This was a nice venue. It is an old manor house, with a storied past connected to Horse racing. It has a beautiful interior, with quality woodworking. The staff was pleasant and the food was delicious and enjoyable. A nice setting for a wedding and/or reception, possibly other events as well. There were multiple parties while we were there, but were comfortably separated.
The westbury manor made my daughter and son-in-law have the “best day of our lives.” 10 being the best, it is a 10 plus plus plus. What a delightful experience . All the guests said it was the best wedding they ever attended. The food, the decor and service was beyond fabulous. Everything was seamless!!!!! Ian, Sandra, Jerry and the operations manager are just perfect and responsive in every way. The grounds are totally gorgeous. Everyone loved having the cocktail and ceremony outside. The food was absolutely delicious !!!!! People were raving!!!!!!! The flowers that are Everywhere are incredible. Anytime I wanted to reach anyone there , I was able to. Kelly, my daughter’s bridal attendant, was so helpful. This was the best day ever. I wish you all the very best od luck with your events!!!!! Thank you so much Westbury Manor , Ian, Sandra, Jerry, operations manager, receptionist and the list goes on. You are all like family. We love you xoxoxox
As a vendor in the wedding industry I cannot say enough good things about this venue! I just had an event here on New Years Eve and they blew me away with their spectacular service and good food! I missed dinner due to reception events and they went in the back and got me a hot meal much after dinner was over! Phil was the attendant to the wedding and he was hands down the savior of the day…extremely Helpful and prepared with everything, friendly, and on top of everyone and everything, he made the day so great for the couple and everyone involved!! I had to write a review because the service was that exceptional and in 8 years of photographing events I have never had a venue cater to a couple and their vendors so well!! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
I had a baby shower event this month, I have to say Westbury Manor was the best decision I made! From start to finish every employee was a pleasure to work with. “Mike” the office manager who set dates, room tour, times etc. made it simple and easy. Great personality, great communication and responds quickly to emails. He made my decision super easy to why choose Westbury Manor over any other. Fast forward the day of drop off “ items for party” I’m awful with names but I met 2 days on the first floor on different days both super sweet and great personality along with the Greek guy super friendly offered cappuccino just for drop offs talk about experience this was it! They were all so nice I was hoping they were here for the day of the party cause I knew when my guess strut it would be organized and pleasant entry! Now fast forward to party day! Best team at westbury manor “Phil” he was assigned to me as matra dee! He kept me + my team calm throughout the set up process. He was there every step of the way. There was a young lady also with him I did forget her name I apologize but she was right there also smiling the entire time with calm. This was a big set up! They both were wonderful. Phil was so friendly and calm he listened carefully and shared ideas to make things work! Phil and team specifically the sweet girl with him helped decorate clear room of boxes just made everything less stress. I received so many compliments about Phil and his team how great they were throughout the party. Phil made sure things were organized even when it got overwhelming while guest were arriving and gifts and seating Phil was right there and would say don’t worry I’ll take care of it! He made this day so exceptionally amazing. I want to hire him myself for a summer party! The food, appetizers were all perfect my guest were just appalled by every detailed it was a great success. This has to be long cause it’s important to know what your paying for and communication details service is right here! Mike+ Phil + sweet girl+ Greek guy+ 2 ladies at front desk made our experience and guest exceptional! Phil also captured one of the most amazing moments with a sweet song for this important day that I had my Dj use for the mom to be as she walked through the doors! A memory we will have captured forever thank you Phil!
One word to describe our experience at Westbury Manor, AMAZING! We were fortunate to have an absolutely perfect June day- high 70s, clear skies and blossoming flowers all around. Our guests absolutely loved the gardens to roam freely and the multiple manor rooms so that kids can also run around and enjoy the space. The nice thing about this venue for weddings, we were the only event on the location during the day. George was our matte d’ and was super helpful. Dilcia was my bridal attendant and deserves her own A++ rating. She went above and beyond. She was beside me all day and helped with everything and anything I needed. When I got some mud on the bottom of my dress during pictures and had a minor freak out, she was there with a bottle of club soda and multiple cloth napkins. Somehow able to get almost all of it out without any soap. As soon as she saw that our drinks were low, before we even had to ask, there she was with another one. She added so much to the day. The food was delicious as we knew it would be and multiple family members and friends said it was the nicest wedding they had been to. I would 100% recommend Westbury Manor to any bride/couple.
This venue is incredibly beautiful. This past Friday I had the honor and pleasure of celebrating my brothers wedding at this extraordinary venue. The staff was knowledgeable, pleasant, professional, and completely dedicated to providing a world class experience. The food that was served to s from the cocktail hour straight through the main course was perfectly prepared, delicious, and beautifully presented. There are few words that could come close to describing what a beautiful and positive experience this was for the bride and groom, the bridal party, and our 135 guests. I cant imagine a better experience being possible. A special mention for our maitred Phil, who was personable, professional, helpful, and fun. Thank you to the entire staff for making this a memorable day for us.
We held a baby shower this past Saturday at the Westbury Manor. It was totally perfect in every way. The decor, food, and service were extraordinary. Our maitre d Phil was absolutely wonderful. From the moment we arrived, he was so attentive and handled every detail for us. His team was just as great. All of our guests kept complimenting us on how beautiful the place was and how delicious the food tasted. I highly recommend this venue for all of your celebratory occasions.

I rented some of Westbury Manor for a film shoot and it could not have been better. One of our best productions ever. Jerry and his staff took immensely good care of my team and they helped make it a success. The space is gorgeous and the staff is efficient and caring. We all hope to return.

Our wedding at Westbury Manor surpassed all of our expectations. From the moment we arrived our maitre d Phil and our bridal attendants Kelly and Angie made us feel calm and helped us enjoy every aspect of our event. Phil even took the time to place extra flowers on our cake and the bridal attendants helped my wife with everything from helping with her dress during pictures to even assisting her with changing her shoes. All three of them made sure that we enjoyed food both during the cocktail hour and the reception. All of our guests have raved about the food, the ambience and the incredible service we received at Westbury Manor. Great venue for a wedding! They have indoor and outdoor sites for the cocktail hour and service, the weather was beautiful and the ceremony had plenty of shade in the evening. The gardens are very well kept and the koi pond is a nice touch. Highly recommend!

We got married at Westbury Manor on 2/20/22 and couldn’t be happier with how everything went. From the first meeting all the way until the last minute of the party, I felt so confident that the team at Westbury could take care of anything. We had a lot of religious aspects incorporated to our cocktail hour and reception and it all flowed very well with the help of the planning team and day of team. The food is AMAZING. Our guests still talk about it and can’t believe how many options there were. I felt at home at the venue and wouldn’t of have our wedding any other day. Ian, Sandra, George, and Kelly are all amazing people and amazing at what they do. We would 100% recommend Westbury Manor to anyone who is looking!
Our wedding at The Westbury Manor on July 10th, 2021 was truly a magical and perfect day! We had the time of our lives and it was a dream come true. Everything from the beauty and ambiance of the Westbury Manor itself to the food as well as the incredible staff made our wedding absolutely AMAZING! The outdoor cocktail hour was beautiful and spacious with a variety of food options. The reception was elegant and unforgettable. People are still talking about how much they loved our wedding at the manor and what a great time it was! Its been a year since we had our vow renewal at Westbury Manor, the service was okay but it couldve been better, if you plan to use their service you gotta be on top of them and dictate every little thing if you want it done right. I really liked the place, all of my friends and family loved it as well.Imagine I paid my balance on Monday, the wedding was on Thursday it was supposed to take place outdoors in the place with the kinda like water fountain things, where the main door opens into the building. After we paid we visited where everything will take place and pre-planned, guess what they changed it without letting us know to the other outdoor area-they changed it literally on the day of the wedding.I told my bride attendant to put food for us in the suite, she disappears, a long time after when she came back she told me oh no more food. We paid a lot of money for the cocktail hour and we didnt even have the chance to enjoy it. We had both suites prepared for us but we never had a chance to step foot into either suite and go take pictures and make a toast.By changing the outdoor setting they ruined my wedding pictures as we expected the other setting. The first part(the setting we were told we would get) is grass free. The second setting(the one they switched us to) was full of grass and with the runner on the second one with the grass nobody in the party could walk properly. For the setting we wanted we wouldve each been able to walk through the door and have it closed behind us which wouldve been great for photos which I was really upset about.I remember everyones name but I dont want to name them, its a great place overall , I hope they fix those various problems.
I had my wedding at Westbury Manor in May of 2022, and I could not recommend the venue more! Our experience with all of the staff was incredible from when we first saw the venue, to the many back and forth e-mails to the actual event! The grounds are beyond beautiful and food was incredible. Our guests were blown away by the venue. Well organized, well executed, and very attentive staff! Thank you westbury manor!!!!
I can’t say enough good things about Westbury Manor! I just had my daughter’s bridal shower there and it was wonderful. Everyone that works there are a pleasure to deal with! Planning the event was so easy with Lana. They are so amenable. The food was delicious and plentiful. The staff had everything set up as I asked and there was A LOT of stuff.Philip the Maitre d was beyond. He was so easy going, but completely on top of everything. By the end of day we were “family”. I have hosted many events over the years and I can honestly say this was the best experience I have had with a venue. They are so nice and you get quality food and top notch service! I wanted to post this review about Westbury Manor after my daughter’s sweet 16th birthday party. Our party was pushed back a few years due to Covid restrictions, during that time Westbury Manor was great with their communication and their ability to work with us to make our night as special as possible. Two years later we finally were able to have her sweet eighteen party and they did an exceptional job ! Everything was absolutely beautiful, the room was amazing and we could have not asked for anything more.I would also like to say a special thank you to Phil and Angie, you two were amazing all night long !! Phil was there every step of the night taking care of all our needs, you did an amazing job, thank you for all you did Phil ! Angie was AMAZING with my daughter, there are not enough words that I can say to thank you for all that you did for her last night !Thanks again to the owner and all the staff at Westbury Manor for making my daughter’s night so special !
Love eating at the Polo Club Lounge inside Westbury. My husband and I got married at Westbury Manor 7 years ago. We enjoy going back each year and celebrating our anniversary with their delicious food and amazing staff!
The location is awesome and classy. I have covered two weddings so far at this location. I had to take out two stars because some of the staff are not friendly.Its always part of our contract with couples that our food is covered. I never had this issue with non of the 1000s of Venus I had covered weddings. But today the staff who was coordinating take it upon himself to refuse to serve us. His name is Phil. I had to tell the couple Infront of him that hes refusing to serve us...all of a sudden there is food for. Thats so mean.
I can’t say enough wonderful things about the Westbury Manor! I hosted my daughter’s baby shower there and it couldn’t have been a more perfect day. Every single person starting with the owner, Jerry Scotto, the banquet managers and staff including Michael, Mary, Sandy and Lana, the maitre’d Phil, and the waiters and waitresses went over and above to make sure our every need was met. Even rescheduling the date because of the nor’easter was simple and stress free. My guests were treated like royalty. And the food was delicious! My daughter told me it was one of her best days! As a mother, I couldn’t ask for anything more.

The Westbury Manor was one of the best venues we looked at for many reasons - service, price, outdoor space, indoor space, add-ons, etc. We’ve also heard many good things from family and friends on the food and atmosphere from previous events they attended.If you haven’t considered them yet for a personal or corporate event, I would suggest adding them to your list. We visited 12+ venues and this was our #1 pick.
We had my daughters sweet 16 here on Feb 26th! I’m so glad that we chose to do it here! They were very accommodating and it’s a beautiful place! My madre d Phil was icing on the cake! We loved Westbury Manor so much we had two receptions in a year! We had a small dinner party in March of 2021, it was small, intimate and perfect!We recently had our big wedding (2/20/22) and it was just as perfect! PHIL was our Maitre’d and he went above and beyond for us! Anything we needed or wanted he got for us right away. Most of the time we didn’t even have to ask! KELLY and ANGIE were our bridal attendants. They were so helpful and always there for anything and everything. The entire staff was amazing. The food was amazing and everyone said how great everything was. My French fry bar exceeded my expectations! My only regret of the night was not spending the entire cocktail hour eating French fries! Thankfully PHIL, KELLY, and ANGIE made a sample platter for us to enjoy so we could still talk to all our guests while enjoying everything cocktail hour had to offer.Everything about this place is perfect! The inside is beautiful, the outside grounds are beautiful all year round, and the staff goes above and beyond for you from the second you walk in the door! From booking the wedding with IAN, and all our appointments with SANDRA leading up to the wedding. I didn’t have my wedding here but have attended/planned many of my family celebrations and events. Recently, I assisted in planning my cousins graduation party and the service was beyond unimaginable from beginning to end. First, we coordinated planning with Ian who was great at helping us plan menus and offering the best deals!! On the day of, Phil was the maitre’d and was very attentive throughout the whole celebration, making sure we had all our requests met. He had the sharpest eye for detail and helped make the entire event spectacular! He helped finesse our DIY centerpieces and decorated the cake and placecard table! He was funny, professional, and personable making sure the party flowed smoothly. He made sure I never had an empty drink on hand. The waitstaff was also very attentive and nice!! More importantly, the food never fails at Westbury Manor. The crab cake hor d’ourves were DELICIOUS!! My husband and I split the filet mignon and stuffed shrimp which was AMAZING!!! Westbury manor also never fails with the endless photo ops with the most gorgeous gardens and elegant landscapes. You will not be disappointed (or hungry) if you have a party at westbury manor! Their service, food and ambiance compares to no other venue out there.
The venue was great, we went there for a wedding dinner. The only thing I didnt appreciate is when the best man was giving his speech the servers were picking up the plates and making quite a bit of noise
Went to a wedding there..wow..dont know where to start..first of all the place needs a major overhaul and cleaning..very dated decor. Coctail hour felt like crabs in a barrel with very poor tasting food..l asked for a Baileys drink..they gave me an imitation of....It got worse at dinner i felt i was in a high school cafeteria..walked in to wilted salad..tasteless courses..over frozen stale desert ..the driest cake you ever ate..again stale...i mean our entire table was so disappointed in everything this place had to offer..This is the bottom of the barrel of venues...After we left we were so hungry. Wendys seemed like gourmet food to us..l hate writing reviews like this but l think its so unfair for people to pay their money and get garbage..if anyone invites me to this venue again..i will definitely have..my own DRINKS AND FOOD in the car...ONCE BITTEN TWICE SHY...YUCK..YUCK..YUCK.!!!!
I’m so embarrassed for my best friend who had watch the staff stack chairs and vacuum around the guests shortly after the wedding ended… have some respect and wait 30 min! Unreal and unacceptable. And the food was awful… I’ve never had a worst fillet mignon

I had my wedding here 7.4.21 and it was incredible! All of my guests still talk about how fabulous it was even to this day. We worked with Ian who was excellent. He’s super responsive and helpful and was there for us when we had to reschedule because of Covid. Westbury manor is top notch—food, service, ambiance is all 10/10 highly recommend. My bridal attendant was Madelyn and she was the best!! Definitely book your wedding here if you have the opportunity.
I was there for my cousins wedding yesterday. The place was beautiful also very clean and the staff were great. I think they should have been more lighting for the outside area. Food was ok not amazing but im pretty sure it was a catering and not from the place itself.
A garden wedding experience. It was absolutely wonderful and picturesque. Plenty of photo ops outside. The staff was nice and accommodating. The package chosen for the wedding was fantastic. As an Event Planner, there were some issues I noticed, however I know its only because of my profession that I noticed the infractions.*I enjoy the bathroom stalls with sinks (but all of the sinks were not functioning).

I attended a Christmas celebration event there on Wednesday. There was great fashion show as well. The ambiance is amazing. Great entrance. I took a lot of photos with friends by the elaborate tree at the entrance hall. However I cannot share those. The venue is amazing! The food so delicious, the service is excellent. The bathroom was very much appreciated by us the ladies. As they had the wash basin right in there. Also there was an attendant keeping it all so impeccable and lovely. It’s valet parking. Several attendants are there to make it all run smoothly. I had three prizes which I had won. The staff had a cart for me ready without me having to look for help! She even brought it to my car! I highly recommend this place for whatever celebration you plan on having! Excellent in every way!
Just wanted to THANK all staff for your hard work in making my daughters wedding on July 4th so beautiful & wonderful. Every single guest had a fun & memorable experience. In spite of the pandemic & losing seasoned staff you pulled it off flawlessly. What an amazing spread & selection of foods for breakfast, cocktails & dinner! Your recommendations for the officiant, photographer, florist & DJ did not disappoint. The officiant made it a meaningful ceremony, the photographer so easy going & natural. The DJ/MC captured the spirit of the affair. He was outstanding. He got everyone up & on the floor & in a jubilant mood.whether dancing or not. The flowers were gorgeous. The whole atmosphere & ambience was so lovely. I have to return to walk the beautiful grounds & have a nice lunch.Again, thank you and all staff for reaching such high standards.
Staff was loud And inconsiderate for the event being held. The music in the next room was drowning out the speeches in our room. Food was just ok. Bas Smells from the bathroom were drifting into the hallway ......

On January 8th, we held my daughter’s baby shower at the Westbury Manor. It was absolutely perfect. From the initial booking stage with MARY, through the execution day of, Westbury Manor was available to help and advise through every aspect and detail of the planning process. Emails were answered promptly, phone calls were addressed immediately, and JERRY SCOTTO made it a point to include his input and influence over the course of time. He also made it a point to come into the room prior to the start of the event to make sure we were happy and everything was as promised. Of course the actual day of could not have gone off as flawlessly without the expertise of our Maitre d’, PHIL who was such an integral part of our affair. He was hands on from start to finish and was a complete joy to work with. His professionalism, outgoing personality, and addressing of working staff set the tone for a stress free, fun filled day for all who attended. The food was fresh, beautifully presented, and replenished quickly. Executive CHEF TONY, you are AMAZING! A very heartfelt thank you to the other Senior Managers, GEORGE and JOAQUIM who not only stopped by to make sure set-up and break down went smoothly, but who also assisted in helping our guests carry in gifts and helped us bring everything to our cars on exit. Another thank you as well to the Corporate Director, LANA who worked with me by telephone and email as we are from out of town. Her expertise made the paperwork and drop-off a breeze. In closing, the ENTIRE staff (receptionists, hostesses, coat check, waiters/waitresses, and bartender) at The Manor was welcoming and helpful from start to finish and our guests could not stop raving about the service. Of course once again, none of this would be possible without the direct supervision and overseeing of the Westbury Manor owner, JERRY SCOTTO, who has in the past, and continues to this day, to set the bar for catering standards in the industry. My sincere thanks to ALL of you!

My experience at Westbury Manors was Wonderful! I had my wedding here on 7/2/2021. Phil and Evelyn made me feel stress free! They had everything under control!. Evelyn fixed my dress and helped me switch my shoes when I was tired. She was always there when I needed help!. Phil was amazing he managed the whole party he was attentive and knows how to run a big party! . I recommend both for your special occasions they are a good team. Also My guest loved the food ! Everything was delicious from cocktail hour to dinner!.

I had my wedding reception here last week and it was one of the best days of my life. Its one thing when your reception is in such a beautiful venue. But what made it even better was the excellent staff. From the beginning, Mary made sure all questions were answered and was thorough with what was needed to make the actual day go smoothly. On the wedding day, I had quite a chaotic start at the church ceremony. But upon arrival at the manor, I was taken cared of and not once did I feel anxious anymore. I was greeted by the maitred Sandra and my bridal attendant Kelly immediately from the limo and the whole night they made sure that everyone was comfortable. They were very attentive to my needs and to my bridal party as well. We were all extremely impressed with such service.Thank you to the whole Westbury staff for making my wedding day unforgettable and making me the happiest bride!

From the delicious food, the impeccable service and hospitality and Jerry working closely with us throughout the pandemic I can honesty can endorse this place to be the best location to have a wedding at. Westbury Manor may not be the biggest spot, but there is a good chance it is the right spot.From the moment you turn onto the property, youll be glad you (or the coordinators) chose Westbury Manor.The building has some years under its belt, but thats what makes it great. It has truly been preserved in emaculent shape and the old school wooden decor that rarely seen anymore adds a special ambiance to the occasion.Having been three separate times, I can say the staff is definitely attentive and helpful. The food has not disappointed and the bartenders are friendly.
ON OCTOBER 27TH 2021 My niece Kristen and her Husband Frank celebrated their wedding there everything was put together great ,but what i liked the most was the catering team they were outstanding best I I ever scene, very profressional. But there was a young lady by the name of Teresa that took care of our table 3 I hope one day she will have her own catering place one day. I live in the Bronx of N.Y I will most definitely recommend your staff. You guys were AWESOME!!!
Highland School graduation dinner. Loved the food, drinks and service. Wait staff is very friendly. Valet service is great. We had a fun, family time amongst friends, school teachers and principal.
Saw the place whilst driving by. I know it to be a wedding venue per their website which gives a pretty decent history but, give the people more! 😁 Would be nice if they arranged small group tours and gave a walk around history lesson.
Westbury Manor was AMAZING and the perfect wedding venue for us. We were married on July 8th 2021. We are so grateful for how accommodating they had been during these past two years. Between a postponement and then a tropical storm that came through the day of, we could not have asked for a better venue to get married. We are truly in awe of how flawlessly the manor operates.The day of set-up inside was beautiful and the staff was wonderful! The food was amazing, the drinks were amazing and everything in between. Joaquin (our maitre d) and Kelly (our bridal attendant) were incredible; they made the day stress free and perfect. Guests cant stop talking about the wedding and how much fun they had.The day was absolutely perfect; so thank you from the bottom of our hearts.THANK YOU so much for everything!
My husband and I got married at the Westbury Manor on October 9, 2021, and we couldnt have asked for a more perfect day! Thankfully we were one of the lucky couples that didnt have to postpone our day due to COVID, but we still had concerns as our day drew closer and everyone at Westbury were more than helpful alleviating our concerns.The entire staff went above and beyond to make sure our day went off without a hitch. My bridal attendants Susan and Johana were absolute angels! They made sure my bridal party and I were well taken care of and they anticipated everything we needed and had it ready before we even had to ask! I would never have made it through the day without them.Our maitre d was George and he was the most incredible sweetheart! He was cool, calm, collected, and charismatic; the absolute definition of the the ultimate professional. George made sure everything was taken care of, was always asking if there was anything he could do to take things off our plate, and kept the whole day running smoothly like a well oiled machine.Every single one of our guests went out of their way to make sure they told us what a wonderful time they had. Everyone raved about the unbelievable cocktail hour, the delicious food at the reception, and the absolutely stunning grounds where the ceremony took place.My husband and I truly felt like family at Westbury Manor and cannot wait to go back to enjoy a dinner at the Polo Lounge or even attend a wedding as a guest! If you have any hesitation in having your special day here, please go ahead and make sure you do! It will be the best decision you ever make.
Beautiful!! I recently attended a wedding here on 4th of July weekend. The staff was exceptional, attentive, and extremely helpful when I lost my phone and had to return after event ended. I Would recommend this venue, especially if youre going for a classic, classy space indoor and outdoor, with great food and service.
I wasnt impressed with the venue, given the paise I read about this place. I know the staff on these highly demanding jobs, have a lot to deal with. That said, I wish that they would have provided better customer service and had been a little bit more friendly.Jerry,Thank you for your follow up. There were other guests who felt as I did, and apparently those guests escaped you. The Bride and Groom - my niece and nephew, were happy that they were finally able to have a wedding, after postponing it 5 times, because of covid. That, of course, is unfortunate and could not be helped.You did miss the mark for me and other guests. As a result, I must rate this venue as one star. Should an occasion arise, where I do find myself attending another event at your venue, rest assured, that I would be more than happy to re-visit my review. We had our wedding at Westbury Manor last night, 09/04/2021. Our wedding was originally booked for 09/2020, and of course we had to reschedule. Ian and Jerry were very accommodating during the very stressful experience of having to postpone a wedding by an entire year and they worked with us to ensure that we would be satisfied with our reschedule.The night of the wedding was truly magical. Westbury Manor is a gorgeous venue. Our guests were all in awe of the beauty of a cocktail hour in the gorgeous gardens, and they were amazed at the large and delicious selection of food to graze on during cocktail hour. The whole set up was perfect. We had the ceremony under the smaller metal gazebo, and it was everything I had hoped for. There was plenty of light which was very important considering our ceremony was after sunset. The floral arrangements that Westbury Manor provided for the gazebo topper and aisle runners were absolutely beautiful. Our reception itself was in the Manor Room, which fit our 110 guests, photo booth, and flower wall photography section very well. The portions at the reception were very generous and the food was great. Westbury Manor also was very accommodating and procured Glatt Kosher meals for several guests, which I was assured by those guests was also delicious. Finally, we decided to do the Grand Viennese Tables (these are SO WORTH IT). They filled the entire Conservatory with table upon table heaped with scrumptious desserts! Overall, the ambiance and the food was amazing and all of our guests were extremely impressed.Phil was our Maître D and he was truly an angel. He made sure the whole event ran smoothly and helped us to coordinate everything. He was there every step of the way to alleviate our concerns and stress and to help calm us down and reassure us. Thanks to Phil, the whole evening went off without a hitch, and he was truly a pleasure to work with.Kelly was the bridal attendant, and she was very attentive and helpful. She helped me with not one, but two wardrobe malfunctions. She was able to sew up a tear in the tulle of my dress which I had snagged during photos and before the party started. She also helped save the day when one of my arm straps ripped off the front of my dress after some vigorous dancing. Shes very experienced and was a big help in calming us both down, making sure we had a chance to eat and drink, and just overall taking care of us and making sure we could focus on having a good time without having to worry about anything.In short, our wedding at Westbury Manor was absolutely magical. It was like something straight out of a fairy tale. Thank you so much to the wonderful staff that made our big day extra special for us!
My husband and i would like to thank Westbury Manor and their wonderful staff in helping us out with our wedding ceremony during covid.Lana was our wedding coordinator and we couldn’t of asked for a better person to help us with our event. She has such an amazing energy, listened to all our requests and delivered!The food was fantastic, the servers were friendly and professional. The woman who was assigned in helping me out with getting ready and making sure i had everything i needed was fantastic! She never left my sight. Was always around making sure i had everything i needed and adjusting my dress for the pictures and even my walk down the isle. The grounds were beautiful. We couldn’t of asked for a better outcome! When my daughter decided to get married I thought how wonderful if would be to have her Bridal Shower there. Again I called Ian and he as Wonderful. Phil helped me from beginning to end. I couldnt have asked for more. It truly was her fairy tale in every way. Thanks again to Ian and Phil.
I was there for a wedding on 7/3/2021 and it was absolutely fabulous! The Manor is gorgeous, the staff so friendly and helpful. The food was delicious. We had such a great time. I would highly recommend The Westbury Manor!

My husband and i got married at Westbury Manor on October 7th 2021 and it was the best experience. Once we got to Westbury Manor it was like nothing could go wrong the staff was amazing the maître d’ Phil was amazing he made sure anything we wanted and didn’t want was taken care of and The bridal attendant Evelyn was amazing so nice and so sweet i couldn’t have asked for better . I knew it was going to be hard to impress a couple people but boy they were impressed with everything at westbury from the food ,the service and the amazing grounds . The peacock who lives on the ground also made an appearance during the ceremony which stole the show everyone loved it . Gary did an amazing job on the flowers and centerpieces they were perfect . I want to thank everyone at Westbury Manor who made my wedding the most perfect and amazing day 🤍💯.
I found Westbury Manor on google as i was looking for a venue to have my baby shower, I read the reviews and decided to give them a call and I spoke to Lana , who was a awesome coordinator and listened to what i wanted as far as my vision in colors and how i wanted the set up. I was so pleased and in astonishment how amazing they put the room together and how all the colors came together. It was absolutely beautiful and the staff was so nice and friendly the food was amazing and I just had a great time. They made my day super special. I would recommend all my friends and family to Westbury Manor.
The front house staff was very helpful, friendly and respectful. The food was very good. There was a good variety of different menu items to choose from.

I have to admit this is a professional and fancy wedding venue in Nassau County. BUT the service staffs are terrible even the worst I have ever had. I have been here as a photographer many times because I work with my team for a lot of weddings for Asian those come from Queens and out of state.When I was shooting for the family of groom and bride , the wait staff was trying pass through because I knew he is doing his job. BUT, HE USED HIS FINGER TO POINT ME INSTEAD OF CALLING ME AND LET ME KNOW HE IS PASSING THROUGH. What a BAD ACTION!!! He didnt event know he is representing a service industry.I hope the manager of this place can give them training about how to BRING YOUR VALUEBLE CUSTOMERS GOOD EXPERIENCE NO MATTER THEY ARE FROM ANYWHERE.

My partner and I were excited about this venue because it looked stunning and would have been a perfect fit for our wedding. However, after reading the reviews I became concerned that we would not be able to get our money back if god forbid COVID restrictions came back or if one of us got sick and had to cancel. After looking at the contract and confirming with the site I realized this venue wouldnt refund a deposit under ANY circumstance which is honestly disgusting. I understand its a business but at a time like this people shouldnt be withholding money from people, especially not for something that should otherwise be a celebration. As a former wedding planner myself I have worked with many other venues that have accommodated couples due to personal tragedy and emergencies. If I were you I would look carefully at the reviews and contract before signing ANYTHING at this place.
We had our daughter’s wedding at Westbury Manor on July 31, 2021. We would be remised if we did not acknowledge a job well done by the entire Westbury Manor team. We have had multiple events at Westbury Manor and Jerry Scotto’s team continues to exceed our expectations!Ian, the Director of sales is AMAZING, making my daughter and son in-law feel extremely confident and comfortable throughout the entire planning process, especially during these unprecedented times. Ian is very genuine and makes you feel like he is part of the family.Phil, our Maitre’d was outstanding! Phils is very attentive from the minute you arrive. Phil worked both our son and daughters’ weddings; we just can’t say enough about how special he made us feel. Phil is always three steps ahead, coordinating the entire event to PERFECTION!Evelyn, our bridal attendant did an OUTSTANDING job! The entire Westbury Manor team is so friendly, attentive, and accommodating, exemplifying Customer Service Excellence!Our guests have been raving about the entire event. The cocktail hour at Westbury Manor is by far the best we have ever seen. The food is delicious with incredible presentation. The grounds are so beautiful, we took all the pictures right on their property.If you are planning an event, do yourself a favor and go see Ian at Westbury Manor. If you don’t host your event there, you are missing out and hopefully you will be invited to one!

Had my mom and aunt birthday party this weekend. I was so pleased with everything. The process was smooth sailing from the moment I met Felicia. The decor was spectacular, the service was 5 star and PHIL was amazing. My friends and family enjoyed every moment of the event. The food especially cocktail hour was great. I have already given some of my guest the contact number for the venue. I thank you all from the bottom of my heart for the wonderful service. I will definitely use Westbury Manor again

First I would like to just say how beautiful the Westbury Manor is. The staff is nice and friendly. I had my sweet 16 here 7 years ago and to this day I still have people talk about how beautiful and amazing the party was. My party was in the summer so we were able to have access of the gardens. The scenery was so gorgeous. You have waterfalls, animals and flowers all around.I recently came back to the Manor to have my mom’s surprise birthday party and again Westbury Manor doesn’t fail. I worked with Felicia who helped coordinate and make the party planning process easy. She is very welcoming and friendly and answered any and every of my questions. She assured me that the staff will help make my vision for the party look just how I imagined it and they did.Phil was the maître d’ I was given for the party and all I can say is good things about him. Phil is such a sweet person. He is very attentive, friendly and makes you feel like he’s a friend rather then an employee. He would communicate with me about how the room came out, if I needed anything else setup, if me and my party wanted anything to eat or drink in the bridal suite and just helped the surprise party go smoothly. To sum up my experience the Westbury Manor will be a special place for not one but for two events. I hope to come back for future events!!
Im going to have my wedding here. I went to check it out and the staff is very kind. Beautiful interior and very clean. It has a lot of perfect spots to take pictures. Also theres a peacock there. That was pretty cool to see, hopefully hell be there for the wedding

Everything was well coordinated, from cocktail hour to dinner, and all of our guests raved about how good the food was and how beautiful the grounds were. My good friend and his wife got married here today and it was absolutely stunning. I had the pleasure to photograph the grounds and the service was impeccable. Wait staff was very attentive to detail and management was very accommodating. I want to thank Jerry & George for allowing us to photograph these wonderful grounds and we hope that we can come back soon.

Staff was professional, and organized. The food was wonderful. They were always on schedule, and accommodating. This was the only place I felt was up to par for my wedding guests (close friends and family). George was always cool, calm, and collected. Still married...so theres that.
Service completely stunk. Taking away full drinks, rudely shoving thier arms infront of your faces to grab plates instead of simply saying excuse me.Leaving patrons without silverware..Cocktail hour was outside in a heatwave. Seafood was left out in heat.. no good
Great place for a wedding or other occasion. My daughters went to a sweet 16 here and loved it. Now, my daughters are a bit more traveled than most, so they know a thing or two. The food was definitely up to par. The room was elegant and spacious . Service was excellent.
This will be an ongoing detailed review through our wedding process with Westbury Manor.So far, we toured the venue and my Fiancée and I officially chose the Manor over The Fox Hollow today. We’ve seen various venues but we knew Westbury Manor was the one right away. Mary was very kind and professional, and she gave us a great tour. Everyone we met was extremely friendly, and both the manor and the employees have very warm and welcoming demeanors. It almost felt as if we were home. Mary was very kind to our two year old daughter and our daughter took an immediate liking to her. She explained everything very well and really did a great job giving us a history lesson on the Manor (which is gorgeous, by the way). The Manor is kept extremely clean and the grounds are beautiful. Everything is traditional and kept the way it was historically. That’s what gives the place its charm; so when other reviews speak about it in a negative way it doesn’t make any sense since it is a historic landmark which has been around for over 120 years. It’s beautiful. We met Jerry (the owner) during our tour. My fiancée’s aunt was an employee of Jerry’s years ago and she has always had phenomenal things to say about him. So we are looking forward to working with him and his staff for our big day.I will add more through the process and actual event.

I am a nurse in Queens and my husband is a school counselor in Manhattan for children with special needs. We were originally supposed to get married at Westbury Manor on June 28th, 2020, but had to work through the pandemic instead. My husband is careful and hygienic in his work setting, but still ended up contracting COVID-19 during the pandemic. Luckily, he survived and did not make any of his students or loved ones sick.At the end of March 2020, working as a nurse through this pandemic, I had to put aside planning our final wedding details and focus on serving my community. With the help of my closest family, my husband and I were married in my mother’s backyard with less than 20 people in attendance, while adhering to the strict COVID-19 guidelines. We debated whether or not to reschedule the wedding reception or to cancel at Westbury Manor.Each time we contacted Westbury Manor or they contacted us during the pandemic, we asked about cancelling our event, but we were told that wasn’t an option each time. We would lose all of the money we deposited (about $13,500 altogether). In fact, upon rescheduling during the pandemic, they asked for an additional $3000 deposit, which was eventually waived.Therefore, we rescheduled our event for June 13th 2021. However, since the beginning of the year, it was clear that about half of our guests would not be able to make it as they live in other countries, where vaccines are less available and travel policies are still changing constantly. Many of our local guests are elderly, as well. We did not feel safe or comfortable holding our rescheduled event. Many details were still uncertain, such as: number of guests allowed, precautions needed, safety procedures, and whether or not dancing would be permitted.In March, Westbury Manor told us that we would not be getting a refund because they could not book another event during our date on such short notice. After several exchanges, and reminding them that we have been asking about cancellations since the beginning of the pandemic, they offered us an “exception” of giving a $3500 refund.Unfortunately for us, we didn’t realize that there is no Acts of God clause or Force Majeure provision in the contract. To anyone who is getting married in the future and currently reading this, please look for this clause in your contracts! We are NOT lawyers and certainly not offering legal advice, but from what we can tell, it covers things outside of our control, such as natural disasters like the pandemic.As of right now, we’re not really sure where we stand. As of last week, our banquet manager was on vacation. We think the event has been cancelled, but who knows? Westbury Manor is a small business, and many relief options are now available for them, not even counting losses that can be claimed when filing taxes.As individuals, we will not be able to reclaim any of our lost deposits. As far as I know, small claims courts in Long Island will award only up to $5000 in damages. Hiring a lawyer to pursue further action may cost as much money as we’ve lost in total, and require a lot of time, as well. We understand that they are a business that has undoubtedly been affected by the pandemic, but we have been hurt, too. To date, we have not received any money back from Westbury Manor. At this point, with all of the issues listed above, I don’t think a full refund should be out of the question.To those of you looking to get married at Westbury Manor, please be safe, and consider the information I shared above when planning ahead with our uncertain future. Please read your contracts and think twice about scheduling a venue, like Westbury Manor.

Our wedding day was an amazing experience here at this venue. Had a wonderful banquet manager Mrs. Mary who patiently guided us through the process and also received help from Mr. Ian who patiently helped out and eased the process when I felt a bit stressed. Food was great. Service from all the staff was always professional and friendly. Would recommend this venue to anyone.
This weekend I got the pleasure to experience the beauty that is Westbury Manor. The place was beautifully decorated and so so much space!!! And we got to see the secret passage way so the bride doesn’t get spotted by the guests.The water fountain in the back, the cocktail hour, so much drinks and so much delicious food!! The peacocks chiming into the wedding ceremony multiple times, which was very cute. Then the timing of the entrances and exits. The professionalism of the staffs. How they joke around to loosen the nerves of the bridal party and people who are party of the wedding wedding party.The sit down dinner was super duper phenomenal! I got the duck and it came with 2 duck legs which were so tender inside and the skin was so crunchy~~~ the slightly orange tangy sweet sauce went so well with the meat and a side of carrot and string beans and mashed sweet potato. So good!!All the staff at Westbury manor were all so friendly and so on point!!! I would def recommend westbury manor to future friends who are planning their wedding~~~BUT with all that said, there was especially one person that I couldn’t thank enough for being there for my friend ( the bride) since we arrived at the manor. That would be the bride attendant, Kelly. She was super sweet and so professional that I couldn’t believe her young age! Literally trusted her the minute I met her and it felt like I’ve met her a couple times before and we just had a great time! She was always there and ready to get anything the bridal party needed and water, juice, food, fruits and muffins. I felt that she was always going above and beyond our expectations. And I know that bride and grooms usually don’t get to eat at their own wedding but she brought them food to the bridal suite so they don’t go hungry. And as the party was coming to an end, she packed them the food they didn’t get to finish or eat and got their signing banner and photo canvas packed and ready to load it on to their car. If it wasn’t for her I think we would of been running like mad people going in and out of the bridal suite and scrambling to see if we left anything behind. She has a keen eye for details and is so responsible!!She was the biggest absolute help!!! By the time I thought of doing something, she’s already getting it covered and always ahead of me. She’s really the best!!!!I think I wanted to cry when I had to leave and say goodbye to Kelly. Literally couldn’t stop giving her hugs 😭😭😭😭😭😭Absolute BEST!!!!!!
Beautiful venue for a wedding or small function. I was there for a baby shower and everything was lovely. The grounds are beautifully decorated for the fall. Besides the lovely landscaping....they have a nice koi pond with a waterfall and foot bridge. Perfect for pictures. Inside decor was very rich deep tones and elegant. Very clean private bathroom stalls both upstairs and downstairs. Food was excellent. Appetizers were very tasty. I could have eaten 100 Beef Wellington! Staff was very helpful and polite. I would definitely consider this venue for a future function!!!

A good place for a wedding, the outdoor garden is beautiful, the ambiance was great, the food was amazing. My only drawback on this location where the servers they were quite rude and not helpful at all, I dont mean just one person. The bartender seemed uninterested, the people serving the food were clumsy and spilled food on my friend and didnt say sorry. I heard them talking about the guest. They left a sour taste on alot of peoples mouth.
Beautiful venue, but... as a vegan guest at a very expensive wedding, we were disappointed with the fact that the bride and groom paid a ton of money per person for food, and our vegan option was a single solitary stuffed pepper? I mean it was very tasty, but really? For the price per plate, there could have at least been TWO stuffed peppers! We were still hungry and the bride and groom got jipped $$ :( If it wasnt for fresh fruit and veg at cocktail hour we would have starved.I see Westbury Manor replied to my review. But their reply shows they have ZERO knowledge of what a vegan diet entails. Its characterized by what you dont eat... and pasta salads, pita bread and whatever else they said was offered are NOT vegan options. Mayo and dairy are not included in a plant based diet. I am disappointed with the way they tried to save face by proving they have no clue how to feed a plant based guest. Everyone around us was eating $20+ cuts of meat with sides, and our meals cost about $5.00 and were the equivalent of an appetizer, which everyone else got one of those but us. To blame it on the bride and groom is irresponsible, because they themselves have no clue about plant based meals, and the venue knew our meals were not comparable to other guests in both quantity or price but did not care. Basically with this venue the old rule holds true: If you are a vegan guest coming to a wedding here, eat before you come.
Beautiful venue for a wedding. The ceilings are remarkably low however. Also the wedding we attended had an outdoor cocktail hour, but there was no provision to keep flies away from much of the food on the buffet. This was a real problem at the seafood section.
Ive been here for meals and for parties. We considered here for our wedding reception, but it didnt seem bright & cheery enough to suit us. But now I am widowed & needed a table for one. If you want to go out for thanksgiving dinner, this isnt a bad choice. I sat at a table near the bar and the steady stream of varied families passing through waiting for their tables made people watching an amusing passtime.

Attended my niece’s Bridal Shower at the Westbury Manor a few weeks ago and everything was superb.Your staff were so warm , professional and made us feel like family. I practically grew up here, as my father was employed by the Scotto’s for over 40 years and always took a ride with my mother to pick him up from work. Phil was absolutely fantastic, from helping us organize the room and flowers, to assisting guests with drinks and was professional and a delight to deal with. Antonia is a gem and was so very kind and courteous to us when we arrived early to set up. She always has a smile on her face. The food was delicious and our Family and Friends still are gushing about it being the best Shower they ever attended. I booked the Hill Room at Westbury Manor in the beginning of November for my sweet 16 which was last month. I could not be happier with my experience. Through out the entire process the staff at Westbury Manor was incredibly nice and helpful. Linda is an outstanding manager and helped me and my parents so much. The day of the event my maitred was Phil. He was so supportive and took very good care of my family, my court, and of me. The food was very delicious and there was a very large variety. My party was absolutely amazing thanks to the people at the Manor. I cannot express how happy and how truly thankful I am for everything Westbury Manor did. I will highly recommend them always.
Had a wedding here in February. The staff was wonderful and know exactly how to run a wedding. They made everything so easy. The venue is impeccable decorated even without bringing your own decorations. Highly recommend having an event here.
We had our wedding here 2 weeks ago and are still ecstatic! We had never heard a bad thing about Westbury manor so we felt confident going into it. With that said, they STILL exceeded our expectations. From booking the venue to the food tastings, meetings, and drop off every single member of this staff will treat you amazing. My daughter’s Sweet Sixteen at Westbury Manor was nothing but a wish come true for her. First of all I will start by saying that the place is beautiful and the service is excellent. They were very helpful on making recommendations for the party planning, DJ, and photographer. Upon arrival everything was set as planned and the place looked amazing. The food was delicious and my family and friends were very pleased. Ian Azouz, Maître D Sandra, and all the staff were very attentive at all times and made the accommodations necessary when needed. I would highly recommend Westbury Manor and I am extremely thankful that they made my daughter Melanie’s day special.
I just had my wedding here on 5/26/19. Everything was going well and I was really looking forward to it. In the beginning we were meeting with Mary and she was very flexible with us. I even disclosed that I was going through cancer treatment and was not 100% sure that I would be able to keep the date that we booked but she was very accommodating. My husband and I kept all the appointments that we had with her and the other staff and they were all very helpful.Then things got way too dramatic. The day before, while we were having an Indian ceremony at my house, a manager named Ian called my husband and was complaining that he didn’t get the table numbers or favors on time. This put my husband in a bad mood and sent me into a fury. I threw the table numbers and whatever else I had in a box and sped to the venue at around 7pm with some friends. I met with Ian and informed him that he ruined the ceremony that we were having that day, that he shouldn’t speak to a NYPD officer with a nasty tone, that we had settled everything with someone else at the venue earlier that week, etc. He then proceeded to inform me that he thought my number count was off and I had to pay for an extra two people. To be very clear, my husband and I just had a meeting there earlier in the week and spoke with other staff (all very nice) who stated that everything was paid off and we could bring whatever we wanted the day of. I had been taking my wedding very casually and trying not to stress out, however when I met with Ian, he was condescending and gave me all kinds of mixed messages (in front of my friends!). I ended up just paying for the extra people to get the interaction over with. He ended up apologizing profusely and fed myself and friends some drinks and food. I still had a bad feeling about this place though.Although the wedding the next day ended up going smoothly, this absolutely ruined the mood for me. Not only was I no longer excited, but I was dreading going back there in the morning after that interaction. After all that, the guests seemed to enjoy themselves, the food was good, the bridal attendant (Kelly) was amazing, and things turned out well. I would not recommend that you select this place for your wedding. I could say a lot of nice things about most of the staff but the interaction with Ian is not one that I would wish on anyone the day before their wedding. It embarrasses me just to think about and I’m still trying to block it out a week later. Time should help me focus more on the good parts.
Went to a reception here that begun outside and moved inside. I was skeptical at first about the outdoor experience in the middle of the summer with everyone dressed up, but with the nice weather and shade it was quite enjoyable. Standard appetizers and bar but the menu for dinner had several more options than these places normally do. The room we had was a little smaller than the usual wedding places but we did have a smaller group and there are other rooms available.
Amazing. My husband and I went for a wedding and the placewas easy to find. Traveling from Brooklyn was not as long as we thought given we used MTA. The location is big and has so many beautiful settings. The service was amazing and the servers were so attentive especially the woman named Maria. She was so sweet.

This is one of the most beautiful places I attended a social event in. In fact, I attended a couple of social events in this place within the last two years and was not disappointed. The place is gorgeous with easy parking, valet or otherwise. The place was also nicely decorated and comfortably lit and well maintained. Staff were very helpful and courteous. Food on both occasions was provided by the Manor and was very well done and nicely served.
I had my daughters sweet 16 at the Westbury Manor and I cant thank them enough for their outstanding service.From the first day of reserving the hall to the day of the event the Westbury staff guided and worked with us with sincerity.To this day my guests rave about the service, food and speak about the beautiful the grounds.

Came here for #glamorousGG retirement party. The food was very good, the bartender was an octopus, serving 130 people all alone, but served he did! It was a nicer place then I expected. Oh and valets, quick, efficient, and courteous, tip them well!
We are SO happy we chose Westbury Manor as our 8/17/18 wedding reception venue! The staff was incredible for the entire planning process, answering every email and phone call, always setting our worries at ease. Sandra and Claudia were our Maitred and Bridal Attendant respectively and they were ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE!! My husband and I wanted for nothing all night! They were constantly getting us water, drinks, food, anything we needed. They anticipated every need before we realized we needed it. Just before cake cutting, I was worried because my bangs were not looking so good, sweaty from dancing all night. I ran to the bathroom with my maid of honor, trying to figure out how to fix them, and Claudia and Sandra come running in with a blow dryer and brush! In two minutes I looked as good as I did before the day even started! The food was absolutely delicious and every tiny decor detail became a reality thanks to the entire WM staff. When I say that WM made my wedding a true fairytale, I really mean it. Their attention to detail, their amazing communication, and obvious love for what they do is so apparent! WM, Jerry Scotto, Claudia, and Sandra made my wedding dreams come true, my husband and I will never forget them!
Had a communion for my daughter there. They are very friendly and they were very flexible and convenient especially now during the COVID-19. Food was very good, everything fresh. Service was excellent. Very nice place.
Wedding went as perfectly as could be. Venue was clean, beautiful and well staffed. The staff was professional and worked hard to make our special day as memorable as possible. If I could redo that night, I wouldnt change a thing!
Pretty manor from outside entrance and very nice inside, if you like older style craftsman homes,(which I do).However, the food was not good at all. Very bland & lack of.My husband and I ordered the sirloin steak & about 20 min before our dinner came out they put a bowl of gravy in front of us. Never told us what it was or what it was for then when our food came out we realized the sauce on the steak wasnt there so when we went to try it out it was Ice Cold by then.The dessert came 1hr after dinner.Ball of chocolate covered ice cream was Frozen solid so we could barely cut into it. Our coffee was barely warm (like it was sitting for a while before served)Bottom line: I would not advise spending $$$$ here for your wedding/events.
Beautiful surroundings and the food was good, but the service was lacking. They were cleaning off the tables before we were done eating, only half the table got coffee and it was cold at that. Coffee came out before desert and again only half of our table got cake, not even the half with the coffee.All in all a great time was had by all. I wouldnt cross it off my list if I had to find a place for an event/special occasion.
Beautiful place and great service also the food was delicious I would love to have my future wedding at this venue. I visited this place for my best friend baby shower and the garden is beautiful with the peacock in the back. Everything about this place was outstanding. I recommend Westbury Manor to everyone.

Great place to hold your wedding, nice little back yard for ceremonies. Koi pond and live peacock raining the property. Lots of areas for group shots. Food was decent but the appetizers were better. Been there 3 times and always filled up during cocktail hour.
Was very close to giving it 1 star, but the venue does have a great outdoor space if you are privy to it. Overall, its a beautifully decorated venue but has issues, being a multiple-wedding-venue. It wouldnt be so bad if the ceremony we attended wasnt running late.. but, as guests, we witnessed bride and groom being pretty much escorted out of the ceremony area by the security guard. obviously for holding up the next weddings ceremony and all their guests. Other than that, we didnt really have many run-ins with the other weddings guests.The cocktail hour had good food, with tacos/Mexican station being a big hit. The reception area had very low ceilings and made the room look even smaller with a great number of guests that attended. I would suggest capping the number of guests in that room. The oval tables also make it tough to move around.. The food was good (scalops), however the salad was nothing to brag about.On a pro side, there is an outdoor area that can host large groups of guests for the cocktail hour. I think its the highlight of the venue, however unless you are booking a large wedding, your cocktail hour will not be taking place there. The outdoor area has multiple levels, fountains, stairs, greenery and a number of animals strolling around, such as huge parrots, rabbits, peacocks, etc.
I had my wedding ceremony and reception at Westbury Manor in Fall 2013. My guests are STILL raving about the food, service, grounds and overall experience. I love this place so much. There was another wedding at the same time, but I never saw the other bride or their guests (until I went to leave at the valet station -- I never saw the other bride, but her guests were arriving as I was leaving). The whole day was incredibly romantic and I cant give them enough praise! My husband and I look forward to returning for our anniversary dinner.
Nice and intimate place. Great for holiday season or parties. They are attentive n nice( for your money) There valet was alert and quick when your ready to go. I like then for venues but pricey. Just know that you will be paying a lil extra

We just celebrated our sons wedding at Westbury Manor and I cannot express how beautifull everything was. From the venue and outdoor gardens, the delicious abundant food, the reception room and caring, helpful staff it was everything and more than what we could have asked for. Everyone who came said it was one of the nicest weddings they had attended. We also used the in house florist and the did a great job as well recreating the brides vision. I want to thank everyone for helping make this a magical day

Great place for the wedding or a party. Various size rooms and beautiful outdoor area fit different size events. Been to many events there, from Christening Parties to Weddings. Staff is very nice. One small complaint is that on bigger events cocktail hour might be a little packed.

This place is shockingly beautiful. Had my wedding here and felt as if I was royalty. Real peacocks, ponds and beautiful flowers surrounding the place. The food is exquisite and prices you see is well worth it. I been to other places where the prices dont match the taste of the food and this place is not one of them.
Just had my daughters christening here last night. What an amazing experience from start to finish. When I first stumbled upon westbury manor I was accommodated last minute by Ian who was so welcoming and helped us develop the perfect package for our budget. The night of the baptism all of the staff members were so friendly and the service was exceptional. Our Maitre d Phil was phenomenal and huge help from the minute we walked through the doors. I would say his service surpassed that of the Maitre d we had at our own wedding. His 15+ years in this line of work truly showed, he made everything so much easier and less stressful for my husband and I. Anything we needed he helped us with, he helped us above and beyond our expectations. Everyone at the party truly enjoyed the food -big reviews on the filet minon, salmon and shrimp. The decor of the facilities in general was so beautiful. I could not be happier with our experience here at the westbury manor.
I m not recommended this place for wedding, the food in the cotail hour taste like they get it from BJ and Costco, the bridal attendent there needs more training, we had never seen them around when we need some service.

On Jan. 12th I had my daughters baby shower here. Our Maitred was Phil.I cannot say enough about how wonderful he was. Let me start by saying my husband and I arrived first. The room looked so beautiful the way he set it up, so I started to take some pictures. The next thing I knew, I couldnt find my phone. I started to look for it, and I finally said I cant find where I put my phone. As Phil was speaking with my husband, without missing a beat, he pointed to where I left my phone!! He was on his game! I knew then I was in good hands. When my 89 year old Mother arrived, he helped her up the stairs and to her seat. The same for when she left. He was so caring, courteous, and professional. I felt at ease with him as soon as we met. He was friendly and made terrific suggestions for some of the party favor give aways. Big thank you also to all our waiters and waitress and Rosemarie our bartender, and Nicole our consultant. I would definitely use Westbury Manor for my next affair.

Easy to see right off of Jericho Turnpike servicing Westbury and the adjoining areas of Nassau County. Valet parking is available. Clean facilities. Public Restrooms. Old school vintage atmosphere. The food is not consistently good. There were multiple parties going on at once. Wish I didnt have to valet my car, Id rather park it myself. Good place for a less expensive party or special occasion.

My husband and I had a wedding at Westbury Manor on September 14th 2018. Our banquet manager Ian was amazing from start to finish. Our Maitred Sandra and bridal attendant were fantastic as well as the entire Westbury Manor staff. Our guests are still raving about our wedding from the outdoor cocktail hour, to food, to the staff and everything in between being PERFECT 3 weeks later. Thank you Westbury Manor for making our wedding day perfect!
Good value. Biggest complaint was how quickly they pushed us out. We were slated until 530 and at 525 the staff started cleaning. Moving our gifts, and vacuuming! It’s a bit of a revolving door type of place. Also, ask for exactly how many hors d’euvres you’re going to get. They only came around one time for each of the 5 we ordered. Was expecting more.
My wife and I have been coming to WM since we were married there in 1989 and every year since. Except for 2020 of course. When is the Polo opening again so we can continue the tradition?

I had my clients wedding here and the food the drink the service was greatmost of the vendors were good except brians flower shopi couldnt believe they delivered the wrong flowers, and the wrong colors but mostly the flowers were wilted and dead.We tried calling to speak to brianHe would never get on the phone, I actually heard him yelling in the background, dont put me on the phone his girls are nothing short of rude too.They acted that for all of the money we spent we should be greatful.greatful for receiving the dead flowers wrongfully delivered.Mr Scotto, your facility is very good. You should be proud but this guys company could care less about you and your reputation so it seems.I wished we listened to the bad reviews he has as they speak about similar complaints and his attitude. Westbury is beyond accomdating. I was in a situation where I needed to make sure I had the perfect place to take my engagement photos in case it rained. Thats when I turned to Westbury Manor. I spoke to Mr Jerry Scott and he was more than happy to help us. He let us come on a monday afternoon and take pictures anywhere( we already had a photographer) This was all last minute and I couldnt thank him enough for all that he did. I reccomend having your wedding here for everything especially for the pictures. You will not regret it!
Great venue for a Wedding food was pretty good. Could not get cake or hot coffee. Thought it was rude to be breaking down the room while the party was still going on.
There are two regions to the manor, the cocktail bar and the dinner hall.The cocktail bar region was not able to accommodate the sheer amount of guests that came with the wedding party I was with. There were about 200 of us and there was little room to move. Above that, the service was horrendous. I waited on line to get two drinks and when it was finally my turn, the bartender saw the person behind me holding a $5 bill and decided to service him instead of me. In fact, not only did he not service me, he blatantly ignored me. I only asked for a cup of Coke Cola and a cup of orange juice. This went on for the next two guests before he even decided to respond to me and thus give me my two drinks.As for the dinner hall the ceilings were too low and thus the noise was very concentrated. The only other problem I had with this region is that when my table was called to go take pictures with the bride and groom, the waitresses took away our food before we were able to finish it.
Went here for a friends wedding reception....very pretty, clean, friendly staff. The way the reception area was setup created a perfect romantic ambiance. Danced the night away! :)
Met with Mary. Found her to be dismissive, and very indifferent in every way. It was almost as though we were bothering her with the few questions we asked.The clincher was when we asked the same question twice and received two different answers. She twisted her answers.Found her not trustworthy unfortunately as we wished we had met with Mr. Scotto or a better more professional sales person. We wound up going to another nearby place also upscaled, with one wedding at a time, even thouugh our heart was originally with Westbury Manor. We just could not conceed to Mary as we really felt she was not focased on us. More or less shallow in her demeanor.I/we felt so bad as we always loved Westbury Manor. Mr. Scotto has a nice place, with a good reputation,. it is a shame the person we met with isnt an indication of Mr. Scottos success. Hire someone with Integrity. Good Luck!! To future brides, please go here, give it a try, but ask for Mr. Scotto, or a more professional, and caring representative of their venue.
The valet stole items from two different guests cars and the management tells me that I have misplaced it and that it wasn’t stolen. Bag of quarters and Ray ban sun glasses gone. Then he hung up the phone on me. Totally unprofessional. I feel so embarrassed that my guests had stuff stolen from their car. And I didn’t get an apology just told that there’s nothing he can do because he not in charge of the parking lot. Never will book a party with them again!!!!

Place is nice, food was plentiful and creative. Reason for 1 star is that i ran into a lady in the hallway and wanted to ask her a question as she seemed to work there in a certain capacity, but she brushed me off.I went to a hostess in lobby and asked her if i could speak to someone or make an appt about my wedding as I am a guest here at my friends wedding. She said oh that was the sales woman. I said what is her name, she said Mary.I told her she brushed me off abruptly, and told me she had no time. the hostess said leave me your name and number i will have mary call you.I said dont bother she is a rude person. I feel bad but that is no way to treat people in a people business where hospitality is suppossed to be foremost. Correct?
I am displeased with the lack of polite service derived from my stepdaughters sales girl lynda. She felt that she was telling her and not helping her especially when she pushed this other girl francessa at dazzles this person was so rude that my step daughter came away crying and wanting to cancel her wedding there. This dazzle person could not dazzle herself properly as she is so rude and hard and pushy in her way. My stepdaughter had her own ideas and dazzles just talked down on her like she was a kid. I was told not to interfere, so i did not, so far. But i can warn others to be cautious about these tactics over there. Get the wedding you want not what others are telling or commanding you to do. They have choices use them and be happy.A concerned stepfather praying for a wonderful wedding. The owner has a good reputation so I pray that this will prevail.
The Westbury manor provides great service and a tantalizing menu in a cozy atmosphere. The bar offers a tapas menu with an array of fantastic cocktails served by their mixologist Mike Clancy! A must go.

2022-02-26We were finally married at Westbury Manor on 1/30/22 in the afternoon. This was our 4th wedding date. Due to the pandemic and a blizzard, we went from 6/6/20 to 1/30/21 to 1/29/22 and finally landed on 1/30/22. Westbury was incredible to work with. They helped us seamlessly move the dates and were always there to answer any questions or concerns we had along the way. Ian was hugely helpful from the start of our journey with Westbury and was a big part of our decision to work with this amazing venue from the very start. After finally getting through multiple postponements throughout the pandemic to celebrate our Wedding day, a major Noreaster was forecasted for the day of our Wedding on 1/29/22. We received a phone call from Jerry Scotto, strongly advising us to postpone again. Our hearts sank. We quickly inquired if there was any availability on Sunday 1/30/22 to which Jerry stated there was an afternoon spot available. With one days notice, Jerrys candid honesty helped us through a very difficult and challenging situation and decision, especially after what we had been through. Westbury shifted our entire Wedding Day, the day we had been waiting so long to celebrate and it was more perfect, and more beautiful, than we could have ever possibly dreamed of! We had been working with Sandra in the weeks leading up to the Wedding and she was there with us on our Wedding Day throughout the entirety of the party. Her genuine compassion, kindness and true whole-hearted hospitality and care guided us through a seamless day. Susan was our bridal attendant. Susans kindness, patience, attentiveness and dedication allowed us to have such a wonderful experience at Westbury Manor from start to finish. Susan graciously helped me with my dress when I needed to head up the stairs, or into the restroom, and bustled my dress up so beautifully and quickly. Susan made sure we enjoyed all of the delicious food throughout our Wedding, and we truly did. The variety, quality and amount of food served at our Wedding was unbelievable. From start to finish, from cocktail hour to dessert, even the chocolate fountain was amazing! Our guests were well fed, taken care of, happy, comfortable and never wanted for anything. The service was impeccable. The Manor made our signature drinks to perfection! We can attest to an absolutely beautiful canvas for a true Winter wonderland Wedding. Throughout the party, the rooms lighting was consistently adjusted, which actually made it feel like evening time. We felt so lucky as it felt like we had the best of both worlds, a beautiful day time afternoon party, combined with the evening feeling! It was amazing! Each room in the Manor is more captivating than the next. When we entered the Manor Room before our reception began, I couldnt believe my eyes. The staff at Westbury Manor decorated the space, personalized for us with the items we brought! We worked with Gary for flowers at the Westbury Manor, and his talent for creating the most beautiful floral arrangements for every one of our tables, and for our bouquets and boutonnieres was absolutely incredible. The flowers on our Wedding cake were also so perfect and beautiful! Gary drove out in the snow the next morning, and hand delivered all of our flowers! The professionalism of this venue and every possible aspect of it is unmatched. We will never forget this day for the rest of our lives. We are so grateful to Westbury Manor! Thank you SO much for everything!

2021-09-28Westbury Manor is AMAZING in every which way! My husband I had a gorgeous Sunday daytime wedding and it was a fairytale. We had such positive experiences with everyone who works here. Ian, Sandra, Kelly (my amazing, patient and fun bridal attendant), and Jerry worked with us tirelessly to ensure everything was perfect even during a pandemic! They were so communicative with us through the process. The venue is just gorgeous- we had a beautiful outdoor ceremony and cocktail hour that I think completely blew our guests away! The party room is huge and we’ll lit from all the surrounding windows. Day of Sandra and Kelly were so attentive to my husband and my needs, even providing us time to eat during the party and getting us plates full of food from the cocktail hour when we were busy! 2022-04-17This is where my daughter Gina had my grandsons baby shower beautiful place the grounds are amazing the service was so good waiters and waitresses were so polite and serviceable I highly recommend this place and we had nice hot food and so much to eat and drink just ❤️ loved it.

Jerry Scotto is AMAZING! He is 100% invested in the success of every event held at the manor and it shows! His staff were all lovely to work with - genuine, friendly and professional! The cocktail space, ballroom and beautiful gardens are so spectacular and make for a real classy celebration! The food and drinks are also exceptional and there are endless options for all your guests! Everyone had so much fun at our wedding and we’ll all be talking about it for years to come! 2022-04-01So this review is long overdue. My wedding was January 8th at westbury Manor. I have to thank the staff that helped at my event. A very special thank you to Lana if it wasnt for her patients & help it wouldnt have happened. Also a very special thank you to my Bridal Assistant Kelly for saving the night more then once.Thank you to our matradee Sandra She was deff super stessed and i apologize but she got everything done. ❤️Truly a beautiful place! The florist is great too. But to be honest I would do your research on the people this place refers you too. I have a bad taste in my mouth because they refered us to a company who turns out to be the owners good friend ,but seems like they chose friendship over customer service. But other than that I would say westbury manor is beautiful, definitely older in style & different. But cheaper prices. And at least they have a few diamonds in the ruff. Thanks again to the few that helped that night & to make that night special for me & my husband!

2022-06-10We held our wedding at Westbury Manor about three weeks ago. It was a fun and seamless celebration largely thanks to Phil (MaitreD) and Dilcia (Bridal Attendent). We had a few last minute schedule changes for the reception and we told Phil to base it off convenience. In response, Phil emphasized to my wife, No, this is your wedding, and you tell us what you want. Phils upbeat and positive attitude put us at ease and we were so fortunate we had him by our side guiding us and managing the flow of the wedding.Dilcia was always by my wifes side, from holding her train, helping her change into many dresses, to grabbing us a bite to eat. Dilcia was a delight to be around and extremely helpful with suggestions. Phil and Dilcia are the dynamic duo you will want at your wedding. We had not specifically requested them, but if you are planning to have your wedding at Westbury Manor, definitely request them for your wedding day!We cant forget the wonderful Banquet Managers Michael and Sandra who were always prompt in responding to our inquiries. Michael assisted us with the booking and logistics for the venue while providing a lovely tour of the venue. Sandra arranged all the other preparations for the wedding day.We liked that Westbury Manor only hosts one wedding at a time, which makes for a more intimate environment. Many of our guests complimented the venue on both the quantity and quality of the food. The venue also has a wandering peacock that we did not see during the wedding, but my wifes family saw it through the reception doors during our first dance. So the peacock witnessed our first dance, but also grabbed the full attention of my wifes family. The entire venue, including the garden, ceremony area and reception room, was gorgeous (see pictures below). We highly recommend Westbury Manor as a wedding venue.

2021-08-03To me, the number one thing in planning our wedding date was where we were going to do it and if I had to choose again, I would choose the Westbury Manor every single time. Michael J. and the WBM staff were nothing short of amazing to us and really helped us with all my (many) emails & questions. Planning a wedding in a post-COVID time was a concern for me and Michael really helped me and was understanding throughout the whole process - I had even requested a few changes to our day from what we had originally planned. The venue was also great at putting my vision into play- I had wanted half outdoors/half indoors, and while at one point we were concerned with rain - the weather turned out beautiful and they made the whole vision happen for us. They had a lot of different options from the room(s), to the food, to the color scheme we wanted. Our guests are still talking about how lovely the grounds were, how great the food was and how amazing the day was! We cannot give enough thanks to Michael, Sandra, Gary, Evelyn, Phil, Rose, Patrizia, Jerry and literally EVERYONE at the Westbury Manor!
