Really, Really boring. There was nothing to see in the 10 minutes it took to walk around and visit. Only a few folks loitering around doing nothing.
Great place. Friendly, staff, that are so good teaching, coaching, encouraging us in our sundry athletic endeavors. One feels right at home. I am always greeted cheerfully, like all are glad to see me. We are so blessed to have this organization, with such dedicated staff!
It was a beautiful spot to stop and chill to enjoy the day. Very clean and peaceful.
This city sucks at revitalizing the square. The one time we get good foot traffic (the pokemon go craze) the city council wanted them gone. Not to mention the gaudy fountain they had shipped in from out of state.
So much fun during the holidays!
They cooked my steak the right way and it tells on the menu what and how its cooked...

Old style town square with a lot of the old buildings still in pretty good condition. Our favorite place to stop here is the Crystal Restaurant which is the oldest restaurant in Watertown. Food is excellent. The ambiance and prices will remind you of the past. Very inexpensive.
Maps around there need to be updated and more add to them like food locations, library, etc for people who walk there for the first time or drive it very hard to find places when you have to walk around and find it your self or help from someone local can help your best bet is Google map if you want to experience the area local eat, drinks, etc
Very dangerous area to cross the street, cars do not stop for pedestrians, almost got hit while crossing on a red light with a stroller. Homeless person laughed at me and said his favorite hobby was watching people try to cross....referenced the game Frogger.
A Church, A nightclub, Local pub grub and Cuisine, A store for tablet on gaming, Subway, residential apartments, A Congressmans office, and memorials to fallen Union Soldiers are just the tip of the offerings. Lovely on a snowy February night, a must see!
The town square in Watertown is a lovely area. We recently visited our granddaughter there and enjoyed walking around then eating lunch outside at Vitos Gourmet - it was very good food and employees are very helpful and nice! I was told that the park and fountain were designed by the same man that designed Central Park in New York City! There are several beautiful old churches and gorgeous homes in the historical district and it is just a charming place!
It had fun shops, but we couldnt visit any of them because it was a Monday and they were all closed.
Lots of the cutest little shops, the day I was there someone was setting up for a block party! Love the little older downtowns!
Interesting shops and thankfully the sidewalks are cleared of snow unlike so many sidewalks in front of homes located in the 400 and 500 block of Massey street and Arsenal Street near Massey in front of bussinesses
Nice little park in the center of town if you can get there without being run over.
Love public square just please work on the traffic flow and pedestrian cross walks, its a cluster!
Not the Square you remember! Cleaned up beautifully, lots of hard work by local vendors. Worth checking out

The aftermath of the lake effect on February 6th, 2️⃣💜2️⃣🎄 The day that I thought I was in Alaska(snow and cold) and Illinois(snow and wind), welcome to upstate New York where the weather can sometimes make you think youre in Arendelle from the movie Frozen or should it be described as Beauty and the Beast(beautiful snow but could be scary, dangerous as well)🌨⛄❄☃️

2018-05-26-Big Review-Summary: Nice spot with plenty to see and do. Plenty of bars, shops, tattoo shops, game hobby shops, small clubs, NY quick eats, and a nice Park in the center. The farther from the center you go, the more sketchy it becomes. Weekend nights have a rowdy bunch that hang outside of the bars, but thats to be expected.Parents/Adults/Out-of-Towner: Get a babysitter for a date night. Not much for kids here other than the small park in the center, which is a short visit at best during the day. Place is mainly adult oriented with some places for young adults also.Pokemon GO players: Numerous Pokestops and Gyms throughout the area. Plenty of Pokemon spawn here and I find lures popped at the Pokestops consistently. If hitting the spot late at night, be sure to either bring something for self defense, and/or rove in a group for safety purposes. Ive not had an issue traveling alone yet, but Im a hard target.

2021-12-12I love our public square. There is always something great going on at some point or another and the shops offer so many items to purchase for anything you are looking for. Plus it is the central point of the city so it serves as a great short cut no matter where you are heading.

2021-09-05I loved downtown, being Im a Southern girl. But very wide open spaces. I saw many homeless/ low income people. But seems as if they are taken care of. They appeared to be in a good mental place. God bless them 🙏🏽

2021-09-04Good place to play Pokemon Go. Its a good idea to go up Washington St to the last church and reverse back around and go down to JB wise parking lot. About five laps of that and youll have a decent amount of items
