My experience with one of the new staff at Walgreens 6 McLean Ave, Yonkers, NY 10705 is no satisfactory except for the new manager Kris, who is amazing always try to help each customer. I been feeling uncomfortable since the hired one of the new cashiers, I do not know his name because he never had a name tag or anything to identify himself. I know as a customer that with all experience different situation. I live close to the store I been going to this store and the one in nepperhan av. for years on my account I have over 140,000 points because I always purchased from this company as well as my family. Since august I started feeling uncomfortable and harass by this cashier Hispanic big youth men that wear glasses. Every time that I go to the store I see him talking about me with any employee that its next to him the company can verify on each tape on the camara for example yesterday I went after a week since my last transaction at this store as soon as he saw me I don’t know if he didn’t want to take me on his line but he call another employee and told him “look she is about to use a lot of coupon” what make this worst is that this comment was made out loud the other short Puerto rican cashier respond “well tell her only 4” I was the third customer on the line and heard everything. On the shopping cart I only had 6 items and 3 coupons from my understanding P&G pay the company for each coupon plus Walgreens take care of the digital coupon. After feeing emotional stress and anxiety from another incident with an online order with this company now I feel harass by this employee really what else I need to experience with this company. This how you guys treat a loyal customer where is the type of customer service that this company is providing. Two weeks ago I was trying to make a return and he told me “No” I said why; he respond was “oh you are not supposed to return items from another location even if you have your receive and the purchase was made the day before” I was like on ok I decided to go to the African American manager who is always nice he apology and told me that he is new and if every time was fine with the order. Don’t get me wrong this company had wonderful employee like one staff member his name I believe is Dj African youth men that is always stocking up the shelf and when he see a busy line jump on register to help out, also Mel Hispanic youth female manager always with a pony tail, and Kris as I mention. I do not know the name of the rest wonderful staff. I do not believe that employee get paid to be talking about the customer and making their own policy when it comes to return specially if they do not know what they are talking about. He should tell me instead Ms. I am new I do not know the return policy let me check with another employee or management. I believe he need to be trained again he is no ready to be a cashier if he does not know what customer service is. From now on I will contact corporate if get to deal with a similar situation and will record anything that can be useful. Its becoming stress to shop at Walgreens. I do not want to imagine how others customer that can’t speak up feel with their experience.
The staff are very friendly, but the place overall is very understaffed. The pharmacy is constantly closing early and you can’t get through on the phone. When they are open, there are extremely long lines at both the register and the pharmacy. You will age while you wait there.
This Walgreens used to be great but who ever is managing the store now is running it into the ground. For many of the products the shelves are bare. I have gotten my flu shot at Walgreens for several years now but in September 2020 I was told that medicare does not cover the flu shot. I said what? that cannot be correct but the technician said that is what the system is telling him. I left the store called Medicare and was informed that my flu shot was covered and that I did not need a Rx. So I went to Rite Aid and got my flu shot there. I will be transferring my Rxs to Rite Aid. I am very disappointed.
The store manager Zadian Stevenson disregarded me at the photo department in regards to handle a transaction at the register of the photo department. I asked him if the transaction couldnt be handled at the register and he said yes it could but that he would not do it for me and that i needed to get on line. There wasnt any line for the photo department, which is why i approached the register to handle my transaction. I didnt understand why he disregarded me so disgracefully but I proceeded to wait in line for the other store department. It was long. And i waited on it for no reason considering i was told by zadian that the transaction could indeed be handled there in the photo department. Once I was called to the register unfortunately it was zadian handling the transaction here again. He continued to be rude and not maintain any eye contact or proper communication with me throughout my transaction besides for the instance he decided to let me know that the 500 dollar transaction i was handling was non refundable. He foolishly went on to charge me twice for the greendot upload fee. 4.95$. He charged me on the greendot debit card. And he charged me 4.95 cents in cash. He Gave me my five cents back and I went on with my business and exited the store. It wasnt until afterwards while in transit to my next location that i realized he chsrged me twice. I called the location back to find out how to handle this discrepancy this manager made onto my debit card and ironically it was mister stevensons stupid imcompetant self that answered the telephone. I was told by him to come back to the location to reverse the extra 4.95 i was charged. I agreed with him and asked how do i submit a complaint about the customer service i recieved at the location and was given an 800 number for walgreens. The only reason i am actually following through with this complaint is because of the level of audacity i was dealing with from miater stevenson. He treated me like i was beneath him and was extremely insensitive and disrespectful to the customers entering the stores location and myself and i felt the need to bring tbis to attention on a corporate level. This man doesnt need to be working there and giving walgreen businesses a bad reputation for their customer service. I hope that at some point in the future i can be treated properly when i enter this location to handle business and this issue can be resolved with mister stevenson in a timely matter.Thank you for listening to my ecperience at this location.
FedEx delivered a package to this location for them to hold. I wasn’t too happy when the lady told me it was being sent back but it was just delivered yesterday!!!! I was told I had 5 days to pick it up when the lady came with the excuses that it was there a long time but FedEx JUST shipped it Friday and it was delivered Sunday !!! She told me it was there for a few days lol yeah go ahead blame fedex because you’re incompetent and spiteful. I’ll never use this location to receive packages ever again !!!! Watch out for these people I wouldn’t be surprised if she was trying to sneak it into her car
I don’t care for Walgreens anymore.This Walgreens location is where my prescriptions go from my Doctor’s office, so when they’re ready I get a text message for me to pick them up.I have Fibromyalgia, which means I Am in constant pain daily , so it’s hard for me to walk all the way there to pickup my medication.Walgreens has a delivery service in which they never told me about until months later , even though I informed them of my condition and sometimes not being able to always walk there.I recently started to switch all of my prescriptions to another pharmacy that no doubtlessly delivers, with no questions asked, also Walgreens prices are way over priced compared to other pharmacies.My relationship with Walgreens was good while it lasted, but now it’s time for me to move on from them.
This place doesnt even deserve a star, i guess that was the only way i could get to write a review. I ordered pictures to be printed on monday, after waiting for 15 mins, the employee called his supervisor, who didnt find my pics either, and the only think he could think of was to say sorry, need new employees, and a better trained manager with customer care skills.
They don’t ever want to check in the back for ANYTHING THEY RATHER TELL YOU THEY DONT HAVE IT. They DONT answer phones when it’s close to closing I literally called them from my house had enough time to get there to see why my phone call wasn’t being answered and there was no reason at all they just DIDNT WANT TO how is that professional ITS NOTTTTT THIS WALGREENS IS HORRIBLE !!!!
Today I was at this Walgreens location if I could give a zero I would the manager Tiffany and the other manager at this location where eyeing me down as if I was trying to steal . And the way she talked to her staff I didn’t like . On the bright side there was an excellent staff member there named Tia she helped me find all the items I needed today .
The staff at this pharmacy are a bunch of clumsy inefficient workers. The fact that they are responsible for peoples lives, still isnt enough for them to take their jobs seriously. Train your staff, period. Im so sick with the incompetence already. The workers at the pick-up window always move like its their first day on the job. The pharmacist is always too busy, because the staff lacks the ability to answer basic questions. You could save customers the extra trip for nothing, if you just pick up the phone. Im done with Walgreens. Im going back to Target.
Blanche, the store Manager at this location was extremely aggressive, disrespectful and unprofessional. She snatched the receipt out of my hand and kept yelling at me because I questioned the basis of her denial to my return with a receipt for a product I recently purchased that burned my face. This is not someone that should be employed by Walgreens, let alone represent them in a management position. I will never come back to this location again because of her actions.
Spanish cashier with glasses is weird and immature. Very unprofessional. Also, i went to the photo section and told the lady (whos light skinned and short) that Ive ordered a canvas online and she said they ran out and she just left. Like I was still standing there and she just left without helping me more about it.
I’ve been shopping at this particular Walgreens since it opened and have been there with my wife many times over the years... I never complain about the long lines because going to this store is convenient for me, however today I went to pick up a couple cases of beer and they refused to sell them to me because my wife didn’t have her ID on her... I am 35 years old and my wife is 32. I had my ID because I was the person paying for the beer, why would 2 married adults need to both show ID to buy beer? Whatever the ladies name was made me feel like I was doing something wrong trying to buy the beer. It was truly embarrassing. I was treated like some underage child trying to sneak around a buy alcohol, and even worse my wife was embarrassed because she was put on the spot. I even let another customer go in front of me while I patiently waited for the “code 21” before this happened, and this is the thanks I get. I can see that my time shopping at this location has come to an end. It’s a shame because like I said earlier it’s very convenient and I have shopped their multiple times a week since this location opened.
I am very disappointed at this store on South Broadway, Yonkers NY. My son wanted to use the bathroom and was denied. They had the excuse that they were out of service. However, My wife demanded to see the bathrooms and they were properly working. I believe they are racist as we speak Spanish. It is such a shame that Walgreens denies the use of bathrooms.
Blanche was completely un professional! She cursed at a customer when the customer who was trying to get another employees attention didnt realize that the employee was wearing hearing aids, as the young lady turned around The customer apologized and blanch began to curse out loud. When I told her myself she was being extremely unprofessional she began to get loud with me telling me oh well i was speaking to myself! This employee was completely out of line!!
Literally waited on the phone for more than an hour on two back to back calls only to be hung up on by their pharmacy staff. Their management and corporate offices don’t care. Sad to have to be forced to another company because of their shared customer service traits.
Horrible customer service! I ordered pictures online And received a confirmation I went to the store for pick up and and the pictures were never printed the manager was very rude and not helpful. When I reordered the pictures in the store they came out bad quality. 100% prefer the Walgreens on yonkers Ave!
I just had a terrible experience today, we were ready to pay and approached the counter the only person that was there was an old lady ready to pay for her milk and cereal, I looked around and I found two employees a woman that seem to be the manager and another guy, I asked if it was possible for them to bring us up and they both said no the only counter available is the one at the photo kiosk. I told the old lady that the counter was closed and she should go to the photo kiosk. We proceed to the photo kiosk. There was more people waiting there and one of the gentlemens had an issue that could not be sold quickly. While we were waiting the guy who told me to go to the photo kiosk open up another line. I thought he was going to call the next customer on line first, but he just started to ring up new customers.I felt so bad for the old lady because I was the one who told her to move to the other line.I felt unvalued as a customer and walk out, but before I told the guy that he was supposed to take the next customer that was waiting on like, not na new customer and he said No I wasnt and he started laughing I just walked out.
I was dying ,I felt that my blood pressure is so high and was near walgreen,so I said I m so lucky Im near a pharmacy but unfortunately they do t have the machine for the public and the technician ( short lady) told her assistant dont take her blood perssure,we have a lot customer waiting ,just tell her our machine is broken,I was very mad and nervous , so frustrated, it s not my first bed experience with them ,since I live near,and was a regular customer and patient there

2022-01-24This place really needs to get it together. They have a rude employee in the pharmacy and the Covid precautions are careless. No one seems to keep items stocked and the line for purchases always seems to be long with one person at the register.My experiences there in just a month seems to have fallen off. The Pharmacy is a guessing game if the have your prescription or even open. Everyone I know has had notices from the Walgreens app to pickup and the pharmacy always has an excuse why they don’t.My family and I are tired of this location. They need to have accountability to their neighborhood to provide the medication they need.

2022-05-04I would have put zero star is I could. I have been using Walgreens for a long time. This time I could not get my medicine for a week after the Dr sent in the script. A little toooo long. They forgot to make it up even when I kept calling the. Today I picked it up the pharmacist is very very nasty. Charged me more than I pay. When I questioned her she was nasty yelling at me. Then I found out she never put it through my insurance. If you go there you are crazy. I will be calling the main office on her tomorrow.

2022-06-18This has got to be the worst Walgreens I’ve been to. I came to pick up a prescription with a family member the other day and it was a mess. There is no communication from the pharmacy to the customer. We arrived and noticed the pharmacy was closed because there was no pharmacist! They told us we needed to drive out to another Walgreens pharmacy to get the prescription when this location is our primary location.

2022-01-03Tried to be courteous to call the pharmacy to let them know Im sick and would reschedule my booster vaccine. But being on hold for about 20 mins then get hung up on is not a good look. Taking my business and my health elsewhere.

2022-01-15The major problem here is the understaffed pharmacy. Theyve been closed for over 50% of the days last week, and some of the employees are rude as all hell. What if someone had to pick up meds from this pharm that had their life depending on it? As I sit here with my 73 year old father needing antibiotics for an infection on his face, I wonder to myself how corporate lets this horrendous operation of a pharmacy keep running the way it is. Really hoping by the grace of god that they can fix their s**t considering they have a very long track record of 1-star and 2-star reviews which, for the most part, correlate to their BAD pharmacy. Stay away at all costs!

Their excuse is that I have a pharmacist on duty so they’re just keeping it close now what’s going to happen to the prescriptions that those are really urgently needed I guess they don’t care I hope the corporate are reading these comments

2021-04-27Worst Customer Service at the Pharmacy. I remember during the beginning of the pandemic, I needed assistance with a prescription and the male manager was an absolutely rude and unprofessional towards me over the phone. Might I had been there in person the outcome would have been much different.Nevertheless they lost a customer after this time. I also contacted the corporate office and of course nothing was done. CVS is so much better.

2021-05-22There is always an issue with the pharmacy. The automated system doesn’t go through to them for refills. Knowing this I have resorted over the years to call and speak to someone in the pharmacy to make sure my prescriptions are filled and will be ready for pick-up. Well in the last several months that hasn’t worked either. I’m always told there will be a 30 minute wait while it’s filled when I get to the register to pick it up. I will be putting in a complaint to corporate. And now is stead of waiting I’ll use that time to drive to the store a little further. Disappointing!

2021-05-12I went to Walgreens to get something for my son to shave, there was NO ONE around to assist, everyone was busy they need more people working there as this isnt acceptable! We ALL have stuff to do but consider the fact that w/out customers you DONT have a business!
