WellNow Urgent Care in other cities:
Excellent service. Check in easy. Provider excellent made my child comfortable with a scary laceration. And my child like the provider. My child remembered every ones name from reception to pct to the provider. And he was excited that the provider brought him to the treasure chest. He said mom this is a nice place.
I had heard nothing but good things about this place. I had an emergency Saturday night, 1/8/22. I went in just before 7:30pm. There was one lady in line in front of me and she was just gossiping with the receptionist. I wasn’t greeted or anything when I walked in. I waited about 15 minutes before I was even acknowledged. Finally she asked what I needed and I said I need to be seen. She had quite the attitude and asked if I had an appointment. I said no, I didn’t know I needed an appointment for urgent care. She said we are only taking patients that have appointments. All that time I waited for her to tell me I couldn’t be seen when she could’ve just simply asked me what I was there for when I first walked in. I ended up driving 35 minutes to Malta to be seen and they got me in immediately. Definitely won’t be going to well now again.
As always, we had excellent service from everyone at WellNow. We’ve visited this urgent care numerous times and always had a wonderful experience- staff is so friendly, nurses are so kind, Dr J is the best! Plus, they have a slushee machine…..so definitely come here for the best urgent care
We visited this urgent care for the first time yesterday. From being greeted at the door straight through until the time we left, this was the most pleasant urgent care experience to date. All the staff members were wonderful and understanding of my son’s needs. They made sure to get him in and out as efficiently as possible and understood that no 6yo wants to hang out in an exam room for very long. They took the time to explain what they were assessing and how certain tools worked which he loved learning about! The slush puppy machine at the end of our visit was a wonderfully unexpected bonus that really helped make my son’s sore throat more comfortable. Thank you! I hope we won’t have to come back for awhile but will be my first choice if we do!
I cannot attest to other locations, but Well Now in Glens Falls has never been anything less than excellent. I was recommended to go there when my kid was sent home from school not feeling great, and required the PCR covid test to return. Their regular pediatricians office offered the test but the lab took 4-5 days to return results. Thats a lot of missed school! At Well Now, they text you when the results are ready THE NEXT DAY.So to start, I went to Well Nows website and set up an urgent care visit. Its super easy to set up, and you can register online rather than at check in to get that out of the way. Every time Ive used this method (probably close to a dozen times since September, between the two kids) I have gotten an appointment for the same day.We have never had to wait to be seen upon arrival- not sure if its luck or what, but theyve always gotten us right into a room when we get there. No waiting in line, no sitting in the waiting room, just reception then exam room. The nurse pops in pretty quick, does the nurse stuff promptly and same for the doctor. There was one single time out of the many weve been that the doctor took more than 10 minutes to come in (and it was over an hour that time) but that was alright- they have satellite TV in each room. So if you dont have your phone to occupy you (but who doesnt have their phone with them now a days?) You can flip through the channels and find something to watch for a bit. We didnt mind the wait at all, thats how urgent care works: whomever needs to be seen more urgently goes first (and people really need to understand this!) and my kiddo wasnt really all that sick so we just chilled out. Aside from this one specific time (remember, thats out of nearly a dozen!) Weve been in and out of there in about 45 minutes each visit. The office itself is always clean, you dont get that gross ewww germs feeling at all. Theyre all really friendly too. The waiting room has a coffee station and slush puppy station for the kids- which is a nice bonus! I also saw reception give a sick toddler a stuffed animal while they were checking in, and found out they do that for all the little ones, and to me this shows just how incredibly compassionate the place and employees are. Its really an all-around wonderful experience, which is great because when youre there youre probably at your worst, being sick or having to bring your sick kiddo, and they just make the experience so much more comfortable.Id love for them to open one closer to me. Sure, I could go to the other health center thats two minutes away, but Id much rather drive the 30 minutes to Well Now, theyre that much better.
Went yesterday feeling horrible. Have had ear aches and sinus pressure for a week. Wasn’t going away so I went to the doctors. All they cared about is testing for covid. Results came back negative. I called today to see about getting medicine called in for a sinus infection. Lady says oh you need to be seen again. Nothing changed from yesterday. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
Took my 4 year old daughter in with a tick bite. The staff was great from front desk, to the nurse who helped us, to our PA. Everyone was very kind and answered all my questions concerning the tick and Lyme concerns. Will definitely return to this center for any future urgent care needs.
The ladies at the desk were the absolute best and its the first doctor office Ive ever been to that has a PacMan Arcade game and 2 slush puppy machines in the waiting area to make it that much easier for kiddos to deal with. As a parent I will always take my kids to where I know theyre first priority. St Peters Health Partners for the win yet again!!! Thank you for taking care of me and my family!!!
I did a telehealth visit w WellNow over July 4 weekend. Tested positive for covid, have asthma and a few other risk factors. My MDs from home state could not help me but WellNow was quick easy and also followed back up with me to ensure I was feeling better. Great experience!
I arrived here with my very active 2 little girls, I think we were the very last appointment of the day. The staff was amazing. They interacted with my children, were very cheerful, helped me understand a few things, and never made us feel rushed(I believe as we were the last appointment of the day, they were closing after we left). Very welcoming place.
Create service by the staff! The online check in was especially efficient. Upon arrival, the nurse Marisa was very prompt and comforting and clearly explained what the examination process would involve. She took her time and was a calming factor to an emergency visit. The PA then arrived shortly afterwards and was very good at explaining his dx and recommended therapy.
I was pleased to receive my RT-PCR test results on the same day less than 14 hours from 8:15 AM. No appointment was required, I just walked right in and was able to be tested after only a 10 minute wait for insurance processing. The staff was helpful and friendly. The only reason why I cannot give five stars is because they spelled my name incorrectly on the laboratory paperwork and on my sample vial which I caught before driving away. If I had not caught the error It is doubtful that the results would have been useable for any legal reason such as travel.
Wife went to urgent care near home to be seen, diabetic with foot infection. Walk-in visit.Staff set her up with nurse, who assessed issue and reported to PA. After x-ray to rule out a foreign body, PA opened sore to drain, apply medicine and bandage.Entire process very professional and efficient, prescription sent right away.Instructions on home care clear and precise, and warning signs noted.Staff helped with wheelchair from car to front desk, and on way out.
I visited WellNow Urgent Care for the first time yesterday and I was very impressed! They were well-staffed & friendly, and the service was speedy and professional. My wife and I were worried about a several-hour visit, like many trips to urgent care, but that didnt happen. They did the intake and I was immediately taken to an exam room. The tech came next and did my vitals. I only waited a couple of minutes for the provider. She was thorough and knowledgeable and suggested several treatment plan options. We were pleasantly surprised and extremely satisfied!
Worst experience ever. Been here three times in the past month due to sickness and they do not help. Looked at me and told me I didn’t seem sick. Was never swabbed for any illness after being sick for three weeks and was told I was fine. The nurse who took my vitals barely had the blood pressure cuff velcroed on my arm, not sure how she even got a reading if it wasn’t even on correctly. I expressed to the doctor I was in severe pain and she said “it doesn’t look like it”. And told me I could go home. No antibiotics, no medicine, nothing. I was told if I get any worse they “guess” I could come back and they would look at me again. Wasted over 150$ in copays here to sit on a bed and be told I don’t look sick and be sent home every time. Don’t waste your time here, go see real doctors who will treat you.
Im 36 years old and have had my fair share of hospital visits and wellness is the best experience Ive ever had I was seen within 10min and was getting x rays done in less than 30 min I was treated for a foot injury and treated with absolute care and respect. Ive never submitted a reference for anywhere but I feel as if I owe it to the wonderful people who treated me. Thank you so much
Worst place to go if you’re sick. My husband went in for a chest pain and all they did was check his blood pressure and heartbeat, then called an ambulance to send him to the hospital without doing an EKG or any other test. The guys who came with the ambulance wondered why they didn’t do an EKG before calling them. When we were about to leave to go to the hospital, she said they’ll have to do an EKG, I was like what’s the point doing it now when he has to go to the hospital and do one anyway. None of them seemed to know anything and they made me feel like they were in a rush to get us out since it was a bit close to the closing time. They should just close down that place since the people who work there are just useless
I saw all the positive reviews for this place and feel I must warn people: This is the worst medical office I have ever been in. Not only did they overcharge me for services up front but the PA (Jeremiah) was the rudest and must unprofessional provider I’ve ever had the intense displeasure of meeting, and I was a registered nurse for 16 years. I’ve met plenty of unpleasant providers in my time but this one was the absolute worst of them all. Not only did he burst into the room and tell me I was going to die soon from high blood pressure (and here I still am btw) but when I asked if I should then have a note to not work until I took care of the problem, he accused me of trying to “get out of working” fraudulently. He had literally just been on a tirade about how I was going to die. On the way out, he even called me a vulgar name. I complained to this company and never received even a call back. I ENCOURAGE EVERYONE TO AVOID THIS PLACE ENTIRELY. I was only there for a return to work note after an illness and this was how I was treated..
A little bit of a wait is no problem for the service received here as they are busy! Very polite, very helpful and worth it! 1/06/22 HAHAHAH PSYCH. The whole staff informs you improperly of covid related quarantining I have paper proof🤷🏽♂️. Would not go here it’s a good thing I called or I could potentially have spread covid today if my test came back positive. Supposed to be a 72 hour quarantine and they gave me a paper saying 24-48. And yes I fell asleep in the chair waiting for service.Sounds like malpractice to me.
This place is phenomenal!! They provided such amazing, compassionate, and wonderful care to my 1 year old. Their attention to detail, accommodating nature and kind demeanor toward my little one was so greatly appreciated! If I could give 10 stars I would. Brand new facility, clean, and well maintained. Highly recommended!
Never would I have thought I’d love my experience at an urgent care, but I absolutely did at this location! Right from the check in with the receptionist we seamlessly got on their waiting list and were being seen within 20 minutes after an hour and a half predicted wait time! The nurse and PA, Gale and Jessica, were incredible and were so patient, kind, and gentle with a delicate situation! I was there for almost four hours with them treating me as gently as possible and they turned a very painful experience into as positive as it could be! I felt very comfortable with them and they answered any and all questions I had! You could tell they really cared about what they were doing and how I was feeling. If I ever need an urgent care again I will absolutely with no hesitation return here!
The nurses and dr and office visit was wonderful ,got us in super fast and everyone was so pleasant! And my daughter felt very special! She wasn’t nervous at all! BUT had a huge problem w not getting my test results back from the covid test,we needed the results so my kindergartener could get back to school, pur appt was Thursday like 9 am,never got results, finally had to make several calls on Sunday all day! we never got a text at all w the results and i called the office sereral times trying to get the paperwork, and everytime they said thed send me a email which id wait for and never happened, finally got a email back lat at night . finally told me the results ,she was negative but still beed a email for the school!!!! ,tried to set up a patient prortal and the site kept sending me back to reset a password and give a new email,so now i have to drive from stony Creek to the glensfalls office to get a paper copy for the school,so my daughter can go to school late! She has been out since Wednesday w a head cold and now to be late unnecessarily is very frustrating! Its a shame
I have been here multiple times. My first few experiences were exceptional. Kind, correct diagnosis and treatment plan, and speedy. My last two have been questionable. A family member came in to be tested for covid and was treated rudely. I was not there to witness this but the overall is that a sick person was made to feel wrong about coming in which led to a disagreement. It was resolved with a phone call from me and an apology from my family member. An apology was not reciprocated from the WellNow employee. My most recent visit was overall good (kind and speedy) except I was given a treatment plan for MRSA Staph when I had ringworm. The reason I chose to post a review is for accountability. I have no issues with the practice or the people and will continue using this facility, I just don’t want others being instructed to ingest an antibiotic treatment regiment for a fungal skin infection. This is not a bad review. It’s just an honest account of some experiences both really good and also areas that could use some attention or improvement. I am not one to criticize anyone who is serving me and this is not negative criticism it’s constructive. Thank you all for being healthcare workers and all the good you bring to this world. I hope three stars is not destructive to your business. It is an honest assessment. When I return, I will write an additional review. Thanks again.
My husband and I had been trying for 4 days to get a PCR appointment after being exposed to covid. We were finally able to get an appointment at the Saratoga location. Well it had turned out the Saratoga location had been closed. We called Gloversville and were told we had to wait over an hour and go through the walk-ins. When we called Glens Falls Heather had honoured our appointment time and we could not be more appreciative of her. We definitely appreciate all of the hard work all nurses, doctors and staff are putting in during the pandemic to keep everyone safe and healthy.
Dont understand how this can be labeled an urgent care when they stop accepting walk ins at 7 PM? Would not recommend. Nobody in waiting room, even if the rooms are full there was still an hour before the posted closing time. If walkins are only at a specific time - then post on your door and on your website and remove the words urgent care.
I was very happy with this experience John one of the nurses helped a great deal as it was my first time ever getting tested he walked me through the entire process. The front desk were also wonderful. They got me in quickly the wait wasnt long and I got my results at a decent time. Thank you to all very much appreciated
I have been here twice, once with my son for a Covid test, and then this weekend with my daughter who was just sick. The PA that we saw just seemed super rushed, other than that I guess it was fine. I do feel as though the quality of care at other urgent care centers is better and more thorough, even if the wait is longer. Also, I would like to note, getting the Covid test results from the patient portal was an absolute nightmare and it didnt work for me at all
I brought my son there for a corneal abrasion. He got a paper cut on his eye at work in a mill. Staff in the front were polite and got us into a room quickly. The nurse was very friendly. The PA (Jeremiah) had an attitude problem. He seemed irritated that we were there. He was rude and just seemed like he wanted to get us out of there fast. My son is in pain, his eye is very sensitive to the light and his vision is blurry. He works on dangerous machines at work. And Jeremiah refused to give him a note to be out of work for the night because it’s a workers comp case. He told us that they don’t like to pull people out of work when it’s a workers comp case. Why should that factor into the decision of whether or not to take someone out of work for one day? I feel like his job is to take care of the patient and whoever is paying the bill shouldn’t enter into his decision making
I have brought both my daughters to WellNow Urgent Care for 2 completely different reasons over the past 4 months. I have to say the staff is wonderful and so welcoming. From the front desk staff to the nurses and PAs, I can’t express how happy our experience was both times. Everyone goes above and beyond to make my children feel comfortable and we love it there! The slush puppies are a hit with my kiddos as well! :)
We were afternoon walk-ins due to needing a PCR for school. From the front desk to the nurse to the doctor, everyone we encountered was friendly, kind, and helpful. Plus, hello, slushy machine! These guys were amazing. I know they were busy but they still treated my daughter like they cared and she mattered. Thank you!!!
The staff was excellent. They went far beyond what was expected to ensure my covid test results were ready. It only took 24 hrs for test and results for me.The other 5 family members had there results backin 12 hrs. We all needed the results by today for our cruise tomorrow. Super happy campers. Great job !
Brought my son in for a Covid test. They took the swab and told us we had to see a physician so we waited about 45 minutes then had to leave had to be at another appointment. They kept telling us the doctor would be right in. Then we told them we had to leave. They told us theyll have to throw out the cover test that they just took because we didnt see a physician. And we just started going there a few months ago we were liking it until now. So I guess well go back to our original place
I was feeling absolutely horrible.I went knowing I had to have a COVID test. The front desk staff was so friendly. No waiting time I was brought to a room. Soon a nurse came in, did my test, and took it upon herself to do strep test. The PA came talked to me, explained everything. This office was AMAZING! I was not rushed, I felt like they cared about the patient. I recommend them to anyone that needs Urgent care.
The staff was very caring and generous! They welcomed me and my daughter with great services! The front desk girls were phenomenal with getting me right in and even helping me with my 2 year old by keeping her entertained well I had labs done. The PA I saw was phenomenal and very determined to get to the bottom of what was going on with my health. I felt very comfortable with the staff and very cared for! Thank you 😊
I had chest pains and my blood pressure was sky high from stress. I waited in the GFH ER for 4.5 hrs! They did an EKG and took my blood pressure and told me my blood pressure was 180/80 but my EKG was normal so I was going to have to wait without any estimated time because they were super busy! So I left and went to WellNow and they took me in right away with no appt. what a great place! Staff was super friendly and the PA was great! They took good care of me! Thank you!
Great service and super friendly. Step son is out for the summer and he had a small accident. Ended up with stitches at the ER. It was time to have them removed and not living here we had no primary so we came here. They were amazing and gentle with him as he was obviously terrified never having stitches before. Would absolutely recommend, the slushy machine in the waiting room definitely won him over .
I went in yesterday for an inflamed rib that I needed clarification on to ease some concerns, my pcp is scheduled out for the next month. I scheduled online same day and the staff was super helpful and welcoming, I had a male physician which usually would’ve been awkward for a chest exam but I felt very comfortable. He had me take an X-ray and prescribed Rx strength ibuprofen to help the swelling. All in all it took about 45 minutes, which is super quick for an examination and X-ray! It’s already gone down a bit but I feel so much better knowing what it was 😁
While on vacation in Lake George, I fell down some stairs and hurt my foot. In the morning we wanted to see if it was broken, it wasn’t thank goodness, so we went to Well Now urgent care in Glenn Falls. We made an appointment and checked in online, which was quick and easy. Once we got there the staff was friendly and helpful. The facility was clean and everything was completed in a timely manner. We were happy with the experience.
Thank you to the staff of Glens Falls. You took such great care of my son. Christa thank you for your patience with him. And then checking up on him last night and again this morning. As always great experience. Thank you Rachael, mckayla, mindi, Jess and marissa. Especially mindi going in and out numerous times for rechecked vitals and performing his swabs.
Very clean, professional and friendly staff. The fastest urgent care, but thorough at that! I would choose Wellnow over any other urgent care. Hudson headwaters was a 3 hour wait, I came to Wellnow and was in and out in about 25 minutes! Amazing place, excellent staff and exceptional care!
Had a wonderful experience. Had to get a few things done with very little time for my travel job . Was able to get right in and tests done without any problem in a timely manner. Staff was great. I developed dry socket and Dr. Condry was more than accommodating for my packing and changes, even took time on his weekend to make a packing change when I was in pain. Would definitely reccomend their service.
I stopped in without an appointment and was greeted warmly by a nice young man in the outer staff room. After taking my information, answering all my questions, he escorted me to an exam room where I was met by another very competent young woman who took my vitals , went over my meds, answered my questions and explained the procedure for a Covid test which she did painlessly. When she left she told me that a physician’s assistant would be inshortly. The P.A. was right behind her. He asked me some more questions, we had a good conversation about my concerns, and I was released with both verbal and written instructions. All this may seem routine, but I was very impressed with the friendliness and caring I received. Kudos to all members of the team I had the pleasure of seeing. They are doing a fine job st the WellNow Urgent Care Center in Queensbury NY.
I went into urgent care. I signed in at front desk. Immediately escorted to a room. Nurse came in for vitals. P.A. came in example my injury. Asked questions and informed me that he would like me to have x-rays. Someone came to get me for x-rays and returned me to room after they were taken. P.A. came back in to inform me that I sprained my back and let me know what to do. He gave me 2 prescriptions to take and explained what to expect. Then I was on my way. Everyone was very friendly and helpful.
First time using any Well Now. Went to the one in Glens Falls on a Saturday afternoon without n appointment. Very clean, organized, nicely furnished. The waiting room has a Keurig and a slushee maker!!Staff very helpful, kind and thorough. Was taken into exam room immediately. Had some long waits but I expected that. From entering to leaving, including Covid test ( results in 24 hours), exam, chest x-Ray, and all my questions answered and prescriptions with directions for doses both verbal and written, a little under 2 hours.
Travelled from Canada and stopped for Covid PCR testing. I had my flight after 2 days of the test and they mentioned results will come out in 24 hours or max 36 hours. Even though on the document of instructions it’s written to get the results within 24 hours.I honestly got so disappointed with the customer service I received especially in the health care centre. After 24 hours of testing, I called for the assistance and they asked to wait for 36 hours. I was ok and then yesterday around closing time I called again and the lady was WOW. She rudely said your results are not in yet wait for tomorrow and she just hung up on me.I had my flight this morning and I know how badly the situation was when you are on airport and travelling across the border without the PCR results. Called again this morning for the results but Neither I received Verification code nor an email prior and had to ask them to send the results.
Couldn’t sleep cause was not feeling well. So went online at 1:15am & got appt for 9am the very next morning! They sent me text reminder to allow 30 minutes travel times! So I did - got there & their text said you t checked in . Come in!Everyone very professional patient, thorough- was brought to examining room. They answered my questions gave diagnosis & recommendations . If I not felt better in 2 days to return! I’m sold!
This was the best urgent care experience Ive ever had. The reception people were great, I checked in online. The nurse was fabulous. The x-ray tech wonderful. The doctor knew what was wrong immediately. And she took the time to explain. She didnt throw pain pills ans say rest. She actually gave me medication that took care of the problem. Then there was the cold water and snacks. I was in and out in less than an hour but I asked if I could live there. It was that good.
This place is more child friendly than the pediatrics center that we go to. The receptionist let each child have a toy and offered them free slush puppies. In the patient room, there was a TV with a kids movie playing. Everyone was very friendly. They accept Fidelis and see all ages. I went for a PCR and got my results the next day. If my kids need PCRS again, Im coming here!
We are away for a softball tournament and my daughter broke her foot. They were wonderfully pleasant, no time wasted, and took care of her quick. They set her up, and allowed us back to tweak her foot set up, and her particular issue made her so much more comfortable. Every staff member was so kind.
It was a great experience from the moment I walked in. All the staff from the front office to the PA along with the X-ray experience was awesome.I am an RN and always aware of my surroundings and good quality professional care . Thank you all for your excellent service in our community !
This urgent care center is excellent for covid testing and fast results, usually within 24 hours. For pediatric issues, not so great.I’ve edited my review down to 3 stars because of an experience I had with my 12 year old daughter.I brought my daughter in for a swollen right knee, no other symptoms and she had no injury. They only did an X-ray and diagnosed her with a right knee effusion, which is very non specific. I suspected Lyme disease and told this to the provider, PA Jeremiah. I asked for blood work, they don’t do blood work because they can’t follow up. As a health care provider, that response seems ridiculous. He told me that usually there are other symptoms with Lyme, which is not true!! Some kids only present with a single swollen joint with late Lyme disease.I brought her to the local ER two days later because the swelling didn’t improve and they admitted her to rule out an infected joint, which is a medical emergency!Turns out I was right. She has late Lyme arthritis. For an area where Lyme is very common, I feel the PA at this urgent care center really dropped the ball with my kid.I owe the facility $140, on top of all my kids’ other medical bills related to her hospital admission. Big waste of time and money!!!The peds doctor in the hospital told me to just skip urgent care and come to the ER. Urgent care providers don’t necessarily know how to treat peds patients. If you need covid testing this place is great. If you have a child and want the best care, you should probably find a pediatrician in the area who will see you or just go to the local ER
Had a great experience for my recent visit to the Glens Falls Wellnow. Right from the check in where Mindi & McKenzie made my check in go smooth & quick, I was immediately put into a room & greeted by Gail who was very friendly & professional. Shortly after that, Christa the PA came in to do her exam & she immediately put us at ease. She was very professional & made our visit go seamlessly! Highly recommend this urgent care! All the staff was great & greeted us with smiles & made us feel at ease! Well done to the staff at the Glens Falls Wellnow!!
They were amazing. We got in almost immediately. They were so nice to my 11 month old gave him a teddy bear and a little shark. They were able to diagnose him quickly and even gave him his first dose of medicine he needed. Thank you for making our visit so enjoyable. Do NOT change your staff!!
This was the cleanest friendliest thorough urgent care Ive ever been at. Ive only been to hhhn so it really amazed me in the difference of a top notch health facility that made you feel more as a patient then your own health care center.I have to mention Shelly who went out of her way to work with me as my bf was up the rd at urgent care on broad street in glensfalls on a 3 hour wait!! I was in and out but again they checked everything. Highly recommend
I developed a high fever yesterday and my friend found this appointment for my on the internet. It was so easy to get all registered online, including scanning your insurance cards. From the front desk to the nurse to the PA was absolutely concern and kindness. Just what we all want with a Doctors office. I’d recommend WellNow Urgent care to everyone. They treat you like a human and it was so pleasant. Now waiting on my COVID test. Such a pleasant experience when I was so very sick.
I was in awful pain. So I thought I would try this new place in our area. The place was sparking clean. I got almost instant care by a caring staff + an exray to confirm the problem. Everyone was very professional in the store and duties. I got the diagnosis and medication was called into my pharmacy, and it was ready when I got there. I will definitely go to them again for their professional advice. That was yesterday and Im on the mend today already and the visit was less than 30 minutes..
Thank goodness that this urgent care recently opened in Glens Falls because the other ones close at 7:00 PM! I got acutely sick at about 8:00 PM. I didn’t think it warranted a trip to the ER, just to wait around for hours. So, I went to this urgent care where the nurses, administrative assistants, and PA took good care of me. The PA was concerned that I could have kidney failure so he sent me to the ER. He called ahead with all my information, so I didn’t have to wait once I arrived. I definitely made the right decision to go to this urgent care. Thank you.
Unprofessional and completely disorganized. Booked ahead online and was given an oddly specific appointment time of 2:14pm. Website said wed receive a text twenty minutes prior. We did not get any such text but went anyway, arriving nearly ten minutes early. A woman met us at the door, heading us off, obviously flustered. She immediately told us they were running substantially behind and seemed to be implying we should go away, just short of telling us they were canceling our appointment and denying us treatment. The woman asked if we were the ones with a Vermont area code. (Its a cell phone.) She said someone had called and said theyd gotten an email or text confirming an appointment they hadnt made. For some unknown reason they thought it may have been us and theyd attempted to call us she said. Did we show a missed call on our phone? No, we did not. So the woman kept telling us our appointment had been changed to 2:20 (just six minutes later than our original appointment time) and we were way early, even though we had no way of knowing this and medical offices ALWAYS tell you to arrive early anyway. She said wed have to wait in our car and at 2:20 theyd reevaluate the situation and let us know when our new appointment time would be changed to. This was obviously unacceptable, as requiring potentially seriously ill patients to wait in the cold just to be told how much longer theyll have to wait has to violate some sort of state and federal laws regarding hands-on care once a patient arrives for their scheduled appointment. We Googled another place and drove there instead where we were seen and treated promptly. Nobody from WellCare ever called us back concerning our appointment. Unprofessional is an understatement. I dont think these people are qualified to change a bedpan, let alone tend to the sick.
Very pleased, truly caring staff. I brought my child for a test, but the PA and a nurse patiently explained how in our circumstances, the test would not be beneficial. This saved my child an uncomfortable procedure. In the end the visit was cancelled and we were not charged. If need arises, I would come again due to the care and knowledge of the staff.
Visit was fast and easy. I love that I could complete my paperwork on my phone so all I had to do when I got there was give 1 signature, have my appointment and leave. I was in and out in 20 minutes. Each person I spoke with was professional and friendly. The facility was clean and organized.
My loved one has Lewy Body Dementia. The staff were excellent accommodating her special needs such as clear, simple communication and soothing her anxiety while they cut a ring off of her finger. It took three cuts to finally remove the ring from the swollen finger. They let me stay with her, followed all covid protocols and were super kind. We were there only a few minutes. Excellent. Highly recommend.
The minute I walked in, I was greeted promptly with a smile and taken right back to a room to be looked at. The staff was amazing and so very caring. I was in and out in a hour and so impressed with the whole operation that I highly recommend their services in every way, shape and form. Thank you WellNow!
The woman at the desk for check in were friendly, it was fairly quick process with being able to book apts online and wait in your car until ready. However be prepared to wait because you will be taken in much later than your “apt time” then you’ll be placed in a room and left for over an hour meanwhile you can hear the entire staff talking about who’s in what room and what all their health conditions are, you would think the medical staff wouldnt be discussing patients in a open area for everyone to hear. The PA I met with was incredible rude and had a horrible attitude... you would also think an employee in health care would be wearing their mask over their nose but I guess this facility doesn’t care about covid regulations because I saw other staff members gathered together at the desk once you’re taken in the back towards the patient rooms not even wearing masks. I wouldn’t recommend anyone going here unless maybe you’re desperate for a covid test. I personally wouldn’t go here again after seeing staff members at a health care facility not following covid guidelines makes you wonder what other regulations they don’t follow.
I woke up, booked a rapid Covid test and arrived at 7:30 a.m. on a Sunday. I was treated to a full doctor’s appointment. My throat was sore, they performed a strep test too. The staff was very kind and any negative rapid Covid tests are sent out to a lab for further testing. This was a great first experience!
I made an online appointment for a COVID test. Reception desk employees were pleasant, funny and up beat; not an easy task under these trying circumstances. I was taken in immediately, tested with 10 minutes and seen by a PA within a short period of time. The entire process took less than an hour. Very glad they have an office near me.
Our wait time was minimal. The staff was friendly, cortious, and extremely helpful. The staff was professional and had a great sense of humor, which I needed at that time! Thank YOU!The rooms are large, clean and comfortable! It did not take us long to be seen and to be back out the door.
Just forget the fact that they have a Slush Puppie machine in the lobby - lol!The staff at this place were second to none. They listened intently to my issues and helped find a solution. And big props to Jeremiah Edington, PA, for easing my mind and answering my questions! I will be recommending this Urgent Care facility to people for sure!
From the minute we walked in to the minute we walked -everyone that worked there was kind-attentive-friendly-hardworking and made you feel at ease. They are all true hardworking people who definitely care about each of their patients. Excellent care and even though it was busy.. there wasn’t anything anyone could have done better! Thank you all!
6/14/2021 6:00 P.M. My husband and I had an exceptional, professional and most positive, caring experience with the New wellnow urgent care. From the moment I walked in to speak to several very kind professional young lady answered every question I asked , when I explained the situation my husband’s distain for Doctors in general and the fact he needed a Doctor ASAP his B/P was HIGH . We just moved so that made lt more stressful the professional nurse calmed me down as I waited for my husband. I do apologize for not addressing each of u by name . My husband arrived 6:15 we when he walked in the nurse immediately took him back offered if I wanted to join him , he agreed omg the office impeccably Clean, rooms were spotless with calming waterfall which helped my husband immensely.TheNurse was absolutely WONDERFUL we do apologize for not remembering ur name , tried for several days to find it ,I am sure she remembers David . When Jeremiah Edington, PA came into the room he was professional, precise, to the point. All we can say is this experience wasThe VERY Positive. We are grateful, and thankful. Anyone who needs immediate care and live in Glens falls ,Please go to Wellnow Urgent care . thank you wonderful staff and Jeremiah. David & Elizabeth
My daughter broke her wrist skiing and we went to WellNow right from the mountain. We received fast service and all the staff were very friendly and provided excellent service. The place is brand new and immaculate. We hope to never have to go to urgent care again while on vacation but if we do, we would definitely come back to WellNow. Thank you to all the staff at WellNow Glens Falls!
I visited the Glens falls ny location tonight with my 1.5 year old daughter. I couldn’t be happier with the way they treated her! She gets a little scared at the doctor and cries every time I bring her. I brought her in to get a rash on her tummy checked out. The receptionists one male and one female were so welcoming from the moment we walked in, interacting with her and reassuring her. The male receptionist offered her a little teddy bear with a wellnow t shirt on and let my daughter choose which bear she wanted which she was just thrilled by lol once in the exam room, the nurse, Korina, and the PA, unfortunately don’t remember her name , were both wonderful and patient with her. One of the nurses even brought in a toy giraffe for her to play with while we waited. The PA came in and was very gentle waiting until my daughter was comfortable with her looking at the rash. They got us in and out and they are all such kind people! Made an otherwise stressful trip to the doctor a pleasant experience ❤️
Quick visit but good things I read thr active ingredient i was perscribed twice. Told the nurse what I was allergic to. After talking to the pa she told mey options for what I could get. I was told to get the exact active ingredient i was allergic too. My pharmacy was right next door so I brought the perscription and paper from the WellNow. They assured me the new prescription doesnt have my allergy in it. After speaking to the pharmacist they assured me my second prescription also has my allergy in it. If I wasnt active in what I put in my body enough I would have trusted this facility and went into anaphylaxis. Would not recommend, go to somewhere that takes their time and trains their nurses better.
Dont trust a place that has a slushie machine in their lobby. This place was a joke. Lovely service but lousy medical advice. They just ended up telling me to go get a second opinion in the ER. If you have to make the choice, just go to the ER and skip the nonsense here.
Great place to get the COVID test. You can use the preregistration online which is quick and simple. You select a time so when you arrive all you do is text HERE and when they are ready for you they will text back to go in. Great people that work there and they performed the test quickly. My wife went there and told me about. Best thing ever!!
The staff was very friendly. Testing was easy and quick after all the questions were answered. The nurse that explained quarantine procedures was very thorough and could answer all of our questions about covid. First explanations that sounded true and real. So much confusion out in the world right now.
Went for a COVID test and was told they would be able to give me a drs note, however a couple days later when I asked they said I couldnt. They also use mybostonheart.com for test results and the website restricts access if you sign in 3 times before they provide you with your results.

2022-05-16As far as urgent care goes they are pretty decent. The staff is always friendly. Marisa was our nurse this go around and she made my 11 year old daughter feel perfectly comfortable! She was very easy to talk to.There was a bit of a wait this last visit but that isnt typically customary for this urgent care. Usually they work pretty quickly.

2022-04-05Generally we have an excellent visit from the time we check in until the time we leave. Today, that was not the case. I walked in and was immediately turned away and told they no longer except walks ins. I am frustrated, because isn’t an urgent care supposed to accept all patients? I understand the lack of providers, but it shouldn’t be an urgent care if you don’t have the staff to properly run one.Thankfully I walked back in and one of the nurses and the other receptionist, Rachel kindly welcomed us in and made it work for us so we were able to get in and be seen. She was beyond kind and caring and did NOT send us away. I truly appreciate her and the nurse providing us with the respect and decency all people deserve. The other receptionist laughed and put her head down and just told us that we can’t be seen at all without an appointment, did not bother checking for an appointment or assisting us in any way. Definitely not professional. This was my go to urgent care because of the staff, but we won’t be coming here anymore unfortunately. I don’t think a lot of people will now that it’s no longer walk/in friendly.

2022-06-29I’ve had two really excellent experiences with them. I highly recommend registering ahead online; it removed a lot of anxious waiting. The front desk people make you stand there awkwardly while they go through all your information but, after that, it’s a clean, cheerful facility with helpful, fast, and friendly medical professionals. Their existence genuinely helps me feel safer in the area knowing there is a comfortable option between our GP and the hospital.

2022-07-03Doctors and others here are wonderful and helpful. However, the billing department is a nightmare and it is impossible to get anything resolved. Prepare for mystery charges, charges for services not administered during a visit, and even charges for things like being a new patient. New patient charge at an urgent care is 200$? Seriously? Oh, and insurance wont cover that. Want to talk to someone about it? Forget it. Called a half a dozen times, once someone picked up and transferred me to hold. One or twice I somehow was transferred to a voice mailbox. The rest of the times I was just on indefinite hold and gave up after 20,40,60 minutes. Send an email? Sure, youll get a response in 306 weeks (Serious!). I would avoid this place at all costs.

2022-04-20I have been to the same location in Glens Falls 2 within 2 days for my daughter and myself, and I couldnt be happier with the staff and service. The facility is clean, and they sanitize each room between patients. I highly recommend making an appointment online though, because if you just show up, you risk waiting up to an hour to be seen due to the rise in flu cases going around right now. Making an appointment online is easy. I was in and out for both of my visits in less than 45 minutes. Added bonus: they have a free slushie machine in lobby for the kiddos who deserve them, and a nice coffee bar.

2022-05-20This urgent care is amazing. Especially PA Jeremiah. Super efficient and knowledgeable. People leaving bad reviews about staffing shortages or wait times are ridiculous. Do you realize how busy they are? EVERY FACILITY IS SHORT STAFFED. If you think WellNow is a long wait, go to GFH and rethink your negative reviews. They are doing their very best and as a nurse myself, I feel they are triaging well and doing a fantastic job. Thank you for my diagnosis yesterday.

2022-03-21Went in with a nasty cold as a new patient. Less than 10 min at the desk and I was in a room. Waited maybe 5 minutes and a friendly and responsive nurse came in. After a few minutes with her, I saw a doctor and got my diagnosis (viral infection). Prompt friendly service. Amazing first experience. Definitely would recommend to anyone.

2021-12-20Everyone was very pleasant, the reception people, the nurse and the provider. They got me into a room quickly so there was no waiting in a room full of sick people. They listened carefully to my concerns and addressed them well. There was a bit of a wait for the provider after the nurse, but not bad for a Sunday evening.

2022-06-26I went in to the office with a poison oak rash and my provider, Christa, was amazing. She instantly set the plan to help me feel better and talked me through what to expect throughout the process. It really helped ease the anxieties I have when going to the doctors in general. I did not have to wait long to be seen either and was in and out quickly!
