Other than being out of stock from the shipping crisis, great store, friendly employees, ease of finding things. Flower dept is full, Rx is bigger than some others, and food section is great again, may not have everything you want due to the shipping issues
Rang for an associate 10 times within 20 minutes, no one ever showed up. If you need baby formula you’re better off getting it elsewhere. Considering this place just opened I thought they’ll try to suede you to coming again. 3 associates came by and said they’ll find someone to open it for me, after it’s already been 20 something minutes. After 10 more minutes no one came.
Definitely an upgrade from the Middle Island Walmart! Very organized and clean. I love the industrial feel of the building itself. Definitely happy to drive an extra 10 minutes to come here.
Customer service staff is horrible. The managers arent any better. Bought a battery there and on the battery it says three or warranty and it also has the date that the battery was made. They would not exchange it without the receipt but its 8 months old and I had a 3 warranty. It has 22 on it. When I was in Connecticut I returned my sisters battery because it wasnt good and they gave her another battery right there at Walmart no hard time nothing
Great place if you enjoy a crazy search upon leaving the store.. Getting a little overzealous I you ask me. Some dont care and sometimes you have 2 employees searching your bags.. Welcome to Walmart.. Take off all your close and empty your bags. Enjoy your day.
Great place! If you need it...you can find it here...no shopping store to store. Nice to find a so clean and in order store! And...the cashiers and the floor staff (shelf stockers) are always so nice and make it pleasant trip worth going!
I enjoy shopping here I have experienced really great service from the Cashiers and at Customer Service they are very manner able and helpful.My issue is seating I am Semi-Disable and need seating there is no benches to sit outside while waiting for the bus I ride I have had other people ask me have you put benches outside I said no which would be great for Seniors or people who walk with Cane
Very large Walmart. Everything you can possibly want.. Im from Saratoga springs NY so the way employees work is much different to me. They will check everything you cashed out with using the receipt.. I just walked out to get my SUV to be prepared for her after checkout,and I was halted to make sure I didnt have anything I was stealing.. in a very aggressive style.. the people who shop there are pretty good at being unfriendly.. but unfortunately as for the aggressive search too many people steal, and they need to take those measures.. blame the thieves not the store..🤘
Didnt have a good experience due to the fact when I needed to find something the employees that I asked for help told me the stuff I was looking for Walmart doesnt sell which I know it was a lie. because Walmart always has the stuff I need so I end up finding the stuff I need by looking for myself not relying on the employees that should know Walmart inventory. To anybody that reads this dont ask employer for help look for it yourself youll find it especially when employees dont want to be bothered theyll tell you its not their or they dont sell it.

Its a nice Walmart but customer service just SUCKS! we went to return an online item we purchased and this was the closest Walmart from our home. The employee in the return place name Dina, was very rude. She was loud and the people behind us in the line was even complaining because of her attitude. My husband brought an item in the cart and he asked Dina, should he put it back in the rack, she loudly said, no leave the item right front of this counter with a very bad attitude. This lady definitely has bad customer service skills. I dont think she chose the right career with this type of attitude. Train your employees Walmart! Thats all u can do or people will start noticing and stop going there! Giving u a heads up! U welcome!
The store has everything from fresh produce, deli, bakery, to home goods. The store is huge and fairly clean 👏Departments Include:Deli, Produce, Meat & Seafood, Dairy, Grocery, Baby & Infants, Apparel, Paper Goods, Chemical/Cleaning, Pets, Stationary, Electronics, Crafts, Home & Kitchen, Toys, Seasonal, Garden, Auto, Hardware, Sporting Goods, Outdoor, Auto Center, Pharmacy, BeautyDoes not yet sell Wine, Firearms.The Auto Center & Pharmacy is not yet open.
Christine from the Bakery did a Fantastic job helping me with my order that was initially done incorrectly. She was helpful and understanding of my frustrations and offered an alternative so I could have my bakery items in time.
I love this store. Its so huge, to be extremely honest, my daughter and I saw a chance to hop in a motorized cart and shop. Lol the more fun the more you shop.
Still needed to be stocked but I know they are going as fast they can still a good place for me to get lost in
As soon as I entered this clean establishment I was very impressed with not only how clean this place was, I was very pleased to see how full the shelves were. It’s far best the best Walmart I’ve ever been to in NY. I been to the one upstate in Middletown & Monroe. Been to the one in Valley Stream, Uniondale, Farmingdale, Westbury, Centereach & Commack. The one in Yaphank is far best then all the others I’ve been to. All the others are nicknamed Wally’s World. This one is definitely the best Walmart I’ve been to in NY.That being said. I guess this won’t be the best kept secret since I mentioned it here. Oh well. It is what it is.Worth the trip. I drove 1hr & 45 mins to actually see for myself why this establishment is rated so highly.I shall be returning again. And there’s a Sam’s Club in Medford only 6 mins away. Nothing like killing 2 birds with one stone.Feeling blessed.Thanks so much Walmart of Yaphank.Sincerely,A new Loyal Customer

Nice to see a store with product on their shelves and a very easy online pickup process.
Huge store. Grand opening day, November 3 , 2021, the store wad fully stocked. By the next two days, it was only 1/2 stocked. And, by my observation, they have not recovered, primarily due to the ships that are stuck waiting to get into the ports to deliver goods. Other than that the staff are mostly new, and the leadership is either inexperienced or incompetent, therefore the disorganization trickles downhill! Too many chiefs and not enough Indians. The associates who are qualified to lead, are sadly being overlooked! Some management are verbally abusive. The general manager seems like a great guy. But, he certainly had his work cut out for him. I can only HOPE that his constituents are up to the task of bringing the best out of their employees! The jury is still our on this!
Wow! So big you could fit a jumbo jet inside. So clean and well stocked. The produce was beautiful. My only want was to be able to know where I was going without wandering.
A well rounded shopping experience at this all new Walmart. I have found it to be well stocked so far. I like the idea of not only being able to shop for groceries but to also grab some other necessities along the way. Hopefully it remains clean and orderly well into the future.
Big big store. Nice to have super market I side store too but meat was near empty. Nice bakery section. Nice for a one stop shop for all. Lots of self checkouts but I didnt enjoy store clerks standing almost on top of you as we were checking out. I know a lot of people steal, I dont!
First time at this new store. All Walmarts should be this nice. A little light on the meat section. But a very good selection of everything you can want. Cant wait to go back.

Would have been a good experience if they didnt have 90 percent of there freezer stuff empty....I mean show cases with nothing what do ever. Probably due to shipping issues across the country but a shame for such a nice new big store to be half supplied.
Awesome store. Recycle center was clean and working. Clerks were kind and helpful. Clearance aisle was a little messy but overall store was neat and clean. Toy department was awesome
This place was built so that you would never have to go anywhere else. They have just about everything. You could literally walk around for two hours and dine in, and still have additional areas that you didnt explore during your shopping.
There were 20 people waiting to leave the store as employees rummage through peoples bags one by one. This is unacceptable. Its inconvenient, its demeaning, and its pretty dangerous with COVID. Walmart is not a wholesale club, they have no right to go through your stuff and even clubs are not this bad. Treat your customers with some dignity and respect. If your a customer, walk right past these employees, they have no right to do this to you.
This Walmart just opened up and is very nice inside with a big supermarket. Great prices. Fresh fruit and vegetables. The otherside of the store is a regular Walmart but much bigger. The only downfall I found is not all shelves are being used since they dont have enough products to fill in the shelves. Overall a nice Walmart with friendly staff and a clean parking lot.
Convenient location, great prices ! Lots of varieties of items and products... Always a fun place to shop . .. Pretty much your one stop to shop for almost everything you need and want !!
The people checking receipts at Target and Walmart are mildly obnoxious, but here it seems to be another level. I was shopping and saw an employee literally checking bar codes on items customers had purchased. There were probably about 20 customers in the whole store but this nonsense somehow cause a backup leaving the store. I put down what I was going to purchase and left. Treating paying customers like thieves is the definition of poor service. Ill go anywhere else but here.
Was my 1st time here. I was very impressed with the apparel stock. Plenty of clothes and clearance items! Produce was great. Bought the biggest artichokes Ive ever seen in my life! A must visit store.
I dont know if this is the new Walmart. I think its great they built one for ppl convenience. I do believe certain things a lot of things inside the new Walmart are over priced & expensive. This is WALLYS WORLD! They should be just as affordable as the other Walmart & super centers. I noticed NOT all Walmart have the same prices!! Just like the super markets if u go to other towns it can cost you more!
New Walmart - Still very clean and easy to find items. Employees are great. This is a very busy store but is very large. You have options for self checkout or cashier checkout.
For just recently being open I did somewhat expect cleanliness and that limit was definitely exceeded! There were workers everywhere assuring the place was spotless and the shelves were stocked! Everyone was so awesome and I’m so glad I was able to have this experience! Can’t wait to head back!
Amazing big store They have anthing you might need at prices that cant be beat. So many check out registers no waiting to check out. Everyone so nice and friendly. A special thanks to Bridget who helped me find my boot size. Just come here and you will never stop coming back. Thank you Walmart for saving me so much money
Store very clean alot of empty shelves . Only one person working deli dept . Another girl sweeping while customers waiting. She could have helped the other girl . Otherwise all good. 2/19 store still very nice and clean still alot of empty shelves. No one at the deli counter although the cold cuts were pre cut. Counter that sells chickens and hot food non existent. Too bad I had gotten a nice chicken there in the beginning.
Not ready for prime time. Need to stock up more product. Cat food, frozen foods.Im sure the problems will be solved. We love Walmart!!
Something that will especially make me lose interest and shop elsewhere, is a store thats visually dirty and disorganized. This location has been kept clean so far.I do wish the interior color scheme was more warm & cheerful.
Awesome! So big with everything you could want and all workers were nice and polite, my new go to shopping place for anything! The meat prices are a bit on the high side, other than that, I always find what I need every time!

This Walmart was really good the Eyeglass Center was great I even got a pedicure with my sister while I was there I thought $27 was a little high but the store was clean the luggage was expensive though but all in all it was a good store

Sssssooooo happy that this Walmart has a full supermarket!!!!!!!Due to the current state of our nation, many of the shelves are on a forced diet. This along with minimal staffing.Hopefully things will come together for this site. Personally, Im thinking of proposing marriage!!!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣👍👍👍
Really big and is like a grocery store and all around store. Make sure you have lots of time and lots of money. Really great store to get whatever you need and do big shopping.
Its exciting to have a Walmart so close to home now. This Walmart has a great market as well with a lot of pre made ready to eat meals. Its a bit empty like most stores these days, but I see this as being a very valuable place to buy things that used to be a 25 min trip to middle Island will now be a 9 minute trip down the road 👍👍
Disappointment, doesnt even carry guns and less of a selection of hunting knives. Less ammo. Less a lot of things what makes it bigger is the food section that costs more than going to Lidl. Lidl has better quality products for a lower price.
Came all the way from Florida just to take a quick poop and leave and I have to say it’s very clean and the people are very nice ! Thank you Walmart

Been having a good experience until my last time there i was in a rush and i went to the self check out ran out printer paper and the employee gave me an attude said i have to wait what takes 10 min to change printer paper that so much isnt my issue the rude employee is a turn off avoid this location ill be taking my business elsewhere!!

The Super Walmart, off of William Floyd Pkwy in Yaphank, is an amazing store. They offer EVERYTHING you need in a clean, well stocked store. The people who work there are friendly, courteous, and very helpful. So glad they opened up here!

Order online for pick up was told item was in stick, going yo pick it up received email stating item wasnt available. A big ordeal to cancel order, store could not cancel for me
Obviously its getting 5 star, first legit brand new Walmart Supercenter out here. The only thing missing is the gas pumps then itd be like my FL. ones Lol 😃 hopefully it doesnt turn into middle island or islandia... Beautiful store, beautiful location much needed!! But Im nostalgic I miss Suffolk (Parr) Meadows!! Woodstock 2 and Suffolk county fair Gucci fireworks there!! Oh well, but I remember!!
Massive place (hence supercenter) and to go along with its size they have a large selection of everything imaginable. You name it. Good costumer service and attention. You can find an associate almost anywhere. Would recommend.

Its honestly very convenient 😌 I have been told it can get extremely crowded. Not too bad I usually go at 9 am and by 11 the latest. The last cple of times were a little more packed.
Still not fully stocked bit will be a great store when they havd enough help and stocked up

Super stocked immaculate what all Walmarts should be. Line moved fast easy parking no issues. Did not feel at all like going into a dirty old Long Island walmart.

Quite large and it could be daunting but its alright. They have multiple checkouts and self service galore. Personally the earlier you go the better experience you will have but thats just my opinion.

Tray-Coach from customer service was beyond unprofessional. I came in today to buy my child a gift and I just wanted to confirm if the toy I was buying was not opened, or missing any parts from the toy. I asked Tray and she started yelling at me for asking her if it was opened already and returned. Tray then told me if I don’t have money don’t buy it !!! How unprofessional and disgusting. I am disgusted with the customer service at this Walmart !! Tray is very disturbing and very rude. Save time and go to MIDDLE ISLAND WALMART INSTEAD. This location is very ghetto and rude customer service especially from a so called manager !!!!
Considering their not completely stocked everything was organized all the worker were polite and really went out of their way to make the customer experience a pleasant one. I was also impressed with their supermarket.
Since opening this Walmart has had some stocking issues but nothing to bad in my opinion. This probably due to the world wide shipping problems everyone is having and not something this Walmart is doing wrong. If you go during a weekday morning before 10 the crowds are small and I get in and out fast.
The store was well stocked with plenty of open lines at checkout.

It actually is a very nice store. I am not a Walmart fan but it is a great, convenient place to have. I live in the apartment complex and the traffic is crazy and very dangerous. There have been multiple accidents since its opening. The town and property owners need to revamp the traffic circles. Other than that, the store has it all.

This visit was bad! The store shouldnt have opened yet. Shelves all over are empty. Grocery department is a joke, its half a store. It looks like Walmart rushed the grand opening to get it in for the holidays. Toy department is empty. Automotive department isnt even opened yet. Christmas decorations are almost non existent... There is a large empty area where Christmas stuff will be.This store is a big hit or miss... Dont brother checking it out now, give it a few more weeks

I don’t know where to begin. A lack of customer service, they knowingly sell customers damaged items, staff has no idea of how to resolve issues nor do they care about the customers, and the managers are not present when needed. I am going to cancel my Walmart credit card. I was excited when this store opened and spent $300 on opening day. Now I ama disappointment shopper. I called the company’s customer service number, but after what I’ve endured over the past few days, I highly doubt anyone will contact me.

So far my first 10 minutes of being store has been horrible. Spent 40 minutes trying to make it a picture calendar for someone to tell me that it’s completely down. If something doesn’t work my suggestion is to put a sign on it makes complete sense but I guess not to this location if you’re not ready to be opened and don’t be open

Went here today to get my COVID booster. Store and pharmacy area were clean. Pharmacist was friendly and took me earlier than my appointment.
Big store, not fully stocked. Being I have been to several superstores in the past I was excited to check out the fishing/hunting section only to find out it was almost nonexistent, smaller then any walmart Ive ever seen.
The store is very clean, and everyone is very friendly. I wish certain shelves were stocked items, like the soup in the deli department.
When you buy something check the price on the cashier is it not the same thing on the shelf.

Store is huge, lots of products but hardly any employees to help. I tried to get razors and I was instructed by an employee in seasonal that they dont page people to sections for customer service and that I had to find somebody in that department which there wasnt. Customer service is terrible, I wont be shopping here again

Only reason for two stars is the size it’s huge. I’ve been to several super centers in upstate,Jersey, pa and Florida that are far superior their stock is pathetic the associates are too busy talking then doing their job several shelves are empty lines are ludicrous I hope it gets better but for one of 3 super centers on Long Island they need to do better

I went there at 9:50 pm Monday to get Elmers glue and spray paint for kids school project. The spray paint was locked up and so after 20 minutes waiting, still no one came to unlock. I hit the assistants button, made two phone calls to the store from inside the store, asked several store employees. One returned but the key didn’t work. Total confusion for a simple task. Real sad. Wound up leaving there at 10:20 pm, didn’t purchase the glue. A pack of confused retards work there. I’ll just go to the RIVERHEAD ghetto Walmart for now on

Its very big! A bit overwhelming at first but not disappointing. The associates are very kind and are doing their best!

Super Walmart has all of your shopping needs. From groceries to home goods, auto, toys, cosmetics,and clothing. Definitely a one stop shop.
The only issue is that people who live just directly across from Walmart and the traffic congestion can vary daily. But its a okay store and you got everything you want. But they decided to replace its cashiers with self checkouts.

Soo happy to finally have a supercenter. I went to one years ago in Puerto Rico and it was the best. The store is huge, with an amazing selection, stocked very well, and the staff was super friendly!

Is the largest store Ive ever been in in my entire life and Ive been in a lot. Some items cost more than other places, some were less.
Half of the shelves were empty and the prices are higher than all the other Walmart’s on the island. Ex: Scott toilet paper 12 rolls was $10.10. Riverhead sells it for $8.46. I’m very confused.

Love this Walmart Supercenter! Only one item we wanted that we never found on this visit.
The lines to the register were short, I was on the line for only five minutes. There were plenty of employees to help me navigate the store. The store was well stocked.
To many outs in the meat the hold chicken dept was empty
This Walmart was so new, I went there on Sunday (2 days ago)! It was 5 days old for business when I was there on that Sunday. My first time there was so amazing, so I rate 5 stars!!
To.much hype. Ive been to a lot Walmart Supercenter out in PA an upstate NY. those were far more superior. Be prepared to be online for about an hour. Go TARGET exit 64.

2021-11-03Just opened today. The store is big. Lots of items but is still in the process of stocking up shelves. Free samples today. I grabbed a cupcake. Very delicious. Store is very well laid out. This is definitely the place to go when you need anything for your house, your car and everything else!!

I have been in really big super Walmart in Florida, south Carolina, Texas ect, .. they are well better so far,.. lots of room to improvement crew members seem very busy stocking. I got the impression that they are way behind to get everything ready for the holidays,.. maybe shortest. Lets see what happens next few weeks

2022-05-02So big, clean, beautiful. A lot more choices then the others. Respectful staff, unlike some of the others in suffolk county. Im hoping this Walmart stays this highend. The produce was lovely, the bakery showed a 2 tiered cake on display! They dont treat you like a criminal when showong your receipt on the way out, instead drew a smiley face for my grumpy, tired, 7 year old. High hopes. Please dont fail us!

2022-02-21Friendly staff and huge selection... Some shelves are a little scarce with product but store didnt open to long ago and always see staff restocking shelves so no star reduction. Staff is always cheerful and willing to help. LOVE that you can find products via the Walmart app and itll tell you if its in stock and where in store to find it.

2022-01-15Bring your favorite walking shoes, the place is huge! I love the supermarket section. I found the employees to be refreshingly friendly. The store is so big, I can see they are have trouble keeping the store shelves stocked...it could be just supply chain issues with the way the economy is these days I dont know. But I absolutely enjoyed shopping there!!

2021-11-03This place is huge!! Its clean and fully stocked... for now. 4 stars for the store and 1 star for the people of walmart!!! Just like every other wal mart there were people cursing at other people and yelling at their kids. 4pm and people already in their pajamas. Good luck and enjoy the show!!

2022-03-05.Not sure if the deli and hot foods section is working to full capacity. Always get the impression theyre still not completely set up yet.Having purchased from there and satisfied with the food. Wish there was more of a selection . Quite a few freezer cases empty and some pantry shelves bare also. Unfortunately its hit or miss if youre gonna be able to get everything thats on your shopping list. Store is clean and self check out registers are quick. Hope that theyll be able to restock soon. Its just too convenient not to stop in after work.

2022-02-26It was really great. Much more food and materials to buy than any other stores. Great selection of organic products. And much wider isles than Ive seen in a long time. Prices are a real plus. Ill be back. !!!!!

2022-03-09They were out of cucumbers and I wanted a whole cooked chickenThere wasnt any ready and only 3 on the rotisserie she said 45 minutes so I shopped came back and all 3 gone and no backups on the rotisserie??? It was already 430 dinner timeThe cases should b full from 330 on.i was not happyThen the past 2 times no banana s,,I love the convenience of the store and i have to say the employees are extremely nice friendly and helpful. Cant say the same for other walmarts in the area.hopefully in time the deli dept will improve

2022-05-04I really do want to like this Walmart. Its fairly new, so everything is clean and neat. But stock is extremely low, and lots of shelves and clothing racks are empty. I know there are supply chain problems happening nowadays, yes, but as far as Walmart stores go, this one has the most limited selection. I hope it improves. Right now it isnt really worth the trip.
