I purchased items recently and three of themwere unusable. My cold cuts were rotten, thebread was hard and the flowers wilted quickly.Their products are of poor quality. I also hada hard time finding a cart that rolled properly.I think that because its located in a mostlyBlack community, the items are not as freshas they are in other stores Ive shopped atin Queens.
Brought items from there just to get home and realize the cheese was molded and the expiration date said September 2021so that was odd. Clearly they don’t check the food before putting it out. Front ends are very rude! Please retrain or replace them.
Great place to go during off peak hours. There are organic produce and products but may not be as much as stop and shop or whole foods. So if you want to pay more for organic items this is not your spot. If you want great prices for bread and other stuff this is your place 👍🏻
Not the most reasonable place to purchase groceries but definitely a variety we’re visiting for..
The cashier did not care about a customer at all. In fact she really didnt do her job right I hope when I go to that store again I would never encounter that lady she was not nice at all Toyota Corolla

Local supermarket. Usually pretty crowded. The prices on many items are not as good as some of the bigger supermarkets in the area. But on some of the more targeted items for local communities you will be able to find what youre looking for at a reasonable price.
It was a good experience with seem to be polite staff or maybe I was there on a good day plus reasonable prices and lot of hard to find goods😍😍😍
The butchers in the meat department needs to hose down and clean the cutting machine after every use, I shouldnt have to see lil pieces of other meat in my case of chicken, especially if I dont eat those other meats
The cashier were pleasant the selections are sale stickers are obvious and visible However,at times I had difficulty telling prices for various non sale items.My bill was in $300 but the selections were fresh and tons on variety.

I have been shopping at western beef for a few decades. It has been a fixture on farmers blvd for a long time now.the store is pretty spacious, and they have a meat market inside as well.They also have some good sales sometimes.you can buy alot of different western beef brand products, that are the same as the name brand merchandise. And it is also cheaper. You will save a little bit.And this is only one of a hand full of super markets in the area. Right between Jamaica and st albans .
Reasonable prices for a one stop shopping experience.take your time to shop here and youll realize the same items different brands work out cheaper for your pocket.
This place has small aisles, feels like Im suffocating when theres more than 1 person beside you in the aisle. The lines are unbelievably long and the cashiers moves like snails... They have great variety of items(they always have the newest products on the market) to pick from, which is the only plus about this place.
The store repairs are done early 2018. They finally look like a awesome looking store. It has a good parking lot. It can be a pain to find one during certain hours.The store is simple and easy to find things. You would have no problem finding what you need here.

Its a smaller supermarket that has some products youll find at a lower price, and other items that you wont find in other stores.
This supermarket is always well stocked. The staff is friendly and helpful, checkout however is where they loose points... They never ever have enough cashiers and as a result the lines are always super long and a huge lesson is frustration... Ashton Ramlogan

Because of the snow in NYC and the cold the store was not crowded. But the associates were friendly and helpful. And I was in and out in a timely manner.This is one of my favorite supermarkets in the area.
Its an experience. Im surprised by what the ladies who shop here wear, than what is on the shelves. It meets my needs when Im shopping for cheap cuts of meat. Parking can be a hassle since they closed one of their parking lots. Pricing on the fresh vegetables is reasonable. Be prepared for long lines on the weekend and around the major holidays. Clientele here is mostly west indian, things(shopping lines) may move at a slow pace sometimes, so take a deep breath and relax.
Mostly all the vegetables were bad and it didnt really have all the things I needed. It used to be good back then. I guess time changes
Great place for groceries shopping, you will find great deals and savings, great selection of Caribbean groceries items. My last visit there was very unpleasant this place is in need of serious renovation roof was leaking and caused several aisle to be closed.***be prepared to wait in line for very long checkout***

Ghetto ass store, check your bags outside store where they can be easily stolen. Rotten meat usually the chicken. Pointed out to worker in meat section. I think they removed it. 8 or less items not understood by shoppers who wait in said line with 20 items and cashir says nothing. I only gave them 2 starsfor variety and nice prices.
The meat is fresh but they dont have small portions. I dont need to buy 10 to 20 chicken legs. I would shop there more if the portions were for 2 people.
Wonderful supermarket in my neighbourhood. Quality fruits, vegetables and meats in stock.shopping in one place is exceptionally good.
Cashier on 2 and tbe helpers outside cant keep their masks on. Cashier an okder wiman with glasses and braids said it gave her alergies she didnt have before the mask. Thats why she has a cough now. I was thinking to muself she should STOP RUNNING HER MOUTH THEN. NOT SAFE HERE.

It had all the items on our shopping list. The butcher was great and trimmed and cut our skirt steak. We tipped after he accommodated us w/o a face or attitude. Cheers
That store is the worst! Never enough cashiers to accommodate the customers! Fresh fruit is always damaged and is substandard. Shameful because they would not be able to remain open if they existed in other parts of town.

Organized and much cleaner than fambria on linden! Only issue I havve, are the men at the entrance and my 7year old son being told he has to leave his bag pack at the entrance as if we came there to steal!!! That had me pissed!
Its alot brighter inside lol. I suggest when you purchase any beef products, be prepared to cook or freeze it RIGHT AWAY. Do not let it sit for more than a day.
They prices sometimes are too much. I dont understand how these prices be a lower to middle class neighborhood but in a middle to higher class neighborhood they are much cheaper. This is crazy. Taking advantage of minorities in the area.

Long lines, would flow with more cashiers. What can be done with rude people attempting to jump the lines? Also, enforcing handicap parking violations would help. Prices are competitive.

Clean didnt smell bad. Service was good. I was looking for ground Chuck. I was told that they did not really have ground shoulder but mixed whatever beef together. And called it Chuck. Not honest. It is in fact fraudulent.
This store has the filthiest shopping carts I have ever seen at a supermarket.I have spoken to the manager twice about washing the carts but they seem not to care.Avoid shopping here if you can.
Good atmosphere friendly staff. The only problem is there should be more cashiers especially when it is crowded. Otherwise to that its ok and i would definitely come again.

4 Stars for the Excellent prices and quantity you get on the poultry and meats...unfortunately the rest of the market groceries are inflated. Thats where it loses me for a perfect 5 stars.

Large selection of meats and poultry. They have a deli department and fish department. There are many spices. And a large selection of fruits and vegetables. I like shopping here. Although you could get very crowded.

My kids call it the stinky meat place. Almost everything is 3 for 10; even the Stovetop stuffing. Always crowded but its worth it for the big bag of chicken leg quarters for 8 to 10 bucks.
They never have enough cashiers. The front end Supervisor is horrible and lazy and the meat , especially the chicken and pork, are 50/50 chance that its not spoiled
Most people consider Western Beef a ghetto supermarket, but it is not. With competition every year with other Supermarkets in the area, Western Beef continues to get better.
Lots of variety of food for all different cultures, including fresh produce. Too many men sitting at the entrance hitting on grown women trying to go about their business.

2022-03-18I visited this location today for charcoal and chicken, workers were lazy and didn’t want to assist me, very argumentative even while they are WRONG in the situation, I get home to prepare to grill the chicken I purchased to open the double wrap package and realize the meat is bad, stunk up my entire kitchen. I am traumatized. Scared to buy meat from markets now because I don’t know if it’s bad or not. Definitely will not ever spend my hard earned money here ever again and I will be encouraging others to do so as well

2021-12-05Prices have definitely been on the rise since the pandemic. Not saying they are price gouging but their meat section has definitely gotten pricey. There are cheaper options like Stop & Shop and Key Food not too far in distance.

2020-03-06I purcahse yesterday two trays of pork ear and today that I wanna cook I see that this was rotten smell bad so throw to the garbage so make sure that the meat u buy smell and looks good try to smell outside the big refrigerator cold places u can smell and see the difference

2022-03-23Where to begin... The Produce department is lacking in fresh produce. Most of the fruits and vegetables are frozen to keep them fresher longer, you ca feel the difference when you pick up a frozen apple or orange which I have done in the past. You can also SEE the difference in coloration, and the taste and texture. The Deli is ridiculously understaffed, and the new deli man cant slice or package your cold cuts to save his life! My pound of ham comes out looking like a loaf that needs to be sliced. Most items are priced high, and the Sale items are priced much more than you would find elsewhere. Good luck finding fresh bread in the Bakery! They too, are under staffed. Dont bother complaining to Management, it will get you nowhere. Ive spoken to the front end Manager and the Store manager and his assistant, and they hardly respond to you. A word to the wise, if you dare enter the Meat/Butcher freezer, hold your breath! It really smells foul in there! Be careful where you walk, there is usually juices from various meat products dripping or spilled on the floor. My advice to the Owner...Hire new help from the Top Store Manager, down to the very unhelpful store clerks and other employees. Ill gladly help you out with that! Good luck, and Shopper beware!

2021-12-01I purchased Danish crown Chitterlings on November 23 it took 3 days for them to defrost. We cleaned and cooked them on Saturday they were spoiled. I contacted the store spoke with a young man who was clueless and all he said its nothing wr can its your lost not ours. I request to speak with a manger I spoke with Kamara who also said it was nothing they can do my lost there gain. Iam going to the BBB and contacting my attorney. Its the Principle I spent my hard earned money 83.97 . This is how they treat me.

2021-11-24Their prices are too high. Thanksgiving they spray down the collard greens with water. Bag them up and cost more. The lady from London on the register nasty attitude and been there for years. This place over price every thing. Smh
