While the Furniture is always beautiful battling it out with other shoppers could be a workout. deals are ok but it’s more about being lucky. Also, things sell as is so come with a truck (and a weapon). Kidding
This a great store for getting steep (40% off) discounts on West Elm furniture! Sounds great, right? :)Tl;dr - DO YOUR DUE DILIGENCE. Check your products for defects BEFORE buying. All sales here are FINAL.First of all, the staff here are very friendly and helpful, no questions asked. As this is a “warehouse style” outlet, you simply head into the store, browse the floor for something you want, and the first person to take a “ticket” for an item to the cash register gets it. The inventory is always rotating and updated based on what’s available (I was told this ranges from unsold product, to product that either had been returned or was never delivered for various reasons to whomever purchased it).That being said, I came here in hopes of buying a West Elm futon. To my surprise, the EXACT one I wanted was there! I was so happy! At 40% off it was a no brainer. I began the purchase process, but before making the final sale, I just wanted to double check the futon to ensure it was functioning properly. Thankfully I did, because the right side of the futon’s locking mechanism DID NOT work. The staff and I tried several times to figure out if this was a defect, or human error. Eventually we came to the conclusion that, yes, it was broken. So I cancelled the sale.What was surprising, however, was when I asked if it could be “fixed” by West Elm, the staff simply said “oh no, they won’t do that, this is being sold final sale.” So it is fair to say that West Elm is not sticking by the products they sell at this Outlet, at least from the conversations I had with their staff. The staff continued to allow the futon for sale, knowing full well the locking mechanism couldn’t be fixed (as west elm would not, and the locking mechanism is built into the futon, making it impossible to fix yourself without ruining the futon).So please be *extra careful* when buying at this outlet. Even though the prices are very good for West Elm, they are still very high for defective products. Just know that going in :).
Pretty dirty but sizable store. Goods are mostly damaged (thus the discount) but the price cuts aren’t that steep. Perhaps my expectations were too high as I’ve always had a great experience w/ the non-outlet stores, but I’m certain I wouldn’t visit this one again.
Found the perfect couch for a great price, the sales assistant Ashley couldn’t have been more helpful or friendly, she ensured the whole process was easy, fast and stress-free. Will definitely come back here for future purchases.
This place is a mess. More employees wrapping furniture than actual space to look at whats left in the store
NO stock, not even sheet sets. Very few items in store and in bad condition. The staff is beyond unhelpful and they dont answer the phone.Save yourself the trouble and take a trip to the Riverhead outlet, which is 1000% better.
Place is a joke... absolutely no stock and the staff focus hard on ignoring you compared to helping you because theyre barely any items to buy.

2021-10-04Bring measurements!! I did get a great couch and it barely could fit into the apartment. We got it in tho.Just wanted to say it will take you few times to visit since they bring new stuff on certain days and it’s sold very fast. Pricing is a bit confusing sometimes.

2022-05-09FALSE ADVERTISING FROM WEST ELM. NOTE: THE REVIEW IS NOT FOR THE STORE BUT THE MERCHANDIZE BOUGHT FROM WEST ELM ONLINE.I purchased Ashton outdoor dining table (its now advertised as Malfa Outdoor Rectangle Dining Table). I wont go into details of the long wait and a number of rescheduled deliveries, weve all heard about the supply chain issues and its all understandable. After it was delivered to us in the winter we were very excited to use the new outdoor table when the weather got warmer. After a few days of table sitting outside without any use we noticed white spots started to appear randomly. The table is black and the white spots are quite large in size and very visible! I wish I could attach the pics so you could visualize. Tried cleaning with a mild detergent per the instructions on the website but to no success.I reached out to East Elm customer service for further guidance. The response that I got was that we were not supposed to leave the item in direct sunlight for extended periods of time and are supposed to cover the item or bring it in when it is raining. Because the item was left outside uncovered during the rain, it would have caused warping, etc. which does mean this is not a defect as it was listed in our care instructions.So... this is advertised as OUTDOOR table. West Elm suggests 1. to bring a 120lbs table inside every time it rains?! 2. not to leave the item in direct sunlight whereas the pics on their website show this table outside in sunlight!This is clearly NOT AN OUTDOOR table and it became defective because it was outside! Of course, West Elm did not take any responsibility and instead let me know that I was not following their direction for the outdoor table that was clearly not meant to be used outside.Also, their strategy is handle situations like this that are frequent based on other reviews here is to apologize, apologize, apologize but really do nothing to remedy the situation.

2021-11-17Decent prices, however the customer service was all over the place. I had an interaction with one or two employees that were very positive. But the others not so much. As it was my first time in the store I had no idea how the outlet worked, as its different from regular west elm stores. 2 members of the staff where dismissive of my questions, as to how things worked, which was frustrating.Perhaps having a sign that explained purchasing would have been helpful.

2022-06-20West Elm outlet in industry city had a good variety of items from furniture to lighting to dish sets. I came in looking for decor pieces, left with a few minor items but will be back. The staff seemed friendly and helpful.

2021-12-17Customer service is all over the place. Its sad to not be taken seriously based on your appearance. I politely approached a sale associate with a simple question and he responded with a nasty attitude. I then went to the front desk and expressed my frustration to someone else - he was super helpful in answering all of my questions and explaining their tag policy. I ended up purchasing the table that I wanted. However, I do not suggest shopping at this location if you want to avoid being disrespected. It’s probably best to pay full price online and have it shipped to your residents without the hassle. I won’t be back.

2021-05-30Looking for a couch and was so happy I came here. I almost bought a couch online (I was checking out not only West Elm but other sites) but after coming here, I realized that you really need to sit on couches to feel what works for you especially as it will be your main piece of furniture (aside from beds). A couch that visually appealed to me when I walked in, as soon as I sat in it, I was like, nope, that will NOT work (too soft and too deep for my short legs). I I ended up getting another one, the Urban because of how comfortable it was. Staff was super kind, Dana especially and the older gentleman who works there; he carried this heavy ottoman up to the register. A great score was the ottoman was on sale for 75% off. An unbeatable value. Happy purchases indeed!

2021-09-08We visited to look k for a sectional sofa. There were several good pieces but all incomplete or partials. There were not many choices for a full sofa set and mostly everything was already on hold for delivery. We spoke to a lovely attendant who told us to visit on Wednesday at 10:30 am if we want to have first choice for any furniture.

2021-10-19Parking is horrible so be prepared for that (parking lot is either $15 or $20) , the store is such a hot mess and looks more like a warehouse for orders and not an outlet. Many things are broken and all over the place! Honestly it’s such a waste of a trip and they never answer the phone as well.
