Theyre permanently getting rid of the bar area post COVID and they keep getting rid of items in favor of Wegmans brand stuff thats just mediocre. Most agregiously, they stopped being 24 hours.
It was a fast in out I just couldnt find the kind of melatonin I was looking for as lots were of the shelve plus my now exwife got them for me so it was my first time to be honest then feeling defeated and growing irritated as well I walk over the the pharmacist talk to one politely asking for assistance making sure to apologize to customer as well the the manager Im thinking didnt even catch his name said hey there sir how can I help you everything ok and I stated yah Im not sure seems like nothing is there so we looked together he was so polite and reassured me that there are a few place they were and knew were they were next place BOOM there they were a fast fist bomb and a thank you sir job well done thats what keeps me coming to this over priced store some times its just worth it
Not one of the “top tier” Wegmans. No hot bar, even though a lot of other Wegmans have them already back open. It’s just ok. Not on par with Perinton or Pittsford.
Just a good neighborhood establishment. A long way from Loblaws on Portland Ave. We do need Wegmans back in the neighborhood. Small satellite corner stores with a pharmacy.
Convenient and outstanding produce grown locally when possible. Recently out of stocks have been a problem, but it is still far and away the best supermarket option.
Wegmans is always a good place to shop at. The selection is fantastic, the service is great, but you pay 30% more here than you will any other place.
Multiple times they have messed up my prescription. I get a text message stating something is ready and when I arrive to pick it up within the timeframe they require it is not ready. They have ignored stat refills for when my baby needed prescription diaper cream for a terrible rash so he sat and screamed for hours and finally when I went in 6 hours later they said “ops sorry we didn’t see it” now today I arrive to pick up my prescription and I even called two days ago to make sure they don’t restock it and whomever I spoke too didn’t leave a note in the system. It even showed on my chart that I did in fact place a call. Changing to Walgreens immediately. All Wegmans is encouraging customers to do is to go elsewhere between their ‘brand only’ expensive options and their lack of service.

Just too big and so hard to find what youre looking for. But if you arent pressed for time and like to spend extra money for the giant and unfriendly atmosphere go for it. I Im not saying that I dont shop here, as I do use the pharmacy and they have an extremely large selection especially items that are not easily found in the community in other stores.
Wegmans used to have the best baked goods, especially their donuts. Not anymore! The filled donuts are void of filling and have become bite sized. For what you pay for them could you ensure they are actually WORTH the price??!!. Until then, Donuts Delite are my go to.
I worked at Lyell as Cashier…4 yrs. I wish It had been Chili….I would still be there. Chili Paul is soooo kind to me. I always say — if you want/need something at any Wegmans—just ask! But I really love MY Chili-Paul store. Great Customer Service and great employees!
This place has it all. But my families favorites are the Mediterranean salad bar and the serve yourself candy aisle.
Wegmans is a very pleasant store to shop. Personally outstanding.Wegman is also having difficulty filling shelf of some item and I am sure it a transportation as we as manufacturing due again to lack of material etc. Plus add the political restrictions.One thing I dont care about Wegmans especially in Chili is, they are stocking more and more of their products then other manufacturers product and tell you those ITEMS are not selling , which is not true.
Super clean grocery store. Little posh for my liking. Bought a mixed berries plate with no price marked on it. Ended up costing $19. Definitely not worth it. None the less we were able to get everything we needed.
A confusing amount of selection, good prices, they push organic and non GMO. Out of regular items habitually. Intentionally make the navigation into a maze. Friendly helpful staffing, exchange or refund without hassle. Pharmacy is quality and personal

I bought raspberries I found and big on it ,it is unhygienic .they are selling like that ,I called costumer service and they redound me but still not hygiene.
Has always been my go to for grocery shopping, however lately their prices have been rising so much its unreal. I understand inflation and that due to other factors in our economy prices for everything are rising, but Wegmans is increasing their prices at a substantial rate.
Love Wegmans, I do have a suggestion though... dont remove all the carts from the cart corrals especially by the maternity parking with small children. Trying to get a toddler through the parking lot with a baby/pregnant, purse and bags if quite difficult.
Wegmans is the place to be for top shelf quality goods and services. Their delivery is impeccable and worth the money you spend.

They didnt have what I needed. Ive been going there less ever since the paper bag thing, the parking lot getting wacky, and now the mask thing. I liked it better when they put their energy into their products. Its sad.
UPDATE 6/30/2021 This store has only gone further below its substandard expectations. I tried to buy the 1# strawberries and had to go through 9!! different boxes to find one that was not full of moldy, crushed fruit. I brought this up to a produce dept. staff member and his reply was What do you want me to do about it? With Aldis across the street, I see many of my neighbors and friends shopping at Aldis instead. Also note, Wegmans DO NOT sanitize surfaces between customers as they advertise presently!! and They have dropped so far below average in many depts, produce, diary especially. When you walk into the produce on Saturday mid-morning, the place is stripped already, they are out of common stock items weeks in a row. I spoke to the produce manager and all he could tell me, well, all orders are done by the computer now, we dont control what we get. Same question to the diary manager, twice and same canned answer We dont control what comes in yadda yadda yadda...It like a caned script they all must follow to protect the almighty Daniel Wegman foolishness. ITS CALLED VENDOR MANAGED INVENTORY, TALK TO THE VENDORS!!!!!!Even went to the new store manager Dan, very nice person, promised to have things fixed and improved....3 weeks ago. We now buy less than 50% there due to these constant outages, lowered store appearance standards and no one wants to rock the boat at 1500 Brooks Avenue.

Still stands as the best grocery store Ive dealt with on a repeated basis. The customer service is fantastic, the generic items taste great. The helping-hands team is always so observational and go out of their way to help you with your cart if they are in the area and youve finished loading your car. Its a comfortable shopping place where employees dont seem to be miserable - a large step up from some other big-name stores. From my experience, this is across the board and not based on a single-store experience.
I was able to find everything I was looking for and a few other things. When I asked for help the staff were very polite, especially one by the name of Vladimir. Please continue the work you are doing, wonderful place to shop!

I have gone to quite a few Wegmans in my life but, this is so far the cleanest and nicest one! From my college days to now. The food is always great and the people have only gotten nicer. Now if I could just find a way to get seafood delight subs back that would make it the best again

I stopped in hoping to grab some late night sushi however at the chili location they was out, the very nice gentleman working the sushi bar even though they were cleaning up for the night made me fresh Philly rolls with no issue. Excellent customer service and honestly made my night
Always an awesome place to shop. Hands down the best grocery chain in the world. Prices are fantastic, Wegmans brand products are as good if not better than name brand products. They have an awesome beer section with the pick your own 6 pack with regularly rotated beers. Even for a beer enthusiast you can probably find several things youve never had before. They even have free tastings sometimes which is awesome.
I love this grocery store. The porduce is wonderful. Fresh vegetables and fruit all year long. The staff are polite and helpful.

Fresh produce and meat orders that are filled for Instacart orders are not so great. Im disappointed that the customer service desk states the policy is to get reimbursed from Instacart.Thats completely missing the point! First, poor quality/old dated products shouldnt even be on the shelf; and second- if Im requesting an exchange for good products its because I need the item I brought back to the store- I dont need my money back!

Very well stocked, employees very knowledgeable of the layout of the store and where items were located, in the store. Prices were very reasonable, and compatible with our stores back home in Spokane, Washington... the produce section was huge, very well stocked, AND FRESH!! This was our first time shopping at a Wegmans, and we will definitely be back..
Everybody knows how great Wegmans is. But like everywhere, they are all getting too expensive and shelves are getting emptier.

I absolutely love the Wegmans2Go service here. Ive bought several times now using the app. Between the coupons, no wait time and quality, it has been excellent. Today was the first day my food was incorrect. They took care of it quickly and offered a cookie for the mistake. I was also asked by a couple employees if I had been helped, while I was waiting. The store is also my favorite Wegmans to shop at. Always pleased with the quality of food and service!
Wegmans makes me so happy! My husband tries to get me to buy our groceries somewhere else and save a couple dollars but I refuse. Sometimes shopping at Wegmans (alone) is the highlight of my day! Everything is so nice and clean. Items are easy to find and set up so pretty 😍 Spending a little extra money on groceries is worth it if you leave the place feeling happy and relaxed! And the prepared food makes it easy to get a little snack to eat in the van before I get home and have to share with the kids. If youre a mom take it from me and treat yourself to a grocery trip to Wegmans! Your worth it 😁
If you haven’t been to a Wegmans yet you’re in for a treat. Their pretty organized, they have plenty of food selections. Many brands are their own branded but there are comparable name brand items. They have a nice selection of gluten free and organic section. Their bakery is delicious. They usually have fresh produce. They also have a Cafe where they severe up warm food, like pizza, wings, soups, subs, coffee, salad bar etc. They have a pharmacy as well. Shopping experience is nice and the staff are usually friendly and helpful.

Giving this rating because of a pre packaged salad they sold me had a long blonde hair in the bottom of it. Disgusting. The least they could have done is responded to my email which they choose not to do.Ill amend my review if I ever hear back.*Just adding that after 9 months there was no response.
Probably my favorite wegmans to go to. The store is always clean and very well stocked. The staff is very friendly and helpful! Plus, The bathrooms are always ridiculously clean!
Even though they were out of headaches and only had the card portion I still got my fish for the price of haddock because as head of Department was waiting on me and she was awesome thank you for a great dinner

This is my all-time favorite Wegmans store! Out of all their locations Ive visited/shopped at, this is the one I keep coming back to. Everyone is so friendly and helpful and thats big for me. If you have what Im looking for at a fair price, thats great, but if you dont treat me with courtesy, chances are you wont see me too often if ever again. But make me feel like my business is valued and appreciated and youve got a customer who will often bypass your competitors and bring others with me.
Love the Scan app for use while I shop. Scanning and bagging it immediately, and then using the self-checkout, makes for a speedy shopping experience.
It’s Wegmans, can you give it any rating other than 5 stars? Great selection for every day grocery shopping. Amazing prepared food section comes with pizza by the slice, sushi rolls to-go, Asian bar, wing bar, and salad bar. The sub shop makes fresh rolls every day in house. The list goes on, check it out for yourself!

It is our local Wegmans so we shop here more often than any other, but I like the way the store lay-out and the employees are wonderful. I would recommend the store to anyone who lives close enough by. The prepared food, bakery, and deli are all fantastic. I am a huge fan of the large beer selection they have in the back corner, many have them if not all but it is a huge selection.

Food is always good but when you order extra meat and the charge you for it... you expect there to be extra meat. I ordered a turkey sub with bacon and salami and I got a tiny piece of turkey..... not too happy today.
My cashier over loaded my plastic bags even after I took the time to put things on the conveyer belt in groups that I wanted bagged together ( 3 packages of boneless & bone-in pork chops and a family pack of hamburger in one plastic bag seems like a bit much to me) otherwise it was a very pleasant experience, clean, plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables was able to find everything I needed. I absolutely love the Wegmans app.

Wegmans was our go to place to grocery shop. Now its down to #3 on the list. Prices, to be sure, are usually lower if you can find the product elsewhere. Selection, because more and more shelf space is now house brand. Last, it just doesnt feel as friendly and helpful as it has in decades past, when it made its reputation bones. Still a good place to shop.
Besides not having the shoppers club anymore and prices seem to be high, I love the produce and meat departments. I still go to other grocery stores for the cheaper dried goods
This is my favorite Wegmans. I shopped here 15 years ago then we moved to Brockport. We recently moved back to Spencerport and I am very happy to be back at Chili/Paul Wegmans again.
I go here pretty much every other day. Great gluten free selections, including at the hot food bar. They stop selling products all the time which is annoying, but the Wegmans brand stuff is pretty good so its okay for the most part.
I shop at Wegmans but do not like that so many name brands have been taken off the shelves and replaced by Wegmans brand. Some of their brands to not taste that good. Their regular bread does not taste good and molds fast

Wegmans use to carry EVERYTHING. If you needed something food related you would find it at Wegmans. Not so much anymore.
I always Loved Wegmans until now. They have taken the majority of brand names off their selves. And there fresh fruits and vegetables are way overpriced. So their only bargains are their kitty litter, toilet paper, and their brands. And I do not have that choice of brands that I used to love. Give me the old Wegmans back!
We take a daily pilgrimage to Wegmans. Someone in our family always is heading to Wegmans. Weather its for food items or medication we are heading for Wegmans. Handicapped parking available and both store and bathrooms are clean. You will love Wegmans with the staff and employees who are very friendly.

Disappointed in the fruit bowl that we picked up. My husband and I were craving fruit after I got discharged from the hospital from having our first baby. And we asked for a fruit bowl with watermelon, strawberries, grapes, pineapple, and melon. Just NO mango or honeydew! Entire bowl was mainly melon! So disappointed!!!! This is the second time I’ve had an issue with ordering fruit with the catering department and had to leave a review this time, because once again I’m disappointed. Would have gone in and complained but my husband ran in to pick up that and few other items. As I was still in discomfort. It wasn’t until we got home and saw it wasn’t done well. I’ve seen better fruit bowls in the coolers! Don’t order fruit from the catering department unless you plan on being disappointed!

Best place to shop in this area. Though some things are more expensive than other stores if u take the time to cruise the aisles they have some good deals. Great coffee bar and a variety of cooked food with a clean spacious dining area. Rest rooms area always clean and fresh 24/7. Checkout lines run smoothly, never an excessive wait no matter how busy the store is. All employees go out of their way to accommodate you. I will only buy my fresh produce, meat and dairy products here
Quick checkouts, very clean, nice layout, not impressed with produce. Wish they had more brand name items. Cashier forgot to put a bag in my cart. Drove to my hour long destination and noticed items missing. Came back and they didnt find the bag so they told me to go find the items and bring them back to customer service. Did the shopping and a different person helped at the counter. I mentioned to both this was a huge inconvenience. Costing me to lose 3 hours of my time and a half tank of gas. Neither one even said they were sorry for the inconvenience. They could care less!! Check your bags before leaving this store!
This is my favorite Wegmans in the Rochester area for the following reasons.1) Wide aisles (No congestion)2) Parking lot accessible from multiple roads, easy to find parking.3) Staff attentitve and helpful4) Hot meals, subshop, pizza, sit down area clean and fresh.5) Safe environment
I definitely think this is their best location... Everything is laid out well in the store and the workers there are always helpful/friendly!
They no longer carry a lot of the bulk items I used to buy and I they just recently refused to sell me alcolol even though I am 23 and have a valid, non expired ID. It is an out of state one they were unfamiliar with and just told me no, even though I have purchased alcohol there numerous times. I will do my best to not shop here anymore and would advise other people to do the same (even though they essentially monopolize the supermarket industry here)
I dont typically shop at this Wrgmans but because of its proximity to Target we stopped in for a few items. Of course, the store is clean but no 2 Wegmans are set up the same way so sometimes you spend extra minutes searching for s specific item.

This is one of the top Wegmans weve ever shopped in. Prepared foods and sub area is large, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed. In the summer, there is outdoor seating. Baked goods are made on premises, so they are fresh and here is a wide selection. Suggested recipes and ingredients are handy, as is milk in the front of the store. Grocery section offers a huge variety and there is a bulk section for packaged as well as unpackaged foods. Meats are vacuum sealed and the fish is fresh. Wegmans prices may be a tad higher than other stores, but this one is worth it. Our favorite grocery store.
I just left the store and I wanted to thank Jay or Jake, not quite sure of his name working in produce. I was looking for Caesar dressing in the produce cooler and there was none. I asked him if he look in the back and he said if course. Unfortunately there was none there either. I said thank you and went on with my shopping. He went back a second time and found an alternative to the brand I was looking for and found me in the store to make sure I had my dressing for supper. He saved my supper. Please let his supervisor know what a great job he is doing, Great customer service! Thanks again!
I find Wegmans a wonderful place to ADMIRE food. But I, unfortunately cannot afford to shop there on a regular basis. While you point out that some items are cheaper than Tops, many items are priced higher than Walmart and some other stores.Just today I picked up a package of pistachios at Wegmans for $1.50. Went to the Dollar Tree and I found exactly the same item for $1.00. That ticked me off. Frankly I shop at Wegmans as a last resort.One more thing: the Jamestown Wegmans offers Seniors a discount on Tuesdays. Why cant Seniors enjoy the same benefit here in Rochester?Sorry about the negatives but I feel they are true..
Wegmans is actually the best place to get food. Theres a large variety of everything, from gluten free and dairy free options to exotic food items, theres something here for everyone. Its also rather reasonably priced, an the products are of good quality.
This place has gotten a lot worse since they remodeled (if that is indeed what they did). Three high end brands I usually purchase are no longer available. Quantity has gone up with price, but selection down. And if you want to check out in a timely manner forget it, Wegmans is taking Tops lead and leaving 80% of the check outs without a cashier. Prepare to wait 20 minutes to check out with one of the four lanes they may have open.
Early mornings are the best. Everything is fresh not long lines and the staff always goes the extra mile, even for my dog for what I wanted to get him for Christmas.
You have a deal for 10$ on your large pizza 2 toppings on super bowl Sunday. I go in at 4pm to get a pizza and I was told they are too busy to make a pizza for me and I have to come back at 6:10. How convenient is that when the game starts at 6! Maybe you should not have that deal if you can’t keep up with your orders and have more ppl working! Very disappointing!!
Love this store! Always clean and organized. Theres a sense of quality as soon as you walk in. Recent upgrades to the pharmacy make it look nicer too. I dont remember if there have been any recent layout changes either so things are quite easy to find.
If I could give Wegmans less than zero stars I would. Consistently failing to enforce the masking and distancing requirements means Wegmans is a dangerous place. I will only go when it is unavoidable.

Wegmans labels their own food line with Gluten Free, Vegan, Vegetarian and other labels. It makes buying specialty food very easy. They also have a great gluten free and natural food area.
Has what you need and stuff you didnt expect to find at a grocery store. Done with a comfortable atmosphere and the most pleasant employees you will find without feeling like they are kissing ass. They seem to want your visit to be a pleasant one.
At first-disappointment. I was looking for a head of lettuce. This store didnt have any. So i switched up the dinner menu. Nice steaks, potatoes, fresh corn on the cob. Thank you Wegmans.

Wegmans is a nice, assuming you have not ever left Rochester and Wegmans is all you know. Given the other supermarkets in the area, Tops, Walmart. Wegmans is super. The issues with Wegmans are numerous. One, they carry mostly Wegmans brand items, the ready to eat food is made with Wegmans brand ingredients. Which, if these ingredients were good, no problem. But, given that they are so hit and miss, mostly miss you are left with very little choice. If you ever have a chance go to a Giant Eagle Market, that is what Wegmans needs to emulate.
You have to love Chili-Paul Wegmans! Short lines even during busy hours. Quick over-the-counter Seafood and Deli service. Tidy dining area. Great store.
Wow do i miss wegmans!!! Best grocery store in the nation. You dont realize how good you have it until you move to new England and cant get the amazing prepared foods and the fesh breads and produce and the warm feeling you get inside. The stores up here are average at best and nothing like wegmans. Luckily they are coming this way as theres one near boston. I drive from maine or new Hampshire depending on where im living during the week as i live in both states and go to that wegmans. Its worth the drive. A+++++

Ive never shopped at another grocery store that has topped Wegmans yet!! And I have traveled the U.S. quite extensively!You really have a challenge to beat them in marketing!! They make you want to buy everything in the store!!
Customer service has a lot to be desired. Definitely not what it used to be. I was overcharged for my vegetables after I questioned the codes that were put in. I shouldnt have to argue with a cashier to double check the code and price. Then customer service was a mess..had to double credit me because she put in another charge instead of credit..then find out that the customer service scale was different than cashier line..so I was overcharged on two accounts...not happy Wegmans...not at all.
Incredible array of fresh fruits, vegetables, meat, fish, poultry - much of it organic. Wonderful charcuterie, wide variety of prepared foods for a fast, healthy meal. Pharmacy on site, parking always available. Good floral department. Their own restaurant on site.
This is one of our favorite locations. We probably have dinner here more than we grocery shop. Huge footprint, but always clean and well organized. Worthy of repeat business and the Wegmans name

Ive been a long time customer of Wegmans, and as advertised; believe it is one of, if not the best grocery chains. In the country. However, I am not only able to give it a 4 star , rather than 5 star rating, due to the fact that each time I go ( which is frequently ) there are less and less name brand items and more am more Wegmans item. If I am looking for a specific brand, I usually need to go elsewhere. That... and a dedicated area for a ridiculous amount of yogurt; are the reason for the 4 stars!

I shop in several Wegmans. Good stores all. A big plus for an 83 year old is that there are clean bathrooms in every store. The Chili Wegmans has fresh flowers in theirs. I appreciate that.

Its very clean. Great place to shop. Just bring your GPS inside the store so you can get trough all the iles and find your items, the place is huge! You need a map to be able to navigate where everything is. 😁😂
I was having a really good day today and now its even better. I grabbed a sub and got my sisters some sushi, then we were off! The whole thing lasted less than 10 minutes, and I never had a hold up.

Love Wegmans! My family and I have been going to the Chili-Paul location for 15+ years. Unfortunantly, last time I was there (a day or two ago) I encountered a worker named Justine treat another employee who was presumably under her like absolute garbage. The attitude on Justine (I dont know her full name and dont want a good Justine to be blamed: this one was blonde, shorter, and a little large. No judgement on appearance, just a description,) was abysmal. I was under the impression Wegmans hired people who treated others with respect. Had I remembered to fill out a complaint card when I was there I would have. I still love the service of most of their employees and I love the products they sell, but if this is the attitude of the people they hire (and promote as she seemed to somehow be in a management position,) I have to question my loyalty to this company.Long review short: Wegmans is great, but this Justine girl, who acted more like a dictator than a manager, is awful and I would avoid her at all costs if you want a good experience at Wegmans.
The amount of Police/sheriff presence in the parking lot daily and in store is reason to no longer want to shop here. No longer feel safe if 2-3 cops are needed on a daily basis. Major turn off.

My favorite store. It gets busy but it seems more pleasant than other stores when they are also busy. The staff is polite, helpful, friendly, except some of the guys who clearly have worked there for a thousand years. The store has everything on your menu. Today Im picking up Skyline chili because they are the only stores that have it.
I purchased a 2lb vegetable lo mein in the deli department for $12..when i got home and put the lo mein in a baking dish to heat, the surface only had a skimpy amount of veggies but when i turned it over there was 2lbs of noodles only...i am sooooo disappointed in the lack of veggies...it was deplorable to pay that much for plain noodles...i called the store and no one answers to register a complaint...needless to say shame on you wegmans for scamming the public with your pathetic excuse for lo mein during these times...or any time for that matter...chili paul store
First, this is my Wegmans of choice; I could go to the Lyell Wegmans, but I like the Chili-Paul store better. The produce is fresher and less man-handled; the milk is kept colder so it stays fresh longer. The reason for the 2-star rating is their lack of handicapped accommodation. They have only two lanes that will comfortably accommodate wheelchairs (oh yes, the night manager tells you that most wheelchairs fit through, but thats only if someone else is pushing the person through; the aisles are very narrow!), and sometimes as early as 9:00 p.m., they close those two wider aisles. Now, the clerks will happily call management to get someone to wait on you in the wider aisle, but you have to ASK. Ive written to the manager twice, and both times Ive gotten a profuse apology and promise to correct the problem, but nothing has happened. I wrote a letter to the editor of the D&C, and for a couple months that corrected the problem. Now, were back to having to ASK someone to open the handicapped lane. When only one or two aisles are open overnight, please tell me WHY ONE OF THEM COULDNT BE THE HANDICAPPED-FRIENDLY LANE!?! Wegmans makes a lot of noise about being customer friendly, but evidently that doesnt extent to their handicapped patrons.
I love this pharmacy! The people that work here are so nice and helpful. The wait time for prescriptions is very short. I also love the option of using the drive thru.
This location is really buried down below Chili Ave. but a great store as always. Had to stop at the bank next door but couldnt resist checking out that Wegmans location. Very nice.

I go here all the time pretty good but sometimes they run out of stock and there cooler with adult beverages is kept way to warm and they also stopped selling the big bags of my dogs food purina one
As always the store was stocked clean and the employees were friendly. Cant say much for some of the customers. Especially the woman that was next to me at the corn bin in produce. She was yelling at one of the girls who work in the department. The poor employee couldnt get the woman to understand that she doesnt personally grow the corn. The corn was small in size because of weather problems. Maybe the customer should be thankful that there was corn to buy!

The flagship locations of this chain are as good as supermarkets get. This one is more of a 4.5*, not a 5, but they are on an positive trajectory so Ill curve up. Sushi was meh last visit. Real bagels nice specialties like burrata. Everything costs a little more than the cheapest places in town but not much more. Hope they continue expanding.
Everything in the store is clean and orderly, Wegmans Food markets has been in business in Rochester NY for 100 years. They stick to there motto, Everyday you get our best.

Been coming here almost my entire life. Place is one of a kind, a small gem on the side of Rochester. Although the one in Pittsford is legendary; this one is a slice of the old times. Free WiFi is always a winner and great for homework with friends at midnight. Wegmans is the best.

I currently live in North Carolina and was visiting family NY. I spent 2 hours shopping in Wegmans and it was worth every minute. Spotless, organized, multiple choices, knowledgeable staff.

This review is specifically for their sub shop. This sub shop has to be the worst in the company. I have had subs at Britton road, Mt read, Latta Rd, Ridgemont, and their Brockport locations and no one has messed up this bad and this consistently. I have had employees touch the garbage while making my sub, press my bread in the cutting board that is full of random toppings for no reason, I have had employees that couldnt separate the cheese slices so they just put shards and chunks on my sub, my latest visit they didnt even hit the weight they were supposed to for the meat. Its bad when you get less meat on your sub then they put on it at Subway. I have involved a manager every single time and the department consistently screws up. When I used to think of Wegmans subs, I used to think of a great sub packed with ingredients and flavor and now when we order it gives us a headache because we dont know if this is the time they are going to touch the garbage, skimp on the meat, etc. And can we talk about the meat for a minute. No one, and I mean no one wants shards of meat and left overs from the bin. Give us slices. Im tired of getting piles of shards that look like they sat at the bottom of the bin. For god sakes you have a deli there. My wife and I have resorted to making our own subs because they screw up more than nail it.
Entire store is neat. A few times Ive come for a few items that were not in stock, but overall staff friendliness/cleanliness/quality of food go above and beyond my expectations.

Often out of stock, though maybe sign of the times. Who knows anymore. Im loyal to our locals but Im looking forward to the day that Whole Foods opens.

2022-04-16Wegmans, Chili - thought wed try the fish fry last night figuring since it was Good Friday all of the local restaurants would be packed. Honestly the $15 small piece of haddock with the handle full of McDonalds French fries and the little cup of coleslaw was horrible. At most this was a $5 dollar meal not even worthy of being called a fish fry.

2018-06-15Excellent quality and selection of baked goods sold right in the store, as well as custom order cakes which are great quality. They have a lot of customization options, and youll always get Wegmans famous customer service with every order. They will usually try to accommodate special requests when possible too.

2022-04-03Terrible customer service. Ordered a cake and and found what looked like a hair on top. I called and the customer service desk was quite polite telling me to come back for a remade cake. So, after setting up the party, I head BACK to the store. The associate was professional, yet the bakery manager felt the need to argue that it was in fact not a hair but a “box filament”. She actually got in my face to confront me over this issue when she should have just apologized for the inconvenience that I was put through. Regardless of what was on the cake, it shouldn’t have been there. Disgusting service.

A large variety of cheeses. Fresh Seafood and meats. Pharmacy on site. Customer Service is very amendable and the wait time is short. Cake are delicious. Several mini concession stands to purchase ready to eat dishes. Sushi bar is very good and fresh. They recognize the different Holidays and sometimes the employees participate. Very child friendly. Public restrooms available.
