Beyond disgusted they have absolutely no manners I went in for one thing I should have checked my item but if your going to a shop to purchase something it shouldnt be USED it should be sealed an BRAND NEW !!!!! so I ran back to the store to exchange my product just for them to slam the doors in my face Because they had five minutes to close up I will be calling corp!!
Never coming back to this place. Went for an inspection and the people inside Yamaha (not the service in the back) did not want me inside their location waiting they wanted me to wait outside in the 90 degree weather. They also had some staff follow us around in the store. I was definitely being discriminated against. I even walked to another section and the guy simply followed and looked around at the air. I paid and left and I’m never coming back. Stay away from this place if you respect yourself and your bike
My bike had a problem with the gas line on Monday and by the next day, my bike was fixed and ready to get back on the street. Customer service is spectacular and they are very professional! The work they perform on motorcycles, jet ski’s is great quality. Their prices is very good! When I come to this place they make me feel like my bike is in great hands always. I would definitely recommend this location!
The Yamaha team at New Rochelle were amazing. I called and asked if I can bring my bike in today and get it back the same day. I took my R3 to get it’s first service I bought my bike in at 12 and I got my bike at closing time. They went above and beyond for me and I appreciate the work they did to my bike. My bike is my baby and if I had it to someone they should give it back to me the same way or 100 times better and the Yamaha team did just that. Thanks, I appreciate everything you guys are doing!
I am a first time moped owner (2017 taotao) and everyone here was so pleasant to work with. They helped me take the moped I adopted and fixed it form the ground up. I now have a smooth running scooter and a great support team. They even called the next day to check and see how the ride home was and if I had experienced any issues! The best part is the repairs were done faster than I even expected and they definitely worked as best they could with my budget. Definitely would recommend and will be using them again for any upcoming scooter/bike concerns.
So disappointed in this place. Wanted to like it because of how close it is. But three strikes and youre out. First I was told I would have the bike back in a day...took 5 days....was told that it would be around $200 came out to $400 but the worse part is I ding/chip on the gas tank. I have to see this thing every time I sit on the bike. Looks like a tool fell on it as they were working on it. A simple towel over it would have saved them. But it shows the little details that a good service shop would not spare. Looking elsewhere next time. So should you.
I cant give a 0 star review on Yelp, but if I could I would. I dropped my dirt bike off in March and was told it would be returned within a month. It is now August, and I have still not got my bike back. Every time I call the shop to ask when it will be ready they make up excuses and keep changing the story. It has been almost FIVE MONTHS and I have still not got my bike back. Again, last weekend I was told my bike would be ready by Tuesday, and here it is Saturday and it is still not done. I rented a U-Haul for an entire week waiting to pick up my bike and it is still not available. I asked the service manager to drop off my bike since they have not fulfilled their promises, and was told maybe but it will cost money. The business is disorganized and has terrible customer service at every level. I would never go back to this shop under any circumstances, unless of course my bike does not work as it should when I get it back (assuming that ever happens). Riders beware: if you want to get your bike back within six months, avoid this business at all costs. I have wasted so much time and money dealing with this shop. 0/10 recommend.
This place knows how to make a customer happy. Their quality of service is excellent. I brought my Yamaha waverunner there and they not only fixed it but gave me extra tips on how to take good care of it. Also, a good price. I am very happy with the experience in this place. I will probably buy my next waverunner from them.
Wish I can give this a 0, worst place to go for service. I took my quad because it wouldnt start, they change starter motor, relay, and and shim 3 valve , charge me $1300 they call me and tell me the quad is ready I go and pick it up test it out quad was misfiring it had a bog, waste my time and uhual money, they told me to leave they will give me a call back, they call me back 3 day after told me it was ready, when I was there it was riding good no problem, got home and try to start it the next day it was having problems cranking and would not start , bike had a big oil leak by the exhaust, when it did starter it will idle then turn back off and won’t start, call them back and they said battery was dead, bike had enough for it to start and still wouldn’t do nothing. Worst place to go for service would NOT be going back and wil NOT recommended to nobody.
I will give this place less than 1star if I could I give them - 1star. I took my jet boat to him to get a tune up and make sure everything is running perfectly fine, Frankie the owner told me he checked it and everything was perfectly fine. Took it out on the water and there was water getting inside the boat. I call Frankie told him the situation and that I need to bring the boat back and what he did to it and said he gave it a tune-up and he checked everything so he didnt see any problem and once I told him Im going to bring it back in so he can recheck it he kept giving me the run-around till he went on vacation. Now I cant get in touch with him and he charged me $700 and all it looks like from the new mechanic that I took it to, that he just change the spark plugs and it was only two spark plugs. Personally I think the guy just robbed me blind and I wouldnt take my boat or anything there and trust him with what he says.
Ive been a super-happy customer of Yamaha Wheel Sport for 5 - 6 years. Its most likely -- I say certainly -- the best sports sales and service outfit not only in Westchester but the whole NYC metro area -- and I have seen many others. Their people are experienced, knowledgeable, fair and friendly.
Just called there cause I was looking for a Stator and the lady tells me that sure they can order it but I would have to pick it up.I explained her that I am from Sacramento CA and that is a 2816 miles trip for me to come get it since I dont have anyone in New York to come pick it up for me .And her response was I am sorry .You would think that a Motorcycle shop like that would have a shipping option but I GUESS THEY DONT.I AM NEVER EVER CALLING THIS PARTICULAR SHOP AGAIN.
The service department is fast reliable and responsible working alongside with the parts department to make everything a smooth transaction. The best Yamaha dealership in town. They service both r6 and vstar. They continue to amaze me with there workmanship and great personalities. Thanks Yamaha for making me smile every time I walk in and ride out. ;)
I called to inquire about a dirt bike, and the gentleman that worked there was very helpful. Straight shooter, offered solid pricing without the hassle (price of bike was less than other dealers right off the bat), and he provided guidance on my questions concerning comparison of Yamaha v Honda. Thx for your help and candor!
Service Was usuall decent left a dirt bike in 2 months ago told em a couple weeks still not readyLeft my sons dirt bike in a week and a half ago they told me a few days after getting of the phone the told me the bike isn’t ready and if you need it so bad pick it up and drop it some where else.Spent 200$ a few weeks ago to get it fixed still isn’t working and my kid (5years old) has a race this weekend so they charged me 200 to fix a bike isn’t fixed had to bring it back and tel me a week now tell me bring it somewhere else it’s a joke pw50 taken over a month to fix
This Shop Is A Rip Off, & Racist! The Mexican/Hispanic Workers in the shop are kind, knowledgeable, and go above and beyond w/ service on you vehicle! However the management is terrible and has been for years! I have dreaded this place for a while, they tell you one price and give you another, they want try to take your excess pieces and pocket them for themselves, they try to nickel and dime every little thing such as disposal of excess pieces that they are probably going to sell, and last but certainly not least! I went in last year to buy a brand new bike with my father... I am a person who is definitely well off and have money to play with... However after just asking what the out the door price was on a bike and possibly two I was told... Come over here we might have some used bikes in your price range! I was astounded, how do you know my price range? How do you know how much money I have when I never said a budget to you nor was I ever on one!!! The very next day we went to prospect powersports and bought two brand new 2018 Supersport bikes with 0 miles on them and spent a total of 35,000$ paid in full! This place has lost business from me for life and unless I am stranded in front of the shop without another option in sight! I would never go here again! Lost my customer business for life and I hope whoever in the family inherets this shop takes notes of these reviews and doesnt follow in the family footsteps of the weak minded individual who runs this place!
We walked in had to wait almost 10 mins before anyone helped/acknowledge us. Mike came to help us we told him what we wanted, which we was standing by already, he stated the prices as we were telling him ok lets do paperwork. Another male customer walked in and ask do thet have any jet skis. Mike walked away from us and started explaining to him all about the Jetskis that they were sold-out of. Then came back to us and stated the banks are closed handed us paperwork and told us to come back in the morning. Im sure everyone wont have this experience though.
When I purchase my first motorcycle 2004 Yamaha R1. I entered the shop to very friendly and family oriented people... The first thing that was done before the motorcycle entered the shop was it started and listened to for any mechanical problems.. Once that was done I was informed they would inform me if any work is needed... Just a oil change, battery and new tires.. Since 2014.
Pay attention do not buy jet ski here, and don’t even think about taking your jet ski there to fix it or repair it, because I took my jet ski there to change they oil and my jet ski Speeding was 74 miles per Hour and They also slowed the RPM revolution per minute ! Most of my friends have been through the same cases with this company. My friends and I have concluded that this people fix something but damage another one that way you have to go always there to spend more money !

Display should be ashamed of calling themselves a Yamaha dealership. The service is horrible they rush you out they don’t give you right parts and then got the nerve to say they don’t except returns. I will never buy a single thing out of that dealer again neither will anybody I know or anybody I work on their stuff
First off the customer service is great but the prices on certain things are double maybe sometimes triple them would it cost over the Internet there should be no reason why a company that partnership franchise charge so much. I would highly suggest using the internet or doing research on how much prices are on certain things before buying from here. I just came from there and bought a banshee right side gasket that cost me almost $50 when it was only $10 maybe 15 the most. Sad to say these guys are a bunch of rip offs
I was passing through NY on a multi-state motorcycle trip and urgently needed a specific part to continue on my trip. The service/general manager was very helpful and got me on the road quickly. They didnt have the exact fit part that I needed, but got me an item that worked so well, that I still use it today! Outstanding service, thank you!
No wonder why this place have no business and will never have my business ever, i would rather drive to queens from the bronx then going here. This is the second time for me going there to buy something and leaving the store empty just because of the employees are too lazy to open their mouth and come talk to me. They just standing there even after noticing me like i just went there to see their face, i called them, just waived his hand and kept standing there, last time when i went there 2 ladies were too busy with flirting with a dude, it’s the dude who noticed me standing there for a while then he told them to go help me, while the lady just came to me letting me know they don’t have my size for the jacket with even asking for any other help, she went back her flirting job, wouldn’t recommend this place, you better go to long island city one and will get help and respect.
Wish I could give this place a zero star. This was my 3rd time going there and my last. They have the worst customer service ever. Im not sure how they stay in business. If your looking for a shop with polite employees and good customers service, this is not the shop to go to.
Will never go there again order some parts from them. After they installed everything there was a part I didn’t need and wouldn’t refund me the money after they told me I needed the part they seem like the don’t care about the customer they want you to buy and get out-5 stars
The son Frankie robbed me and destroyed my Jetski it’s been sitting there for three months with the check engine light on they have no idea what’s going on and when I brought my ski to them it was perfectly fine no check engine lights this is crazy now the son is no where to be found
WHEN YOU VISIT LOOKING FOR A BIKE THEY HAVE LIKE 3 YEAR OLD MODELS IN STOCK THEY HAVENT SOLD. I RECENTLY WENT TO LOOK FOR A YAMAHA ATV. TOLD THEM WHAT THEIR COMPETITORS WERE SELLING THEM FOR, AND THEY SAID, WE DONT SELL LIKE THAT. NO WONDER THEY HAVE THREE YEAR OLD UNITS IN STOCK. BOUGHT THE ATV FOR $2500, LESS THAN THEY WERE ASKING. ????????DO YOUR HOME WORK AND THEN CALL THE OTHER YAMAHA DEALERS FIRST. YOULL SAVE A BUNCH OF MONEY AND GET A NEW MODEL YEAR MACHINE! ITS TOO BAD BECAUSE FRANK WAS ALWAYS A NICE GUY BUT HES OBVIOUSLY NOT PAYING ATTENTION TO HIS BUSINESS.
I went there last week to pick up my bike and I was reading the reviews nobody should get mad at them I also had to wait like a month because of this virus for my parts to come in I know it’s not the dealerships fault I’m a new customer to Wheel Sport Center but now they have the old service manager back and I’ve been there a couple times and the place is really really nice so all the people that are complaining about waiting for there bike it’s not their fault, I had to wait for my parts to come in and I have no problem with that it’s not the dealerships fault.

2022-04-08Wow! I should have read the reviews to see that this is their usual practice before agreeing to let them fix my bike. I still remembered the day that Frank (farther) picking my 87 Magna on April 19, 2021. Frank (son) gave me an estimate of about $1,000 plus some change, and he said it would be ready in about a month. I kept calling and kept getting the answers that it would be ready soon, so I held on to the indoor garage thinking that I would need it any day now. It has been almost a year now. Frank told be that the total is about $2,500! Oh, that does not include fixing a gas leak. If I want to fix the leak, it would be another about $500.🤬 I can understand if the total is $1,500, but not 150% more than I was quoted. I would rather sold it and bought a new bike. I do not think this is a fair practice at all. In addition, they are so unorganized that they’ve lost a box of parts that I gave them. It contains windshield, back rest, shelf, and I don’t think they are going to take responsibility for that.

2022-05-25I just came from another dealer in the Bronx they couldn’t fix my bike I brought it to Jose and Frank I had to wait a little while but they fixed it when two other shops couldn’t fix it, Jose was great, I don’t listen to negative reviews, I’m sure there not accurate but from my experience with Jose and Frank they really know there stuff. 2017 R1.. there’s not a lot of bike shops around that been in business as long as Frank has of course not every shop is perfect but people we can’t complain about every little thing. Some of these negative reviews are ridiculous…..

2022-04-16My bike was not running anymore. I called and they said bring it in. After checked they said there is water in the gas tank. I go and I make the payment and bring the bike home. The next morning the bike does not run anymore. I bring the bike back to them. They called and said it is the pump inside the tank. I buy the pump, they replace it, I pay I bring the bike home and the next morning does not run. I bring the bike back, they checked it and said the battery is not good. I payed for battery, this time not for labor, I bring the bike home and same thing. I bring the bike back to the dealer and they said that it is an electrical problem but they have to charge me extra $400 just to check it. At this point I could not hold it anymore and I requested for refund because of course nothing they did was the problem. Of course they did not refund anything.So.... i decided to study and fix the bike by myself. I tried the stator, I checked all electrical (not any issue there), I changed rectifier and still the same. I go down and I hit just a little bit the STARTER and the bike started . I bought a new STARTER and since than there was never an issue with the motorcycle.

2021-05-17Awesome place and excellent staff. I bought my first brand new motorcycle snd Mike the sales manager was great. Got me on my new bike with in an hour of purchase. I also had the pleasure of talking with Frank the owner. He is very knowledgeable. The service department is great and the sales at parts department are very helpful. Will definitely be doing all my maintenance and service at Wheel Sport Center

2022-05-25Please don’t bring your motorcycle for service here or buy one!!! The son (Frankie) is horrible. They don’t know how to work on bikes! I will be bringing them to court!!! The father (owner) doesn’t help at all! The shop is undermanned and it forces Jose’s to do a half job!!!

2022-04-30Went there for service and a full exhaust/ lcd upgrade. Entered, they said, go to frank. Went to frank, frank said go upstairs, went upstairs and she knew nothing about the parts she is to order but asked for a deposite. What? I left. On the way out, Franks said everything good I said no, she didnt know anything about anything and Went straight to a deposite. (I am here to pay in full) he said what exhaust did you want? I replied I am not sure. His response do you research umm what do I need you for then? Didnt I come to the experts? Never again. They lost my money. Glad I didnt leave a deposite

2022-05-03So I normally don’t write reviews but I have an older motorcycle also 1982 Seca and I’ve been there three or four times, the shops in Bronx and Queens will not repair my motorcycle because of the age so I feel very comfortable traveling up to Westchester to see Frank at the shop, I understand my bike is an older bike and parts are hard to get and Frank always keeps in touch with me because I’m trying to restore it so the person who wrote the review last week I take his review with a grain of salt but I think Frank does a great job taking care of his customers and you can’t always make everybody happy.

2022-06-03I never been to a place of business that they rushing one to purchase and spend your money and then be rude at the same time the lady at service and parts was weird and rude even after me being calm cool and respectful still was like a weird vibe , even another customer experience the same type of energy from that lady she needs to learn how to be humble and welcoming when dealing with customers one would’ve called it racist but I’ll let the next one tell it . 🤔🤔🤔

2022-04-03ZERO STARS. UNBELIEVABLY SLOW SERVICE FOR NO REASON AND OVER PRICED.Prices quoted will also change on your actual receipt.I WILL NEVER RETURN and am using this as a learning experience. I DONT WISH THIS EXPERIENCE ON MY WORST ENEMY.THE END.
