Claire is wonderful. We couldnt have had someone any better than Claire to organise our wedding in Central Park. From the first time emailing and up to the day was as smooth as possible. Planning a wedding, especially abroad, can be so stressful but Claire made sure everything was how we wanted and always kept us up to date. Absolutely amazing! To be honest, I Googled get married in Central Park and Wed in Central Park was the first result. I emailed for some information - and then stayed in contact with Claire, who organised absolutely everything!! She was very patient, and answered all my (sometimes silly!) questions very quickly and professionally!! Everything was perfect!! If youre thinking about getting married in New York, Wed in Central Park is a one-stop shop and everything will be taken care of!! And the prices are amazing too!! I wouldnt have thought in a million years that Id be able to afford to get married in the beautiful Central Park (specifically in the Shakespeare Garden!) We had a wonderful photographer, a brilliant officiant, a beautiful location and everything went so smoothly!! Claire keeps the whole process very simple and easy to understand. After looking online for someone to help us plan our perfect central park wedding we found Claire. Initial email responded to quickly, all questions answered throughly and service cost very reasonable. She paired us with Clarissa to conduct ceremony after several emails discussing the wording of ceremony. A very genuine person and wants all couples to feel comfortable. 100% recommended Wed in Central Park!
I was looking to plan something small but beautiful and meaningful. I came across wed in central park and I knew that was it. Claire helped me plan my wedding in under a months time. She helped with vows, time, wedding officiant and more. I am from NY and so many of my friends were in awe that we got married in Central Park! You will be the star of the day with many congrats as you walk through. We married at Ladys Pavilion and Id recommend Claire again! We were nervous about organising a wedding from the other side of the world, however Claire took care of everything and updated us along the way. Our day was absolutely perfect, from the location (Ladies Pavilion), the flowers, the celebrant, the photographer, and of course, Brian our musician. Could not more highly recommend Claire and Wed in Central Park!
Its scary buying into elopement and destination packages, especially when you dont meet one-on-one beforehand or during the process. But I am telling you that Wed in Central Park is a reputable, amazing service. Claire was easily the best option from what we could glean from online searching. We chose her for our wedding trip, because she offered the most coherent explanation of her services. She also had a wide variety of options for locations, guests, and personalizing your ceremony. Ultimately, she also offered the best packages in terms of pricing. Others presented a base package with lots of features you may not want and only went up in price and amenities from there. Wed in Central Park seemed much more inclusive and accommodating for our needs. Her packages only presented the wedding staples, and then offered us the options of add-ons. I really appreciated this, and I was surprised how few others offer the add-on option. It seems reasonable, and it was extremely easy to get precisely the services we wanted for a reasonable, affordable price. There were lots of reasons to be paranoid about the process, but paranoia is all it was. Everything we paid for, we got. No surprises. All we had to do was answer emails along the way and show up. As a bride, I was able to relax and just let everyone else handle the details. My husband and I are immensely please with our ceremony, videographer, and photographer. We have beautiful memories to keep from the day and not a single moment of stress to recall. If we could go back to our wedding date and choose all over, it would be Wed in Central Park every time.

Claire helped us to have a wonderful wedding at Ladies Pavillion in 2014 its was perfect and so easy. She found us an incredible photographer, sorted the permits and gave me tons of tips and assistance. Would highly recommended!

Great experience with Claire from Wed in Central Park. Her communication was excellent from start to finish and planning the wedding from Scotland made this really important as she put my mind at ease with arranging everything. Unfortunately my wedding couldnt go ahead due to Covid 19 but I wouldnt hesitate to book with Claire in future. Highly recommend!

Claire helped us organise our wedding in 2014 from the UK and I cannot fault her! She was organised, knowledgeable and professional. We found her just from googling wedding planner for New York and emailed her straight away. She replied quickly and was so nice and genuine that we felt very comfortable with her.Claire made lots of suggestions for restaurants and made the whole process so much easier. She arranged for the registrar, photographer and violinist to all be there so we didnt have to and took the pressure of us.We would definitely recommend using Wed in Central Park for anyone planning their special day in this beautiful place!
Claire was fantastic when planning our wedding! We got married in August at the ladies pavilion in central park, we travelled from England and had the time of our lives! She made the whole process very stress free and enjoyable. She planned our day perfectly I hardly had to do anything! Claire has been amazing throughout the planning our wedding! We travelled over from Scotland to get married at the Ladies Pavilion in Central Park and the day was absolutely perfect. Any stresses I had claire put me at ease and organised our day perfectly and was always there with a quick reply when I had a question about the day. Not only did she help make planning a wedding in New York from Australia easy and as stress free as possible she also made sure that our day was absolutely perfect by ensuring that every person she recommended from hair and makeup to celebrant was both professional and the right fit for us. From the moment I made contact up until our wedding day, Claire was always very helpful and informative ensuring that we didnt miss even the smallest of details arranging everything we needed. My now husband and I barely lifted a finger, and Claire was always so quick to answer any emails and questions I had however silly I thought they were. We live in Australia so of course was a little hesitant in hiring someone overseas but Claire was with us every single step of the way and our wedding day could not have gone any more smoothly and stress free. The celebrant Hope, photographer Chao and the bagpiper Al were all such wonderful and friendly people as well, we wouldnt change a single thing. When I started to help my future sister in law plan her wedding to my brother in New York I asked in a Facebook group for reccomendations for a Wedding Planner and several people reccomended Claire at Wed in Central Park so we booked her to help.Claire was amazing throughout the planning, helping us add things in as the bride thought of things she wanted and giving us advice on timings and locations.In the run up to the day she sent detailed emails so that we all knew what would be happening and when.On the day she was on the other end of the phone to help us, which was really reassuring. She booked us an amazing officiant and photographer who we met on the day of the wedding.We couldnt have been happier with how the wedding went and we couldnt have done it without Claire.

I cant tell you why exactly, but as soon as I started to look into her wedding service I just knew she was right for the job-I had a feeling! Wed in Central Park (Claire) was a fantastic support, guide and organiser for our wedding in New York. We got married in the cop cot (Claires recommendation) in June 2016 and we honestly could not have wished for it to go any better. Im a planner/worrier and claire tuned into this very quickly and supported me throughout. All of claires suppliers did not disappoint (jay, angela, Larissa, chao and the amazing T&Dana of Metro Look) and really made the day for us. Thank you for everything Claire!
Right from the start they asked all the right questions to help us build the perfect wedding day with minimal stress on our part, and on the day it all went perfectly to plan. The service is fantastic value for money too, all involved from the planning right down to the wedding singer were absolutely amazing :)

We travelled from ireland to get married on st patricks day at ladies pavillion in central park and found the whole experience brilliant. Clare was amazing and any queries i had she always got back 2 me straight away.totally recommend her.

2022-06-26We chose Claire to help us plan our ceremony as we had no idea where to even start with planning o necessary paperwork! From the start Claire was so helpful explaining everything we needed, all the options available to make our day perfect, she then answer every single one of my millions of questions no matter how small! She made the whole process from of planning stress free for us knowing we had someone so experienced helping us. We we very fortunate to have Claire attend our big day and she honestly went above and beyond, liaising with all our suppliers to allow us to just enjoy our day and be in the moment. I couldn’t recommend her enough, she was truly amazing!!

2022-06-23Wedding of Tony & Lesley. 3/5/22We are from Chorley in Lancashire England we met 13 yrs ago in prison ! We work for the Prison Service. We went to New York 5 yrs ago and loved it so when we decided to get married there was only one place we had to do it, Central Park NYC.We originally booked it over 2 yrs ago but due to the dreaded virus it was cancelled not once but 3 times. So we are due to go in 2 weeks and guess what … Tony catches Covid , nightmare. We had to take a test 24 hrs before departure which had to be negative. We were flying on a Saturday and had to take the test on the Friday, on the Thursday Tony was still positive, as you can imagine we were thinking the worst we weren’t going, we would have lost everything. So on the day of test we were extremely anxious but luckily he tested negative to our utter relief . The wedding is going ahead at long last.We had to get the marriage license at least 24 hrs before the ceremony, we had a video call with the New York City Hall to get the license so we didn’t need to go to the City Hall in person, we had to be in New York to get the license.We stayed at The Park Central Hotel for 5 nights as it was close to Central Park. We wanted a horse & carriage to pick us up from the hotel but they are not allowed to pick up from the city so we opted for the tuk tuk instead (bicycle carriage) it was great. Lots of people wishing us congratulations as we rode through the streets.We chose Wagner Cove for the ceremony as it was private and lovely beside the lake. The ceremony was lovely as it was just the two of us. The vows were written by Claire and ourselves, it was personal and heartfelt to us. The officiant Larissa was so nice and made us feel very relaxed during the ceremony.I had my dress made at home and travelled with it in the suitcase, I also had a bouquet made at home but decided it would take up to much room so on the morning of the wedding we went to the market near Central Park and had a fresh flower bouquet made up.We had lots of beautiful photos taken by Florencia , she chose the locations to have the photos took.After the ceremony and photos we walked to the Tavern On The Green for a lovely meal, the staff gave us a card and a large piece of cake it was delicious.We would not hesitate to recommend Claire as your wedding planner she was fantastic and very professional all through pandemic and always answered any questions or queries we were concerned about.Thank you Claire for everything.Mr & Mrs Pilkington x

2022-03-07After my Wife and I decided we wanted to have a small wedding ceremony in Central Park, we didnt know where to start! My wife found Claire online and ultimately decided that it would be easiest and most stress free to work with her...and it was! Our whole wedding was basically set up within a week and all we had to do was answer a few questions that Claire sent us via email. It was actually so easy that we were starting to wonder: Is this too good to be true? From personal experience, I can confidently say, Claire is a true professional and will put together one of the most magical experiences for you - We had the most lovely violinists entertain our guests and our videographer, photographer, AND officiant were so absolutely perfect and helped to make the day even more special. She helped us put together an organized schedule for the day in which she communicated to all her vendors and the day proceeded without any issues. The fact that we were able to just sit back, relax and enjoy our special day was such a gift, and we cant thank Claire enough!

2022-01-10We initially got in touch with Claire in September, 2021, looking to arrange a wedding ceremony for just after the New Year. The communication with Claire from start to finish was excellent, with emails being answered very attentively. Claire thoroughly explained the process to us and made us comfortable throughout the process. We never at any stage felt like this was a bridge too far for us, and at no stage did we think our dreams to get married in Central Park would not be realised. Claire was very sympathetic to the way we wanted the ceremony conducted, and came up with the perfect ceremony wording for us, which only required some slight alterations our end to conclude. On the day, our Celebrant, Kevin, was the perfect host. His enthusiasm, charm, charisma and humour really contributed to making our special day, unforgettable! 2022-07-13We had such a positive wedding experience thanks to Wed in Central Park. Claire helped us with a location for the ceremony, provided guidance for our vows and poetry reading and provided the nicest and most professional team to assist us with our needs the day of. Our officiant, Larissa, was kind, gracious, charming and personable and did an excellent job with our ceremony. Our photographer, Jakub, was patient, accommodating and really dedicated to getting the most beautiful shots for us. These guys run a smooth operation and have the nicest people working for the company. I have nothing but positive things to say about our experience.

2020-12-08I used Wed in Central Park for my Central Park wedding this past fall. Claire is very responsive and responds to emails very quickly. We were able to plan my wedding in less than one month! We decided that we would like the ceremony to be under Bethesda Terrace due to the possibility of inclement weather in October, and Claire was helpful and quick with organizing the ceremony, getting the park permit and an officiant.We also did extra photography and ordered the bridal bouquet through Claire. The photographer we had, Julieanne, was incredible and knew all the NYC places where we wanted to get photos.It was honestly really easy and low stress working with Claire. I would recommend her to anyone, and I have already recommended her to 2 other people.

Every last detail was seen to and no questions I ever asked were left unanswered. Our photographer Justin and Videographer Alex were soooo amazing ! Justin’s ideas for just the right shot and Alex for not only doing the video but also a live stream for my family at home.
