I made an order requesting 3 items then, asked the male cashier with dreads and a stomach (had no name tag) to repeat my order back to me. He informed me everything I had ordered was there and didn’t reread my order back to me in which I just waited to check my recipe because the price wasn’t adding up. When I had checked only 2 items were there. When I informed him he displayed nothing, but low reciprocation skills. He repetitively spoke over me with frustration and mumbles under his breath informing me that’s what I ordered and constantly refusing to listen that I had requested 3 different items off the menu which 1 item I requested wasn’t on receipt. The food was on point, but the poor customer service/ communication skills displayed by this cashier made my experience extremely difficult.
It’s fast food but takes high diner preparation time 🤷♂️ l really examined this time , there were 6 staff on floor so it seemed enough personel. So why food preparation is always 20+ minutes ? You need ‘mise an place’ here . Whoever manager there , Don’t do nothing just follow they have enough fries, burger breads , cheese etc . Letthem make ready before customer arrives if needed . Please don’t forget YOU F FAST FOOD restaurant not a DINER . Don’t steal people’s time or they will find faster ones !
Even Though the Chairs & Tables are up and not being used due to Pandemic the Restaurant Is welled Cleaned like the first day of opening and that added security to my visit therefore I believe I will be visiting this Restaurant again cause it made me feel at ease in an clean establishment like this keep up the good work/Owners and Peers
DONT WASTE YOUR TIME!! Theyre quick to take your money, but make you wait 40 minutes for your order, if its the right order. When you ask them when your order will be ready, they act as though they dont hear you. I just asked for my money back and walked out. 40 minutes wasted and Im still hungry!
Oh wow... first visit to New York and first visit to white castle, customer got into a cussing battle with a worker about her order not being correct after she had been waiting for an hour, they carried on so bad with the manager standing there , me and my party of 7 left. It was so unprofessional and disappointing.
Food is the same as its always been except for the occasional hikes in price from how cheap it used to be.now the service thats what needs upgrading.a smile and a thank you for your order would go along way but most of the time its attitude.i buy from this location at most twice a year and its always been the same.
One of the worst customer service i have ever seen in my entire life. They dont respond to the drive thru. I waited after work for burgers i was so hungry. I couldnt place order for half an hour standing with my car. i could not go back because there was a car behind me in drive thru and customer service a young black guy and a lady was not responded at all. When i came to window they asked the order again. It was so frustrating. I have never experienced something like that. Food is worse than your house garbages.
Horrible experience. Absolutely horrendous attitude when I entered. I was there to get my order, but I was ignored again and again for a simple combo meal. Cashier never replies even though I spoke at a voice that was nearly yelling. After a while, other customers entered and they were served instead. The customers then verbally assaulted me as I try and understand why am I not getting my order when I entered half an hour earlier than others. Im pretty sure denying service by race was illegal business practice, but apparently it was allowed if youre Asian. Shortly after, I was receiving threats from customers that theyll knock you out and received racial slurs. If youre wondering when this exactly happened, it happened 10 minutes prior to me writing this review. Never have I ever thought I would see something like that outside of history books.
Known to locals as the Fart Burger. I used to eat here as child growing up in Brooklyn. It was hubbys first time in NY, so it was important for him to have a full experience, the servers were sweet and cheerful. The service was painfully slow, but we made the best of it by checking our bank accounts and mapping out the days entire itinerary while sitting the drive-thru. We ordered the 10 Cheesy Pack. It came out hot and fresh, and most importantly; The Fart Burger lived up to its name. We kept the car windows down for the rest of the day! Yay White Castle!!!! WE LOVE YOU!!!
Every time I come to this location the wait time is very long. The wait time is ridiculous 30 minutes - 1 hour is long , but the food taste good. They move very slow at this location. and they only care about the drive through. There was two different ladies that was waiting for their orders one lady just order a small smoothie that took 30 minutes and another one ordered online 30 minutes before arriving and still had to wait another 30 minutes for her food. I only recommend here if you’re going to the drive through
I don’t recommend this place!It was a horrible experience!!!!!!!! The service was extremelyyyyy SLOW!!!!!! Even I have already placed my order in the APP,it still took me approximately 1hr30mins in Drive Thru. I was stuck in the middle while I wanted to leave! Never again!!!
Quick service, I did use the app to order. I felt the fries were a little soggy and undercooked.I also did try the beyond meat breakfast slider; and I l am sorry to say that it was not tasty (unlike my other beyond meat experiences)! Also the chick sandwich slider was extremely dry.I think Ill just stick to the classic White Castle Burger sliders in future which I do enjoy and good thing at this location service is fast.
Look, please I am trying my best not to be so critical of fast food joints, considering the presence State the whole world is in. But in the past few months of dealing with grief and uncertainty about what tomorrow will be, fast food employees almost everywhere you go, have a Funky I really dont give A ##×&&>🖕👁 you know what I mean!!Now that pretty much sums it up.Like I said, I am not trying to put anyone or any place of business down.

This place is running 24 hours. They are a relief to late night folks who need a snack now. The order was repeated back to us efficiently, the wait in the very long drive-thru line was actually fairly short; they were knocking out orders swiftly! The order was correct and as good as Sliders should be. The only downside was the ubiquitous beggar walking down the line of cars. This was not my first visit to this location, wont likely be my last either. Thank you White Castle crew!
We came down from Philly to visit family in Brooklyn and being we dont ha e good pizza nor white Castel this would be one of our must stops in New York. The experience here was good. The service was fast the food was good the staff made it all happne within seconds. White caste we miss u. Lol. Thanks for the food guys.
Place is a joke even for a fast food restaurant. Nothing but unhappy employees who could care less about service or serving folks in a timely fashion. I blame a lot of it on management as theres simply not enough employees on duty to service the customers they have waiting. With that being said, to wait 15 minutes just to give your order to a person who looks more angry than you even though youre the one whos been waiting forever isnt exactly a pleasant experience. Place needs an overhaul from top to bottom (where it currently resides), I wont be back.
I dont know how, the corporate office isnt aware of this locations need of assistance.The numbers may not reflect, yet this location manages volumes of lose sales.Expansion is needed. The reason the sales dont reflect is because of walk out. You cant allow people to want your services and walk away. Because of excessive amounts of wait time and customers lose of patience do time restrictions.Even the high number of deliveries. Im assuming, UberEast, DoorDash, and any other. Had a 45 minute wait.I waited more than a hour and forty five minutes tonight.I wish I could locate my receipt,, to validate my experienceIt may not seem initially as a worthy investment. What i will say, is pay a visit to this location, to help in determining what can be done.
To my surprise the person in front of me paid for my meal. I was so grateful I decided to pay it forward or backwards depending on how you look at it and paid for the person behind mes meal. The drive-thru cashiers both seemed genuinely touched by this act. Many blessings to the person who paid for my meal and to the drive-thru cashiers for being genuinely nice people!
Waited almost an hour at the drive thru, until my order was done. After I put in my order, a friend of mine ordered the same thing inside restaurant but ended up getting theirs before me. To understand how long they took, the car behind me gave up and ended up leaving with me without their food. Yikes!
The service and time waiting for fast food was atrocious. My meal was lacking what Id ordered and had extra of what I didnt want and order. The wait was 39 minutes pasted the apps pick up time, which was at the time 25 minutes from when Id initially placed my order.Oh, lucky, my veggie burger was just blah and not as bad as it was presented.Smfh
My friend and I waited in the drive thru for 45mins!!! No exaggeration and when I got up to the window and mentioned it they look at you like you crazy. Unbelievable! We like a lot hanging out. Yesterday we arrived in this excellent place which friends told us about. We passed a lovely experience there with exceptional dishes and a nice crew and a distinguished chef. We added this fine restaurant in our phone list and we will definitely go again soon. We warmly recommend.
I love White Castle in general, but like most White Castles the service here was painfully slow. However, since my family anticipated the service being slow and likely confused by 5 different orders coming out of the same car, my mom and dad went into the restaurant and ordered for themselves while my sister and brother-in-law and I went through the drive-through (baby asleep in the back 😉). My parents were out of the restaurant in about 15 minutes with takeout, we waited about 15 minutes in line, then about 10-15 minutes for our orders to come out. It all came out at different times, but to their credit the orders were accurate. Not complaining, just recommending probably dont use the drive-through if you come here.
Use to come here since as a kid in the 90s, it’s the worst ever now. How the heck you order something way ahead on the app and once you reach for the order, waiting almost an hour for it. Not only I never received my ordered, they refuse to help or search for an order I paid and waited for. I will be fighting for a refund back and taking it corporate!!! Smh!!!
Messed up my order today. I get home and they gave me the wrong combo. This is the second time. Worst feeling is to get home and think your going to eat something that you can’t wait to eat. On top of that I don’t eat chicken Fromm here or no where else, so this was an insult because I ordered fish.
Utilized the drive-thru. Usually a 10-minute wait but worth it as the cashier there is always accurate with the order, always friendly and hes quick & efficient. I even told him and, subsequently, his crew manager when she came to the window. Food came out piping hot, milkshakes cold. 💯🏆
The decor is a little messy but forget that. The workers are ABSOLUTELY WORTH coming to this location. We came by to grab a bite to eat early on a Tuesday afternoon & every single one of them had a pleasant disposition & spoke to every customer with the upmost respect, especially the young ladies taking and serving the orders. They worked very efficiently & our food was extremely fresh; AWESOME LOCATION
I often stop here to grab a quick bite to eat. The customer service is fast and friendly! I have to give a special thanks to Sara! Shes always very kind and accommodating! Moreover, she always has a smile on her face, no matter how busy it gets! She needs a raise, ASAP!
Worst service EVER!! Waited more than 20 minutes for an order I had placed online. When I ask the person if my order was ready the first time she just stared at me and ignored me and when I asked a second time she gave me an attitude. While the other 4 or so employees just stood around doing nothing while there were other customers in the establishment and they were laughing when the woman with the attitude kept talking and making comments. We the customers didn’t make her work there. She shouldn’t catch an attitude with the customer if shes in the wrong. Plus the other gentleman she gave attitude to was being so pleasant and not once did he disrespect her. You should hire friendlier employees or retrain the ones you have because it’s disgusting the way they treat people
They need to work on their customer service and speed of making orders. There was a guy that was complaining about all the orders in the back and everyone was taking their time to make the orders. I waited over an hour for my food that i ordered online. Imagine if i had just walked in.

Took exactly 45min for two fish sandwiches with fries.The place is a mess. The local homeless man pretty much runs the soda machine. I’ve also witnessed the worker grabbing your frozen french fries with his bare hands to put it in the fryer cancel my order same time!!
Horrible drive thru after restaurant closes. Spent 40 minutes trying to get my order. Absolutely ridiculous especially for fast food. Maybe in a sit down tablecloth restaurant but not a $2 burger joint. Ridiculous. This happened after midnight when the dining room was closed. Horrible experience. Just awful! I have been here twice now (dont know why I did that to myself) and BOTH times waited nearly an hour for my food. The women at the counter are nice but obviously very exasperated by dealing with the upset customers due to the horrid service in the back. The last time they even said the GM was there. How can it take so long?! They need to hire someone like me to clean house there. I will NEVER go back.
Nice people which serves mostly locals with some tourists near a busy intersection. Has a drive through and a small parking lot. Food is good, however the large menu challenges the crew to make the food quickly so it took a while to get your meal. The inside is clean to eat in, or take out is easy to do. Check your order before you go since in their haste, they can miss things. But if you need the get a hot classic, here it is!
We waited an hour for our food. Bad service and slow workers. There are a lot of people hanging around here asking for money.I will not come here unless I want to waste my time and play games in the car. I literally could have watched a whole movie waiting in this line.
I would like to start off by saying this place has the slowest drive thru ever. I waited on line for at least 30 mins and when I get to the window its 5 people back there talking. My second complaint is not with the store but the company decisions about the food they are producing. Had the impossible burger and nearly threw up. It reminded me of the $1.25 chicken hotdogs from keyfood. They seriously need to reconsider that burger or at least try to add a baby lettuce, a cherry tomato, chopped onions and KETCHUP instead of 1 dry cheese and 2 pickles. Thank you
The workers move too slow and the manager have no control of their attitudes meaning their employees. And one worker is cursing because she’s hot and aggravated. They need new management. Cause the manager moving slow as well. It’s sad. And they don’t clean the tables or inside it’s filthy all day
Chaotic. I placed my order online and told to wait 20 minutes. So I went through the drive through and had to wait 20 more minutes only to get to the window and my order still wasnt ready for another 15 minutes and once I got my order, my order was still incomplete. The workers didnt start preparing my order until I got to the window and still screwed it up.
Just a very poor service from the employees, a young girl who was at the checkout around 11pm, totally rude, left me waiting 1 hour for the food to be ready !!! It was absurd what happened on 03.28.2020 in this store. In addition everything is young, she was completely rude and pretended not to listen when she would ask how long the food would be ready, she also refused to call the manager, the manager who pretended not to see what was happening, almost a crime what happened, I hope you take action and check how many orders of Uber eats, Doordash, etc. have been canceled and delayed! NOTHING JUSTIFIES 1: 30H WAITING!
This was worst experience at the White Castle on Utica Ave in Brooklyn. Waited in the drive thru line for 45min to order..only 5/6 cars in line ahead of us. Got to the window, could see the person printing receipts, doesnt say anything to us. Another person comes aftet watching the workers for 15min. Than someone asks us our order again, takes my money, waited 15 more minutes for change...y cause the person we originally watched for 15min had to bring change. The staff was rude, not helpful, nor communicated with us. This is a poorly managed store.
I went here about 3 am a little before. The service was very slow. I order cheese burgers and it took 30 minutes to get 2 cheeseburgers. Not to mention there were so many Ubereats deliver people there waiting for pick ups that I thought they were on line it took me about 5 minutes to realize that. I dont usually post commets, but the service was so horrible I feel its a friendly tip to any other going there at this time. You will wait 30 minutes for 2 cheeseburgers.
The Drive-Through at this place after 5:00PM is nuts. If youre lucky enough to place an order within a half hour of waiting in a VERY short line, you will be rewarded with another half hour wait for the food to be ready. My friend came by once around 10:00PM and waited literally over two hours in the drive through with only one other customer in queue. He wasnt on his way home until 12:30AM. Such a travesty. Not sure who they think theyre serving to but they definitely wont last much longer at this location with this horrible level of service. The gentrification is coming and its going to hit them harder than a sack of bricks.
I used to love going here as a child, there was something exciting about standing online with my ticket and waiting for my food. Nowadays I dread the thought of even going near it. Their wait times are outrageous. Once I got there and there were 3 to 4 Uber eats driver is complaining that they’ve been waiting about 40 minutes, and I had to wait about the same. It got to the point that all the Uber drivers left without the food. I tried to do the same but they refused to give me a refund. Instead of getting my money back I got 2 burgers and a sm fries that took an hour to prepare, and the burgers were soggy and disgusting.
This is the most terrible white castle ever even gave them a chance to Rectify themselves two different occasions I ordered the fish with cheese can you believe they do not put tartar sauce on that dry sandwich ask for utensils and they never include them in the bag forever forgetting something in the order order a large drink and you will find the drink poured out in a bag because the delivery person is an idiot very poor service the epitome of ghetto
Love the double Cheese burgers, nothing compares to a quick stop at White Castles. Sadly they are closing everywhere so its tuff to find one. Hopefully they will figure out something to keep themselves from closing all together. Maybe those 3 in 1 fastfood restaurants Im seeing everywhere could be a solution for them. Anyway service was friendly and as quick as they possibly could get me my order.
Worst service ever they take way to long with making food and the person who takes the order ends up making food and working in the kitchen like I feel like if u have the register stay on the register and let the other workers in the back fix the food and they have no line for uber eats or Doordash delivery people etc.
This was the worse wait I have ever had. Took them over 1 hour to have the food prepared and ready. The other customers waiting were belligerent and frustrated. First, they didn’t give me my cups for drinks. Cashier got mad and made me wait when I asked for the cups. Then, when I checked my order, I was missing a fries and of course, got an attitude from the cashier. Had to wait and additional 5 mins for my fries. Will NEVER, EVER, go back to this White Castle again!!!
Grant it... It WAS about 3am when I pulled up in the drive thru, but damn... 1 person on the window and 1 on the grill? Service WAS paint dryingly SLOW. The ONLY thing that stopped me from leaving was the fact another car pulled up BEHIND me and I couldnt back out. Put my order in and literally waited 25 minutes to get my food. Window lady was ok tho. Not again unless I can walk in...
First time I used the drive through in a long time. Apparently for good reason. Reached my destination, at least an half mile away, pulled everything out and of course one of my expensive bacon double cheese burgers was mysteriously not in the bag!😡 Not happy camper!!!
I went to White castle the other night. Wasnt the best Experience. They took forever to get my order the line was very Slow for the drive thru. When It was finally My time to pay for my order The Manager asked Me for my I.D With my debit card But did not ask anyone else. I guess it was because I was Black and young driving a mercedes. The Manager was very Rude when asked Why an I.D was Needed he rudely Responded With just incase. Ive been there Many times Before and never had that experience. the food was also cold when I Received it. So over a ll my experience was terrible .
White Castle has been around for a long time. If you like a quick bite and like hamburgers these little burgers also known as sliders will do the trick .They are very tasty.,they also sell fish burgers and fries too. . And they stay open 24 hrs so you can get them anytime , especially after a night of partying and you want to get a bite before going home.
I am sorry, but management needs to figure something out with the timing in which people get thier and place them. No way should someone wait in line 30 minutes to place and order then wait 45 minutes to receive it. Keep in my mind, i was doing deliveries so I had to wait for the food.
They forgot my sauce when they sent it with Uber eats. Never in my life have I seen someone in a fast food restaurant bad an item and not put any sauce. My entire meal is ruined and I wish I could send it back. 20$ down the drain because they don’t want to follow simple directions

One of the worst if not the worst White Castle Im Brooklyn..young kids going in slow motion and no service whatsoever stood 8n line over 10 min. Only 3.people in rest. The most stupid thing I did was to go to White Castle when it was rush hour and to use the drive thru, the wait was unbearable!!!! Honestly, it took me more than 30 mins to get my food. I know some people may say 30 mins is not that long but when you are hungry😤. My “two stars” are only for the wait not the food which was so good!!
Five star experience. I ordered a crave case and was ecstatic to find out that my meal came with a brief case that I was even allowed to bring home. Its going to make looking for work so much easier having something to carry my CV in. Im sure after a few interviews the grease stains will go away. I ordered extra onions, pickles and ketchup. I was simply delicious. I had horrendous diarrhea the next day. I look forward to returning ASAP.P.S. the large shake is overwhelming and the medium is perfectly adequate.
Floor were insanely sticky. Tables were all dirty. Garbage was full and drink station was messy. I had to wait 10 minutes to place my order even when there wes no customer but all employees were busy chitchatting instead of paying attention to the customer service or dining room.
We waited about 25 30 mins in the drive tru just to place an order smdh.. And thats b4 we decided to pull off and leave never got to even place order and we had 3 other cars in front of mines waiting to order .. Very bad drive tru service idk about in store service .
It was horrible in there. The place was dirty, no organized lines, takes forever to get your food and they ask you your name to call your food out to you....why not have a number system like the other fast food places? Does everyone in the place have to know your name? The bathroom was a mess, the cup dispenser and tops were filthy.. I left there and felt like mice and rats have a picnic in there at nite...
I havent been to White Castle since I was a kid growing up in Brooklyn.I was going to hurry and I decided to just stop by and what are fish sandwiches and fries. Place my order at the drive-thru and went along my way.I was halfway home when I discovered that they actually gave me Chicken Ring sandwiches. Needless to say I was not happy and I did not eat them. However I was not going back to return it. Totally waste
Empire Blvd is way to noisy to order via the window. It took a lot of patience to keep repeating the order and pull up to the window. It was very slow!!! I waited for the food and its not fast food. The fires were horrid, uncooked and not crispy.The onion rings were soggy and I didnt eat those either. The burgers were hot and fine.Did the drive thru so I dont know how the restaurant looked.
You can never just go to White Castle and expect a quick exit with your order. But they are trying to get better. They do offer delivery with door dash. I never leave brooklyn without my White Castle fix!!... I moved to Florida in 2003, and they have the Crystal burger joint which is like White Castle.. 20x removed. No thanks. Im good! Lol
This is the worst that I have had dealing with white castle. The employees at the drive-thru were very nasty to me tonight. I will never go back to that place again. They dont know how to treat customers. There is a woman that works there that I would never let her even serve my dog, she needs to improve her customer service skills.
This place is ridiculous. With service this bad, its amazing its still open and running. The place is dirty. The workers have no regard for customers and their time. You make online orders and schedule a time for pick up, and they complete the order half an hour later. Bad management, worst service.

2022-06-02I have to give 2 stars only because I came all the way from PA to get a crave case. Granted I ordered 2 totalling 40 sliders, so I know the pressure to fill the order fast was high. The sliders didnt have that steamed goodness I remember and it was tad dry. The service was top notch though.

2022-02-14I dont eat too much fast food. I got a stomach ache about 30 minutes later. I didnt like the sloppy fries at all...wished I got regular fries, they still had clam strips on the menu but they have been discontinued, & the fish sandwich just tasted like oil. Everything was hot though, & the sandwich was crispy... If you like white castle, Im sure you would be happy with the food.

2022-06-20White castle the place where I have cheese burgers for breakfast. The breakfast of champions. Ok, maybe not. Regardless I heard that they had a beef brisket sandwich and I had to try it out. Its actually pretty good (see picture below) Customer service is good and they have a drive through window. Even though they say that they are open 24 hours on the sign they are not. I got there at 7:30 am and they were closed. Dont bother calling them to see if they are open no one answers the phone. You can now dine in again.

2022-04-08This location is ABSOLUTE TRASH!!! 15min waiting for someone to take an order is beyond ridiculous! NO ONE at the register. 7 workers LITERALLY laughing, joking spinning around in circles, bumping into one another and not one bit of WORK was being done. In those 15min not one of the 8 people waiting for their order was served. To make matters worse, the manager was there!! A delivery driver asked the cashier for his order 3 times!! The last time she literally laughed in his face and walked off. I have never been one to take food out if anyones mouth, but this place needs to CLOSE!! 2022-06-15The place was clean and tranquil (definite improvement. The staff was friendly and professional but was unfamiliar with the menu. They didnt know how to prepare or ring the latest promotions (1921 slider). They were asking for your cheese preference as opposed to giving you the smoke cheddar which comes automatically (thus the upcharge). Definitely changes the flavor/taste. I was not satisfied at all. I read the ingredients (dont look at the picture)on the poster, then I realized I was eating an overpriced cheese burger (nothing special about the flavor at all). Thus my rating.

2022-04-06Why havent this place been shut down yet? Food is fine but the place is severely understaffed. Why call it fast food when 3 burgers take about 15 minutes to make apparently. I hate that i like white castle but this is the only option. Needless to say, Ive cut back on eating from here.

2022-07-09White Castle need to make better burgers they taste like its not done. The fries are ok..Rhe onion rings are ok. The chicken sandwiches need a make over. If the food is going to be mediocre change the price and give better deals.

2022-07-04Went through the drive thru and they didnt take my order, I said one moment so I could get a look at the menu and when I was ready I was ignored for 15mins, cars behind me was blowing and there was no cars in front of me. I decided to move to the window to order and I was told I cant order at the window. I asked why was I ignored and was told she didnt see me. I would say go somewhere else.

2022-04-19If you eat the (double) cheese burgers. I highly recommend you get them steamed. It make the burger taste better and the bread softer.

2022-06-17Its been years since Ive been home and had White Castle it was freshly cooked to order and I enjoyed it they dont have White Castle here in North Carolina
