Great place in Buffalo , Cheektowaga NY. A big mall, at the time of my visit a little quiet but a lot of stores to visit. Nice place to go in family.

Its nice they open early for mall walkers but I never see any mall security. When we had to wear masks there was no one to make sure people wore a mask. Many people did not.
I really enjoyed shopping at the Walden Galleria in Buffalo April 3, 2022. It felt like a before COVID-19 mall day. I was shopping for my daughter Junior Prom dress and I loved it. The energy in the mall levitated me.
Went to Victoria Secrets and was in and out. They def required masks which I loved and so many ppl in their and it doesnt seem crowded at all bcuz its such a large store and employees are all awesome and willing to do their best to help u at anytime
This is a great mall, Lots of stores for the whole family. Everything inside is very clean and organized. All the staff is awesome and friendly. There is lots of free parking outside the mall.
Its a very good sized mall but most of the places are very packed and always running out of bags and stuff. Other than that, had a good time there.
KSL testing at galleria.. I went for a PCR test to return to work. I went at noon . It is now 38 hours later and I STILL have no results. I called and emailed and was repeatedly told 24 hours is guaranteed from the time it’s delivered to the lab. I was told if gave them results by 4 pm ( 28 hours), then it was by 8pm 32 hours , then a nice woman from there called and said by 10-11 pm and it is now 2 am! Still no results. They have the correct email and yes I checked my spam. If it’s negative, they owe me 350 dollars for the day I e lost. If it’s positive then they are responsible for helping spread the virus by not doing what they say. I should have just gone to a Walgreens or an urgent care. Do not use them.
I’m only writing this review in an effort for google to send me free socks. If you are reading this then you have just wasted your time and have gained no knowledge about weather or not this place is good
It opens at 11am. Instead of 10am like it use to. Then it closes at 7pm instead of 9:30pm. Just TERRIBLE it would be better if it had the original hours. That way everyone wont crowd in the mall between that small window of time. ☹️😠

⚠️RACIAL PROFILING⚠️ My friend (POC that was racially profiled) and I were walking around the mall without a problem until we passed a white security guard who was in front of a jewelry store. My friend and I were on our way to david busters to meet up with her brother. The man stopped my friend and asked her if she was with a parent or guardian because she wasnt over 18. it was around 4:38 PM which after 4 minors arent supposed to be without someone over the age of 21 but none of the other guards that we passed by had a problem or stopped us from walking around. He also didnt stop me at all he stopped my friend. I was only stopped until I came up next to my friend. The way he spoke to her was so rude. When I tried to question him for his reasonings as to stopping my friend over stopping a group of white minors who passed us in the process of us getting yelled at he claimed I was being aggressive and not cooperating with what he had told us. He told us to walk to david busters and go inside. All I did was ask him a question and he deemed my friend and I as aggressive and he escorted us to the the front of five guys and told us to get our parents to pick us up. (Even though her brother was also a minor and he was supposed to leave with us)My friend and I were at the wrong exit to where we were originally dropped off and we had to walk to the other exit after we did that we were told to leave and not come back in the mall or they would call the police. We were forced to stand outside in 37 degree weather because the guards would let us come in the mall and it was going to be a little while before our ride would get here. I will not be coming back to this mall ever again. And neither will my friend. This is disgusting behavior.
Lots of natural light from the roof sails make for a bright and airy shopping experience. Anchor tenants like Macys, Dicks JC Penney, are here as well as all the major stores. Its the preeminent mall in the Greater Buffalo area.
I havent been here in probably 20 years. I like how comfortable they made it feel inside. Was really dead though. I was told my perception is a mistake and that there has been problem after problem with kids getting out of hand with fighting amd disruptive behavior. Its too bad. Could be a real go to for locals if they could clean it up.
Great mall! Never judge a book by its cover. Once inside this mall is big and full of stores and restaurants. I was there less than an hour and clocked over 7,000 steps. I will definitely go back to this mall! Multiple levels clean and big.

The last of the great malls in WNY always a pleasure to go for the shopping experience. I hope that is able to stay open giving our changing shopping culture
Quite a nice mall. Has all the usual stores and beautiful interior design you would expect from a big American mall but it does not feel like a huge mall which is cool.
The largest mall Ive ever been to so far, though its sadly on the decline after Starbucks and Tim Hortons stopped doing business there. There are new stores on the way though, including a Five Below!
Now, this is a mall! Theres everything under the sun here. The flagship stores and boutiques together lend to a great shopping variety. We had a pleasant walk through the concourse and stopped in to many of the stores looking for those hard to shop for people. Parking was no problems as well
Very disappointed. I was staying at the millennium and walked over to grab something to eat and a Yankee candle. And walked in around 705pm and everything was closed. Yeah it was an off night Tues but 7 common how are things ever going to get back to normal. You cant order a pizza after 9 anymore either

The biggest mall in the area. Nice size food court with many different restaurants. This mall has other restaurants that is just across the parking lot as well as a few restaurants downstairs inside the mall itself. The stores range from medium prices to high-end. Like so many other malls there is no longer a Sears department store. You have a wide range of stores from budget friendly to very highend. Its hard not to find and be satisfied in finding what you need here.
The Galleria Mall, is a very elegant mall. Its bigger than I thought. Just about any department store, a person would need.
The Walden Galleria (mall) provides a variety of stores for all ages including top of the line departments such as JCPenney, Best Buy and Macys. The food court offers many delicious options including the all new Burger King! I like the modern look of the mall. The floors were redone and more stores are revamping and remodeling with more pleasing entrances and interiors. It offers entertainment too with a go-kart place, Regal Cinemas, and Dave and Busters (and many more!).
Love the walden galleria especially when they have age restrictions from all the child drama💀 but nonetheless a great place to shop with all cool employees

Good stores, and a good food court. There are many restaurants around it with some of them opening into it. Good gaming activities and he regal theaters is also there so its a place where you can enjoy even if you want to shop.

This mall is not just a shopping center. It is an entertainment hub! There are amazing restaurants (Bravo being my personal fav!) And unique activities! There is multiple escape rooms/adventures, a movie theater, Dave and Busters, Billy Beez, a virtual reality rollercoaster, and so much more! This mall also offers special events including a trick or treat event that my nephews love. Amazing mall that is keeping current!

Actually, I had went to the Walden galleria looking for Zales jewelry store. And to my understanding and what I was told they were changed by Kays jewelry store!!! So I was just walking around seeing what else would catch my eye at the Walden galleria. And there was a free clinic in there there wasnt even a waiting line, and I got my booster shot!!! Other than all the bad publicity of the way the children are acting up in the mall, if you cant find it check out the galleria mall its somewhere in there anything you need!?!
The mall has been around for a long time. Many good stores to choose from and restaurants. Dave and Busters is one of the main entertainment places here. They have $10 valet parking out in front of the Cheesecake Factory. The information boards are interactive and touch screen.
Good shopping mall for Canadians coming from GTA and nearby areas! With kids indoor paid play area!

Lots of stores to occupy your time. Alot of the stores are higher end stores. Its busy on the weekends and due to the limited capacity in stores because of covid you will most likely be waiting in lines. If you have children billy bees and urban air is a hotspot.

I think its a disgrace that this big mall has only 1 elevator,and it only works part of the time. So I guess they dont want people in wheelchairs, or walkers, or a fear of escalators to shop here unless they stay on the 1st floor. I and my family wont be back. Perhaps the ADA should be made aware of this.
We took kids to see Sing 2 in theaters! The parking was good and the mall was clean to a certain extent wink. Happy to be out and enjoying Buffalo! Not 5 stars due to the potholes all over!
We went to Belly Beez with the grand it wasnt crowded during the week while the kids are in school they had so much fun and we ate at the food court the food was good and hot
Overcowded with a lot of rude, inconsiderate people. They dont abide by the mandate or any other policies such as not allowing minors under a certain age to enter without a parent or adult guardian.When I went there almost two weeks ago - the exit between the the former Lord and Taylor and Macys - I observed a man mopping outside. Looking closely to see what he was mopping, I noticed a red stain . I asked a the person beside me what had happened and was told a security guard was attacked by six youths and stabbed to death the previous night.Strangely, I saw no reports on the local News of the incident.

A mall is always a nice place to walk through, especially in the winter cause even if there are no stores you like, what a great way to get your steps counted. Its clean, large and has a very good choice of stores.5 stars for being the best choice in the Buffalo area not that its the best mall in the country.

Not like it used to be, but physical retail is dying and most malls are on their last leg. The Galleria is fairing better than most but even here the stores come and go frequently, a lot of spaces are empty, and the options are not as high of caliber as they used to be. Still a nice place to walk around once in a while and there’s still plenty of stores and restaurants to chose from.
Its best to find out where the store youre looking for is so you can use the right entrance, its a huge mall and the floors are hard and can cause pain for people with weight issues or arthritis or anyone who tires easily.
I love this mall. Much better than the malls in my hometown, rochester ny. Some stores seemed to be closed for the foreseeable future but Id say its only 20%. Still very much to do.

Vert good place to buy all things in one place if you are going from canada to usa and buy what you need. Beware restroom is at centre of mall and you have to search for it. Its fairly big mall and very crowded. Expect delays. Dont expect shops to be very big, but descent size and necessary things are there. Also dont expect to be very clean, forget covid protocols if you are keen on it.
What to say about this mall. I didnt have a bad experience here. Theres just too many stores! If you would want to go to most of them then Id go in the morning and spend the entire day there because the mall is so big! We had specific stores in mind that we had to go to so it wasnt as bad. It is a great place to get steps in and a workout! I hadnt been to this mall in awhile, but nothing really has changed since Id been there last. Perfect for days when you dont want to travel farther than you have to or would like because all the stores are right there!
Just a good mall, doesnt over exceed, but doesnt under deliver. But that does stand out as a positive with close options like the Boulevard mall or the Outlets, The Galleria just offers much more.Besides high end retail stores and name brand products as again you would expect to get at a mall it has a great food court with a Billie Bees adjacent for all you parents that wanna shop, get the kids some fun and food right after.It includes a Regal Cinema, which once you enter you forget you are in a movie theater in the mall. And again for parents, Regal has a nice little summer event when the kiddos are out of school, movies are $1 I think, worth researching.And a nice touch is World of Beer, Dave and Busters, Cheesecake Factory, and Melting Pot...you can make a whole afternoon/night here.

Christmas is in full gear at the Walden galleria even got to see Santa Claus what a busy hustling place the variety of stores is endless I havent been there in some time cant wait to go back and on top of that they had massaging chairs in the middle of the mall $1 for 3 minutes it was actually I really enjoyed it had a good laugh and picked up some presents Merry Christmas God bless

It was an incident that happened and we got kicked out of my grandsons first birthday party I spent a lot of money and was not able to get any refund wasnt expecting all but I thought I should have got something back, what am I guess I had just paid for and she didnt even get a chance to join the party

Have not been there since Covid shut the mall down. I finally got back and was surprised at how much the prices went up. $3.00 for a bottle of Coke. $40. For PC games that are 19.99 online. Popits at one store were selling for $40. Same thing online $17. Thought I was in NYC. I know things are more at the store compared to online but price went up a lot.
Decent shopping and brands - prices could be more competitive but overall a pleasant experience. Food court has a lot of food options. Restrooms could be cleaner but they get a lot of traffic!
This was back when life was great before the girl I was engaged to started sleeping with the neighborhood now I cant bear to look at these pictures literally makes me sick to my stomach what a joke but a very good lesson learned hows that Im alone I have crazy amounts of money because no matter what I gave her it was never enough and because I was crazy about her I want above and beyond to try to please her constantly pretty embarrassing last time I saw her she made plans with some other guy and I paid for the Uber to get her out of my house and over to the other guy I never thought I would think so low of a female

Good mall. All the staple stores. A ton of options for restaurants, and entertainment as well.
The mall itself is pretty nice and has a decent variety of stores. Its mostly clothing stores with a few places for entertainment (Dave & Busters, the theatre, escape rooms, etc.) I would recommend avoiding coming alone though, as theres been some issues with large crowds coming in.
This place is magic. My son took us here on a recent visit home. The selection is phenomenal, the food was spot on, the staff are courteous and quick. Check out the ambience for yourself....Definitely planning to return.
Lots of fun things to look at. Christmas time so everything is extra sparkly and festive. Store selection is normal but its mostly nice just to walk around and get some food.
Not a place I feel secure going alone, especially after all of the fights that break out there. I used to go there all the time, but now I drive out to the plazas in Amherst when I need to shop. It really is too bad that they cant keep safe.

Still find it a pleasant place to walk, browse, shop, and get a snack or meal, especially when the weather outside is not ideal. Watched a great flick at Regal Cinemas, our first time at the movies in over 18 months! Definitely worth a visit.
Like most malls in America, the Galleria has fallen on hard times. Ive never seen so many empty shops. While there are still a few spots you can only find here in Buffalo, most people seem to be sticking to online shopping. The crowd sizes are small and the parking is easy to handle right now. Good place to go for a quiet walk with the family.
Returning/ exchanging Christmas gifts. Was not as crowded as I expected, which was a welcome relief to me. Enjoyed getting some steps in.
Good sized mall for a mid-sized city. Great place to spend the afternoon on a rainy weekend.Restaurants, movie theaters, huge food court.Lots of the standard big box stores.We spent the day, had lunch and saw a newly released movie.

My favorite mall ever in Buffalo, NY. I’ve been to Boulevard Mall in Amherst And Kensington Mall and they were nowhere near as great as Galleria Mall. The lighting in this mall is so bright and welcoming, big area, unlike the other malls. I don’t have to buy anything from here because I can just walk the whole mall, as long as I want with no questions asked. They have a lot of entertainment shops that are not closed or packed. It’s the best mall.

Use to feel safe here as a kid. Now it attracts all the trash from the city. Why fight and vandalize stuff?
Went to the Regal Movie Theater here because, Im very picky about cleanliness and, since Im always so impressed with the Elmwood and Transit locations I knew these theaters would be very clean too. I was right, these looked beautiful too and, that means I can enjoy my movie.
Parking spaces are great for compact cars. I have a truck.

We went to Dave & Busters and will not return..the server doesnt check on anyone, there was an issue with 1 of the people in our party of 9 that didnt receive their food and upon looking at the order it never appeared on it..the floors are filthy and the staff brings the food out randomly and the food was cold..My party wasnt the only ones with conplaints..the manager did what he could to smooth things over ..
Missing some big names but still good place to shop
Each time I go shopping at the Walden Galleria, I have to stop by the Food Court for some Japanese cuisine. The Oyishi Japan food stall serves good food. I enjoy ordering their noodles with beef and chicken teriyaki combos with veggies. Whats important/fun for me, was that the chef reheats/cooks the food on the spot, where its visible.
A medium Tops.WAY better than the charnel pit @ University but not as nice as Sheridan near Highland.
Great mall, one of the few that are actually going strong. When you see an antique store in the mall you know that the point of no return. Not this place. I pass it often and usually a bunch of cars there.
Love the new rule that if you are under 18 you have to be with a parent after 4:00 p.m.
I love it! But Im a mall rat, so Ill always recommend malls. Malls are dying, so we as the customers are the only ones who can bring them back!This one however, probably doesnt need our help, it seems to be doing great, so go check it out if you somehow havent already!

I guess more people come in on the weekends.During the week days, both last week and today, it is very light foot traffic. A lot of walkers and food court sitters.Even at 11:20 am a lot of small shops and kiases are still closed. Even Starbucks is closed.The Lego store is doing a very brisk business every time I go by.I will say about the masks this. About 50/50 on masks over no masks. A number of stores require a mask.I dont know when or how this mall will get back to normal.

Get on your walking shoes, youre gonna need them! This mall is quite sizeable with just about any store you need inside. The added bonus is the Cheesecake factory (which still has curbside delivery, if you need to eat in a pinch. ) Theres also a Dave and Busters!

I just saw on the news that they are working with peacekeepers and the police to enforce the under 18 rule where they have to be accompanied by an adult,well that’s not being done,I was there This past Saturday night,and there were plenty of under age kids,as a matter of fact there was a group of about 15 down in the newer section and the peacekeepers walked right by them,so how can you say you’re enforcing this policy

Great mall, was a fun visit for the last day on my trip to Niagara falls. Not much to say other than it was a good mall and being from Vermont it was certainly a different experience. Highly recommend!
I avoid going here. Just roo big, too many stores. Not a very friendly crowd. I only go there as a very last resort. I do go to Best Buy there but that sorta sucks because there stock is so low and you can never get any help, no customer service. This is probably the only and most negative post that I have ever done.

I havent visited this mall in a long time they have a few new stores coming soon and two levels of stores to visit. Shoe and clothing stores are everywhere. They have a cinema and an indoor race track.
Its a comfortable place, if youre okay with walking. Currently with Covid-19, the benches are not for use. However, thats fine considering the food court is open, which has seating if absolutely necessary. Other than that, no complaints. Its a nice place to spend your day.

Well... Its a mall in 2021 that isnt 90% empty, so Ill give it credit for that. But it also didnt have anything that captured my interest. All the same chains that used to be in all the malls are somehow still alive here.

Not a bad mall its not too crowded but a lot of people eat in the mall when they tell them not too. Also saw more than a handful of people walking around dont wear masks properly or at all was a little uncomfortable. Other than that was a nice place to get some new clothes and such.
Didnt even make it to the door before a wanna be thug blew through a stop sign swerving and barely missing my girlfriend and I walking in the cross walk. He then stopped and got out yelling at me about being in his way. Avoid this mall at all costs, I now remember why I havent stepped foot here in a few years.
The Hot Topic inside is my go-to since I like to collect the pins they sell,also the employees are really fun to interact with :) the clothes there and in H&M are usually what I target, its pretty big and looks better then loads of the malls Ive been to, but definitely go there if youre visiting NY :) doubt youll leave empty handed

Had to go to get a homecoming dress and yes it was hectic, chaotic, what have you. But mall closes at nine and shops were shutting down by 7. Just consumer beware I suppose if youre an off- of- work -gotta -run after person like me. It was disappointing because I thought I had an hour or two to browse and patronage other stores.

I loved visiting this mall. However the Subway at the Food Court needs to check their attitude. Servers tossed my food around like it was trash, I asked for water, she didnt include it in my order. She kept rolling her eyes even though I was just ordering, they dont need to act like theyre doing me a favor by making the food that Im going to pay for in the end. Terrible customer service. Wrapped my sub and tossed it on the counter like it was gross. I get bad days. But dont take it out on customers who didnt do anything to you
This was a mall me and my family had frequented a bit ago but stopped going because it seemed to be in a slump (stores leaving, nearly empty food court) but man an I glad we decided to go an check it out again because it is on a huge upswing, great stores, the mall itself looks great, glad to have it back to normal 🙂
LOVE THE FOOD COURT !! VERY BIG MALL. Some stores I had walked into didn’t have professional welcoming employees like footlocker for example which were goofing around ... but other then that it’s a good mall wished they had more cool things like a VR gaming center you know something fun for adults 😁

I am high on the fact that the Galleria mgmt has recognized, and made convenient parking spaces available for seniors. Way to go Galleria!

Crowded. They need to extend closing hours from 7pm to 9pm. At least in the summer.
Im a senior citizen and walk with a cane! I couldnt find a bench to sit down. My grandson and I had to leave sooner than we wanted to because I needed to sit. Also there isnt enough handycap parking close to the Build a Bear enterence!
I love this mall. Im sorry to say I dont feel comfortable going at night any more because kids come in big groups, cause trouble and get into fights. I know people that wont shop there anymore because they dont feel safe. Its a shame, it really is a nice mall.

This dave and busters actually had all the games working. That is my biggest complaint with dave and busters. All the games are broken but here everything worked.As well as they had all the ingredients for the drinks. This is the first dave and busters that actually had the strawberry cubes for the drink.All the other dave and busters need to follow example.
What a discusting disaster. I can not believe how dirty, unsafe and repulsive this place has become. My family and I went there to eat at the food court and never again. I saw at least 3 people who had guns in their waist bands. There was almost a fight, as we fled the the mall security was running toward the food court. When I got outside there was blood all over the sidewalk. The parking lot was dirty and filled with people drinking in their cars. Do not go here, do not take your kids here.

Today my visit to the Walden Galleria Mall was great. I was able to come in and shop. Enjoyed the view and was not overwhelmed.
First time visiting Walden Galleria since before the closure started. It felt weird walking into a mall owned by a management company that is suing over a dozen tenants for not paying rent when the mall was closed down by the state, but I had to get an engraved plate by Things Remembered. There was seldom a sticker on the ground saying that each side of the mall was one way for walking (which everyone was ignoring anyways) and at least 1/4 of the shoppers had their masks off. Absolutely no mall security, etc, to enforce anything. About 1/3rd of the storefronts were vacant. Not a safe shopping experience due to lack of any covid enforcement.
Always teens fighting in there. Its an ok place to shop if you go before school gets out
The 4D theater is awesome! So fun cranking the movie experience up to the next level. Finally something that beats my living room!
Went to Urban Air. It was over crowded. Stood in line for 40 min. Then stood in lines for 20 to 30 minutes each area that my daughter wanted to go on.
This mall needs more security, there is a lot of food stores in the mall.
Found my new favorite store for plus size women(TORRID)!

Sabbir was an awesome customer service rep. He did everything for me and understood that I have no Idea about how to transfer my info to a new phone. He even gave me a follow-up call! He stands out way above all the rest!!

There are only 2-3 stores I shop at there. Its not like it used to be sadly. It can be intimidating sometimes to go there by myself. I saw a lot of security personal there last night...made me feel better.
Very good social distancing practiced especially in *smaller stores! They obviously have a max limit per small store but honestly?Worth the wait. Lowkey I think since the Pandemic the staff at almost all of the Galleria has been friendly.Before the new store opened so idk how it is now ✨

The biggest mall in Buffalo. It has a fine selection of stores, and the ball is kept clean, but its still a mall. Not my first choice for anything.

2022-07-02Big mall with lots of shops!! Very clean and safe. We stopped in the Lego store which was pretty awesome. We stopped in Dave & Busters which was really awesome with lots of games. Great place to visit when in the Buffalo area.

2021-09-28This is one big shopping mall. They have most of the flagship stores. But I’m missing Nordstorm in here. It’s a two floor mall, and it’s vast to explore. They got some unique selection of restaurants in the food court. Restrooms are bit untidy. Not soo crowded. One of the places to kill our time.Don’t expect offers from stores here, as there are very few stores providing small offers.

2022-04-26Beautiful mall. Well kept. Lots of stores with reasonable prices. Could probably shop for hours if I had the time to. Lots of on-site restaurants to choose from. They have quite a few fun attractions here as well (play areas, high ropes course, escape room, etc.). Definitely a fun place to shop for sure.

2020-11-19I enjoy this mall on week days and early Weekends. Its so beautiful around the holidays. There is a great variety of stores for young and old. If you do not like a very crowded shopping mall go early in the day when it opens on the week days. There is something here for everyone. From great food shopping entertainment and tasty treats. Great place for holiday shopping

2022-03-31Nice mall, a lot of stores. But just like ours in Syracuse. My mall rule is not to go on nights or weekends, and as of now i wont go to destiny at all bc of all the happenings that keep getting worse so i was happy to check out a new mall, We were here doing a job on a Saturday and then..as it got close to night, there was an incident. Eventually Malls in general are going to be a past time thanks to hoodlums and/or punks, brats, whatever they are, that cant act right In public, what a shame.
