Bathroom is nasty, there is far too many people on one bus and with no masks on. Covid 19 still is in effect and still no one is 6ft apart because how can you be with an over crowded bus?! Bus was an hour late to pick me up after changing the time I originally booked my ticket for. There should at least be a way to get some of my money back. Too many lang stops so drivers can smoke then everyone else gets off to smoke so more time is waisted. This is far most the worst bus service I have ever used!!!!!! My DC-NYC trip a couple weeks ago was one of the worst travel experiences Ive ever had (and I travel a lot, especially by bus). Would give 0/5 stars if I could.On our 5 hour trip (which ended up taking 10 hours), the following occurred:-Bus was 45 minutes late to pick me up, they gave me no notice and when I called to ask about it I got hung up on-Driver spoke no English, was very rude to customers, and spoke on the phone for a majority of the drive-The bus broke down on the side of the highway. The bus driver had to get out and luckily was able to get it running again but then googled the bus warning lights (while driving) and we had to stop somewhere else to get the the problem permanently fixed.-While the bus driver was getting the problem fixed, an old man (complete stranger) boarded the bus TWICE and insisted that he be let on because he needed to talk to someone (bus driver was not aware of this, and when we tried to explain it when he cam back he didnt understand). Very likely could have been an offender of some sort...-Bus was gross and crowdedI felt very unsafe and frustrated for the entire drive. Maybe if this was a $1 chinatown bus like they used to do I would have been a little more understanding but this was NOT worth the $40 (especially when bus tickets are usually $20). I was even contemplating getting off and spending the night somewhere just to avoid the awful conditions. DO NOT USE WANDA COACH.
Our trip to NY from Norfolk, VA was not a good one. Bus was old, very dirty, air vents on some of bus had half inch of dust and debris. Air was moving but bus was very warm. Bathroom looked to have black mold in many places. No toilet seat, no toilet paper and nothing to clean hands. Driver was ok. Bus broke down for 30 or 40 mins, think it overheated, driver was able to resolve issue. We were to arrive at 5:30P.M, but did not arrive 9:30PM.Our trip home was 8X better....nice clean bus!! Air was cool and comfortable. Besides for small tunnel delay, it looks we will make it home about 15mins late!Very hard to understand either of the drivers. Spoke very little English!!
If I could give 0 I definitely would, you get what you pay for here. The bus was ok but filthy with trash everywhere and the seats worn out a little bit. And people smoke on the bus, so as long as you dont mind breathing that in for a couple hours, go for it. But me personally I will be looking into better companies to travel more comfortably.
I booked a ticket from New York to Baltimore on May 14 at 5 o’clock pm. After checking the ticket and confirm my destination, a mandarin speaking driver let me sit in on the bus. However after driving for only a few blocks the driver suddenly changed his mind. He didn’t want to stop at Baltimore because I am the only passenger for Baltimore. He lied to me by saying this is a wrong bus for me and letting me out of the bus. When I returned to the ticket office. I was told that was exactly the same bus headed to Baltimore. I have to wait at the bus station for another three hours to get on another bus. This is not an acceptable behavior for a public transportation! The mandarin speaking driver has totally disregard his duty as a driver for public transportation and ignored passenger’s safety. What a shame!!
I mean... we got there safely but, late. During the whole ride, you can smell the stench from the toilet... made me 🤢. Bring hand wipes, toilet seat cover and lysol wipes... no sink in the bathroom. Seats were kind of tattered and torn. Inexpensive ride tho($15), I guess you get what you pay for.
If I could give negative stars I would. I booked with this company through Wanderu because I needed to catch a bus late night Saturday/early morning Sunday and they were the only place with times. My bus was originally scheduled to leave at 2:15 and I was notified that the departure time changed to 1:30. I got to the pickup location by 1:25 and was outside prior to 1:30. By 2:00 there was no bus so I called the company and was informed that the bus had come at 1:20amd that I should have gotten there earlier. Im now waiting for a bus that is supposed to come around 3:30. I wasnt offered anything to satisfy me and was told that I should call Peter Pan bus or Greyhound. Dont worry Wanda coach. You wont be getting my money again. Horrible!!!
Worst bus service i have ever used. Will never recommend them to anyone. To start with the driver was late (I dont have a problem with being late because things do happen I can give and take), but you cant be late and be rude at the same time. The bus was very dirty including the toilet. I can just go on and on. But I would never used them again.
Please dont book your trip with this company. Its a trip to hell. Smelly bathroom that reeks in the whole bus. Charger ports doesnt work and terrible driver (who kept using her phone while driving) doesnt know where to pick up the passengers. We had to go back to a pick up spot cause she was supposed to pick up 10 passengers and missed it. The AC was also off for half of the trip. Also, dont bother complaining or seeking help from customer service cause they will just probably yell at you or hang up the phone on you.
The bus was Terrible I was waiting for bus on the McDonalds parking lot in the middle of nowhere at 1am bus never arrived, when calling customer dervice they said they cannot do anything about it . Do not drive this bus they steal your money, and bus may or .may never arrive. I hope they go into bankruptcy by bad service. Better to invest money into something more expensive and enjoy your ride and most imporyant GET INTO YOUR DESTINATION SAFELY.
This bus was TERRIBLE. if i could give this 0 stars… trust me i would. it smells SO bad, the people are disgusting and disrespectful. they let people smoke ON the bus. not to mention the literal leak in the ceiling. + it was raining. i’d rather walk all the way from new york to DC then ride wanda bus.
Basically zero customer service zero organization zero safety. The bus driver that was supposed to take me to Washington told me his bus was going to Ohio. Then while waiting right outside their office a fight broke out between the homeless people that live next to where the buses come. You actually cant make this up. Then after not getting me on their next 2 buses they wouldnt give me a refund or even credit towards another ride.
Made the mistake of booking a trip on this bus from washington dc to new york (had not seen the reviews before booking). Bus was supposed to depart at 1:45pm…after waiting for 30 minutes at the bus stop, a random Shell gas station on the sketchy side of town, I called only to be told by customer service “last I heard the bus will be arriving at 2:30pm”. What?? Apparently that is this company’s MO and their refund process…forget it. Don’t make the mistake of booking travel with this company.
Completely awful, I booked a ticket for my mother leaving at 7:35, the bus never showed up, she waited for 2 hours while I was on hold with two customer service numbers, when they finally answered they said they did not know where the bus is and they will contact me within 30 BUSINESS days about a POSSIBLE refund. Save your money and go with greyhound, the only reason we didnt originally go with Greyhound was this Wanda Coach one left earlier, I ended up booking her the Greyhound at a later time, save your sanity and do not book this bus service.
Getting somebody on the phone is impossible. They advertise 24/7 customer service but that is not the case. They have no problem taking your money but have horrible customer service all around. Had an emergency and needed to reschedule a ticket I was unable to use because of my emergency, and emailed me back and forth to tell me that there was nothing they can do.
They have horrible customer service. Very difficult to reschedule a ticket and they have a no refund policy unless you can show documents to prove you have an emergency. I had to call so many times because the call rep kept hanging up. I dont know why but I think she didnt want to work. Extremely frustrating experience.
This bus station is fast and inexpensive. The buses are big and departs frequently on a daily basis. This company travels from New York to the south of Georgia. If you travel light you can carry you small bag onto the coach bus with you or if you have luggage it can easily be placed under the bus. I always experience good customer service with Wanda. Also you can earn points every time you purchase a ticket when you sign up and get an account with Wanda.
Got tickets online arrived at the pick up spot in Charlotte NC the Asian guy was disrespectful and after I paid with my card they took my money would not let me on the bus and called the police on me the police said they do this allthe time and they always have to come out to this bus location called the Wanda bus customer service which is also probably a scam and was left on hold for over a hour I will never use my card again and to be threatened by this gentleman about a fake ticket when Wanda bus is selling fake scam tickets do not use anything online with this company customer service and the bus driver a racist and not professional 24 hour but no one tries to assist I even downloaded the app so to be disrespected because of me getting scammed is not right do not trust this company to get your loved ones home if they are down south I only put one star because I couldn’t post without giving them a star but they do not deserve any stars be aware
Coming from Georgia was terrible i was just happy I reached home safe and alive. I had nightmares about the experience. I will not be taking this transportation again. So therefore I cannot in good faith give a positive comments. People are not Sardines and under no circumstances should be packed and treated the way I and others were treated. The CDC should be notified about how you carry on with your Bus Business ,during this Pandemic time, it is not safe and very unprofessional.

I booked a 1 way back to Atlanta from Washington DC. I came for work this past thanksgiving weekend. I caught the 9PM bus, had the driver check my ticket and itinerary. loaded the bus with my things. Cool. About 3 1/2hrs into the ride the driver stops in Virginia Beach, VA kicks everyone off, forces us to get our bags and refuses to let us back on. It was 1:20AM. When I asked why/what was going on? Is there another bus coming, he is extremely rude, yells at me and proceeds to get back on the bus and leaves!! I call the number on my ticket and it leads to an even ruder asian woman, who says over and over she cant help me and I have to speak to her manager when they open at 8AM. Then she refused to refund me or even reschedule my ticket for the ride back to DC (since there were no buses going from Virginia Beach to Atlanta SMFH)...this whole experience was a nightmare. I was stranded in the middle of nowhere for HOURS thanks to this horrible bus company. The have been reported to the BBB. FOR YOUR OWN SAFETY PLEASE STAY AWAY!! THIS BUS COMPANY NEEDS TO BE SHUT DOWN IMMEDIATELY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
TO ALL this bus company should shut down. The Chinese now, are operating on scamming they are not legit. I lost 177 $ and wasted 10 hrs waiting for a bus called WANDA bus, or ILikebus, they have different names. More than 20 people were waiting on June 15 for the coach bus nothing and no one comes. That is a lawsuit.
Myself and my 4 year old daughter ticket time was 6:00pm from Atlanta to New York. The bus left Atlanta at 7:30pm. We were on the bus for 7 hours with no heat in DECEMBER. We finally switched busses around 2am . The 2nd seem to be fine . At about 7am we were pulled on the side of the highway in Baltimore because of mechanical issues. The bus driver did not understand English. We then waited on the side of the highway for 6 hours waiting for someone to come from NYC to BALTIMORE to fix the issue . A few people were calling their office phone to see what was going on & everyone was blocked from calling the building in NYC. I definitely do not recommend this bus company.
Chinatown bus is cool because you can crack a bud light at noon across the aisle from an old man transporting a bucket full of fish heads while your girl gets exposed when the bathroom door swings open due to a broken lock and the jostling at the back of the bus sloshes toilet water onto her c*ochie
I asked for a 6 pice nuggets when I hot th they were old and hard I took them back in asked for a cheese burger no pickles I said it 2x guess what yea PICKLES were on my cheese burger OMG Bad 4 business I am allergic to pickles I was hot I just took them off myself 😔 😟 🙁 😠 😡 😤
Its a good services for travelers on a budget. Try to sit towards the front as sometimes the bathroom can smell really gross. Outside of that they do a great job getting you to Atlanta from NYC with no problems. Also not their fault but some of the passengers can be rude. So get on board with thick skin.
Bus is an hour late with no word from the company, no idea when it will arrive. I called the customer service number on my ticket and the woman said she has no idea where my bus is and told me to call a second number which doesnt even have a voicemail set up. Horrible customer service. I guess you get what you pay for. Will not be using this company again.
I bought a ticket from DC to NYC. Ive been waiting for 45 minutes and the bus hasnt show up yet. The ticket sends me to a location in the middle of nowhere but the webpage says that the bus station is in Chinatown. I called their number but they keep me on hold already 24 minutes. Would never recommend this bus ever.
If I could give this zero stars I would. The bus was disgusting. There was trash all over even though there was no one on the bus when we were picked up. The bus was old and dusty, clearly they dont clean them regularly even during a PANDEMIC. I accidentally left my AirPods on my seat and the customer service is AWFUL. They have been so rude to me and Im 100% sure they stole my AirPods too. When I tried to complain they were rude to me and didnt help me try to find them at all. DO NOT USE THEM. I know theyre cheap but trust me it is not worth it. Rude employees, gross buses, and just an overall horrific experience. Worse than any bus Ive ever taken in my LIFE. 0/5 stars.
Im completely appalled at the service and quality of this company. My best friend was traveling from Charlotte to nyc for a four day weekend I literally had to been calling both numbers since the 13th when he arrived he was texting me that he was scared and that the driver almost crashed several times and was swerving dangerously literally saying he was scared fir his life. I think someone should handle better then hang
Just terrible service, very nasty bus, they dont announce what busses are there and no clear directions about anything. They also make extra stops for other Asian friends and companies which makes your ride time so much longer. You can understand the driver. They dont adhere to the mask mandate and dont enforce customers. Folks were coughing crazy and sneezing. Very tight bus as well. The driver also didnt ensure the overhead bins were closed so things fell on folks. Smh. Never again. If I could give zero stars I would. These folks come to the US and could careless about us and our safety. They just want our money. Its sad.

Do not ride with this company!!! I purchased a ticket from Baltimore to New York at 2:15am. I arrived at the parking lot where the bus was suppose to be at 1:40 the time they ask is to be there 30 minutes before my bus time.The bus never showed up. Parking lot was empty and the Bjs gas station they claim the bus was near wasn’t even operating and completely dark. I then called the company and the line was disconnected so I couldn’t get in touch with anyone. So at 3 am my ride came a picked me up and I went home and said I would take care of it later on that morning.I called them and filed a complaint. Person over the phone didn’t ask me that many questions.I asked for a refund and waited 5 business days for them to deny my request just by saying the bus did show up and had the nerve to say it did come 15mins late. This company is a scam! They make you think a bus is coming and take your money. Do not travel with them and do not give them your money. Very unprofessional.
The overall experience with this bus company is okay,not the best but okay,I give this company a 2 star rating because some of the employees here are very rude and don’t listen to the passengers, example i was traveling from New York to Atlanta Georgia in December they put the heater to full blast and would not turn it down when We told them very nicely to,it gets very hot in the south and I felt like I couldn’t breath there was a elderly lady on board and said she was dizzy yet they still did not turn it down
Just like the other reviews I would give them 0 stars if I could. My son purchased a ticket online for an 7:45 bus from NC to NYC. Here we are at 9:30 pm and still no bus. I called customer service twice and was on hold for over 30 mins each time and then when the hold music stops the phone hangs up. No hello or anything just click. We tried getting our money back but apparently they don’t give refunds unless it’s 2 hours prior to your trip. Those other 5 star reviews must be bogus because there is no possible way they can ever earn 5 stars. We need to start a class action suit against this bogus bus company!
CASH ONLY, bare-bones, to-the-point, & well worth the money. The staff are polite and speak with clarity. I took a 10PM bus to Washington DC & arrived one-time!! The air conditioning was on full blast, at the perfect temperature and the driver was nothing short of cool! Bravo, Wanda Coach !
What a joke. Our bus was 2.5 hrs late. The Shell Gas station on Benning Rd. where the bus picks up from has no bathroom and it was freezing outside. Wanda Coach sent a text 30 minutes after departure to notify the bus was going to be late. Seriously, spend the extra money on Greyhound.
Horrible bus drivers. They slam on brakes. This bus driver took off before everyone was seated. Would not stop for us to get breakfast at 8am and we been on the bus since 8pm. Very rude and talk like they are superior to others. My first and last time with Wanda Couch.
Worst experience with a bus service ever. The bus was 50 minutes late arriving for pick up. The person who answered the phone the first time I called to find out why was rude (Frayda or something like that) and the second time I was hung up on. No apology from the driver. While masks were required the driver didnt wear one (he actually said nothing - hello, goodbye - nothing) nor did some of the passengers, including children. Bus was filthy. The ac barely worked. If I could give zero stars I would. Going to get a covid test in the morning. Next time Ill go Greyhound or someone else reputable.
We waited two hours for the bus to pick us up from the Baltimore location. It never showed up! No one else waiting for the bus had ever used this company so we all waited together at the Taco Bell. The thought was “maybe it’s 30 mins late.” When we called the company they kept saying the bus was stuck in traffic from DC. Beware if you book a Wanda Coach bus. It might just be a scam.
This is a total SCAM! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I purchased a ticket from DC to NYC that was going to depart at 3 am. They sent a message about confirming my travel - great. An hour later I received another message that said We got an update the bus will be there earlier at 1 am. Get there 30 min prior. I immediately called them back how it was changed. A woman picked up a phone stating it will just be there earlier and depart at 1:30 now and rushed to hang up the phone. Long story short I got there at 1 am. There was no bus, no people and the number wasnt in service anymore.PLEASE, be safe outhere and use trusted companies. Not worth your money!
HORRIBLE. Do not travel with this carrier. They delayed the trip by 1 hour with NO notification or apology. Even though I had purchased my ticket WITH a protection plan (which I paid extra for), they would not honor a cancellation / refund. Very shady merchant, would not ever do business with them ever again.
I paid for a ticket hours in advance and after waiting 10 minutes until after the bus was supposed to leave I went and found out that the bus left 20 minutes early because it was “full”. Extremely unprofessional and frankly insulting. Nobody should ride this bus, I’ve also seen on another ride the driver stopping the bus mid trip and demanding money from a passenger. Just terrible.
If I could give this bus company 0 stars I would. I originally had a departure time for 5pm . When I showed up, apparently the bus was cancelled with no notification to any customers . This was at 103 Canal St. Ive taken plenty of buses in the past and with a better customer service experience. They have 0 disregard for their customers. Additionally , we were supposed to make a quick pit stop for 10 mins which turned into 30 mins plus. I am never using this company ever again!
Bus driver was rude and disrespectful. They are not following the COVID-19 regulations. They are violating ADA for disabled people. Also laughing and telling you to call whoever, because he can do whatever he wants, while refusing to give his name for complaints. 4:pm bus arrived at 5;30-5:45 with no update or even a simple apology. Bus was late, but got me where I need to go. Would recommend that the drivers not be on there phones the entire ride. Thats very dangeeous..and they need to provide more bathroom stops between picking up passengers. Got on at 6pm in SC, not bathroom stop until 1:30am in VA. Not healthy for people to have to hold there bladder that long, you will debelop UTI.Please company, speak with those drivers about there phone uses, its very dangerous. Respect the rules of the road (Chinese Drivers, they dont respect peoples luves). They need discipline.
Bathroom was yuk.the outlets in tge back wasnt working and the airconditioner was on so high it was freezing. On the other hand they stop at rest stops and made sure everyone that was suppose to be on the bus was back. We left on time and although we were a little late due to a fight between the busdriver and a passenger,we got to our destination in one peice
The bus was disgusting it was hot and NO AC on that bus from New York to Atlanta. The bathroom looked like it was from a Sci fi horror film and the smell coming from the bathroom never again will I ever ride or deal with Wanda Coach bus again they will never get my money again
If a could give 0 star i would. The bus came late, no apaologies or explanation whatsoever. The driver didnt speak english so communication was null. The power outlets were not working, there was no toilet paper, hand sanitizer, soap or anything you could have use to clean yourself in the restroom, and it was really gross and smelled really bad, the floors were really sticky, i tried to clean the restroom a bit so i could use it, with my own sanitizer and alcohol and it didnt came off, like it hasnt been cleaned for a long time.
We booked a ticket from DC to NY leaving at 1:30 pm. They asked us to arrive half hour early. Its now 2:55 and we are still waiting for the bus. I called two times. First time they told us 2:30. Called agaon at 2:40. They told 15 minutes. No bus. Still waiting. If you value your time, look at alternatives. Only two of us hear. They could have called us with an update or to say the bus is running late. But they didnt. They dont care and they dont value your time.
Took Wanda Coach (Operated by Jaguar) from NYC to Dayton. Exactly what I expected: cheap ticket, prime overnight time, small seats, very crowded. I slept the whole time (in small bursts). Id recommend it if you know what to expect. They definitely leave on time, so I would recommend getting to the departure address 30 mins before like they request; you have to check in to get your ticket + seat assignment. Arrived ~15/30 mins late to Dayton.
Unbelievable how unprofessional this company is. Violated every Covid guidelines that exists. People casually walking in and out without masks right in front of the staff. The staff wouldn’t say anything. How is this possible.... there was drunk people who openly said they were drunk loudly to the staff while having attitude with other passengers. The staff knew about the conditions of these people and didn’t do anything. Oh did I say that these drunk passengers weren’t walked in without masks and remained without one the whole ride. 15 min break the bus did at a rest stop and turned into a whole 50 min stop. The driver was late and other passengers were even more late.... no way this company can be real. Worst experience.
Our trip was in fact pleasing. Both my daughter & I enjoyed our ride on the Wanda Coach both to & fro. I was nervous at first because of the reviews but I didnt experience poor service. The A.C was working, chairs were comfortable, I was able to charge my phone & the bus drivers were driving with no issues & they were on time if not a few minutes (10-20mins) late leaving. To me thats better than leaving early. Anyways the bathrooms could be better but we used the bathroom at the store during the stops. Coming back my driver was rude while boarding & asking questions but it all changed when someone corrected him on how to speak to people. I would definitely ride again. You just need thick skin & to look past small ignorance & thats wherever you travel, even if local. Its good for the money you pay.
Only thing I like about Wanda is how quick I get from NYC to GA at anytime of day. Usually 3-4 trips a day. You can book up to like one hour before you leave. Another thing I like. Run by Chinese people in Chinatown. I have seen many times where they are rude to the customers
Bus driver was very rude and refused to help my elderly dad. He violated Ada regulations for Disabled persons. This was in boiling point sc going to Baltimore. He also laughed and mocked as I explained that my 64 handicap dad was waiting since 3pm for the bus that just arrived at 5:30 in the cold weather. The first time the bus went pass his stop and they left him waiting from 4:30 until the next bus at 9:30pm
This is the worst bus company to travel, They made me wait all Night in the bus station in Roanoke VA and the bus never showed up. I recommend not to spend your money buying tickets or this company, instead I recommend you to look for another transportation . I also try to call them but they never answer the phone instead they send you straight to the voicemail 😒
Donno from what to start really. The tickets say to arrive 30 mins prior to the departure, otherwise the seats can be sold to another people. The scheduled time was 8:15 and at 8:25 there wasnt a sign of the bus at the pick up place.The driver came just next to the stop and we had to run to catch the bus. No excuses for a delay from the driver whatsoever.Bus is full of people, quite dirty and looks gross.Would I choose this company again? NEVER. If only Ill be forced or payed for that.
I payed for a ticket from Winchester VA , to NYC … The Bus NEVERRRR SHOWED UP … got there 45 minutes early and waited an additional 2 hours after the departure time . I’ve been calling ever since and haven’t been able to get a hold on anyone if I could’ve Gave ZERO Stars I would
I was skeptical of this bus company due to the numerous negative reviews. Upon arriving in Philadelphia, I asked the lady at the counter if I could reschedule my 10PM bus to an 8PM bus. She switched the time for me with no questions asked! The waiting area was clean and had vending machines. The bus was ready for us outside the waiting area. Doors opened at 7:55. Upon entering the bus, it was much cleaner than i expected and smelled just fine. Smooth ride all the way through. Departed right on time. Very satisfied!

If anything I got confirmation emails saying that the bus was “on the way”. I was given a phone number by the man behind the desk and as soon as I start talking to the representative she hangs up the phone without hesitation. Horrible customer service. No professional communication. Would not recommend this bus service to anyone the website says no refunds. I’m pretty sure it’s cause they won’t talk to you long enough to get down to the issue!
Very poor services. Counter stuffs and bus drivers are very rude. Interior of inside the bus not good at all and not hygienic. All the way from Atlanta to New York passengers of the bus suffered huge bed smell from toilet, some of the passenger becomes sick. And drivers are reckless to drive as well.They charge extra $ 10 from me for a fishing stick. Moreover, counter stuffs behavior is very horrible and decided to never travel with them again.
My trip from NYC to NC this past Tuesday was decent considering the pandemic. The bus was clean, seats in tack and it wasn’t overly crowded. I never really have problems when I take the bus (103 canal street) and I use them a few times in the past. For the price it can’t be beat, I would recommend asking for your seat selection if you care to sit in a specific seat.
NEVER use this company. I bought a ticket and boarded the bus from NYC heading to Rochester; the driver took us all the way past Hoboken NJ and then turned around and took us all the way back to NYC to change the bus with out any explanation. This made me hours late to my destination and forced the people picking me up from the bus stop to wait hours as well.
Absolute worst travel experience! The bus smelled like urine, there was no available toilet to use because the one on the bus was drenched in bleach and everytime you walk in there you choke on the scent. There were people lighting up joints in the back to cover the smell. In addition, the driver refused to make bathroom stops for a 10 hour trip. When we forced him to finally stop, he almost left me and a few other people who stepped off the bus and drove away. Trust me do not spend your money on this unless the bus ride is 1-2 hours seriously not worth it.
Man this is extremely disorganized no assigned seats so peeps are just taking up seats with there belongings like.. cmon now the only this Ill say is that at least the driver drives with a purpose and not reckless. Will not be taking this but again unless I absolutely need to.

These people had me on hold for hourssssss just to reschedule my ticket I sent out multiple emails and not once have they replied. I wish I could give them no stars at all. I’m disappointed because I never experienced this type of customer service from them before. I will NEVER do service with them again! Count your days Wanda couch and yea that’s a threat!!!!
Would give a negative rating but thats not one of the choices. I took their bus from Atlanta to New York City over the Summer. Their A.C. System didnt work and the windows couldnt be opened. People got sick from the unbearable heat. They knew the bus wasnt working properly before we left but didnt tell us. The driver (after yelling at us and saying we could get off the bus now, mind you, we were en route already & in the middle of nowhere) even lied to us and told us, we would switch to a different bus during one of our pit-stops. When we got there, all they did was switch drivers. We all suffered for 16 hours and upon arriving to NYC, were told no refunds or waived fees for future travel. The Manager refused to talk with us and the disrespect was enough for me to never want to ride with them again! If you need a cheap bus, go with PANDA or anyone else other than them.. .
They are consistently terrible. A driver once drove right passed me and said he didn’t see me. When I called the company the driver said he’s already one block away and he’s not turning back. The next bus was two hours later. Even now as we speak I’m waiting since 10 my ticket says scheduled for 1130, They said it won’t be here till 12. Called the company every 30 mins they assured me it will arrive at 12. Called again at 11:50 they answered then placed me on hold fifteen minutes then came back and said no bus till 2 AM. They claimed traffic on highway. Mind you I took the hwy here I know for a fact that was a lie. I have at least five more similar experiences but I’m sure you get the drift. Yes they have the better prices but be warned punctuality and comfort are non existent with this bus company.
If I could give zero stars I would! Don’t be fooled by the people who are giving these good ratings they probably were paid to do so. This bus company is disgusting, and their stations are filthy the bathrooms are horrendous. My mom I came on the ATL bus to New York; we got there early so we can get good seats we purchased two seats a piece so we could be as comfortable as possible. The lady at the Atlanta station was very rude ignorant and obnoxious, but thats not even the worst part when it came time to load the bus these two rude Chinese men were standing there while me and my mom were struggling to make room for our suitcase we asked for help and they ignored us. I told my mom to get on the bus ill handle it they wouldnt let her on the bus without showing the tickets which was understandable but all the moving and grooving we had to do my mom misplaced her purse which we eventually found. The second worse part was in Virginia there was a couple who’s bus left them and they could barely speak English and knowing how money hungry Chinese people are I knew they were going to let them on the bus. They almost tried to make money off of me, and my mothers seats twice after showing our tickets a million times saying the seats were paid for already my mom finally said if you want two of these seats you need to refund us 30$ each because we paid 60$ in total each for our seats. After my mom said that the rude driver went and found two seats that were free on the bus. These people who own these Chinese bus companies are rude, unsanitary, and money hungry they dont care about anything. I will never take this bus again!
Literally the worst bus service ever. I came there on time, put my luggage inside the bus AND THEY LEFT WITHOUT ME with my bag. I went for a refund and the lady at the desk made crazy faces, telling me to call a number that just put me on hold. We had to call the police to sort everything out.
The bus smelled bad.... 9/24 lumberton nc they were 1 hour when switching drivers in Durham nc the driver was intoxicated to the point of drunk walking..They tried putting everyone on the next bus that was over crowded and refused me a refund.. Im so disappointed in this company Ive been a loyal customer for the last 2 years I was lucky to have not ran into this b4.. but never again...
You know low price bus transportation.The truth is what you get what you pay for.They could have some sort of lost and foundIf you left something behind, they will transfer your call to one another and eventually you learn nobody knows or doesnt wanna know about your valuables.
Let me add to the multiple one-star reviews for this terrible bus company. I bought a ticket online for 10am to NYC from Philly. I got to the bus in time and when I hopped on was told there were no more seats. There were actually two seats with people’s things on them but the driver very rudely told me to get off and take the next bus which was leaving an hour after. This was on Christmas Eve and I already had lunch plans with my family in the city. They have no refund policy for these trips that they themselves overbook. It’s cheaper and more dependable for you to ride Greyhound or Megabus. Actually look into FlixBus since it’s actually the cheapest option and they have a better bus. Save yourself the trouble and don’t bother with these clowns.
This company is a scam business.1) they intentionally overbook. Busses leave every hour, but if you’re not early enough for your bus, you will miss it. Got there at 6:35 for a 7 pm bus and I still didn’t get on.2) Despite the fact that the terms and conditions (I actually read them, only because of how poor the service was) clearly state that an E-ticket is acceptable, they forced me (and 20 others) to go inside to print the ticket, causing us all to miss the bus.Called them directly and asked for a refund and they refused, despite me staying calm, polite, and factual the entire time. Will not be using them again.

Taking the overnight from Rochester to New York was the worst travel experience ever!!! We met up in this super weird building in the middle of nowhere that absolutely reeked of fish. The seats were incredibly uncomfortable and had no leg room. The bathroom had no sink, toilet paper, hand sanitizer, or anything youd need. It was literally just a hole. The back of the bus also smelled like weed. The driver went way too fast, so the ride was really bumpy, making some passengers sick. The price is tempting, but do yourself a favor and NEVER use Wanda Coach.
I have spent a ton a ton of money traveling on tour with this company. Today I was coming back from my trip to Atlanta, and the company had subcontracted the trip to someone else. The driver pulled off with one of my bags with very important stuff in it, My laptop, business paperwork, etc. I contacted the company and they got frustrated because I was trying to ascertain necessary information to recover my property. They wouldnt disclose any information regarding the company they used or anything, and kept hanging up on me and not answering answering my call backs. I tried to explain to them Im not from NYC and had to get on my bus to Schenectady. Yet instead of trying to call the people who they subcontracted the trip with they only texted them. In short, I turned around to put my stuff down, and turned back around to find out this company completely altered my life and were not willing to act to insure customer service. I will not be riding this bus company ever again because they did very little to bring about the return of my personal property.
Really like Wanda Coach. Buses leave on time, reasonable rates. Love the fact that there is no 3,4 hour lay over time. Best to book ticket through the website. Only complaint is when boarding the bus and others are already on, they should remove their articles from the vacant seats and or get up,(seats are not beds) so that those who are boarding can easily see what is available to be seated. Instruct the drivers that, that is a part of their task.
First and last time using this company. The bus showed up an hour late. After a 34-minutes drive we stop at a gas station and waited 45 minutes before being told that they were merging buses. The second bus was overcrowded and smelled like sewage due to the broken bathroom. The worst almost 10 torturous hours of my life. The only positive was that the secondd bus driver was more communicative and kept us posted of whatever was going on. Do yourself a favor and if you can spend the extra $$, use a different company
Booked a ticket with Wanda leaving from Baltimore at 6:20am this morning. On my way there realized I had 3 missed calls from a random number. Upon calling back was told the bus was coming 10 minutes early. When I told them I wouldn’t be there until 6:15, I was told “well you’re supposed to be there 30 minutes early it says so on your ticket.” Weird, because it ALSO says the bus is supposed to leave at 6:20, not 6:10, on my ticket. Tried my best to get there as soon as possible but the bus didn’t wait and was gone by the time I got there. Absolutely ridiculous. Not worth the money even if it’s cheaper go with a different company.
The tickets were double the price and I thought that would be because of social distancing absolutely not they packEd this bus during covid -19 I feel unsafe. They didn’t check temperatures or anything else I pray I’m safe clear this company does not care about its customers and I will be reporting to the department of transportation for not practicing safety procedures.
Just don’t do it. Find alternate ways. I am writing this review from a frigid and quite smelly bus that is now 2 hours delayed because of very frequent stops in which people get off to buy boxes of cigarettes, presumably to illicitly sell for cheap back in NYC. Somewhere in Maryland the driver almost crashed into an 18 wheeler, this is a tragedy waiting to happen. I would rather not make the trip up or pay a $200 last minute flight than endure this 10 hour misadventure again. I would rank 0 stars if I could. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
I booked a ticket from NYC to NC for my friend, but they declined my card because my name was on the card but the ticket was under my friends name. They blacklisted me and asked me to send them photos of my ID and credit card. After I did that (with my private info blacked out, of course), they canceled my original ticket and told me to pay double the price for a new ticket. Absolutely ridiculous. Definitely wont book with them ever again.
Wish I could give a negative star review. Took a bus from Atlanta to New York recently. The bus caught on fire and our bus driver kept driving. Yes, kept driving. Smoke billowed into the bus. He didnt notice. Finally after several passengers were coughing and screaming for him to pull over he did. The bus driver pulled over onto the side and parked on the shoulder. After failing to put out reflectors two cars crashed into the back of the bus. Not to worry, the bus driver went outside to speak to the drivers and told them they could leave. Hmm, puzzling move. Then the police came and the bus driver lied to the police. He told them that the cars nearly crashed into the back of the bus but just missed. Okay, hes clearly trying to hide something. The bus driver then lied to the police and said he was not driving, it was in fact the other driver (I guess they have two drivers on board for such a long trip). They police then asked our driver for his licence which he could not produce. Then the bus driver disappeared for 6 hours and did not return till morning. I believe he got arrested for not having a drivers licence and driving a bus full of people. Me and the other passengers sat on the side of the highway for 7 and a half hours waiting for the bus company to do something about our predicament. The bus broke down at 1:30am and we did not hit the road again till 9am the next morning. Another bus finally came to pick us up at that point. I called the company asking for a refund as my experience was god awful and they refused. Terrible experience. I hope the power of prayer works, because Ill be praying for this companys swift collapse.
Took the overnight bus from Rochester to NYC, service was absolutely abismal. Driver drove 80mph+ and hit every bump, at around 2:30am I had to throw up in the bathroom, which had no toilet paper, sink or hand sanitizer. I legitimately threw up in a hole. At the first stop the driver got into an argument with a passenger bc he thought his payment didn’t go through even though it did. We waited there while they called the police and fought. Seats were unbearable, they weren’t tall enough, and there was no leg room whatsoever. The stench of weed from the back of the bus added to the experience. The ‘bus station’ was an extremely sketchy abandoned-looking building in the middle of nowhere which stank like fish. Do not take this bus EVER!
Im only giving 3 stars because of the cheap price to travel far and how much you can bring on the bus but the drivers have the nastiest attitudes and its really no reason for them to treat their customers the way they do. I had to move South in less than a week and i wasnt paying hundreds for 2 plane tickets so i found this company. I was a little scared because it seemed sketchy and they have no customer service number. But its legit. The bathrooms are gross. Hold it for when you stop at the rest stops every few hours.
Maybe this service isn’t ideal for a long haul journey, but it took me from NYC to Philly for $12!I used Wanderu to book my journey and there were tons of departure options. I chose Wanda Coach because the price was incredible and Chinatown is much more convenient to where I work in Brooklyn. Bonus - you get to avoid the nightmarish Port Authority bus terminal.The seats were perfectly comfortable for a 3 hour ride, cleanliness was on par with the NYC subway or other cities’ public transport standards. I never used the bathroom, so can’t comment on that.At the ticket counter there isn’t any signage to tell you this is Wanda Coach, it says Focus Travel. I arrived at 5:20 for my 6:00 reservation and the ticket agent asked (in English) if I wanted to leave at 5:30 instead. She looked at my ticket on my phone, then handed me a slip of paper with chinese writing and I followed the other passengers around the corner where we waited outside for the bus. This experience is similar to waiting for a regular city bus. The bus was exactly on time and I did not have any reason to interact with the driver. Just handed him my slip of paper as I got on and sat down. The charging ports were convenient.Leaving NYC at 5:30 in the height of rush hour, we arrived in Philly at 8:00. The drop off location was walking distance to where I was staying in Center City.If you are looking for an almost free ride to somewhere 2-5 hours away, and you have ever ridden a public bus you are going to be completely fine! Terrible bus service, called ahead and was told there was a waiting area to sit inside, got to the stop and there was no building, had to wait outside in the cold in an unsafe area for an 11:45 pm bus. They said arrive 30 minutes early. Bus showed up 2 HOURS late. Driver did not apologize once and the ride there was uncomfortable and horrible. Spend the extra ten bucks and take literally ANY other bus company. Also, bathrooms were absolutely filthy, never seen anything like it.
This is by far the worse bus experience Ive ever had in my life. First of all the staff does not speak english, only chinese so you basically cant ask questions to anyone. The tiny little bit they speak are rude words.The bus smelled like pee, the seat I took did not recline as it was broken, there are no seat belts in the bus, both USB chargers were also broken. No Wi-Fi, no toilet paper and no water of course. The bus was very dirty before we left. They just dont clean it.And the very worse part is that the toilet is just a nightmare, I have no words to describe how dirty it was! I travelled with my girlfriend and she couldnt use it in a 10 hours ride from NY to Ohio (which the website says its only 8:30 hours). I would not recommend it to my worst enemy.Oh, and before I forget, on my travel back from Ohio to NY, they were supposed to pick us up at a gas station at 1:00 am, but they arrive at 2:00 am, but the bus had no name, just plain white and you just have to figure out yourself its your Wanda Coach that arrived. The heating wasnt working so everybody was freezing to death. The only reason I gave 1 star is because I couldnt leave 0 stars.
Like other reviewers mentioned, this is a terrible company! I lost my bus from Winston Salem to NYC at 10:45pm and they told me to get a new one in Greensboro at 12:30am. We drove there and arrive 45min earlier, the bus never show up. At 12:45am, they told me the bus already left. What??? I was here, it never came to the pick up point. Then, they said the next one would be there in 10 min departing at 1:30am. When the bus arrived, it only wait 2 min and they left, before the scheduled time. They dont care about the customers at all. I am very upset with this company.
WandaCouch is a fake company. Please be very careful. I purchased online ticket and went to the pick-up point, and the bus never came, the whole company is fake, and there is no response from them. Worst bus company ever. The customer service number doesn’t work the first 20 times you try to call and their alrenative number is AT&T. I spoke with a manager because I wanted to transfer a ticket to an earlier time and she was extremely rude and aggressive when she answered, cutting me off before I finished saying the time I purchased and the time I wanted to switch to. This is a poorly ran company that is vague about what times they offer. For everyone’s information they only offer 5 am from DC to NYC and 7 pm from NYC to DC even though this is not mentioned on their site.
I am going to give five stars. You may think Im crazy, but what makes the trip bad is the passengers not the staff or the drivers. Everyones looking for a deal, but wont appreciate a good thing by pitching in to make the ride more enjoyable. Some charger ports dont work, be smart and get a longer travel cord (or a 6ft usb connection like me lol). DO NOT yell at the driver to turn adjust the AC. We can all die if your distract the driver. Frankly, we all have different temp preferences and yours DO NOT take priority. Control your temp by layering. Assume positive intent in people. No one WANTS to make your trip unbearable. Just because your seat can recline into the lap of the person behind you -- DOES NOT mean you should. Its rude. Be aware of the space you are in and taking up and sit in your assigned seat -- YES IT MATTERS.
Was left in 25F yesterday evening with my service dog after an argument with the driver over her ability to travel with me, where ultimately I was refused service. (He said to come back with papers.) Came back the next day with my service dog paperwork in hand. Same bus driver eventually let me on, only after demanding and ultimately receiving $10 for “rescheduling” and $50 for the dog. (Initially wanted $70 but backpedaled when he saw my reaction.) Looking at their website now, service animals are allowed and must be controlled by leash or crate and may occupy the owners seat space (I guess legroom). There is no extra charge mentioned. Tonight’s Chattanooga-Knoxville sprinter driver strong armed $50 from me against company policy, knowing that I had to accept his terms in order to get home.
ABsolutely horrible service. The price was NOT worth it because we ended up spending more and getting delayed on our trip. The first bus was megabus which got us to our midway destination. We waited for Wanda coachs second bus to pick us up in the middle of Durham, NC at 6am. The bus arrived an hour late after mutliple calls to the customer service (which by the way is one person and she was not helpful in giving us timings, assurance, proactive calls to the driver). The driver said the seats were all full, to which the customer service desk basically said Oops! Well refund you now. EXCEPT we were in the middle of another city with no means of transportation!! We ended up getting a rental car for $130 for the remaining journey. Extremely upset with this service. The risk you run was not seem worth the money we thought wed be saving.P.s. Customer service hung up on us after delivering that we had to find another means of getting to our destination when we began asking her for alternate ways of getting there that she could help with.
Bus stop is dirty, and the workers aren’t very helpful. My bus was supposed to leave at 8:30, they didn’t even start packing up the bus till 9. Bus stopped for gas and made a random stop at Newark on the way to Baltimore... none of the passengers got off at Newark. Still not sure why we were stopped there for over 30 min at midnight! The drive from NYC to Baltimore is only 3 hours, we were supposed to be getting into Baltimore at midnight... but instead we’re in Newark.... It’s midnight now.... and the bus is still not moving.... I will not be taking this bus line ever again.
The busses and offices are filthy. And I just got off a bus today from Georgia to New York that broke down and the driver had to pull into a gas station, said nothing to us, and went to fix it. He took almost an hour and in that time he said nothing to us sitting on the bus. People came off the bus and went to ask what was up. After that it shut down two more times throughout the journey. And the bathrooms are a nightmare. Everytime someone went in the bus stunk!!! They have no sink, toilet paper, garbage or sanitizer. It was an experience I will never repeat.
There was confusion getting on the bus due to lack of communication. There should be a message board that can direct passengers to the proper bus. The bus company had a two hour delay on the return trip. It would be beneficial to have a text notification or a email that could inform the customers of any delays. This was my first and last experience on a bus. Wanda Coach needs to focus on Customer Service.
Leaving NY was fine but from Greensboro, NC to NY they oversell the tickets bus was 2 1/2 hours late because they had to send another one. People were reacting since 7.. I would say you can take them leaving from canal but use panda because they run a better business and is always on time. This company Sucks.
Horrible! The worst experience. 6 hour trip turned to 11 hour trip. The bus was full, they did not want to take me saying that my ticket is wrong ticket and not confirming a purchase. I showed them receipt and booking confirmation that says that ticket paid in full. After arguing in 29 degree weather they finally said that found me in the system. The smell was horrible, so much noise, people were smoking! Never ever I am going their services again.
Worst travel I have ever made in my life. The bus had wifi, but the driver didnt know the password, and he didnt even call anyone.the floor and the whole bus was so dirty I wanted to die.The driver was rude, yelling all the time.They didnt let us go to the restroom or even just to walk in 7 HOURS.If you have any other chance, dont ever travel with them.
Would give 0 stars if possible. Worst company ever. Had issues on multiple occasions, they DO NOT have a license, they overbook their busses and then you’re not able to get on it, it’s always late or early and they won’t let you on it. Once the bus broke down and they did not send a replacement bus for 3 hours and ended up being a 6 hour trip when it was supposed to be 2 hours only. People that work there don’t care at all. Never taking it again and would suggest you not to take it if you ever want to go anywhere.
I took their bus from Charlotte to NY. An hour into the ride, I realized I made a huge mistake. The bus was very uncomfortable. Small seats, no leg room. How are they allowed to run a bus service for long rides without a bathroom? The drivers were running the service like we were in communist China. They were yelling out and ordering people around. While on the bus, i booked a flight back. It wasn’t worth it at all. Never again.
The worst company ever I guess you get what you pay for. They had me stuck at the bus stop in NC Charlotte for 2hrs just to only find out that they decided to not pick up at my spot. If I didnt call customer service I would of never known anything. I didnt get a call or email to let me know anything. I was than told to get to the next pick up spot in 25mins or the bus would leave me . Im never again using they service again they had me stuck in NC Charlotte with no where to go Im waiting on my refund from them now
Bus was over 2 hours late, no one at the desk knew when it would be coming. Individuals working in the nyc office were extremely unhelpful. Driver needed passengers to tell him directions. Driver smoked on the bus while driving. Driver talked loudly on the phone while driving. Driver had AC on full blast when it was 20 degrees outside. Due to unreliability and not being able to get a straight answer out of its employees, I would suggest paying slightly more for a bus with a better reputation or at least one that treats you like a paying customer.
ZERO STARS. Lmao you get what you pay for! WORST WORST WORST WORST WORST communication between online sales and customer service. NO ONE ever has the proper time for buses...EVER! Could be 5:00pm, could be 8:00, but you’re 8:00pm is running late even though online you bought the 7:30! But now you’re waiting for an 8:30pm or 10:00pm! I mean hey don’t ever plan anything and take these buses. Don’t hope to get anywhere on time. I booked a bus ticket from Perrysberg Ohio to New York. On arriving to given address for Perrysberg Ohio station, I was surprised to find that if was a kroger parking lot. There was no board/signage specifying anything about the Wanda Coach. And the best part is, I waited there for the bus for an hour(30 mins before my scheduled departure time and 30 mins after), but the bus never arrived.And there is no costumer service. I advise everyone to have some caution before falling for this service.
Wanda coach is now allowing passengers to bring PETS (not service animals) on the bus as if the buses are not filthy enough. It states on their website under facts that they do not allow pets but today I see that is clearly a LIE! This is a 14+ hour ride no one should be allowed to bring pets on this bus who may urinate on the seats or possibly have fleas and are not trained! I’m sure these people don’t care because they are only concerned with making money but After 2+ years of taking these buses this will be my final trip with Wanda coach. ✌🏾
Worse company ever. Waiting areas and buses, all shabby and almost cracking down. My bus had a 1.5h delay which is completely inacceptable and when I tried to complain to Customer Support, nobody answers. The staff is rude and not willing to help at all. Im sure that all the good reviews from local guides have been paid. Disgusting.
This bus company is the worst of the China Town Coach buses, I enjoy the streched room for seating which is why it gets 1 star. The bus I was on was promised wifi, and outlets. Theres only USB ports, half of them didnt work, and the bus had a dead wifi network. The bathroom is grafiitied over. I left New York City 5-30-2019 Going to Indianapolis @930pm. Wanda needs to update there internet services, outlets, and bathroom issues. This bus is disgusting. Not worth my banks $80
My experience with this company was terrible. I rode from NC to NYC in the summer and the bus did not have AC. The passengers are often disrespectful, they put their seat all the way back, making your ride uncomfortable. The customer service is non existent. Avoid using this company at all costs!!
These people are so trashhhhhh. I attempted to book tickets online but every time I click agree at the end it takes me right back to the home page. So i contacted the number provided on their google map page. When I finally got in contact with someone this stupid customer service rep. is going to tell me that the reason why I can’t book my tickets online is because in the past I’ve disputed a charge with my bank. Mind you I’ve only booked one ticket in the past years ago. So I’m like why am I being block is it because of my card, my phone number, my name or address.. her response was I can’t say!! Are you kidding me, I’m being penalized for something i am not aware of. Then if I actually go in person to book my ticket the fare is a lot more expensive. These people are cons DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR BUSINESS... if i could give them zero stars I would!!
Very affordable prices to travel but their bathrooms are dirty & they have no toilet paper to wipe you butt & no hand sanitizers to clean your hands. But they do stop a few times at different rest areas to use the bathrooms, stretch your legs & get a bite to eat. So if you need to use the restroom on the Wanda bus you might want to bring hand sanitizers and wipes
First time and I have been waiting over 3 hrs for the bus to get here. Said it would be here at 9:30 PM and it is now midnight and the bus still hasnt arrive. We never received an email or text telling us that their was going to be a delay. We called at 10pm and we were told that the bus would be here at 10:30pm and still not here.
If you are ok with weed smell it’s a great proposition to reach NYC cheap. One less star since they are never on time and the driver smuggled tons of cigarettes... I Mean Loads of them. He detoured through Virginia and North Carolina Asking passengers to buy a carton or 5 fr him. He must have totaled over50 to75 cartons.
I would give it a zero Stars if I could. I purchase a ticket for 9 p.m. they text me and told me to be there at 8pm. I called at 8:30 and they told me the bus was stuck in traffic. Ill call back at 9 9:30 and they told me the bus would not be there until 11 then 11:30. A bus showed up and I thought that it was my bus but come to find out it was not. So when I called they said my bus had broke down and to come back at 3. Then said call me at 2... PLEASE DONT WASTE YOUR TIME NOR MONEY!!!

This is the worst travel expirence everrr.... broke down in North Carolina coming from ATL to NYC . The driver got off the bus and said nothing to no one when we noticed we was just sitting there for over 20 mins while he tried to fix whatever broke. A couple riders then started asking questions & all he could say is “ I don’t know “ ... NEVER RIDING WANDA AGAIN !
The worst experience for whoever paid for a service. The bus is so durty smells like hell, Chinese people are the most inhumane creatures god ever made selfish and so racist. Do not waste money and time on wanda coach or any chinese bus. It comes always late without any announcements or consideration for the passengers. Pay more for a better service. I am disgusted. PLEASE READ:I took a bus from Raleigh, NC to New York, NY lastnight and someone steals my PURPLE SUITCASE right from under the bus. It was one of the first bags close to front of door. I tell the bus driver that I dont see my bag, hes like Dont come to me, idk what to do. Hes shrugging his shoulders telling me theres nothing he can do. I call the bus company, they said theyll write my info down, theyll write a report. I call every 2 hours on the clock. I call a second time at 9am, he tells me they have a purple bag there but it contains fishing equipment. He said give it a little time, call back in the afternoon . I call at 12, he tells its not the afternoon, call back later.I call back at 3pm, asking about the purple suitcase. He starts getting mad with me, tells me to shut up and let him talk, being rude, disrespectful.He repeatedly kept asking How much did you pay for your ticket maam? I said Sir, its your business you know how much the tickets cost. He says Well you get what you pay for! You dont like it? Go to Greyhound, go to Megabus. We cant do anything for you. He finally tells me to write a police report, I said sir thats what should have been told me when I called this morning in the first place while I was standing outside your bus company.He completely talks over me, telling me he can do nothing, for me and hangs up the phone.NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!!!!! And Im coming up there tomorrow, and Im filing a report!Idc about my damn suitcase, I care about the customer service and it is never okay to tell someone that theres nothing they could do about stolen suitcases cus they paid $30 for there bus ticket. OMG worst bus service ever!! So bad! The driver and other of the workers didnt even know that was the Wanda Coach service, he was talking in Chinese to me, knowing that I didnt speak his language, he was super rude with everyone, yelling at the people, then he just stopped in the middle of the way to gas the bus (something that they have to do before getting the passengers).. the bus super dirty too!! This was from NY to Philadelphia.
I was turned around at the door because they had no seats left after I purchased tickets for 2 seats... it was unfair how they took care of the Asians 1st although my son and I had been standing there. I have to get somewhere like everyone else. It was not right how I was treated and left stranded with no bus coming after.

Awful experience. I bought this ticket for a older family member to ride back home but none of the stops were announced. Ended up hours away from intended destination and then when I attempted to contact the company, they promised to make it right but didnt follow through at all. At the end, they put the blame on the person riding for not recognizing the stop in the middle of the night.
Is it dirt cheap? Yes. Will it get you where you have to go? Yes, but you get what you pay for. Uncomfortable, filthy and smelly buses, but in my case it was better than walking 600 miles. If you have any other option, dont choose this line. If you have to use Wanda, you will learn to pay for better travel.

2022-02-05I read previous reviews that had me a little nervous about doing business with Wanda. When my kids and I arrived it was very crowded. Turns out that an earlier bus was late. Our bus was on time. The seats werent as dingy as I thought they would be. They were not that comfortable for the long ride and especially to sleep in. I dont understand still why they have charging ports in the ceiling. Better have a long charging cable. The driver did stop reasonably for bathroom breaks and stuff which was good. They should be more organized with the seating so there would be no problems with passengers. Also when I buy a ticket for straightway with no transfers I expect that. Not to have to transfer to another bus at 5 in the morning and then people just sitting where ever and not in the purchased seats smh. All in all you do pay for what you get.

2021-12-22If I could give 0 starts I would definitely do it. They are REALLY unprofessional. I brought my ticket to go to a specific place and I’m glad that I was paying attention because the guy simply PASS my city. When we noticed and questioned him he said we should have let him know. LIKE WHAT??? Even though I had told the company at least 2 times during the trip course. I don’t recommend this to anyone NEVER. Here are some pictures of the place he drop me off (in the middle of nowhere) and of the buss itself, so you can have an idea of what I’m talking about.

2021-11-02Inexpensive was to get to New York. Bus stops for a potty break. (Good thing the potty on the bus was disgusting). Seats were worn but comfortable. Would use this service again.

2022-06-26Scheduling was admittedly easy, but I’ve been trying to reschedule my bus ticket today to be tomorrow instead in light of a changed schedule. They have a policy about allowing you to change your schedule (for a $10 fee if you don’t have trip protection) prior to 2 hours before you’re scheduled to leave, but you can’t reschedule on the app. Then when I try to reschedule by calling I was put on hold for over an hour, interfering with my ability to enjoy my trip while I spend precious time calling and waiting for nobody to answer on a supposedly 24 hotline (which disconnected repeatedly when I tried to call last night).$35 dollars down the drain. Not recommended.

2022-01-14Horrible HORRIBLE service.. the worst transportation service I’ve ever experienced. They remiss customer care and service. They are very unprofessional. I purchased a ticket on the 11th of January 2022. I’ve purchased a ticket scheduled for the 14th of January 2022 and the arriving/departure time said 1:00 am from Dale City, VA and the arriving time for my destination said 5:30am (NYC). Now, carefully observing the ticket, I gleaned that I had to be at the bus stop 30 minutes prior to the time on the ticket. I arrived at the bus stop at 12:28 am and waited. I noticed the time was now 12:47am and there are as no bus in site. So I decided to call the “24 hour customer service” number and the woman told me the bus left early. I laughed and asked “how early because I’ve been out here since 12:28am and my bus ticket says departure time is 1:00am”… she told me the bus had left at 12:25am. I couldn’t believe it. How and where do they do that at? My ticket says departure time is 1am , I get there 32 min prior to the departure time and I still missed my bus because the driver was inconsiderate. The woman told me to call back at regular business hours to speak with a manager. I’ve been calling for 3 hours and have not be able to speak to anyone for a refund. So I sent themAn email and waiting for a response. Please DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE. The service is very cheap but cheap isn’t always the best way to go. I was always told “you get what you pay for”.. I will never use this bus service again. It was a calamity.

2022-04-30You may get lucky some days, but overall really bad experience. Take this bus only as an emergency. The bus is always late, and they sell tickets for times that are not real. They will make you wait until the next bus comes. No refunds. The bus is dirty. I have never dare to even use the bathroom, so I can not tell you about that. On busy days, they will oversell the bus seats, and you will have to wait for the next one. Not professional at all.

2022-02-20Probably the most disgusting bathroom and bus I have ever taken. Charging ports only worked on one side of the bus and theyre in the ceiling so your usb falls out. No clear signage or pickup location directions in Baltimore, just a parking lot in the warehouse district. Whole bus smelled like a Port o potty. The only reason I booked this was the timing was more convenient but next time I am sticking to greyhound

2022-02-20Booked my bus well in advance of my trip. Received several emails communicating departure time and location. Arrived 30 min in advance of my scheduled pick up and waited for an hour with no bus. When a bus (unmarked) did arrive, the driver waited LITERALLY less than 2 min before pulling out. I did not even have time to grab my bag from my car. Was unable to check the app to track the bus, and unable to reach customer service to determine if my bus was delayed. Completely dissatisfied, and will never recommend anyone travel with Wanda Coach. Was able to catch a bus from PandaNY that happened to use the same gas station as a pickup/drop off.

2022-04-04The most disgusting bus service I have ever taken in my life! The bus was 2 hours late, I was charged an extra fee, many people weren’t wearing their masks, the bus is overcrowded, and filthy . I am literally itching in my seat and I cannot wait to get home and take a shower. I will be paying the $150 Amtrak next time

2022-02-19Wanda Coach would not hold a bus for 5 minutes when I was late due to train issues outside of my control. This despite them almost always leaving late in my return trips to NYC.Desk clerk acted like she was powerless in the situation, aided by the language barrier. Then, when I called the number provided by the bus station office to ask for compensation, I was ignored rudely. Sorry guys, but Im gonna keep calling until I have my money back, so maybe get a new number if you find it irritating.You would think a bus company that is known to operate below standards, with filthy, unsanitary cabins and unsafe drivers, would be able to hold a bus for a return customer who calls ahead to inform them they will be late. Always avoid china town buses. Nasty.
