Brad Wong and West Herr was PHENOMENAL! They took so much time making sure that my car had everything I wanted and nothing I didn’t need. Other dealerships in the area tried to sell me on every little thing; where as at West Herr, they listened to my interests and helped me get the perfect car in my price range. I brought in my wonderful Crosstrek for a 35k tune up. Frank was a gentleman and professional. He explained to me that West Herr does not have shuttle service on Saturday which meant that I had to wait for my car. Frank was very helpful in getting my car in and out in a very short amount of time. He explained everything and what also needed to be completed. The bill was straight forward and explained the reasons for paying $200+. Very pleased with the service.For about three visits for tune up appointments I noticed a Valve cap was missing from one tire. The tires were rotated at least three times and hopefully the pressure was checked but the technician missed replacing the valve cap. Reasons could be: too expensive, not needed, too busy to locate another one, don’t have the authority to replace it without customer approval? , too busy doing important stuff.I will have to stop at the auto store and get a valve cap. End of drama!!!
I just bought my first Forester and Gretchen was so helpful with the entire process! I cannot recommend West Herr enough. Buying a car can be a daunting process, but Gretchen helped make it as painless as possible and communicated with me the entire time. The whole staff was great while at the dealership walking through the different departments. Overall, I hope I dont have to buy another car anytime soon, but when I do, itll be with Gretchen!

Sean, Michael, Brian and the whole team were amazing from the moment I stepped on to their lot. With other places I had to ask a lot of questions and make conversation to get the information I needed, but Sean was transparent and open through the process. Not only did he have the car I was interested in ready to test drive before I arrived, he even had a similar one prepared as well (I ended up purchasing this one).I had gone to West Herr with a buddy of mine who had recommended checking them out because of his own positive experiences and I couldn’t have been happier. They worked around some of my own complications and worries and put my mind at ease through most of the process. I couldn’t recommend Sean and his team more!

I had a great experience buying my Kia at West Herr. Simon was my salesperson. He was very nice, and very helpful with all of the questions I had. He was available when my schedule was not very flexible. He even took one of my calls at 10:00am; an hour before his shift even started (sorry about that)! I leased An Outback from west herr Subaru in august of 2021, it was the easiest, smoothest purchase i could Have imagined. I live 2 hours away from the dealership, they did all the business with me over the phone/virtual then delivered the car to my house. The sales crew was a dream to work with and helped me with every step. The options for the car were limited but they were able to swap out with another dealership and get the color we really wanted. I cannot Say enough how pleased i am With the service. I just recently had the car serviced for the first time, which was also a breeze. They provided a loaner car for me and had my car done in a few hours. Superb dealership. I would Rate it 10/5 stars if i could
What you expect from your car dealer?A great deal?That’s good, but I just opens the door. It’s a one day deal.What you really need is for your car dealer to be there for years you will own that car.West Herr Subaru has always been there for me in ways other Western New York dealers have not.- Our ‘14 Forester had a rear hatch strut snap off. The hatch won’t open. I checked the online parts sites. No luck.-Ok call the dealer.-Wait a week to get in while my wife wouldn’tbe able to use her Forester- pay a couple hundred bucksBUT NO !!!West Herr Subaru was there for us !- they worked us in that day- AND they found our struts were covered byan extended Subaru warrantyOur car was fix in now time and for NO CHARGE!
I reached out to the dealership about a Mercedes ML350 that unfortunately was unavailable anymore. About a week went by and a salesman Dylan Kelly reached out to say that the car was available and asked if I’d like to come in to check it out. The car was perfect and Dylan helped me get into the car I wanted!! This place is so amazing Gretchen & the Finance sales Manager Brian our definitely the best they worked extremely hard to get me out of my Kia Forte & into my New to me GMC Canyon 4x4. The service was quick and Michael was professional. I was offered a car wash but my car was not washed when I received it. They used to go over tire tread and brake wear before handing you off to the cashier, now you just get handed off to the cashier. Not a deal breaker, but it gave past experiences a more personal touch. I received great shuttle service with Dave and Im glad West Herr offers this when I am unable to wait in the sitting area.
This is my 3rd lease from West Herr Subaru. There was a small problem when I went to pick up the car but my salesman Dylan did a fantastic job communicating what they were going to do to rectify the issue and within two days I took ownership my car. I’m very happy with my overall experience!

Everything went as smoothly as possible given the supply chain and other problems that made our process such a long one. We ordered on January 20, 2022, and picked up the car on May 21, 2022. Our sales man, Paul Naum, was always a pleasure to deal with. Clearly the dealership wanted to strike the best deal for themselves, but we never felt high pressure or deceptive tactics. Everything was above-board. Especially noteworthy was the time and attention I got from Paul when I picked up the car. This was not my father’s West Herr deal (I am talking 1960’s). Car are more complicated now and Paul’s extensive tutorial was needed and much appreciated!
I was notified from on star my rear sensors were not working properly and was always on. I called Elizabeth and was able to make an appointment for the next week. Elizabeth greeted me and went over the issues I had and she was to call me when the diagnosis was complete on my vehicle. To my surprise within 4 hours my vehicle was diagnosed, checked and test driven to be sure the sensors were working properly. I found out that ice or debris was making the sensors not work. The work was completed and I was done within the 4 hours! No charge, Thank you Elizabeth! I will always bring my vehicle theres for service when needed.

I brought my car in for a recall today and the process was simple! I walked into the service center, dropped off my keys, ran errands, got lunch and picked it back up. The job was done in 4 hours with no issues. Mike was very knowledgeable and helpful. He was able to answer my questions and I was greatly appreciative!
Didn’t buy my Forester here, but needed work done and wanted subaru specialists for the job. I cannot rave about my experience enough! Frank in service was so awesome…. extremely personable and didn’t make me feel some type of way about not knowing anything about cars. they gave me a loaner car for a few hours (which my dealership has never offered to do), the work was done super fast and they explained everything in great detail. pricing was also very fair. will return here for all my future servicing needs and definitely when i need to buy a new car. thanks west herr!!!

What was a routine oil change and tire rotation thanks to Elizabeth and her service department team found a serious safety concern with the tires. Frank was very condescending. He made me uncomfortable to be at West Herr. From the start he questioned why I didn’t know what type of tire was to be put on my car. Telling me I should have said something when I set up the appointment. Also made me feel like I was a crazy person for having the tire warranty. I told him to change the tire and worry about calling when the they opened. AN HOUR LATER he told me I have the warranty. When I asked why he didn’t change my tire he said so I wouldn’t be charged. I needed the tire regardless and he wasted more of my time. ALMOST AN HOUR AND HALF LATER he came in with a third lie and told me he needed tto get some type of verification code for the tire warranty. I waited close to 2.5 hours to have ONE tire changed. I watched the other service guy be pleasant with the other customers and what I got was a man talking down to me.
May 2021: Had such a pleasant and easy experience with Andrew S. at West Herr Subaru!He listened to what I was looking for, showed me multiple options within my budget and even had the car delivered to my apartment instead of making me drive all the way back!Ended up getting a very nice 2020 Subaru Forester with just under 11k miles, exactly what I was looking for!Update 7/2021: I needed a check engine light checked. When I called and told them the problem they got me in within a couple days! I managed to get the code read and the light turned off before bringing the vehicle in, but they still throughly checked out my vehicle and did their very best to ensure the issue was resolved. Completely covered by warranty! They even gave me a loaner vehicle so I could go to an appointment and to work that evening. Very very pleasant experience! So happy I purchased my car here!

I went to West Herr Subaru and worked with Paul on getting a car. Everyone there was very friendly and extremely accommodating. I’ve been to a lot of dealerships and Paul and Brian both were the only two people who really worked with me and tried their very hardest to find me a car that was in my budget during these times. I will 1000% be coming back to Paul for my next car and will be recommending him to all my friends and family.
Originally, I had gone to the Kia dealership for a look around. I was a previous Kia owner and needed a trade in for a vehicle that survives rural terrain. I was not disappointed. I was met by Hasan R. whom is a savvy, patient, knowledgeable, and personable salesperson! He was fantastic and now I am a very happy owner of a 2017 Kia Soul. In addition, I had a couple after purchasing concerns which were dealt with professionally by Mike L., Sales manager. Honestly, the anxiety of the experience has been replaced total satisfaction.
Made a 1pm appt for 6,000mi. Oil change, tire rotation and my brakes were making a grinding noise like they were bad. Waited there until 430....finally asked when my car would be ready and it wasnt even brought back yet to be worked on. Once this was brought to attention they were very quick to get me a loaner for the night and apologized and thanked me for my patience. That was smooth sailing and I was out of there quickly. The reason I gave 4 stars is only because I wish someone would have told me that at 1 when I got there I could have made some arrangements so my afternoon wasnt wasted in the waiting room of a car dealer. Frank was great! Remorseful and fast getting me out once I came back to pick my car up. I understand things can get crazy and those details fall through the cracks. All in all they did right by me and it was just a 3 hr wait 😂.

Todd and his crew took my car in as soon as I arrived. He made sure he understood my service needs. then he took me to the waiting area. The waiting room was clean and well equipped with comfort items and comfortable seating. The service on my vehicle was thorough and completed in a reasonable time. When the service was complete, he made sure I was satisfied and got me to the cashier.
My boyfriend and I were looking for a new lease and decided to stop in. We were helped by a woman named Abby Rojek and she was wonderful! She was very friendly and eager to get us in the vehicle we wanted. By the end of our visit we had signed a new lease on a crosstrek. Friendly & courteous staff. Dealt with the salesman Paul Naum. He was great, listened to what I wanted was honest about the issues facing the car market. He wasnt pushy and really worked with me to try and get a car within my budget. Subaru has stopped taking orders for new imprezas I was looking into. He let me test drive a used one to know if its what I wanted and let me test drive a crosstrek which is just the impreza lifted up. Didnt buy anything but will look to them first and will try to work with them first.

Low integrity dealership. I had a reservation for a car with them and they strung me along for as long as possible until cancelling my reservation. I had multiple interactions where they promised to honor the reservation. Would not believe a word they tell you

I had a great no pressure experience purchasing my Crosstrek from Paul M at WestHerr. He kept me up to date on when I could expect delivery. The delivery went very smoothly with Paul guiding me thru the paperwork, insurance and license plate transfers. I wouldnt hesitate to recommend talking with Paul if you are interested in a vehicle. I always work with Todd. They usually can get me in right away when an issue arises. They always call to let you know what is wrong and they give you the option of fixing it. They never really push unneeded services on you. I live in the Northtowns now and I will always prefer driving to Orchard Park to take my car here!

While Frank at service was amazing, parts was not. I called ahead for a quote for a clutch, was told that all the parts were in stock, by the parts department, and later that day, after towing my car in, Frank calls me to tell me that the parts department didnt have my parts and things were on back order. After having my car 10 days with no work done i had to move it to a new shop.

Bought a car from West Herr Kia. Check engine light was on within 2 weeks. The light goes off when the temp is about 35. Because of living 1.5 hours away it’s difficult to schedule an appointment with their hours without having to take off of work. I called to make and appointment, and since it’s warm, the lights off. They refuse to look at my car unless the light is on….so now I have to wait until winter?!
I somehow got rebar in two of my tires. Michael at West Herr Orchard Park in service was able to get me in right away and was able to patch my tires. Thank you Michael! Would recommend him for your car needs.

Chris Duffey at West Herr Subaru was amazing. You brace yourself going into a car dealer. It’s the part of a getting a new car everyone hates You have to prepare yourself mentally for the oncoming “pushy salesmen” and possibly not getting exactly what you want because you are forced into something else “they think would fit your lifestyle perfectly” And then you sit down with Chris and instead he listens to what you want and what you are looking for your new car to do for you. He made appropriate suggestions to help but was never pushy. I was undecided on exactly what I wanted I had it down to a few models. Chris helped to explain the differences and what each model had that the others didn’t and vice versa. When it came time to test drive Chris didn’t want to rush me or make me feel overwhelmed. Even though the models I was looking at were all new they were different brands which meant they were at different locations. Chris made sure I could test drive and get a feel for them to make me comfortable with my decision. Then came the finance part and talking numbers Chris made it the least stressful process ever, he made sure I was comfortable with what my payment was going to be. When I asked for a certain color and trim level combo that the dealership didn’t have on the lot he made sure to get on the hunt to make sure it was found for me. This process was the most enjoyable car buying process I have ever experienced That was my experience with Chris Duffey at West Herr Subaru! Recommendations have already been made to friends and family to go see chris when the time comes! Although I am absolutely loving my new car I know I’ll be going back and can’t wait to have Chris help me again!

Had breaks done and a rattle under the back of the car. West Herr replaced the brakes and secured the 2 straps under the car that the bolts had rusted and were hanging. Great job. All is good now.
Went there to look at a Kia sorento I had seen on website -- took it for a ride -- worked out the details with Gretchen Peterson and her boss and paid for it that day. Went to pick it up a day later and everything was Great -- Kia was all detailed and ready for me to go. I would definitely buy there again.

Todd was very helpful. We had to order a new part, but communication with the dealership was great and my car was fixed quickly.
I went to have my car looked at for a check engine light. I waited about 45 mins. And then they came and told me what was wrong. They gave me a brand new car to borrow and they had it fixed the next day. I couldnt have asked for nicer people and I would recommend them to everyone.
Franks customer service went above and beyond. He was exceptionally helpful throughout the entire process and went above and beyond to help me get the best price possible for the extensive repair my car required.
Dont ever go here unless you want to be ripped off. The price they were charging me for the work was already outrageous but I needed it done. They charged me 200 dollars more than what they quoted. I am never ever setting foot in here again and I implore you to rethink if you do. A complete rip off with a smile on their face as they do it. What a joke.

Lindsey was knowledgeable, friendly and patient with me when I was choosing a vehicle. I test drove multiple vehicles over a few months before I was ready to make a decision. The West Herr experience is always pretty great. I had my first leased vehicle and only a vague idea of what to expect at the end of the lease. Sam called me five months before my lease was up and was extremely knowledgeable about all options. Also, he knew that to get a new vehicle, it had to be ordered well in advance. Who knew?! Everything worked out perfectly in terms of Sam doing exactly what he said he would do every step of the way. Sam worked very well with the finance manager, Jon, to give me a great deal. This is the seventh vehicle that I have gotten from West Herr and I will keep coming back, as well as telling everyone I know they should go to West Herr because of people like Sam who work there!GO BILLS!

I grew up in the Buffalo area but have been away now for over a decade. Not too long ago, I was granted the ability to move out to Buffalo and work remotely for my current NYC based employer. Now it seems like most of the people I grew up with got their first cars much sooner than me, but the upside of getting your first car at 30 is.....GREAT CREDIT! WooOo no starter car for this guy. This thrilling moment of excess resulted in me looking for something a bit more specific. Luckily, Michael Decarlo and the West Herr team were there to help bring it all to life.My situation was a little unique since I was actively planning a move and not entirely situated in Buffalo yet. I was in town from NYC for just Memorial day weekend and wanted to get a car AND apartment nailed down. Wild. Family members had given me Michaels number, who ended up being very pleasant to deal with over the phone, and when I finally met him in person. Michael made the process welcoming, smooth, and generally excellent. I had a great experience trading in my used car and getting a bigger vehicle. My salesman was Aaron Luterek. Aaron was very professional, and treated me with care. He made looking at vehicles and test driving them easy and painless. He was understanding in what I wanted. Signing paperwork and going over small details was easy and fast. He bought my son chips out of the vending machine while we waited, which was very kind. Although Aaron is younger he knew what he was doing and very friendly. All in all it was fine.I went in for a simple oil change and they were not busy that day, I booked my appointment online, and I also requested a complimentary car wash. I was told at check in that they had the time and when I was cashed out was told that my car had been washed....I found my car it was not washed. Not really a big deal, but maybe next time they will. I always have a good experience at West Herr Subaru 99.9% of the time. :). Great Coffee in the waiting room...Go Bills!

My 2013 Subaru was long overdue for a service and a few things were not working correctly. I left it with West Herr over the weekend because there was a part they had to ship. They gave me a loaner Outback, which was cool, and called me on Tuesday when my car was ready. Everyone was very friendly and they had clearly thought through all their social distancing measures for Covid in the waiting room and office.
I almost always wait for my car when getting service work done at the dealership. The past few experiences have been completed within the estimated time frames and the service representatives and technicians have gone above and beyond to make sure my car was is good shape for travel. Elizabeth always takes time to explain and answer any questions or concerns I have before I leave as well.
Second time buying a car from Alicia and now she’s fully my ride or die b***h. Heck yes she was all over the place getting biz done even though she’s carrying a front load of baby around in her belly. And I’ll tell you, there’s not a man alive who could do this and not complain while holding all his multi-tasks together like this woman. Super clean shop. Love the way they stagger an experienced tech with a guy that is newer in the next service bay. That way the experienced guy is there to help and answer any questions. I brought my car in for an oil change and inspection, I also mentioned I might need new tires. Frank took the time to go out and inspect my tires. They were definitely due for changing. We discussed several options and he helped me get the most bang for my buck. To top it off, there was a rebate available! My Forester feels noticeably better while driving. I’m very pleased with my visit!

Great customer service. I was greeted upon my arrive and Introduced to my service manager. He explained what needed to be done to my vehicle and how long it would take the. He escorted me to the waiting room. The car was ready faster then anticipated and they even took it through the car wash. The folks at West Herr were amazing! I had been contacted by someone from west herr after going through the subaru website and building a vehicle. I ended up on the west herr site and was looking through their selection when a few in particular caught my eye. I responded to the email from kirsten and was able to go in that day to look at the few I had picked out. My salesman was Charles- He was the best! He was not pushy, and you could tell that he really held the same values as subaru does. He was also very easy to reach at any time of day, for additional details or questions. I had never actually bought my own car before and he shared in my excitement and was ready to make it happen, helping me figure out what I would need and everything. When it came time to do the deal, because of scheduling, I wasnt able to make it until 7pm, and it took a while to get everything in order - dealing with the financing and all the paperwork, we ended up there after closing time. Once papers were signed and the deal was done he came out to help me pair my phone and show me the cars other features. Thats great customer service!Could not have had a better experience anywhere else and I will recommend West Herr to everyone I know!I will also add that I got an amazing deal on the car with no negotiating necessary.

I needed to have a Starlink upgrade done on my Forester and it was the easiest thing to do. Made my appointment online and picked when I wanted to go. The service department contacted me and let me know it was going to take several hours and it would be too long to wait there. They gave me a couple of options where they would drive me home, or give me a loaner. It was so easy and painless. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Thank you to everyone there that gave me such good service.I recently purchased my Subaru Forester 2 weeks ago. From the minute I test drove it I knew it was the vehicle for me. Charles Hewitt was my sales representative. He kept mentioning that he wanted to make sure that I felt this was the vehicle for me. He let me test drive another vehicle that I was interested in, and that helped me to know, this was what I wanted. I always hate looking for a vehicle, but this time it was a very easy process. I really didnt have much to do, Charles did most of it and guided me on what i needed to do. Im very happy with the process and I love my Forester...ready for the snow now 🙂

I recently traded in my 2015 Jeep Wrangler Sahara Unlimited for the 2021 Subaru Forester Sport at West Herr Subaru. This has been the best car dealership I have ever worked with hands down. Compared to my first dealership where I bought my Wrangler, this was an insane difference in various aspects. They made the entire process so easy for me, gave me an insanely fair trade back for my previous vehicle, and they also made everything crystal clear as to what I was getting and paying for. Justin M. was who I worked with at the dealership and he was amazing. They didn’t BS me with anything like most dealerships do. I am so satisfied with the vehicle, how smooth this process was, their assistance and generosity. This dealership is so well organized and put together, it’s classy and clean, & the employees are also super helpful and friendly. This was my first time buying a car and West Herr Subaru made it a breeze. I made my purchase around the end of the year/holiday craze. Sean Brand was my salesperson, he was incredibly patient and down-to-earth. They helped find a price that would fit our budget and even dug up a used 2016 Subaru Crosstrek with only 11,000 miles on it! I certainly recommend purchasing a Subaru, they are reasonably priced and reliable. If you are looking to pick one up and live in the Buffalo area, West Herr Subaru is the best dealership to make your purchase!

2021-09-15I purchased a Subaru Forester today from you guys and I have to say that Sean Brand has been the best salesman Ive encountered in my many prior vehicle purchases. He listens to you needs and gives suggestions and options within your budget without feeling like they are pushing you beyond what you can afford. He let me test drive multiple vehicles and allowed me to take the one I liked home for a day to let my wife see it in person! The process and paper work was very easy to understand and they are very upfront and honest about the costs - there were no “hidden fees” I was not aware about. Everyone I encountered from reception to finance guys, they are all friendly and make you get excited about your new vehicle. I HIGHLY recommend going to Sean for your Subaru needs. 2022-01-25Gretchen was an absolute gem!! I was in need of a good durable car that would get me through the winters of Western New York, and she delivered! I was on a bit of a time crunch because I was starting a new job, and she worked hard at finding me the perfect Subaru that checked all my boxes, as far as needs and wants. I never felt pressured, or that she was trying to get me in and out without a care…she seemed to really understand my circumstances, and wanted to help as best she could. She was incredibly insightful, knowledgeable, and made sure to steer me in the best direction based on what I envisioned my next car to be. 2022-06-25I always feel well taken care of by West Here Subaru! I recently had an issue with my car that was possibly not going to be covered by my warranty - they did everything they could to get it paid for. Between Subaru of America and West Herr I didn’t have to pay a penny and they also provided me with a loaner car (which was even nicer and newer than my car) for almost 2 weeks while the issue was sorted. I felt confident the entire time that they would resolve my issue for me and they did. Todd did an excellent job communicating with me and making me feel comfortable through the process. Highly recommend them!

2022-04-12My experience today with Todd and his team in the service department at West Herr Subaru was outstanding. I had my car in for an oil change and my inspection. I also needed work done on the hatch in the back. it was not under warranty. Todd was able to work it out that I did not have to pay the full amount and it was greatly appreciated. 2022-04-19I am absolutely elated with the service I received here! When I called about that perfect car I saw online and wanted to check out as soon as possible, Paul M. was able to see me within the hour. He took fantastic care of me and went above and beyond to make sure I really liked the car and could take it home that day.As he and Brian took time to explain different options to me, nowhere in the process did I ever feel like I was pushed into anything I didnt want or need.Paul made sure to explain all of the paperwork in detail so as not to blindside me with any fees and he really took the time to answer any weird questions that I have and worked with me on my requests. Seriously, I kept him there really late and forgot my checkbook at home, so he was patient enough to come grab the check with me afterwards so I can still have the car that day. He really went out if his way for me.I would wholeheartedly recommend working with him and with West Herr Subaru in general. Everyone there was super friendly.

She was extremely thorough, efficient, and knowledgeable. Ive bought a few vehicles from West Here over the years, and while all my experiences were great, this was the best. I worked with Gretchen Peterson and she was awesome!I went in with a huge truck payment I told her I needed a way to get a new car and drop my payment and she exceeded expectation! She put me in a brand new Subaru and dropped my payment right into where I needed it to be.She took the time to walk me through each and every step in the process and adapted to my special circumstances ( living out of state).I highly recommend taking your business to West Herr Subaru and do yourself a favor and ask for Gretchen!
