I was traveling to my sons wedding and had made Mason jars for the rehearsal dinner and needed flowers. By chance I found the Westbury florist. Not only did I find the exact flowers that I wanted but they made up the jars for me in about 20 minutes. 6 days later and back in NJ I am still enjoying the flowers!!! Cant thank them enough!!
This Florist is a life saver. She was more than capable in putting together a bouquet last minute and made great recommendations. Her portfolio is also something to marvel at and recommend those planning a special occasion to check them out
I ordered for same day delivery.The flowers were delivered before I came home from work, I bought them as appreciation to my wife for all shes doing with the kids and home.
A friend from out-of-state purchased a wedding gift basket for me from here that was littered with overripe and moldy fruits as well as stale cookies. Im extremely disappointed on her behalf, not to mention I am currently pregnant and am very careful with what I eat so I tossed most of it. Horrible food products. This is not a review of flowers, which are perhaps great! But dont offer a service for which you cannot deliver. My mother-in-law who loves fruits was disturbed by the extremely poor quality as well.
I found Westbury Floral Designs through a Google search for top rated florists in Westbury and East Meadow. As I live in Nashville, Tennessee, I was at a loss for a place to use to send flowers to a friend in East Meadow. I am so glad I chose Westbury Floral Designs. The flowers arrived bright and early in the morning and are perfect! Just as pictured on the website and my friend loved them. She sent a picture so I could see them. I feel they also provide a great value for the money. Very reasonable! I will certainly use them again.
I came in for a arrangement for my wife, the complete disorganization and unprofessional shop ever ever experienced!! dont support this shop, there are two shops within 2 block radius I strongly recommend Carolls, the owner and Staff are very respectful and accommodating especially grateful for your Buisness whether its for a $30 bouquet or $200 arrangement!. Westbury flower shop owner is rude and unprofessional . workers dont speak English, or its a young kid clueless how to run a flower shop. Dont waste your time or money with this unprofessional & rude owner lea!
Valentines Day me and my daughter received flowers from Westbury florist, they were just gorgeous! Absolutely stunning every time I get flowers from them I know it’s going to be perky, happy and they last for a week!!! I really just feel like they go that extra mile for a smile!! The quality and freshness is always perfect. You can tell the florist really takes pride in making their arrangements. I love the special touches too of a butterfly or small bird stem to make it unique. Definitely my go to florist.

We held our wedding on a recent Sunday at Alger House and had the pleasure of working with Lia at Westbury Floral Designs. She was the first one to respond when I contacted several florists. I wanted to keep my budget low but had specific ideas I was working with. She was extremely accommodating to my needs and supplied me with a detailed proposal, which we were able to merge together to make my ideas come true.My initial concern was that the florist was located in Long Island, but the fact that Lia had previously worked with Alger House put me at ease. She was always in touch, especially in the final week, e-mailing and calling me to discuss final details to ensure that she would be there on our special day.She created wonderful alter pieces with a cascading design, which provided a beautiful background for our ceremony. My bouquet was studded with fall-inspired colors which was seasonally appropriate and gorgeous. Lias suggestions to include colors and flowers based on availability that week turned out perfectly. Our aisle markers were simple yet exactly how I envisioned them.Lia delivered the flowers on time and decorated swiftly and with care. Even though I had limited funds and limited orders, she respected my needs and provided gorgeous arrangements within my budget.I received many compliments on the arrangements and the fresh flowers, which I took home to enjoy for many days following our wedding.Thank you, Lia, for providing us with such beautiful flowers to celebrate our big day!
What a disaster !!! Lia is despicable human being. Horrible business owner! Location was started 23 years ago when Lia and Tracy took over 8 years ago it rapidly declined. On a personal note she is not a nice woman on a business note she is HORRIBLE!
Lia is completely unprofessional, she has no common respect for customers yet alone her staff. Orders will be promised on time and will be hours late, always claims it’s her website error when in reality it’s her own disorganized mistakes. She’s completely fake and isn’t out for anyones best interest but her own. Don’t waste your money on her flowers they aren’t properly maintained or fresh. God forbid you show any type of dissatisfaction she will completely blow you off. Extremely horrible experience working with her. She maybe needs to seperate her romantic life from her buisness it’s clearly not working out for her buisness. Shameful and completely disappointing!!! Beware of the witch!!!
I have been ordering flowers through Westbury Florist Inc for 25 years now. My father is buried in Holy Rood Cemetery nearby and I am a Florida resident. Lia is absolutely wonderful! she always recommends the perfect flowers for each season and decorates his plot perfectly. I receive a picture via text with each order completion. When my employer passed away suddenly, the office contacted Tracy and Lia who helped us create a beautiful basket of white flowers. Everyone was so pleased with the selection of the flowers and quality of the arrangement. And when my family needed a number of arrangements for my mother-in-lawss funeral, Tracy and Lia were so helpful to us. Called to have flowers sent to my wifes office in celebration of our wedding anniversary. The lady I spoke with was very friendly, helpful and quick in retaining the information needed allowing me to place the order while at work. My wide adored the green orchids and the rest of the flower arrangement, which for the price was more extravagant than I imagined. I live out of town and send flowers to my mom often. The florist I normally use was closed so I called Westbury Florist. Lea was most accommodating, helpful and knowledgeable. Happy with the service. Just had to wait for final word from the judge.. mom is quite DISCERNING about her flowers so I was delighted when she called beaming about her Gorgeous, beautiful, beautiful arrangement. I came to Westbury Floral Design while planning for my summer wedding. Lia was very sweet and accommodating, and Tracy always stepped in and helped out when Lia was away. Lia outlined a quote that fit my budget and set up a meeting with me to show me some possible arrangements before I even committed. I wanted a very specific flower (parrot tulips) and Lia made sure to order them in time from Holland, and had great suggestions on other types of flowers to include in the arrangements. She was also so patient with me as I had a lot of questions and requests. The flowers were beautiful on the actual day, the only thing was that they drooped quickly (but that was due to the summer heat). My bouquet stood up very well and a lot of guests complimented the beautiful flowers! Thank you Lia and Tracy!

My original florist told me that he could not get the flowers I needed a week before my wedding. I went to Westbury Florist in tears to see if they could help. Lia was amazing. She reached out to her wholesaler and was able to deliver the out of season flowers in the bouquet I had envisioned. Extraordinary customer service. I will not go anywhere else for any occasion.
Had the best experience with this florist. Tracy was awesome and helped me pull off a surprise for a friend. My friend and I were going to see the movie It. To set the mood for the evening, I wanted a small floral arrangement with a red helium balloon delivered to the restaurant we were eating at. As we entered the restaurant, I could see the red balloon floating above the table. As we walked towards the table my friend saw the balloon and turned to me. The look on her face was priceless! Thanks so much for the lovely arrangement and for being so accommodating. Tracys genuine enthusiasm for my surprise was an added bonus! I highly recommend this florist.

I only visit this place twice a year but everyone had always been extremely pleasant and helpful. If you are picking up flowers for your someone I recommend knowing there favorite colors and have a price range in mind. The staff will handle the rest! $25-40 is a solid bouquet for most occasions. If you know their favorite flowers, even better.

Lia made beautiful centerpiece arrangements for my August wedding at Chateau Briand. She created a lovely bouquet of red roses for myself, corsages and flowers for the groomsmen as well as well as decorated my wedding cake with fresh flowers. She worked with my budget and offered options that would be lovely yet affordable. She delivered my bouquet to me herself.
My uncle has been using Westbury Floral Designs for over over 20 years to put flowers at my Great-Grandma & Pops cemetery for my grandmother. Hes not very computer savvy but feels so strongly about writing a positive review for them, that he asked me to do it for him. There was a woman who owned Westbury Flo named Linda, very nice woman, a real people’s person. I retained her as my florist one week before the two took over. The two, Leah and Tracy that run the place now are extremely rude, nasty. First off, they are trying to run this place as if they it were located out in the Hamptons somewhere. The both of them need to step off of the plane that flew them in and visit earth for a moment, you are located in Westbury, NY. The work is mediocre, nothing more or less than you would receive from any other local florist. If you are a bride on a budget, Leah will keep reminding you that your are less than “Your Majesty”. She will constantly compare you to the weddings she did for “Queen Elizabeth”. These women operate like machines, they will take on your event as though they care, but are extremely cold and concerned with numbers only! Do not fall for Leah’s line “When a bride gets married, we get married with them”. I phoned her after my (small) wedding to simply to tell her I had no problems with her final creation, but wanted to make her aware that I paid for my husband to have a Calla Lilly Boutonniere so that he could stand out from the groomsmen who wore red roses. I did not want a refund and my only agenda was to make her aware of this. She snapped at me yelling and screaming “she doesn’t know what I was talking about” also “what type of bride pays for her flowers at the last minute anyway”. Last minute to her was three days before my wedding for an order (where she received more than half of a deposit in advance) of 8 single stem roses and 9 Boutonnieres!!! Even after I apologized and explained to her how sorry I was and how I had been so busy being a bride, also how my wedding planner backed out on me last minute with an emergency….She also hung up on me. Very hurtful experience from something which was only intended to be friendly follow up call. Please Brides, from one bride to another, whether you are on a budget, or have a little more to splurge….. choose a florist that is friendly, respectful and personal. Every moment that leads up to your special day should be special. Don’t be fooled and Congrats!!
Just over a year ago, I was on the way home and decided to buy a flower for a first date. Lea was extremely helpful and even had this gorgeous orchid that she made up for it. Fast-forward over a year now, Ive purchased over 10 orchid arrangements from Lea and Tracy and they have been nothing but spectacular. Their deliveries are timely and professional. Apparently, she is the envy at work because of the arrangements that Lea and Tracy deliver. I will never go to another florist! Highly recommended.

We just used Westbury Floral Design for a college graduation luncheon celebration and couldnt be happier. My flowers were black (Dark Purple) calla lilies and green cymbidium orchids as well as tall stem white calla lilies. I live in California and needed a funeral arrangement delivered in Westbury, NY. The arrangement was really nice; the family texted me with a picture and said everyone loved it! Im very happy with Westbury Florist. I paid about the mid-range for this type arrangement; the range was quoted over the phone to me.
I called the owner yesterday to have flowers delivered. Flowers were delivered early this morning and it was an exceptional bouquet! This florist is very efficient, prompt and takes their customers requests very serious. I highly recommend them!
Went to this florist because I had been at the shop when Linda was the owner. Lia and Tracy really dont know how to deal with people. I ordered a corsage and boutonniere and on the day of pickup was informed that the size roses I wanted didnt come in. At the store Lia was extremely rude telling me I was being unreasonable and the she knew I would be trouble. After she screamed at me, I told her I wanted my deposit back, which she then took out of the register and threw at me. Dont patronize this business.
In 1915 I was searching Google for a florist in the Jericho, NY area. Since I live in Massachusetts and was sending flowers to a special friend, my choice would be important. I was lucky enough Westbury Floral Design. My friend was delighted and so was I. Last month I had the sad task of sending a funeral arrangement to another very dear friend in the area. Naturally, I again contacted the wonderful people at Westbury Floral Design. we worked together to design a beautiful arrangement featuring my friends favorite flowers. I was planning my trip for the services when I was suddenly hospitalized, unable to make the trip to NY> I contacted the staff at Westbury and asked if they could deliver a message to her son for me, wihich they were happy to do, and then sent me pictures of the flowers with best wishes for my recovery. I have dealt with many florists over the years but have never found a more caring and talented group of people. I only wish I lived closer so that I could drop in for a visit.
Had a wonderful experience with the Westbury Florist when a good friend was rushed to Winthrop Hospital for internal problems. Westbury Florist sent a bouquet of GORGEOUS roses (red, white & lavender) and delivered then within one day. My friends was ecstatic!! Talks about the flowers whenever she gets the opportunity. 2021-12-01Lia was absolutely amazing! She continuously texted me in the months leading up to my wedding to go over any changes I wanted. She contacted me the days prior to show me my centerpieces and ensure I loved every detail. And the day of my wedding everything was perfection! She was with me for hours making sure everything was set up correctly as we transitioned from ceremony to reception. I got so many compliments, pictures don’t even do it justice. All the pictures here were actually taken by her! She was very invested in my event. It was even the small details like the “good morning my beautiful bride” text that made Lia truly feel like part of my day. She also gave me the most reasonable price around and I mean no one could compare to the amount of florals and services she provided for the cost. I would recommend her to any Long Island bride.

From my initial call I know my order is being handles with great care. 2022-05-28Lia did a phenomenal job with our wedding flowers. Despite pushing back our wedding twice due to COVID, Lia maintained her professionalism throughout and was flexible talking through options and ideas with us. The end product was even more beautiful than we could have ever dreamed! Our guests approached us multiple times to let us know that the floral arrangements were the nicest they’ve seen and were so excited to take them home at the end of the evening. The next day, guests continued to texts us photos of the flowers as they (and we!) all thought our venue was perfectly decorated! What was especially nice was how Lia personally ensured all flowers were exactly to my liking and that I was happy, sending me plenty of photos along the way to ensure she was on the right track. 2022-03-24Westbury Florist and Lia were fabulous to work with. We were a CoVid couple with shifting dates and venues over a 2 year period. Lia was very easy to work with. We ultimately married in our living room with a reception at my husband’s daughter’s home next door.The flower arrangements were all adjusted to fit the new spaces. They were just beautiful and romantic. We could not have been any happier.We highly recommend Westbury Florist.

2022-06-23I called the florist on Monday to find out if they could order baby roses for a corsage for my son’s girlfriend for the prom on Wednesday They told me they would be able to order any color . I them called and asked his girlfriend what she would like and went to the florist in person to place the order. I requested 3 baby roses in white and 3 baby roses in red . They then stated that they would have to check to see if they could get them after telling me over the phone it would not be a problem. I paid for the corsage and left my number incase there was any issue getting them in . She stated not to worry she would call me if there was a problem and for him to pick it up Wednesday at 11am. When he got there at 12:00 the corsage wasn’t ready. He had to come back and get it. When he picked it up they made it with 3 baby red roses and 3 regular size roses . The corsage looked ridiculous but my son didn’t say anything because he was short on time since it was suppose to be ready at 11 and wasn’t . When he got home and showed it to me I was very upset but had no time to have it corrected. He ended up having to give her the corsage as is. It was way too big for her wrist as I expected it would be. I am truly disappointed and will probably never use them again. They should have called me when they realized they didn’t get the baby roses in instead of just using the regular ones not thinking I wasn’t going to realize it. We could have made a smaller corsage that would have looked beautiful.

2019-07-23Traci was amazing. She worked with us to design bouquets for my sisters 50th birthday. We told her what we wanted to spend and delivered 3 beautiful pieces. It was so easy dealing with Westbury Florist. The flowers were delivered and set up before the party started. Can’t wait to see our wedding pieces in July. Definitely go there.Westbury florist really delivered. When I began shopping for wedding arrangements it was overwhelming. Westbury florist put all that aside. They made a sample arrangement for me before I even entered the shop. When I wanted a change they showed it to me a different way. They even made a sample Bride bouquet. They were always a pleasure to work with. They even delivered the flowers with a hug. I would highly recommend them. They treat you like a person, not just another job. Ive used them for my sisters party as well

2021-11-04Lia at Westbury Florist made my sunflower dreams come true! She was very personable and easy to work with. She tried out a lot of different options for me so I could have exactly what I envisioned. The day of she was right on time, made sure everything was how I wanted it and took beautiful pictures for me of everything as well. Small, friendly operation - would definitely recommend!

2022-04-14Its a beautiful place with wonderful people working there and theyre willing to work with whatever you want! Its your mark and they carry our bereavement cards from dreamin of angels... Cards on sticks that are weatherproof are weather proof and you can write on them inside whatever you would libe would like.
