After having a negative experience at a different service center I was extremely grateful for the kindness and professionalism at the Westchester Toyota service center. They even found an issue that the other service center missed during a recent routine service. Thank you so much for your help!!!! I’ll be coming here for my services and any other issues from now on.
Service has gone downhill here. At least the professionalism of advisors. My advisor called to discuss the car but doesn’t respond and I keep saying hello, hello and all I hear is him talking to someone else in the room. Then he ends up yelling into the phone to come to room 6 and hangs up when I clearly told him at drop off that I would not be waiting in the waiting area. He texts me the same thing and then when I reply, he never responds. They used to top off all fluids when doing an oil change. I found when I got home after the oil change that my coolant is very low. I understood they found a small coolant leak which I said I will take care of next time but at least do the customer a courtesy and top it off for safety reasons so they aren’t left stranded on the side of the road. Now I have to top it off myself. Lastly, when waiting to pick up the car, most of the advisors are goofing off with each other. Mostly young staff now. Maybe that’s why or maybe inexperienced.
Very bad service. You bring your car in for a simple oil change and they always come back saying there are all these things going on with your car, make you nervous and obligate you to spend extra unnecessary money. This is an ongoing situation going on in this dealer and a lot of other people are constantly complaining about this situation.
I have to go often for various reasons. Yesterday I spent an absorbent amount of money. When they brought the car out I didn’t realize they left the hood up. I had to come back for them to close it. Supposed I wasn’t paying attention and got on the highway. Not sure if I would return. I travel a good length just to be dissatisfied.
Mad an appointment about 10 days ago with Westchester Toyota for oil change and to respond to recall for my second remote key.I arrived about 10-15 minutes late due to local traffic in Yonkers at 8:30am.I approached the counter , the counter person won’t even look at me. (Unprofessional, unshaved ) asked to wait in waiting area until one of service writer calls you. So I did , 10 minutes later I had to go back again to see if I can fast track (had Dr appointment @9:30)He said you need to speak with manager which happened to busy with another customer. On the meantime I looked at the service writer (2 of them were practically doing nothing , as a matter as fact one named Cara-Deluca was taking on her with her son asking him about the chicken fingers she’d bought for him. The counter person realises that and ask her to help me. I went to her disk while she’s still on her phone. I told her I’m here for Oil Change & to pic extra set of the remote key (she checked that through her system plus the later I have with me and said , ok leave car and we’ll contact you once done.I waited all day until I got a call from Cara-Deluca around 4pm and said ops I’m sorry your car is not ready Also said I’ll call you back soon . So I waited an hour and called back and she said oh we couldn’t finish the recall .. we’re actually unable to finish or help you , you need to call Toyota Corp.so I went to pick up my car , I found only the front counter person , he new nothing , looked for my service writer (she was no where to be found) someone else came with even look at my eyes asking me to follow him to CASHIER so they can give me (Paid) receipt, so I was able to get my keys from counter person. And drove a way to relies I still have Oil Change (Maintenance required message ) on my dash , didn’t change the mileage sticker on my windshield. In fact I don’t even think they have changed oil for car engine.Took my car for entire day to perform simple oil change and extra key. Inconvenient me and screw up whole day , and you send my text to get my reviewWELL HERE YOU GO : YOU SERVICE IS TRULY BAD AND UNPROFESSIONAL UNFRIENDLY, I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND WESTCHESTER SERVICE TO FRIEND & FAMILY. I don’t even they are worthy of the one star.
Had gone there for routine maintenance for a few years and brought my car there when it sprung a mysterious leak. They told me there was a clog in the sunroof drain that caused water to back up and create mold and told me it would cost almost $9,000 to repair. They told me I should file an insurance claim, which I did and the claim was denied. Wound up paying over $300 for just the diagnostic fee and did not have a car for 2 weeks in the process.I decided to bring it to Fordham Toyota for a second opinion and did not tell them anything about Westchester Toyotas estimate. They told me they could clean it and only needed to replace a few things, and could do it for $1,000. I showed them the WT estimate and they were shocked that they wanted to replace everything instead of cleaning.A few days later I got my car back, freshly cleaned and fixed. I will never set foot in Westchester Toyota again!!!
They stole cash and other things from my car. Beware of going to this place. Do not leave any belongings in your car. On top of that the manager just gave excuses and never even apologized. I came here because of company recalls. Otherwise I would never come in. Even then I should have chosen another dealership in hindsight.
The worst experience you can go through is taking your car to weschester toyota for service your car. The manager is a scammer. They give you a diagnosis of your vehicle to collect the money and it doesnt repair your car. They gave me 3 diagnoses of my car and the 2021 car still continues with the problem and I charge for my money when the car has a warranty and the worst thing I charge me for a job that never solved the problem and I didnt want to return my money. Read. I advise not to take your vehicle to that toyota
Workers in the front are doing a good job, but mechanics in the back are making this place and name toyota go down. 1st i had here after oil change scratch under the hood. 2nd i went back here my sideskirt is dent upward. Probably when theyre using the lift. Now the 3rd after they return the car for an oil change. The engine cap was loose after i checked it. And it was very messy because of the oil. Please dont put dirt on toyota name. Know who works good and supervise those who dont. I would always want to be sure in toyota not like this.
After speaking to Toyota headquarters they informed me that the dealership had no right to force a warranty on me in order to get Toyota financing. . I also noticed the dealership posted a template response for me to reach out to them, which I tried to do but neither their text receptionist or salesman would give me the GM contact info.I strongly urge all car buyers visiting this dealership to proceed with extreme caution. Don’t be overjoyed because they approved you. The devil is in the details.
First time servicing our 2021RAV4HYBRID with 1,668 miles since purchasing it. They did routine services: tire rotations; oil/filter changes; etc. They Do Not have a Service Dept. per say, like their Parts Dept.; it’s right in lobby as you enter. You have to listen to bickering 😕😕😣😣 of Intake Person (checking vehicles in) and Service Advisors, which is a Big Turn Off; and unprofessional!. This is why they get 4 stars for now!….🤷🏾🤷🏾🤷🏾🤷🏾
I dont understand why just for a tire replace you have to wait Olmos 3 hours and the representative say that she cant do nothing so i ask for a manager and he try to explain to me something that has nothing to do with my flat tire and he say dont care i say excuse me and he take it back I lose a day of work for something so simple I make a appointment for nothing i have warranty but next time I just pay 10 bucks to fix the tire in 15 min and not lose a day of work for it
I appreciate that I was able to get an appointment in a timely manner. Ve aware that the service area is closed so you cant wait for your car. I was supposed to get a rental if they kept my car overnight. They kept the car, we never got a call to say they were keeping it, and I tried reaching them several times on the phone but no answer. It cost me a day of work. I was disappointed since I have never had an issue at this location. They did fix the car to my satisfaction.
Hector Alvarez is very professional and very nice person. I will go back to him when my car will need maintenance. My cars door accidentally got damaged while they were doing maintenance and i was very upset about that because it is brand new car, Hector was vey helpful and he gave me the promise that they would take care the damage and would be the same like it was before so he did. Thanks to him.
Andrés was very nice and very helpful. Rodents destroyed the inside of my vehicle and he knew what to do and wasted no time in communicating all the steps I needed to take. Communication is very important to me and that is what he did best besides getting my car fixed and ready fast.
Glenn and the crew at Westchester Toyota did an excellent job with the headlight repair on my Toyota Corolla! They gave me a lift up to my place of business and dropped my car off when it was ready. They couldn’t have done a nicer job on my car! I will definitely use their services in the future!
I appreciated that they took me even though I was late getting there. I was not happy with what happened after, I came in because my parking brake notice came on and they were supposed to run a diagnostic on a brand new vehicle that I bought from their sales department. I came in at 10:45am and I was told that I would get a call telling me what was wrong and how long it would take for them to fix it.I called back at 3:30, no one called me all day, only to be told that the service person still could complete the diagnostic test and had yet to find out what was wrong with my vehicle. Then was asked if I could leave my vehicle but no idea for how long and no they did not have a loaner car to give me.If I wanted a loaner car I would have to locate another dealership that provided that service.I was very upset and disappointed by the dismissive attitude of my service representative.
Dont like that they didnt do a physical scan of your vehicle in front of you to check for damage. They do it out of sight maybe then when I got my vehicle back there seem to be a little scratches that I dont remember being there before. They were in the process of closing up shop so there was no one to talk to about it. The place is dark and everyone just seems to really rush you through. I would not recommend going here.
I would say this is the worst toyota service center I have been to. Came for an oil change for my toyota honestly just to keep it through Toyota, but the on)y difference I can see between a other oil change place is that 1) here it takes 2 hours instead of 10 min for an oil change and 2) they try to get you sign off on a full tire rotation and blahs blahs blahs for about 100.00 more than what you came in to do which brings me to 3) 60.00 bucks for a oil change under these conditions it just ridiculous. I guess I can say customer service is good but then again its probably so you can sign off on the extra charges and not realize it, which I did not....
A very smooth service. I was greeted well, told them why I was there, filled a document, and was asked to please seat while they work on my documents and I could also wait in their lounge until my car service was done. Andres Martinez, my service advisor made sure that all my information is correct, explained me well in detail about what was covered in the service. A very polite team hear at Westchester Toyota service center. Thank you!!!! :)
The service department is 1. Crowded 2. Disorganized 3. Inefficient. I walked in to drop off my car at my 11:30 appointment and the lady at the booth said what’s your name and vehicle, took my keys, then said I was good to go. So I have my ride come and pick me up to take me home. 1 hour later I get a call from Billy saying he needs me to go all the way back and pay and sign. First off, why didn’t they do that with me when I was there. Second off, every other service I’ve been to collects payment after they’ve rendered service and three, I was there for a safety recall and didn’t need to pay anyway if that’s what they were concerned about. So I get a ride back and wait for 20 minutes to be seen so I can get a receipt and sign that they did the work. The only reason I can here is because it was the closest Toyota dealership, but based on my experience I will drive farther next time to hopefully get better service. I included a picture at 4:30 to show how empty it was and because I was standing around doing nothing waiting to be seen. On the other hand, the parts guy was very quick and easy and helped me order my parts in five minutes. So for parts I will probably come back to this dealership.
I went this Morning to service my 2017 Camry. I came across this lady who I posted her business card. She was very obnoxious, wasnt any help but yet wanted to charge me a arm and a leg for unnecessary work. Felt as if this business has become corrupt. Mr. Orlando in service parts was very helpful with any questions I had. Toyota must do a better job in finding people that want to work for because this young lady surely doesnt represent the company well. Toyota customer sine 2003. The service advisor was great, what I did not like was when I initially called I made it clear that I simply needed a diagnostic they gave me one price but when I went in the price doubled. After the service advisor explained why it made sense but this should had been clear via the initial phone call. Also when I called I made it clear I would want to pick the car up the same day but the initial appointment was for Saturday I called before my appointment time to reconfirm if I could pick the car up and they said they dont know why they didnt tell me over the phone that Saturday drop offs usually are held until Monday due to lack of techs. I ended up bringing my car in on Monday instead and although I received a thorough check on the car the next morning my car didnt start the hazard lights button was in worse condition than I brought it in and the hazards were turning on on their own. I pressed the hazards light button and it completely fell into the console. Their shuttle only works from 9am to1pm and their hours of operations are from 730am to 7pm. I dont see the point of having a shuttle for such a small time frame compared to the length of time they will have customers coming in for service. They did fix the tire pressure that was great.
This review is for SERVICE ADVISOR TECHNICIAN (Mechanic) & CASHIERI brought my highlander in for Alternator issue, later i received a call from the service advisor that Alternator need to be replaced i asked if the replacement part will be new and i was told YES.later when i got home i open the car hood and saw the sticker on the Alternator stating rebuilt to Toyota standard which means not new.When i received a call to pickup my car the service advisor told me that i have one year warranty on this part, invoice stating 90 days or 4000 miles.also when i open the car hood i noticed that hose that is coming out of the radiator and going in to the reservoir was not placed back in to the reservoir (see photo)missing sticker for oil change on windshield which is customary.and also as many other people complaining about cashier, no manners or respect for the customer i blame the management, at minimum thank youwould be good.I will also contact service director Frantz Cssimir & customer relation Yesenia Rivera. (i have doubt if this complaint would be heard and reacted to) otherwise we will not hear same complaints over & over.
A 7:45 appt turned into my car not being finished until 11:15. Then I had to wait another hour just so they can bring me my car. The rates for labor are extremely high and since I live in the Bronx I thought that bringing the vehicle to the makers service center would be smart however the rates for labor and the wait time is not worth it. Sitting there for an oil change that takes 30 minutes at most at this center can take up to two hours. To me that screams inflated rates because you are charging for labor. Then the agent said that another mechanic was available so she had two people working on my car. Sounded like she thought she was doing me a favor. Never again will I go and pay more for labor than parts. Especially when it doesn’t take that long to get done what I had done. I would rather support the small businesses in my area then continue to bleed out hundreds of dollars for work that can be done for less than half of what your service center is charging.
Took six weeks to get a simple repair done on the splashguard- the representative in charge of our repair was deceitful at best and a thief at worst. After being told the car had no need for wheel alignment as thered just been a tire change, he then called my wife who didnt drop off the car and asked her to do the alignment stating it was necessary. After my wife informed me of the car I told her he was incorrect and had been told that already. We called back and he lied and said the procedure had been completed even tho it had barely been five minutes since he spoke with my wife. After being informed we would contest this charge he eventually removed it. He then forgot to order the parts necessary and it took a reminder from us after several weeks to finally get the part and schedule a repair. This was the kind of experience that makes you completely distrust auto repair and after almost twenty years of owning Toyotas we are no longer going to exhibit any brand loyalty and will make sure the company is aware that this experience has caused an irreparable rift as owners and consumers of Toyota products.
Very unprofessional. From the day of me going in to set up an appointment and being told to walk into a random back office where all the females just starred at their computers and didn’t acknowledge me, to them not getting the correct appointment date, to the lady helping me at my new appointment being EXTREMELY rude at 7am because I inquired about fees and services being done on my car, to me being told inaccurate information about when my car would be returned to me, the services that could be provided and being told the wrong price to pay in the end!!! Very disappointing, would not recommend!
We recently bought a used car from Westchester Toyota. Trinity helped me schedule an appointment. Pedro provided us professional advice and helped us make a good purchase. In addition, the people at the front desk made sure that we received the help timely. The service workers did an excellent job of making the car like new. Now, when using this lovely car, we appreciate the excellent service provided to us by Westchester Toyota. Thanks.
Best service ever!We all know taking your car to the dealer for service takes long. Not here as long as you have an appointment. But thats not even the best part... customer service is what makes the difference. From the moment you arrive to the moment you drive away you will feel nothing but satisfaction. At Westchester Toyota you will be taken care of by courteous professionals!
Fantastic place to trust with your Toyota. Worked with technician Jerry (I believe his name was?) and advisor Andres Martinez. Both were attentive, professional and caring to work with. Im sure if they are a reflection of the rest of the staff then anyone you work with would be the same. Very nice experience!
My son had an appointment for an oil change he was told it would take a few minutes. He went had lunch ran some errands at the stores with in walking distance. Over an hour later not done so he was being polite and waited. Three hours went by and nothing… the oil changed hadn’t been preformed. I finally picked him up from the service center, which if they had initially said it will be 5 or 6 hours I would have picked him up immediately. Extremely poor customer service.
I went in today for an inspection and oil change and was told the serivce would be 1 to 1.5 hours. 4 hours later I was able to leave with the service complete. The staff was friendly enough, but the service took much longer than it should have. This is now the 3rd time where the duration of service was much longer than I was told.
Surprised seeing the ratings are up. In reality I’ve been coming here since 2013 when my moms had to come here for her Toyota RAV4 and had terrible experience. Now as an adult coming here here for maintenance has been very well they take care of their maintenances and I never had to come back for a mistake (as of now). Yea there’s people in front of you no doubt but it’s a public service center. I find it amusing seeing people who complain about it.
Awful service, very disappointed. I just moved from TX to NY andbthe difference between the Toyota service centers here is unbelievable. I just can recommend you to find a mechanic elsewhere that doesnt want to rip you off for every single thing. And remeber this: DO NO BUY BATTERIES FROM THEM! If your battery under warranty fails, you will have to tow your whole car to their center in order to get service. They wont even check the battery that you can so easily transport there.
Mr. Vessey is the man to see if you need any maintenance on your vehicle, he will keep you informed on every detail and service being done. He will give you at estimate time on picking up your vehicle. He’s a friendly , kind down to earth person , professional advisor. No complaints on my behalf. The staff are polite and greet you every time. The waiting area is clean and roomy.
I don’t write negative reviews unless I am seriously dissatisfied with a business. I am very unhappy with this business, I have been bringing my car to them for four years and I got pretty sick of the appearance of the place and the service I received. The appearance is neither here nor there, but the service is unforgivable. I decided to go to the dealership I used to go to for service; mind you that it’s about 45 minutes away; and found out that Westchester Toyota was not only not doing the basic maintenance that is part of my service plan and important but also servicing expensive items on my car that were not necessary. I don’t ask for much in a business but if you can’t trust them they don’t deserve your business. It is unfortunate that they choose to operate this way but it is their loss. They have lost me as a customer and I will make sure to tell everyone not to go here. Do yourself a favor and take the trip to Curry Toyota for service, it’s worth it.
I went to pick up a part for my Rav4. I had checked the price online at Toyota parts center online and called prior to coming in and checked the price. But when I got there they try to charge me 28% higher. I called him out he pretended like I was given a wrong price. I wouldn’t trust them with anything.
Came to swap my brake pads. Was told it should take ~2-3hrs. After 2.5hrs (and was told that brake installation takes 2hrs usually) car was still hanging on the parking lot. Had to get out of there to pick up kids from school. Such a waste of time. Managers are nice people but time wise extremely inefficient service. Wont come back there again.
Let me start with obviously not every experience is the same and I’m all about being patient, reasonable, fair and transparent. I know with present times every place is affected differently and we’re all coping as best as possible. With that being said, being short staffed, appointments galore, lunch breaks, miscommunication, etc, facts which have existed long before this pandemic and excuses used as well, just don’t measure up to the professionalism a business/person/team should have and strive for. We are not perfect. “Human Error” as a one rep said. I get that. However, the fault of this place is their communication of the process and status of a 1st Toyota care on our 2021 highlander was non existent. Just take ownership and pride of your work. Keep a customer in the loop on the actual time of when a vehicle will be ready and if a mishap on time management occurs along the way a simple phone call with that update would be appreciated. With the right information a person can make the proper accommodations to avoid a frustrating environment, attitude from service reps with poor communication skills, and wasted time. Needless, to say we went through what others have already written about. 11:15am appointment pulled in at 11am and drove off at 2:15pm. During that process about 2 hrs of waiting I called in (went to walk at cross county with husband and 2 kids) for an update. Lady couldn’t give me any information because our rep is the only who knows whom wasn’t at the shop at the time, but she would pass the info along. We opted to just walk back and ask in person and arriving seeing our vehicle parked. A different team member said our rep was on lunch break. Again communication sucks. And could not give info if our vehicle was ready nor had access to keys. We waited. Another team member was then looking for our paperwork. Finally, found it and said another 20 mins. Waited. Then my husband gets a call asking if he had the car keys!! Keys took some time to be found. We finally got to see/meet who our service rep was. Who said multi point inspection was going to be conducted at that moment. Blamed loosing keys on human error, avoiding eye contact, taking other phone calls in the process of our frustration and said 40 mins and was highly overwhelmed, irritated and inconsiderate to our time. Walked around and our vehicle was on a lift being worked on. By far worst service experienced from a dealer. Very Poor Organization. Just unacceptable.
I totally recommend this dealership! It was a great experience and all the staff was professional and courteous. My service manager Jeremy Martinez was so polite, professional and helpful. He went out if his way to ensure I understood everything that was happening with my vehicle. I would definitely recommend this dealership.
I scheduled an appointment for service for my car online, I called to check on the confirmation and that Ill wait for my vehicle only to be told that my appointment was moved to another day. I scheduled an appointment from another dealership and canceled my appointment with Westchester Toyota very frustrated
The job that we asked for about tire rotation hasn’t been done. They charged me with the job done but we found out that the tires haven’t been rotated. We know for sure because we have a mark.I’m not sure if they did the change oil. That’s the last that I will use their service.
From the greeting in the parking lot to sitting down with a consultant, very professional and good value. I dealt with Victor Figueroa and he was above and beyond, even though it was Saturday and very busy he made sure I was taken care of in every way. Will definitely use them again and recommend, thanks!
I recently broke down in the middle of a 350mile road trip. I first tried to get the problem solved at a dealer in Connecticut that kept the car two days, said they couldnt find anything wrong with it, and sent me back on my way. The car broke down again 50miles later, luckily near Westchester Toyota. Despite it being the end of the business day, Willie got the car in right away and Jose immediately found the problem. Andreas got my paperwork set up quickly while they ordered the part. The next day, they kept me informed about what was happening when, got the part changed out under warranty and had me back on the road again. I was impressed by the teams commitment to quality, solid communication and willingness to go above and beyond for someone in a rough spot. If I lived closer by, I would only service my vehicles at Westchester Toyota.
I went there to do oil change, paid for it and when they were finished I checked the oil and my surprise was the oil was the same old, dark one. They did not change my oil. They robbed my money. Never go in there and if you go check the oil after it is changed because they are not doing the service like they supposed to. They are a SCAM. I’m very angry.
Terrible experience. They made wait for two hrs, to get my tires changed. But never did it, and couldn’t set up a new appoint. When I called service center to setup a new appointment they said the person I talked to doesn’t work there, after giving me his business card when I was there. And I still haven’t heard back from them. Terrible experience
I have one person who’ served me anytime anytime I go for service her name is Cara DeLuca. She always puts a smile on my face. Shes always happy to see me. She’s a good listener. She’s always asks how could she help with the problem? I believe she’svery knowledgeable for the position. She knows how to welcome customers.and she did it perfectly.
If I could give zero stars I would. They flat out lied and said I needed a parking brake service. I decided to take it to my local garage where I was told there was nothing wrong and no service was needed. They saved me $159! Just two weeks before that, Westchester Toyota tried to charge me $700 for two services that my local place charged $400 for. I am still under warranty for oil changes, so have to go there for that, but won’t let them do any other services. Also had a problem when they said a service was done and it turned out it hadn’t been. Run from this place as fast as you can.
The one thing that I can not stand is being lied to. Going to this location was perfect until I landed with Cara Deluca as my advisor. She stated that my 2016 Toyota Prius needed an Inverter flush ($179) and Hybrid battery filter ($299) every 15k miles. She explained in terms of MILES ONLY not years. Then I go and I do my research and come to find that the car will alert you with the “Hybrid drive system warning lamp”-Google this to see what it looks like-when you need this changed which is typically every 100k miles!!! Big difference from 15k. I had a conversation with the manager. He was very nice and apologized. He also explained that its every 100k miles or every 5yrs(Cara never specified years). But like I said the car will alert you when this needs to be changed and there was no alert on my dash. My advice: do your due diligence before you agree to any work being done on your car. Also request Jeremy Martinez for an advisor. He was very helpful and I’m hoping with him I can continue to get my car serviced honestly in the future.

He surpass my expectations by ensuring that I understood the services my car needed and that I was comfortable. Due to my superb encounter at Westchester Toyota, I will definitely recommend having Jeremy as your service advisor!Thank you Westchester Toyota.
Those people who manage the service center need to be trained on how to manage customers appointments. If each car will be serviced in 40 minutes and you are short in manpower, they dont schedule 10 cars to be serviced every hours. Just do the math it doesnt make sense. If I have appointment for 12 oclock, I would expect to be serviced without one hour but dont tell me we are overbooked and I have to wait additional 2 or 3 hours. The manager should establish communication between the person who does the schedule and the mechanics who are doing the service. I am not the only one who complains, I found other people waiting like me very frustrated.
On Friday 9/4 the manager on duty was nothing but rude, unprofessional and nasty! They confirmed my state inspection was covered by Toyota and he literally argued with me, took a degrading tone with me and told me he wont service my vehicle. I get a free oil change and they didnt even honor that. I regret buying a Toyota and wish customer service was good again. No one wants to work and no one works with the customer here. The stories I heard were true and experienced it for myself. Horrible place do not take your car there!
I didnt know what to expect since I havent gone in for service in a while ever since covid started. All I can say is that my experience was bar none the best. From the time I pulled into the lot , speaking with my service advisor Dijon Chavis and wait times. Dijon was hands down quick and professional. I will definitely come back for future car inspection or service. And the upgrades to the facility are very nice.Thank you
Do not trust the 20% coupon if you have a vehicle over 5 years old and/or 60,000 miles. The coupon does not always reduce your parts and labor cost by 20%. The coupon caps off at $100, regardless of how much you spend. If your repair bill is $700, you will not save $140, but only $100. Be sure to do the math yourself before signing paperwork. I checked the bill and carefully calculated the costs. The $100 cap is not listed on the 20% coupon on the Westchester Toyota website. I informed the Customer Relations Manager, Mabel, of this incident. She was definitely not qualified for the role since she her tone and response was of someone from the streets, not a professional working environment. She was extremely unprofessional and impatient to listen to my experience and quickly transferred me to a “senior” service advisor to explain the rules. This service advisor was equally impatient, unprofessional, and quick to twist words. That particular service advisor once tried to convince me to pay for a new engine air filter for $99 (a part that costs around $15-$25 the most) and install aftermarket brake pads for $300+ (Not Toyota parts).

I really like the service at this location! They are trustworthy, they will help you with discounts (if they can) and based on your inspection, if you ask them, the advisor will tell you the sequence repairs should be completed. Meaning brakes before driving belt, etc. If repairs will take awhile or an extra day, they tell you up front and may offer a rental car. Great place!
The mechanics were absolutely great, as far as the receptionist and cashiers they acted like I was doing them a favor bringing my car in. no courtesy or no response even after I had to say thank you for everything, not even a nod or something. Toyota should really do a better job with the front of house staff. the only reason why I will return is because of the free service on my new car.
HorribleI have tire insurance and you are expected to book an appointment to change a flat tire!!!The tire was not in stock either so it had to be ordered. I waited two hours and I am still riding around with a screw inside it because the tire did not arrive on timeTIRE PROTECTION PLAN is just one more way to get money off a car sale

I was satisfied with the repairs before an oil changed tires rotated 2 1/2 hours come on that’s ridiculous and you know that to where all your mechanics were standing around in the lobby come on Westchester Toyota gave you from 1 to 10 I give you a seven and that’s being kind
Every time i visit Service for maintenance on my Highlander, Mr. Hector always helps me out, that why i always look for him, he treat me as family, Pedro Areas, Don Franklyn, Oniel, Junior, Anil, Carlos, the casheer liliana, they are all the best. I recommend you this Service facility, just be patience, some times gets crowded.
This is my second time here, I got my Rav4 a year ago and moved to Westchester. I have to say that I am disappointed by the quality of the service in general, I mean they do their job: yes. However the tone of how most of the personnel address you and even more the cashier lady. This time I called their Customer Relationship Manager to have a word with her and share my experience. The cashier lady needs to learn how to greet customers and show herself willing to help and assist not like she is doing me a favor. Again my impression about this place is not good overall, and I will try to find another place to send my vehicle while it is within the Toyota care program, or is this common customer service from all toyota services? I had a completely different expectation when I got the car in the first place.
About two years ago we leased a Toyota Avalon and as part of our sales agreement we have been bringing in our car for service “ check ups” every 5 to 10,000 miles. As a result of the Coronavirus, I had been nervous about returning for my 25,000 mile check up but I’m happy to report that it was a very comforting experience! Kevin, my personal customer Representatve was masked and sitting behind plexiglass. The entire visit was organized to make me and all the folks feel safe. All the service visits are free and the staff and mechanics are impressive professionals and the car runs as perfectly as the day we picked it up at the dealership. Over the last 24 months, I’ve spent some quality time in the service center’s reception area. They used to offer free coffee and tea and hopefully once life resumes to a more healthier pace, they will resume that feature. They have added seating outside the reception area so customers can wait while being outside ! When the weather cooperates, I’ve gone for lovely strolls in the Cross County Mall that is adjacent to the service center. This morning I walked up the street to the entrance to one of the largest Stop & Shop supermarkets. I was able to buy a few groceries and then return when I received a call that my car was ready. Normally there is no charge for these vista but I encouraged Kevin to do the motor vehicle inspection, which cost me a total of $10!
I really should have paid attention to the reviews. I dont understand how its counterpart, the sales office, runs such a tight ship, and when you go to their parts and service location, you get bumbling, ineffectual management.I purchased my new 2017 Prius on October 10, 2017, with certain options, one of them being a protection package which included a protective film, door edge guards and rear bumper protector.When I came the first time, they added the little things I requested in my order: the coin cup holder, emergency kit and cargo net. After inspection of the car, I noticed that the protective film, bumper protector and door guards were not in place. I went to one of the consultants to explain my concern. He said he knew nothing about it and furthermore, I was informed that I dont drop off the car on a Saturday to get the protective film done as they have another service outside of their location doing this. They happen to be closed on the weekend, so I needed to bring it on a weekday. Disconcerting, but it happens.So I made another appointment for Friday, took a day off from work to specifically get this done. The service consultant immediately informs me that my protection package could not be installed because the company that installs the protective film would need to hold the car overnight for the film to set and dry the right way. Since theyre closed on the weekends, it would mean Id be without a car for the entire weekend.Frustrated that I now wasted two days for nothing, I explained that if they wanted to, they could pick up my car from work one weekday, get the treatment, and drop it off the next day, but I was not going to take more time off for this. And that they did. They picked up my car from the employee parking lot at my job. The next day, when they were supposed to return the car by early to late morning, I received no communication as to when I could expect to have my car returned.I was growing frantic as no one called me back and I was ending my shift, stranded at work, with no car to drive myself home. Finally, I receive a call an hour past the end of my shift, from the agent at the sales office (not the service and parts office). He explained that he didnt like the way they installed the protective film on the car and proceeded to spend the entire afternoon stripping it off and cleaning it. He offered an apology and service recovery, but the damage was done. I cant understand why it took a representative from the sales office to notice that the work was not done to professional specifications. This solidified that the parts and service location was unprofessional, shoddy and non-communicative. Its disheartening when you give chance after chance for an establishment to make the situation right and they disappoint each time. Never coming back here again.
I just completed the first service on my 2020 Rav4 today. The service was terrible. I walked in at 11, my appointment time was 11:15. I was told to go stand outside next to my car in the 90° heat until I could go inside and meet a service advisor. Hector Alvarez was my service advisor. He told me that once my car was ready that he would call. He advised that it would take 2 hours to complete. No calls ever came. It’s the hottest day of the year and there’s no air conditioning in the building. At 3:00, after almost 4 hours of waiting, I decided to check the Toyota app to see when the last time my car moved. The last update on my app was 1:33. My car was already done for an hour and a half and NO ONE CALLED. I asked at the service check in for my car because I’d been waiting 4 hours already. I was told Hector was on his lunch break but my paperwork was all completed. Really terrible service here.
By far the worst locating in East Coast. If you don’t believe me find out yourself. Get a price for the service you need to be done in Westchester Toyota and than call Rockland, Mt Kisco ..... it it will cost you half of not more. I reached out WT on Wednesday April 7,2021 to find out the price to install Running boards on my new suv. Now as a mechanic it takes me hour the most to install them but not to void warranty Westchester Toyota told me it will take 4.5 hours which is $585. (Rockland and other Toyota dealers charge 1.5 hour.Westchester Toyota service department ripping people off. 6 month ago did experiment changing oil with them. I marked oil filter and expected to see new one. They never replaced oil filter.Hope the review helps.
I was simply looking for an inspection but everyone was either not doing inspections that day, out to lunch or very busy. I forgot this location was here so gave them a call, the girl said come in. However, when I got there I was told one and a half hours wait. I explained to Billy that I had called and explained and the girl told me I can come in they were not busy, and I had to go to work in 2 hours. Billy apologized and said give him a moment, he went in the back and check and let me know he would squeeze me in. Thanks to Billy i got a simple task done in a timely manner. Even if he came back and told me he could not do it, I appreciated the fact that he did not mislead me and did it right by making sure. Thank you Billy I will bring my Camry back when its time for service. If only I could bring my other car there too.
First of all, I have gotten my car serviced at this location before and have had moderate wait time. My main concern is with how much should someone wait. I guess it depends on what youre getting done. I dont expect to wait 4 hours for an oil change. Which is what happened on my previous to last visit. If you have an appointment, why must you wait for so long? I wish they had some kind of system that would allow you to see where your car is in the service process while you wait. Instead of waiting blindly for hours. I didnt give them a one star because I understand that mechanics can only work on a few cars at a time. And the staff has always been friendly and gracious. No complaints on the staffs attitude. However, there is room for improvementm in the waiting department. I wouldnt schedule any other appointments the day you go get your car serviced. Its an all day thing. My last visit was a tire rotation and coolant flush. I came in at 11:30am and as I sit in the waiting room it is now 3:15pm and nothing yet. Maybe this service takes longer than an oil change.
Aside from the good pricing and excellent customer service this place has, i want to highlight the attention provided Hector Alvarez, he noticed my car paint problems and approached me with the information that my car had a recall for the paint, i got now words to describe how happy i am with the service provide by Hector, any body that has a Toyota this is the place to go, totally recommend this place.
I sometimes have a love/hate relationship with Westchester Toyota. That’s changed recently. In December I got my routine check with Billy and he gently let me know what services I was do for. He was upfront about what I should absolutely get and what I could hold off on.I was impressed so fast forward to now in June when I was due for routine again and specifically requested him. He again laid out my costs for me and answered my questions about lock repairs I’m holding off.It’s nice to have an advisor I trust so will be requesting Billy for my future visits.
Great experience and perfect service until check-out. On check-out at the moment the mechanic brought my car - it took another half an hour to release it. And that it because the manager decided to take the major part of employees to the meeting. Actually the service center was receiving new customers without being releasing customers that are good to go. As a result full line of cars in check out and overcrowded waiting area.
I had my car serviced here on Monday and was extremely pleased with such professionalism. As soon as I walked in I was greeted in a friendly matter, unlike other places where u have to walk around to figure out where to go before you get noticed....other than that I really enjoyed my experience especially since it was my first time there. My service consultant was Hector Alvarez, the guy is awesome. He didnt sugar coat anything or beat around the bush he did exactly what he needed to do and got to it and for that he deserves credit where credit is due, so nothing but respect to you Hector and thanks for your amazing service, I really appreciate it!
Update: there are 2 sides to every story and it is great that we live in a country that respects freedom of speech. Since the time of my post (which i wrote during my 3 hour wait at the service center). The facility let me leave thinking that the part for my car was being ordered. They then canceled the order without telling me. It is easy to say that a woman is assertive when she stands her ground. My recommendation remains the same. It is very slow here. Be prepared to wait. It might be worth driving further away to have more personable service.The exact timeline:Friday: 9 am arrival, wait for 45 min to be checked in wait until 11: 15 for the diagnostics. 12:30 left thinking the part was on order. Called Monday at 9:30 am to find out that since I posted anunprofessional review the part order was canceled and I should go to a different dealer.Original post:Very slow. Not a comfortable waiting room. Waited for 2 hrs (even though I had an appointment) to have the car begin its diagnostics. There are much better Toyota Service centers that have better customer service. The others are worth the longer drive.
Visited this dealership for the first time and I have to say everything went perfect. Was greeted with welcoming faces and was sat down with the service rep Glenn which was more than professional, he attended to me as if I was his only customer that day even though I obviously wasnt as the waiting room was full. I thought I would be there for a long time but to my surprise I was out in a little less than an hr. Great service keep up the good service. Will definitely be back and will ask to work solely with Glenn Veras! Keep up the great customer service!
Horrible service. Came in for apple car play complimentary upgrade, specifically asked the service person if they needed the usb port to do upgrade. He didnt know. I proceeded to inform him the usb is not working. He asked me to leave the car and after an Uber ride home, I get a call to pick up my car because the upgrade cant be performed. I wonder what went wrong???? Could it be THAT THE USB DOESNT WORK!!!!! LIKE I SAID IN THE FIRST PLACE!!! What a waste of time!!!! Dont go here. Stay away!!!
I had the pleasure of working with Dijon twice. He was very professional and knowledge. He was able to answer all of my questions and review information with me. I would definitely recommend him for anyone who goes there to get their car serviced. He offers the best customer service.
My girlfriend used to work for Toyota and they made her come up with fake emails in order to leave 5 star reviews. Its all BS!They wanted to replace my friends transmission on his corolla. $1,000s of dollars. He instead took it to a local mechanic, and it cost $150 to replace a bracket.Dont trust 5 star reviews.
I dropped off my vehicle and was promised that I would get it back the same day. However, I realize that no one called. So I called and was told that the person who served me when I dropped off the car went home and that I can pick up my car the next day. I got a ride to Toyota and when I arrived was told that my car was ready. This was very unprofessional, no one called to say that the car was ready. This is my second worst experience with this place
Wow - in the day of social media, its surprising to find such a horrible place still remains to stay in business. This place is the classic example of what gave car dealerships such a bad name in the bad old days!A year ago I swore never to go back to this place for service because I was subjected to the classic bait and switch scam. I went in with a $14.95 coupon for an oil change but its the free 20 point inspection you need to be careful about. Of course, they found $350 worth of repairs that need to be done immediately. When I told them I wasnt interested, he said he could take 15% off the bill and did the hard sell about how my car really need new brake pads, etc., so I agreed to let them do the work...I should have looked at the bill more carefully but, the next day I noticed they charged me $84 for WIPER BLADES!!!! There is absolutely no accountability here as no amount of complaining I did could make them refund any portion of my bill.Ah well, live and learn, they suck and Ill never go back - right?! Wrong...Chapter 2 begins with a recall statement for my car which required me to go back to this dealership. The statement claims the job would take 1 and 1/2 hours. When I made the appointment, they said it might be more like 3 hours. When I dropped the car off, they told me it might be more like 4 hours. After waiting for 5 hours, I wanted to complain but, my representative was always helping other customers. He did his best to ignore me but finally he told me my car was almost ready, sir...As I approached the 6 hour wait, I became late for work (I work nights) and demanded they take me home with their shuttle so I could take my wifes car to work. Suddenly, my car appears, but NOW he tells me that they ran into problems with the job and had to order parts (they knew all along I was coming in for this recall - why didnt they order the parts ahead?). Had he told me about the problem when they first found it (presumably hours before), I could have made alternate plans but there is absolutely no consideration for their customers time at this place. So, I have to go back again tomorrow for them to finish the job...to be continued...
I always use the Westchester Toyota, located at 75 Vredenburgh Avenue, Yonkers, NY. My service manger, Cara Deluca-Irizarry is very professional and courteous. She always has a pleasant attitude and is very knowledgeable about anything I ask her. It’s such a pleasure to deal with a service manager like her who tells you exactly what’s needed and what type of service is best for your vehicle. I have had five Toyota vehicles in my life and Cara Deluca-Irizarry is the best service manager I have ever dealt with.

Today was a great day! I had scheduled previous appointments at Westchester Toyota for a 20K maintenance but was unable to make them until today. The staff are knowledgeable, patient, and demonstrate the utmost professionalism. My representative, Glenn Veras, was a stellar example of the type of customer service representative that would make any business successful. From start to finish, the work that was conducted on my vehicle was explained thoroughly and any questions I had were answered. I will definitely be back for follow up maintenance.

I bought my car in for service a couple weeks ago for the first time, and I could not be happier with the level of customer service I received! I dealt with Willie and he took the time to go over with me the work that was done and explained the bill. Awesome service department! My service advisor Anabel Sanchez was extremely nice and polite got me in and out in no time. I will be recommending this service department to family and friends but specially Anabel herself because she was very attentive and answered all my questions with great knowledge.
On a Saturday, I stopped in with my Toyota making a loud racket coming from the vicinity of the radiator fan, but car was not overheating. I asked if a service tech could look and tell me if it was safe to drive a short distance home or if it needed to be left for major repair. I was told yes, and asked to take a seat. One HOUR later, another customerservice person starts paperwork for Monday appointment, saying that theres no one on a Saturday that can evaluate the car, only techs who change oil, rotate tires, not real mechanics. I took the car around the block to a real Master repair shop where the owner took a look and found that the fan housing had been jarred a little out of kilter, so he tapped it back into place. 2 minutes. I will NEVER go back to Westchester Toyota. Poor communication and terrible customer service, and no understanding of triage.
I was very frustrated by the length of time for my visit. I arrived at 8:20am, and did not leave until 11:30am....all for just a oil change, tire rotation, and inspection renewal.I was told upon my arrival that itd only be an hour, hour and a half tops. It then took twenty minutes for them to bring my car around after I had paid at the cashiers window. Everyone else in the waiting room also looked angry and the whole situation was completely ridiculous.Luckily my job was understanding but I couldve been in a very bad scenario if they were not. I will not be coming back.
Regardless of what the issue is Hector Alvarez saves the day and takes matters into his hands. He is always available and willing go the extra mile so that I can understand what the problem is and what will be done to solve it, giving specifics and details. This info was very helpful and I felt as though he genuinely cared for my vehicle while taking into account my expenses. I felt very comfortable spending my money with Dijon. Hire more employees like this young gentleman .

I am writing this satisfaction note about the excellent service I received from Anabel Sanchez. I brought in my 2011Toyota Camry for service with a series of other problems. I was so worried but with the excellent service and professionalism of Anabel the problem was solved and I felt very well received and gotten my monies worth with all her recommended service. I would recommend all my friends who service their Toyota cars Westchester Toyota to see Anabel. I thought I had my monies worth and beyond. I wish there are many more service reps like Anabel.
I went for a routine oil change and the service was amazing as always. A young man named Glenn Veras was so helpful. He explained exactly what the process was and assisted me throughout the whole time. He was very attentive and knowledgeable. I will for sure set up my next appointment with Mr. Veras!
I took my vehicle in today to be serviced. Willie Vesey was my service advisor. He was very funny and really took time to explain what my vehicle needed. Usually, being a single women I dont like going to dealer because I feel like they take advantage of you. But willie really took his time in explaining the different services I needed and why it was important. I will be coming again to Toyota and I am very grateful to this man. I really think he is a great asset to this company and would recommend anybody to go see Willie at the service department in Toyota.

She answered all my questions with great knowledge which I appreciate very much because I know nothing about cars. If I could rate this place a zero, I would.EVERYONE SHOULD STAY AWAY FROM THIS DEALER. DO NOT GET YOUR CAR SERVICED HERE!!!!I recently had some experiences with the service department that will keep me away from these liars and thieves.The first experience was when I took my car in for routine maintenance and asked for a tire rotation as part of that maintenance. I am usually skeptical of dealers and so I marked up my wheels to ensure that I would know if they were done. I got the car back and the rotation wasnt done. I let it go and got it done elsewhere and let them have the benefit of the doubt that they could have forgotten.Todays experience however, is the last straw. They tell me I have a nail in my sidewall and that I have to replace the tire over the phone. They tell me that it is on a spot that is not repairable and being on the sidewall, I would agree. But I was skeptical and so I tell them not to do anything and I took the car to a tire shop. They confirm that their is a nail in the tire except that it is in the tread and very small. They say that it is 100% repairable and go about fixing it for $20.These crooks at Westchester Toyota just tried to get more money from me on an over priced tire. It would have cost me $249 according to them.They also try to sell me a coolant flush and a brake fluid change on a 2 year old car. Ridiculous! If they only recommended it, I would be OK with it. But they were trying to sell it hard.I cant stress it enough, these guys are liars.This place is crooked and insane.STEER CLEAR OF THIS PLACE!!!!!
Worst service ever, if i could leave 0 stars, I would. Wasted two days trying to get my car serviced for recall, and didnt even get it done in the end. First day I dropped off the my car at 7am and they didnt tell me until the afternoon that they didnt have the part for the recall and needed to order it. Second time, after the ordered part came, dropped off the car at 7am, came back to the shop at 5pm and they had not even to touched my car. Didnt even apologize. They dont care about the customers

I had a great experience today at the weschester Toyota service center. Caroline Monegro was very professional. Since my car was out of warranty they were able to give me some amazing deals in order to get my car serviced. The team worked quickly and efficiently to get me in and out in a timely fashion.
Provided wrong turnaround eta.No shuttle or loaner service.When inquired about basic info, such as other westchester Toyota dealership locations, my advisor, Kevin, looked at me sideways, even when I showed him the available online info.Overall, bad vibes and dismissive of client.Wasted an hour of my day.Would def not recommend. U get much better help, amenities and loaner service at parkway Toyota imo.
Ive been getting my car serviced here since 2007, when I first purchased my Corolla. Ive always dealt with Willie Vesey and never had a bad experience. I always feel like the sevices my car require, have been thoroughly explained to me and justified in price. 9 years later and Im still a loyal customer, if you discount the occasional oil change. No complaints here!
Willie Vesey and mechanic staff provide excellent customer service. Anytime theres an issue with my car, able to get an appointment with no problems. Mr. Vesey has provided quality car service for all of my Toyota vehicles close to 12 years. Always come to him and recommend his team for service.

2022-02-28I decided to come to this location after being ripped off in the Bronx. I have to admit that the rep was very transparent and explained exactly what would be done. She was also very friendly and pleasant as well. I was there for about an hour and my car is running much smoother than it was. I only needed an oil and filter change but because I have high mileage, they did a quick inspection. I left feeling satisfied with the service. I would definitely go back and I would also recommend this location to anyone else I know with a Toyota vehicle.

2022-05-28Today was not cheap, but Willie and Glenn were great at talking me through what was needed. I feel like it’s been an important day for keeping my car in the best shape to last me another ten years. Service was great and I feel like I got first class treatment. The payment plan options are definitely helpful to soften the blow. Very grateful for Westchester Toyota today.

2022-01-25Today I had a appointment for service at 8:15 a.m. Andre was the representative who took note of my concerns, explained what would be serviced on my vehicle and let me know what my wait time would be-1.5 hours. I was actually called about 10 minutes before the estimated time. This service location was clean front the entrance to the bathroom! The complementary coffee area was not available due to the pandemic, but its understandable. I came prepared with my own 😂. Junior who greets you upon entering was also amicable and very helpful. All the reasons above are why I choose this location when theres one in the Bronx. No, thanks. Id rather come here.

2022-06-15It was my first time at this location. I went because I had a few questions in regards to my new vehicle and a part I would need to purchase. I ended getting my vehicle inspection and I would say that they definitely have great customer service. Everyone from the parts expert cashier to the services personnel was knowledgeable and went above/beyond their duties to try to help expedite the procedure. The service overall was pretty quick thanks to Mr. Andres Martinez. Great service.

2022-01-28Im very satified with the work done and professionalism shown by all. They took care to cover the steering wheel the floor as well as the seats and all points of contact. 2022-01-14Took car in for 1 year service.When scheduling, I was told that they had a complimentary shuttle service that could drop me off and pick me up from any location within 10 miles so that I didnt have to wait at the shop. Great.Once I get there to drop my car off, Im told that they only drop off within 5 miles. My location was 8 miles away, and I needed to get back, so I had to pay for a cab.I called in as if to schedule an appointment and was again told that they provide shuttle service up to 10 miles away. Once my car was ready, I called in and told them what scheduling had told me. Again they said that was wrong, and that they dont even do pick ups at any distance, only drop offs. So again had to pay for a cab.Its disappointing that they give out wrong information, otherwise customers could plan things out better. Its even more disappointing they refused to do anything to make up for their mistake, which ended up costing me a decent amount in cab fare.

2022-05-27Been going here for over 10 years. This was one time of a more recent trend where they dont call to tell you the car is ready. I waited all day - the representatives who deal with the customers were gone. After leaving car at 7am for simple oil change & maintenance, I had to call after 6pm to find out whats up. Of course the car wad ready. Just nobody bothered to call.

2022-03-25I worked in the auto industry for 13 years. Companies with great leadership are easy to spot, customers flock to them and they grow and grow. First time here but I’m sure this place is a market leader. Seamless experience from arrival to departure. Fair price. Service writer (Cara-Deluca) was a highlight -professional/charismatic. She took into account my upcoming appointment and made for an easy and enjoyable experience. I’ll be back.

2022-03-16If you want to waste your time making calls and being transferred to several service people who cannot locate your name, phone number, or VIN after ten years of repeated business, this is the place for you.I had come in three times to replace the horn on my highlander, each time the parts were not there and I was promised they would be delivered by my next appointment. Those were all false promises. I will never go to this location again, and am not inclined to ever purchase a Toyota. The White Subaru and Honda repair offer an excellent alternative.
