Very nice country setting for any outdoor event. I was here for a wedding with the nicely painted barn as the backdrop for the ceremony and Seneca Lake view behind us. There is more than enough parking, but any persons with difficulties walking uphill, or in general, should be driven up to the parking area next to the barn. The inside of the barn venue is very nicely decorated and maintained and can be used for a variety of events. My use of the word barn should not be interpreted as a detractor for this location. A large tent was used on the opposite side of the building for the reception meal with the inside of the top floor used for dancing and other portions of the reception. I have photos of the inside of the barn venue, but I wont post them out of respect for the participants and not having their permission. I would recommend this venue to others with the additional recommendation of using DJ- Todd Whitford. His musical services added to the success of this wedding.
The barn is wonderful for your event, especially your wedding!!! Its rustic charm and scenic views overlooking Seneca Lake are amazingly breathtaking!!! The barns indoor twinkling lights look magical at night. We celebrated my daughters wedding ceremony and reception in early October and a space heater was not necessary, but an option. Pauline, the owner, is very knowledgeable about local area offerings, whether you need a local farmer or an area caterer. She is also the sweetest woman, who is willing to help and make suggestions. I also recommend renting the house. The kitchen is awesome!!! You can cook for a very large event right on premises, as we did. There are three full bathrooms, 6 bedrooms, 2 extra rooms for sleeping (4 if you include the living room and its adjoining room) and much more space if you need to utilize air beds, which we did. The house has 2 porches, one in front and a large side porch. There is plenty of room, so people arent on top of each other, yet its also wonderful for intimate family gatherings, whether in the dining room or living room areas. Weaver-View Farms will always hold a special place in my heart. Its a great place to create new, lasting memories. Its just a charming place. I highly recommend it!!!
What an amazing place! The owners are SO SO friendly. They have the most amazing assortment of home/farm made jams and jellies, baked goods, quilts and quilting materials. If youre a quilter they will have what you need! They also have a great assortment of (Flu/COVID-19) face masks. They have a few XL sized, and lots of; mens, womens, and even kids!My last visit I purchased 6 masks ($20) and suggested they make some checker flag masks for people going to Watkins Glen International to race. (once they can open for spectators you might still want to wear one in a big crowd). They are hand washable.Make it a point to stop in.
Stumbled on this shop on a trip. My quilter loved the material, quilts, notions, etc. She had a wonderful discussion with the young lady in the barn. Whatever folks are writing about the items inside you just cant believe it until you walk around the path inside! Jams, jellies, paintings, hand made items, and my favorite- fudge.

2021-08-13We purchased a quilt here for our anniversary along with butter, maple syrup and dish towels. The shop has numerous jams and jellies and pickled items but most of the ingredients contained ingredients often found in commercial products. For example a package of sticky buns had high fructose corn syrup. All that aside it is a lovely barn shop and the keeper took time to explain how the quilt we purchased was designed and made.
