We had a great experience with Westfair Water Systems. Our reverse osmosis water system was noticed to be leaking late at night. I placed a call the next morning and instead of hearing the normal “let me check my schedule” all I heard was how can I make this service call happen today. I hope I am getting Lisa’s name correct but I have to say she was great. A true example on how to keep customers and have your current customer speak the praises of your company. I know that schedules don’t always work out but it was refreshing to hear a company genuinely trying to make the repair happen ASAP. Next, it’s always a roll of the dice when your repair technician shows up but in this case John P. was well trained technically and refreshingly courteous and health conscious. I can not praise John enough. The repair was done quickly but he showed a confidence in his abilities to do the job. Everyone knows what it feels like to have a repair technician in your house and know after a few minutes you have more knowledge from surfing google than the technician doing the work. Lol. Definitely not the case with Westfair Water Systems. A GREAT EXPERIENCE PERIOD!!!’

Im really impressed with the service I got from Westfair Water Systems. Greg was really helpful when he came over and explained everything calmly and patiently. The installation was a breeze. They were out of the side panels for the filter and promised to ship them to me asap. I was pleasantly surprised when they showed up in mail few days later without me following up. Definitely would not recommend. Guy came to my house to assess - more of a salesman than anything else. Seems like asking for Saturday appointment is the end of the world to them so if you work during the week, good luck having an installation done. Had to call them 3 separate times because they promised they would let me know if a Saturday was even possible. Each time they answered, they said someone would call me back. Then finally the worker/salesman who came to my house called me with an attitude that I should be flexible with my schedule. Thats when I knew I would not use their services. They gave me an expensive quote to begin, so probably for the best that their customer service detoured me away from using them.
Westfair always provide excellent customer service. I’ve met quite a few of the technicians over the years and they are all very good. FRANK who owns and runs the company also gets involved and is reliable. I would recommend these guys to anyone

This place is a rip off. They serviced the kinetico water softener system which they installed couple of years back. But the service do nothing other than trying to sell another new system. This is the same way what they tried when i serviced last year. While installing it was told to us that its the best softener available in the market and has life of 20 years. I spent almost $6000 , the unit is under 10yrs and its did not soften water. The TDS never was lower than 400ppm from the beginning. Every time they will say it will reduce after couple of cycles. Every time you call them its $200. Dont ever install Kinetico nor use wayfair.
We’ve used Westfair Water Systems for 20+ years now and they continue to provide exceptional service. We recently requested that they re-plumb some of our water equipment (at no fault of their own) as we needed to make more space in our utility room. We gained the extra space we needed, it looks fantastic, and the tanks and filters are now super accessible. Morgan, the technician who performed the work, was excellent and such a great representative of the company. He’s so personable and knowledgeable and takes the time to demonstrate and explain in detail how to use and maintain the equipment. I’ll also mention that the work was done for a very nominal charge, even though I asked them to do more work beyond the original scope when they arrived. It says a lot about the owner and the respect and consideration he has for his customers. We look forward to another 20+ years!

I called Westfair after moving into a new home with a well. I have never had a well before and did not know anything about how it works. Frank and his team came and tested my water and were very patient in explaining everything to me. They were professional from beginning to end. The team first put in a reverse osmosis filtration system. I noticed an immediate change in the quality of our drinking water in terms of taste and I also use it for cooking, washing fruits and vegetables, etc. I felt more comfortable knowing that my water was clean, especially for my children. The system itself takes up very little room under the sink and does not require any maintenance really from us. I was so impressed with Westfairs work that I had them come back to replace my water softener system, well tank, etc. They were quick, clean, and did a thorough job. After the new system was put in, I noticed a big difference in how our clothes came out of the laundry, shampoo lather, and there was no more residue coming out of my pipes from the water previously being too hard. I would highly recommend this team of professionals. I found their pricing to be competitive, and they were also great to work with in terms of responsiveness and professionalism.
We recently moved into a home that had hard water. After months of buying bottled water, spending time and money, carrying hundreds of gallons from the store to the car to the house (and think of all the plastic!), we finally looked into a solution and called Westfair Water Systems due to the positive online reviews - we are so glad we did! The very patient and helpful lady I initially spoke with answered all of my questions and was able to quickly schedule a date for someone to come by my house for a consultation. A few days later Frank stopped by and tested the water right in front of us, took a look at the existing set up, answered all of our questions, and walked us through the options we had. He sent me a very helpful follow up email summarizing what we spoke about (results of the water testing, systems, costs, maintenance) and worked with me to set up an installation date that worked with my schedule. We got a new water softener system by Kinetico and a reverse osmosis filtration system installed. There has been such a huge and noticeable difference in the quality of our water. Excellent service... my well pump stopped working on a Friday afternoon at 4pm so we had no water in our house. They came to check it out right away and sent a team first thing Saturday morning to fix it in freezing weather to get my water running again.

Very positive experience with Westfair Water Systems. Frank Fennell came out to my house to recommend a whole-house water softener system. Frank answered my numerous questions, spoke to me after hours to ease any concerns, and provided me with references to help with my due diligence. The installers were professional, respectful of my home, and efficient. They even came back a week later to check on the installation and perform a post-installation test to sample the water. We noticed the effects immediately and are so glad we chose Westfair and implemented the Kinetico system.
The appointment was between 9 and 11, but I received a text message with a picture of technician and estimated arrival with his GPS tracker at 8:30. He arrived at 9 and done by 9:30. I loved the notification and the efficiency. The technician was very professional.

I’ve had an excellent experience with Westfair, both with respect to the quality of its products and with respect to its service. I have well water at my home, and I bought a filter system from Westfair about eight years ago, which has worked perfectly since and resolved a serious ph problem. About two years ago, I added Westfair’s water softening system, and it has been miraculous, turning hard water into soft water with no change in the taste of the water. I have rarely had any issues with either of the Westfair systems, but in the few times that I needed help they have been very responsive. Frank Magnotta, who I think is the owner of the company, is a pleasure to deal with (and very helpful), and the service organization has been on the spot whenever I needed them.
Westfair is the best there is for tackling challenging water issues. They installed an incredible reverse osmosis system into the home i grew up in. The water had been softened and treated by other companies but it remained virtually undrinkable due to iron and other problems. The new system completely transformed the home. The water is now perfect with very low maintenance. Westfair has also come to the rescue during an emergency well tank failure and replaced our old metal tank with a modern alternative. Can’t recommend the company enough. Frank is the best!
When we bought a new home - we found that it had extremely hard water! Frank came by and showed us exactly what we needed and helped us install the new system. As new home owners, we were oblivious to how a water softening system even work.... and unfortunately, our set-up caused numerous problems. Thankfully, Frank (and his team) made sure to come by and assist us with each problem (even though some of the problems were due to our ignorance).Although the set-up was not perfect - Frank made sure the system was fixed (at no charge) even though those services were not part of our contract.Frank will make sure the system meets your needs. 2022-04-02As a new homeowner in Somers I previously didn’t have any experience with well water. I received a couple of different quotes but Westfair was honest, fairly priced and only concerned with meeting the needs of the home. Greg came out and explained the different options for a water softener system in detail. We also agreed it was time to replace the piping and water tank as it was nearly 30 years old. The systems were installed by Kipp without issue and met all my expectations. Since installation I’ve had a few questions regarding maintenance and Greg has called me immediately. I highly recommend these guys.

I have a new water softener installed a week ago and i am completely blown away with the courteous, knowledgeable, impeccable service from Westfair. Frank and George was very patient explaining what would be best for my application and of course I have to thank Casey for a job well done installing it. 2022-05-27They came to service our reverse osmosis equipment. They actually made it worse. The water was undrinkable when they were through. They said the mineral cartridge had not been rinsed properly before it left the shop and they would come and remove it. They never came. We had to have it serviced by another company who said the same thing - the cartridge was improperly prepared before installation. They had to flush out the system and replace the cartridges - essentially re-doing what Westfair was already paid to do. I cannot recommend Westfair. In response to them, we can certainly be satisfied when the work is done properly. They dropped the ball by not doing what was called for and not returning to rectify it. Kinetico actually suggested I send Westfair the invoice from the other dealer but Im just happy to be done with them and want to warn others to stay away. There are several other reputable water treatment companies in the area. Choose someone else.

2022-02-24Very responsive team. They sent out an email indicating they were on their way and it included a picture of who was coming. Easy to work with and fixed all electrical adding a new well pump in the same day. I will definitely use them again, but hopefully don’t need a new well pump for a while.

2022-04-25Install was fine. Shortly after it was done, started getting texts suggesting I join a “club” to prioritize my service calls. What this tells me is that I can’t expect any follow up service unless I pay them protection money, typical extortionist tactics.
