Stopped in to order their buttermilk chicken sandwich. My order was up within 2 minutes! I though this was awesome and I drove across the street to eat at my desk. My second bite was into an ice-cold chunk of chicken. Not sure if I knew this was a Cold Sandwich or if it was advertised as such but it killed my enjoyment of the sandwich immediately. This would have been a 5 star sandwich if the chicken was actually hot, and not previously cooked and microwaved for 5 seconds or however this was prepared... After spending $10 bucks I ate what I could tolerate. The arugula, sauce, pickles and bun were great! I was disappointed enough to write this review 20 minutes after my visit. I guess I should have asked if this was a hot sandwich after it was ready in 2 minutes.
Best damn chicken salad sandwich I’ve ever eaten in my life. I’d commit a crime for another. I’d love it if they would offer a little dessert of some sort. My sweet tooth goes on satisfied.

The place needs to work on its atmosphere, but they are doing pretty fantastic on the food.Never seen a meatloaf sandwich as gooey and thick. My tuna tacos were done with rare tuna and were lovely. The Korean Tacos with chicken were yummy. We ordered a side of fries- quite good, and a side of risotto- brilliant choice with the tacos if I do say so.Soda choices are not the usual but enjoyed by all.The prices are a touch on the higher side and although everything was great, dinner for 6 did not come cheap.
This place is amazing, hands down. If you are a blue collar guy sick of the old deli fare, then stop by wandering Daves. You get what you pay for here. Quality delicious food with a evolving menu. Try it, you will not be disappointed!
I had dinner planned tonight but my husband said he was stopping by Dave’s with some coworkers and planned to bring dinner home. I choose from a couple of things on the menu and told him to surprise me. Ended up with the tortellini, he had a chicken sandwich and wings. Everything was excellent!! I work in the industry and always appreciate when a place is killing it and this place is killing it!! I can’t speak to the service, my husband said they sometimes mess up his lunch order but I’m so impressed by the tasty food it doesn’t matter to me. Bravo! I can’t wait to try other stuff on the really cool diverse looking menu!
Ive always enjoyed the food I ordered. The menu is versatile. They have superior French fries to anything else you could get in the area. Though a lot of the menu items are a bit pricey for how much food you get. Staff is really nice.

Just had a lovely lobster roll , which came with fries. Very generous portion of lobster, delicatelyseasoned and not overly dressed. Fries are double-done which makes them double delicious. Very high quality food , very pleasant and efficient staff, and very clean facilityLoved it
We get take-out from Wandering Daves pretty regularly; a week ago there was a small hiccup in a kale salad (note: I HATE kale, but this salad is amazing!). This was such an unusual event, that I called to bring it to their attention. They offered to send a fresh, new salad to us via delivery, and I said no, no, because I just wanted to ensure they knew there was an issue, and just use this as a teaching moment, as they say. We ordered takeout again tonight, and were treated like royalty. Above and beyond ITO service and making things right. The food is delicious, the prices are, I think, reasonable for good and healthy ingredients. The staff is young and learning, and always polite. This is an enormously valuable spot in the area, both for feeding the community, and for establishing a local spot that provides work for local youth. They were very busy tonight - thats good news! Long may they stay busy!

Horrible customer service, 1 employee waited 3 minutes only customer in store, guy who says he is the manager comes out asked if he can help the next person who walks in and ignored me the person who had been waiting 1st on line.
Dave is one of the best chefs I know. His food is excellent! You definitely get your moneys worth. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place!
The short rib tortellini is phenomenal. Very creative menu and a great team. Hands down one of the best places to eat in the area.
My favorite meal here is the steak and eggs, hold the toast, and a side of grilled/sautéed mushrooms.Generally, the dish is great, but sometimes its just amazing, which is the experience I had today. Perfectly cooked, tender, juicy steak, overeasy eggs with a dash of roasted garlic hot sauce, and some of the tastiest mushrooms in town. Well-seasoned, delicious, and worth every extra exercise Ill have to do to work it off. But best thing? No carbs!
Having breakfast at Wandering Daves route 22 Brewster location, so delicious. Great to have a local restaurant serving great food. Very nice location and love to see the food truck we enjoyed come to life close to home so we can enjoy any time!

Clean, comfort food and huge portions. The brisket sandwich was a little too salty but still I intend to return to try more selections from the menu.
Got the ramen noodle soup The shrimp Po boy and the tacos with beef and everything was fantastic even the eggplant with tomatoes and mozzarella cheese as an appetizer hit the spot first time there but wont leave the last theres so many interesting things to want to try
So I go in there at about 2 oclock on Saturday yesterday the guy tells me I can show you the menu but I cant make you any food for at least 2 hours because theyre doing a lot of catering Never go back there again what a dump

2022-06-26I had the most delicious and HUGE burger Ive ever had and it was amazing. Its called the crushed melt in case you want to order. The fries were super crispy and flavorful, especially with the parmesan and garlic added.

2022-04-24Some of the best breakfast food Ive ever had, especially on a mini vacation. I was in town for one night and decided to try them out for breakfast, so glad that I did. You can tell they really love making great food. Everything was fantastic, meticulously designed and beyond any expectations I had. We ordered a bacon egg and cheese sandwich, a sausage egg and cheese, and hash browns along with 2 large iced coffees. The coffees were huge and very good coffee! The hash browns were cooked from fresh potatoes and I think it was scallions or maybe green onion, so tastey and perfectly cooked. Both of the sandwiches were also masterfully crafted, the bacon was fresh and smokey, the cheese was high quality, the eggs were perfectly spiced, and the bun was something special . Not sure what kind of bun it was- maybe potato bread bun, but it was ridiculously delicious and fluffy. The sausage patty seemed homemade or very fresh, you can choose savory or sweet. I had the savory sausage patty on my sandwich. I dont normally right food reviews but I felt compelled to do so here because it was that good. I wish they were in my home state so I could come back regularly! Where I live the coffee and breakfast food does not compare to this. Thanks guys for the amazing food.

2022-02-01Ordered a Spinach Dip for 10 people..Not only was it more than enough dip and ample chips went with it,but it was delicious and affordably priced!While waiting I saw their giant burger being served to a table.It looked awesome and when i checked the menu I was surprised it dd not cost more. I will be back for that next week! Great first experience.

2021-05-18My husband and I found Wandering Daves while traveling from Pennsylvania back home to Maine. Wish we lived closer to this place! The food was fantastic and the staff member behind the counter was helpful and pleasant. My husband highly recommends the Korean tacos, he said they were one of the best things he has ever had. My Spinach Salad was delicious! The strawberries were so ripe and sweet. We highly recommend Wandering Daves, 3 miles off the highway and SO worth it!!

The two men at the front counter were so nice, one of them offered my boyfriend an ice pack for his tooth ache and was so thoughtful! You don’t get that anymore! Customer service was 5 stars and the food was 100000000000 stars
