Walmart Supercenter in other cities:
Hi everyone. Letting whos ever interest, Walmart in Niagara Falls, NY. (I live in the Falls) and Walmart in Wmsville on Transit road (I was visiting the area) has in-stock vehicle bike carriers by Allen and bike strollers by Allen and Schwinn. $100 for Schwinn $140.00 (rounding off to nearest dollar). Not many left. I bought mine in either store so I decided to buy mine today.
I have been going to this Walmart since I was a little kid.. Its your typical Walmart usually in nicer condition and cleaner than others but but pretty typical. They usually have everything that I need very extensive list of items as Walmart usually does. There are some old timers that have been working there since it seems they won it seems day one its nice to see if familiar face stick around for so long it makes you feel welcome definitely recommend this Walmart.
I spent everyday for over 12 days straight being purposely lied to by every single employee at every single worker and manager at every single location before Christmas when they were selling the ps5 and xbox series x and they were lying at every location so that the workers could buy and sell the things for $1,000 online!!! I am now sick for the first time in several months now!!! There are dozens and dozens of videos out talking about this store and all of their bs this month!!!
I stopped into Walmart on transit Road this morning and was looking for Diet Coke there was none on the display. Nice associate his name is Woodrow Went in the back to see if they had it for me he came out carrying 4 2liter bottles which wasn’t the right thing but he was awesome and said no no I’ll go find the good stuff For you!Employees like this you should be proud of Walmart what a nice man! He made my day better just by his smile! He had on his game face and absolutely was there to help me! You also have a lady named Mary that is always on the main aisle and is always so sweet says good morning every time I’m there! Keep hiring folks like this WalmartUpdate……. Savanna in the pharmacy has excellent customer service. My sister and I were looking for something on the shelf and couldn’t find it while we were waiting for my sister‘s prescriptions. Savanna came from behind the pharmacy counter and helped us find the product that we were looking for and also made some suggestions to my sister for generic prescriptions that she could get because the cost of the one she needed were so expensive. Great job Savannah
Trusty ol’ Walmart. Maybe my experiences are different because I know what I want when I go in and if my desired products aren’t available, I simply make a substitute. Never had a problem with employees, prices, etc. The only hiccup I encounter is maybe some grumpy customers! This Walmart is well-run and has friendly staff. Anyone who says otherwise is probably reading into it too deeply and doesn’t shop here enough to know the associates!
Everything is locked up and if you try to find someone with the keys to open a section you need something from good luck.Another time go to tire and lube and what they said would be an hour turned in to 2.Also tried calling that dept specifically for over an hour straight and no answer.
The checkout lines are usually ridiculous. Some of the stock people are pretty rude. They act like your in their way. I completely understand they do have a job to do. So please let me shop and I will get right out of your way so you can do your job. Please dont get me wrong Ive met some super friendly employees there. Who will carry on a good conversation its wonderful. Yes to be fair that is how the world is. Theres some good and bad ones out there ,but when its any type where your working with people in a customer service base. Then please be curtious it is a job requirement. UPDATE: Having the self checkouts make it a little quicker depending on time of day .
Of all the Walmarts in Buffalo, this is the best one Ive been to and continue to shop, despite there being another one much closer. This location is kept clean and well-stocked. Cashiers are proficient and work expeditiously. Employees are ready to help you when you need it, instead of hiding or running away, like some other locations.
Absolutely rediculous! The lines were backed up for at least 10-15 minutes because everyone cashes themselves out now. I was not the only person that was annoyed by this wait. They need to start putting employees at the registers when the lines get congested like this, it is just basic commen sense.
I wanted to give half of a star but that wasn’t an option. I placed an online order since Black Friday deals were going on and I wanted to pick up in store when it became available on 11/9. The next day, I was notified that it was available and would be held until 11/16. I went yesterday (11/14) to pick up my order, when I checked in I received a notification that my order was cancelled because it wasn’t picked up on time. I explained to them how I wasn’t past my time and I wasn’t able to pick up that some day because I had Covid and was still in isolation and worked the following days after it. I was then told how I had to rebuy the items and ended up paying double for what I originally bought. I talked to a manager and was told that they would get back to me when they get around to it. Moral of the story, Walmart doesn’t care about keeping people safe and they expect you to pick up in store that day regardless of Covid. I’m extremely disgusted and will be contacting the BBB.
A mask mandate is in effect in Erie County, I was disappointed that Walmart was allowing people to walk around without masks endangering the health of. their employees and customers. I have been vaccinated and had the booster shot but still wore a mask it’s the law in Erie County and I don’t want to endanger my health or those around me.
Just okay to me. A lot of times the shelves are not stocked. Everything is behind glass including razors, headlights, etc. Then you have to wait 20 to 30 minutes to get your items. Most employees are very rude. Can’t blame them overworked and underpaid. Terrible company overall.
I do my grocery shopping here and most of my household shopping. Convient, the prices are good for most things. And the only issue i have with their food is the bakery bread goes bad like overnight. So best keep it in the fridge or freezer. Not a huge gluten free section, but good alternatives for frozen dinners ill say. Overall my favorite walmart
If you are looking for cheap products you have come to the right place. Expect to replace most items based on the price you pay. In fact if they sold you higher quality items you would buy less and save more. Selling cheap products ultimately hurts everyone, but the store itself is pretty well maintained.Update! The security system is run in a room where they illegally surveil you (please read your rights as an american citizen) look up at the camera 🎥 in the city there are hundreds more than out here. But it is not run by caucasian or african american people.I will NEVER shop at walmart again.Hope this review shows that low price in exchange for invasion of privacy is a tradeoff people are willing to take.Wish you well. Wouldn’t be surprised if walmart’s social media team reached out. They couldn’t pay me enough to not post this.Foolish people run systems foolishly.I don’t want my money going to a leech on society.Feel free to disagree. All opinions are valid. Just sharing mine.
The employees were doing a really good job trying to keep up with their departments. Right on their toes with answers from customer questions. There we plenty of customers, but also had staff tracking the number in and out.Overall, this was one of my much more pleasant shopping experiences at a Walmart in a VERY long time!
I ordered tires online and went to go pick them up at the auto care department at approximately 3:25PM on 11/13/2021. The gentleman told me we install them for free however they couldn’t install them at the moment. Winter and snow just entered into Buffalo and I needed these tires installed, plus it snowed today. He said he won’t be able to install them because they are closing. I said your hours show you close at 7 its only 3:25PM. Then he said we are short staffed. I took a peek in the garage area there was about 3-4 gentleman in the garage working on no cars at all. After a 40 minute drive going back and forth to this particular Walmart and not getting them installed was really frustrating and a huge inconvenience. I won’t be doing business with them anytime soon.
I had to buy some contacts and get my new prescription for lenses and glasses. This had to be the best customer service Ive received at an optician store since 2006. The doctor really took his time getting my eyes right. Him and his assistant did not try to over sell me (like their big box competitors) on some BS. They explained all of my options very well.
This place is a really nice Walmart to go to. The lines arent super long and the employees are pretty helpful. One of the best things about this walmart is that they have an oil changing section so I can shop and get my oil changed at the same time. its super convenient and time saving.
Went to Walmart, spent a couple of hours shopping for groceries, etc. Went to checkout and always paid by check with no problem. Went to pay this time with a check and guess what, store having computer issues with the check reader. Wish I knew ahead of time. Would not have wasted my time there. Would of been nice if they said something overhead that they could not take checks. They have no problem telling you over and over when the store is closing.
Been in line for over 20 minutes with a full cart, some of which is frozen, or was I should say. I literally called and asked for a manager as they have 1 register with an employee at it and 3 employees standing around at returns. Still havent opened a second employee run register, about to leave my cart.*Update another register did open within another 5 minutes and the woman was very sweet and efficient!
Two words. Stay Away. We were in line for 20 min. in 1 of 2 cashiers. After being 3rd in line cashier said hes closing. Took the one in front of us. We had to move to the only other cashier. Ridiculous. Thought about just leaving the cart. This is the Transit rd. Store. Never going again..
I waited in health and beauty for assistance at a case with facial mask and no one ever came. I asked an employee 2 isles over and he said had no key. When I asked if he could find someone to open the case his reply was no one works here. When I asked if he could get a manager his reply was I dont know where she is she is in the back. Of course I left but my thought was, if youre going to lock up merchandise because of theft at least have a plan for paying customers to access the marchandise.
Called 3 times for curbside pickup with no answer. Had to call 1800.number to get someone out there with my order. 45 minutes wasted. Get home to find the product was used and missing half its components. After talking with the store manager SAM its obvious why the store is so dysfunctional.
They have a variety of items including a grocery section thats well equiped. Its very convienent. They also have an area to pick up lunch or dinner with a limited menu as a take out. Even small stores in front such as eyeglasses and hearing aids. You can get tires for your car at reasonable rates. If there is a negative its trying to find something in the store because it is a large store. If they dont have something in stock, I can go on line and order it at Wal-Mart.com.
Someone stole my trolly which had my sons stationary items and many other things.. thankfully the payments were not done.. but it still had my families personal photos which we printed in Walmart itself for $13.5. we complained at the customer care , we were asked to do a police complain.. however we didnt thinking it would be tedious to do follow up with police formalities... But we expected some prompt help from customer care .. atleast they could have helped by getting our pictures printed so that we are not at loss..
I like the idea of shopping aisles being 1 way to help with distancing. It should be enforced though because no accountability makes it a wasted effort. So.eine in the store should assure customers wear masks. Too many people not so I left. Wont be back any time soon.
Their produce area is very bright and well-lit they have a nice selection. The store is kept very neat and clean. The only downfall is their shopping carts - they consistently have bad wheels, make a ton of noise and are very difficult to push. When you get a good cart - dont let it out of your sight. LOL
Great store it really is I go here all the time but its annoying that I gotta check my receipt with leaven the store I know I dont have to and im gonna start saying no.im not a criminal and it makes me fell like Im being accused of stealing. Other then that this would be a 5 star review.because the staff in all the departments are friendly and helpful thank you guys !
You know what sucks about this store? They have 15 registers and not ONE has a cashier. They have a self checkout which is fine if you have only a few items. I went to service desk and sort of nicely demanded a real cashier or Im leaving the cart full and walking out. I had a real cashier in two mins.
Went in with some questions in the electronics department about flash drives and iPhones. I believe his name was Dave, he said he had worked for Walmart for about 10 years maybe more. I just want to say, this guy, deserves to be manager at any store selling electronics!. I worked with OfficeMax for years and this guy was way more educated on the topic, than my manager was, at office depo/max in five minutes! He’s awesome! He knows his stuff! If they don’t make him manager here, they should pay him more than whatever he’s making, even if he’s making good money! This guy is certified and has the educational background that blows everyone else out of the water that I’ve met, when dealing with electronics! He had ways around my problem that I didn’t know existed. And he also told me what my next step should be if I want to get done what I need to get done, that’s is why I came in! Prob the best experience I have ever had at a Walmart bec of this guy! He is quick with his knowledge and is also up to date on the modern tech AS WELL AS the go to- old fashioned ways dealing with electronics. That is hard to find these days especially at a Walmart! Really a great employee!
I will never shop at this location again. I came to this walmart because it has things my other walmart doesnt have! My daughter asked the employee Arielle,in the media section for help with the nintendo switch controllers. She said to my daughter Im clearly helping somebody right now. In a extremely rude tone. Then she had came over to help me and was rude about it the entire time. I left after spending $400 there and was extremely upset. I decided to give it another go today and went to the media to ask a COMPLETE DIFFERENT person a question and the person behind the counter was having a conversation with the employee Arielle. I directly asked the person behind the counter about playstation cards and she ignored me, arielle then said well Im on break so um your gonna have to ask her in a rude tone. I went to go report it to the manager and they told me theyd get someone else to help me. The manager eric. I went back to the media and eric was still trying to have arielle help me when i already made it extremely clear that i felt uncomfortable near this employee. So i said again that i feel uncomfortable and this man tells me that they both will be helping me. This girl is team lead as well and she does not deserve her position. My experience here was completely unprofessional, i will not be visiting this location again. I left my cart filled with over 300 dollars worth of things and walked out.
My husband and I went to Walmart today to get some essential items. As you came in the door, there were two employees standing there. The one was looking at people and writing things down on a pad. I think maybe she was counting people that came in with masks on? Not sure? There was a hand sanitizer dispensary there, but it was empty! Seriously Walmart!!! Typical of Walmart! Thats why we try not to go there!!!
No womens white cotton (I like 100% cotton) crew socks size 9 or above. Different stores that I visit have socks with different synthetic ingredients, such as polyester, nylon, lycra, latex. Many stores (other than Walmart) have crew socks that are tight and the ingredients are uncomfortable on my skin. Im more interested in what they are made of than what they look like.🐦
This Walmart stands out to me for what seems like wider isles. Extremely clean. Better organized. More polished. The garden center comes across as a bit bigger than some. Very well supplied. Being in Eastgate theres a huge parking area. Lots of stores. Friendly staff. Located on Transit Road between Maple and Sheridan.
Store was very clean. Nothing laying in isles!!!! Open 24 hours was my favorite. It is a necessity for me as I work an off shift. Labeled nicely to find your way around. Lost a star because a blockade was up by the grocery Dept. This store is so huge its enough walking through shopping without having to go around too. They also have big sizes and wide shoes. Self check out also available. I dont usually like Walmart but I did like this one.
The check in process for picking up an order seemed to take longer than it should have. But I did get a very smooth and quiet cart. The cashier couldnt find the UPC code ( he called it a USB) so I went back to get another product only to find that it was on there the whole time. But I did get a sweet necklace for only $1
I want to say that the Walmart Auto Store is great. A special shout out to Madison and Auto Tech Ted, both were great. Also thanks to Auto Manager Eric who took care of me. I purchased tires on line and went to pick them up and have them put on my car. However the tires I purchased were inadvertently put on another car, Eric quickly rectified this and had different/ better tires put on my car at no extra cost. All the staff in the repair shop were great and I would highly recommend getting tires or other work done there.
Walmart in general is a decent store to shop at, however, this trip seemed a bit more frustrating. The cashier wasnt particularly friendly, he didnt seem to know what to do with my coupons, I was double charged for an item and one of my coupons wasnt scanned at all. Now I need to go back to get my money situation straightend out and being on such a tight budget I cant afford unnecessary trips places because someone is having an off day. As far as every thing else, they did seem to be out of a few items that I was looking for, other than that the trip was productive.
Its big, has a ton of stuff, but as someone thats never been there before and was there for one very specific item (Tide stick for a stain on my shirt) a place so large with employees that werent sure where I could find it, or pointed me to the same place that I already looked, I was really disappointed. I searched several aisles, end caps, and racks by the registers, to no avail. The Tops across the street was even worse, somehow.I wasted enough time that I had to use their restroom, which was a complete mess...Maybe a standard shopping trip when I was familiar with the store layout would be fine, but not being able to get one item quickly or get any useful help was a real disappointment.
Very disappointed in the customer service dept. My daughter lost her car keys in the store, the employees could not have been more disinterested, less helpful towards a customer who clearly was distraught at not being able to get into her car, and worried someone could walk out and drive it away with a quick hit of the alarm button. She eventually found them on her own, but was really upset at how poorly they treated her.
I understand we are in the mix of a Pandemic and Walmart wants everyone to wear masks. However Walmart has enough money to pay employees to stand at each exit/entrance to ensure masks are being worn. I have a problem craming in and out of 1 door. Parking is the same way everyone parks to the side where the 1 door is open. Not to mention on numerous occasions when i go there after walking a distance to the entrance and standing in line for the mask check the shelves are almost empty. Walmart needs to work out their own issues and be a part of the solution not problem. Walmart needs to take a page out of Home Depots book of dealing with the public during the Pandemic.
ALWAYS AMAZED.. LOOKING FOR BASIC CAMPING GEAR.. CHECK OUT SPORTS AND HARDWARE STORES PLUS OTHERS.. NO INVENTORY.. PRICING STUPID.. OF COURSE WALMART HAS WHAT I NEED..PRICING WAS GREAT.. HAD CERTAIN TOOLS COMBINED.. WOW.. LOVE SHOPPING LOCAL...IF THEY DONT HAVE IT !!! . CHECK OUT WALMART..
Grocery pickup is on point. Ive been using for months religiously without fault.Employees care and are all friendly and attentive.Ive not had any issues with selection and substitutions are always pretty solid.Grocery pickup beats waiting in one of the 3 registers out of twenty that are actually open.Garden center is a bit sloppy and lackluster. The outside portion had the heaters blasting last I went and it was 70 ish out. That was strange.Employees do what they can to help. Great work.
The front bathroom had urine all over the floor around all the toilets and urinals! It smelled horrible! You could smell it even in at the checkout lines. The paper towel holder was all broken as well! I first went kn when I arrived at walmart and found this! I went in again 2+ hours later and it was still the same mess!! Ive never been in such a nasty bathroom!! Unbelievable Walmart!! Thank god I was just visiting the area and wont have to go there again!!
This is a 24 hour walmart. There were employees everywhere, but the only way to check out was to use the self checkout lines. This is fine, but that area was full of customers and very busy-even at 7am! The store itself seemed pretty clean, but there were alot of carts full of returns and stock just sitting around. It made it a bit hard to navigate through some of the aisles.
The employees here do nothing to want you to shop here. None of the staff ask if you need help find anything and they are close to never out on the floor or putting things back where they belong after everyday if a person left an item out in another department. None of the employees care about your car in the auto center either and they will take 3 to 4 hours for tires and just getting an oil change you wait in order as told but you will get done in about 1 hour. The managers dont seem to be in charge and are just another employee and let alot go if someone is messing up. They are also not nice, happy, or anything! Just another store to run in if you dont care about quality!
WalMart stores can always be a train wreck. Never know what you will get. I dont shop here much but needed a battery for the vehicle. Went to the auto department and Maddison helped me out. She was pleasant and got to the battery I needed. No issues today so Ill give them a 5 star for the great automotive service by Maddison! Keep up the great work.
I was there with a manual from my new sound bar asking an employee what I needed to hook it up, he was clueless. Luckly a customer was near and must of heard us and told me how to hook it up and turned out I didnt need anything, it came with everything. Whoever that customer was I am very thankful that he was there to or I would of left very unhappy customer. If you work in a department you should know what your doing or you should not be in that department working.
This is a larger walmart. Know there are a lot of people going in and out. I dont know if the amount of people shopping here is why the shelves are on low stock or no stock for certain items but know going in right now some stock is low. Also if you are concerned in regards to covid this may not be the walmart you want to shop at as it is crowed and busy. We were able to get most items on our list or substitute other items for what we went in for. Overall its a Walmart but it was croweded the day we went.
Wal-Mart is one of few places that is always consistent. In my opinion, things you want and/or need can be found quickly. If you need help, most of the associates are happy to assist. Ive been to several states, Wal-Mart is always the same. To me, thats a good thing! Please, keep it this way...
The customers there are always a sight to behold. People of all shapes and sizes and from all cultural backgrounds. Not saying that thats a bad thing, but not saying its a good thing either. Tons of products (some cheap and poorly made, some expensive and high quality) and the widest selection of products of any store in history. Walmart is after-all, Walmart. Dont expect too much from this place.
I visited today 6/3/19 I needed help finding a tourmaline ceramic flat iron 1 in. Kim (I think) was scanning items I asked for her help she went the extra mile to check boxes of items just shipped, after checking several she found the right box with the correct flat iron & she was so very pleasant. It is truly a pleasure to find someone who goes that extra mile. Please commend her for her helpfulness. We talked about how this flat iron helps people whose hair is growing back after chemo treatments.
I absolutely hate shopping here! Im ashamed to admit that I even support their business. If youre looking for something specific, time after time they dont have it in stock.Last time it was a garden hose holder. Said it was in stock on their website, not in the store. Today it was an automotive product. Walk all the way to the back corner of the store, and surprise, its an online only item.Your best bet to dealing with this company is to order online for pickup, but be aware they stop allowing you to pickup your items at 8 pm, regular hours.Every time I shop here, I have a bad experience. At least the store was clean and I didnt get accosted by an anti-theft agent at the door demanding in rude guise to produce my receipt and submit for inspection and a body cavity search.
Its a walmart so not much in the way of expectations but the last three times Ive come to this store there wasnt a single register with an employee to check you out. Its irritating that I need to spend my hard earned money here then check myself out. I didnt realize I was now an employee of walmart. I wish I at least got the employee discount.
Usually shop here at night. The cashiers & greeters are most always helpful & its relatively quick to get in and out. Nighttime isnt always the greatest when you need help in a particular department. Ive often had to go around the store looking for assistance, more often than not.
This is my favorite Walmart. Its the only Walmart Ive continued shopping at for over 20 years. Its clean, more than enough parking, prices and selection are average. The staff can be snooty but for the most part helpful. In the same plaza is KFC/Taco bell, subway, banks, Dollar tree and much more. Its simply in a convenient location. Also while they have busy days, they arent over crowded like the Walmarts closer to the cities. Before COVID-19 I would shop at night for finger foods, then park at the end of the parking lot for countless hours admiring the moon and stars. Sounds lame but if you want a safe, quiet place to just relax (ironically) this was a great place to be.
I was really upset because I had an individual that really wanted to come to Walmart and when we get there its no parking for our van so we had to park in a regular spot then someone blocked is in he was really upset that he had to wait in the cold so I could back the van out so he can get in. You guys need a designated spot for wheelchair vans not that junk you have now. Do better Wal Mart for wheelchair vans we like to shop too!!!!!
Atypical Walmart. A few really nice employees but most are just putting in the time. A great exception is the pharmacy, they are phenomenal! They are helpful and courteous. I just switched my pharmacy plan to the Walmart plan specifically because of them. The pharmacists and clerks are awesome. The rest of the store is pretty grubby and when stuff goes out of stock it can take months before they get it back again .Watch the pizza display up front. After a certain period they mark them down half price to $2.50 which you cant beat. Not the best pizza, but its ok. For $2.50 its well worth it.Also in the prepared hot food area the jalapeno poppers are great. Cheaper than you can buy them in the frozen section.Watch the clearance areas too and scan what you find. Many times its reduced below what the tag says and you can get stuff dirt cheap.
Were going through a difficult time in our country right now, but as much as possible it is good to maintain high standards. Yesterday at the Williamsville, NY Walmart I found the plant section to be extremely dry, with hundreds of plants dying. I did bring it to the attention of three associates. So, I went ahead and watered many of the plants, upon finding the overhead hoses. (I am not an employee). It seems like one of the talkative associates in a nearby department should have been directed to the plant section. I may have saved Walmart hundreds of dollars. But couldnt an associate do what I did?
I usually go to this Walmart after i get out of work, around 10pm, and every time i go its been pleasant. Several of the stock associates always say hi when im shopping around, and theres usually an older gentleman at the front greeting and checking receipts that always has a smile on his face and is friendly to everyone.
I shop this store often. Earlier today I had a very pleasant experience with, Mike in the dairy section. My wife and I are retired empty nesters and and. a gallon of milk goes a long way for us. I explained the situation to Mike and that because of coroniavirus I did not want to go out of the house again anytime soon. He went out of his way, with a smile on his face, to go behind the front loaded cooler and get me a milk with a much longer freshness date. Thats service I appreciated and wanted to be sure in some small way he would get recognized for it.
Asked a employee to open a glass case. He told me to ask someone else. That was pretty rude. Went to customer service to ask for help. Told me to go back and wait. Twenty minutes later, grabbed a manager walking by and she opened the case. I was allowed to walk the item to the register myself, which defeats the purpose of locking items up. How does this company still exist? Bite the bullet and pay the upcharge at target. Consider it a convenience fee.
So my mother and I went shopping and had to get razor blades for shaving. I had to come along because she doesnt know which blades to buy. So we had to find an employee to unlock the blades. We ended up finding an employee named Malcolm, who was very lazy and unhelpful. When we asked him about unlocking the razor blades he pawned us off to the busy pharmacy people who had a line we would have to wait in. Luckily before my mom stormed out in a rampage, we asked one more employee to help and he did go put it on the PA system for us and the rest went smoothly.
Horrible service. There was only one guy at customer service taking care of a line of people. The lady he was assisting had a cart full of returns. There was at least 3 other workers in the area who worked in customer service but not one helped including the assistant manager. The employee working behind the counter asked the ASM for help and he said he will be back. He came back 5 minutes later with 2 of the other associates who are able to help customer but they all just stood around trying to figure out what the issue was with the employee who was still waiting on the lady with the cart full. At this point we had been waiting for 20 minutes. Finally one of the other associates started helping. I was 3rd in line. When it was my turn and they did my return it said my return was denied. They kept telling me it was returned and refunded. Now I have to keep checking my bank to see if I receive my refund. They could not explain to me the reasoning for the decline they just kept saying it was refunded. That is to be determined.
Bathrooms stalls are not clean and smell of urine and poop. I would not want anybody child or elderly in those bathroom in the pm shift.. It was no soap to wash your hands either. It was only 5 stalls and they wasnt maintain. Unfortunately for the overnight crew to have to come to work and see that messy bathroom. I would think that a manager would check to be sure the bathrooms are being clean and maintain on a hourly basis as an customer services to its customers and families that patronize the store daily. Walmart Supercenter on TRANSIT RD is not where I want to shop because how can I trust the food services if the bathrooms are dirty and no soap . I shopped for a hour and half and the bathroom stayed nasty and messy for that long or longer.
The cashier was slow,. Then----- she had no change, bills or change,. She put the light on no one came she walked then the head lady came over with nothing,. Went to neighboring cashout and got change for me, I dont know what she did for the next guy who had been standing there waiting. It took about 10 minutes. Disgrace... I blame the supervisor for her ignorance.
I waited an hour and asked 3 different workers to empty the bottle return bins for them to finally empty it and tell me the machine was not working Wal-Mart employees do not care about customer service at all and are as well slow with everythi g they do. Ive been shopping at Wal-Mart for a few years now and am usually satisfied when I leave. The employees need to be trained in customer service as well as given more knowledge of their job. Today was a complete joke. If I could rate this store a zero I would but it will not allow you to post unless you rate it. I will be placing a call into corporate on store 2355.
Being a biracial 36 year old male that has dealt with racial profiling my entire life I was shocked and appalled by the experience my friends and I had during our late night excursion to wal-Mart. I being the person I am had a late night sweet tooth that I wanted to fill so I suggested to go to Wal-Mart. After finding the perfect cake we began to explore the store. Not too long after walking around the two black males I was with was approahed by a Erie County Sheriff Deputy with then began to follow them throughout the store and stopped and asked them on more than one occasion of they were going to buy something. That same Deputy also approached another one of my friends(white 24 year male) and asked him, Do you actually have any mo at to spend? My friend politely walked away as the Deputy continued to walk behind him.Upon cashing out I was the only person in our group that bought anything and then I was the only person that the store sensors went off for. As the Wal-Mart employee reviewed my receipt and items I purchased she kept l looking at my 25 year old black male friends pockets. She made him feel so uncomfortable that he voluntarily emptied his pockets and asked if she wanted him to removed articles of clothing.Except for the very last 5 minutes in the store were we greeted or asked if we needed assistance. At no point did we assisted in the electronic section of the store after we asked random staff members for help. It was by far not only the worse experience I had at Wal-Mart but it is the worse experience I have had at any store ever. Why stay open 24 hours if your staff is not going to offer the same qaulity of service during all hours of operation.BIGGEST DISAPPOINTMENT I HAVE HAD AT A WALMART SINCE I HAVE BEEN GETTING EXCITED ABOUT GOING TO THEM. I MAY NOW THINK TWICE ABOUT GOING TO WALMART AT NIGHT.
Its Wal-Mart so what do you really expect. As far as customer goes some of the staff is rude. The sales associate at the fitting rooms was not helpful and barely even around the area to assit. In addition to answering the phone by hey walmart instead of listing her name or department. The cashier was not wearing a name tag, and checking her phone as she was checking my items out making the pace in line go by slower. There is no need for cashiers to be touching or having their cellphone out at checkout. Of course the prices and store is good it is a decent Wal-Mart .. the staff just damage the image of the place.
I use to come to USA for training and tourism purpose but this time I was really disappointed by the service provided by their staff on my purchase of beer as I was asked to provide them my identification proof that Im old enough to bit these beverages, which I provided. But I was denied by this justification that your ID card which wasnt issued by the USA government is unacceptable.I did argue that its not my first time that I was buying these beverages from Walmart and everytime when I show my ID (since Im on tourist visa), I always get these items.I was so disappointed that I decided to not to come to this store anymore. On the other hand, when I went to TOPS across the road and along my other grocery items and my beverages, I provided my ID card which wasnt issued by USA government, I was allowed to get these items.Walmart has to come up with a solution on this that whenever any tourist comes to USA and he/she buys these items, at least their official documents must be acceptable rather than insisting for an original passport as we cant carry passports in our hands when we roam around. When I asked for the duty supervisor from that guy, he said that he himself was the duty supervisor, so I decided to leave the store along other grocery items.I was really unhappy by this kind of attitude of staff towards customers and I believe that Walmart really regard customer service which in this case at Buffalo NY wasnt observed.
I visit only when absolutely necessary. The couple times I used their pick up in store feature, I stood around for ages waiting for someone, anyone, to show up at the counter to assist. A couple employees swung by and apathetically said someone else would show up. Decent prices, sometimes, but not worth the aggravation.
I went to the walmart on transit in Amherst this morning and i was so disappointed..and heres why...1 cashier. Was open. A gentleman was having difficulty w the credit machine and not 1 single person came to help him resulting in a very long line. Thats just plain laziness...never coming back to this location!!!

2021-12-16I love shopping at any Wal-mart! I was out looking for a cookie cake for my son birthday! Found my cake and checked out within 5 minutes. I was happy to go in find what I needed and check right out. Usual when I go to my local Walmart I have to wait for like 30 to 40 minutes just to purchase a few items. This Wal-Mart was the closest one at the time. Its located in a huge shopping plaza. This is a huge Wal-Mart compared to the ones a usual shop at and all the shelves were all stocked up!

2022-03-04They were out of a few things I normally get, but with the pandemic still affecting a lot of products, I know its not their fault. Bathrooms could be cleaner, but compared to some other locations, theyre not terrible. Same with cleanliness overall in the store. Paper bags that you need to purchase at checkout are large but not very thick, so you need to buy more because you have to pack them lighter. Better off to bring your own, if you can remember, or purchase heavier duty bags while there. Parking lot can be a nightmare, best to park further back, if youre able to walk.

2022-06-08I bought a bike that day, but it couldnt fit in the trunk. Ran around a bit, and fortunately the security guard found a tool helping me remove the front wheel. He did above and beyond his call of duty. Excellent!

2022-04-09Our experience was better today. People were friendlier and helpful. The shelves were still pretty empty but not horrible. They didnt have any noodles at all.

2021-12-07I love that anytime I need something this store is open. The variety of choices makes for a terrific shopping experience. They also have an automotive department that does some services.

2022-05-13Depressing how prices keep rising. Case in point 2% milk at Wegmans 1 gallon $2.49 Chocolate milk 1 gallon $3.71. So I figured, Im not going to pay that for Chocolate milk. Surely, I will go where there is everyday low prices @ Walmart and get the 2% milk around the same price and the chocolate milk, relatively cheaper. WRONG The 2% at Walmart was $3.71 and the chocolate milk at $3.72. Stupid me, shouldve bought the 2% at Wegmans. I wont make that mistake again. I will look prices up before driving out there...this way, I wouldve known the chocolate milk was 1 penny more and the 2% milk was outrageously higher by $1.22. May sound nitpicky, but every cent counts.

2022-04-17Absolutely the worst Walmart I have ever been too. The employee was EXTREMELY RUDE. I will never ever shop at this Walmart again and don’t recommend it to anyone else. I then proceeded to ask the employee for his name and he disconnected the call on me. I am now sitting on hold for over 45 mins waiting to speak with a manager.

2022-07-02Everything is nice and clean. Extremely short staffed though. Last time I shopped there was not one single cashier Lane for checkout. I had to do self check out on an entire shopping cart full of groceries. This was during the day too! No one was working deli counter either. Also, if you try to order online for pick up, you have to wait 5 days now! No more next day pick ups.
