Four stars means the place excites me. Five stars means they come to my home and show me what they offer. So three stars for having just about everything under one roof but not emotionally buzzed. All of their merchandise wouldnt fit in my place anyway. It has a food court, restrooms, and Buffalo Wild Wings which has a bar. They met all my dreams and visions by providing me with a very nice shirt and tie at Lord and Taylors, two fragrances for my Princess from an area kiosk and from Ulta. Success!I couldnt do this in Manhattan without wearing out a pair of shoes. Yes, I am a happy camper!
I went to Chase JS Beauty. That’s what is says on the receipt but the bag says Obey Your Body. So, I don’t even know which is the real name. David did a demonstration on my skin. The Hermetise cream was in a large syringe. Well, I purchased the product for $100. When David put it in the shopping bag, I took it out to look at it and saw it as only.34 of an ounce!!! I immediately told him I wanted my money back and he refused saying there were no refunds!!! I didn’t even leave the store!! In my opinion, this was a COMPLETE SCAM !! Less than an ounce!!! Are you kidding me? What a RIP off! Beware!!!if I could give less than one star I would!!!

The mall was extremely empty!! There was allot of stores that werent open. But Ill tell you what it was super clean in the entire mall. And I didnt get grossed out in the bathroom. Only thing is there really isnt allot of directory posts that I couldve used to make things quicker
This mall is not considerably large but it is very conveniently located from where I live. Besides the fact that the bus is stopped here for those that use mass transit, but also the variety of different eateries is very pleasant. Also a big plus is the fact that they have 7-Eleven right there in the mall which is convenient but its also a double-edged sword because this 7-Eleven does not stay open 24/7. In fact it closes when the mall closes even though there is an outside entrance.
Nobody adheres to the rules. I wanted to enter food court but ALL of the handicap spaces were taken by non handicap people as well as all the people who were parked in the fire zone picking up their own food There was NO security there to make sure this doesnt happen. And best of all there is a suffolk county police sub station in the mall but I guess it is not their job to enforce parking laws. Reminds me of the wild west lawlessness. Also, parking lot full of potholes and cracks that need to be addressed and have been for years!!!!
Cashier bad attitudes manager worst,we are a group of 10 people ,I ask for my frozen coffe and because I ask how long I have to wait for the insist to refound my money ,manager was worst he did what cashier says ,question hows the boss? I had 15minutes waiting for frozen coffee
Westfield mall is a decent mall with standard shops, but has lost stores, including a major anchor, Lord & Taylor, over the last year. They could use a little more variety in terms of store types and maybe draw in more customers. The food court is decent. The roads and parking lot area are in terrible condition and need to be repaved.
This place is not busy. They do require you to wear masks while inside the mall. It is very clean and the staff is very friendly. Most of the stores are open without wait lines. There are no wait lines to get into the mall. if youre looking to get some shopping done or even quick shopping this would be a great location for you to stop by.
I only went to the mall because its the closest store to me that has a JCPENNEY in it. The mall is nice, its your average mall with Macys, JCPENNEY, food court, jewelry stores and clothing stores. Theres a new cheesecake factory that is beautiful, plenty of outdoor seating.
The server was great, she was accommodating and friendly. Unfortunately, the food was sad in presentation. Coffee pot on the table was dirty and the floor was also dirty. And to say that it was a bit busy, not so much. ( Even so, it should be clean)I think IHOP and some few popular restaurants have forgotten about presentation and hygiene, this is my second review this month in which I had to mention these 2 factors ( cleanliness and presentation). We stopped eating at Popeyes because of the similar experiences, Red Lobsters was next, and now IHOP( it was one of my favorite places to chill with my kids)Is funny because, I have heard people saying that they dont eat at many of these places and now I know why. Unfortunately, we have to pay for the unrevealing experience. 😔
Great mall with great stores and is disability accessible. The food court is limited but it still has enough good food to choose from, as well as the restaurants on the malls outskirts and the couple restaurants across the parking lot. Also, this mall never gets too crowded, so shopping here would be ideal for those who cant really handle large crowds for long periods.
Im not much of a mall shopper and the last time I was in this group of stores it wasnt the cleanest most pleasurable environment but recently I had to stop by and to my surprise theyve made a lot of changes. I give them a 4-star because theyre making marvelous improvements. This time it was a very pleasurable, safe and clean shopping experience
The stores are very good and the areas I visited, including the food court, were nice and well kept. However while there with my family a fight broke out between a group of teenagers and it spread out across the main level near the food court. Thankfully no one was seriously injured, and security and the police were there in a short time and it was settled down before it really got out of control. This happens in malls everywhere unfortunately, so its good to always be safe and alert when going to any mall, and still have a nice experience there.
Been Going to this big mall for years. Has a lot of options in food court. A lot of samplers. Weekends are always busy. If you like to go in on a more relaxed day I would recommend a weekday like beginning of the week. Overall nice and clean mall. Have a playground by the food court so the kids could have their fun. Lots of options for shopping!
I’ve been going to this mall for years and they’ve definitely improved. However I don’t like coming here often. Mostly because of the parking lot. The spaces tend to be VERY close(even in my little Honda Civic) and the lot is riddled with potholes. The food court is pretty food. The stores aren’t very far apart so you won’t be walking much depending on your reason for shopping.
It has so many different foods at the food court which is really easy to locate it has sbarro (pizza place), taco bell, subway, checkers, buffalo wild wings, Popeyes, 2 different Chinese food places it has sushi it has dessert places and there is soooo many stores. A playground for little ones which is currently closed to covid 19 but overall if you have never gone I believe you will really like it. Update: Its open😀
Love it. Plenty of places to eat surrounding the mall like the cheesecake factory blaze pizza olive garden and many more on the opposite side of the mall. The mall is very nice, plenty of places to shop and take a nice stroll. The massage chairs are fun. There is also nail salons on premises for those who want to get nails done and then go for a shop! I recommend the variety of food places and clothing stores is always fun!
Westfield seems to be suffering on Long Island, leading to these ghostly, quiet, haunted looking malls. This one is better than Sunrise in terms of cleanliness and number of open stores, but it still has the strange vacancy of a dying mall. The kids play area is clean. MUCH cleaner than the one in Sunrise. I felt ok letting my niece play here. The parking lot is a hot mess. It seems to be a Westfield thing, not giving a care about the parking lot. Makes it look very shabby from the outside!Doesn’t feel very secure. I saw someone steal a drink from a kiosk, and it felt so surreal thinking I had just seen it happen and no one else seemed to care. Couldn’t find a security guard to report it to.Upsides of this place? If you don’t like crowds, I don’t think this place ever gets too busy. Clean enough. Big enough to walk around in. Some interesting stores. But not enough to make me want to come back, to be honest. There are better malls in driving distance.
In my search for womens petite sized clothing I googled this mall and took a trip there to search for a dress. I was surprised at how bright and clean it is. There are large department stores as well as small specialty stores offering something for everyone of every age. We stopped for lunch at Buffalo Wild Wings while we were there and even that was excellent. If you are looking for a safe, clean, well lit mall that was not too busy during a week day afternoon this is a great place to shop.
My family and I had dinner at the Cheesecake Factory. Our server was amazing, really helped make the experience. Unfortunately, half way through the meal the server was replaced. While the second server was very good, there was no comparison. So, I decided on four stars instead of five.
Ive been shopping here since I first moved to Long Island in the spring of 2004. The stores here are reasonably priced and the food court is great. I like the fact that theres free WiFi and a food court thats always busy. The only issue I have is that the bus stops right outside the entrance is quite small.
I am giving this small a good well-deserved three star rating. I grew up in the area I have been coming here since I was in the fifth grade and I have very fond memories here. I’m glad they have updated the mall with new stores, more outside attractions etc. one day one can only hope we get a second floor but one decade at a time.As a shopper, if you to look for something without the hassle of it being out of stock or too crowded to find, don’t want to see roofless running through the mall, or bumping into your ex boyfriend/ girlfriend or best friend…I suggest going on off-peak hours early mornings during the week are always great and if you get up extra early on the weekends that’s always great to and just about an hour before it closes. It’s the summertime now and I know they are really great on sales but you have to be one of those people who gets there extremely early lease up your sneakers know exactly where the stores are get hydrated and walk that line honey don’t eat the Popeyes chicken. Ever. Annie’s never fails and Now they just added another Asian restaurant so if you’re into Asian/Mediterranean /Japanese/Chinese and probably get some sandwiches this is the place for you but if not there are plenty and plenty of places to eat out the small even outside the small Fridays blaze pizza cheesecake factory I’m starting to think it’s not a mall but a food arena which is fine with me
It seems like theyre working on making this a nicer mall to shop at. Great stores to shop in, a good amount of good places, a playground for the kids, and even a few stores surrounding the mall. Only negative is theirs a few empty spaces for more stores or even decorations.
Ever since the takeover from Westfield and renovations this mall has went up a few notches. The reputation has been cleaned up a lot. You feel safe with the increased security and police presence. They have a great selection of stores and the food court is very diverse now. Just wish Sarku Japan would speed up the service. Great mall.
Easy to see right off of Sunrise Highway servicing Bay Shore and the adjoining areas of Suffolk County. Plenty of parking and a wheelchair accessible entrance. Public Restrooms. Clean facilities. Reasonably priced. Credit cards accepted. Nice staff. We will definitely be going back.
Really disappointed with help I got from management regarding a large party I wanted to bring in on Saturday. I understand they dont normally accept reservations however I was told to come in and hour and a half before we would like to eat and put our name on a list. If no large parties came in before us they should be able to get us in at 6. So I should have my guests wait all that time and hope we can get a table? Seems to me they should make acceptions for advanced notice of large groups.
The mall should hire more security personnel for in and outside, parking lot.Drug deals happening right by the main entrance, makes things very VERY uncomfortable when with kidsDicks parking lot is the best, easy to cross the road when with kids, and if a car is near they are so kind to stop. The parking lot is a mess,Garbage everywhere!!
Love how this mall has alot of places to shop! Spencers is by far my favorite! After long hours of shopping, I usually get a quick bite at any of the food courts (they are all good) except Im not a fan of popeyes, last time I ate there my chicken was served cold and table I was sitting at was dirty.
It seems as though Westfield is always updating their look making their malls visually appealing and comfortable which makes for a very pleasant shopping experience. All the top named stores are present mixed with specialty stores that gives this mall a nice variety of merchandise vendors for everyone.
This mall has completely changed over the years. Totally night and day!!!! I love the facelift they gave it and the new options in the food courts. I used to bring my son here when he was a baby and now hes 18 so its been interesting. I am bummed that old country buffet is gone, that place was both awesome and terrible at the same time and Ill miss it, lol.
I went here for JCP optical, T-Mobile, and Sprint, so I had little interaction with the mall staff. We appreciated the detailed map as some things had changed since I was last there and my fiancé who had never been there before was able to easily navigate.Criticism: the halls for the restrooms by the food court are difficult to navigate if two or more people are trying to pass. There were a few near misses when I was entering and exiting.
I used to frequent this mall in my teenage years. Spent many highschool afternoons there until I felt the quality dropped. Well, in recent years this Mall has definitely come back into its own. The location is great, even if the parking lot can be tricky to enter and exit. I would definitely recommend this place, but Im sure the locals already know about and it and anyone west of the general vicinity would like be heading to Massapequa mall
This place has great stores and fun for kids and adults and also little areas to fix’s your phone screens and pay your phone bills and all different stores to eat and drink coffee if that your thing there’s Star bucks and taco bill and also a tattoo parlor if you won’t one I recommend to stop by and check out all of the stores and have dinner in one of the best restaurants like the Cheesecake Factory
Been going here all my life. Used to be the SouthShore Mall. Not a fan of malls at all. This one isnt big but youll probably find what you need. Theres some riff raff hanging around but its safer than people make it out to be. Ill probably lose credibility with this next statement but ... I like the hair salon. Theyre cheap and if you get the right stylist you may become a regular client. Ask for Annette. Shes old school, been there FOREVER. Solid cut and blow. Quick and clean mens cut. She wont screw it up and thats a big deal for a salon in a mall. They take walk-ins but the better stylists are usually booked with only a few slots available for people off the street.
This place underwent a very slow transformation. But now it is quite good. Anchored by Macys, Lord and Taylor, JC Pennys and Dicks. Mid level stores without the cheapies and the pretentious stores. I live closer to Walt Whitman, but that is too upscale for my tastes. Guess I just aint that fancy.
This is not a safe mall, kids rode in here on bikes one day and they did as they pleased. Now, what if they had guns? Where was security???? I called them Yea, well be down there in a minute. Yet I tend to see these morons try to pick up girls while smiling and posturing as if theyre real cops. Needs better security that ACTUALLY WORKS!
I havent been at this mall in over a year because I knew it was going under renovation. The interior has gone from a drab brownish color to bright white with a lot of natural light coming in from the ceilings. A handful of popular stores & restaurants have opened up but not enough to keep people coming consistently, I feel. Thats also due to the size of the mall compared to others on Long Island, which are much larger. This is an average mall, but one going in the right direction.
Place which has stores for everyone. I usually go there to get breakfast from Panera bread. Theres also Cheesecake Factory in the mall area and Pizza place. Olive garden is also a good place to spend good time with family. Its easily noticeable while driving and the crowd there is decent. Enjoy going there on Weekends with family. The service at Panera bread is really good and the staff is always so welcoming.
This mall is located conveniently off of Sunrise Hwy. and has entrances on the side streets as well. The entire mall is well staffedwith security, helpful signs for guiding you to the several hundred stores to choose from. The department stores cover booth ends of the price range. On one hand you have J.C. Pennys and for the more pricey Macys,as well as everything in between. Happy shopping.
Average mall - updated food court and other eateries - they brightened it up and its clean - but otherwise - same lay out for 20+yrs... Great if you need a mall but arent into sprawling malls like smithaven or gigantic ones like Roosevelt Field or dead ones like Massapequa...
It is a small, one floor mall. The anchor stores are JCPenneys, Macys and Dave and Busters. There is a very small food court, but separate from the mall there is a TGIFridays and an Olive Garden. Overall, it is clean and well kept, but lacks a large selection of anything.
What was the mall grow in this mall has a variety of stores keep business going good to see all the people in it are people buying stuff lotta packages in their hands are good food in the boys voice is very clean with the time the bathrooms are full always have toilet paper very happy with this place hope it never goes away. Anthony from New York
Love the many chicken teriyaki options you have here. Charlies is also very good if you are in a mood for sandwiches. The only complain I have is the bathroom which does not use water at all for urin so it smells bad. Its a water less toilet so disgusting and right on food court.
Food court got some good variety in different cuisines. Stores seems they are trying to become more upscale in a not so upscale neighbor hood and more and more people are choosing to go to Wal-Mart..mall is good for hanging with friends or using it as a track to walk around.. they took the kiddy area away Which was a major blow to parents that would take their kids to play and catch a breather smh
Love the new mall look lots of stores have been updated being originally from longisland was nice to shop in the area while we were on vacation ..wished friendlys was still in the mall it was my mamas favorite place when i was a teen brought back old memories ! Had a great shopping day !
Its been around since I was born and its still improving! Its a good mall, but not as big as smithhaven mall or the next nearest mall but they do have a dentist attached to it... That is and has been pretty convienant and also pretty good dinning in the same parking lot...theres Olive garden and Fridays there outside the mall and the food court inside has some really good Asian food with teriyaki chicken and bourbon chicken for good prices! I dont really shop a lot there but there is a Spencers and you have Macys + JCPenney. Parking there wasnt too bad at all most times /all times Ive went.
It all depends on what time and where you go. Thats the problem with this mall. You usually have to enter through a dept.store or one of the smaller side entrance to not be bombarded by a bunch of teenagers. You can NEVER enter directly through the food court. Its ridiculous. But the stores are getting nicer they just need more help.
Have had my pandora bracelet for 8 years now, I usually get it cleaned at the location in Smithaven Mall. Went to Pandora to get my bracelet (20pc bracelet) cleaned...the first time getting it cleaned at this Bayshote location and I WILL NOT be back! Had to wait around for an hour for it to be cleaned and when we returned it looked exactly the same as when I brought it in. When I looked at my charms they were still dirty and blackish. Super disappointed and the women Who helped us couldn’t of cared less.
This mall has gone down hill fast!! After today I will NEVER ENTER this mall again!! The kiosk that sells toys in front of Cozy living I believe. (Across from IHOP hallway) are TERRIBLE!! They wouldnt exchange or return my purchase because I brought it back without the plastic covering on it. The dolls leg came off and the pacifier didnt even go into dolls mouth. The man was a nasty human and so was his little side kick. The item was thrown back to me and was told to talk to Security! LOW CLASS PEOPLE WORKING KIOSKS
Today was not a good experience at your restaurant. We were a party of 5 and we were put at a table for 4 with an extra chair. We asked to be moved to a larger table in the next area but were told they didnt have servers for there. However we saw many people being seated there and saw servers over there taking ordersNext my adult daughter explaing to our server that she is HIGHLY allergic to tomatos. He brings us our big salad WITH tonatos! My husband asked for cheese for his salad, Eric said he had to get the cheese and disappeared! We had to ask him to bring clean utencils, theknives looked like soneone just used them!No server came to ask if we wanted more salad or bread sticks, no one came to give refills of soda and my husband had an empty glass in front of him.He brought the bottle of water but forgot the opener. He left with the bottle and luckily he did return. I had to flag him down to get straws. He comes back to the table and says theres a special for $5.00 to bring home a meal. My husband orders 2 dishes to take home. Guess what we never got? He didnt order them, so atleast we didnt pay for them.A different server brought our meals and my husband asked where our original server went, she said hes busy.We had to stack our own salad dishes and we put the empty salad bowl on another table so they could serve our meals on the riny table we were stuck at!What a shame! Olive Garden is my husbands favorite place, but after todays visit he said he wont be going back til we go to Orlando, where the service is always excellent.Despite all this, my husband still gave Eric a 15% tip, because it was the right thing to do, but was definitely not worth it!Im sorry I went on for so long, unfortunately Eric gave me alot to write about!!
This local mall features friendly staff and great customer service with a neighborhood feel. Recently remodeled with a botique, upscale look and open bright floorplan-I was pleasantly surprised to find much of what I seek here. Lots of new openings including the Cheesecake Factory, AGaci, the Olive Garden and free wi-fi to boot! Definitely coming back here!
Went to Charleys Cheesesteaks... Ordered this for a customer and i said NO CHEESE over 5 times. Yet they still put a ton of cheese on it. I asked them to remake it and they said I never asked for NO cheese and if i want a different sandwich to pay for it. Im far from racist but it would help if even 1 out of the 4 employees there spoke English. I dont speak Spanish... But NO IS THE SAME IN BOTH LANGUAGES.
The food court popping but the stores are wack we need better stores bc the stores now aint cutting it & I dont understand why that lady allllllll the way down their being mad bc kids go to the mall in groups like heffa what you want us to do? Kids cant go to the mall with they friends like wheettttt? You mad rude 🚮 anyways overall theres a lil bit amount of stores that are good and then the popping food court 💞💦😻

2022-05-01I went to the this mall with my family, I has a good parking spot, it has a food court with different type of food, it has restaurants and an awesome fishbowl. Additionally, the place is divided into two different areas, one with big brands and the other one with regular brands.

2022-03-06Im a big fan of shopping malls around the United States. It was clean with a very huge variations of food, entertainment, hang time for the kids and clothes. They also have an inside food court with a nice selection for the kids in the family.I travel from Long Island City to get there in less than 2 hours just to stay there for the last 7. Its a total experience like no other. The staff is curious while the place is incredibly clean. Sure this routine is from the kids and other people who plan to hang there for a long time while eating but thats just a daily norm. Otherwise I will definitely come back there because the food is incredible, the company is immaculate, and I only wish that our local shopping malls will be just as big as that.

2022-07-03Free movement was awesome. Sale girls friendly. Aldo sucks, this is the 4th time Ive been the and the sales people and mangers suck, not helpful, shoes are on sale labeled shelves but not on sale. The sales guy sitting so low behind the counter I had to call for help because I thought no one was there. I walked out and made no purchase again.

2022-05-19I dont like going into shopping malls but the kids needed sneakers so i get tired of not finding the latest styles in other stores so i needed a foot locker or finish line store. I went in expecting the usual chaotic scene.....far from it. Very clean...lots of sales...the two stores were almost next door to each other....then i got hungry and the food court was about 2 stores away with plenty of food choices. I grabbed lunch and as i was headed out there goes the ice cream stand and i guess they felt guilty about that because there was a bungee jumping area just across from there as well as a carpeted play area for babies. Overall..a painless day for someone that hates the mall....ps i got a great parking spot. I suggest parking in the west or rear aide of the mall.

2022-06-01The Olive Garden experience was very family oriented. I went with my mother, son and boyfriend. The atmosphere was very casual and inviting. We had the tour of italy, with mozarella stocks also endless soup, salad and breadsticks. We had fun.

2022-03-07An average mall that was a great place to go when Friendlys and Burger king wasnt restricted to a food court. When there was a real game room in the place where IHOP is now. Now theres nothing family fun there. Loaded with want-a-be high class female clothing stores . Even thier fake plans of Macys court yard area looking like this hasnt happened. But it and Tanger and Smith haven will be the major malls in Suffolk cause massapequa mall is closing soon!

2022-02-07Not my favorite mall to go to due to the stores not entirely interesting me, but there are a few stores that really had me surprised. This mall isnt the most amazing thing to come out of this area, but it is a nice place for a quick stroll if you have the free time to do so. Cant say too much personally since I dont come here all too much, but it surely did start improving a lot.

2022-03-07Dont like this mall anymore. Use to love JC Penny but yesterday was horrible treated by a young women working in the fitting room. Very unfriendly and the mall it self seems pretty racist.

2021-11-16Seems like a nice mall, visit because Islip Arts Council (isliparts.org) has their gallery theresome of my photos will be in the exhibit Members Showcase 11/22/21-1/7/22
