Im a truck driver i delivered too many Walmarts this is a top-tier Walmart for sure has a very modern look and still the same prices as you would see at other Walmarts across the country and that is amazing for especially where the location is and the cost of living out here
This Walmart location has been declining since they opened. Low stock, poor selection, more low quality items than quality food items. If youre looking for cheap and dont care at all about quality youll probably be fine shopping here. They really let the store go since they opened.
This place has great prices and is never busy. Its almost like everybody wants to go to Stop and Shop at King Kullen, and nobody goes to the Walmart Marketplace. Place is near empty, there were plenty of registers open, tons of self-check available, and the prices were great. Its pretty much Walmart in a supermarket, the only weird thing was down at any given side theres about a hundred security cameras... No joke. I dont know if they have a shoplifting problem but I guess putting a camera every 12 inches mightve rectified it?
New Year’s Day. I went into Walmart Neighborhood Market to purchase 9 items. As I was leaving there was a gentleman standing near the exit door facing the produce section. As I am exiting he states sarcastically what you have no receipt. I was shocked by the rude comment, because if I new he was checking receipts I would have given him my receipt. I told him all you had to do was ask and I showed him my receipt, which he barely glanced at.A bit of advise Walmart Neighborhood Market maybe if you stop having people with over filling shopping cart check out at self-checking you would not have to check for stolen items. Also, paying customer would not have to deal with rude employees.
WORST EXPERIENCEThe card chip reader didnt work I wasted 15 minutes trying to do it and it didnt work. I had to leave my stuff so I can pay with the little amount of cash I had for some things. My card wouldnt go through and the cashier was no help. Everyone who was in front of me had the same problem.
This market is one of the nastiest places I have been and staff could care less. We first shopped the produce and found half the stuff was expired from the week before (dated on the bag) went to the dairy area and found not 1 not 2 but a whole shelf of molded cheese that was just being pushed to the back for new product to be added. Went to the deli and a worker was sweeping the area, my wife stood there for 10mins while the worker kept looking, she finally asked do you need something, my wife said yes and the worker kept sweeping till she was done and then come over to her and said what....didnt wash her hands, dont change gloves nothing! By this time we left our stuff and asked for a manger (who didnt seem concerned and said he doesnt thing the cheese was there that long...Im not formula with Organic but unless they were trying to grow more produce it was GREEN!
I come as much as I can!!!! I love it!!! My #1 Go-to place for food shopping. I love the hours(Im a total night girl). I dont understand how a place like this doesnt have 5 stars. I read other reviews that people are bothered that at certain hours there are no cashiers, only self-checkout. I use self whenever I can, and the machines have a lot less issues that other supermarketss self-checkout. The bottle return is also very good. Sometimes the machines dont work, but there are bins to put them in near customer service. You just tell them the number of bottles/cans/glass and they give you the cash. Easy-peasy. The prices are much lower than you can get anywhere else. I usually get the opposite of sticker shock. I get sticker shock when I go to a typical supermarket after going to Walmart. As if the low, low, low prices arent good enough, the Savings Catcher is great. If there is a lower price advertised that Walmarts, you get the difference either on a Bluebird American Express Debit Card or a Walmart Gift Card. It used to be you get double on the Bluebird card, but that is no longer. The times I go(ie: 2-4am), the staff is usually stocking, but they are very nice and accommodating, very willing to move things and never grumble. There is one female stocker that does the sauce section, and she always recognizes me and says Hello. There was one time that I couldnt find my sauce and she stopped what she was stocking to help me look. They were out of my sauce, but she said that she would keep and eye out for them for next time I am there because I come basically every week. The bakery is awesome too. The cookies, muffins, French bread is so good. Plus this is the only place where you can get Pecan Pie year-round.Basically whether you are coming for a few things or your weeks groceries, this is a great place to shop.
Its so close to my job so I stop in quite frequently. Its so cheap so its amazing when youre on a budget and when I forget to bring lunch I can just run in there and get something quick which I like. The salads and sandwiches they put out each day are always fresh never had an issue. It can get super busy in there but its a grocery store so cant really expect anything else but the workers try their best to keep lines moving and the flow going. The only thing is sometimes the fruits arent always the best its hit or miss like yesterday they just got shipments in so it was good but whatever overall I love this place. Thank you
Update: while I would still recommend this store for groceries or a bit more, the prices lately have jumped quite high! Yes, I understand about inflation everywhere right now. It just seems that the prices here have changed more drastically than in other supermarkets. And the stock is limited. Which, again, is probably happening all over. At this point if youre looking to save a few bucks Id recommend Lidl, or possibly Aldi. If you are not familiar with those stores, type them into your favorite search engine.
I like going to this Wal-Mart to shop for my groceries because the one thats close to me (Farmingdale) is truly incompetent. The shelves are stocked, its clean, the registers are open and the employees are pleasant. This Wal-Mart Neighborhood Market is one of the better ones in the area.
Their return policy is a lie. Although the screen on the wall clearly states that items are returnable with or without a receipt, they would not accept the return of peanut butter that I found I did not need. i had a receipt, but they claimed the item was not on that receipt. They also said their return policy had changed and it could only be exchanged for the exact item. Well excuse me I dont want this item. Also be aware their cheese goes bad long before the use by date.
Waste of time prices are no lower than most supermarkets ,staff are un caring ,store is poorly stocked , what they have is constantly moved from one area to another seems like wherever the u boat of stock Id stopped thats where the stock is put on the shelf regardless of where it should go. Only correctly stocked shelves are the ones vendors stock.
Walmart’s Grocery prices have become outrageous. You got to be kidding me with your prices in the last few months. Groceries in Lidl are half your prices. Most prices on shelves are not accurate when you go to pay the price is higher. You lost me and many others as your customers.
What is upsetting is that I paid for the Walmart plus and they in still standing on self check out while the scan and go self check out it roped off. Whats the purpose in paying $100 and I still have to wait in line behind 5 people. Very disappointing. I wont renew until they open up that register. @ (Levittown neighborhood market)
Lines are too long and check out unorganized. No shopping carts available. Literally have to follow exiting customers to their cars to get their cart. Too many shoppers in the store at one time. Forget about social distancing, its non-existent here. Better off going elsewhere as the savings arent worth the aggravation.
When in at 7:30 PM. Bought 8 items. There is no express checkout. On the self check out there was a lady with 3 filled shopping carts. Not one employee said anything. I feel there should be a limit of how much a person can checkout in self checkout. I stood on line for 20 minutes. All line were at least 10 people long. Walmart only had 2 registers open and 4 self checkout registers. They clearly do not care for their customers or they would have open more registers open on a Friday night. In total for self checkout and regular registers there were 60/70 (stop counting) people waiting to checkout. I went to customer service to see if I could checkout there because sometimes stores allow that. Surprise customer service was closed. So I just left my order and went to another store. Shopping here is not worth the headache. THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS.
Does the camera love you? Just look up! Mr. Walton, Im ready for my close-up.☺️ The store is well stocked and has taken COVID protocols seriously from the very beginning of reopening. Helpful staff who seem to constantly be stocking and restocking. Best barcode scanner I have EVER seen at a checkout, plus a handheld scanner for big packages. Sadly, the closed restaurant and stores in the plaza mean easier parking ☹️
Honestly managed to get all my items very quickly. But unfortunately due to the was check out is set up. It took almost 25 minutes waiting in line to check out.The waiting was horrendous and many people angry due to the waiting.Ice cream melted.Honestly what made the visit great was the great personality of the cashier. She was absolutely very professional and polite. Her name was Gloria and all your Cashiers should have her personality.
This market is almost dedicated to strictly food. While there are a few other things you can find here like cleaning supplies and dog toys, the focus is on food unlike their supercenters. Equipped with a pharmacy and a deli counter, those are the only services here. Shelves stocked with great value (Walmart brand) as well as ample selections of other brands. I love that you can use the app within the store to find things by aisle. Using the app however does not fix all as the in stock amount listed is not always updated. For most items, the prices are competitive or even cheap, no coupons necessary. Produce however is hit or miss with value and some items are sold as packages, like 2 pound bags of oranges. Sometimes you just want 1. Fish is vacuum packed mostly. Most meats are choice grade. Their rotisserie chickens are somewhat smaller than wholesale clubs and other supermarkets. There are normally ample amounts of register people to check you out. Where this store falls short is shopping carts. They dont always round up the carts, and there are no carts in the store. Sometimes you need to walk around the parking lot looking for one and this is not so pleasant in the rain or freezing cold. There seems to be a shortage of them as well. The store overall is relatively clean. Aisles are adequately spaced. There is also ample parking.
Customer service manager “Will” plucks me off a line I was standing in and next for to tell me I was in the wrong place. The disrespect continued thereafter. That’s a Manager? I’ve been shopping here every Saturday for years. I come in on a Sunday and it was night and day. Next step is probably the store manager and a conversation since I’m STILL on line as I type this.Horrible customer service from one person can ruin my weekly 200-300 dollars of revenue. The rest of the store is fantastic and I see and get greeted by many of the associates each weekend while shopping.Hopefully WILL was just having a bad day. Luckily, I’m old enough to keep my cool even after being told “You don’t sign my paycheck”.I’m SURE there are better candidates with a much better demeanor for this important position.Looking forward to next Saturday.Oh, did I mention we drive almost 40 miles round trip? Lol.Great job Will. Inclement weather approaching may curtail my visits after this experience. Plenty of shopping near home.
Visited Levittown NY Walmart Neighborhood Market one hour ago. I had to follow a shopper for a cart in the parking lot-there were no carts in the cartholder area. The checkout area was a disaster - lines and lines of people and no one knew which line was which- definitely need a traffic director when it gets this crowded. The usual cashiers 1 and 2 were closed. Cashier 3 (or 4 ?) was open with a line of about 15 people. Self check lines were just was bad. Disgraceful.
Really really bad customer service honestly. I been using them for my pharmacy for years, I work late, and I was trying to make it before they closed. I called and stated I was almost there , I got no effort in saying no problem we can wait 1 extra minute, no nothing. Cold dry we close @7. Well I was in @658 and the gates were closed. It was a serious need for my medications, definitely changing. Even called a manager to get help and she could care less.
Great prices, nice store. When are they going to open another one! The old waldbaums on jericho tpk and Herricks rd would be a good spot. I can fill my cart for $50 - $100 less than if I went to a different place. Go if you like to save money.I think this may be my first 5 star review 😯It waa a good day at both Walmart today!
I came here to use a gift card that I got for $50 on groceries. I went to self check out and the card would not scan I called for assistance and an associate by the name of Carlos came over tried to plug it in manually and couldnt. When I asked of we can get a manager he said he was the manager which I dought. He said that he would have to ring me up on his system and than he can enter the gift card in I said no because I have $60 worth of groceries already scanned and bagged. I figured I would make another trip and just go to a cashier to check me out. One week later I went t back and did just that but than it would go through again and she brought someone else over for assistance and they told me that there is no way of manually entering it in that it changed a month ago. I spent so much money and was never able to use my gift card. It is unbelievable how your system can enter a gift card in manually plus not even all the associates are aware on what going on.
This is the grocery.store version of Walmart. Food, drink and paper goods are abundant here. Brand names as well Walmart house brand are available. The store is often very crowded and busy especially during peak hours. Good prices on most products. Health and beauty section has a decent amount of products for hair and skin care. They have a small deli section for fresh cold cuts. There is a lottery machine here and Western Union location as well. This store also is a pickup location for online Walmart purchases. The checkout lines can be very long at times. This store is conveniently located between Jerusalem Avenue and Hempstead Turnpike. This location has an ample parking lot and is surrounded by other stores in a mini shopping center.
First it was too crowded. Then it was stocking night so isles where full of carts full of inventory. Thats annoying but OK. But then hardly any registers open. Too many self check outs where everything goes wrong. Waited on line for a half hour. Need more cashiers and less self check outs. They take too long.
Convenient, well stocked, and inexpensive, but I liked it better when it was open 24 hours. Checkout is pretty quick and theres enough registers so the wait usually isnt too bad during the peak hours. Renovations are coming along nicely as well and the new self checkout machines are an improvement over the old ones- they dont freeze up and the belt works on all of them.
One of the most updated Walmarts there is. The corporation loves to toy and experiment with this Walmart and somehow it eventually ends up turning out great. Need a couple more cashiers not every single one can be self checkout but other than that this all food walmart has the best prices around.
They had toilet paper and paper towels No Lysol spray or wipes. Had lots of bread, soda, beer, milk juice, beef, some chicken and seafood. Was there near closing time of 10:00 pm. It is best to get there early in the day as they restock shelves and thoroughly clean the store.
Very rude and nasty customer service managers at the front end of the store such as Will and Tykeia. They have horrible attitudes and should not work in customer service if they plan on treating customers this way. Other than these 2, the rest of the associates are very helpful and pleasant. The prices are also decent
Since adding all the new self checkout lines oh, the time spent checking out is much shorter. Excellent prices. Selection is sometimes Limited and sometimes they are out of a particular product for a few days. Usually very clean. It gets - 1 * because there is product piled up in the aisles constantly
They used to be great. Now they are mediocre on their best day. The prices have gone up and more times than not, I end up making a wasted trip because the app will say they are stocked with my list but nothing is on the shelves. When you ask someone that works there, you get different answers depending on who you ask. Most times the product is in the back on a pallet they havent yet touched but they will tell you its out of stock because they dont have the manpower to unload it. This is very frustrating.Today I had to use the bottle return and it was full. I went to the customer service desk and waited about 10 minutes being next in line. The girl assisting the customer in front of me, walked away, nowhere to be found. The guy working the lottery machine assisted me and told me he cant take the bottles from me because he has no place to put them and that I would have to wait by the bottle return machine outside in the cold until they are serviced. I asked to speak with a manager and she told me the same thing, came off as cold and uncaring. I asked who was her manager and she said she was it for today, nobody above her. Im so disgusted with the way this was handled. What happened to common sense? They will take the bottles if the machine is broken, they could have made an exception here. This is not the way you do business. Shame on you Walmart.
I really like coming here especially since they updated their registers and made more room all around. The prices are better here than anywhere else. I just don’t buy meat here its a bit on the expensive side. They’re are hit or miss on some items and the bottle machines are Always an issue so I took a star off for that. The Customer Service reps that are in front of the register are usually nice. But the Customer Service reps over to the side are not a happy bunch seems like. I have only dealt with them for negative things such as that darn machine not being able to be used to get a Patric nickel back but hey that is an issue that should be addressed the evening before when you close so that the first people in don’t have to come to CS and complain about it. The managers always seem to be somewhere else and when you ask to see one they take a year and a day to get upfront. Other than those annoying things its a great supermarket with nice cashiers and roomy.
I come here once a week is worth the travel, they have affordable prices and dont be fooled by the lines the actually move pretty fast although I do recommend going on a weekday, its easier to get around in there but always fully stock and have fresh fruits and vegetables.
Cheap prices for selected items but selection is limited. This is a supposed to be an experimental store (?). Frankly, the silly fake computer wall with fake (ancient) tape drives to make the store appear high tech is absurd. The recycling machines are always broken/full and there doesnt seem to be any rush to empty/fix them. Usually better than dealing with a full service Walmart if all you need is a few food items.
They no longer accept electronic payments other than their in-house versions. No Samsung pay that Ive used there for the past 5 years. My job effects the magnetic strip on credit cards so Im always replacing them.. so using Samsung pay in the easiest way to pay for me.No longer shopping here.
The only thing that Walmart Neighborhood Market has to offer is good everyday value on most of its products. This store happens to be in my neighborhood and that is why I shop there. Unfortunately it draws many from other distant areas, and there goes the neighborhood.... market. The management of the store is abhorrent, as every time Im in there, there are workers with things that they could be doing, standing around doing nothing, ie; directing lines at the registers instead of the uncertainty of if someone in another aisle is thinking of going to the register that you are waiting for in your aisle. The only way you get assistance in this store is if you yell at or pull an employee to do what needs to get done.
I only shop here for my weekly groceries. It has everything I need for my family. Unfortunately, since the pandemic people buy things that they never purchased in the past like some vegetables and eggs, for example, that I have to come back another day, but it is ok. There are other markets but they are a bit pricey and I dont need to say I shop there like what other people say. You pay more not me. The staff also at WalMart are very helpful and friendly. I will continue shopping there and saving.
The variety and prices are great! I love going here since prices are low everyday, you really dont have to wait for a sale. Most of the day they have 1 or 2 cashiers because self checkout is most popular and encouraged. But if you have any trouble there is always someone to help.***handicap accessibility. They have two mobility scooters. Always charged and ready to go. Staff is always friendly to help you with retrieving one. The bathrooms are easy access for handicap as well (no heavy main doors to open). The selves are a bit tall if youre in a scooter or wheelchair but staff members are always around to grab whatever you need on the top selves.
Do yourself a favor, just dont go.Empty shelves, and when they are stocking, the employees block the aisles and get upset with you try and get by.The employees who direct you to the registers are rude, use foul language, and when you complain to the manager about it, they have the audacity to yell at you.
This isnt a Walmart. Well, not your regular Walmart. It is a supermarket. Not large either, but it basically is like the supermarket aspect of a Super Walmart. Good deals, weird cameras everywhere, hundreds of them. The customers? Well, picture the usual Walmart crowd. This store is right across from the somewhat-new Levittown Home Depot. Convenient.
As much as I like to shop here because of the prices and the amount of options they have, I was turned off by their customer service. I had to make an exchange and when I when I walked up to the register the lady gave me a dirty look. I asked her if she was open and she didnt answer me. I assumed she was being bothered by my presence so I asked if I should go to the next register and she said Just give it to me She gave me an attitude while making my exchange. She looked at the other lady at the next register and with an aggressive tone she said shell never get her work done. I told her thank you and I appreciate it and she didnt even respond. Its not even about me being a customer. You dont treat a human being like that. I couldve easily lost my cool from the energy she was giving off but I kept my cool and realize everybody has a bad day. Because of this I rather pay a little extra and shop at Target. Amazing how one persons lousy personality can ruin your experience somewhere. Unprofessional.
I live less than half a mile away from this location, so it seemed to be convenient. However, the last two visits were just met with disappointment. The shelves were bare of produce. It seemed like people were getting ready for a major holiday but this was still mid October and early november. So it appears to me that nobody is in charge of restocking. I will drive a little further to get the produce I need at the local supermarket instead. On a good note, the employees seem to be very nice and helpful.
This is an excellent store let me start by saying the workers are awesome specially Kadian, George, Alex, Luis. I shop there most of the time and ask them questions and always respond with a great attitude. They have walmart brands with excellent prices. Excellent parking and self checkouts. No more cigarettes thought but its ok. You will find lysol and alcohol in the mornings when the store opens. One per customer still. Theres toilet paper and water all the time i go there. No clothes and electronics because is a supermarket. I will definitely will miss going there since i move to florida. You guys wont be disappointed.
It is so nice to go inside a clean place and constantly seeing the workers restocking up.The employers/customer reps are professional , always greeting you with a smile, and lending you a helping hand. When I first went to them they use to be opened 24 hours. Now over the years they changed the hour to 12pm and within that timeframe they have also did more remodeling.I am a very happy and satisfied customer who enjoys spending my time there shopping. Keep up the great work Walmart. Hands up to the entire staff who work tireless hours. You all continue to be that special individual who works hard, and enjoys what they do.
This place started out pretty good. It is sad how much this place has gone downhill. Shelves are rarely stocked. None of the employees really seem to care whether this place stays in business or not. Prices have gone up on things that used to be reasonable, but only here, not in other stores. Unless you just need a couple of things real quick, I wouldnt even shop here anymore; and as a matter of fact, I dont shop here anymore.
If you are into tech, this can be a cool walmart to visit. There is no less than 400 cameras watching you - and thats a low estimate. The place is setup to watch people and try to figure stuff about how they shop (presemably to get them to buy more stuff, or particular stuff). IF you are paranoid, this is NOT the palce for you. If you go inside and go to the far left, you can see their server room. Thats a LOT of tech!
Store itself is ok, customer service not so much. When I was at checkout there was one person scanning, another bagging. I started to help bag so they dont have to do all of it and that person got upset and stopped bagging altogether. Kept complaining to the cashier During my entire checkout process. Very poor response to someone helping lessen your workload.....
The store was well lit and surprisely empty when i went. The shelves were well stocked and there was a huge variety of products to choose from. The prices were cheaper but not by much. There werent too many employees walking around assisting costumers. I would definitely recommend this place to shop.
Sucks they are no longer 24 hrs. I usually travel 20 miles to go to this one cause after work i needed to get a few things and this one being 24 hrs was great but now i guess i can just go the one closer to me the next day instead of traveling to this one for quick overnight shopping. Also so many people came when it was close all those potential customers you are losing for changing your hours 🤷🏽♀️🤷🏽♀️
I love this walmart. I come from Medford to visit MY mom and we always go shopping there. Not only are all the workers helpful, but they all are so nice and have great personalities. I havent come across any bad apples in the bunch. Or should I say bananas? 😁 anyway, keep up the good work.
Great place for late night shopping, I only wish they were still open 24 hours. There is usually no wait due to numerous self-checkout areas, and even during peak hours Ive never waited on line for more than 10 minutes. The customers are generally nice as well and on several occasions someone has allowed me to cut in front of them when I only have one or two items. Large parts of the frozen food sections are usually empty or are filled with things no one buys, and I dont think the nail polish is ever restocked, its just colors no one wants and have been sitting there for ages. Im glad Im able to shop at this location because I like to see the machinery that houses the future AI overlord of the planet. My suggestions for improvement are to keep frozen foods stocked with the stuff that sells (does anyone actually buy the pineapple Digiorno or has all of that been there for years?) and build a body for the AI overlord so it can actively patrol the store and survey its subjects instead of creeping on everybody through the hundreds of cameras up and down each aisle. Also if its not too much trouble please stock peach Gold Peak ice tea and the Digiorno with bacon and pepperoni more often because Im usually not in the mood to cook and thats my go-to when all of the pizzerias are closed even though its not healthy.
LOVE the prices. Not so much the lines. No. Matter what time of day I go there is never enough people working or helping with the lines. If I do self checkout there is never anyone to help with problems. I had to go and find bags from another line because no workers were there to help. One guy working a register had to keep walking away from his line and customers to help people at self check. Not right
Fair Supermarket, prepared deli items prices are low but so is quality, dairy prices are good, other prices are comparable to regular store prices but not sale prices. Someone needs to train their deli people properly, I bought a prepared hero the meat was falling off the narrow end while there was no meat in the middle and the lettuce was the first few leaves that are normally discarded.
This used to be my favorite supermarket. However I noticed a change a week ago and it’s terribly disappointing. Twice in the last two weeks, shelves have not been stocked. Today I couldn’t get fresh garlic. It also appears they have change employees and not for the better. I almost got knocked down from two playfully chasing each other through the store, two others were bantering about who was going to pass who in the aisle first, and a couple others were eating pizza at the register while working. Today, there were no bags and no one said anything until you were up at the register getting rung up. When another customer asked for the manager, she was told that the manager was aware of the situation. She was also told that the employees couldn’t get trash bags or anything from the shelves because that’s store property. I’m not sure if it’s under new management but it’s a shame it has gone downhill so drastically.
I like this Walmart location because it is a supermarket with toiletry items and other goods. It is clean for the most part. The checkout lines are a challenge at times, even though it has the self-checkout option. Overall, Im glad that I can actually purchase fresh produce (fruits, veggies) here, unlike the Uniondale location.
This store has really changed from when it 1st opened. I just changed my 1 star to this 5 star. They redid the whole store and it looks great now, and it looks like they got rid of all the lazy workers. Everyone is nice, friendly and helpful. I also dont see that one stressed out looking manager who would be outside smoking all the time. Just one thing. This new system they have in place doesnt seem to be working the way walmart intended. The cameras are suppose to let walmart know when the items are out of stock but when i went there yesterday, i noticed a lot of out of stock items including 5 items i needed. Also, they do need to work on their fresh fruits, they go bad with 2 days. Hopefully this will soon be worked out. Im thinking they have the stock, they just havent put it out yet. Overall, Im impressed.
Great location, helpful staff, and variety of items. Great prices as well. There are rarely long lines or items not in stock which is very convenient and the staff are very nice and lead you to items you are looking for which is very helpful rather than telling you something like aisle 4 which isnt always helpful.
IS THIS A FULL SIZED WALMART?I looked for 2 hours for the electronics department and I couldnt find it. I wanted to buy a laptop.I walked in and it looked like a supermarket. No electronics department or any departments at all.It turns out, they have lots of nice food. Meat and cheese and pork. And all their milk is fresh . Pork smells nice in the containers. This pork smells like levittown.Instead of a laptop, I got fresh apples, fresh pork, and chicken liver, slow roasted. Plus, I drank milk here, and slept in the parking lot, 2 nights in a row.
I only loved it when it was 24/7. Now that it’s not, there’s nothing good about it anymore. This was the only Walmart in New York that was 24 hours. You got to go to New Jersey if you want that now. Which to me, makes no sense. Because NEW YORK is the city/state that never sleeps not NJ! What the heck walmart
A very bad experience. The checkout lines wound around the front of the store, blocking the flow of traffic. One cashier was open, and the rest were self service. After waiting 20 minutes, I returned the meat to the refrigerated section and left the wagon behind & left the store to redo my shopping at King Kullen.
Good prices much better then most supermarkets plus its pretty big with a great selection only gave em 4 stars cause the deli is hit or miss even being open let alone kind of unknown brands then most stores plus its tiny however there pre packed bakery items are well worth it..
I wish you could rate the store seperate from management. Store had everything we needed but management was very rude. As we were being checked out and placing things back in the cart the manager walked by and grabbed our already scanned waters as we were placing more down below and assumed we were hiding them from the checker and told the checker to scan them. We then had to take the time to go over the already scanned items with the checker to verify those were not new items. Very rude and unprofessional.
Many Thanks Walmart Neighborhood Market Crews. I love the place. one more advice. they should put some TV screen by the auto-checkout counter which educate the customer how to check out painlessly and efficiently can reduce the time for check out. The closest thing Long Island has to a Walmart supercenter. This is primarily a grocery store but they do have some seasonal household items. During covid-19, it is a little confusing to figure out where to line up to pay and check out. But Im sure that will resolve itself soon.
The store has improved drastically the prices on items are at readable levels as well the staff has improved.. well done who ever took it over....the new registers are the best....Good idea all these new factors that are improving so much better...pleasant shopping I asked a staff member where something was n he wasnt aware of it then a customer over heard us he directed us to the isle I was trying to tell him..then wham bam we found it...then the staff member extremely nice friendly showed me something...that makes my shopping time there alot easier to open the walmart market app n shows you where all the items are plus the isles they are in....love love thank you
Must check EXPIRY DATES.....Many very months expired or expiring within weeks. What use saving money on products, only to have to toss in garbage can before using it. Takes longer to shop our large orders flipping over every item. Resolution...manager wake up or lose many customers by continuing or word of mouth. Your local Walmarts never do this. We shop there all the time. No problem. It is your call..
Management is the worse! A group of people were there for the Patti Labelle pies.. When the young men who work the stock room decided to play games, the manager was called.. The manager WITHOUT checking said the pies are out of stock.. Whats the big deal about those pies. Firstly not your business.. YOUR business was to check and make sure the pies were out of stock.. As to those clowns you have working your stock room 👎🏾.. I didnt get his name and Im sorry, HOWEVER a nice young Spanish gentlemen went in the back and came out with not one but two boxes of the pies that were out of stock ridiculousness!! Once again to the young Spanish gentlemen.. Thank you.. Let me say once again, management and those two clowns 👎🏾...

2021-10-13Its a good supermarket. Prices for some products are lower compared to other spots. They do keep it pretty clean and stocked up. The water is usually what is gone depending on the time you go. Half of the cashier section is self checkout. Their produce section is not as versatile as other supermarkets. Its good for your basics

2022-03-11This location is good if you don’t need help from any employee. I use the self check out often and it’s fine. On multiple occasion I have had issues that would have been an easy fix, but the employees don’t do anything to help, and they’re also rude. So I only come here when I need to run in and out quick. If I have to talk to an employee, I end up leaving in a worse mood, so I just avoid them.

2021-04-05This store is Alot cleaner and quieter than other walmarts. Its only a grocery store but has a huge selection of groceries that you would not see in a regular super market along with interesting foreign grocery stuff. The Deli is small but the Aisle next to the deli has Alot of frozen selection. One of my faves would be the 120 slices pack of kraft american cheese for $8. I would recommend definitely taking a detailed browse through each aisle and checking it out.

2017-12-05Fresh fruits and vegetables at their lowest price. If you are looking for meat at reasonable rates, this is the place to get it.This store holds fruits, vegetables, packed meats, confectioners, chips ,frozen foods, bakery, dairy products and also daily use items like bounty rolls.I am big fan of the vegetables and meat of this place. The place remains less crowded and you can browse through items. Most importantly, the price are quiet reasonable.

2019-05-17This is hands down the best Walmart I’ve ever been to. Huge parking lot with an abundance of shopping carts. Amazing low prices, well-stocked shelves, and friendly store associates. The best thing about this Walmart is that lines are never long. Something you never see at the other stores.

2020-02-04This is not a regular Walmart Neighborhood Market. This is the first of its kind named the Walmart Intelligent Retail Lab or IRL for short. This is the busiest Walmart Neighborhood Market in the country. Let me start be saying I was not impressed by the renovations. Although the store has hundreds if not thousands of cameras throughout the store to monitor the inventory I still found empty shelves. Once upon a time this store was open 24hrs a day. As someone who works nights this was super convenient to stop by on my way home from work in the early mornings and purchase my groceries. That is no longer the case though.

2019-05-07The store as it stands is very good and has lots to offer, but from my perspective the main reason for the review is the new addition of a developing AI technology that has begun in this store. The Walmart IRL concept is an experimental system that is continually improving and learning within the store to make improvements on the shopping experience and I fully endorse this move. Some who are local to this store and somewhat uneducated about this new emerging technology believe its to replace the employees within the store or to spy on customers purchasing habits. Neither of which are true but since no one is willing to do the research on this new concept, I have written this review to reassure those who may have heard these claims. I do not work for Walmart and at times I will personally criticize their practices however this is one move by then right couldnt be happier about.

2021-03-31I recently visited this location. I will say that it is a nice store clean last Friday everything I went for I was able to find. The store was not crowded like other Walmart stores. Staff was friendly and helpful. I loved the self checkout.
