Get a lot of prescriptions from walgreens always, fast its like as soon as I get from the doctor to walgreens they are ready nice place good selection and sales..The lady who answers the phone at the pharmacy is very nice and engages in conversation instead of rushing or acting like a robot..Im pleased to see not only are you open but open until 10 pm excellent.

2022-01-05I had an appt for a COVID test and received a confirmation email that morning. When I arrived they told me they couldn’t do it because they were understaffed and they claimed they called me the day before from a cell phone and left a voicemail. There was no voicemail. Why is Walgreens using a cell phone to call and not leaving a voicemail, but still sending out a confirmation email in the morning? Staff is lying and tech is incompetent. I understand staffing shortages but there was no voicemail.

2021-11-27Really would like to put no stars . This location really needs to get new employees. The people ESPECIALLY the lazy rude pharmacist. I asked for a rapid covid test which can be given from the pharmacy drive thru and she looked at me with the dirtiest look and says you can go inside ….. i than went to another Walgreens on 112 (amazing, professional,respectful) had no problem giving it to me and another Walgreens i have went to didn’t give me a problem as well .if you don’t like where you work change it . The people here really are making this business worse by having people take their business else where

2021-08-26I cant believe that this corporation could leave literally thousands of people without their medications. The Centereach New York store is closed due to an unknown emergency. My husband was waiting for a call to pick up his medicine he finally called and we found out store closed. We called Selden New York store and were told they werent taking New customers and basically figure it out yourself. She actually said call CVS .Thank God for my insurance company, they were able to transfer script to CVS. Bye Walgreens.

2021-09-11Terrible. I made an appointment for a rapid covid test online and received multiple confirmation emails. After driving 30 minutes to get to this Walgreens, there was a piece of paper at the pharmacy drive-thru saying due to unforeseen circumstances, were closed. If you made an appointment, please reschedule or go to the Commack location. There was no availability at Commack and the next available appointment at this location wasnt for another 3 days. Then, 2 hours later I get an email saying my appointment has been cancelled...horrible communication, will never be using this Walgreens again.

2020-07-05Clean store, nice workers besides Bernice. Bernice needs to learn customer service and not take her bad days out on you. She clearly shouldn’t be doing register. My neighbor as well as my roommate and myself always receive attitudes from her as well as constantly being given nasty looks and now recently lying about hand sanitizer wipes being in stock right behind her!!

2021-04-25I received the first and second doses of the Pfizer vaccine here. I felt faint after the second dose and almost passed out.A staff member, who said that he was also an EMT, took my vitals. My pulse was about 160; my blood pressure, around 181/111.STAFF WERE NOT EQUIPPED TO TREAT MY SYMPTOMS. The young man had an EpiPen available, but he could only use it if my airways were shut. He also gave me a bottle of water to drink, but that did not help at all. I felt like I was going to die.So I asked for an ambulance, which came within 10 minutes. The crew wheeled me out of there on a stretcher and took me to the ER of a local hospital, where I was hydrated with IV fluids. Thankfully, I was discharged that evening after the MD gave me medication to reduce my blood pressure.Lesson learned: NEVER GO TO A PHARMACY OR POP-UP SITE FOR A VACCINATION. ALWAYS GO TO A SITE WHERE THERE IS AN EMS CREW AND/OR PROFESSIONAL MEDICAL STAFF ON PREMISES TO ADMINISTER IV FLUIDS, OXYGEN AND OTHER MEDICAL NECESSITIES.WALGREENS STAFF IS NOT EQUIPPED TO HANDLE ALL MEDICAL EMERGENCIES! I will never go back to Walgreens again.

2019-02-14Most times when a sale starts on Sunday, most items on sale that are in the circular are not available until the following Wednesday which shortens your sale time to only 4 days depending on the item and its availability. I do realize I have the option of getting a rain check but that still does not solve the problem of item unavailability on the start of the sale date. Walgreens should look into the whos, hows and whens of their ordering system. Wouldve given no stars, but system would not allow me to do so.

2018-06-03Absolute awful service with the front end. I sent in a photo order electronically and it was sitting in the photo computer for 15 minutes the front end cashier was just on her phone. I told her I had an order and she paged someone to help. Got the order and the girl up front rang me up while talking to her friends she couldn’t count my change and I had to remind her she owed me $5. She paged up another employee, not to help with the line, but so she can walk around with her friends. Awful service

2018-11-14Love how they’re out of bags and the cashier doesn’t even try to go out of her way to offer a solution (have my baby,gallon of water, tissues, and plenty of other things) and then leaves my stuff on the counter and proceeds to check out the next customer. Didn’t offer Any sort of help. I had to reach over and grab my stuff while she moved on to the next person. Her answer: I don’t know what to tell you? Really? At least the gentleman she was cashing out asked if I could use some help. I literally live across the street and come here all the time always the same cashier with the same attitude. I was mortified.
