The 1 star review is for the fact that whomever is working in the restaurant today 12/27/21 has decided it is good customer service to let the phone ring endlessly or they pick up and immediately hang up the phone on the customers. I just needed a slight adjustment on a $75 delivery order but Ill gladly take my business elsewhere in the future

Made online order was told 11 minutes wait. arrived on time and waited at the drive thru window being ignored by staff for 20 minutes while people were being served at the pay window behind me when they finally opened the window was handed some orange drinks that I didnt order. Decided to go inside to return drinks and sort out the status of my order and waited another 10 minutes. Food was fine but the experience sort of stunted my appetite. They reluctantly accepted my gratuity with a confused face. I understand theres a lot of moving pieces to get an order out. I just wanted more communication about what was happening sometimes that goes a long way.

I havent eaten from them but Ive done food deliveries and theyre extremely slow. Ive seen other people waiting a long time for their food. They barely have employees working. The moral is more dimmer than the light in the store. Employees dont seem to care, like either bump their pay for motivation or get hire more people for the late night shifts. Its ridiculous

Drive Thru came up short.So as it goes. Everything went well until money exchanged hands. I was shortchanged .47 cents and immediately told the cashier my change isnt right. She closed the window and walked away, so I did not move.Next the shift manager asked me what was the matter. I said the cashier short changed me for .47 She rolls her eyes and gives me .50 cents as if I was being petty. Gr8 CS....NOT

The food here tastes horrible. It tastes nothing like Ive ever experienced with white castle. I dont know what kind of meat theyre using but it tastes disgusting.

Raised around the corner from this place I can remember when they started building it. Went through the drive thru the telecom apparently wasn’t working or employees were to lazy to use it. Drove to the window to pay for the order that was never taken no one was there drove to the window where u would receive the food and there the employee took our order. The food was good as always but the employee took the order incorrectly didn’t notice until we arrived to our place of stay across town.
The food is always fresh and burgers are tender and moist. The only down side is the small wait for them to cook since they are made fresh.

Burger Pattie’s were pretty mushy. Impossible slider was alright but also mushy. Diet Root Beer didn’t have flavor.

Walk in after a long day and all I wanted was white castles. The cashier told me the card readers are down which disappointed me and everyone else who will be paying by card. The card reader for the drive thru window wasnt down however staff would not process an order through that device because we arent in cars. I understand normal thats not protocol however its also not the customers fault your credits card in the front are down. Employees should go above and beyond to assist customers when the store has a tech issue and they did not help us. They rather turn people away. My positive image of white castle is stained. Everyone who currently works there at 1545 Myrtle Ave needs to be out of a job. Highly disappointed in White Castle. You can do better.
Employers are good. But their food or maybe their employees need updates training on making the good. Bugers are ok. Fries are tough. Chicken rings, nibbles, clam pieces and all items like this are always dry and over cooked.
Loved the impossible sliders without cheese! So good. Hope that you will have vegan cheese at some point.
This place and every other location take a long time to prepare your food. Far from fast food. Most of the time all the chains of this place are empty. People dont really et this anymore. But you know you might miss the crave 😏 and when you finally get your order they always forget something. 😒

TERRIBLE service. I waited almost an hour for a Doordash order. Im a Dasher, and Ive seen many food locations, this was amongst the worst. I cant critique their food, because I didnt order any. But if waiting an hour for someone elses food is any indication of quality, Ill pass. The staff is rude as well. You politely ask for the pickup routine or what youre order ETA is - after already waiting 25 min - and youre either ignored or met with child stares. The restaurant service industry cant complain about shytty wages when they behave similarly 🤡
I’m so sick of this place . They need new management and staff period & better training .. as a former employee I’m Appalled at the services. I’ve been ordering from here for eight months about twice a week & it never fails they Always give me the wrong orders or missing order notes or an incomplete order..Whether you walk in or you order over Uber..And have the audacity to be rude to you when they mess up
Its a great place for small burgers called sliders. They also have the small fish sandwich. My favorite us the fried clams. Its a great place for a quick bite to eat. Careful when buying individually. If you with family get the specials. They pretty much have specials. This way you can save some money.

I love a couple of W.C cheeseburgers, every now & then. They have that unique taste & I find them to be deliciously satisfying. Love their milkshakes. The fishburgers are wonderful. Their fries are good. I think theres plenty of variety on the menu & you can find something you like.
Always beautiful women workers... they recognize the brooklyn don upon entering the door with big smiles and eyes batting.. all I do is order a small fries and they always serve me 5 white castles and 5 cheese and a large onion rings.. they know I dont drink that wack juice so they give me change for gas or the uber.. thanks ladies.. see yall again soon 😘
The worst milkshake ever wont ever buy a milkshake from White Castle they just pour it from the machine and thats it they might as well hand you a spoon why give a straw
Food quality is consistent and the employees are nice, although sometimes slow. I like their Impossible sliders and the dessert options (as is the case for any White Castle). There is a drive thru here and a quaint area for eating (which was nice when seated dining was still allowed).
Best place to get the impossible burger (cost-wise). Honestly all the food here is delicious, best fast food place for vegetarians and as an extremely indecisive person I love how much you can customize your meals. This location can be kind of cursed because of the drunk and rude Fordham kids who come here but the staff are patient.

I never liked white castle since 20 years ago. But for some people it may be good fast and easy excess to tasty little burgers and other food they have on menu. So give it a shot and make my rate of this place 5 stars instead 2.
Good food but bring a friend to make use of their sharing menu which is well worth it. The people at the counter are friendly but at least were when I went. However, as an individual person going for a meal, I dont think its worth it. The service is good and they are always willing to help the customer even after sale. Hoping to return soon to try the sharing platter.

Staff extremely kind and respectful. Already a good start. Peaceful atmosphere, seating always available at various times and burgers are delicious. I know you all know it, but still wanted to share and tell you all that I rediscovered White Castle lately.
Ordered a box of 30 cheese sliders and they were made fresh yet all the patties were cold. The team worked fast to fix the problem. We were in town for a few days. There are no locations down here in Miami so this was something we had to looked forward to. Also, the chocolate shake was the best Ive ever had.
The women who work here are awesome. Always super nice and funny. Food here is always good. Makes you feel fat and bloated but totally worth it when your too lazy to cook. Best onion rings!
I came here two days ago, I ordered a crave case and 2 fish sandwiches. It all tasted really bad. The crave case was done within 3 minutes so I had a feeling it wasn’t fresh. It didn’t taste right at all, still a bit cold inside and the fish didn’t taste as good as usual. I am highly disappointed.
Drive-through TV screen does not work, Waited almost 20 minutes for 2 sliders, a fries and a drink But I cant put that blame on the customer ahead of me ordered a crave case. What I can blame them for is their lack of customer service. These folks work hard af. I cant think of a recent time where my order may have been messed up. Don’t care for half the menu but I enjoy my sliders. Normally purchase a crave case, chicken rings, onion rings, and French fries. Used to get mozzarella sticks too but those don’t taste like they used to and capture all the grease.
Great and polite staff. Good social distancing rule. Good food and it brings me back to my childhood where I had late night white castle and you dont overeat.
Ordered from them today via Uber Eats... I was missing 2 of my items.. the 4 impossible sliders didnt come with cheese... And one is them looked like a bite was taken out of it!! Only thing that was decent was the fries and cheese cup and the fish slider.. but even that was a bit hard.. terrible experience and will NEVER order from these people ever again! WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!
The drive thru is the way to go here, you get your food much much faster. If you go in expect to wait a few minutes. They also have one of those fancy Coke Freestyle machines with hundreds of soda options, my drinks are always flat so I no longer get drinks from here its just a disappointment.

Quick service. They wished us a happy Thanksgiving, and were in good spirits- playing lively music. My sister, who is a vegan, was psyched to get the impossible sliders (which were cute little square burgers, and were also adorably packaged). She also had a side of fries and a diet soda (they have a machine with all kinds of flavors). I got her a White Castle mug as a keepsake- very inexpensive, at $6 and change.
You wait too long in the drive thru, but overall its not bad, great sliders. My stomach cant hold em like I used to, but Ill still enjoy them once a month! :-) ♡

In a moment of weakness, we ordered a a 30 pack Crave Case. It was 3am in the morning, so somewhat understandable that it took over an hour for it to arrive. We asked for smoked cheddar instead of the regular cheese and we got it --- but there were no other toppings. No ketchup, no onions and no pickles. It arrived and it hit the spot. Just dont forget to mention you still want the other toppings as well.
About the dining experience you would expect from White Castle. But I appreciate the way theyre expanding their menu, but the prices have remained reasonable all these years. The impossible burgers are AWESOME!!!! My kids love them too.
I almost always go to White Castle late at night and usually place pickup orders online. For a while this location has claimed to not be available after about 10pm on Seamless and GrubHub but knowing that its open 24 hours I order pickup on Postmates. Ive never had issues with my orders and even when its busy Im usually out within 5-10 minutes. One time I forgot to request no cheese and luckily they didnt put any on it so it worked out for me. Obviously the food isnt spectacular but its consistent WC quality so no complaints.

This white Castle on myrtle ave and gates ave brooklyn NY is probably one of the best in new york the place is very clean and well manage, the food is good and tasty, and as any white castle the prices are reasonable, Sometimes I buy a bunch of burgers and freeze them for late snacks, I recommend this franchise

Went because of the Movie (obviously), burgers werent the best quality but I enjoyed it none the less. Was able to spam multiple types of drink into my 1 cup so I was a happy lad due to their DIY drinks machine.
Used the online ordering. Got there at the time requested and still had to wait 25 additional minutes for the food. Why bother having online ordering if youre not going to start putting the order together until I get there???
This place is the worst. They had us waiting on the drive thru for over 20 minutes after they told us to hold on for a few minutes. Then we had to wait another 10 minutes because there was nobody at the pay window. Then to top it off they got the whole order wrong. I would not recommend this place EVER!
Its fast food nothing special but the number 1 on the menu is pretty good incase you had a long day and just want a quick dinner. 4 small sandwiches with fries and a soda shouls be all you need to be filled up and helps with budgeting if your tight on money.

Mixed feelings about this place, and this franchise in general! The menu is different from most of the fastfood restraunts, the decor is also unique, but the food just taste like junk! The sliders are so tastless i feel like everytime i try to eat there i regret eating there, because after that my stomach feels so bad!
These people need to be properly trained and educated! Placed my order in the drive thru, the order was repeated back to me and I was given a total and told to drive around. Waited over 10 minutes while they dealt with the car in front of me (which is a bit frustrating but Im okay with that if Im getting fresh food, which isnt always the case here anyway) just to finally get to the window and be told they never took my order. The jackass manager then tried to make it seem like it was my fault, telling the young lady at the register that I was probably the one that kept saying they needed a minute. I told him I was given a total so obviously I gave the lady my order. He was rude and argumentative. The people here always mess up orders and give attitude to the customers.

I love this White Castle. It has a hard working black manager. Who takes care in the food. But it is one lady there who look like she suck her thumb. She has no respect for anybody. She has an attitude like she hates having a job...She wasnt there this time so my food was good.

Excellent White Castle on an incredibly busy street. Has off street parking and a drive thru! Dine in or take out. The ladies behind the counter are awesome! Clean and efficient, has an expanded menu offering. If you are a fan of sliders, this is the place to go!
I went at lunchtime and there was only 2 people working. I ordered only 5 sliders and waited for 15 minutes. One of the workers was rude for no reason, as I didnt rush them. Terrible people skills

All I requested was fish nibblers small chicken rings small clam strips small into double white castles with extra onions steamed. the fish nibblers and the clam strips what dark brown like if the grease was very old and they didnt change it in the two double White Castle steamed was not Steam for me have to wait 15 minutes for my order
The worse. The young ladies were pleasant and patient. They need help or retrained... The quality of the food.... Dry burgers, no pickles and onions. Where is the ketchup, man... Come on. The sense of urgency... It was present in the building Saturday night...Do something, look like you doing something. They look lost, like what should we do next. Come on ladies get a system work together, make it happen. Maybe they were tired in thier defense... and so much was happening, mobile orders, drive thur and angry folk. They handled the chaos with grace. For that ladies you rock... Just get it together. I will come again. Your customer services was impeccable...
Best food to get before heading to the airport!
I guess that taste really change with age. I used to LOVE their food, but lately i think they lowered the quality, or i just got old.Anyway, my niece love it. And for the good days, i will give them 4 stars.
I liked this place from my first visit, I went to the drive thru.. I have to say, I had not had white Castle for about a year!!! the food was Freash, fries Tasty & hot just out of the cooker.. but, it all comes with a price... waiting...the food took long.. but, Im not disappointed 🙂

I came here late at night. The service took forever and the soda machine was almost completely out of flavors. The next day I farted more than I had ever farted before in my entire life. 5/5 stars.

I was looking for food around 1am. my second night in NY. came up from subway.There was empty and quite.I ordered 3 pcs and coleslaw.!!! hell yeah!!crispy and soft. + ketchup and spicy sauce.but chicken tender was bad.
Usually moderately busy, but they always get the order correct, unless you ask for sauce they wont give it you so bear that mind.

It was clean. The staff was nice. But the burgers were cold, the cheese was not melted and the burgers were poorly assembled. The bread tasted stale. It tasted like the burgers were microwaved and not made fresh.
First time to White castle. First i asked what the difference between the veggie burger and the impossible and i was told “they the same, theyre both vegan;” mind you it was offered with cheese. I asked for condiments and was told i was given them. Once i got home, i realized that i had 1 ketchup for 7 burgers and 2 fries.2 of my 4 impossible burger came with bacon bits stuck to the bottom of the bun.Either staff don’t care about customer service (especially in this area) OR they aren’t paid enough to care.

The girl working the drive thru obviously couldnt care any less about her job. i ordered 2 meals inside. they called out one of my meals, but i didnt think it was for me because they usually wait until all your food is ready. when i realized it was mine, the drive thru girl was so blatantly annoyed that i didnt come grab it immediately. when i asked about the rest of the food, she made a noise and walked away. so i waited. and waited. and waited for my other meal. now the food i have is cold. the girl comes back to the register and starts aggressively interrogating me about why Im still there? like, sis, Im waiting for my damn food why else would i be here?? thats when we found out that the cashier had only rang me up for half of my food, even after i had to repeat my order 3 times. drive thru girl literally laughed & said youve been waiting for nothing. girl is disgusting, the whole staff is disgusting. no cheese fries are worth this headache

In desperate need of a facelift, the dining room is gross and worn down and tables covered in trash.Out of dairy free cheese for the impossible sliders but still cost the same. Extra cheese would certainly cost more so how is no cheese not less?But the impossible sliders are awesome. Never get rid of them.

Went to white castle on April 9th was served by member #8189. The service was horrible. After placing my order at the drive thru when i approached the window she had no clear as ro what i wanted but gave me a price. Then had me repeat myself several times and still didnt get the order right. Not recommending anyine come here during the after. Lesson learned.

Wish I could rate this zero stars, rude employees and they take forever for delivery orders. Myself and a few other delivery people have had to wait for almost an hour or more for small orders, and therefore sacrificing possible tips and work time. It is the person taking orders to adjust the possible pick up time, if its going to take an hour, say its going to take an hour on the delivery app of choice. Massive waste of time for everyone.

Went in on the late night and the place was filthy!!!! Trash was blowing around the parking lot and there was a lot!!! Went to the register and stood there for a few minutes because the workers looked up at us and then looked down continuing to do whatever they were doing. Finally the guy in back of us got impatient and said anybody gonna take our order anytime soon and the girl barks back I said one moment which none of us heard.

White Castle has a parking lot for customers and its a shame the place is empty inside but the parking lot is full of ppl just using the parking lot as their own private parking to bad I cant post a photo
Has changed since I first time I went in 1976. Im from California look forward to having WC when I come to the city this time food was just different. Not very satisfied
It was drive thru and the food was served quickly like about 5 minutes (note there was no traffic line to wait).
Pretty good location (near two subway lines and several Brooklyn & Queens bus routes), good food if youre looking for a quick bite to eat, and fast service. Not too busy.
It was aight, at times you can def feel the tension from the gentrification of the nabe and the locals not appreciating New comers. People need to realize moving to NYC, there are communities going back to the 70s that ppl are being displaced. Is not like the influx of ppl are making the nabes any better at all. Its simply making the nabes more expensive and dirty with a higher police presence, where as if we needed help 10 yrs ago, it wasnt found
Waited for 40min for just 2 smoothies... was midnight and had to go the register and tell them been waiting for 40 min showed my recipe the woman made a face and went and made my smoothies ... something that takes a min I waited 40min for.... fire them all nasty attitude multiple arguments with customers while I waiting its crazy.
White Castle: very consistent sliders. Been eating them for over 40 years. The best sliders are White Mana in Jersey City, but White Castle is always on my go-to list. Bonus points for being open 24/7.
Not my favorite location but the food is always hot and fresh when youre looking for a cheap fastfood bite to eat

They messed up my order,when I went back in to have them correct it I waited for over 20 mins to get my correct order.

Not really rating the food... its a White Castle, you know what youre getting into. But the service was great and the place was relatively clean.
Food is good but the lines Ive been going the 4 60 years the place is dirty the workers are over work and it shows.

I am familar with suburban White Castles and this dingey, slightly dirty place didnt cut it for me. While the food is classic, the long lines, dirty floors and apathetic cashiers arent what one should expect.
Food is sub-par. They do not have a bathroom for clients. Covid-19 is no excuse not to provide customers with a bathroom. They do not even have sanitizer available.
Prepare to wait at least 40 min for your food after you order it
It was not as good as expected there was too much ketchup and the cashier wasnt exactly friendly. I would go back if I needed something quick and easy not tasty
What else is there to say. Its white castles. Awesome food to take on a road trip. I Always go here. Whenever I travel to NY to grab food on the way back home to Va.
The place isnt as big as it seem however the good their is good and their are many bundles.their is an app so you can order online and pick it up at the restaurant.It also has a drive thru for convenience.
They would not give extra ketchup wanted it for fries.

After painstakingly placing my order online after being forced to install SilverLight I dealt with the worst cashier of my life. Upon arriving I noticed my order was finished just as I walked towards the register. The cashier was unaware of how to process my online order and had to call two other employees, including the manager to finally get it on their POS. It took a total of ten minutes to finally get a total and when I came up it was $1 more than what I was given online. I was so fed up with the service that I paid the extra amount just to get home.
Food always hot n fresh very nice crew in the morning cause i go there 4 their sausage egg n cheese thats the only time im in the area n its always clean

This is one of the last White Castles in the hood. The food is consistently good and service is fairly good. The wait can be long at times but its the only white Castle so we wait.

Great location, a block from the Myrtle-Wyckoff Aves train station. Very clean, good service. Other patrons can be colorful at times, but a pretty laid back place.

Fast service...if you get the regular burgers here. Other sliders, you have to wait 10 min for. Seems understaffed.
The employees of that location were A plus. Extremely Nice. They both deserve a raise.

2022-07-15Theyre only getting 2 stars because when the ordered is correct the food is good There night crew has no clue what there doing. This place clearly needs better management theyre very disorganized as far as the orders. And who they have and what roles. I was really upset when they close the one on Graham avenue in Williamsburg. I used to take the train ride just so I can get better service and maybe my food correctly. I dont like ordering from them through apps anymore because every time they give me the order wrong and going there is a comedy show. The last time I ordered from door dash I had to physically go back there to get my food because they sent a completely different order. Sent me $10 order when mine was over $50. They gave me a hard time this time I went in person this time and the guy they had on the register was new or nervous..or done idk... He kept messing up my order. Order was around $46. I hand him 50 he apparently entered 30 couldnt figure out why the draw wasnt opening. Manager ??whos on the burger station comes over and berated him and walks away. He tells her I need change. She said well your going to have to wait. At this point hes apologizing Im laughing not even at him cause I felt bad for him but at how it just the shenanigans never fails. He gave me change in change. I was fine with it. He walked to the back. I then start correcting his mistakes and inquiring of things on the receipt. Manager comes over to give me the change Im like he did it all ready. She took back my change to give me bills but was more worried about that then making sure my order was correct. I ordered a strawberry lemonade smoothie they give me strawberry banana just label it wrong.Uber eats guy had been sitting in there waiting for his order plus his delivery order for longer than I was there. . Its been like this for years they gave up. If there was another White Castle I could get too easily Id never come here. I dont know why the app took off the other option for White Castle there was another store that they used to go pick up from much better and at least getting me the order close to what I ordered.

2022-07-18Got lunch this visit.Tried the new 1921 sliders as well as some traditional sliders with cheddar cheese.The 1921 sliders were good however I still prefer the originals.

2022-08-09Suffered a stomach ache after 3 hours of eating and ordering here from Uber Eats. Couldn’t figure out why until I reheated one of my burgers and the inside of it was uncooked and PINK. This is sickening and disgraceful! Will never eat here again.

2022-05-24Its a white castle. The food is greasy and the other customers are sketchy and might ask you for or offer you drugs, but thats okay because you are also probably high and its 3 am and what are your other options for hot french fries and a $3 bucket sized milkshake?

2022-02-28White Castle is on of the first things i have to eat, as soon as I get to New York. So glad i wasnt disappointed. Them Burgers n fish nibblers still taste the way they did 30 years ago when I left NY. Thank you White Castle for always remaining you. Customer service was also very delightful. The visit was a pleasure. See you again in a few months...

2021-03-28Best late-night snack run, this morning at 2am I felt hungry and I wanted something to eat and I figured what better place to get something satisfying to eat. I had the sack of chicken rings and onion rings as well well worth it.
