I always find this area worth stopping to capture some memoriesWe all have sad memories of what happened on 9/11 somehow time and history left a scar on the USA, however, the American spirit endured and the light was able to shine through those dark days. As of today, the new World Trade Center is a monument of resilience and endurance. There are several areas to take beautiful pictures and create new memories. If you ever visit NYC dont forget to capture those moments with your camera and save them for the future generations. After all we have to learn to love the present, past is history, tomorrow is uncertainty but today is a gift thats why it is called present 🎁.
The World Trade Center is always bustling with activity. You can take several trains to reach the boroughs from here including the the NJ Path trains. I just found out that Victoria’s Secret store closed at this location about two months ago and I was disappointed to find that out. There are other shops within here but the VS store was the only reason why I would hang around here.
Elvin Rodriguez is a certified Red Zone survivor. Fireman found him as he was laying on the ground knocked out when the first tower toxic dust cloud hit him n the fireman didnt find him until after the 2nd tower collapse n the rescue team went in.Kriendler n Kriendler law firm left me penniless. I go visit the memorial only first time this year n I will go every year now.Hope you all enjoy the photos.PS: Thank you everyone for attending this years WTC memorial n honoring our brave firemen n rescue team n police, ambulance n everyone who got involved to help us. We all thank you.Respectfully SubmittedElvin RodriguezI love artsArts saves Lives
Highly recommended if you are from out of town and need someplace to relax, shop, eat, use the restroom. They have have a Walgreens inside which was super helpful to us being out all day. It provides easy access to the subway as well. Beautiful building inside and out!!
Great building to step in to take a rest of walking, the heat and look at the different stores. There is seating on the first floor in the middle. The building can be confusing if it is your first time walking through it. There are officers watching down from above and military people.
This mall is ridiculous!!!!! It’s so huge and only have 2 restrooms. Build alllllll the way at the back. And after you run cross the mall, restroom showed closed for maintenance. Went down to another, is just the same. What is the reason both restroom has to be closed at the same time????? If can not afford to build reasonable number for restroom, why build such a huge mall??? Ridiculous!!!
This is a mall and transit station (connecting NJ PATH and NYC Subway) and is a very unique structure in downtown Manhattan. There’s a lot of various shops to visit here and throughout the year you can find many pop up shops and events that take place in the main atrium area of the station.During rush hour time this place can be a mad house of people, so plan accordingly if you can to avoid those rush times. Outside of that it’s a great place to visit. The surrounding area also has a lot to offer, with the World Trade Center redevelopment of course, Brookfield’s, which is connected by the underground corridor and also Fulton Center, which is also connected underground. If you’re just into architecture then the Oculus is a very unique and beautiful marvel of the city to photograph!
So much to see So Much diversity I love this area and its a real NYC attraction theyre Lil boutiques if you will; are very quirky and it works ! Love the vibe I get when.im walking through here Everything is so bright and Lit up its very lively Just dont leave your child unattended its a place where you can lose site of them too easily ! So be careful !
I will never come here again absolutely rude staff from Westfield not the security they were amazing and went above and beyond. One staff member didn’t want to open the family bathroom for my wife and infant son because she was not visibly handicapped but my son had a blowout. My wife is legally handicapped with multiple bone reconstruction surgeries. Multiple families around us then started sticking up for her and she gave in and just changed him by the phone chargers. This guy tried to have a female colleague stand up for him but she saw he was in the wrong. He also tried calling this guy named Jose who never showed.Security went above and beyond they made the situation better. Westfield has to fix the attitude and customer service training for their employees putting down people who ask for help.
This place looks amazing and is really clean, great selection of stores but obviously they are mostly expensive brands but one of the issues I had and the reason I did not gave it the other two stars is because we had traveled there and both my girlfriend and I almost had our bladder explode and all the bathrooms were closed and it was not even nine at night. Serious question to anybody in charge of this place,if this is such a populated/tourist attraction shouldnt atleast one restroom be open 24/7?
Please explain to me why a couple of weeks ago ARMED soldiers were pursuing me across the Oculus insisting that I must wear a mask in this expansive space. Now these same brown shirts are walking around the same space with no mask. Did the dangerous virus disappear between 1/20/22 and 1/31/2022?
Beautiful Mall! Many stores to shop and food stores, have 4 level floors, natural light, some stores arent visible meaning easy to find even if there is a map. If people arent familiar with the mall it is easy to get lost 🙃 happened to me today 😒 but besides everything looks clean and very crowded. Worth the visit🤩
Beautiful, air conditioned mall with lots of stores and space to stretch your legs. It has a lot of verticality built into it, so with the elevators currently not working, is something you should keep in mind if you dont love stairs...even the automated ones. Otherwise, a nice place to decompress after the memorial or just to recharge before hitting the city
Very cool place, beutiful and big, but was lacking food options. I also didnt see a single trash can which is weird for a public place. You can access the metro right from it which is convenient. I guess they should also feel the middle part of it with some attractions or maybe mobile stalls.
I went to that mall and it was beautiful and the subway station is right their very super convenient and we don’t have to go outside to take the subway. I went to those stores and they’re very nice and clean. They have path train to go to New Jersey for other people. I will go back to the mall again in the future.
I had high hopes for when this building opened. Its bright, and airy, and it is home to the Terminal Station on the PATH Trains, and houses several subway lines. But, being a disabled person, this building was totally misdesigned. They make the disabled go to the farthest points of the building to find Elevators to take you where you need to go. Not only that, but, many of the elevators are often out of service because they also serve as freight elevators for certain stores in the building. This makes the elevators breakdown quicker, and sometimes elevators are out for a full two months. Westfield, that manages the place, doesnt seem to care about the disabled, and has left a bad taste in my mouth. Is it any wonder why I dont shop at the stores there? Why should I if the company managing the place doesnt seem to care about me and my needs.
Great place for conections. It has been said; time heals all wounds!-------Well no it doesnt, it just helps one forget. As I look around the city I am awestruck on how beautiful it truly is. If anyone ever forgets what happened here they need to go somewhere else to live and be.What happened here makes it what it is today. And that gives it an identity for younger people and individuals who relish in the beauty found here! I am really grateful for this city a wonderful place to be!
Basically there for the World Famous Eataly Restaurant in the World Trade Center. Been there before and after the Pandemic and its always good. Definitely not as busy as before the Lockdowns but I hope they make it. Wonderful Views. Ambience, Service, and wonderful Food.
We dined at Eately. Enjoyed a good dinner for the most part. The pasta and meatball sauce was good. But, the pasta with shrimp was overrun with a marinara sauce and the chef refused to substitute the pasta from regular to angel hair past, which was our preference. They checked for vaccine status and the restaurant was clean, and that was good.

It’s sterile feeling, not the sort of welcoming mall energy that gives you some sense of nostalgia and retail comfort. It’s wide open so it feels empty a lot because of how big the space is. Has a feel of get what you need and go, not a sort of classic local mall. I’ve been here several times over the years and I’ve felt the same every time. From a local standpoint it’s excellent in terms of transit access and retail needs, fine.
What a surprise! On my way (and back) on the PATH train to get to Newark airport on the cheap using local public transportation. This place is huge, airy, light and wonderous in design. Many, many shops, eateries, and clean public restrooms! They need to work on their directional signage corrections, so be careful. Go ahead and ask the numerous security folks.
All restrooms were closed after 8pm even tho the building was still open and it goes thru to the train stations. Also, we spoke to like 4 security guards and 3 of them in a row were so rude and they barely mumbled a response and sounded passive aggressive. And all in the same exact way, they looked like they were all high or something. How are they supposed to be doing security like that? Except the 4th guy, he actually helped us, thank you to him for us not missing our train! Anyway, the building looks beautiful and pictureque but the facilities and 3/4th of the security staff sucked.
The Westfield World Trade Center was an amazing experience when visiting New York City. Its construction is so sci-fi and massive that it just blew my mind away. They have replaced the Twin Towers with a new construction which is just simply out of this world. What a wonderful memorial this is for what we lost two decades ago. Hats off to New York City 🏙️
My sister decided to go shopping last weekend. So we went to this shopping mall because it had everything we wanted. Apparel, make-up, shoes, appliances, among other items. We had so much fun shopping, and since there is a newly opened coffee shop, we had the best day and they gave us some free treats! Were so fortunate!
The oculus and underground mall designed by Santiago Calatrava is both stunning and scale and splendor. A massive shopping mall on the site of one of the most traumatic events in modern history seems a bit gauche, albeit a very American tribute. A bit if a hike between train platforms.
The WTC is a few stops away from my workplace, so we consider it as one of the places for lunch. The Oculus itself is a beautiful sight, and boasts a series of restaurants in the area. Personally, my co workers and I have visited Eataly at least once a month.Occasionally there are also street stalls set up outside the Oculus which is a nice change of pace.
I walk through here whenever I go to work. Im not much of a shopper, and when I go out its only to discount stores. These stores are all very high-end. They all look very nice with beautiful displays of watches, clothing, food items, jewelry, etc. Theres a farmers market here once a week too. Oh, and several places to eat. Eately inside 4 World Trade Tower is especially amazing.
Kudos to Westfield for keeping this shopping destination open, safe and clean during the pandemic. It has allowed many of us New Yorkers a place to shop and walk during these difficult times.Looking forward to the months ahead as more businesses re-launch and offer better hours and additional services.
Amazing mall filled with super high end clothing jewelry stores and restaurants the atmosphere is almost surgically cleaned the ambience is gorgeous with plenty of natural light in the grand sitting area if when your tired of shopping or eating its a magnificent seating area surrounding the water simply a marvel to behold especially if the private yachts are out
I passed through there only once going to the PATH to NJ. The picture is so intimidating and the environment so sensitive that I couldnt bring out my phone for a photo. And when I got home I had no picture to Express this professional artwork of a building that will some day become one of the wonders of the world. Thanks people.
One of must gos in nyc today. Architecturally breathtaking and wonderful. Great escape into a futuristic atmosphere in my opinion. I have wanted to take my family along for a while now but with work (i do covid-19 sanitation for some subway stations this is one of them) and being cautious ive put it off but, hoping to go tomorrow evening to enjoy it with my family i know my daughter and wife will enjoy it the most. I recommend to please do the same and stop into the shops here and visit the Westfield World Trade Center Mall.
The best thing about this mall is that its located inside the now famous #Oculus of the #Fulton transit hub built to replace the world trade center. Bring your camera and be sure to have lots of film. LOL. youll want to lie down on the floor to get pics of the spectacular roof. Youll also need to walk outside to complete your photo essay. Its cavernous! Feels like inside the belly of a space creature. Similar to one you might see in a #Startrek #star #trek episode. #trekkie few people actually shop here, save for the food shops. But THOUSANDS use this transit point every single day. Great place to see busy people hustle through. Or to film time lapse scene for your #youtube or next film. WORTH THE TRIP JUST TO SEE THIS OCULUS
The high end stores is a extremely long walk under the West side to Brookfield is so worth it.When I went into Gucci and had the sales experience with Cedric in April 2021 it was so worth that long walk to Brookfield.I also forgot to mention Kate who was very helpful as well informing me thas Cedric will be assisting me shortly. Finally, they follow the guidelines when it comes to covid-19 as well. Very professional and so worth the shopping experience.

2022-07-26A truly unique shopping mall in one of the most favored places in the entire world. The architecture and design of this structure are breath taking. The large and open futuristic design makes you forget for a second the area is filled with a large variety of great stores to go to.My favorite part of this mall is the direct access to the path trains on the bottom floor. You can conveniently get anywhere in the city or even back to New Jersey for just a few dollars any time of the day.A must visit location, especially if you like shopping malls.

2022-05-24It is a place to visit as you are already here, and the fact that it is an underground mall will attract you as well, it is massive looking and really beautiful to take some pictures, but there arent many good stores nor places to eat, nor bathrooms so thats the points I find this mall lacking, it will be really enjoyable if there were some more good stores so you can hang out and shop meanwhile visiting this iconic monument as the 911 is. So overall you might want to go and take some pictures and all, but its not worth even walking it completely

2022-03-27Was so amazing to see the architecture is futuristic, clean and it’s open concept.I understand why it’s oculus it’s in the shape of an eye 👁 a little, it’s interesting choice of design if you ask me,There’s shops and then a train station at the very bottom, It’s definitely a place to check out when visiting New York!

2022-08-06One of the coolest and nicest shopping malls I’ve ever seen, hands down. And I’ve been to many malls across the U.S. It is much bigger than it looks on the outside because all of the shopping stores and dining is underground.

2022-08-11The mall itself is a work of art. You get lost in the catacombs of vertebrae architecture. Walking through to get to the 9/11 memorial museum was an experience in itself. Needless to say, did not do much shopping but tons of trendy and luxurious stores.

2021-09-24A great view to experience in person. Dont let the images of television fool you. The memorial fountains is absolutely beautiful and peaceful. The tower is right there, as well as the entrance to the underground mall. While at the memorial for the first time, you wouldnt even realize that a beautifully built mall just underneath the area. First time in Manhattan? A must go to destination. Not far off from the Staten Island Ferry terminal and plenty of access to the transit system in downtown Manhattan.
