WellNow Urgent Care in other cities:
Over a week ago my wife was bitten by a dog while running. We arrived to wellnow, filled out the forms, and waited somewhat patiently for the nurse/physician to treat her. She received treatment and we left. Unfortunately, the staff did not submit the paperwork to the department of health so they could contact the owner and follow up for rabies screening. We found out today, just by chance as she called to check in with the DOH that wellnow never sent the paperwork to them to begin the screening which is supposed to happen within 72 hours. After receiving a completely apathetic explanation of we dont know why it wasnt send in, and a: we can send it in now... were extremely dissatisfied with the follow through of this critical step to ensure she doesnt have rabies. I wouldnt trust them to do anything proper after this and you shouldnt either.Update: We just received a bill as well.
The team at this Wellnow are outstanding. From the minute you walk in, the level of service and professionalism is excellent.I have used this location recently for the PCR testing for my job and have never had to wait. Make the appointment at midnight online and show up 15 minutes early they take you right back.Keep in mind that I drive past several Wellnow locations on my way to this location just due to the way I am treated here.Keep up the great work placing patients first.
If I could rate my experience they wouldn’t even get a star! Took my 2 year old in because I couldn’t get him into his primary. They told me it was gonna be a 20 minute wait and let’s say they finally called me three hours later telling me a room was available. I would have been sitting in the car with my son for just about 3 hours before he was even seen. Very disappointed and will not be making this place a second option to go to ever again. To not even call and inform me how long my wait was gonna be is absolutely disrespectful!
I have always had great service at Well Now in Fairmount. I like that you can register on-line and that it decreases amount of time you are inside. People have been friendly and courteous and empathetic all 3 times I’ve gone for Covid-testing. I highly recommend their service.
Erica Feola PA automatically decided before even asking my boyfriend questions about what was wrong that he was either covid positive or had a GI bug. She was not the least bit concerned that he hadnt eaten or drank anything in days. He has a fever, and dehydrated she had no concern at all. Im very displeased with the care he received as they rushed us out as soon as we got there so they could go home. We were there for all of 15mins and most of that time was waiting for her to come see him.
Lovely staff However we were unable to get test results online no tech support available. Called and the virtual assistant transferred me and the phone rang for 23 minutes and so gave up and called back I’m now at 10 minutes and I’m ready to put a fork in my eye, Does anyone understand customer service? How about another provider calling for test results. If this company is billing your insurance don’t they have an obligation to have someone available to answer a telephone and help you?I will now drive 20 minutes and try to get results from another site. My only hope is someone who runs this company can enjoy the same experience that I have.
This was my first visit to the clinic. The place is very clean and observed all COVID19 safety precautions. The receptionist Rena (I hope the spelling is right) was great! A beautiful and dedicated person. It was a pleasure to talk to her. I highly recommend WellNow Urgent Care!
Amazing experience! Registering and checking in online was super efficient! The process couldnt have gone any faster and smoother. The way the process is designed is also safer for everyone even though this clinic is for asymptomatic testing. I will recommend this site to everyone I know…
Very disappointed with my last visit , have gone there with myself and kids for numerous without issue. I needed a Covid test for my older daughter and had prior success there with my younger child. Today I walk in and told we only do it by appointment and just go home and schedule an appointment online . Reception could care less and should be replaced ASAP with motivated employees that actually care. Just there for a easy paycheck to do the bare minimum
I was really disappointed with the two ladies at the front desk. They were horrible. I came there with a reason. I obviously know what WellNow is and what they do but the two ladies at the front desk made me look stupid. My questions were not answered. I was there for my three years old child. Horrible staffing. No help at all.
My experience at Well now was a pleasant one. I booked my appointment for 10:15 am and as directed in their reply confirming my appointment I received a text 45 mins prior to my appointment advising me to head to the facility and text here when I arrived. Within a minute after arriving I received a telephone call from triage to go over my reason for my appointment and then was immediately invited in and placed in a room. I was seen by a nurse within minutes and then seen by doctor within minutes of her departure from room. The staff was super friendly and efficient. Very pleased with the whole experience.
I have a 100 year old parent who needed a covid test. I called and was told they are a walk in, the minute I ecplained my situation Carrie, the young lady on the phone immediately took control and made us an appointment. When we arrived Carrie was at the desk and greeted me saying shell get us right in. My mom was checked in to the room they had wsiting for us. The nurse came in followed by a PA to attend to us. My mother was treated with such kindness we were overwhelmed. I want to thank this amazing group of ladies for the care and attention they showed us. They will never know what it meant during this very stressful time foe us. The staff at the Camillus WellNow is above and beyond with the patient care we received. Thank you so much.
I visited urgent care on May 26. It was very easy making an appointment. I was worried about going now with everything going on but I knew I needed to be seen by a doctor for some thing other than The virus. They made it so easy getting your appointment online and gave you step-by-step instructions on what to do and registered you while you were in your car taking precautions so no patient came in contact with another. Everyone was extremely friendly caring and I was basically in and out in a very short period of time! Thank you to the doctors, nurses and staff!
Not a horrible wait, even with waiting in the car. I thought it was a quick visit, honestly much faster then any of myself or my daughters scheduled appointments go. The staff was very kind and professional. I was well informed of what to expect and what to do next. My prescription was ready and I was back home within the hour.
The staff were all very professional but friendly also. I felt their Covid precautions were good and I felt safe being there. My wait time was definitely reasonable. The nurse and the practitioner were thorough and explained everything to me. Also I got good ,clear discharge instructions. It was definitely a positive experience.
A long line awaited me when I went in for a Covid test on 8/31. I had an appt and had filled out everything on line so I thought I’d zip through! However, I had signed up for the Fairmount site and went to the Camillus site! Duh! Even after the wait & consequently being late, the staff could not have been nicer at both sites. So glad Fairmount didn’t close after Camillus was built! We couldn’t live without them since Covid!Second time around 12/29/21 - exposed again! Love Well Now Fairmount. Being able to register on line, friendly and efficient staff and nurses/techs - not sure what their positions were - but they explained everything & gladly answered questions even when they had been doing this routine for hours with hundreds of people! Well Now Fairmount & Camillus - are great!
I went to the Well Now on W Genesee St feeling really bad. The staff were all amazing, empathetic, professional and caring. I had a nurse in particular, I forgot her name but she knows who she is. She held my hand and calmed me while I waited for the ambulance. It’s so refreshing when you’re around people who value their job especially in healthcare. Great Job Well Now, you made me feel like I was family.
My husband had a bad toothache. We decided to head to the hospital and prepared for the long wait. We called our daughter to let her know. She told us to consider going to WellNow instead. I never heard of this place. It was only minutes away, so we went. We were in and out. The customer service was spectacular and the best part was they have a pac-man machine. I love this place. This is my first choice for medical emergencies. Thanks WellNow.
Came here as I wasnt feeling well when I woke up in the morning. Immediately greeted by Selena at the reception desk who was very personable and made me feel right at home. Was treated by Jackie who was very knowledgeable and explained everything to me transparently.Very caring and attentive Urgent Care location and would come.back again.
The front desk receptionist and staff checking me in were warm and friendly. One of them who escorted me to an examination room had a great sense of humor that he shared. The male assistant who gave me a test made the experience pleasant. I appreciated the professionalism and care that the staff demonstrated. I was pleased with the treatment and commitment to providing the best outcome possible.
I walked into WellNow with a cut that wasn’t overly severe but was noticeably bleeding. The front desk staff noticed my bleeding and got me into a room within minutes. Once in the room I was immediately seen by a nurse that took my vitals, which was promptly followed by an NP that performed my stitches, and as she left another nurse walked in to give me a Tetanus shot. The service was phenomenal. Every single staff member I came into contact with was kind, caring, and treated me as though my time was valuable. I 100% recommend and would go back to this office in the event of another unexpected injury.
The employees that work there were very courteous and welcoming. I didn’t have to wait long at all to be seen and they were pretty busy at that time. The doctor that had seen me was extremely nice and very reassuring which meant a lot to me!!! I definitely suggest if you have to go to an urgent care you decide to choose this one!
I had a great experience at Wellnow for a Covid19 test. I made a standing appointment and was seen close to the time I scheduled it, which was 4:10 pm on a Monday. The people were all friendly and helpful at the Fairmount facility. The problem was with the lab results. I kept checking my email and text messages the next day with no results. I checked Tues and Weds, still no results. My work was on my case about the results, which I couldnt produce!! I ended up calling Wellnow after work on Wednesday, which kept ringing and I stayed on the line for literally 10 mins as it continued to ring until someone finally picked up. I explained my situation and they verbally gave me my results and even had it printed out for me to pick up that evening. The young woman on the phone was very friendly and said that the lab has been having issues sending results to those being tested. I commemorate her for getting me out of a jam at work. I was able to give my results to my office manager and it gave her a sense of relief! Thank you Wellnow for your kind helpful people at the Fairmount facility.
I was here for an hour. Was waiting at some point for 20 minutes when the PA Lindsey said she had to “check my records”. When I went to see what was going on she wasn’t even out there. She was rolling her eyes and giving me attitude the entire time I was there and actually argued with me when I didn’t want my prescription sent to a certain pharmacy after I said I could wait another day. She was extremely rude and I will never go to this location again because of her. My experience was absolutely terrible. This PA needs a brush up on customer service because she clearly doesn’t know how to deal with people.
I was very impressed with the care I received at this location. I was at an 8 or 9/10 on the pain scale so I “saved my spot online” before arriving to the office to ensure timely care. However, I called the office to see if they accepted my insurance and the kind receptionist let me know I could be seen immediately if I’d like as the waiting room was empty. I arrived, was asked a few questions, and was seen and treated right away by an entire team of kind, professional staff. I highly recommend this urgent care and am thankful for the care I received yesterday.
The staff was amazing from the moment you sign in to the time you leave. They are so friendly and kind and treat you like an individual who they care about instead of just another faceless patient. They do what is necessary to diagnose your problem while chatting with you and really showing that they are concerned for your health and giving confidence that the problem can be fixed. The waiting room was comfortable with coffee and water and the waiting time was much shorter than a standard drs office. I just cant get over how sweet and funny the staff was. I would recommend going to an urgent care center to anyone.
I was especially impressed with the nurse who took my sample. She was friendly with a Smile. That is important to me. She had a skill in getting the sample which is not always pleasant for the recipient. As an RN myself, old at that, I may judge differently than the average patient .The staff in the inner office We’re equally pleasant.
Fast, friendly, reliable. Went in for a sinus infection. My only critique is that during COVID, everything seems to be related even when its not. I get the need for a test but a diagnosis of contact with COVID even when I stated several times no contact with any positive persons. (Test results were also faster than expected, and honest. Negative as expected). So while the virus is a thing, please listen carefully to your patients. And thank you for treating the main complaint in spite of it all. All in all a very positive experience.
While on vacation, our 13 yr old daughter developed an earache that was very painful, so we searched for the nearest urgent care to our Syracuse, NY hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful, and there was a short wait to be seen, but the best part was the PA who assessed her. Nagib Thabet looked in her ears and and started explaining what he saw, but then took the time to show me with the otoscope so I understood more clearly. He prescribed ear drops with steroids to help the pain and advised us on OTC meds to take along with drops for best pain control to get us through the rest of our trip. The overall experience was superbly comforting in the midst of a stressful situation, and I sincerely appreciate the care we received there!
Went in for a Covid test and they couldnt have been any nicer or professional. From the front desk to the nurses. Yes, the test came back positive. But if anybody had to be the bearer of bad news, they were more than genuine and gracious. Understanding the gravity of the situation, their words of encouragement, yet truth were absolutely helpful to me.
To tell you the truth didnt entirely know what to expect, hurt my back at work and my primary care Dr doesnt accept comp cases. I set up an appointment online, showed up, filled out some paperwork and they took me right back. Waited 5-10 minutes and the Dr came in with a nurse, evaluated my case, then someone came in did BP temp, that kind of stuff. They then took me to get x-rays. While I waited for them to evaluate the x-rays, someone came in and gave me a shot for the pain. 5 minutes later, Dr came in, told me my prognosis, steps that needed to be taken, she was very thoughtful, thorough, to the point. This was by far one of the best experiences Ive ever had, sure beat the heck out of the old ER days. I HIGHLY recommend a visit here if you want fast competent care. Thanks a bunch.
Had to go to Urgent Care for a recent asthma issue and had a great experience. The staff was incredibly warm and friendly - they got me in right away and didn’t keep me waiting. The nurse and the doctor were both extremely pleasant as well, and they took the time to listen to what I was experiencing and present me with the best option to treat my situation. Hopefully I don’t need to come back anytime soon, but I certainly will if I need to.
Given everything going on with COVID this staff was amazing. My infant daughter had bronchitis and they could not have been more accommodating. Everyone was so kind and so willing to help us, which meant everything to me. We did have to wait a bit but it was 100% worth it. She is doing soooo much better thanks to this team.
Every single person there was awesome. They were friendly, professional, and well organized (from my experience anyway). Unfortunately the only persons name I remember is Kaitlyn (sp?), the NP. Very down to earth! I would honestly consider going there again for care because of all those folks.
The staff here are very compassionate. I paid attention to how everyone was treated during my visit to urgent care and I was surprised because every other place that I had gone to in the past had some staff that were not very engaged in the clients well being. So it was great to see the staff here non discriminating to showing compassion for all clients.
My appointment time kept getting pushed back because the clinic was so busy, but once I arrived the entire staff was professional, sympathetic and helpful. It was a great experience and I would not hesitate to use this clinic again. I will recommend it to everyone I know.
I visited Wellnow Urgent Care in Fairmount NY to get a test done. I didnt have an appointment and they stated that they were all booked up for the day but I could come down and wait if I chose to. From registering, waiting, and getting the test done took less than an hour. Staff was very pleasant and professional with whats going on now.
Ive gotten (on average) 5 sinus infections per year, for the last 20+ years. Im not a doctor but Im pretty familiar with the signs and more qualified expert on my body (weve been together for quite some time). I waited a couple days after the initial grossness started to see if it was a weather change thing but since it didnt let up I knew I needed to go in. The person at the front desk was very nice. I didnt wait which is nice because I made an appointment. Everyone was pleasant but nobody was really listening to what I was saying. It felt as though they had predetermined it was just a cold and that was that...get her in and get her out...quickly. They didnt seem interested when I tried to explain my concerns. Thing is, my sinus infections ALWAYS end up bronchitis if left untreated. So now I spent $10 dragged my sick child out in the cold for nose spray. I wish I wasnt in between primary doctors. Looks like its a 5hr wait to come at urgent Care. Whats better is, my husband came in about an hour after me with the same symptoms and he has...you guessed it, a SINUS INFECTION. Apparently whoever he saw listened. I wont be coming back.
Zero stars would’ve been a better submission. I walked into wellnow today, mind you the parking lot and lobby were full I literally had to park in a different lot to get in. I walked in to a line basically out the door, when I got up to the counter and explained that I wanted to get tested for covid because I now know 10+ people that i’ve been around positive/ symptomatic people within the last 2 weeks. After she had asked me about insurance and if i’ve been fully vaccinated(which I am and explained that I am fully vaxxed) she denied me to be tested because “we are no longer in a state of emergency” and that i’m “good”………………………..Hi. just so you know, there are now 2 more variants(that we KNOW of) and it’s spreading like rapid fire. I don’t know that many people and the fact that I know 10+ people that have it/ are waiting for their results is insane to me. Also, to turn me down because i’m fully vaxxed means nothing because I can 100000000% get the other varrients/ transmit it to other people. Absolutely absurd. It may not even be the woman’s fault at the counter but wellnow, do better.
Doctor and nurses were very professional and nice .Asked all the right questions. Wait time was about 40 minutes to get in a room. Went at 8am when they opened. The only thing is that the waiting area was not very clean. Had not been vacuumed and the water machine was very dirty. Would not take a cup of water out of it. But the car was top notch. I would definitely go again.
I had a fantastic experience. Booked my appointment online with my cell phone and confirmation was received via text to my e-mail within minutes. Less than 1 hour later I was there, registered and cured. Not a broken leg. An ear plug due to ear wax smothered from swimming that I suffered thru for almost 3 days. Very satisfied with my experience.
I’m truly impressed with the staff’s quality care and friendliness at this urgent care facility. I walked in with a broken wrist about a half hour before closing and received first rate attention and care. I was interviewed, x-rayed, and fitted with a splint in less than an hour. They gave me a “fast pass” for an orthopedic appointment the next day. I would definitely recommend Well Now Urgent Care to others.
I have four children, all of whom have been treated here at one point or another, our most recent visit being yesterday. I could not recommend this place enough. Every single time we have been here I have been impressed by the cleanliness, the very minimal wait times and most importantly, the wonderful staff. From the people behind the desk, to the nurses and PAs...every single person we have encountered has been efficient, courteous, empathetic and knowledgeable. I am thankful to have such a service close by.
Not going to lie. The women there are very cute, no disrespect though. Everyone I delt with there were very nice and helpful. The doctor that saw me was really cool, helpful, quick, direct talk on my reoccurring ear infection. Long wait but once I got in, I was out in 10min.
I couldnt believe how quickly I was seen and taken care of. I had a very short waiting period in the waiting room. Once placed in an examination room I was seen immediately. My issue was quickly diagnosed and a prescription was called into my pharmacy. The staff and doctor were very efficient and competent. I would recommend WellNow Urgent Care in a heartbeat.
I was VERY pleased with my first visit here! Everyone from the front desk to the nurses and doctors were all extremely nice! Everyone had a smile on their face and was super helpful and vert timely! I am a receptionist at my job and I know how tough the job can be, but thank you for being so sweet! Keep it up! :)
They got my daughter in immediately. The admitting girl was so sweet, and quick. Anyone with a sick baby knows how miserable it is to answer a hundred questions and she made sure to be fast and just was so nice. The nurse we were given was very professional but personable as well. My crabby daughter didnt seem to bug him, and he was all smiles and helpful while she was a little fighter getting her vitals. He was great! They didnt make us wait long before we saw a PA and she was just perfect. She listened to everything and was so great and making sure she covered everything with my daughter. My LO is a fighter when shes sick, but she still had the most patience. The whole experience took under 35 minutes and a day later the meds are already helping my girl feel like herself. Couldnt be happier with our visit there, hope to not have to be back soon though 😂😜
Went to Wellnow, Fairmount location to get a COVID test. I was unaware that you would have to have an appointment. After explaining my situation they took me right back to have a testThey could of said no make an appointment, but they did not. All Wellnow employees go above and beyond to help you.
Came for covid test. Made a noon appointment. Arrived 10 minutes prior to appointment time and called office to let them know - as instructed. I was told I would receive a call to be “checked-in”...after 45 minutes waiting and not receiving the call I called back and was told “sorry we are receiving a lot of walk-ins and I couldn’t get to calling you”...makes absolutely no sense to make an appointment and then put the walk-ins at top priority. This is extremely frustrating and it was a terrible experience. My appointment took well over an hour and a half as I wasn’t even “checked-in” until an hour after my scheduled appointment time...
This was a very organized, streamlined process. I pulled in after work & The parking lot was full. I went home & checked online & was pleasantly surprised I could schedule an appointment based on current wait times! When I arrived I was told all the rooms were full so there might be a wait. Within 10 mins. I was called back. I felt that was quick!! Everyone was friendly & efficient. My provider, Mai, was thorough & explained everything so well. She was friendly & helpful. I was able to pick up my prescriptions right afterward. Although I strongly believe in having a PCP- this serves such s great purpose. I would definitely visit Wellnow again if needed.
My entire experience at the Fairmount NY facility was fantastic. The young man who checked me in was courteous, efficient and personable. He showed me to my room immediately and said someone would be with me soon. The first person came to take info and she was same as to office level of care. I had my list of meds she was thankful for. I coughed and said it was funny I thought to cover my mouth since it already was and she thanked me for the double cover. Next came Dr. and her assistant who took vitals. Asked all the right questions and I supplied my background to which she would give her reply. One such case was I said I had donated blood and they check for COVID and she thanked me for donating. Since I get sinus every year same time she suggested I set a reminder to start taking allergy meds one month before to hopefully stave it off. I showed her an old bottle of medicine that works best for me and she said that was what she was going to recommend too. She related some stories of people who came in with either no or the minority of symptoms but were covid positive and asked if I wanted to be tested to which i agreed. From start to finish I highly recommend this particular facility. Another plus was I goggled all places near me and each listed the wait time expected so that was an awesome feature on the internet. Thank you to all!
Any time we go here its fast, the people are pleasant and we dont feel like were just being brushed off. Most recently, I brought my daughter for a sports physical and thought wed end up waiting forever since she wasnt sick or injured. Nope! As usual, we waited no more than 10 minutes in the waiting room - and it was packed - got in and out! We never WANT to go here, but never hate it either!!
Great service!Having never been here before the registration process was painless. The receptionist took care of everything. The nurses and the doctor were great. Listened to my issue and were very friendly and helpful.I wouldnt hesitate to come here in the future and would recommend it to anyone.
I have always had a pleasant experience here. I also have not had to wait long. Most of the time. Busy is busy it cant be helped. All the staff always do their best to make you comfortable and are helpful. I have never had any staff be rude or have an attitude. Which does make a huge difference how your visit goes
Went in for bad head pressure, laryngitis, overall feeling terrible. They processed my insurance information very quickly and immediately went into a waiting room. Someone came in immediately and took my vitals and asked some questions about my reasons for my visit. After that the nurse practitioner came in and did an exam. Diagnosed my condition right away and sent a prescription to my pharmacy. Overall, the total time was probably 15 minutes. Quite impressive seeing its flu season and I went at 5:30pm! Very professional and clean. Will not go to primary care physician again except for physical and anything needing continuous care. Highly recommend.
Just a great experience all the way around. The woman at the front desk was very quick and efficient, and my daughter was taken into the back and put in a room immediately after I signed her in. The nurse and doctor put her at ease, and quickly assessed her injury and decided on a course of action. I was very pleased with their thoroughness and the quality of her care. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone - our experience was definitely top-notch.
Both Camillus and Fairmount offices have great Staff! Very professional and helpful. Made my daughter feel very comfortable when she got her test out first time to Camillus office. The only complaint I have is Covid testing scheduling has do be done better. The wait on getting a test was way to long especially when I had an appointment. Maybe have one nurse just do scheduled testing while others take care of sick walk ins.
I brought my 1 year old in 30 mins before closing, and despite the waiting room being full, we only waited about 10 mins. Everyone we encountered was very friendly, and the doctor was wonderful. He even walked us to the exit so he could open all of the doors for me as I carried my son. It was a very quick visit, and luckily nothing serious, but gave me peace of mind and I would not hesitate to go back.
The people at this urgent care are very rude and discriminate against you if you don’t speak English very well. My friend went in today with her 2 children around 5 pm to get a COVID test for her son. She waited 3 hours to be seen by a dr or nurse but by the time she went up to the desk to ask when she could be seen, the facility was closing and they turned her away.
If you are looking to get the pcr covid19 test results within 72hr for travel this is not A good urgent care to go to. walked in and was taken care of. The covid19 test was not painful as I thought. The staffs were great, I just didn’t get my results within 72hrs time frame.
Wait time was very minimal. I had a great nurse and doctor. Even the receptionist up front was super friendly. Very informative and bedside manner was A+. Will definitely use them again for myself and my children when we are in a pinch and can not get an appointment to see our primary!
Very happy with the service. All the people are very pleasant, professional, and have a passion for what they do. Very efficient and courteous to deal with. Totally made an unpleasurable situation easier to deal with. Would be the first place I would go to if any need for immediate care. Thank you
I woke up Saturday morning feeling sick. Booked a time online. Was greeted by friendly staff and treated quickly. The nurse gave me the throat culture I asked for and my results were bath in about 20 minutes. My only complaint is that the text reminder should mention the location you checked into online. I was sort of out of it and worried I was going to the wrong one.
I went to WellNow Urgent Care on Sunday and was very impressed from the moment I walked in. First thing I noticed was it smelled clean, there were hand sanitizers, tissues and masks on the counter. The best part, a short wait time and everyone was courteous and professional.
The ladies that helped me were really sweet! Had to wait a bit in my car because of covid-19, they took great precautions and when I got in, it was real quick and they helped me get antibiotics/meds. Definitely the place I’ll go to if I need anything urgent. Highly recommend!
Worst urgent care to go to. Unprofessional environment, that the staff create by gossiping about people in the waiting room. Unfriendly check-in process, disorganized, and rude. Staff not attentive to current needs and left there with an unresolved issue. The patient experience was horrible. Healthcare professionals are to hold to standards of care when treating patients and they were certainly not met at a recent visit.
Really great service and amazing staff. I arrived and they took me right away with no wait, talked to a physician and gave me the meds that I needed all in under 30 minutes. Super super nice, caring and respectful staff all around. Highly recommend for anyone who needs quick, timely help!
Got in super quick, everyone was super nice and helpful, my nurse was hilarious and kept spirits up when asking those awkward questions, my doctor came in and he was super nice and laid back (but in that professional type way where they lean against the counter but talk professional), didn’t talk down to me because i’m barely an adult, explained everything he was doing and what he was seeing, diagnosed me super quick and very accurate, gave reasoning as to his diagnosis and treatment, made sure i understood everything, got me on antibiotics and steroids to treat my infection, and it was only 2 days ago and today i was well enough to go to work for a full day and do my job! absolutely fantastic, 10/10 would recommend
The wait online said 24 mins but they got me in right away. The nurse who did the blood pressure and what not was wicked nice and fast. The PA who saw me after was extremely nice, professional and fun which made the visit a lot nicer. The whole visit was fluid and great
Went to the clinic for flu like symptoms. The front desk was very informative. I knew how long I would wait and my out of pocket costs before I was seen. Jess took my vitals and I saw Carol for diagnosis and treatment. Both were professional, friendly and sympathetic. The facility was clean and offered water, coffee, tea and have a TV in the treatment rooms.
I felt very safe and comfortable visiting this location. I scanned the code at the door and was able to check in from my car. I was called and taken directly from my car to a room. The staff was very kind and reassuring. I would highly recommend visiting this location!
A little place over the hill from my house i never knew about, usually a prompt visit is half a day if lucky. I used my phone made an appointment, they took care of the situation, insurance covers it. The doctors and staff were friendly and funny. The place had free coffee.
I was so impressed by, and thankful for how professional and friendly everyone at this urgent care center was. I ended up there very close to closing, but I never had the impression that people were in a hurry to leave. My care was quick, but thorough. I would definitely recommend this urgent care center to others, and, though I hope that I never need them again, I would return here for care myself.
My son needed proof of a physical exam for his working papers, and I didnt realize his current physical was out of date. After being told his regular doctor couldnt see him for more than two months, I brought him to WellNow in Fairmount. Twenty minutes and $30 later, we left after a thorough physical exam with the proof we needed. Zero aggravation, pleasant staff, knowledgeable, friendly doctors and nurses. Will definitely keep this in mind for situations like this!
Sunday night at 7:40pm and they got me right in! Staff was professional & courteous and treated me like I was their first patient of the day instead of their last. Ended up with an ear infection and possible strep throat. Thank goodness they are open on weekends until 8. Great location, clean facility and prompt care!
Staff was very friendly and caring to my needs. I thought it took too long to get my first test result back. Id been there before and got results much quicker? The room I was in was freezing. Not fun having a fever in a chilled room. Even the nurse practitioner commented on how cold it was.
Arrived at 3:25 never left until 6:00 pm.Doctor Alex was great, but woman at front desk very slow and did not know how to get insurance information. I got them on phone twice but would not take phone from me. Needed approval for CAT scan, because of her incompetence we waited over 2 hours
The phone number has a calling restriction on, that’s not professional. The only way to get a Covid rapid testing is by setting up an appointment. Their phone isn’t accepting calls so making an appointment is nearly impossible if you don’t have internet access. Fix this.
Made a visit to the Fairmount well now facility today at approximately 2:30pm. The nurses were wearing their masks down under their chin. A female nurse came from the back, out to the front desk, and was hugging and kissing on the guy on the computer. When we entered , we were trying to social distance. But the girl at the desk said come on up and I explained we weretrying to keep our distance because there was someone still at the counter. The chairs we sat in in the lobby had all of 6 between them. The nurse came in to take my family members history which was not in the computer and this was his 4th time being there and she said there was no medical history in the computer but she didnt know why. She did not wash her hands before or after coming into the Room. This was all in spite of the fact that there were people in there who thought they may be covid positive. Totally unacceptable....If I end up sick, Ill def know where I got it...
I was feeling like ... BadStopped Saturday morning figuring it was going to be a long ordeal. Not the case. I was seen immediately. In/ Out in @1/2 hr. Prescription called into my pharmacy from WellNow. Before I left.Friendly, Fast, and thorough. What more can you ask for when you are sick
The wait was short, the place was nice, everyone was friendly. The problem was that when I got the printout, the guy (shadowing?intern? Idk) who typed in the information while I was talking to the Nurse Practitioner must not have been listening at all. I listed 4 or 5 symptoms & when I got the paper back there were 2 - one of which I didnt say, & which is not at all what I had been saying to the Nurse Practitioner. I felt like I had been completely dismissed & hadnt been listened to at all. Next time Ill either go somewhere else or wait for my primary care Dr to be open. I know they work hard to make it nice, but if I want to talk for a while and have no one actually listen to me Ill ask my toddler to pick up his toys.
Saved a spot online, got there and tried to explain to the woman behind the desk. She got snippy with me and cut me off. Gave her my name and I sat down. Was eventually brought to triage, then put back in the waiting room for roughly a minute, then into an actual room. Saw a PA, explained my illness. Got an xray of my chest. Was then asked to sit on a lounge with other sick people while I await the results. Despite having chest pain and shortness of breath with my bad cough, and explaining Im having surgery in less than a month and need to get better, I was brushed off. I was told, I know it sucks, but hang in there. Not even an antibiotic. No cough suppressant. Was told to come back if I had chest pain or was short of breath. Even though I told them I already had that. Wasted time there!!!There were also about ten to fifteen bags of garbage piled near the xray room. Disgusting!!!
My wife and I both visited a day apart. She had fallen and broke a rib. I had badly cut myself with a ceramic knife and required stiches. Staff was extremely compitent and personal. Hopefully it will not be necessary, but we would call them first if we needed help. Our thanks to all of them..
The lady at the front desk was very cold and wasnt friendly. I check in then immediately get sent back to a room. I thought great Ill be in and out. After getting my vitals from the nurse I sat in the room for over 30 mins waiting for a doctor. Why even bring me back there if Im just going to sit in a room by myself. Horrible service
PrImary care Dr unavailable day of visit office recommend this urgent care facility for what I needed checked. It seemed professional and courteous. The waiting room could use a trash can for tissues, and they said there was no wifi even though it is detected main & guest.
This urgent care is definatley 5 Stars. I just left there with my son who was broken out in hives and wheezing. He was treated immediately by a wonderful friendly and caring staff. Both the front desk, nurses and the Doctor were AWESOME. I will never go anywhere else. Thank you all very much!!
CAMILLUS LOCATION NOT THE FAIRMONT LOCATION. HORRIBLE STAFF NO ONE AT THE FRONT DESK HAD A MASK ON . I WAITED 24HRS FOR AN APPOINTMENT FOR MY SON JUST TO SAY WE DIDNT DO IT ONLINE CORRECTLY. CLEARLY THEY DONT KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING NEED BETTER KNOWLEDGEABLE STAFF! RECOMMEND A DIFFERENT LOCATION!
I went there first thing in the morning and was in and out within 45 mins. The staff and PA were very courteous and I received very fast attention. Was in the room within 5 mins and saw the PA within 15. This was my 6th visit and each time was fast and acceptable medical care. Great alternative then having to schedule an appointment with my pcp.
Elderly mom received excellent care in a timely manner from the minute we arrived. Their concern and advice on further follow up was so appreciated. Id recommend Urgent Care, Fairmount, to all in the area when initial diagnosis is necessary!--professional , timely and skilled!
Extremely disappointed in how their service was. After being seen for my illness and being given a prescription. My full prescription wasnt sent over based off what the PA told me. only to call and then be misinformed about it. and then calling back again was told i shouldnt have another prescription even though the Dr informed me otherwise.
Quick service. “Factory” atmosphere. I wouldn’t expect a doctor, but would expect someone who would demonstrate more bedside manner than the PA/nurse who saw me. Diagnosis was quick with little explanation.Prescribed me a medication that my pharmacy said is over-the-counter only, and therefore not covered. It would be helpful for my heathcare provider to know thisnin advance.
Very clean, not crowded, I had about a 40 minute wait, but it didnt seem that long. I had a Keurig hot chocolate, and read 1/2 of a magazine. The receptionist was very kind, and the nurse or PA was also very professional.I ended up with a bad ear infection; they called in the rx to the only drugstore that was open on New Years Day, when I got to the other side of town, the script was ready.I will always recommend 5 Star urgent care.Cookie Falcone
I went there because my blood pressure was high. After waiting more than an hour in room 5 I got nothing solve for my health, a nurse told me that I have to lose weight, thats all. I had to go to emergency at university hospital to get treated and get my blood pressure to normal levels. I will never recommend your services. They basically called a fat man.
I’ve been there twice now with two different children and they sent us a bill for both saying my insurance didn’t cover any of the visit. It’s complete BS! I have blue cross/blue shield and have been to other urgent cares and didn’t have any issue. Avoid Wellnow!!! They are a con isn’t option but they try to screw you in the end.

2022-05-16My local emergency room had a 5 hour wait so I decided to leave and go to wellnow. I had never been and didnt really know what to expect. All I can say is wow, they have wonderful service! I was seen within 5 or 10 minutes of arriving and was tested for multiple sicknesses so quickly and efficiently. Everyone was so kind and friendly, especially the PA Lydia. They made the whole experience so quick and easy, I will definitely be coming back next time I need to and recommending this place to friends!

2022-06-29I went in for a DOT physical as a walk in. Usually when people do that they have a long wait ahead of them. They got me right in and I was done, start to finish in under an hour. Front desk is friendly and professional. Healthcare providers were courteous, attentive and listened to my needs. I will definitely be going back. I wish I could give them 10 stars.

2022-06-01Brought my 7 year old to WellNow in Fairmount for an earache after I couldn’t get an appointment with her PCP. Front desk staff was efficient and very friendly. We were taken quickly taken to a room and only waited about 5 minutes before the provider came in. He was very nice, great with my daughter, and got us in and out. We were there for maybe 25 minutes, start to finish.

2022-05-10Brought in my 3 year old for a covid test and everyone was so friendly. The receptionist that answered the phone was funny, the nurse that did the test was awesome and the doctor came in the room like a ball of sunshine!! He was nervous and then ended up laughing - it was probably the best experience I’ve had at an urgent care!!!

2022-06-23I’m a travel agent and when things started opening up in mid to late 2021, I went to our local WellNow for the tests required in order to travel. The online booking was super easy, there was no wait because they scheduled them incrementally, staff was fantastic, and I recommend them to all of my clients that live in the central New York area and beyond. Test results were back the same day. We will be back again.

2022-05-11Both times i went to the WellNow clinics in Camillus this week (for Covid and flu tests) i was seen immediately. The reception staff was welcoming, kind, professional and efficient. Staff that took vitals and information were also friendly and knowledgeable. When results were shared, the medical staff was clear, informative, listened to and answered my questions and concerns, and gave me useful information to make informed decisions about returning to work safely. (I went to a Well Now nearer my home before the 2nd visit and was told they could not take walk-ins at that time because they were full. the staff there was also very kind, apologetic and tried to find a Well Now that could take walk-in pts. Despite their being full, the front office was orderly and calm &other patients clearly benefitted from this.) Well Now has provided the best medical/diagnostic care i have received in years (I just moved back to NY from OH)

2022-06-03I was VERY pleased with my recent experience at the Fairmount WellNow.I had to have a specific covid test for an upcoming procedure, and it had to be on this precise day. I had an appointment elsewhere and when I went to get it their entire system was down store wide. I was in a bit of a panic wondering if Id be able to get one anywhere else on such short notice and they suggested I try WellNow. The Camillus branch was so very nice on the phone and offered to put me on their list but that they had a 3-hour wait. Im thinking 3 hours big deal lol. They suggested I go to the Fairmount branch which is about a half mile away. When I walked in there was one person ahead of me, but I was taken in the same time they were because they had more than one nurse👏👏 It was such a pleasant experience I cant even begin to tell you. Shockingly, one of the nurses was there when I had been there a very, very long time ago, and I recognized her.Thank you to all of you at WellNow.

2022-05-13Very quick service. Friendly, patient focused care. We were in and out in 25 minutes for a moderate laceration. Will definitely go there again if there’s a need!
