Don’t go to this place if you have other choice! I came the first time only because I found a promotion. I made the order thu mobile app and said have the order make ASAP. still waited a long line,and when get to my turn, they said can’t find my order and ask me to go back and wait for it again. And there is not an option to cancel since I choose make the order “ASAP”Stupid. I would never go here again.
Well after leaving the drive thru at McDonald’s up the road, the line at Wendy’s wasn’t too bad. Well I was impressed because I made it thru 7/8 cars in under 10 minutes. The food was hot, the fries crispy and the Frosty wasn’t melted. The order was correct except for missing a spoon. No baked potatoes though at 8:15pm. Otherwise great service and great food.
Was told that this store is locally-owned thats cool and all but I worked at Wendys for 2 and half years and all Wendys go with the same practice good quality food. You guys in Ithaca $#!+!!!!! could find some good choice words but I was taught u aint got nothing good to say then dont say nothing........ bad service. Under cooked food but the best was a note in my burger to enjoy my food thats funny. Whats sad this is the second time I was told well reimburse your money I get down here and they dont know what Im talking about. What money? Are you sure its the right store? Games games games
The lady in the drive thru was rude when we pulled up to the window to get our Mobil order, than when we did get it, we specifically asked for no mayo... my wife has severe allergies, there was only one sandwich without mayo and all the others had mayo. Very rude about replacing the order as well. The manager helped very quickly, maybe hold some stress training to the employees.
Tried to get uber eats from them, took them two hours and my driver was changed three times because they wouldnt give them the food or tell them to go through the drive thru to pick it up. woman on the phone was ridiculously rude and yelled at me for something that was completely out of my control and then cancelled the order once i hung up even though she said she had it made and in the system because i talked back. love wendys but this was terrible service & wont be ordering from them again
Decent food as usual, but I cant recall the last time the line for the drive through was this long.. No worries - sometimes that is what happens. Unfortunately, I didnt have a chance to check the order and got home 30 min away to find one of the salads was missing everything but essentially the green salad ... Oops... Waiting to hear back from Wendys, but hungry in the meantime...Followup:. No comment from Wendys in any way - no responses to email, tweets etc. When I stopped in the next time months later, they got the order right, but mentioning the poor experience the previous visit got nothing but a humph, okay... One fewer stars due to the compete apathy and disregard for customer satisfaction.
The line in the drive through moved quickly however the people inside did not have a good attitude and they charged me a full sandwich when all we wanted was a just piece of chicken. they gave me strawberries instead of apples and charged us full another order of fries when we didn’t want them. they did not care at all and didn’t want to be bothered about it.
People, double check your order. Almost every time we go there they forget to put it all in the bag and this has caused us many return trips to get what we pay for, plus the extra gas to return for food they forgot to give us. Getting to be ridiculous. How about some reimbursement for all the extra weve had to spend in gas for your mistakes. Get it together folks. You all need some better training.
Made an order via doordash was charged got a confirmation and a message saying my food was picked up and on the way. Then I get an email saying my order was canceled it was 4pm. No explanation no Apology but in the meantime they got my money and claim I have to wait 3 to 4 days for a refund. Bad service customer service non existent. The drive through is even worse employees are nasty, moody unprofessional.
They got my order perfect and it was put together with care, not like their competitor, McDonalds, who has gone downhill. Wendys fries were hot, crispy, with just the right amount of salt. There was a nice big piece of lettuce and tomato on my sandwich, with the right amount of mustard. I dont eat fast food often, but now I want to go back! I was worried b/c they are always hiring and thought maybe the service would suffer, but I was wrong.
WTH, Wendy’s? What happened to breakfast? We’ve been really patient, but it’s been months, and my Pitbulls want their sausage biscuits from your very quiet (crickets…) drive thru. Everyone else on that strip pulls it together every single morning to serve breakfast, EXCEPT the red headed slacker chick. Come on, Wendy, this is getting seriously awkward. As long as I’m here, I’ll also mention the fact that your ice cream machine for frosties is “under maintenance” more often than not.#YouHaveOneJob
It is disappointing that the dining room is not open. It is hurting there business and losing customers to Arbys. I eat there every week. Not happy I cant dine inside. It is very dissappointing they dont allow that. The dining room has been closed for the last week. I hope you reopen the dining soon or you be losing a great customer.
For some reason I have always avoided going to Wendys over other fast food restaurant. Lately that has changed. I have started going more often. I have found it is one of the faster drive thrus in town. I really love the Bacon Jalapeno Cheesebuger. Got just the right amount of jalapenos, bacon, fried onions and creamy cheddar cheese. I always love a chocolate frosty and the fries always seem to be seasoned just right.
The worker was not good at all. I ordered the double meat burger meal. I asked what came on it and then told her I did not want certain items. I then had to tell her three times I wanted the meal. When I got the burger it had all the items on the burger so I had them make it again. I could hear them complaining about me. They dont have the breakfast serving very long. She also complain that they dont have enough help. Not my problem. Next time will go to Arbys we love Arbys anyways or Burger King.
Went there before an appointment to get something quick, i ordered an Asiago ranch chicken sandwich and i left and ended up i got the complete wrong order and ended up with a burger, chicken nuggets, and cookies. its a good place if you want to be completely surprised by your order. had to go back and ended up late for my appointment.
Every time I come here they get my order wrong. They correct it every time, but its not worth the effort. Last visit I made we received 2 free frosties in addition to our newly corrected orders, so that was nice. But still not worth it.Also incredibly slow service and occasionally uncooked french fries.
Not going here ever again. This Wendys was great 10 years ago but has gone way down hill since. After ordering there several times recently it seems they have trouble even creating their own basic meals. Most recently this week I ordered the same combo 2 separate days I noticed there isnt very much consistency with how they serve food. One day I had fries with so much salt on them it almost made me sick. Today my fries were half burnt half soggy with no salt at all. Now aside from the poor food there was also really poor customer service. The guy on the inercom has no right to be in customer service with his attitude. I was trying to order food while at the same time getting rude remarks and attitude from this guy only to watch home play with his beard then handle my fries with his bare hands right before handing me my food. Needless to say Im not going to eat there again especially when staff handling my food is not wearing gloves.
Its a standard Wendys with relatively quick drive through lines and friendly enough staff. Quality of their food has gone down over the years as they try to reduce food costs.If youre craving Wendys because youre feeling nostalgic, youll probably leave feeling sick and wondering what happened.
Used to work here. extremely unprofessional & the managers were extremely disrespectful to me. i let them know before i was even on the schedule i couldn’t work said days because a family member passed and i had to attend the funeral, they still scheduled me after they said it was okay and considered it a no call no show. they had attitudes 24/7 and one of the managers Kim was extremely rude, as it was my first time on drive thru by myself and it was extremely busy, she was snatching things out of my hand and talking shit about me to people and cursing and having an attitude towards me. never wrote anything down and the main manager would cut me off and disrespect me every time i tried to talk. HORRIBLE management and i recommend nobody to work here.
Was ok food was delicious but the employees customer service skills could be tweaked a bit to be much nocs to people when they cant hear them over other loud vehicles in the drive thru line.... again great food and for the most part very friendly workers expect the gentleman today....and always alot better everything then McDonalds
Everytime I go there I always ask for extra onions, and get two small pieces of onions. I dont know why its so difficult to add like 4 pieces on it. They hardly have value menu as it is. If im spending $7 on a sandwhich why cant I have a few extra slices of onion if I ask nicely?
This Wendys offers the typical variety of chicken sandwiches and burgers. We went on a Friday night and the dining room was empty. After we placed our order a team of 20 middle school lacrosse girls came in and the decibel levels instantly went off the charts. So much for a quiet meal! The food was good. However, the service was a little slow and it seemed like there was a consistent amount of confusion going on behind the counter about which tray gets what meal items.
The food there is normally up to standards. However what is not up to standards is the staff member who gave me attitude and who also gave an 11 year old attitude too. She was extremely nervous and couldnt explain exactly what she wanted to order, the man kept abruptly telling her what size over and over again with a very rude and blunt attitude. Upon asking him what his name was, he looked at me and very quietly said Nate whilst giving me attitude. I dont expect to pay $20 for lunch and have myself and my Girlfriends 11 year old sister, being given attitude by a man. The funniest thing of all is that the man who gave me my order, was much nicer than Nate.
We went to Wendys after a long day on the football field to get a hot meal and unfortunately, it wasnt any where near hot. The fries were ice cold & disgusting. My grilled chicken was cold, dry as a bone and nasty. Very dissapointed because we love Wendys. Not a good experience.
Disgusting! Walked into the restaurant with my wife and 3 kids, instantly my wife and I were sickened with the grotesque smell coming from the filthy facility. Tables were covered with grime. We couldnt find a place to sit, so we got our frostys to go. Our shoes stuck to the floor as we ordered our ice cream. The carpet had food and stains everywhere. I can only imagine what the food prep and cooking area looks like if the dining area is so below standards.
Wendys is usually a really good place to go and I like this time of year because they have that awesome fish sandwich and if you havent tried it you should its really really good but the past week waiting in line through the drive-thru has been pure hell Ive waited for 30 to 45 minutes to order and then had to wait another 15 minutes to get my food the one kid that is on that window needs not to be on the window anymore he holds up that line so much he doesnt know what hes doing
I have tried multiple times to give this location a chance.however every time I go to this location I feel extremely rushed to place an order and theres one employee that makes me feel like I am an inconvenience to him. And I have also shared my experience with management to no avail I recommend wendys. But not the wendys in ithaca ny

2022-05-05Had to repeat my order 4 times! Asked for 2 sausage egg and cheese with Swiss and 2 bacon egg and cheese classic. Lady had an attitude when I had to repeat my order 4 times bc she couldn’t get it the first time Got to the window didn’t say not one word to me snatched my money gave me change handed me my food all with here you go. Got home noticed I had only 3 sandwiches allll of them sausage. Called and a lady named Mary picked up and wanted to argue with how many sandwiches I got. I paid $16 and some change and when each sandwich is $3.29 the math doesn’t add up. Kept telling me I saw the ticket she only charged you for one classic. Okay ma’am how does 3 sandwich add up to $16? When each sandwich is $3.29. Had to tell them they were all rude and I’ve never treated anyone like that working my whole life in a customer service atmosphere. Not a great way to start your morning. Will be passing Wendy’s in the morning from now on.

2022-08-31What a mess the Ithaca Wendy’s is. It is an embarrassment to our beautiful city. I pulled in at about 8:30pm. The sign is dark except for one small section. I thought they were closed. Employee asked me what I wanted, I order my chicken parmesan salad and small frosty. The vanilla machine was broken, there was no ranch dressing, and other condiments needed. The employees stated the owner Christian could care less about the place or the employees. The sign has been broken for weeks. This Wendy’s is run down and poorly managed. When there are only two people working the quality suffers. Maybe if the owner care about his business maybe his employees would also.

2022-07-15In my opinion, Wendy’s is the last best burger place around. But today a little disappointed. The bottom bun was hard and dry and couldn’t eat it. Otherwise as good as I expected it to be.

2022-07-26We went to Wendy’s at 11:30 and the person at the drive through was very rude and disrespectful. When taking the order she asked what soda and I told her what and she was like “we don’t have that and I asked what they had and she rudely said they were out of a lot so I asked what they had and she rudely again said dr.pepper so we got that and then I asked for the rest of my meal and she said “pull up”. No thank you etc. Then when I got my drinks I was trying to grab them she said “I’m not slow” when I was trying to grab them. So I got everything and then we left she was very mean and I was with my niece and nephew and they were kind of upset bc I got upset bc of the way she was talking to me. I hope you can take care of this.Thank you

2022-08-30I don’t usually leave reviews but I ate here last night.. customer service was as gross as the food . I also woke up at 2 Am and discovered they had given me food poisoning. Will not be eating there ever again.

2021-06-08The line was a little long when we approached but it moved right along. Much faster than leading competitors. The food was great as usual and the staff was kind and friendly. They also allow people to order from inside as well as drive through.
