Walmart auto center town of Amelia if you need tires that is a place to go there are the number one tire sales that I know of in this Northern country for new tires for very very reasonable price make appointments or stop in to order your tires and Ill set up appointment for you you might get lucky and get in and out oil change included very good place make appointments if its necessary weekends to you have a great day this is mr. Vern
Waited an hour and a half for tires to be mounted on my vehicle, only to find out they “declined to mount them” because of a sticky lug nut. Wasn’t told this until I already paid for the warranty, and then had to go back and get refunded since the work wasn’t done. Will never buy tires here again.
Called BUT, unfortunately they do NOT do vehicle inspections.
I’ve used Walmart Auto Shop back at home in South Carolina and I always received amazing result. I recently got my tires balanced and rotated and it is the worst!! My tires were recently aligned at the Honda dealership and my car was driving perfectly but I decided to use my lifetime balance and rotate. This was the second time I went to them for a balance and rotate and it will be the LAST
Bought tires 2 times there in the last year and service was terrible both times. Had to make several extra trips waiting gas and time. I still have to go back to give them another attempt at balancing tires but putting up with shaking for now vs. Waiting for hours while they work on them....
Had my last oil change done here then went to change my oil now and the filter was put on so tight it couldn’t be unscrewed with a wrench, filter got destroyed trying to get it off now has to be cut off
Just your average Wal-Mart Auto Center. Took the car there for an oil change, checking in went well and they told us it would be 30-45 minutes. After walking around and shopping for a little over an hour we thought we would go check and see how much longer as we had not been paged yet. After getting to the desk and asking, we were informed that the car was done and ready to go, they had already parked it back outside and everything. As far as the services provided, everything seemed to be performed well and complete.
I had zero issues here getting new tires and an oil change. Fairly priced, they helped me find an American-made tire, put them on, changed my oil, and had all of it done in about an hour. They dont take appointments though so figure that out.
I wish I could give zero stars. They showed horrible customer service. We dropped our car off and went grocery shopping and when we went back to get the car they were closed without notifying us they were leaving. Had to go wait over 30 mins for someone to figure out how to check us out. Will never come here again.
This place is RIDICULOUS! $20 and 3 1/2 hours to mount and balance 1 tire. The service writers are idiots and the policies are the dumbest Ive ever heard of. I seen the supervisor tell a customer that they couldnt repair a tire because the hole was in the sidewall. It was literally in a tread block no where near the sidewall. I repaired it for the gentleman in the parking lot for free. Stay away from these morons! Oh and watch out with your oil changes. Ive never seen so many people with cross threaded drain plugs as Ive seen from Wal-Mart oil changes.
I have never had a problem with this place in the past 3 years, and I think I never will. I can come here any weekend morning, Drop my car off go shopping for things I have no business buying, Get a snack, And get my car rather quick. If I had any complaint is that my wind show wiper fluid is not topped off. But then again I should probably stop drinking the stuff directly from the source
Had to wait five hours to get four tires on and in return got a Stripped Lug nut because they just use impact guns.
I brought my car in for a simple oil change and they scratched the paint right in front of me. Twice. And then I had to haggle the customer service manager for a free oil change! Took over 2.5 hours to get my back!
Some days you can go in and get stuff done right off. Others well... not so much. Then there are the days you stand at the counter while the manager pretends to be doing something when in all truth said manager is doing Nothing!! The techs meanwhile have taken care of 2 customers before said manager finally looks up and decides to cash out 1 customer. Stuff like that really makes me upset. 20-25 minutes later we can finally speak to someone about the appt we made for the Warranted tire to be fixed!!
Took I single tire here to get fixed and I had the road hazard warranty on them but it took 3 hours to plug a tire, then when I come back to get the tire put back on my car ( driving on my spare) they say it will be another 2 hours. This is by far the worst place to come to get anything done on your vehicle. I have the warranty on my tires but next time I will be using a different business to repair my tires!!!
They are really helpful getting the right tires for my car and the prices are reasonable. They are quick to get your car to put new tires on also!
I needed a tire, they had a tire. It fit was pretty well priced and convenient.
A young Lady associate there went above and beyond to help me find what. I was looking for and she used her own phone to help me find the gas cap I needed cant say muck for the lady at the Auto counter I only regret not getting the help ful Assoc. Name but the Assistant Manager at the Auto counter does she could take a lesson from the young associate
What kind of shameful embarrassment of a shop can’t make appointments. I shouldn’t have to be forced to hang out at Walmart for the day hoping my car tires will get changed. I’m going to go elsewhere until Walmart can get an appointment book and be a little more organized
Not sure this is a fair rating as all I did was buy a car battery, but the people here are always helpful and familiar with their store items
Waited 4 hours to have the oil changed in vehicle. It was inside the shop the entire 4 hours.Please care more about customers and possibly be willing to accept appointments Walmart.
I took them 4 and a half hours to install my tires even though I had an appointment, and then replaced the wrong tire after I explained exactly what tires were to be replaced. Horrible service
They were really quick despite it being kinda busy, also really polite and helpful. They didnt try to sell me things i didnt need.
I didnt need an appointment for an oil change plus it gave me the opportunity to do some shopping while I eaited.
Seems like I can never get my vehicle in for oil change its always the same excuse we had a new tech so we stop taking work at 5. But sign says yall close at 6.... This is the 3rd time
2 and 1/2 hour wait to get in for an oil change? And no appointments, walk-in only. They obviously dont take the service seriously if they dont staff it properly. Where the eff do they have quick-lube service in this freaking town??

Came in on a Tuesday night to get a battery tested. Was told 30 min. Went a did some shopping, came back an hour later and was told my vehicle hadnt even been started yet.Wound up waiting over 2 hours past the time I was told the vehicle would be ready.
I came in with a crack in the tread of my tire. I knew where the crack was and told them, but they insisted that tire just slacked off of the rim. I left and within 20 minutes my tire was flat again. Maybe you can listen to what I say when I tell you what is wrong. April 4, 2017
WOORRRRRST CUSTOMER SERVICE. THEY DONT PICKUP PHONE CALLS. THE HELP DESK IS ALWAYS EMPTY MOST OF THE TIME. I WAS WAITING FOR 17 MIN BEFORE SOMEONE SHOWS UP. I DROPPED MY CAR THERE AT 12PM FOR TIRE CHANGE AND THEY NEVER CALLED ME BACK TILL I CALLED THEM AT 4PM AND THEY NEVER PICKUP TILL 10 MIN LATER. WOOW WHO ARE THESE PEOPLE????
Had good oil change today. Staff was helpful to suggest type of oil and oil filter. Took only 30 minutes to change.
The cashier at the desk is completely clueless, manager was rude, too lazy to even put the doughnut tire back in my car after spending 400$ on new tires.
The Walmart auto clerk advised me AutoZone down the street could tell me what kind of antifreeze my sons Nissan took because he didnt know for sure and I could buy it at AutoZone?
Walked around for 10 to 15 minutes looking at tires I motion to the guy to come to me took care of my purchase answered all questions with 5 minutes greatly appreciated in and out the door

2022-06-16Don’t even bother coming in here. They are absolute worst and have no empathy to work with you or to help you out. New managers are pure narcissistic. Previous mechanic and mngs used to work with my car and they had zero issues. Now new ones turned me down after 2 hours of waiting because of slightly broken dipstick. I explained to them that I did what I could to find a new dipstick but since my car is older model they don’t make them anymore. They said they don’t really care even though I was getting oil changed for a year at their shop, even though I told them I was going to road-trip soon and it’s for my own safety that oil is changed. WHAT a shame Walmart treating service members like that. Never again.

2022-06-04Talked to a mechanic over the phone who told me to bring in my car battery so he could scan it and see which type I needed. I lugged it in- theyre heavy as hell- and watched him look it up in a book instead! I asked him if he didnt need to scan my battery and he ignored me, then led me to Walmarts batteries. Im going to order offline and go somewhere else next time because of the disrespectful attitude of the mechanics here. The only reason he got two stars is because he named the correct battery type.

2021-09-14If I could give zero stars I would. I arrived at 6:50 a.m. and was told as soon as they opened at 7 am that they couldnt start taking customers because they didnt have the required 2 techs available to start working. Apparently, the other guy who was suppose to be showing up at 7 am has been calling in to work because he got another job. Then, when I asked what the time line looked like I was told the other guy would probably be coming in at 8 am, 9 at the lastest. So Im suppose to wait up to 2 hours to probably get my oil changed. No thank you. Dont waste your time or money here. This establishment does not care about either of these.

2021-05-03I have had an oil change here once and it was ok beside the 2 hour wait with on person a head of me who car was already being worked on for an oil change as well. My problem with the auto center is no one ever answer the phone. Spent 10 minutes waiting and had the lady who redirected me to the auto center asking every 2 mins asking are you still waiting. I will page them to answer. How do you not answer a phone if they paged you 4 times.

2020-11-22They told me my tire was unfixable. All I needed was a patch but they said that I needed a new tire altogether. They asked if I wanted my old tire back or not and I said that I did. I wanted to look at it. Well guess what? They lied. I saw my old tire had a screw that couldve been patch. Next time I will see thoroughly and save some money. Lesson learned.

2019-10-31They have really improved the waiting area for service. Thats great as the wait is usually lengthy. I was first in this morning but still took 2 hours for oil change and tire repair/rotation. Desk personnel did give status updates and all staff were very pleasant. I recommend this place for drop off / pick up later service or if you have shopping to do. If not, bring some entertainment!
