Honestly, my wife and I were walking near Times Square and happened upon this location. Its very spacious on the indoors and has a clean, modern aesthetic. The sushi is fresh and made daily and the service is nice. The prices are good for the location and the food tastes good. Would recommend.
Im leaving a 1 star rating not because the food or the ambience is bad, its due to the aggressive behavior of a single employee at the checkout counter. NYC is packed with tourists and those of us who like Shusi dont expect to pay upward of $1.50 for a 1 Oz. container of sauces. No Shushi restaurant will charge extra for Soy Sauce, or other condiments. I understand NYC is expensive, but charging extra for the sauce, thats a little unconventional. The employee wearing a head wrap and glasses, was rude and obnoxious, dont yell at a patron, especially if they are visiting from out of the country, and certainly not speak to them like they are your adolescent child. For the privacy of the employee im not sharing the name. It was just a rotten experience, because of this individual.
Perfect place for a quick bite or dinner with healthy, tasty food!)) also they have a great bubble tea. Choose a coffee flavor. It’s the best one!) staff is not so friendly. Price for the plate is about $6-$12. Often crowded but you’ll find a table. Chicken teriyaki is awesome 👏🏻
Great place to go if youre looking for packaged sushi and bento all ready for you to eat. They even offered sushi donuts! Only thing I would say though is that the chicken and udon noodles in one of the bentos we purchased was too dry, making it almost tasteless and inedible. Make an effort to seek out the fresh, hot ones!
Looking for a quick sushi fix? Great place to grab ready-to-go sushi, bento boxes, noodles and ready-made meals at reasonable prices. For grab-and-go, the food is really fresh with a large variety of boxes to choose from. One of my favorite go-to spots in the city for quick lunches during the afternoon or easy meals after work. Always friendly staff, attentive and fast customer service. No frills, but love the convenience and highly recommend.
Good place to get a quick bite of sushi and other Japanese food. Not exactly authentic but a slight twist of western food and Japanese fusion. There are good amount of rice bowl options and noodles. It was very good. For Sushi, I wouldnt recommend eating it if you go there at night. I believe sushi is made in the morning and by the end of the day, fish color isnt fresh anymore. I did nit like the smell of it either. So unless you go there early, eat only hot food.
Really disappointed about their food quality. Ordered salmon teriyaki over rice, which was way overcooked, dry, tasted like paper with sauce. The salmon onigiri also had no taste and tasted not fresh. We visited this place before pandemic and we enjoyed their food much more back then, so were not sure if today was just a bad day.
Please make sure that they have dressing for salad before you purchase a salad. The options I was given were soy sauce, wasabi, and the pickled ginger... Seriously? I liked the curry but my husband didnt like it. Katsu is so so (you get what you paid for. If you have time, just walk a few blocks. Zaiya and Sunrise Market are way better.
I thought this was an actual sushi restaurant as we were looking for sushi one night. Anyhow, this is more of a grab-and-go where you can also sit and eat on their tables. They have a warmed food section where theres bibimbap and cold food section including sushi and poke as well as cold beverages. The hot beverages including tea were purchased and made by the staff behind the cashier. I enjoyed my poke but the bibimbap didnt have the Korean flavors but wasnt bad. Would go back!
Worst gyozas I have ever tried. We didnt plan to came here but a rainy storm started. The salad of the dressing was horrible.I dindt try the fish, but was clearly not fresh and smashed. A photo of my friends sushi is available.Excesive use of plastics and paper in the packaging. Crazy!I will never recommend this plaze. At least, the personal was kind and gentle.
If you’re looking for a quick sushi bite, this place is a great way to try various sushi types at affordable prices. Each piece is around $1-2 and they also have combo boxes. Alternatively if sushi is not your thing, you can get ramen, hot entrees, or salads. Condiments will be provided upon checkout
Maybe its no a traditional sushi restaurant but I like their concept because the sushi and others Japanese food is ready to eat (dont waste time), you just can grab the boxes with different options or you can pick individuals sushi and complete your order. Even been in boxes or wrapped the food is fresh and the price could be chipper than a regular Japanese restaurant. My Tuna sushi box had 12 pieces and I paid 9$. Had the Salmon teriyaki Bento which I thought was delicious. Also tried Chicken & Vegetable Gyoza sald was not good cause it was cold and it was suppose to be hot. Then there was the sushi I had 6 different kinds: shrimp Sumi, seared tuna Nigiri, Salmon Hosomaki, Kani cucumber hosomaki, Avocado Hisomaki and Mochi Sesame wich was good with different sauces they provided. They atmosphere was pleasant nice seating and they keep the place clean but very cold inside not good in 40 degree weather. Have to be in the mood for this kind of food it is something different and unusual.
This place is exactly what I wanted. So yummy and nice having all the food visible with the ingredients listed! It is a little expensive, there is not enough seating, and the worst part is that you dont get water or anything unless you buy a water bottle (similar to European restaurants) or drink. Im so thirsty. ;) But the salmon teriyaki bento is yummy, and I wish I could try the teriyaki chicken and some rolls too!
The food is fresh and prepared neatly, daily. Although, while the sushi is tasty, the rest of the foods can be a little lacking. The Katsu was not my favourite, personally, it tasted like the oil hadnt been changed in some time.Everything else was top notch. Workers are friendly, the areas are very clean and well kept, and its filling.
Good quality, wasnt really expecting it as it seems like a fast food joint, but surprisingly the foods fresh, so healthy choice there. Its kinda noisy, so dont expect a nice intimate thing (specially being close to Times Square), thats the reason why I dont rate it higher. Good customer service.
Food is okay. I rated 4 stars because the process of getting food and paying for it takes a lot of time. Because it’s near Times Square, a lot of people going inside to eat. They make sure the outsiders can’t make a stop for toilet for free so you can use the toilet when you buy food, and they have the code for getting inside the toilet on the receipt.
I used to have a better experience in the past. I got some take out last Monday and the fish did not feel that fresh, also got a kani salad and this one had a fridge kind of taste. I ended up not finishing my 19.10 USS meal, the service from their staff, whatsoever is always great.
At the time of my visit the air conditioner in the business had gone out. It was very hot and made me question the safety and quality of my sushi. The sushi was fine, a little fishy for my liking, but the poke bowl was great. I felt later that i should have gotten two of those. I dont live next to a Wasabi, but if i did, Id definitely give it another try.
Pretty decent quick place. They have a bunch of pre-made food which you just pick up. I got the curry chicken and rice which had decent flavor, but needed more, and was a bit dry. Price (~$9) was not terrible for what I got size wise. If it was a touch tastier, would definitely be a good deal for the area. Will be back to try more dishes, for sure!
Terrible service! Unbelievably senseless service at the counter. I can 100% guarantee the owner has nothing to do with sushi or Japanese food. Everytime I pick up a box of sushi, later I found out they didnt include wasabi. How could I not get wasabi when I buy a box of sushi? How could a store have a name of Wasabi and not offer wasabi when customer buys a sushi? this is perfect example when non-Japanese people run Japanese restaurant. Ends up ruining the reputation of Japanese sushi culture. This time, I asked for a wasabi at the counter then I came home and found out there was no soy sauce. Worst non-Japanese owner running restaurant. Other food are junk. I bet some Japanese people will be pretty mad if they found this store is making how people view Japanese Sushi store.
Great lunch spot for sushi or hot Japanese food. Good portions to fill you up. Sushi and hot food are made fresh daily. They also have a wide selection of foods including breakfast sandwiches, different sushi combinations, mid day snacks, hot entrees, and made to order sushi salad bowls. The poke bowls are really good when you add the spicy mayo.
Some food choices are super tasty and the place has veggie sushi and cooked fish sushi and veggie dumplings. Also the place is really close to the Port Authority, which makes it very practical for travels. It is never overcrowded, which is excellent. However, this time I go with 4 stars, because there are still dishes which seems not to be thought thoroughly in the menu. I dont get the taste of teriyaki noodles and the chicken in teriyaki sauce is a bit too dry. Also a small request for the team leaders on waste separation (please make the organic waste bin) and recyclables. Also there is a room for improvements on tables cleanness.
I cant give it one star because lets be fair, at least they have prepackaged food available and thats edible, but they dont store their vegetables/fish well. Ive had to give back two poke bowls because the fish was tough and didnt smell fresh. I saw them making more tofu rice bowls as I was waiting to get one in exchange for the bowl i returned, but the croquette tasted badly reheated/stale, and the vegetables tasted like they had touched old fish/werent fresh either. I would go back for their bottled drinks or japanese snacks they havent personally handled, but the food they prepare themselves is not good. And this is based on visits to two locations. Sometimes their sushi is okay but after this, I dont think I want to try it anymore. Anywhere else prices their food about the same, but at least it tastes like its not poorly refrigerated.
Stays open late. Good selection. Once had food poisoning on one of their meals. Spoke to a cashier a few days later. She did not need to see my receipt and quickly offered her apologies and the option of another replacement meal or a refund on my card. The food incident never happened again.
Easy place to go if you want quick sushi. All packed fresh and ready to mix and match. They do have hot food. in the summer they have green tea soft serve ice cream. Never really a wait to check out. Limited seating but never all filled at one time. Great for take out or quick bite. Reasonably priced
Come on. They forgot what their store name was. This sushi store, Wasabi never put wasabi in my bag everytime I buy sushi. How can I eat sushi without wasabi? Please automatically throw soy sauce and wasabi even if customers dont ask for them. It is like serving a taco without hot sauce or green sauce, serving steak without salt and pepper, serving pizza without cheese and oregano. Are they trying to save money off not offering them the most essential to sushi? Instead they are about to ruin someones sushi experience.
Very good food and friendly service but terrible ambiance. The music was so loud we had to shout to talk to one another. We had the chicken teriyaki bowl which was pretty good but chicken was a bit tough. Seasoning was good.If they would turn down music volume this would be a 4 star visit.
Bright, fun place to stop by and grab sushi. I like sitting near the windows to people watch. The prices are decent for a box of various styles of sushi. I wouldn’t say it’s authentic but it’s American style of sushi (avocado rolls, California rolls, nigiri, etc). Staff is friendly and helpful.
The food and quality here is 3 stars, but the price of the food earns it 4 stars in NYC.The place has what you like for fast Japanese and Pho. The staff was happy to help and customize your order when it required it. I noticed that they kept a constant rotation of fresh food on the shelf without over stocking it where it would spoil out of date (by listing the hour it was made).I liked it here because we could get something for around $10-$15 per person in NYC where things run almost $20 per person to eat.
The sushi here is terrible. The fish pieces are tiny to way too much rice. Their onigiri is also bad. They dont have bento boxes, only rice bowls, which are also not good. My curry tofu tasted sour. Everything is also really over priced. You can go to any grocery store or deli for a better and cheaper meal. The staff is really nice though
I went there on a Friday night. The place was very well organized. The sushi was well organized, as well as the bento boxes and yakisoba, and other Japanese dishes.I think the prices were fair, not too expensive and not too inexpensive.I got a salmon box, with a couple of salmon nigiri, a smoked salmon one, and a small spicy salmon roll.I sat in and I had to ask the security guard where the soy sauce was.The sushi was pretty decent for the price, but I will definitely prefer an establishment that gives me made-to-order sushi, it is fresher and tastier. The wasabi was not that tasty either, but it was okay.
Found this place on a whim, very clean and relaxed atmosphere. They were welcoming to all, What struck me the most was the female cashier who rung me up, she was so warm and kind. As a socially awkard person of color struggling with Aspergers, I have never recieved hospitality as good as this. The food was fresh, a little too expensive for my taste, and the chicken bento lacked flavor. However, the sushi looked delicious.
A very busy location so the food turnover is fast and the food is fresh. I go to the one near one world trade and this one I would say has equally fresh food.My one complaint is the attitude I got when I asked for the bathroom code. I wanted to use the bathroom before I bought my meal since I did not want to bring my meal in the bathroom or leave it on a table. I know the the bathroom is for customers only but you do not have to act like I am trying to stab a kitten when I ask and explain the reasoning.
Honestly, I find it a little precarious when a Sushi place doesnt have working air condition and two of their fridges (which store their sushi) are not working. It makes me question the quality of what they are doing. I ended up getting a grilled chicken udon box and the chicken was extremely dry and their noodles were not sauced enough. Overall not a great experience.
Wasabi is a counter order place, but much more spacious than your average counter order place. Theres a decent amount of seating, plus a fairly large selection of prepared-in-store food and prepackaged snacks/drinks. The prices are very fair for near-Times Square, and the food is actually above average. I go often for a light meal before a movie nearby.
I am a visitor from Canada and have been to Wasabi few times and the foods is pretty good and the prices are very reasonable! 🤗I will recommend people who is looking for quick lunch or dinner and especially, for the travellers not sure where to have Asian food with reasonable prices! Btw, the chicken Katsu is pretty good but I found that the California rolls was very dry and hard, I m not sure whether I brought this at night time and have kept this roll for sometimes in the fridge!
This is one of my favorite places to go for lunch in Midtown when I am working in the city. The food is already made but it is fresh. Though there is a lot of traffic the design and layout of this business really lend itself to rush hours. You can choose from an assortment of different sushi, or prepared warm lunches all Japanese. At the counter you will even find Japanese candies and desserts.
Im not sure how I feel about this place. Today was my first time and I got the rainbow set ($13+). One of the rolls was super weird and I hope to never have to eat it again, but everything else was pretty good. The wasabi paste was not the typical wasabi that youd get at a sushi restaurant and wasnt that great, so that was a downside. The sushi was fresh enough and Im glad I tried it, but I ont know if Ill be back anytime soon. Its a good quick sushi option if youre on the go.Side note, the girl who helped ring me up was super friendly and helpful, so kudos to her.
As a frequent commuter and lover of Japanese food, I was excited to see this new opening. I tried the beef curry - the curry sauce wasnt bad, similar to what you would get in the pre packaged heat-n-go Japanese stuff. The problem was that it was cold, and the portion was deceptively small - you get a big bowl, but there is barely any curry sauce and I finished the bowl within 6 or 7 bites. Granted, I visited the place late at night (after 11PM) so this probably affected the heat. The store was bright and clean (as clean as you can get for Penn Station) so if they increase the portion and get the temperature right I would absolutely come back again.
I really liked the concept of how food is served, it was quick to pick up food and easy to pay. At busy times seating is hard to find but I wasnt planning on eating there anyways; I wouldnt call the food especially high quality like some may say but it is worth it for a quick food stop.
As far as fast food goes - its fresh, all kinds of rolls, sushi, bento boxes. To go packages or you can grab a seat and relax a bit, place is very clean, service is fast, prices are reasonable, not enough tables during the day, but gets better night time. Check out drinks as well - some interesting and healthy mixes.
One of the best deals in the city (NYC). Realty good food and you can get in and get out and be on your way. They have a very good selection of sushi, sashimi, various bowls and a lot more. If you like Asian food, be sure not to miss Wasabi when visiting New York City. We have gone multiple times every time we visit the Big Apple.
The most polite staff. However, its Winter and whenever the door opens the breeze comes in and even though its supposedly 48° F annoying when you are sitting at a table eating their delicious warm food and a cold blast of cold air comes. Although its December, hearing Christmas music in a Japanese restaurant is kind of weird.
Walked here with a co worker and always heard about it so wanted to check it out. not bad seems like a fast food sushi spot and prices were not as bad. you can get 2 rolls for 2 bucks i believe. cucumber was like 2 for 1.50 kind of deal not bad. place looked really clean nice. Coming here during lunch time in times square there would be a busy wait time. try to avoid after! i will update when i grab grub myself but i like this spot!
I really like wasabi sushi& bento even though I know its not high quality. Id avoid spicyrolls the same way its good to skip them at any budget sushi place. Thats what they do with the scrap from better fish. Its also slightly expensive for what it is. Still its so quiet and self sufficient that I really enjoy going sitting down and having lunch, no muss no fuss.
I love this place before, i always get my quick fix meal here but this past month has been awful. Hot meals are not even served hot anymore. It looks like it sits for like 2 or more hours. Yes their food still has a great taste but In my opinion, food is not as fresh as it was before. 😞
First off, the food tastes great. The flavor is there but my problem is that the helpings are in small portions for 1 person. I had the teriyaki udon and I understand that udon noodles are alot thicker so most of the time the amount of noodles used are skimmed compared to a regular order of noodles but i literally had 13 strands of udon noodles in my take out bento. I counted them because looking into my bento box it almost seemed like there wasnt anything in there to begin with. I also ordered the spicy california roll but it wasnt spicy at all. It all still tasted great but this has been a huge let down as this my first impression of this facility.
This Japanese restaurant offers favorites in a self-serve manner. The offerings are plenty, ranging from sushi to bento bowls and noodle dishes. During my visit I enjoyed two pieces of spicy tuna and two Kani pieces. The food displays are quite inviting and everything looks fresh. What I did not enjoy was the chicken katsu. It was quite dry and tough and the overly sweet dipping sauce didnt help. The ambiance is clean and the staff are always quite busy. I would have liked some ginger and soy with my rolls but it was nowhere to be seen and it wasnt offered as I checked out and left. I imagined it would have been in my carryout bag, but it wasnt.
Loved this place. Once I arrived in New York, I was desperately searching for an all you can eat sushi since I love it... I ended up here and I couldn’t be happier! They sell fresh boxes of sushi that they make in the morning, you can pay your meal and remain there to eat it. It was delicious, I came back 3 times in 5 days!
At 945pm tonite I ordered a shrimp undon noodle soup& paid $10.79. I was feeling cold & needed a hot soup. After 5 minutes I was told no shrimp available. So I said just give me any type of seafood. No seafood- no beef neither😭 instead gave fried chicken. In my opinion, fried chicken does not go well with soup. Didnt taste good at all. I said I paid for shrimp, they didnt offer any compensation, i had to ask for a cup of hot tea?!!. Needless to say I was very disappointed. Never go there again in late nites? Or ever??
I just went to this place because I was craving sushi. The inside was neat, clean, and so spacious. Its probably the best looking sushi place I have ever been to and the staff was so friendly. I got a bento box but I did appreciate the option of also just buying a set of 2 sushi rolls neatly packed in plastic. I also tried the tuna onigiri and chicken, I dont know much about onigiris, but these tasted like heaven to me.
Imagine you’re 6 years old and u walk into Dylan’s candy bar. That’s how sushi lovers feel when they enter wasabiGrab one of those paper bowls and start grabbing the individually packed delicious sushis if your choice ( regarding the fact they’ve probably been sitting in the display shelves for hours ) . Huge selection to choose and bathroom is very clean.Be prepared to bring a fat stack cuz this place is $$$ so control yourself when loading up your bowl.
First things first: Every sushi wrapped in a single-use plastic foil is the definite death of every gourmet, painful to see and a big mess for the environment! None of the fish sold in the restaurant had a certification of sustainability. I guess the companys aim is delivering pseudo-Japaneese food to people not willing to pay much - on the cost of the environment. The only plus: Staff is friendly, and you habe your food in 2mins.
A great little spot for sushi when youre not willing to commit to a whole roll and the price of a la carte isnt appealing. You can get individually wrapped pieces of sushi and the like here - the prices arent too bad either so feel free to fill up your tray! They also offer bento boxes which looked delicious and hearty, but I didnt get a chance to try them. The only downside to all the individually wrapped sushi/onigiri is all the plastic you have left over when you actually eat it.
Rice wasnt soft enough for sushi and I dont think they mixed it right, while the chicken katsu was dry. But it is a convenience food, where sets are ready for grab-and-go (after you pay of course), so if youre looking for something quick and easy, just pop in, grab and go. The noodles were a little better (and freshly made, so you have to wait a few minutes for it).
Definitely my go-to for a pickup hearty lunch or dinner. My favorite is the salmon teriyaki bowl which is pre-made and always warm and delicious. The portion sizes are also pretty big. There isnt much seating for how busy it gets at lunchtime but they bag and box the food items really well to-go.They have a pretty big variety of items as well ranging from sushi to bento boxes to soups.
Cute concept how they individual wrap every kind of sushi and you literally build your own bento box. However it can get costly if not planned properly and you can easily spend a fortune here cause you may end up forgetting the price and you pile the different pairings of sushi packets.
Well above average for to-go sushi spots in manhattan. The place is bright and very clean. The options are endless, including sushi, sashimi, rolls, poke bowls, salads, etc. They serve great hot food including soups and typical japanese entrees as well. Prices are average.
I just ate around 7pm on 8/3/17 (Thurs), called chirashi, I am not sure I remember the name correctly , it was $10.34 totalso you know which dish I am talking about (Chopped raw salmon, sweet eggs and avocado over white rice)I have a stomachache now, I think the raw chopped salmon wasnt fresh enough or something...it is very hot these days, do you preserve sushi in perfect temperature?I am really worried that I might have food poisoning.
This place is kinda pricey in my opinion, I mean $3 for two pieces of sushi??? Nonetheless this will always be my go to when Im craving sushi because I work so close by. I definitely recommend the chicken onigiri because it doesnt cost that much but is absolutely delisious. Also the chicken teriyaki bento box is a must have if youre really hungry and want to be filled up.
Thats the best restaurant in new York city the food was out of this world and the employees really good and helpful I dont understand why they dont have wasabi sushi & bento in Florida we something like that here a good sushi restaurant and the ramen soup omg so good next year I have plans all ready to go back to new York and our first stop its going to be there. All your employees are really the best. See you next year .
The food is fresh and delicious. If youre looking for that mid day pick-me up or the quick but delicious evening meal, Id definitely recommend grabbing a Chicken Teriyaki bento or their Roasted Salmon Onigiri. No matter what you pick, you cant go wrong. Id avoid going between 12:00 and 12:45 PM EST though, if possible.
Contemporary, clean and cost effective with great food options from individually wrapped sushi to warm noodle soups. Everything tastes fresh and Wasabi offers an array of sushi and sashimi varieties. Definitely not your supermarket boxed sushi place. Think of it like top tier on-the-go sushi. This restaurant is wildly popular in the UK and this is Wasabis only location (so far) in the US!
Excellent Sushi, Sashimi and Hot Japanese foods plus snacks at excellent prices.Taking a cue from that other British export, Pret a Manger, Wasabi has come across the pond with a great concept. Modern dining room with counters of well wrapped sushi singles, bento boxes with nigiri, rolls, seawees salad, baby lettuces and more, onigiri and at the hot counter, katsu, Japanese Curry and more. Oh yes, lots of different flavors of Pockys to buy along with some excellent Japenese savory rice cracker snacks. Prices are very fair for what you get, staff is helpful, and its far superior to the sushi you get at your local supermarket. There are a few Wasabi locations in the city now... I hope there will be more. This is an excellent addition to a quick sit-down lunch or take out for Al desko.
The place is clean, neatly organized, and spacious. There are a dozen seats around one corner of the shop. They sell recently wrapped sushi and onigiri by piece, and the price is fair. Portion for bento box and ramen are pretty generous for the price. Sushi and onigiri taste ok. Bento box tasted decent. Dont bother with the ramen (its like drinking oil).Food: 3/5Service: 4/5Decor: 4/5
Quick stop for refueling after Times Square browsing for Bento and Sushi. Seating is nice and cosy. Price is non intimidating. Staff is friendly. Fair to medium selection for sashimi and sushi. Chirashi set is interesting. Katsu sets a bit overdone but still flavouring. Stop in for the choice in a hurry for 4 to many groups. Try the coffee with coffee jelly!!!!!
I recently went to Wasabi for some sushi. I like how you can choose individually wrapped sushi so that you can try different things. I wish they had the dragon roll because that is my favorite. They also have bento boxes, which are nicely kept warm and comes in vegetarian, chicken, salmon and others. They also sell Pocky in green tea flavors for under $2. I really liked their cold boxed meal with sushi in it - it was under $5!
Fast-food sushi thats quick and good enough. The floor to ceiling windows will catch your eye as you walk by, and once seated, are perfect for people watching as you eat your meal. Oddly, a section of the deli cases from which you choose your bento box of pre-packed salads and sushi are in direct sunlight from the same windows. So you might want to fish around the darker corners of the deli case for cooler sushi. Unless you like your sushi warmed, that is.After you grab your box, line up to pay. You can also order noodle soup with vegetable and miso or choose from additional salads at checkout.Despite serving a constant stream of customers (which after awhile must equal the same joy as having a tube of wasabi squirted in your eye) the staff do their jolly best to keep the lines moving. Give em your money and a smile.
Noticed it for the first time after walking out of Midtown Comics yesterday with the boyfriend. Immediately I start looking at the sushi bento boxes and I was actually amazed at how much you get for the price. I ended up getting the rainbow set and a salmon onigiri (to go since the place was packed) and they were delicious! Its a little out of my way so I cant stop by often, but Ill definitely do so whenever Im in the area!
Somewhere a sushi chef is crying. If your into cold, hardened rice and fish thats been sitting in a display refrigerator slowly becoming rubbery... this place is for you. Apparently you can still pay inflated prices for something that tastes like cardboard if its being called sushi.
The chicken katsu yakiudon bento had been sitting long enough that the starches had gelled, and I had a heck of a time prying the udon apart. The breading on the chicken had gone soggy. Also, all the veg was in the bottom, not stirred into the udon. Definitely should have gotten a fork instead of chopsticks, was a trying experience eating an overpriced bento that should have been pulled and replaced rather than left out for sale.

2022-08-10I love having lunch at this place once a week! Delicious sushi! The prices are a bit above average but its near Times Square. Highly recommend!

2021-11-11As good as any supermarket sushi you can get with more options. The place is bright and clean. I got myself mostly cooked food from here, have to attend a trade show, didnt want to get sick from raw food. On site seating available.

2021-10-23Random found this place on my way.. Nice and cute. With a variety of Japanese food. Fish is fresh, food is tasty. Especially I loved origini. Love this place. Hope to come back with friends. In my opinion just one thing I would change: they give you soy sauce, wasabi and ginger in packets. I prefer in small plastic cups, its more convenient for me.

2022-07-24Awesome little sushi shop. They gave freshly made sushi on display which you take and go or eat at store, some don’t like that idea but its still fresher than any of the round table sushi I’ve had! Really enjoy this place with their tasty sushi and their suoer friendly staff!

2022-08-21This place is good for grab and go, every food is packed, cold or hot. And the sushi is fine and fresh. The price is reasonable. The shop is clean.

2022-06-26Bought five entries and was given only 3 small pack of soy sauce, NO WASABI, and three pieces of napkins…… even ginger is sold separately. Seriously???? Sushi is so so, too dry. Katsu is not crispy at all. Very disappointed.
