Better than the Albion location. Store looks well kept and for the most part, especially these days, the shelves are always stocked and looking full.
Its Walmart who doesnt like Walmart? lol. its a good store i like their toy section for the kids. They have quiete a bit of options compared to the rest. The only thing i dont like is they dont have a jewelry department.
They wouldnt give Me an exchange on some spoiled meat I bought because I lost My recite me. Im not going to let thisjust pass by .I want everyone to know about this. The meat was bad when I bought it.
Its a Walmart. Ya know. Its got the stuff ya need if you want to support giant corporations that utilize prison labor which isnt cool.
Typical Walmart with vast selections. Its a shame they hardly ever have actual attendants working the cash registers. 1 line maybe, and the self check out lines will usually say no cash transactions, so if you have cash youre forced to wait in the 1 long line. I also dont care for checking out my own items. If I wanted to work at Walmart I would. Hire some cashiers people. Dont make the customer do staff jobs while staff oversees us, then have your sentry at the door demanding to check receipts. Put them on a register and they wont need to guard the door. Very annoying and demeaning. Newer pharmacy staff, but still slow as heck. Shelves, as with many stores, can be bare at times
Who doesnt love walmart.But this one happens to be clean and security dont play. I have been there personally when they caught a couple of people trying to steal
Corporate decides where your new tires go and not you. Go to a real garage if you want tires. This place will gouge you because of Corporate. Just say NO to walmart.
Friendly staff, knowledgeable employees. The stuff that we buy is usually in stock there. Very nice and clean store

Walmart has some pretty poor store policies and the level of their products is questionable especially in the produce & meat areas. They are lucky the competition in this town isnt much to worry about.I would love to see a Wegmans come in and put them all out of business. Or at the very least have them clean up their act.
Had everything on my list. Store very well stocked. Went to regular check out and very quick and efficient.
Its a means to an end, low costs are hard to resist for the majority. Otherwise, I am not a fan.
One of the better things about Walmart is the various vehicles that you find parked there, Im not a Steelers fan, but this Dodge looks very nice!!
This Walmart has products that my normal Walmart doesnt have. Its a travel for me, but its worth it.

I was able to get a handicap parking space but not a motorized car otherwise, it was busy but not overcrowded.

I think the nicest people work and shop early in the morning. I think its the best time to go into a store. Its when the stay and customers are all fresh and at this time you can truly see by the way they carry themselves whether it will be a good day or not. I am pleasantly suprised that this particular morning was the absolutely best experience Ive ever had at this Walmart on Walden Ave. Right where the old flea market use to be. I now see it is best to shop in there in the early morning hrs. I never cared for this store in the evening, finding customers and some staff to be very cruel. So from now on I will go in there in the mornings only.
Today it was fairly crowded and they only had a couple of lines open. I see no reason for there to be more than 2 to 3 people in line with 25 registers. I personally do not like self check out unless I only have a few items.Update..since the pandemic I always use self checkout. They still dont make use of all the checkouts they have. The store is clean and front main isle is nice and open.
Employees are trash here. If I could leave zero stars I would.
I was denied being able to return merchandise (3 Items) valued less than $20 TOTAL due to not having ID with me. Understandable if this was electronics or valued $50+. Was told has to be less than $10 in order to not show ID. I suggested I do 3 separate returns which to that I was denied. Although I certainly couldve gone outside and came back inside to CUSTOMER SERVICE 3 times to do this but REALLY?....
Only shop at Walmart for my prescriptions usually. May occasionally.pick up dog treats and protein shakes for my son. What can you say about Walmart. You have seen one, you have seen them all. This one does have exceptionally nice and competent people working in the pharmacy.
I drove an hour for a covid booster appointment to see others being told to fill out papers and come back when its vaccine is ready. I wasnt the only person who drove a long way. Not only was this location unprepared with no curtain or place to do even flu shots it was unclean and overcrowded by the pharmacy with only 1 person working. Dont schedule here. You can make an appointment and waste your time becuase they arent ready.
This store has a serious employee problem including manager always out of everything in the paper bags or a joke but open before you can make it to the car I dont come here half as much as I used to
My online pick up did not go smoothly. But otherwise it was fine. Store is normally well stocked expect right now with covid. I just dont care for walmart in general. Walmart.com is hard to use for everyday stuff.Even when it should be less crowded its crowded.1 way in and 1 way out not well marked.Getting yelled at that I went in the wrong way. I should have just left then.Its improving now that things are opening back up
Walmart in Batavia sucks. I go to a different town. Not to mention Batavia sucks altogether.

Clean, orderly, and the workers are sweet! At least the 2 ladies that helped me. 1 lady in grocery and another young lady in the dressing room area. I like that they know there jobs, where things are ect. ..
My stay was wonderful. My ŕoom was very clean I loved the continental breakfast in the morning 🌄
Helpful usually fast and have most of what big Walmarts have.
I was on hold for a while just to speak to someone in apparel and no one would answer kept sending me back and forth to different departments then hung up on me

It usually has what I need there and the delivery is great. I went online to order my daughter things and the service was fast and on time. The people in the store are usually friendly and help you with whatever you need. Its a good store to shop at...
I would say that this Wal-Mart is better than the others that I have been to. The shelves are usually fully stocked, they seem to usually have plenty of registers open, and the carts are usually full inside the store. Staff have been helpful when I have needed their assistance. I do like the fact that this Wal-Mart is sort if an all in one place when I need to grocery shop or pick up other supplies. I have used their oil change services previously while shopping, which was a huge help. Their grocery prices seem to be significantly cheaper than Tops, but a little more than Aldis. There is a pretty decent selection at this Wal-Mart.

First of all. The bathrooms in the front of the Batavia, NY Walmart arent the cleanest. All though I like this stores hot bar. They could do a better job with quality control. I wish Walmart as a whole had bigger clothes sizes for men and women , more patriotic American products/clothing and warmer winter jackets for all. As for the employees that work at this store. My experience with with them. Has been a good one.

I get it that people dont want to work... but when you have 4 associates standing around in the garden shop and not one can ring you out! They want you to walk to the other end of the store to check out bc they dont have enough people for registers is Ridiculous!!! Please train more for register! Sorry, had to leave my $100 worth of product, Im on lunch and dont have the time 🙄
I was looking for Good Belly/ ProBiotic. The nice gal at middle entrance gave me the area it wasnt there! The pharmacy tech told me it aisle it was bandaids. On line said aisle L32 that was cat litter. A very disorganized directional system. Stems from Corporate Cluelessness. And left to the employees to look like the CLUELESS IDIOTS. WAYNE
Ehhh dont like that they are not 24 hours a day anymore. Do like the multiple self checkout options OR go through a serviced check out. Kinda lazy about restocking sometimes but overall I like this Walmart.
Very helpful employees. They used to have a variety of name brand products. Not anymore, mostly Wal-Mart can goods. Shelves empty, makes it difficult to purchase items.
No one can ever convince me to give Walmart more than a one-star rating. Its a miserable place the employees are always miserable and never want to help and a lot of the customers in there are very rude and just trying to rush themselves out the door. If you want a better experience just go to Target.
Walmart is a good spot to find clothes you need last minute either for an interview or for relaxing at home. This location is far better than the one in Erie county; this store doesnt seem to run out of things very often which is good if youre trying to buy that one funny shirt they have in the mens clothing department. Be sure to check out the movie deals they have in the electronics area.
We did recently went to Walmart today at afternoon, and I did find one cool thing is buffalo bills with wooden!
Store is ok, its a Walmart but I strongly recommend to stay away from the optical department
A full hour before closing they only had self checkout open and yet had multiple workers standing around chatting about unacceptable workplace topics. When asked to open a register they said no not paid enough for that. I get its just Walmart but even this is unacceptable.
Im new in this place the people they are nice.
Pasta was almost competely empty, but found what we needed.
Stopped in today for a tire rotation and oil change not knowing that it is by appointment only. They were do very kind to fit me in and did a great job. Best people! Will definitely be back.

90% of the time we can’t find what we want anymore. Discontinued ordering or poor ordering. Also the having 3 cashiers and not accepting cash at the self checkouts is insane. Waited 25 minutes in line. I’ll spend the extra to support smaller businesss that support local farms etc. Tops takes cash at all checkouts as well as other smaller stores
Sucks! Theres shopping bags are so cheap they tear when you pick your groceries up.I also still cant believe theyre charging for bags 😡BRING BACK THE ORIGINAL WALMART BAGS!!!!!!
This is a decent Walmart Supercenter. They have plenty of stock and variations of the same products to find what you need. I have been waiting a week or so for something specific to come back in stock but other than that personal anecdote the rest of the store seems to function just fine and not have things missing all the time.
Always ok.... Just as one might expect. The team could just dinner customer service instruction times not helpful, too much hanging around visiting with other team people not paying attention to the customers. Can improve s lot in Batavia and Even more in the Brockport, NY store!
Two cart boys were outside being rude and sexist around me and my gf, saying stuff like oh girls shouldnt be working on cars. Like if youre gonna be rude at least be quiet about it! I understand that coworker banter is a thing, I work too! But I dont let customers hear my ranting! Theres also absolutely next to no customer service around these days. I wont be coming back anytime soon.
They lines are ridiculously long because they only have two or 3 cashiers working. They dont never have action figure toys in stocks. There employees on the floor act like they dont work there.
The pharmacy is garbage I had to fight with them for two days to get my insulin because they couldnt answer the phone because the pharmacist was too busy giving COVID shots I will be switching pharmacies immediately
Your typical Walmart experience.I will say though, they need more bra sizes. I can never find my size when I go there to buy one and that sucks. Other than that, the employees are always friendly and a pleasure to see.
I go to the Walmart every week and spend at least 200 every time and I can never get my razors there never on the shelves but for over all its a good experience and the staff is helpful
Finally a Walmart the has good selections of Mens Apparel. Update > 12/21 still good selection even this time of year. Still one of the betters!
This store is too relaxed when it comes to enforcing face masks on its customers. My wife and I take covid-19 extremely seriously and to walk into this store makes us cringe. Customers are allowed to walk in with no face masks, and a bunch of the customers that are wearing them lower the masks down below their nose with no one to remind them to wear it properly. My wife and I said after todays experience that we would gladly spend more money somewhere else, then to potentially expose our family to the pandemic when we have been so diligent towards protecting ourselves. I truly hope this review is seen by management and something is done to stop this. At target, the employee that is responsible for sanitizing their carts asks customers to please put your masks on properly and offers disposable masks for those that dont have them.
They have most of what I need. No salt for sidewalks though.
Kind of disappointed. I ordered a laptop charger online- Walmarts website said available for pickup in store today- and waited 3 hours- drove to online pickup location to check my email for confirmation and be told they didnt have the product in stock and had cancelled my order. Wasted time.

Pretty good. I can find anything I need there, just hope it continues to expand in the areas I prefer, of course. More healthy products, meat and dairy alternatives, organic foods, etc.
One of the bigger walmarts Ive been in. They had Intense Chocolate milk which is my favorite and something I cannot find back home. It was busy at all.
Was denied returning service. How hung up on by customer service. Do not have hope of returning anything because it all depends on the mood of the cranky old lady😂

Their self check out is quick, easy, and convenient. So, if you are one of those people that know how to scan your own groceries, self-check out is for you.
Nothing we need is on the shelves. If they are going too keep the shelves lime this I think its time to down size. And this has been happening before covid.
They always have the things I need. Cashiers were nice to us. Did our black Friday shopping & had zero issues. They even offer curbside pickup.
Nice location. Very clean store. Staff is friendly. The only thing is they run out of stuff so fast. They never ever have enough stock for things. Especially Christmas stuff. I could not get toys I wanted from this store because they never reordered them. I could not get craft stuff for holiday wreath because they didnt have it or didnt care it. They ran of snow globes. Good store but not during the holidays. To bad.

Definitely take a ride through the parking lot to see which door is open before choosing a parking spot. They switch it up. Minor inconvenience, but Ive had to trek across the parking lot both in and out. Try to park close to a cart return to make it easier for the cart workers and yourself. Dont be lazy and leave a cart in the middle of any parking spot. Wal-Mart shopping cart wheels matter.

I placed an online order for pickup from walmart in Batavia NY for the first time. A full cart of about $150. The order was a little delayed. No big deal. When they informed me that my order was ready, I went to the designated location and checked in. The gentleman came out with my order and mentioned that some of my products were out of stock ( even though I had selected to have substitute items). No big deal still.When I saw what was not available and no substitute I was shocked. Every item from the dairy case. Yes every item. (Milk, cottage cheese, cheddar cheese, mozz cheese, yogurt, cream cheese, cresant rolls). And apparently the soda/ juice aisle was also picked over. No diet coke or walmart brand of diet 7-up.When I brought the order home and was unloading it, the pizza crust I got was moldy.I placed a call to the store and was told told that things were moved and they couldnt locate them and that is why 24 items on my list were not available.Can someone please tell me how employees at a store can lose a compete department? They told me if I wanted them to they could go see if they can find the items that were missing from my order. Shouldnt they have done that in the first place?At least I now know that I dont have to ever worry about when my walmart pickup will be ready, Because it will never happen again.Walmart,. In my opinion, you are not really good at what you do.And apparently it will take 3-5 days to be refunded for my moldy pizza crust.
Hours are great. So thankful for a place open 24hrs a day. Its hard to find any other place after work. Friendly staff. Helpful. Im a smoll girl and was sitting in a shopping cart in this Walmart being pushed round whilst shopping with my boyfriend at 1 am . The manager stopped me and said he usually doesnt let it fly but because I seemed comfortable and not hopping around he let it slide. 😂 Wouldnt recommend doing it in the middle of the work day. Bought a futon couch great price. Well packaged. Convenient for small apartments.
Stay away from the pharmacy. The pharmacist there refused to give me my cover shot even though I had a appointment. Then embarrassed me giving a hard time about giving the shot. Because I didnt have my insurance card on my person.(which they dont need) after this humiliation I left after 30 minutes called another pharmacy and went in and got my shot

Store has changed their hours twice in the last week without notifying the public. Went to do my weekly shopping at 6:00AM and they were closed until 7:00AM. Came back at 7:00AM and although they were closed for 12 hours, the shelves were almost empty, so what was done during the 12 hours that they were closed? No meat, no lunch meat, no paper goods, no pasta, low selection of canned goods, boxed cereals almost gone and spotty stock in various locations throughout the store, so why not restock the shelves? Maybe Im missing something but even the corporate customer service folks state that the hours are supposed to be 7:00AM to 8:30PM. Is this store in big trouble or is this just poor planning on Managements part? Customers will take their business and money to other stores in the area if this continues.

Like Walmarts everywhere reasonable prices but they have reinstated a bunch of rules like only one entrance for this huge store. Make sure you look before parking by the wrong door!! Not to mention it would be nice if they used the one in the middle and not the one at the far end!!!!

Electronic dept is the best around.
Although the sporting goods department was really short on certain items, the rest of the store was a great place to pick up some last minute supplies before I hit the road.

If this is from 2day..it was in Batavia. And they had the Great Value spreadable butter we like. Lkpt Walmart doesnt carry it and the other ones I checked locally that usually carry it..were out of it. I bought 6 tubs and froze them.
The woman in Walmart named Hemal Patel was very helpful.I could shop there due to her help only to find what I wanted.I highly appreciate that.

Even though there are all kinds of signs at the entrance about masks being required, too many people in the store were not wearing them. Also no cart wipes at the entrance..very disappointing regarding fighting covid..
A pretty decent Walmart. Decent prices decent people and the average weird Lookers that you would normally expect to find in a Walmart. But all in all a great shopping experience. I would recommend this store to anybody who needs to make a quick stop to pick up all the necessities

Terrible. Wal-Mart is trash and they need to be ashamed on how they treat their employees. Will never shop and/or support a business like this one.
This location is generally clean but inadequately ran. They run out of plastic bags nearly every Tuesday (If it consistently occurs ORDER MORE), on more than one occasion I have found the shelves to be nearly empty in various departments, something management should have decent control over. Some of the cashiers need serious work in the bagging department. I cant tell you how many times I have either helped them or re-bagged at my car to avoid my stuff being broken or spilled. The wait to check out varies. Its a run of the mill Walmart that needs better management.
My stops there are always perfect but this time.. This gentleman went above and beyond to assist my father with his requests. Although he has Alzheimers and dementia.. This guys helped him with all his needs. Everything was very well stocked. Great prices. Friendly cashiers. I highly recommend this place for your shopping needs.
Brought in one tire, my own tire, to have them install. Work was fine, but wasnt told that the road hazard warranty was optional. Instead of $12 plus tax it was $22 plus tax. Wont go to the tire shop there again over that $10 they wanted so bad.
This store has everything a person could possibly need. Everything from food and toiletries to electronics and sporting goods. I especially like their video game section. Whenever I want to buy a new game, Wal-Mart is always my first choice. Not only because I know theyll have it, but also because itll be at a lower price than anywhere else. Thats not just for games, either. The same can be said for all their products. What might cost 60 dollars at one store wil only cost 50 dollars at Wal-Mart. Plus, the staff there is really friendly and always ready to help. Ive even become personal friends with a few of their employees. So yes, Wal-Mart is my regular go-to store, and thats not gonna change anytime soon.
The Halloween items are cheaper everywhere else. The same exact items are at dollar tree for a DOLLAR. Walmart had said item for $9.99. Michaels has a much better selection also far cheaper.
Prices are always good. Staff is always great. Always disappointed to see so many cash yourself lanes open and on a good day 3 paid cashier lanes open.
I hate Walmart. Always crowded, always loud, long lines to cash out, screaming kids EVERY TIME I go there, limited selections, aisles packed too tightly together, and completely inundated with less than savory people. However, its the only place in town to go if you want more than just groceries without having to stop at multiple stores.
The atmosphere makes me feel poor and shopping here makes me uneasy. Although it’s Walmart so what do you expect. Good thing I’ll never step foot in one again. 🍷
After 9pm, only express check/cigarette line and self checkout are open. Its like going to a restaurant and having to serve yourself. Itd be nice to get a discount for reducing the stores overhead by using self check instead of cashiers.
Clean but they never ever have enough registers open. Long lines but the cashiers can be pleasant and helpful at times. Not a lot of the Walmart drama you see over the internet all the time.
Has cheap products, easy to find. Fairly clean at most times. Only down sides are people parked in fire zones and no one does anything about it and one register opened late night when they could just have easy scans open

I just dont like the place.... hate battling my way in and around. Overwhelmed at it all I guess. Still never find what is supposed to be there.. And it probably is somewhere I just plain missed it or got Im get me outta here mode. Cashing out just sucks..wait wait wait. Self cash ok scan one item, flash need assistance.. which if you use them your not supporting local jobs. Might as well just stay home and use amazon..
I cannot speak for the whole store but I can say the gentlemen that work in the auto-center are top notch! They went out of their way to help me!
This place has a lot of friendly workers that are always willing to help and the prices are generally lower than most other places. My only complaint is that in certain sections, the shelves are ALWAYS disorganized. I understand that its hard to keep them clear all the time but its always the same sections that I like shopping in

My go to everything store. Cant beat the prices and yes, sometimes things are not in stock, but it is the best buy around. I have noticed that certain stores have a better selection of clothing than others.
Dont get me wrong ... I love Walmart, but recently the shelves seem to be empty.
Though they have two bathrooms located conveniently in the front and back of store, it feels like they stretch their resources too thin and neither is usually in excellent condition. Suitable for using, but lacks any sense of comfort or quality.
I shop for 45 mins get to checkout and they dont have 1 plastic bag in the whole store to bag my item.The only option was buying very small reusable Wal-Mart bags for 50 cents each and I would have needed about 15 of ten so I left my full cart at the store and left.Maybe put up a sign when entering the store ? What a waste of my time.
Saturday is a busy day for Wal-Mart. Only two people ahead of me in the speedy 20 or less isle. The cashier took 15 minutes to process the two orders. I believe the store managers put the slow cashiers in that lane or possibly new cashiers. I also noticed this cashier seemed to be more concerned about everything and anything going on around her, than the customers at hand.
Its too bad Wal-Mart does not see their customers getting mad and leaving carts full of food and other items and walking out the door. Due to no cashiers at checkouts. Would of given you no stars but have to give you 1 to leave feed back. To also have 4 girls watching customers check themselves out and standing there just talking. Tried to call store phone rang over 20xs no-one answers. You have lost my business!!!
Poor customer service. Which is very fustrating because I enjoy shopping at this walmart. Everything is always clean and easy to find with such great deals. Unfortunately the way I was treated and spoke to today was awful. This has never happened to me before. Batavia usually has great staff as well as customer service. My Cashier today was Janet. She was very rude, unprofessional, and judgemental. Words of advice never judge a book by its cover. SHAME ON YOU!!
Its a Walmart. If they dont have what you need check online in the app and have it shipped to you or store. Its a lot easier than finding someone to ask if they have the thing you need.

Although they offer lower prices and a substantial assortment of products it sometimes hard to deal with the demographics of the people who shop there. This WalMart does not see the more affluent customers in the community.
Nothing is ever stocked in the food section. Certain item can remain out of stock for WEEKS. Nobody ever around to assist you and when they are they either dont know or too lazy to help. Lines long and only a few cashiers out of the MANY cash register that you have. Why bother installing them if youll only open a few. Cashiers are often talking to friends slowing the check out. I could go on but it wont help!!!
My favorite Walmart! Clean, organized and well stocked.
I didnt have any problems with the selection or employees. Though the management decision to open only the farthest door in the worst place in the lot for covid cost two stars outright. Walmart if you read this. USE THE CENTER DOOR.
My strawberries were cover in chicken juice and they didnt give me my basil very disappointed in the pick up service the kid was friendly but this store seems to be getting worse every time and they are getting to where they dont have much of a grocery selection
This store has definitely gone downhill over the past year. The communication between the store and the customers is awful. One example is that there was no signage anywhere visible for customers to see thats the layaway program was for any item that was $10 or over. Had we had not had our credit card to be able to put the gifts on rather than put away we would have spent over 2 hours Christmas shopping for nothing this was exactly what happened to the people in front of us. They had a crying baby and had to put a lot of their items back when they were told no items under 10.00 could go onto the layaway. When we communicated this to the manager we felt that the matter was not taken care of seriously. We came in the following week and asked where the signage was and she pointed to a tiny little card with tiny fine print. That is not signage. Along with today. There is no signage stating that your coupon policy is to hand the coupons back to the customer after the coupon does not scan. I spent a long time this morning working on my grocery list and matching my coupons to the items that I needed. Several of my coupons didnt scan and rather then ask for help she handed them back to me and said they dont work. How is that the customers fault? I have used printable coupons for many years now and now your new policy States that if it does not scan the 1st time that they are not to try again? The only reason why I bought those specific brands was because I had keep on for its. Had I have not had those coupons I would have gone with a generic brand. What I dont understand is one of the coupons specifically said Walmart on it and your store would not accept it? How does that even make sense? I asked a manager about it and he says that the new policy is if it does not scan we dont need to take it. He was quite rude about it. Why should the customer suffer? That does not make me want to return to the store. I would rather spend more money at tops and use my coupons there. At least they double and give you gas points. Its disappointing that issues are not taken seriously. Lots of little things over the year have been going down Hill which is sad because there are some amazing people who work there that which they could help but their hands are tied because the upper management does not want to do any extra work that they dont need to.
Ive recently been told by an employee to just not wash my hands in the ladys bathroom because of the super hot water ! This water is so so HOT! CAUTION . They need to also take more effort in hiring ,my cashier had all of here drawer money in a pile hiding under her cellphone instead of giving it to the money drop Employee.
Helpful employees, good selection. Not too crazy, but REALLY busy between 2:30-4 in the afternoon on a Saturday afternoon after record breaking snow on Thursday/Friday. Parking lot was cleared out fairly well.
Had everything we needed. Shelves were a little bate at certain places. Quick self check out.
Best Wal-Mart Ive been to....if there is such a thing. Had many items in stock other Wal-Marts do not have. Products arranged neatly and orderly making things easily visible to browse through.
This walmart had very few lines open and was VERY busy being an early Sunday afternoon. They only had one set of the self check options open forcing people to walk down to one end of the super center to use those then traverse the entire store to exit if they parked at the other end and entered there. There seemed to be plenty of front end staff milling about, as seems to be the norm at every Walmart, which is why I normally avoid them. Cant say I will ever return here. If I have to return my purchase I will do it at the local walmart I loathe ♡

When we paid through self service, one of items didnt have a bar code on it and there was a young man who helped us out right away. Definitely like this Walmart more than Albion.
The woman checking receipts at the general merchandise doors on Friday 12/27 was absolutely horrible to deal with. I went to stop for her and she repeated very rudely 2x to stop. She stated she needed to do her job then wouldn’t hand me back my receipt until my third try. I think she needs to be fired. Horrible service!
Nice store, clean! Had some different things that my Geneseo Walmart doesnt carry so it was great experience. Busy parking may take a bit if you want close to entrance
Worst tire service ever and had to wait 4-1/2 hours. I felt my family was held hostage. Oil change and tire repair and should have gone to a different Wal-Mart or place all together...Wal-Mart should change their policy and take appointments like most of the world does! The only good thing was the gentleman at register was very understanding and eased the situation.
Love the new self checkouts that have the belts to load your stuff. Makes checking out a breeze. Its a walmart like any other. Pretty much anything you need. Shopping carts are getting old. Some are hard to steer. Others have flat spots on wheels. I dont like how the parking lot is set up. The lines are painted on an angle. Harder to park a truck. Dont know why they do that in Batavia as there is plenty of room. Overall it is an excellent Walmart.

They need to stock the shelves better I love the store trust me Im there at least 4 times a week if not more but the stocking has gotten really bad and the constant moving things I know why they do it but it drives me crazy I get everything down pat and it gets moved again heck I have customers ask me where things are and usually I can tell them because thats how often Im in this store now the bathrooms they could use a little extra cleaning times I know its not the stores fault but dear god I never knew women could be like that

Certainly depends upon what youre there for. Customer service is horrible. That being said, if you need something and are in a pinch, its great. It definitely has a wide selection of items and brands. You just cant expect there to be many lanes open to check out, unfortunately.
One side open (which isnt the greatest idea) got everybody piling into one side versus splitting it up some using grocery some using the pharmacy side. Only a few registers open. Self checkout line went fast.
Poor people who work in Walmart and I am so sick of it. I have tried to get to the mens bathroom this and then I have been told to get out and go to the bathroom in the back of the store. Says the guy who is cleaning the room. I told him no!! I am not going to leave the bathroom because I am disabled and then his response was to say F U

I always find this location clean and well stocked. The only issue is that you need to be prepared for a long wait when purchasing a fishing license or basically anything that you need to purchase at the sports goods counter.

First time ever service was horrible. Went to the automotive department to picked up window washer fluid, antifreeze and an air filter for my truck. Went to check out waited for 10 minutes for somebody to wait on me in automotive. Finally got tired of waiting and went to the shelf checkout. Thumbs down to the automotive department

Monica at the service desk should NOT be in customer service.I was given a 1up arcade rampage machine as a gift which I wanted to exchange for the tmnt 1up arcade AND pay the difference of $108.00 .She immediately denied me in a very rude manner. I asked for a manager,thats when Jake arrived.I calmly explained the situation and he immediately told me sure, follow me and Ill get ya squareda way! Be like Jake, NOT like Monica!!😏

I shop as often as possible at Walmart Supercenters. That way I always can get pretty much everything I need from one place. Whether it is food, hardware, clothes, sporting goods or electronics, this is where I generally go. The prices are good.
Low on inventory. Messy, some employees are nice, some are rude. What bothers me are certain women yelling in conversation using the F word all over the place. Employees ignore them as families walk by. No acceptable

Every single keto friendly thing that’s made Walmart in Batavia does not carry one. But other Walmart’s do. It’s hard enough being keto but knowing that the food for me is out there and I can’t get it locally sucks. And there is so much keto stuff out there to buy. Step it up and make a keto section and see what happens

Its like any other walmart, always had what you need and is very large but I honestly had a horrible experience with the customer service people. They were awful. For example, after trying to explain that we needed a money order and got denied, we called to make sure we had the right information and tried again and she goes can I help you... Again just so rude like we were bothering her. well yeah since thats your job I would love if you would do it. I love walmart but I dont like being treated like Im stupid and being repedidly treated like Im 12. If you dont like customer service, then maybe thats not the job for you.
Why has Walmart restricted the selection of decent plus sized clothing, and why do they hide it, surrounded by small womens clothing? This Walmart is nice enough, and clean enough, but I am getting tired of needing to go online to find cute, decent clothing in my size.

This 24 hour location blows my mind. Visit it just to see the selection.The aisles of chips and cereal as over 53 ft in length and have items you certainly do not see anywhere but a USA walmart ! Prices are fair but as you dont find 30 flavours of oreo cookie elsewhere - you have nothing to compare it to! This place has everything - from garden to pharmacy, grocery to garage- people made day trips hereWow what an entertaining way to see America.

The one thing I HATE about this particular store is that it’s dirty. There have been several occasions where I was in an isle and my foot would stick to the floor. Or in one case, and if u have a weak stomach stop reading now; I was in the makeup section and flies were all around and all I could smell was poop!! I reported it. The next day I went in, low and behold, the same smell..IN THE MAKEUP ISLE!!! I looked for the source of the smell, some disgusting person, put an open, poop filled diaper behind the shelving!! And it was nauseating!!!! I again went to the staff, and it took over an hour for someone to clean it up!!!! There have been a few cases where I’ve gotten products from the freezer or cooler section that had been left out to thaw or rot, and they were placed BACK ONTO THE SHELF, for purchase!!!! The one thing I love is the self check out, it’s so fast, I say fast bc most of the cashiers, literally move at a snails pace and then will bag my things crazy, like putting toilet cleaner in with my bread?? Who does that!?!? Batavia Walmart does. Then at one point there was an issue with the card reader. The employee called over her manager, I had six of the exact same items. I was there for 25 min. Why? Bc the manager after trying three times unsuccessful just literally WALKED AWAY!!! So the employee figured it out. The greeters are always very sweet and friendly, but honestly, most times I’d rather go to tops or target and pay more just to feel like I’m not walking out, needing to sterilize myself!!!
If you dont know Walmart yet youre from a different planet. I find this Walmart better than average Walmart.
Tire department.... still angry. 4 hours for 4 tires mounted and balanced. I wish I was just angry over that. Stripped my lug nuts (told me they were like that I know for a fact they were not) in turn they ruined my wheel hub assembly which led to a 1,000 dollars in repairs. Im an easy going person and how do you fight a big company? But then the cold weather hit and my tire kept going low and coming off the rim. I have run flats. Not a cheap tire. They never even put bead sealer on the tires!!! Its been a nightmare since October. You shouldnt pull people off the sales floor and make them tire technicians!! What they caused is a giant safety concern. My life is worth more than your bottom line. SHAME ON YOU Walmart....

4/15I was shocked when I did my shopping today after lunch a Batavia Walmart of all the people that didn’t have on face masks or gloves and even many of the workersThe aisles were marked but you would be surprised at the people who had no clue l mentioned it to two shoppers but they looked at me like I was nutsWhen I was checking out they changed the lady at the register I asked her were her face mask was and her reply was I don’t get mine until tomorrowI was blown away it is so sad of all the lives that were lost and you see this many stupid peopleI guess they were right when they say you can’t fix STUPID
Sold me a used broken phone. Someone must have returned it and they just put it back on the shelves. All in all I still like this place very much
Terrible I am an amputee NEVER a motorized cart NEVER ! And with health problems ...I cant walk the store.. heart,copd, oxygen , amputation etcMy suggestion would be to charge $ 1.00-2.00 deposit return the cart get money back... people walk in get cart LEAVE it in parking lot

2022-04-24Most of the employees arent the friendliest, and thats if you can even find anyone to help you. Theres definitely an issue with stocking the shelves. Honestly if I didnt have to go to Walmart I wouldnt; unfortunately theyre the only store in the area that pretty much has whatever you need in one place.

2022-04-15So much more to choose from at the Batavia Walmart! Man in electronics was so helpful helping us find a speaker. At check out staff was super friendly and helpful, even took our cart! What a great experience… by far one of the best Walmarts and staffs I have encountered! My hubby got a lil bored of shopping and had to take a rest! A lot bigger clothing choice than the other Walmarts I have been to, and their Easter assortment was so big and so organized! What a great store and staff!

2022-06-29I went to get a bike and needed help, I couldnt find anyone so I had to go over to the electronics desk and ask for help, the staff called for assistance 5 times and no one came. I eventually gave up asking for help. Also in the bike section almost all the bikes did not have the price on them so I had to find them online. I still ended up getting a bike, I would not have gotten a bike , if I had not needed one right then and there.

2022-04-22Self checkouts allow walmart to exploit OUR labor as customers...There is NO option but self checkout after 8 pm.Also, Walmart is collecting welfare and Im tired of footing the bill with my taxes! Since they dont pay a high enough wage, their workers rwceive food stamps to subsidize...THEN walmart collects those from people as well! Double dipping, unethical monopoly that we all hate but cant afford to go anywhere else. I would give it 0 stars if i could. The workers are very friendly in Batavia though. I guess thats what the 1 star is then.

2022-05-25Not just the Walmart in Batavia N.Y but one in Michigan also. Bought a deep cycle battery for my boat. Bought a car battery . Voltage was 13 Volts but batteries died after a short time. Amps were the problem. Took me a while to figure it out. So when you buy a battery have them check volts and amps to be sure battery is good. I was on an island in northern Michigan. So there was nothing I could do. Total loss of money just under 200.00 dollars. Best not to buy from walmart. VARY DISAPPOINTED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

2022-04-10Normally I have no complaints about this store, actually one of my favorites, however, I’m a little irritated by one of the employees there, unfortunately I didn’t get her name. I understand that they are experiencing a lot with rude customers and theft because of the times we’re in, this lady was intently watching my every move, I get it like I said there is a lot going on, but when I have scanned ALL of my products and even let my grandson happily scan his candy, she freezes the register and walks over to me to say that I didn’t scan everything and then in front of my 4yr old grandchild goes through all of my purchases and tells me I didn’t scan my chicken and all of my cheese, well to her surprise I did! Then tries to tell me that it was the fault of the new system not her! Well we all know that it’s the employee that freezes the register when theft occurs, instead of apologizing she quickly disappears because obviously she knows that it was her not the system, not only did she inconvenience myself and people around me, she Ultimately embarrassed herself and me for no reason! Not happy with this woman at all, there was a Designated woman already in charge of watching the customers at that end and she didn’t see an issue with me, she just pops up from wherever and decides that I’m her target! I’m not saying I won’t shop there anymore, because I will, she needs to calm down and learn to how to be better with the people who shop there, and trust that employee that is there already has it under control, it’s a shame that the honest people are being Scrutinized because of the actions of others. I bought a box of coffee that cost 32$ but she accuses me of not scanning 6$ package of chicken, so without saying, the chicken was scanned. What a sad world we live in.

2022-03-05Its Walmart, what is there to dislike compared to any other store? Best pricing, everything you want and/or need in a one-stop-shop, no-hassle returns, great warranties for affordable prices, most Great Value brands are legit and comparable, if not better, than the more expensive brand names. The stores and isles are consistently clean considering the amount of traffic throughout. The Walmart App has a directory to find what your looking for, and you can scan any item you want with the app to see the products description and reviews, the list goes on and on. Also, if you do have any issues, Walmart will resolve them the right way! Their customer service is undeniably superb and unmatched IMO.

2022-03-05I visited the Eyewear Department. The service was a 10! I was greeted immediately, and the attendant found what I requested as well as fit them in my glasses. The prices are average to other eye stores. The store was clean and organized, and the only eye store of the 4 in Batavia was still open at 5 pm on a Saturday!
