Wonderful items and great selection. Love buying pretty accent pieces for my house. Sometimes stuff here get on the little more expensive side but definitely worth it. Great Place for 🏠 decor
My experience with this store has been hot and cold. many times i didnt want to return because of the lack of help and rudeness... a few months ago i decided to give it another try - i went in and when the rep realized i was there to spend a lot of money (couch, rug, end tables etc) he was extremely nice and helpful! i left feeling like the companys culture must of changed since the pandemic and they were trained to be nicer and friendlier! well im back to my original thoughts. this week i returned. first person who helped me had no clue how to answer my questions so i went over to the guy who originally helped me with the couch - since i wasnt looking for such a big purchase this time he was less thrilled and helpful. i had questions about accents for my couch and other items - he was condescendingand basically told me to look online! another girl also said look online - didnt check stock, didnt make suggestions like my visit a few months ago. well im taking their advice now - i will be shopping online or going to another store. its a shame because all my friends and family shop at this store and now well they wont. the people who work here need to lose their egos and attitude and care for their customers - could use that company culture training i thoguht they had after pandemic. too bad.
Great store and awesome furniture. michelle the manager is a gentleman. we placed an in store order. he allowed us to cancel next day and reorder. he got us additional discount, and fully kept in touch to let us know the delivery dates. very professional and highly recommend
Worst experience in a long time; seemed specific to the store and store staff...showed up to find a store representative ARGUING with a customer. Extremely condescending and unwilling to compromise and remained focused on HIS FEELINGS. The customer didn’t seem like a “pleasant” person however the representative (appeared to be the store manager) did not remotely convey customer service - focused on himself. I had to side step another store rep to get out of her way and no thank you. And MY OWN customer experience involved a huffy person who seemed put out because my return was difficult. She “instructed” me how to do it right the next time (wasn’t my fault anyway - phone reps false information). She may as well been in her bathrobe and fuzzy slippers - her affect was so poor. West Elm change your training overall and/or PURGE this location of its bad vibe!!!

West Elm is a terrible company to deal with. I spent more than $5,000 on their furniture in January 2017. In August, a problem developed in the sofa. I have called their customer service 5 times since August and they have still not called back to schedule the repair after 3 months (it is now Nov. 15, 2017). Every time we call, they say their repair department will call back within a week, but they never do. I have spoken to several managers, but they all deny responsibility. Shame on West Elm. My only option is to see them in court. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!! NOTE: My actual rating is 0 stars, but I was required to select at least 1 star to post,
Like the dining room furniture.the way they placed it, beautiful. Those towels, throws yummy . wish I could bargain the prices thats on the tags.. More customers, like me would be able 2 buy.
Poor customer service. Have had multiple instances where I left my information to be called back and there was no follow up whatsoever. It’s a shame because the merchandise is nice but it’s not worth the aggravation. Would not shop here.
Christina was great! Super helpful and offered her advice on pieces I was interested in within the store.
Called up to check on the delivery of an order that I place in-person at this store, and the sales rep was rude and completely unhelpful. Told me that she couldnt help me and that I should call their general customer service number because thats what she would have to do any way. I couldve ordered it online and saved myself the grief.

2022-06-07Went in really to browse with my pretty lady. The stuff here is nice, I can’t really speak to the value compared to tiger places but what I saw and felt seemed pretty top notch. Store was empty so I could browse with ease and this location is really easy to reach.

2022-03-31Very nice store in the Walt Whitman Mall. access is to the outside not within the mall (which is actually pretty good during Covid). very helpful staff but they dont have a lot of items in stock at the store

2022-08-04My wife and I recently bought a bed from this store. After a day or two the bed was squeaking so we called and were told wed receive an email and to respond with photos which we did. A day or two later at 2:30 in the morning I hear and feel a crash. The bed had broken. When I call the store they say theyd order a replacement and gave me a delivery date 4-24 days later and explained its usually somewhere in the middle. I explain to them my wife is pregnant and we cant go that long without a bed. Managers Stephen and Michelle did absolutely nothing to accomodate. Simply said there are protocols and processes in place that we have to follow Ive never experienced such poor customer service in my life.

2022-03-30They are the absolute worst! Do not order anything from this company. I even gave them two chances. I ordered two rugs and one was damaged. After spending a couple of days (an hour each conversation) they finally agreed to take back the damaged rug. The problem was they didnt refund me any of the money. That took several more long phone calls to resolve. I figured that must have been a fluke so I recently ordered two ottomans. I paid cash in the store. For some reason they put that cash on a gift card and when I canceled the order due to being backordered I can only get a gift card in return. There is always a problem with every single order. Learn from my mistake and stay away!

All the employees at this store go above and beyond to make their customers happy. I would highly recommend shopping at this store.

2018-01-28A really nice West Elm experience! Nice store - though not gigantic so you won’t find everything here, but overall it was a nice experience relative to West Elm in NYC. Just call ahead and check to make sure that the items you’re shopping for are on display. The only thing I didn’t get to see was TV/media consoles, but otherwise a good store.

2021-12-13Do not purchase furniture from west elm! I received my furniture completely wrong! A bed that had two of the same sides so it wasn’t able to be put together properly! My couch half the couch was down and half the couch was hard foam! Over 10K I spent in this store and I have been trying for over a month to get west elm to fix this situation and they don’t even care to get back to me! I am looking into it I can do anything about this legally.

2021-12-09Two stars because I generally like their design and the quality is reasonable for anything that is completed and made on the show floor (can be put in your car immediately). I do not recommend tables from them because myself and a number of friends had a bad experience with surface scratches from minimal use.Now if you are ordering furniture to be delivered, you must have heard about delays however it has gone to another level of a pure BAIT & SWITCH. I ordered a couch on Sep 3rd with the expectation of getting it by mid-November. In fact, I selected a vegan leather because the delivery timeframe was weeks before a standard leather order. A few weeks pass, then the timeframe moves back to early December. I called them and made it clear that I dont appreciate bait & switch as a customer and customer support told me that supply chain is like the weather and they have no control over it. The delivery date then moved back again to mid-December - first week of January. Nov. 24th (2 weeks after I was supposed to receive my item) I was billed the FULL AMOUNT on my credit card although I still have no couch from them. They said their corporate policy is to bill upon shipping from the factory. Now Im thrilled that they actually were able to scrape together the pieces to make the couch, which apparently float in and out of the factories like the weather, but its outrageous that I was billed thousands of dollars with NO PRODUCT delivered and NO FIRM DATE as to when it will be delivered. Unbelievable service from a brand that clearly has more business than they deserve.

2021-07-20Love all of their merchandise the model of a new home build we saw had all of West Elm drapery & it looked beautiful. Lucky me I caught a great sale & placed a large order. Cant wait to move in & hang them in every room there so light & airy just the right touch

2021-10-19RUN SCREAMING. My partner and I trusted the General Manager with our order. Massive mistake. He promised delivery weeks ago. They had no trouble charging us, but the delivery neither has arrived nor is even anywhere in their system. If you like being lied to, taken advantage of, and frankly ripped off, then enjoy West Elm Huntington. My attorney has the case now.
