Location: This Wendys is in a central location between Hempstrad Turnpike and Hempstead Ave. This one is one of my least favourite locations.Food: The food is hit or miss with Temperature. Ive had to double check to make sure the fries are hot before I leave the drive thru. Other times the bread is a bit stale.Ambience:wouldnt want to dine in. This location has been the same since i was a kid over 20 yrs ago! No renovations! It looks dingy from the outside. Other Wendys have been renovated circa 2017 and looks opulent, modern and welcoming.Im disappointed in this store. With prices raising and other options in the area, I can eat healthier HOT food. ✌🏾
Some of these employees dont care! This one was in charge of the orders at the counter and she was more worried about being on her personal cell and oh yea she had her kid waiting for her at a table! all the cars in the drive thru about 5!! got their food before me!RIDICULOUS! And she forgot the cheese on one of my orders!!!
Please stay away from this place, it really is not what one expects from wendys. other wendys are good but this one especially keep away I ordered a awesome bacon cheeseburger I did not even get bacon and the service super extremely bad n not napkins ☹️

Let me start by saying I love Wendy’s and I hate giving low reviews but wow this location is bad. Got a burger there and there were all these weird dots and I took a bite (for some reason) and it tasted what I imagine dog food tastes like. There are lots of good Wendy’s on Long Island, this is not one of them
Wendys are well Wendys. If your hungry and want something fast Wendys is actually an ok choice. Their ground beef is a higher grade then any other fast food burger places, Mc, kings. I have to say I love the Daves Double so when my son wants to go Im with him. One small wish for me would be drop the price of sodas and other cold drinks since McDonalds has all cold drinks $1.09 while Wendys large is over $3 × the number of drinks you want so if your buying 4 then itll be $12 as apposed too McDonalds which would be $4.34. We do buy Wendys burgers and chicken and we do run through McDonalds for drinks just down the road on the way home.
Well didnt receive sauce dips bar - b - que and honey mustard last evening, and too there was numerous Drive up service, Place was very busy though, yet staff was pleasant,.had to ask for my tea order. No complains
My experience here is always BAD, the wait is long, the food is always given wrong! the cashier is always clueless, & the manager & kitchen staff in the morning is always argumentative about it. at least at night the re make ur order the correct way with no arguments because they probably have a little more common sense.
My daughter ordered the Baconator and the meat was overcooked. App order had mayo but none was added however, pickle was added which was not asked.for or comes with this sandwich. Very disappointed.
This Wendy always seems to disappoint me. The last couple of times I ordered from door dash my orders were either wrong or items were missing very unpleasant especially when you’re looking forward to something. The first time I ordered I requested chicken sandwiches and they were all beef and my fries were missing. Today I ordered a lemonade and it never arrived. The service needs to be better.
We spent 32 mins waiting for our 4 burgers and 2 fries. The employees were not capable of making the food, running the cash register and helping customers. One employee was extremely rude to customers and customers were not happy, a few wanted their money back. After our long wait, our burgers were overcooked and our fries werent cooked enough.Horrible experience. Will not go back.

They changed the hours that they close and had a long line of about 20 cars waiting and didnt even tell anyone they were no longer serving. They were just inside watching the line get longer and longer. If you are lucky enough to be open during the pandemic..your customers should be treated better.

Its very unprofessional and its illegal to have one price on your menu board and a higher price programs in your registers. Its time for renovation the place is dingy and old. All the other fast foods are renovating their restaurants. That makes it much more inviting and appealing to the customers. Everything I experienced at this Wendy tell me they dont care about the customers.
I had 3 people in my car buying food and drinks, it took them 20 minutes to effectively get their meals! I did not partake, yet, I can surmise the service was awful!
The place is not too big, but very nice and usually very clean, with fast service, and helpful employees. Wait time is reasonable for fast food restaurant. So far each visit did not experienced any problems. Drinks are stacked up and condiments in place. Food tastes good and fresh. Recommend based on recent few visits, and Ill be back.
Today the night crew wasn’t wearing any mask! AND ITS COVID TIME. Generally they are very friendly and the food comes quick, quality is good at times. They do forget my sauce for my nuggets at times and than it’s just a waste cause who eats nuggets without sauce. Am I right? But besides the point wear your mask, and it wasn’t just one employee. SMH 😑
I love the Breakfast sandwiches. I mistakenly thought I was overcharged, I had a free baconator coupon. No shame in my game. So I go back and start talking ya ya; only to notice I was WRONG.i said Sorry and meant it, the mgmt came and explained and was kind. Thank you! West Hempstead is a great Wendys location.
Terrible the meat looked and tasted like compressed. Something other than a good meat. Never again. I forgot to mention the double jalapeno burger was so badI took 2 bites them wrapped it up and threw it away. A wasted 10 bucks

Food is Great But they never fully listen to my order!! I always ask for no Mayo and tomato but when I get my meal both are always on there. Not once out of a Over a dozen times have they gotten that right! I have also been short-changed On occasion but I believe that is accidental. The person taking the order just needs to communicate more with the person cooking the food and then it would be a great Fast food Restaurant. Just make sure you absolutely tell them what you want and then check your order when you receive it.. Other than that no other complains.
Fries were burnt, spicy chicken sandwich was barely mild and forgot my kid’s meal. I found the bad Wendy’s in the area unfortunately. Order from the one further west on Hempstead turnpike, they’re always good.
Im a frequent shopper here w/out much choice. people working here ALWAYS make mistakes in your order especially in drive-thru(not to mention the busted speaker they have causing you to not understand them) thats why the best way to go is order in the app ahead. they seem so disorganized in running the restaurant...and oh yeah they still owe me a frosty!😡
Driver thru worker doesnt answer when you get to the mic and when you drive around after waiting for 5 minutes she wants to ask why you came around??? What are you supposed to do? Then gets the order wrong AT the window. Really? If I wasnt in a hurry I would have left and went somewhere else.
I love this place, Ive been going to this place for quite awhile and they do an outstanding job. Dont hesitate, and try it. I promise you wont be disappointed. Is a busy place, therefore, tried calling first and make your appointment.

First of all BRING BACK THE SPICY NUGGETS. Secondly I dont see the difference between the $5 dollar biggie bag vs the 4 for $4. Anyway the food is always fresh and good. Gave it a 4 because the spicy nuggets are gone.

I wish I can give them Zero stars. Their Drive Thru Staff is an inadequate Unreliable Group of Latina High Schoolers who can’t get a single order correct. That is their signature. If it’s not one things, it’s the other. Whether they forget to include an order In the bag or they get the whole order wrong, It’s always Something. It’s like they fail to grasp comprehension & lack the understanding of everything. They also have the tone of feeling annoyed when I complain about an order THEY messed up. It’s a shame it’s in my hometown. I will never go back there again.

Forgot two of our sandwiches and didn’t give us a receipt. Called back and once we explained what happened they left us in silence for about a minute until we hung up. Then we called back and they must have disconnected their phone because the call wouldn’t go through. Very rude and unprofessional.
I was told I couldnt use 3 coupons in the drive thru. Because I have trouble walking this was extremely inconvenient. Luckily I had someone with me who went inside and placed the order. I will never spend money or time in this Wendys.
It was an ok Wendys. I got the 5 piece chicken nuggets but the cashier forgot to give barbecue and honey mustard sauce and the ketchup machine didnt even have ketchup in it. The line also took forever.
Came in Thursday night , young African girl took my order in drive thru and I specifically said honey mustard please when she clearly heard me and did not add it after repeating it . This is a sign that this employee does not care about customers!
Rude as Hell at the drive thru. If you dont like your job, then quit.... Move on you are in the customer service business, not just taking orders......

Went to the drive thru the lady on the drive thur did not understand what we saying and we asked for extra mayo she there is no more went inside asked for a manager and got some more mayo. She also did not give the receipt. There is no need to lie to a customer and you should always be given a receipt.
The burger itself was average. It costed $15 for the bacon cheeseburger, fries and a drink. In and out is better: taste, freshness and quality.I would have to eat at least 3 of these burgers to get full.

The food was delicious but when I tried to get a ice coffee beverage the female in the drive thru window she said the she cant make more but when I asked her ambitiously she said it will take 3 minutes . I didnt like her attitude at the end.
Order a 4for 4 plus 1 order of spicy chicken nuggets. They gave me the wrong dipping sauce and no straw when I went back the server had an attitude wasnt very happy about that.
Best Wendys I have ever been to. Its definitely cooked and looks like everything it shows on TV. Plus the manager with the blonde hair and blue eyes is super hot too....

I was pulled over by police entering this wendy’s drive thru and for no reason at all. Come here if you want to be harassed and search by the police without being given any reason. Management should be making a clear point to Nassau county police department that stopping and searching people in their drive thru for absolutely no explainable reason at all drives business away, i will not be eating here anymore because i feel my safety and liberty are at risk if i continue to buy food at the west hempstead wendy’s.
Ordered a meal. Asked for coffee. Woman made new coffee on top of old, causing pot to overflow. Manager said something to her. She deliberately coughed over my cup as she poured the coffee in, causing me to leave without accepting it. What can I say, now?

2022-05-05Its my 1st time here at this particular Wendys & I didnt have a good experience. I went to the drive thru and the girl serving the food was very disgusting. She rolled her eyes at me, dropped my change and food in my hand, no hi, bye, have a good day, nothing! How rude! She should find a job where shes not upfront dealing with customers smh.

2022-02-04Don’t order here food gets tiring after a while & sometimes they forget your drink. they make the food look sloppy. Also if they don’t have your drink they don’t give you nothing at all instead of substituting it for something else. They canceled my order since December 24, 2021 on door dash I never got my food. I’m still waiting for my refund!

2021-10-25I bought a baconator sandwich from here. Every other Wendy’s I go to this would be a bigger burger. I could go to McDonald’s and get a bigger sandwich for the price I paid for it.

It’s ridiculous because the delivery time was super long too, and how are you still going to not give me my MAIN item :| 0/10 would not recommend! save your money and happiness.
