Asked for help, tried to help me for 5 seconds, says hed be right back and never came back. Thought I would get some actual service. Better off going to home depot

I just purchased a Lutron Casseta wireless light switch from Whitestone hardware. Frank took the time to explain to me how it worked and I did not feel rushed. Not only that but about a month ago I purchased nondimmable LED bulbs not expecting to purchase this and Frank took back those bulbs and exchanged them for dimmable bulbs no questions asked. Most important was that the price on this was what I expected to pay. Lets support our local merchants.

Friendly staff that knew what they were talking about! My husband sent me up to the hardware store to get some piece for some plumbing work...of course I forgot what it was called but didnt want to call my husband back...the staff at the counter figured out what I needed and it worked out perfectly!

2021-10-02Went there yesterday for some plumbing supplies and have to admit I was surprised by the level of service. Talk about above and beyond. Frankie had answers and suggestions that were helpful but his demeanor was what stood out, just very warm and personable. Made me wonder why I ever would go to Home Depot (aside for the fact that it is 10-15 minutes closer).My experience today with the guy who was in charge today (staff were great) was very different. Very cold and indifferent. The response to my simple sorry to bother you before asking a question was met with a hostile so why you bothering me? He wasnt joking either. The tone of the very brief conversation was pretty much the same. He didnt care not so much as not know. I dont expect everyone to know everything but not sure why I was being treated like a nuisance. Maybe he sized me up as not being worth his time, I admittedly wasnt spending a lot of money.So question to them would be does someone have to act (spend) like a valued customer before you treat them like one? Or do you treat them like one so they become one.Best of luck

2021-04-09Awesome customer service, i had keys cut there and for some reason the key didnt work, the duplicate keys looked exactly like the original, I called and explain it wasnt working on my lock and was told to bring it in. Took it in and they cut it a bit more using another machine, and it totally worked, not sure if this would have been available at a large corporate store but loved that Whitestone hardware was able to help without having to get new keys cut. The customer service is awesome and the pricing is amazing as well, will return to whitestone hardware for my hardware and paint needs. Thank you Whitestone hardware for your amazing services ~
