Walgreens in other cities:
A TWILIGHT ZONE WALGREENS NIGHTMARE Store 2122, Nov 19th 8:10pm-1030PM- We drove an hour from Rockland county for a Covid Booster shot, booked two weeks in advance.Arriving a few minutes early we get to the counter as the metal gate is being shut. The entire multi-person Pharmacy section is just ghosting us and other customers because 7pm shift failed to show. First- wrong info that another shift is coming at 10pm- wanna wait 2 hours for a 10 minute appointment? Then we were told 9pm by the pharmacist. At 9pm- crickets but a long line forming of people with appointments, to pick up prescriptions- everyone feeling VERY Uncomfortable and Confused.Around 920pm the relief pharmacist arrives...I had to ask the store managers twice to essentially- walk me over the the Pharmacy section from the front to explain how long we were waiting...So, other people on line didnt think we were jumping the line and start a fight. We were by this point, hungry, tired, angry- what kinda store makes appointments and the entire staff doesnt show? In change of that? The poor Pharmacist who did show had to do 5 jobs, and told us she was exhausted from working all morning, getting 4 hours sleep and her eyes were burning from staring at the computer so long....A NIGHTMARE FOR STAFF, A NIGHTMARE FOR CUSTOMERS. Everyone was unhappy, everyone was angry...The single pharmacist had to enter our Covid info and fill out forms, then jump to prescription line, answer phones, and prep Covid shots. Finally we got them and left- a 10 minute appointment that took 2 1.2 hours. The most unprofessional retail experience I have ever had. Ruined our night, we were planning on a dinner but didnt feel like cooking, a restaurant we like nearby had closed- all around WALGREENS TWILIGHT ZONE NIGHTMARE. Someone should look into this and fire the Pharmacy staff or manager and hire people who show up for work, and have backups. #boycottwalgreens, #Walgreenssucks
I went in a realized that a few shelves were cordoned off. I asked the lone female (Tasha) as the counter if it was OK to proceed. She looked me up and down with disdain and said yes. After realizing that some of the items I needed were in the area that was cordoned off I then went back to asked if someone could fetch them for me. Without any provocation, she went on a belligerent tirade about how she is not paid enough for people to ask her stupid questions. I was embarrassed as other shoppers looked on in disbelief,I asked to speak to her manage, I couldnt even hear myself speaking because she was ontop of her voice about how she is overworked and underpaid. She manager nod and smirked saying that he will speak to someone about the incident on Monday if he remembers. My question to walgreens is; is this representative of your culture? Is this way loyal consumers should be treated? One thing for sure is that as of today walgreens have lost a consumer. I have never been so embarrassed, disrespected and belittled by any service workers before. I regret every penny I have spent at this location.something needs to be done about your workers workers mannerism, almost everyone has something negative to say in regards to this store, as customers and as a community, we deserve better service for our hard earned money.
Usually I find Walgreens busy and disorganized so I try to avoid it but I had to help my mother pick up a prescription and made the trip. Even though the item was out of stock and not ordered through fault of our doctor not Walgreens. The gentleman working the pharmacy tonight was very helpful and knowledgeable. He checked to see if another location had it, and even waited as the doctor called in to see if other options were avaliable. I found him attentive, personable, and helpful. His co worker also helped in checking the system and was helpful to write down some information. In the end the issue worked out and I had a positive experience.
Terrible service. Senior citizens are having an extremely difficult time navigating appointments for the COVID vaccine. They have trouble scheduling appointments on the internet, printing consent forms, and e mailing confirmations to the store. With that said, the lack of compassion and empathy I witnessed while at the pharmacy intake center was disgraceful. While it is true that everyone is feeling the pressure of the paperwork, we need to be diligent and ensure that our senior population is treated with dignity and respect. No, many of them can’t print out forms, No, many of them don’t know how to pull up e mails from their phone , and No, they don’t know how to send an email using their phone. What might seem like second nature to the 20, 30. And even 40 year old, is certainly not second nature for an 85 year old person. Please be kind to them. If you think it’s hard for you, imagine what the isolation has been for them, and then compound it with the fact that those in charge of administration have no patience or empathy for them. From my understanding, this has not occurred in some places; however, it did occur at your Walgreens. I would look into this, and educate the staff on how to relate to the elderly. Thank you !
They gave me the wrong medicine and I came to tell them, First guy told me to call the num on the box ( I did) 2nd guy told me to call my doctor to change the prescription that was wrong they say (I did call ) the morning girl (7:40) told me to wait for the manager and he told me I have to buy the other one my self 150$. They cant take it back and cant change the mistake they made.
Terrible customer service. They have no patience for any of their customer. Theyre extremely rude people, especially the ones working the cash register:I will NEVER go back to this Walgreens ever again. They just lost a valuable customer. Going forward it will be either Target or CVS.
Great store. Everything open 24 hours. Order (product and social) even at night. Staff take ownership position in their jobs therefore providing spot on customer service. They are quick and polite. Lots of space so no bumping into each other and there is privacy by the pharmacy. Pharmacy can process medicine vouchers quickly, accurately and efficiently. There are also about like 12 clean chairs for waiting, but you typically do not need them. Best kept secret. I might delete this review this place is so good.
I called the pharmacy to ask how long my medication will be ready for pick up & was told 20 mins, so I came in 30 mins, figured I would give them 10 additional mins to finish. I arrive at the pharmacy and was asked to wait 10 mins... which became 1 hour. I then asked to speak to the manager and explained calmly that its unfair for the pharmacist to LIE AND GIVE INACCURATE INFORMATION TO THE PATIENT. i trust the Pharmacist KNOWS how LONG it takes to fill a prescription...after all its his job, therefore WHY have patients who are sick waiting around. Ultimately I dont recommend anyone to get thier meds here...unless u plan to pick up days later...Summary:HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE & LACK OF CONSIDERATION FOR SICK PATIENTS!
I keep reading all these bad reviews and personally I have had the opposite experience. They always have had my medication when I need it there was only one time they didnt have it to no fault of their own (it was on backorder) but they went out of their way to make sure I got it, they are VERY friendly and professional this is why I switched from CVS.
DO NOT FILL YOUR PRESCRIPTIONS HERE! Expect the most horrible experience ever! The pharmacist are rude and dismissive, weather in person or in person. There is only 1 pharmacist at a time to serve a long line of customers. And dont forget to count your pills. They may give you less than prescribed. Its happened to me. This Walgreens has no regard for your time and refuse to properly staff the pharmacy. Nightmare! Theres a CVS right across the street or do yourself a favor and find any other place to fill your prescriptions, but run from this place.
Worst experience. Went to pick up my medication off hours when it wasnt busy at all and kenneth, the pharmacist, was attending to my needs but when I asked him about why the price for my medication was so high, he gave me an attitude which lead to a heated discussion. He insulted me...a customer!!! Told him he wasnt fit to be in this service and will complain about him to his manager. Incidentally, I asked another employee about people having issues with him and, no surprise, seems like many people complain about Kenneths behavior. Go to CVS across the street for your medication. Not sure how they are, but it cant be worse than this.
If you love waiting online and watching everyone move in slow motion than this is the place for you. It doesn’t matter what time I come here there is always a line. The workers aren’t even pleasant. I come here only when cvs is closed and even than it just out mere necessity. I still regret it every time.
If you want a pharmacy GO SOME WHERE ELSE. THE SERVICE ABSOLUTELY IS THE WORST IVE EVER EXPERIENCED. It literally took me two days to get my antibiotics. Im lucky I havent died of infection before getting my meds here. Systems are down, they dont accept anything but cash and it has been like this for days! This rating is specifically for the pharmacy.
Horrible customer service. I just purchased some items and the staff casually “forgot” to put some of them in my bag, I called to confirm and the night time manager Jeanette was extremely rude and defensive and told me it’s not her problem and there’s nothing she could do about it. So I guess I’m just at a loss at 4am and have to drive 40 mintues back. Horrible night time crew with bad attitudes that suck their teeth at any issues. So upsetting
Pharmacy in nepperhan Walgreens is absolutely the worst. About 8 employees and no one here to address customers. The wait for medicine too long. You can see they have very immature technicians and no supervision. Today 12 3 2018 at 427 in the afternoon. Technicians shenezea and a few others.
The manager (with red hair at night time, not sure of her name) argued with me over the price of a brush. The Goody brush along with two of the same were on thee rack labeled 3.99. it rang up 9.99. She took her time to go look and see if it was on the 3.99 rack. She sees it was along with the two others, states she will not be giving it to me for the 3.99 because there was not enough of them on the rack. The label with 3.99 even had the same brand Goody of the three brushes that were on it. Still she would not give me the price the brush was labeled. Why walk to check if you know youre not going to give it at the price its labeled? In front of a huge line of people she embarrassed me by being nasty and making it seeem as though I was a liar or at least wrong, when clearly any other store or worker probably wouldve given the 3.99 because its just thethe corr thing to Do. I go to this location every night, and this woman sees me every night .Ive worked in customer service and have always been told the customer is always right what happened to that? Instead she makes me look like a fool and argues with me and refuses to do the right thing. Or did she really look like the fool? Yeah, I think so....but she made me feel like I was and thats whats wrong.
Typical Yonkers business . Long line, not enough help. Only two registers open. I stood there for 15 minutes and line didnt move, so I walked out. The worst part is that the two checkers there are slower than death and chatter between themselves. The Asian guy at the register is so slow its too painful to watch. They also constantly run out of certain brands of beverages and take weeks to restock, trying to force you to buy the brands that they cant move. Like I said, typical Yonkers business. Big on suck, poor on service.
I dont know why people are saying bad about this place. Has free parking, open 24 hours. Staffs are very friendly. I needed something over the counter, pharmacy staff came down to get it. She showed me few staffs and told me the in and out about it . Very clean and organized place. Overall great experience!
Horrible customer service the manager yelled at the employee for trying to scan my coupon on my phone mind you I had just picked up a package and she was saying I had to print out the coupon in order for me to use it but it didn’t say I had to print it out...she was so rude and nasty and the guy ended up scanning my coupon which worked after she said it wouldn’t work unless I printed it out...this walgreens needs to be re-staffed with nicer employees...

2022-04-09Doesn’t stay open 24 hours now and if noticed Walgreens medications is more expensive than most drug stores! They now close at 9pm. I called them at 8:04 and waited over an hour and someone just came on and hung the phone up. They are the worst over there now! You’re waiting forever! Even if you do express checkout! Used to be a really good place! Now that the pharmacy is not 24 hrs will definitely be switching pharmacies!!!

2022-04-13If you ever need a prescription don’t come here. This is the worst location, it’s absurd how as consumers this is considered acceptable practices. My doctor won’t even call in prescriptions to them because they do not respond. So unorganized and under staffed, if you can get someone to pick up a phone, you should be a miracle worker. I’m definitely taking my business to CVS

2022-06-09This store has the worst customer service this is the second time I’ve been to this store and always have issues with my online orders including that they never get my online orders correct, they always say online that the items are not in stock and when I go in the store the item is there. Furthermore, the managers are very unprofessional and rude, it’s incredibly sad that I as a customer have to deal with incompetent employees like them and issues regarding my purchased items. the worst walgreens you can go to!!! the employees treat you with a very bad attitude😠

2021-12-13Had a great experience today getting booster at the Walgreens at 1230 Nepperhan Ave, Yonkers, NY 10703 -- easy to make appointment as guest online about nine days prior; check upon arrival for todays appointment was pleasant and quick, followed by waiting in a fairly comfortable chair for about 13 minutes. The jab itself quick and easy. I found the experience efficient, professional and just fine!

2022-01-03As Im on the phone for an hour and a half they still keep putting me on hold. Their customer service is beyond horrible. Then they make me pay for my wife medication cause of the huge error they maid and say its my insurance that keeps denying it. Of course when walgreens keeps putting the wrong information. As I was emailed the information they keep putting in smh. And you would think management would fix this problem. So much staff and no one can be assigned to phone duties smh this doesnt even diserve a star.

2021-12-20You cannot reach this pharmacy by phone. I was put on hold last week for 45 minutes and then hung-up on without talking to anyone, and now they did it again after waiting 30 minutes. My very important prescription has not been filled and I don’t know what to do. It can’t be transferred either. When I tried scheduling a Covid-19 vaccine appointment on their app, it gives a blank screen (latest iOS and app version).

2022-03-21I call this location because my local Walgreens pharmacy was still closed and I had ran out of insulin over the weekend guy tells me it’s going to take 1hr and 30mins I told him I couldn’t wait they long because I have took my meds since yesterday evening he told me theirs nothing he can do I don’t understand how hard it is to scan my meds and put it in a bag Mind you I’ve been getting my meds from my local Walgreens for more than 7 years and never had to wait that long

2022-06-07Walgreens should set up a system where your prescriptions are automatically forwarded to a nearby store when a given outlet is temporarily closed.

2021-12-17Trying to call the pharmacy and see what is going on with my prescription. They put me on hold for more than half hour. They pick up the phone and then hold over and over. Clearly they did not want to deal with the phone call. Very disappointed. I hope management take action.
