This is the best place for breakfast. We had pancakes, omelette, homemade salad which was so good. Everything was fresh and delicious. We went there on busy hour so the store was busy and they took little longer to bring our food. But they keep checking if we need something. I saw lots of flies roaming around table which they should take care of . I would recommend everyone to visit this place.

Good food and service. The staff wore masks and there are partitions between each table. They also use disposable cups and utensils which might bother some, but it was perfectly fine for us.

Really surprised to find this diamond in the rough. Under a permanent structure of scaffolding, and certainly not what I would call an enticing decor, the food and service at this diner was especially good. I was looking for a good place to sit while waiting for someone at the dental surgery clinic next door. The table cubicles were strewn in a most un feng shui fashion, seats ripped and needing repair, I was desperate and sat. The waitress was pleasant and accommodating. I actually got skim milk for coffee, the toast was unbuttered, the eggs hot and runny and best of all the home fries were crispy and flavorful. I’ve been so used to horrible undercooked home fries I’d forgotten they weren’t supposed to be that way. When finished I confessed why I was lingering and she made me even more welcome with an invitation to sit as long as I would like. I sat and watched NY1 for a while until summoned next door. I will be back.

Great place with great service. True diner experience. Food was delicious and service was incredibly fast. I am here for just two weeks but had to come back again.

I wish they would go back to regular utensils, drinking glasses, and coffee cups. I find it so wasteful. The food is fine but try cutting bacon with a plastic fork. By the time I get it all cut the food has cooled.

This place may be open 24 hours for takeout or delivery, but not for what matters the most: Dining in, and the hours for dining in are not posted anywhere, not even on their website. You have to find out on your own in person, and if you get there a little late in the evening and wont settle for less than dining in, then you have to leave with an empty stomach to go somewhere else. Once I had to walk about a mile north to an IHOP just to eat in. As much as I otherwise like the place, I strongly do not recommend it as a late-night option if you dont want to eat at home.

Waited close to an hour for a table & then had to wait another 15-20 minutes to get some menus. Food for decent but not worth the price in my opinion. All & all Ive been to better places in the area.

My friend and I stopped in for a late lunch or early dinner. Customer service was great. The place is clean and they have paper menus so disposable. The food was amazing. I had the meatloaf. As good as my own. Real potatoes for the mashed potatoes. the vegetable soup was nice too.Try the chilli. Its worth it. It reheats really well too.

Service wasn’t bad. The staff could be a little friendlier, but I never felt unwelcome. Pictured is the He-Man Special. Everything was cooked to perfection and tasted delicious. I particularly liked the challah French toast. It never tasted dry.I’ve also ordered take-out from the Diner and the food was great then. This is a good stop for breakfast or if you’re in need of a place to eat near the New York Presbyterian Hospital.

This is a legit New York City diner experience. There aren’t that many of these left, and I’m so glad that WaHi Diner has survived because it’s SO GOOD.I had their lumberjack breakfast. Their service was fast and the place was nice. The food was delicious. It was a great choice for a nice classic breakfast. Definitely recommend it.
