Nice facility. I met with Dr. Steven Meixler for a routine annual visit. As far as I know the bloodwork involved is included. Steven was very nice and even brought up what they can look for in terms of underlying problems. This seemed wonderful and I was glad my first visit to the doctors was going well. Come to find out that the stuff he mentioned was not included in my routine physical and I was charged $255.00. After speaking to the billing department I quickly found out they werent willing to do anything. The only response was that the doctor tested for something that was not included for the bloodwork. I talked to my insurance and they said to speak directly to the doctor. Once I got in contact with Steven he was all for helping me and told me not to worry about the overdue balance. I was glad to finally get some reassurance that this was all a misunderstanding. 2 weeks passed by before I had to call Steven again where all he could tell me is that Id have to pay for the bloodwork that was not included. After this tiresome back and forth with this manipulative doctor I told him I had a the best first and last visit with him and will make sure to leave a review detailing his wonderful assistance. Never going back him and if you are a new patient be aware that this man may charge you during a routine check up. Thank you Dr. Steven Meixler for another bill added to this struggling college student. Your work is greatly appreciated.
Doctor Jason Shuker was very through. He ordered all the necessary tests. The same day result was very reassuring. Also westmed radiology was able to do ultrasound right away. The nurses were also kind. Even though its a busy place, doctor Jason Shuker took time to return my test results few hours later and explain things. Thanks!
(Please excuse the pseudonym above.) Went to Westmed urgent care, White Plains, this Sunday after thanksgiving and the experience was the best in care. Dr Carter and the nurse who attended were wonderful… both compassionate and thorough in their helping me. The wait was not very long to see them. I highly recommend Westmed.
There was a bit of a wait time, but thats happening everywhere. The front desk staff were great as well as the nurse. Dr Waxler was the best. She was very thorough, friendly, spent the time to listen and was very helpful. Even the next day when I had problems with my pharmacy and one of the meds that were prescribed the nurse Jeanette really went out of her way to help. This is a great office. If you plan to go just plan out the time because you may have to wait a bit. But its worth it.
My experience at Urgent Care at WestMed in White Plains was easy and reassuring. I was seen & treated quickly by knowledgeable Nurse Practitioners, medical assistants and then doctor. EKG, blood work drawn easily and chest X-ray taken with results in less than 30 minutes. I was impressed. Felt better walking out and was sent to schedule appointment with cardiologist easily. Thank you White Plains Urgent Care for all of your great care today.
On Saturday morning I was able to book an appointment for Saturday afternoon. I arrived a few minutes early; the facility was uncrowded and I was checked in immediately. I had to wait a few minutes before a nurse took me back. After she finished with me I had to wait another couple of minutes for the doctor. The whole experience was wrapped up in less than half an hour. That hasnt always been my experience, but the staff there are friendly, professional, and the seem to do their jobs well. I am very likely to visit them again the next time I need an urgent care facility
I was totally misdiagnosed. After a fall on my wrist on January 16 , I came in to have it checked out. West Med took 3 X-rays and the physician told me it was a sprain, not broken and would heal in 2 weeks. The radiologist’s written report also indicated it was not broken. After nearly 2 weeks of severe pain, I went to see an orthopedist ,who told me the wrist was broken and needed a brace to immobilize it. In fact, it should have have been immobilized immediately with a brace, which would have avoided the additional pain and possible further injury. It is a distal radial fracture, which is a common wrist injury and clearly visible in the X-rays.
Walked in without an appointment (there were none available) at the Westchester Ave White Plains office. Was seen in less than half an hour by Dr. Luke. He was a terrific listener and quickly diagnosed my condition and prescribed the medication. Although I was apprehensive about visiting the urgent care , I’m pleased to recommend to anyone in need of “urgent care”.
Be aware! You will be charged for Urgent Care visit if going in for Covid19 test without symptoms.Went in for a Covid19 test, was in and out within 10 minutes, yet got stuck with a bill for $173 after insurance adjustment, was told Im being charged for the urgent care visit as well. Billing department useless, gave me the run around for months only to threaten me with collections. My advise, get tested elsewhere if you have no symptoms.
I work in the medical field for many years and I was truly impressed with the great customer service and hospitality from the staff. It started with the phone call to schedule an appointment, all the way with my treatment. I was amazed by Kerry, that took care of me, she was very pleasant and explained everything to me. I went again on another day and Nurse Kerisha, was amazing. She was very pleasant and greatful she took care of me that day.
Usually the wait isnt terrible, but to get a simple 1 minute covid test, I was told it was a three hour wait because there was 16 people in front of me. Okay, but if each person takes roughly 5 minutes, the wait should be 80 minutes tops. Instead of having one or two dedicated COVID swabbers (as they should as this uptick happens again, literally good business and common sense) they combine with urgent care staff creating insane waits for everybody. This system needs to be revamped to make logical sense for the demand. Nobody was telling the selfish people in the waiting room to put their masks over their nose. One guy had it below his nose and complaining of pneumonia like systems. SERIOUSLY? Oh and I was given a call to come in (I waited in my car due to the lack of masking) and then wasnt called for another 30 minutes. Miserable experience. Staff was friendly though.
This place used to be great.. now it’s insanely hard to get appts… they constantly overbook so you’re waiting extremely long.. there’s no personal care I’m constantly dealing with assistants and god knows who else and the drs you can feel have quotes or something because there’s hardly any personal feel anymore it’s bad here It’s time to switch drs
As you know, an appointment is required to see someone at Urgent This does not apply when you have blood dripping onto your face. I dont even think I said anything. Based on the fact that I hit my head, I was sent to the hospital. This is an important feature of the urgent care. even though they could have done a scan and stitched my head, based on medical information, they called an ambulance.
Everybody is very warm and welcoming. The staff is fast and proficient from the check in process until the end. Justin is very informative and helpful. My nurse Tanie is efficient and Dr. Carter is a very knowledgeable physician. I highly recommend this practice, the staff is simply impeccable.
Absolutely the BEST! I traveled 40 mins. to come to Westmed Urgent Care even though I have a different urgent care company 10 mins. from me. Absolutely worth it! I think I would travel 90 mins. if I had to, or if the emergency would allow it 😊. Their customer service, is top notch 👌. From the safety agent welcoming us with a clean new mask, to the receptionist, nurse, doctor... everyone is just so pleasant. We had to wait longer than usual for our visit today, due to an emergency, but we were given delay status updates and they were apologetic about it. I dont have enough words to describe how AWESOME they are. Another perk is the fact that as Westmed patients, all of our information is in their system so our records are in one linked system. Thank you to our Nurse, Erika and Doctor Shuker for their expert medical care, wonderful conversation, and overall amazing bedside manners.
NYS Contact And Tracing called to inform me that a kid in my sons class tested (+) for COVID-19. I was told since my son is vaccinated and has no symptoms he doesnt need to quaranteen but i could have him tested if i want to. I immediately booked a same day appointment at White Plains Urgent Care. My son was seen and tested in less than 10 minutes. Despite seeing two patients leave Urgent Care via stretcher. They were efficent and professional. I was very impressed.
Dr. Luke was absolutely amazing! He was knowledgeable and patient when I brought my dad in for terrible ankle pain and abnormal scaling and bumps on the lower part of his leg. We were concerned since my dad is diabetic and infections and issues with circulation can be dangerous. We were also worried he could have a blood clot. Dr. Luke ran all the necessary tests so we could go home knowing my dad didn’t need to get to a hospital immediately. He said he would check in with my dad the next dad and he called as promised. He spent all the time we needed on the phone to explain the results of the tests taken the day before and his diagnosis. My dad and I were so impressed with Dr. Luke! He’s not only a great doctor but he is also a kind and caring person.
Westmed Urgent Care of White Plains is great. They are immaculately clean and well organized. At this time of Covid it’s very important to feel safe in a medical emergency situation. You must go on their website and book a time slot before entering. Walk Ins we’re booked but had to come back later in the day. The doctors and staff were friendly and highly skilled and professional. They were extremely detailed to find out my diagnosis. I would recommend going here for an immediate medical need.
I was impressed by the organisation and easy flow of patients coming and going through the walk in clinic and radiology being very carful to comply with Covid protocol. I even observed the misting sanitisation of common areas. People coming to see a multitude of different specialists were quickly told where to go. All the people I came into contact with were attentive and helpful.
It takes professionals with a spacious and brave heart to attend to the sick without adding layers of unpleasant experience due to bed side manners. West Med seems to know just how to find quality people to staff their facilities. I am grateful for their thorough evaluation and kind demeanor.
I went for a Covid PCR test, having made an appointment online. When I arrived, I was told there would be about an hour wait. I wish there was some better way for healthcare providers to better manage patients’ wait time, as this problem seems endemic in our healthcare system. Often appointment times seem meaningless, as patients waste their own valuable time waiting for medical professionals to treat them.
Setting up an appointment and the wait time to be seen were both easy and efficient. However, the length of time to receive my COVID-19 PCR test results is way longer than other urgent care facilities and that is quite frustrating. Others give the result within a few hours, where Westmed takes 2-3 days. Because of that, I have to give this visit a two star rating.
Scheduling a spot in line (not an appointment) was good. Upon check in there were very up front about the wait. Very friendly!Reply to owner - While I understand emergencies arise, that is not the case why you were running over a hour behind my spot in line. You are booking spots in line 5 minutes apart plus taking walk ins. I know I saw the Doctor for longer than 5 minutes for my appointment so that will back up the line from the start of the day.
I had the most wonderful experience. The Urgent care Dr. was so caring , professionaland did everything in his power to get to the root of my problem. He left no stone unturned.I am still talking about it bbn to my friends and family.Dr. Esteban - Galindo was my Dr.One of the best Drs. I have met in many years.I was so concerned about my problemgoing in and he relaxed me so much and took every test possible to rectify it.The staff of WestMed was wonderful.Radiology technicians and nursing staff wereso courteous and helpful.Thank you WestMed!!Barbara Magnotta
Very disappointing....I booked an appointment for a specific time slot and got there early to be respectful of their time. I was having a busy day so i didnt book until an hour before but their online schedule showed lots of open slots so i eagerly booked thinking i would be in and out quickly. When i checked in they told me they were running behind and it would be a 45 minute wait. I expressed my frustration after booking a specific slot on time but understand that things happen. They ended up making me wait over 2.5 hours to finally meet with a Doctor and I didnt get out for 3.5 hours even though my injury ended up being insignificant and minor. I literally spent all of 5 minutes with a nurse practitioner and it took me 4 hours door to door. This is offensive and unacceptable. They shouldnt allow a patient to book a slot online if they are having a bad day and are 3 hours behind as it shows no respect for anyones time. Additionally they treated me poorly and seemed offended when i expressed my frustration after waiting an hour, then 2 hours, etc.I have been a patient of this group for years and this was the worst experience i have had with them and i now dont know whether to use them again as i dont trust them or their online booking system.
The nurse and the facility is good. However, the nurse practitioner is not very professional and not very patient. While the strep throat test result is positive, she tried to see how my daughter’s throat looks like, my daughter is too young to cooperate, so she gave up and didn’t see how her throat look like. Then she didn’t provide us with instruction that the amoxilin will make her diarrhea worse, and didn’t provide any suggestions on how to cope with diarrhea. My daughter has been having very bad diarrhea, complaining about the abdominal pain, and I need to send her back to see pediatrician again to see what to do.
I did not wait more than 5 minutes before seeing Dr. Udo, who is a wonderful doctor. Very nice bedside manner, very knowledgable and kind. She addressed a number of questions and medical issues during the one visit. The nursing professionals were courteous and attentive. The office was very clean and well maintained. I will not hesitate to come here again.
Staff was incredible. They took us right in with a very sick toddler late on a Friday night. The Staff worked so well with her, they were genuine and caring and made us all feel so comfortable. The nurses all checked in on us while we waited for test results and the Doctor was so genuine that I wanted to hug her at the end. Great experience, I highly recommend!
I’ve been to the Urgent Care and the nurse called me in less than 5 minutes! Very clean and organized.I would like to thank Dr. Udo for giving me an accurate diagnose on my back pain after unbelievable 10 years of chronic pain! She is an angel on earth! Amazing doctor and a great soul! God bless Dr. Udo!I also would like to thank the nurse Isabel for being an amazing professional!
Wasnt feeling well for several days but knew it wasnt Covid-19. Thought it would pass. It didnt. Made an Appointment with the Urgent Care Rep to come in same day and pretty quickly. I was called into Urgent after waiting maybe 10 Minutes, a really nice Nurse took me into a Room and noticed that I was really unwell. Then Dr.H came in and went over my Vitals. He knew what was wrong with me and for the next several hours, I had Nurses check on me and all the necessary tests taken. Thankfully, I got sent home with Directions for Care and Dr.H, was communicative, patient, and did not rush .I recommend Urgent Care when you need Help!!
Very efficient screening process upon entering the building/front desk process. Professionalism, courtesy, interest in me as a person and as a patient----my experience with both Dr. Shuker (after my COVID test) and Dr. Roy Forrest, my internist. (I dont know the name of the nurse who actually did my COVID nasal swab, but I experienced the same with her as with the doctors.)
My experience at WestMed was very nice! My son was not feeling well and the staff is so nice and efficient! - Starting with the front desk, the nurse and Dr. Luke! Thank you Dr. Luke for taking time to speak with my son and providing great information with regards to the vaccine and why it’s important to get vaccinated! :)
I went to Urgent Care and arrived at 7:40 p.m., 20 minutes before it closes and all of the doors were locked. If your hours are 8 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. then they should be accepting patients until that time. Changes your hours if thats not the case. I would have gone someplace else if you werent open.
Honestly, I didn’t realized an urgent care could be so good and so thorough, especially comparing to my experience at a different urgent care the day before. The other place misdiagnosed me and tried to send me for some unnecessary testings. One good thing about westmed is they have their lab and radiology department on site so you can get everything done at the same location. Special thank to dr Christopher luke, he’s patient and he listened to my concerns.
Great patient service! I was taken in fast and seen right away. The nurse and MD was very kind with a lot of patience. They are willing to answer any questions you have. Very clean and cautious especially in these tough times (COVID).I would definitely recommend anyone to come to westmed urgent care.
I was in and out within 20 mins of arriving. Check in is seamless and front desk staff is very competent when taking insurance information. While some visits during cold and flu season do have much longer wait times, it’s to be expected. Especially with it being an urgent care walk-in situation. I have noticed in the past, that while waiting, appointed visits are taken in a timely fashion. Have never had an issue with the medical assistants, nurse practitioners or doctors. Everyone is professional and knows what they’re doing.
Loved the idea of not doing lines for hours. You make an appointment and can be able to pick the date and time, go to the appointment, check in and they send you to the car to wait. I waited around 20 mins, they called me, They take u to a room, the nurse does the test, then the dr comes, ask you some questions and then u r done.
Very responsive diagnosis getting right to the heart of the matter and Advising me of the seriousness of the condition including the offer of an ambulance for the best service to the hospital, which was correctly recognized as the most urgent of care needed for the congestive heart failure. I was so surprised at the diagnosis, that I opted to drive myself which in retrospect was my mistake, so I would only say for future reference, that I should not have been permitted to do it. But I appreciate your giving me the guidance that allowed me to make my own decision, and it was a further lesson that will allow me to make better decisions down the road!
Westmed urgent care facility is one of the best. Everyone from the front desk staff to the nurses and doctors are professional and friendly. I had to visit this facility for finger injury. It is very scary to go to a hospital or clinic during this pandemic. Rest assured that westmed is doing everything they can to keep us safe when you have to go to urgent care. I received excellent care and was out of there in no time. This is the only facility I will use when I need urgent Care
Had to go to Westmed as I fell on my shoulder and needed to get it checked out. Long wait (40 minutes) get into the Urgent Care treatment rooms. Good nurse, great doctor so no complaints re medical personnel, but otherwise somewhat disorganized and very annoying when you hurt.
The facility was clean. All of the staff were kind and efficient. The medical treatment was thorough, professional, and compassionate. The waiting room was full but I was seen within 15 minutes. I am not from NY and this is one of the best urgent care facilities I have ever visited.
My son was hurt during his game which was in North Salem. They didn’t get back to the school until 7:40pm, I picked him up and drove fast and safely to the 210 Urgent Care.At this time it was 7:54pm He ran in and they were able to see him and to get an X-ray. Thank WESTMED for meeting our needs at the last minute before you closed. I don’t know what we would have done if they weren’t able to see us.Kudos to WESTMED ❤️❤️❤️
We live in a very rural area with no proper doctors, so we have gotten used to...well...not much care. We were traveling in the White Plains area when two of our kids needed to be seen by a doctor. This place was clean, professional, friendly, efficient, took our insurance. Our kids were amazed to see excellent, caring medical professionals in action. Definitely recommend!
Everything went as smooth as I could have hoped it would. Everyone I dealt with was pleasant and professional. The doctor who examined my injured finger was thorough and I didnt get the feeling I was being rushed. I waited only a few minutes for an ex-ray. It was a positive experience.
There is always a level of confidence I have with Westledge concerting their competency concerning safety and professionalism and of course intelligence dealing with this pandemic. They are attentive and sympathetic. I would’ve given 5 stars but there are always a few that need training and no one is perfect but I don’t want to feel like I truly have the plague when I cough and STAFF (In hallway-in direct) scatter...the X-ray tech and all other staff i dealt directly with in urgent care for testing were superb!
Chose to come here rather than a smaller“minute clinic” because my daughter needed medical attention on a Sunday for a mysterious abdominal pain. We spent 5 hours here under the excellent, excellent care of Dr. Jason Shuker and his fabulous staff at Westmed Urgent Care. . The Radiology department worked on Sunday and thank goodness they did because she needed an ultrasound AND a CT-scan. Resources make all the difference. Considering the lousy circumstances this was an excellent experience.
I like this location in general, not just for urgent care, but because staff are friendly, it’s easy to get to, it has decent parking (was free on a weekend) and valet service. I recommend making an appointment online for urgent care if only to avoid a long wait when things get backed up. You get text updates and can also check your status online. As a bonus, there is a cafe at the front entrance offering breakfast/lunch.
I use to walk in without the app/kiosk sign up and was seen even on a busy day after a 20min wait max. Today I walked in signed in with the kiosk approx 2:10pm and app stated I was to be seen at 3:00pm. I approach the reception desk at 3pm and said I was to be called shortly. I was called approx 3:15pm. I never waited this long at urgent care. The bad part is you can reserve you space in line even if you’re not at the location which is unfair to people who walk in sick and have emergencies. Seems its convenient to have people wait in person and get skipped by people not even there. The prior process was a lot better and the important part it was fair. I will be researching other urgent care centers in the future.
Had covid19 test at Westmed White Plains, and couldn’t be more satisfied. In and out within an hour arriving 8:15 a.m. Staff was welcoming and professional. Short lines to get temperature checked, check in, painless nasal test. Predicted results in 48 hours and gave me # to call if I didn’t hear.
My mother is a difficult patient, 83 with dementia, desire her fighting to not be there, they were so patent and gentle that she agreed to being treated and got the care she needed. I am beyond grateful for the level of care. Dr. Stevens and the nurse, who’s name I didn’t get, were terrific.
This was my best urgent care visit! It was simple to reserve a spot online and complete some preliminary information on the website. It was a streamlined process once I arrived at the clinic. The staff was pleasant, professional, and took their time to explain ebeverything me.
Great Alternative-When I cant get an appointment with my PCP, I go to the urgent care center. The staff has always been helpful, the wait time is average and the doctors are very thorough. Be sure to pre-pay your parking at the entrance of the building before you leave.
Went to WestMed urgent care in White Plains. My ankle gave out and I fell down the stairs. When I limped in a man from West Med saw me and immediately gave me a wheel chair and checked me in. The entire staff is courteous, caring and professional. All precautions for covid were followed.
Made appointment with endocrinologist here. I received poor, biased treatment by a confused, inexperienced doctor who blamed the pharmacy on incorrectly dosed medication. If you dont care for your quality of life or health I highly recommend a visit here, also good opportunity to see a doctor backpedal on her own words. I recommend downloading a voice recording app if you have an upcoming appointment as they will surely lie about what they said.
Im so grateful for Dr Shuker and the team at Westmed White Plains who came to work on Memorial Day when everything else is closed for the day. Dr Shuker came in and instantly lifted my mood. Friendly and good-humored, he solved my issue right away and I felt very safe during a procedure that might get a few patients nervous. My sincere thanks appreciation!
I was just amazed by the care and concern that was shown to me by EVERYONE on staff there. Especially Lauren(?)the R.N. who is an amazing young woman and nurse! Could not ask for better care! The doctor was also very attentive and concerned about my needs. THANK YOU WESTMED URGENT CARE!!!
I received really bad care at this facility. First of a regular urgent care visit was $199 which is a A LOT. Going to my gynecologist who is also part of westmed is $100 cheaper than that. I made an appointment and was called in pretty quickly, but the doctor didn’t care at all... I was there for a persistent cough and all she did was prescribe me antibiotics without knowing or telling me what I had and if I didn’t feel any better I should come back and spend another $200 for nothing. Especially I was already on antibiotics for a UTI that were helping and she told me to just stop taking them???? The best part though was that they charged me an additional $20 for a pregnancy test that I never consented to or asked for. I thought they were checking to see if I still had UTI causing bacteria in my urine but no that never happened... they didn’t even ask me if I could be pregnant, which btw I couldn’t have been. They also charged me $5 for handling and transporting the urine. When I was the one who had to carry the urine through the whole office to the nurse, which was embarrassing enough and then I also had to pay someone to embarrass myself. I went to a different urgent care facility right after they took an xray of my lungs to make sure that it’s wasn’t pneumonia, did a UTI test for free and didn’t do a pregnancy test since they actually asked me if I could be pregnant, all I had to do was sign a waiver. They also filled out a form that I needed for school. They spent to hours on figuring out what was wrong with me. The facility was was a lot cleaner and not as outdated and the whole bill with the xray was only $150. They also couldn’t understand why westmed treated me so badly.
I badly wanted to give it 5 Stars. Dr. Joy and Mo (first attending nurse) were great. But when I needed blood drawn, other nurse was brusque with me, bossed me around at every step of the day - put your phone down, sit back, sit up, come closer, followed by I need you to not look -- at this point, I asked, why cant I look? -- because you might faint, and i said, I have no problems and Id like to look, followed by defensivesness of you may get dizzy, you never know, it may be 4 minutes later and I said to her, this wouldnt be my first time drawing blood and I happen to be one of those people who enjoy looking.... and I got a whole lecture on what i dont know about myself.
My family has gone numerous times to Urgent care and weve been satisfied in the past. However, I had to take my son this past Friday evening after he lacerated 2 fingers in a metal grate. I felt as if I had to convince the NP to splint, Dermabond and steri-strip my sons fingers. What really upset me was that he was given discharge papers with no mention that his Blood pressure was extremely high at 150/106. No onetold us and it was not re-checked before we left. If I didnt read the instructions I never would have know. That is poor medicine!
I wait for 1 :30 mn . I have very bad cold for 4 days,dr hass ,could not see me ,so I went to urgent care, I was taking those medications out counter who didn’t do anything. I was told they can give me anything else . I still sick and not getting any better today Wednesday.😣

2022-01-28Dr. Ashleigh Mc’Gregor was one of the best doctors I’ve ever seen. She was very thorough, patient, kind , helpful and made you feel very comfortable. She went over and beyond and even helped in more ways then I came in for. I thank her wholeheartedly and appreciate all she did for me today. She definitely stands out more then anyone I’ve seen before.

2022-04-22The visit was excellent from top to bottom. Having reserved a spot on line I had very little wait time and treated respectfully and thoroughly by both the nurse and Physician’s Assistant. I feel my issue has been resolved.

2022-03-24Thank you Westmed. I had a virtual visit and was asked to come in. Your reception staff was great and I did not wait long at all. The nurse and doctor examined me and answered my questions with ease. I was completely comfortable. That’s exactly what is needed especially during this time. Thank you.

2022-06-29Every person at the desk was very helpful one secondly, I wasn’t sure which Covid test to take and the young woman at the desk called someone on staff & explained my question, and then gave me a very helpful answer! The nurse doing the COVID Test explained in more detail why a PCR was more reliable than a rapid test! It was late- 7 pm and they close at eight but no one rushed me and I waited literally only about six minutes before being attended to. Well trained staff!

2022-02-04Scheduled online last minute and able to get a spot within the hour. Dr. Baggley was most attentive and treated me above and beyond my expectations. Gotten used to doctors rushing to get you out and not listening to patients complaints. This was different, Thank you to all attending staff!

2022-04-07While the staff seems fine, there is really no concept of time at this place. Be prepared to wait for over an hour past appointment time for just blood work. I am used to going to places that run a tight business, but this place is just awful when it comes to managing people.

2022-05-24OMG…I came to drop off a specimen and had to wait forever just to drop it. So many people complaining they’ve been waiting for hours for their appointment. I don’t see why the specimen drop off process has to be treated like a visit to urgent care. This is crazy. This is very unacceptable. Don’t see why someone can’t just print the label and come pick up the specimen. It shouldn’t take 45 minutes for a drop off.Edited: The specimen I dropped off was a urine specimen for my 3 year old daughter. It took me 3 days to get my 3 year old to pee in a cup. When they finally called me to drop off the specimen they just had me drop it in a box and walked out. I asked if that’s all I needed to do why did I have to wait so long? They claimed their system was down. No one verified the specimen. No one labeled the specimen. It has been over a week now and no results yet posted like they discarded the specimen. This utterly ridiculous. I’m very disappointed in westmed.

2022-07-09Urgent care visit to have cold symptoms checked out. The nurse and doctor were professional and polite and did not make me feel as though they were rushing. The wait was not bad.

2022-07-05First timer at Westmed Medical Care. Staff from the sign in desk to my visit with the Dr were efficient, professional and cared about my well being. I am happy to have gone there & if needed will continue to see them.
