I stopped by this Walmart while visiting family in the area I’m from the Bronx tho! I was exchanging a item that was over 150 but didn’t have my receipt the cashier got the manager who I think his name was Shaquille man he looked out for me he looked up my receipt found it so I can exchange my baby toy!! When we got home and he seen we got him a new one that works made my baby day!! Thank you again Shaquille (( kinda short, brown skin man, with a Caesar haircut ))
Today Friday June 24th. 7:30ish P.M. - I want to praise And I want to thank with gratitude for one of the most outstanding employees Ive ever met at walmart. Her name is miracle I believe she works in the customer service station. Miracle truly stands out with such customer care and experience. Miracle multitask genuinely with customers engaging while also delegating her assistance on an item I was looking for.. Miracle is excellent with her skill,leadership and has an AMAZING personality and skill both professional and personal .. Shes a natural born leader and role model. I believe ;if she hasnt already been promoted and hire up management that she would be definitely the chosen one. Her energy is great , her customer care is on point. She knows how to hold conversation and engage and simply get the Job done effortlessly. I never leave comments or reviews much. But coming from a retail management, district management store management sales Management background 10 years+ . Miracle should not be unseen for her hard work and genuine customer care handling. Today was chaos in walmart and My day is in a much better place from the simple act of an employee being patient, kind, mindful and diligent with grace. To upper management and Corporate at walmart. You truly have a great employee on your watch. Appreciate that.Thank you miracle, youre truly a rare star.
Why would I want to shop for clothes here when I cant try them on without spending ten minutes hunting down an employee to let me into the fitting room?Also when I tried to get my tires changed they couldnt do it for days because no one working for the appointment could drive a stick. Lol.
Went in for a cell phone and was sold one without the sim card so phone was useless a few hours later I take it back and they try to give Me a hard time....YOU DO NOT mess with Sue I know things and even though I had charged it they offered Me cash and I took it!!! But boy how they treated Me when he sold a phone knowing sim card was missing...
Like all Walmarts, this is a vast store. I hadnt been to this store in over a year and the store arrangement had changed. You can use your phone to identify products and their aisle and bin location. Lacking that information, if you need help, ask staff who are friendly and helpful. As always, the prices are below other stores in the area. A few days earlier I had purchased two cans of gasoline additive for our cars at a local auto supply and paid $7 more for these products! I had similar savings on birdseed and paper products. If you can, shop here during slow times and use the self checkout. Otherwise, be prepared to wait on long checkout lines.
Of course the majority of the shelves are partially empty. Customer assistance is nowhere to be found when you do find someone they dont care and often times leave you there waiting for someone else to help you. There are a few good workers there namely Caitlin in produce. She takes alot of abuse from her boss which isnt cool. The store is a mess, bathroom are a disgrace and prices just continue to raise.
My cashier was amazing and extremely polite and got me taken care of quickly, an properly...they also re-renovated the entire store n its very clean n easier to find things once you get used to the relocation of all products...but I still love shopping at Walmart, especially since they have so many ways you can shop, purchase and pay for your products. And they also have contact list shopping and they bring your groceries to your car. Which is a very good convenience
I am truly disappointed with Walmart had this juice for a few months and the entire motor stop working I currently have insurance was told I had to call a company regarding my machine. Called company they never sent me the email so I can put in the claim. Now I am out of a juicer and this one cost me $80 HORRIBLE dont waste your money on there warranties its not worth the extra bucks that you pay. 👎👎👎😡😡😡
At 5:30 in the morning I had a wonderful experience at the 24 hour Walmart in Middletown New York the porter name Lloyd helped tremendously considering I couldnt find what I was looking for but he came thru fir me👊🏾 Now the sad part is Im from Long Island New York and all of our Walmarts close at 10 oclock which makes no sense to me, Im a truck driver my time is very limited so sometimes I can only shop after hours so I experience only a few 24 hour stores the last one I went to was in Utica New York near Rome I use a visit that 24 hour Walmart frequently
Don’t even bother with using their drive up pickup service. Waited here over 30 minutes it would have been quicker just to go inside. Target really has this process down pat it maybe more expensive there but they get you your order quick. Also the parking lot is an absolute nightmare.
The online shopping department is ridiculous, I try to buy a bike for my Son, it shows they have 4 on stock, every time I placed order, later It message me the bike out of stock and cancelled my order, ok, Maybe it’s real. today I find another bike what I like, So I just walked in the store, stand in front of the bike, and I placed the order online, Later it message me again, The bike is out of stock and cancelled my order, I have to take the bike from shelve and checkout. Come on, How can you cheat your customer like this way?? You should just close the online department.
Pretty average and stocked adequately… however checking receipts at the door before you even go through the electronic detectors is a reminder that it’s a hood location. Take a few extra minutes and just drive to Monroe where you can be thanked for your business instead of feeling accused.
Went to purchase water and clothes rack. As I neared the checkout I noted that the majority of registers were closed. The self check line had at least 25 people waiting. I chose to go to a regular checkout. I stood in line for a minimum of 10 minutes without moving even one person. I left my items and even if it costs more elsewhere I will not put myself through this misery again. I saw numerous Walmart workers just wandering around the registers and at no time did any manager chose to open any new checkout lines to help alleviate the massive congestion.
I ordered a cake from the bakery department earlier in the week to pick up Saturday morning. Never received a call or any correspondence from the bakery department with questions and or voicing concerns so assumed we were still on schedule. I just received a txt…. Friday afternoon… (the day before my cake was suppose to be picked up) canceling the order with no explanation. I can’t order another cake from any where else because it’s the day before. I tried calling countless times and can’t get through to anyone regarding reason/options etc. Very inconvenient and unprofessional!!!
Wal-Mart & Sams Club are my go to Supermarkets. Why go anywhere else..need I say anymore!! They have the best prices. Pleasant employees always willing to help/assist with any problems you might have. My daughter taught me how to use the scan & pay application at Sams Club, so Im on a roll!! Keep up the excellent work/service.
Everything that you need and want you find in this walmart.It is a department store with food , clothing, gardening , house decor, electronics and hardware section as well as toys ,beauty and others sections. Inside the store is also has a beauty and nail salon,Subway pharmacy, bakery. This Walmart also offers the option of curbside pick up.
Always good to get the things you need to survive from bathroom goods to food. Absolutely love the addition of the self-checkout for more than 20 items that way you dont have to wait for a cashier to check you out when youre buying groceries or home goods and its more than 10 to 15 items
Store is good self check out are limited to cards onlyI think this is terrible what if you only buy one or two things and you have to use a card service fees are charged most of the time. I use cash most of the time but to use cash you have to stand in the 1 or 2 long lines because they only have a few open even at busy times. Management needs to step up their game during busy times
Got there 10 mins before closing at 11pm to get one thing, the store associate Kamal would not let me in and said to another customer this is not a bank and to call corporate. I don’t know what type of customer service is that. Walmart needs to train their employees on proper customer service and the store closes at 11pm not 1045pm. They should not be allowed to close the door before time because they want to leave at 11.
If I treated my customers as poorly as this WalMart does, there would be no food on the table, wed be homeless. I have probably been to 20 WalMarts and this is easily the worst one. Most are worthy of 1 star, maybe in rare situations 2 stars. This filthy, poorly stocked with lazy and indifferent employees and even worse management and leads who are often hiding away from the customers is just ridiculous. They deserve no stars at all.
This is not my favorite place to shop but they have the lowest prices for certain things. They often do not have stuff in stock, especially if its a Friday night. The store is relatively clean, bathrooms are usually ok. Its nice that the pharmacy is open late since my regular pharmacy closes at 7pm. The pickup option is ok but I wouldnt go there until you get the text that its ready otherwise you might be there a while.
I do mostly curbside pickup here. Im giving this place a solid three stars because even though their pickup service is frequently very quick, on a couple occasions Ive had to call them back twice because they forgot to dispatch someone out to give me my order. Now, when Ive been waiting 10 minutes I call a second time to make sure they didnt forget.
Looking for a shovel, couldnt find anyone to help me. When I did, they were buried behind things waiting to be put on shelves. I never would have found them. Waited on line, I like a person cashier, but there were more self check outs than anything else. I found a reel of lights with white cord and colored lights that looked like they had been there quite a while, no price, get to the register and they were almost $30, so I did not buy
If I could give this store a -1, I would. To say the staff is inept and lackadaisical is being nice. I just spent 5 HOURS in the store for 11 photos and still left empty handed. I was having some pictures printed for a gift. I went to the kiosk and of course both kiosk printers are out of order. So I moved to the last on on the end and selected my photos. I submitted them and went about my shopping. I put my items in the car and returned to the photo center where Stephen who, God bless him was completely clueless, kept telling me “it’s still printing.” Well my photos never came out. Hour 2 rolls around and I along with another irate customer request the manager. Stephen calls 3 TIMES over the PA system and nobody shows up. Around this time, another young man comes back there only to discover that the printer was out of paper and he filled it. Well, he filled what he thought was the right printer. He tells me that a woman named Carla is supposed to be coming in and she knows how to fix the printer. He said she’s 30 minutes out. Well she didn’t stroll in until about 10:30 pm when I went to the front to find someone myself. She tried to fix the machine and she couldn’t do it. I left angry and frustrated at 10:30 PM. I called the headquarters and nobody answers. I called the store switchboard and nobody answers. I will tell anyone, IF YOU CAN, DO NOT GIVE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY TO A COMPANY THAT DOES NOT CARE ABOUT YOU ONE BIT. I will be canceling my membership to Sam’s Club as well. I refuse to continue to give my money to a company that does not go above an beyond to help it’s customers. Go somewhere where you are appreciated and the staff actually looks like they want to work there. I was back there in that photo center and 2 of the managers that did stop by: Kayla and another younger gentleman looked irritated that they had to help irate customers that were back there. You are a manager, it’s your job to manage and help customers when you can. You don’t walk away and pawn them off on other associates who don’t know up from down.
Horrible place to work for my mother-in-law worked there for over six years and they decided to give a two weeks notice handed in a resignation letter professionally in the morning on the earlier part of her shift and when she clocked out at 3 PM she was told she was terminated. I find it laughable that such a big corporation will be so petty like this towards its employees even the ones that choose to leave For a better opportunity and better pay but yet she’s not allowed to work her last two weeks and leave on her own terms professionally as they always teach us to do if we were ever going to leave a job. Nice job Walmart we see you value your customers because it’s all about the money but God for bid you value your own employees. That was a really petty move lol I don’t recommend anyone working here
The worst store ever. I forgot the lady manager name and the lady who manages the returns but so rude and have no customer service skills save your self a major headache and dont go to Walmart cheap Chinese garbage merchandise. They will not help you out in any way so stay aware from this store
All the summer stuff is gone already? Wth we still have 1+ months of summer left. And the parking is the worst. Guy reversed out of a parking spot and hit me while i was stopped at a stop sign. He was decent enough to give details but a lot of hit n runs taking place there
Grocery pickup is efficient and the workers are friendly, but the mask policy is not always followed well, and there are some odd things going on at the side door. Items going out AND even into the door by people who look like non-employees. Maskless non-employees having conversations with maskless or semi-masked Walmart employees over dollies full of customers food orders. It makes me feel that COVID safety is not a priority for the management of this store.UPDATE: Grocery pickup used to be good, but, lately, items are regularly missing. Often half the order or more is not put into the bags. This is a serious problem when a customer is on a limited income. If theyve spent their last dime on a grocery order and more than half the order is not fulfilled, it takes 7-10 days to get a refund. What do they live on during that week? The careless attitude of the grocery staff who bring out the orders, even when they are repeatedly asked if the order is full, is very disappointing. All they need to do is look at the number of items in the order to see if they are even close. Theres a big difference between 6 items and 26 items. But they seem incapable of counting.Worse still is the total lack of any kind of customer service. It is impossible to get in touch with the store in any department except the pharmacy, and the pharmacy cannot transfer calls out, using the ridiculous excuse that it has to do with privacy. No one at this store answers the phone. For their poor performance and lack of any kind of caring, they have gone down to one star.
Local Walmart that usually has whatever we might need at any given moment in time, i mean its a Walmart. Could use more staff in the aisles helping. And Im not a fan of the new layout, but usually it has what I need when I need it. Are there better Walmarts with better service and cleaner aisles? Yes! But does this one get the job done even if its not pretty? Yes!
Went to the deli to get some lunch meat and no one helped me. There were two people behind the counter, the younger man asked if I had a question, I told him no, I needed some deli meat. He just went back to what he was doing! So I left.I was not going to waste any more of my time being ignored. I also observed another man, right after I walked away, being ignored at the counter as well. The rest of my shopping trip went fine. The workers at the food side self checkout area were helpful and greeted me. Not the first time I have had problems with getting service at the deli. It was 6:12 pm when I got there, so I know the deli was still open.
The delivery service has been one problem after another every time I order. Missing items and phone calls galore they keep saying someone is bringing it. So far three people have told me the driver is on his way and still no one has come with the rest of my order as promised. This has happened numerous times. So many out of stock after you order and so many substitutions not made. Im not happy with their service at all
I usually go to the store in PA but I was in the area and decided to shop here. I just assume that a Walmart is a Walmart so I was disappointed that the cold cut selection was so small and the $1 breads were not in a hot box like in PA. It is always wonderful to buy that bread warm and fresh in PA. I didnt buy any because they didnt look fresh anyway. The meat selection was smaller, too. However, Ken in the Deli area made my shopping experience good. He was patient, kind and funny as I made my selections. People can make a big difference at any Walmart and Ken made a difference at the Middletown store for which I am grateful.
Is too hard to find home maintenance products was looking for mouse traps around 1 hour, the staff send me in different department, in the end found out out of stock. Very mixed category of products, there is no one kin in one place, is every where. One best thing big range of products and prices, quality depends on price.
Like always, Walmart is a complete super store! You can find everything here. This location has a huge free parking space, not like some malls in New York City and the other boros where you have to pay for spending your money. People here are graciously helpful. Your one stop place for shopping for sure.
If i could give a negative star i would. Ordered food to get delivered and whoever came to deliver the food threw the bags at our door so the groceries were everywhere. The bags were ripped. And to top it off it wasnt even our order. Maybe After we electronically confirm that we got our correct order is when you automatically tip the deliver person instead of robbing us and screwing us over.
The store is frequently dirty. As of recently it has been hectic to shop at all in the store because there are always hundreds of people at any time that I go and only 2 registers open. The lines become unmanageable and incredibly time consuming. Stock of a few items I have sought have not come back. Stressful isnt even the word! Hire more workers or open more registers!
I really enjoyed 🥳it because they were very friendly employees and it’s very huge supercenter a wide variety of things they have a subway tire center you name it what Walmart doesn’t have 💁🏻♀️🙆🏻♀️ it was a getaway 🧳 from home 🏡 not too far an hour away but I loved it I loved everything in Middletown/Goshen New York 🗽 enjoy 😉 everyone
This workers here dont like helping people. And management is thumbs down. Their way of helping the customers is... What we have on the shelves. The lady in the photo area has been there for a while and by far the only only one who really knows hiw to help and treat customers, ways eager to help. Also 8n the food area the people there are friendly and some are eager to help. After that... good luck finding an associate or getting help. Youre practically on your own there.
Its a walmart.... it has just about everything, but it wasnt super cleanly or organized. Stock was all over the place, isles were congested and felt crowded by unorganized items waiting to be shelved. Had zero interactions with staff while searching for items. Not that I didnt see any, there were plenty around, just no interactions to mention.
When I first moved here 20 years ago, people at Walmart were just wonderful, had someone greeting you and out. very helpful. then as rhe years passed, less staff, younger staff that it is a privilege to have a job to work, just not a paycheck.. finally must day about 2 years ago.. Walmart is very clean and organized.. and some have been there for many years who know you by name, ask how are you, your family and rhe grandkids.. I truly appreciate that..
The Tire Center is a complete joke! Do not waste your time. Go anywhere but here. Beware, I am not just a disgruntled customer, the experience I had in there today was beyond unacceptable. There 6 employees just standing around. You cant tell who works there because they dont wear uniforms. They will do anything to prevent them from doing anywork. I booked an appointment 3 weeks in advance, came 45 mins early only to be told to come on my appointment and dont be late. I was five minutes late and they cancelled the appt. With no phone call. Then after Jules the manager told them to fix it. They never touched the vehicle. I walked around the store for an hour 😑....I cant. Avoid this place at all cost. These guys think they deserve hazard pay for working during the pandemic. Useless
Was standing in line at the Walmart in middletown ny on 211. Was waiting like 10 mins. Patiently when it was me and my fathers turn a lady walked up that iris the cashier knew and told us to wait so she could take care of her friend. We felt disrespected and it was rude to make us wait more so she can take care of her friends. When confronted all she said was it ok just go. I felt racial profiled because I am Spanish and the lady she let go ahead of us was white and her friend. We shop there everyday. Or at least we did. I would like the number to corporate. I will follow thru and make sure the individual, Iris the cashier is written up. In times like these Walmart shouldnt be treating paying customers as such.
I had to wait almost 30 minutes for my pick up items because the kiosk was out of order. I had to go to the customer service desk twice. When someone finally came over, she was throwing my purchases in my cart! No customer service skills! I wasn’t asking for a hand out, just picking up the items that I had paid for. On another occasion, I tried to go down an aisle and the employee wouldn’t even acknowledge I was there! I had to turn around and go the other way!
This particular one, is interesting. First of all the curbside pickup system is absolutely atrocious. Lately the waiting time is about forty to an hour after check in. The customer service is rude. And most of the items requested that appears out of stock is false. You return to the store only to find plenty of out of stock items fully stocked. This place is disappointing to put it nicely.
Worst curbside pick up ever. I called the number and it led to a voice mail.... but the voice-mail was full. I asked the gentlemen bring orders out and he dismissed me twice. Then I finally carted my two babies into the store during COVID... and they had the audacity to act like I should have the app which I dont want on my phone and then said it must not be ready so I pulled out the confirmation email. A total of 56 minutes later... I got my order which I had to carry to my car myself. Ridiculous how they treat customers.
If I could give this place no stars, I would. The last 2 grocery orders, I never got. No one can ever get in touch with anyone at this store. Need something delivered on time? Too bad. I allow subs on all my items and after a half hour past my delivery time, with no one to update me, there is apparently not one grape, banana, pear, bag of stuffing, or carton of almond milk in the ENTIRE store. What a joke.
While we all love Walmart because of convenience but the customer service has declined extensively. Asked for help tonight and the worker told me she didnt speak English!!!!!! WHAT!!!!!!! HOW DID THIS GIRL EVEN INTERVIEW? asked another worker for help and was told dont know dont care! Sad that these people have these jobs. When there is people who want and need to work and would bust their butt.
While I get you have staff members that oversees online orders, train your associates properly so they know how to use the MC40s they have in their possession everyday. I innocently asked for a quick price check for an item that I eventually purchased but both women doing online could not navigate the scanners they had in their possession. I know for a fact that this can be done bc I oversee a group of about 30 that collect online orders for consumers in my store where we also utilize the very same scanners these ladies had. Every time I’m in your location I would never be able to know who is management is because theres absolutely zero floor presence in the front of your location. Instead I overhear your associates complaining about what they have to do the rest of their shift. Note to the management. Get out there and understand your people more and train them on those MC40s and be human to them
This Walmart is trying, but is simply overwhelmed by demand especially during holidays. Employees frantically attempt to restock shelves but the people keep on coming! The checkout process is horrible as typical for Walmart. The self checkout line moves at snail speed and the checkout lines in general are understaffed. Considering how long Walmart has been in business, you would think they would have more efficiency in the store experience.
The shelfs are always empty as they do not actually restock the shelves they just pull things forward closer to the edge. The staff are rude, they never seem to know where things are and sometimes they pretend to not speak English. Youre better off going to either the Walmart in Monroe or Newburgh.
It took about 5 times longer than Im used to waiting at the Monroe Walmart Super Center. Also, I dont like the location of their curbside pickup because its in the middle of a crowded parking lot. I will not go to the Middletown location in the future. The bright spot is that the Walmart associates who took care of my order were great!
Store feels crowded and dirty. I actually saw stock room people coming out of the back area without a mask. I mostly avoid this place due to crowding. In the beginning it seemed like they were counting customers but that’s over. You can save money here but not recommended going often during the pandemic.
This particular walmart only has the self check out .when I spoke to a assistant manager Patrick he told me that the home office wants the customer to use self checks out the lines were going in the aisle .I spoke to another manager Samantha and first she told me she was short handed and then lied and said she had register opened. And it was only 2pm on a Monday..there not for the customers 😒also good luck with your inventory. SO SAD that businesses are doing this now.
A couple of years ago this Walmart was very good one of the best ones I used to go to now you find dirty vegetables old vegetables dried up vegetables out of date vegetables meat that looks old you can never find both chicken and red meat that are fresh at the same time the shelves are empty 80% of the time rude employees very disappointing I hope they work it out and fix it
Need to have shopping carts available to fill. I usually go to fill the cart and cannot other are no carts. More cashiers needed as well. There are never any bags available, even the ones you pay for (paper). A suggestion is get a cart from parking lot and dont forget your reusable bags.
Not crowded. Very Covid-19/wiping carts & hand sanitizer @ entrance. Check out was fast. My only problem is the Pet store, not very much selection or none at all along with the Bath aisle. They need to stock up on these shelves. Other than that Walmart is still my place to shop.
2 Working Handicap scooters are the only ones available in the entire store . When you ask employees/ Managers they always say They are all being used right now. We mostly go at 7:00 am. Now that there is a Pandemic going on. We do not want to be around people, which come more later on in the day. That is their response for years. We have made numerous complaints and have called corporate over the years since my daughter worked at this location. Forward January 2021, since 2014 elderly and handicapped persons like myself and my SO, who is much worse than I am, have to wait more than an hour and hover over an available scooter and even have to walk out with person in scooter to retrieve it from them or they will be snatched up by another person who also needs it. All isles had the necessary merchandise. And clean but if you are disable you cannot take out there carts. Out if Wal-Mart you have to carry your stuff so how you hard to your car with your bags or outside. ? They gave to stay inside they suppose to have tracking GPS like all supermarket walmarts thruout the state.
Parking is always an hassle here. Whenever I go I have to park far away due to lack of parking. Also always characters at this Walmart. Last time I went there was this guy shadow boxing in the middle of an aisle. But hey, it’s Middletown and it’s also Walmart so really can’t expect less. But this Walmart generally always has what I need so I’ll give stars for that. Happy shopping.
Update July 15th, 2021SHAME ON YOU WALMART!!! The ladies room is the most disgusting bathrooms I have ever seen!! Every toilet is backed up, not working, paper towels and tissues all over the floors, no running water to wash your hands, no soap.Port-A-Potties are cleaner than this!!! Aftergoing through this pandemic and needing to wash hands and to be extra clean Walmart has failed on so many levels. 🤮🤮🤮🤢🤢
My delivery order of groceries was left unbagged on the dirty ground. The photo that the maskless driver took to verify the delivery was of my door, not the actual groceries. On a previous order the driver said he didn’t know which groceries were mine, and I had to come outside to his car to figure out what belonged to me. Very unsafe. It is impossible to speak to a store manager because the phone is never answered.
Set up an appointment on Saturday to get tires on Wednesday morning@9 am . Picked tires out and everything. Wednesday ( 8:45am) come they make u park in the back by auto and walk around to the front entrance . Just to get back to the auto section of the store. Then they have one register that they can check u in. Now I’m checked in so I ask how long will it be? She tells me well your appointment was at 9:00. so that’s my fault that u guys have one register working. But ok. I give in my keys and be on my way. But no this is the good part I get a call just to tell me oh we don’t have your tires. So unhappy with them today
You can find everything you need in this place. Prices are reasonable, wide selections, fresh produce, aisles are aways stocked. Associates are knowledgeable and friendly. I havent tried the additional services such as hair and nail salons but they are always filled with customers
How can a super center only have 2 registers opened and the rest scan to go? They have 18 registers but only 2 open. The store is constantly having issues due to being over crowded and no available registers. I will travel to Monroe NY for now on instead of dealing with this crazy location.
I’m considering in looking for another pharmacy one that will respect it’s paying customer and not be talked to like garbage. Sam I’m told is the pharmacy manager on 211 E (Middletown NY) was nasty to me and needs to take a class in customer service to better serve its community. When a provider writes for a medication that is questionable, a pharmacist should call the provider to clarify. But instead they fill the prescription to meet its daily quota and never mind the out of pocket cost one must pay. I’m told that once the medication leaves the pharmacy you cannot return it and this is understandable. But at least you should get a refund or credit. After my medication was processed thru my insurance, I had a copay of $5.00 and you may think that $5.00 is not a big deal but it is to me. Now my hard-earned money is wasted on a medication that I cannot take so my doctor ordered a different form. Now it’s another $5.00 and in total I spent $10.00. Sam needs to be more sympathetic to its customers. I asked for the district manager’s name and phone number, number that was given to me is not a working number. Customer be ware
Great store to shop at as it is one stop shopping. Although this store is consistently under stocked. Produce is not appealing. Store is messy and dirty. Lines are always long, including self check out, that is a mystery to me. When the line is not frustratingly long, customer service is excellent. Always have difficulty finding an associate in a department, but when I find one the service is excellent. Most cashiers are unpleasant, and frustrating to deal with. Overall shopping experiences are poor. I will drive 30 miles to another Walmart to avoid frustration. Senseless!
Was in this bathroom 2 days in a row and the bathroom was the exact same. Toilet paper and garbage on the floor in the stalls and on the way out into the store. The countertop and sinks were a disaster and there was no paper towels in the dispensers, but I can tell staff had been in there because they set the roll of towels on the folded out baby changing table. It was this way for 2 days in a row. So let me get this straight...Walmart is so worried about Covid and we have to wear masks BUT they dont clean their bathrooms for days and days.... MAKES NO SENSE.
Shelves arent stocked and checkout can take longer than actually walking through the store to get the items I want, if stocked. I now shop on Amazon when I can.It also appears to me that this store doesnt care about long checkout lines and being inconvenient to customers as long as they rack in the money! For me Amazon is convenient and I dont even have to leave my house, waste my time or deal with this stores employees!
They hardly had anything in stock. The prices of items have seem to gone up. I also found out that if they say theres only one item left in the store online that that may not be true and that it may not be on sale like it says on the website. And from experience shopping online is way better!
Order for pick up in store takes way too long. Youre better off looking for the item yourself. I got there and nothing was ready for me even after receiving the email that it was and all I had to do was arrive and scan the barcode...bull! I went and picked it out myself. And thankfully no one else purchased the item because it was the last one left.
This place is messed up... I went in to buy a controller at 10pm on December 11th and literally no one was in the electronic section. Took about two minutes til closing until someone came and got us one. The staff was very rude and disrespectful like he was rushing to leave as though we weren’t. My wife asked for a discount being that we had to wait pretty much a whole hour until it was closing time to get a controller and his reply was he can’t do nothing and that we should of came back tomorrow or had went else where. Smh. I wouldn’t recommend this place to no one at all. Customer service isn’t great at all. If someone has corporates number please post it for me thank you
We get it, its covid 19 and lines are longer everywhere. However your lines have always been this long for years. Youre a multi billion dollar corporation, hire a few more cashiers!!!The store is usually clean and well stocked employees are friendly doesnt seem to have the consistently bad morale some walmarts seem to have in their employees.Steaks are great if you pick out the right ones right after they stock it.
If Im honest even the cleanest, most well stocked, and staffed with friendly associates Wal Mart would probably only get 3 stars from me because I hate anytime I have to go to one for whatever reason. That being said this Wal Mart is consistently the worst. Dont go because you just need one specific thing because theyll be out. Dont go if you want to get in and out quickly. Dont go if youre desperate for human interaction associates all over the store are on their phones listening to music; sometimes with headphones, sometimes and the cashier checking you out is going to be too busy playing a game on her phone to look at you.
The entrance make no sense. If we need to social distance, why are we all being forced into one entrance and exit. Why close the other side completely? That makes absolutely no sense at all. In the store areas are blocked off, you have to go around following stickers on the floor...for what!? CONTROL? This place, as well as all Walmarts..SUCK!

No real person in the store or on the phone to help you. Save your money and headache by going to somewhere else that can provide you a better customer service and money back guarantee when you lost it and had a receipt.
Bigger store than the Walmarts around the area but seems less of a selection for men and womens clothing. Actually men have more selection but its not winter yet, lets see the incoming inventory. The lines are so long between 12p - 3p youd think they should have less scan n go and have real cashiers to rectify problems? More scan n go less job opportunity.
Whoever schedules the help at the deli counter should be fired. They have 1 employee taking care of the fryer, the deli counter and the bakery. We waited 20 minutes while he stocked the fried chicken shelf waited on deli counter and answered questions regarding a cake order. This simply unacceptable. Meanwhile 2 people are walking around store picking up carts.
Never enough cashiers at this location & the self check out closes at night. ALWAYS a huge line & a long wait. I have put my items down & walked out many times. Employees have no sense of urgency or customer service. Management has no authority or control over their staff, or they (like the rest of the employees) simply dont care. Employees play offensive music in the aisles while they stock. The bathroom is always dirty & out of toilet paper/paper towels. We ordered (2) six foot subs for my daughters birthday on 8/25/18 & upon pick up, the day of the party, they let us know that they lost our order. They also told us that there were only two employees working the deli & actually said to us that they couldnt hurry because there were only two of them. We had no choice but to order pizza! I dont shop here unless I absolutely need something & theyre the only ones who have it.
O my goshhhh. Customer service was TERRIBLE.... One girl with pink hair I presume, it was too dark to tell, she clearly doesn’t know the guidelines or rules of Walmart. Made my pickup order very difficult. Saying I’m not the pickup person when my name was clearly there Then calling Co-workers who eventually stated to her my name was right there in plain text.
This store is very big. Prices are good and most of the time they have what you’re looking for but at certain times they are just out of meat and juices and they change their prices whenever there is a big holiday time. They always have hardly any registers open and always have employees walking around instead of just opening up a register and helping customers get back to their lives. But it’s in general a good place to get everything from food to a pair of jeans. They have a great selection of animal food and anything from paint to plumbing needs as well as seasonal items.If they were to keep their prices fair and reasonable and have enough REGISTERS OPEN when the lines reach into the isles, they would be a great place.
This Walmart is changing the layout of their store. It’s actually a good change . I still give it 5 stars even though the staff sometimes is MIA or they don’t even know where things are or they have attitude. But overall the store itself has everything that a household needs at very low prices . There are a few workers that go above and beyond and I wish I knew their names because they should be recognized but other than that - it’s my go to place .
Pickup was slow and disappointing that items ordered very early in day were available and then really not available when I went to pickup. Not a reliable shopping option!👎🧠Think twice before thinking your order is going to be accurate. Offering substitutes that you know you dont have in store is deceptive.
You better go to this place early, not too early or you will have to wait for the elderly first. If you go later on the day, many things will be fone(like paper town and toilet paper). Also, be aware that work out stuff, arts, and many beauty product is wiped out(maybe there is a day that they deliver and so it gets fuller), I think with the pandemic, a lot of people are staying home, cooking, working out. Returns and customer service is usually pretty helpfull.
This place is by far the most unorganized . There are hardly ever enough cashiers. I was waiting on an 10 items or less checkout for about 25 minutes . Standing with a baby in my arms waiting as the Cashier was assisting a family of three with over 20 items in their cart. I had two items and waited longer than if I were capable of checking myself out .
Clean, well lit, fresh foods and produce. Good place to shop however, they could use additional staff at peak (Saturday) hours. No need to stand on line 25-30 minutes for check out while my feet are screaming the blues after 2 hours of shopping! Get it together, Walmart!
Always crowded, there were no carts available upon entering the facility ,customers entering had to back out looking for carts,otherwise its ok there stock is a little short meat and vegetables section . Some cashiers need to be a little friendly with greeting customers..
Not happy with how I was ignored with needing assistance for a product in a case. Theres an assistance button on the side of the case I pressed for a little over 10 minutes after having to re-assess what I needed since they didnt have the actual product I needed (they never have what I need in stock everytime I go to the middletown location but yet there are always re-stockers on the floor but they take their sweet time) and after not being assisted i went to pharmacy for a script i needed to pick up anyway, and asked for assistance from the young woman behind the register who tells me she cant help me that I have to press the button and wait (meanwhile the case is right next to the pharmacy and I have to check out in pharmacy with the item anyway) So after waiting another 10 minutes of waiting again i walked away amd went to 2 other associates to find someone with a key just so I can get my product cash out in pharmacy and leave. I have never been treated so poorly other then this location. This place is mess, never stocked, and always rude. I will be taking my business to another location. I will not be shopping at the Walmart Supercenter of Middletown NY anymore after this.
So I was just in there to get a couple of things, along with purchasing my daughters very first bicycle. We had no problem picking out the bike but we weren’t sure if you just take what’s on the floor or if one is assembled for you. Couldn’t find anyone for the life of me and the one person I did find just stared at me like I had six heads. Couldn’t figure out what I was asking. Fast forwarding we get to checkout which is always a joke by the way, pay then get out. Get all the way home and realized I forgot a bag at the store. No big deal I’ll just call them and ask to hold the bag. Not that hard yea? Wrong! I have been calling the store for almost an hr now. NOBODY is answering the phone. And even at one point, someone picked it up and just hung up on me. One way or another I will either get my money back or my product or else the better business bureau will be getting a complaint. Now I know what you’re saying, “just go back and get it”, and under normal circumstances I would, but I need to get sleep since I have work at 4 in the morning. And either way it’s besides the point. The point is it’s pretty f****d up that not a single person could even be bother to answer the damn phone. I would say I’ll just go to a different Walmart but they are all the same load of trash. Won’t catch me in there once this is all over with.
Worst wallmart ever, horrible service. They do not have enough cashiers, and when they have it, they are too slow. To buy baby formula the costumer has to make 2 lines, one to pay regular items, and another to the service area to pay for the formula. It seems like they love to make people waste their time.

2021-07-12The wireless provider employee services were horrible Ive been here about a hour plus. The electronic associate told me I had to speak to a man in a black shirt. When he popped up he was helping someone and the electronic associate told him I needed help. He started helping a second person. That took at least thirty minutes. Then another guy approached him. I went to his podium to make sure I didnt get skipped again. I told him I needed a phone. He acted like he didnt hear me. I said it again and he was like sorry I tried to get to you earlier. I replied ok can I but this phone. He gave me a phone that was opened and sent me to get rung up at the front. I realized there wasnt a charger inside. So I went back to electronics and asked did he have any new ones. He handed me a new one. I went back up front and paid for my stuff and the phone wouldnt ring up. The associate at self checkout said he wasnt suppose to give me the phone. A manager tried to ring me up because he is missing. It rung up for $200 instead of the $150 that is advertised. The electronic associate stated that he would need to fix the error. Long story short the man is still missing.

2022-04-19So I had bought a Walmart Plus subscription to drop ship products to my customers and for a while it was working great until on day Walmart terminated my account. I was so angry because I was making Walmart so much money and it didn’t make sense. They won’t even send me a refund for that subscription. That’s why I am moving to Amazon the better platform.

2022-06-18I hate Walmart & will only go if absolutely necessary which is not the usual anyway thankfully! I do my best to avoid this place like the plague! Staff are almost always oblivious & unwilling to assist customers needs! They never seem to know anything when you do finally find someone to assist you. More than once Ive encountered attitudes & improper product information from associates. Shelves are either empty or a disaster & The bathrooms closely resemble a 3rd world country! I would rather shop @ the $1 Store than deal w. This disgrace any day!

2022-06-06Walmart in Middletown has become my go-to store.The Manager, Chris, was very responsive when I sought help acquiring supplies for my classroom. Walmart has also stepped up their produce, and I’ve been spending more time here than in Shoprite while trying to keep grocery costs down. I don’t know why I didn’t shop here more often before!

2022-05-30Please be aware if you order for delivery, this store often takes 60 to 90 minutes past the pickup time to bring the order to the drivers. Not the fault of the employees. There arent enough shoppers/pickers because Walmart pays slave wages. Just please dont rate badly or remove tips because your order came late.

2022-06-11This Walmart consistently has prices for items displayed beneath the items that are not accurate. Once you check out, you see on the display at the (self check out) registers that you are being charged more for the item. This is especially true for items in the frozen food section. Also, it seems that Walmart has now turned their greeters at the front entrances to the store into improvised Security , who ask customers for their receipts as they leave the store. Legally, you do not have to show these greeters or ANYBODY in a SECURITY guard uniform, or in Walmarts case, a sloppy, partial security uniform, your receipt. Once you pay for your items at the register, ( point of purhase) they become YOUR LEGAL PROPERTY and you are under NO legal obligation to prove to minimum wage ( or slightly above) security guards that you didnt STEAL merchandise from the store. Dont believe me ? Look it up for yourself... I find it amazing how Walmart actually has so many of their customers trained like dogs, or sheep, if you prefer, to hold out their receipts to be checked as they are leaving the store. Sad.....from Walmart treating their customers like thieves to paying customers ALLOWING THEMSELVES to be TREATED like thieves....
