I tried to get in the Whole Foods anytime I get into the City or anywhere in America but in the same token this one was particularly helpful for me during Mothers Day while one young lady pretty much paid me no mind of the manager or the person on duty that was in charge of the floral arrangements helped me out very very well anyway with that Tech two thumbs up please subscribe and like my post a great day bye
I enjoyed visiting this Whole Foods more than any of the other ones I’ve been to. Their hot food is downstairs along with hot, & cold, fresh rotisserie chickens.
Oh em gee!!! After the merge with Amazon, prices got so much better!!! Honestly, the only thing that shooed me away from Whole Foods was prices. But not anymore! Amazon Prime members get extra 10% off all sales items. And there’s always a separate section called Prime deals in which you can get a really good deal such as 10 bars of organic soap for $10. It would’ve costed $25 if you don’t have Prime membership! Great selection of fresh meat, fish and seafood. And there’s cheese selection is to die for. There’s hot meals counters and salad bar is also very appetizing. I’ll definitely come back!!!
Williamsburg location(Bedford Ave) is a two level store with crazy foot traffic.. its always crowded in comparison to 3 Ave Bk.. their selection of brands is on point as well as their produce section, always well stocked and fresh.. the prices are, well WHOLE FOODS lol💲I love me some whole Foods.. Dont think I can get a variety of organic items all in one place like WF even if it means taking on a second job🤷🏽♀️
In an age characterized by nameless statistics and at times overwhelming technology, we tend to forget that institutions and companies perform given the indefatigable efforts of fine human beings. Computers and software are a means to an end, not representing the final product galvanizing customer loyalty. Upon visiting the Whole Foods store in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, I was reminded of this evasive fact by one amazing team member by the name of Kiara. She went out of her way in the most gracious manner to resolve a problem that neither she nor Whole Foods created when I lost a store gift card that had nearly $500.00 on it. Kiara and her team of supervisors who included Teari and Erica provided united support that was as seamless as it was intelligent. Kiara was never condescending or patronizing as she focused on finding a solution without sacrificing her own empathy and humanity. She fully understood if not internalized my predicament. This masterful display of interpersonal intelligence took place on a Saturday morning when many in our society do not seem to comprehend undertaking a sense of sacrifice while a work ethic is adhered to. Kiaras charisma, honesty and warm professionalism inspired me to fully trust her and realize that wealth is measured in human terms.
My first time here.....the Broccoli blew me away! So perfectly grilled and with the roast garlic potatoesAnd then there was the split pea soup 😍
A wide variety of fresh fruits and vegetables. A salad bar, a hot bar, prepacked meals, salmon, soup, mashed potatoes and macaroni and cheese are just a few cooked meals I observed. Aisles of bottled water, rows of tea and coffees, they have a juice bar, sushi bar, pizza and flowers. Quick and easy checkouts all at the Williamsburg location but Im sure that I havent seen it al and in time l will. My tastebuds and I will explore the many aisles of whole foods again, until next time.
I love this store! It has everything that I need and want. It has all kinds of healthy and delicious foods too! If I need to restock my pantry and fridge, I would go for the 10 minutes walk or drive my car and park underground where there is plenty of parking space. The entrance to the parking is located on Berry Street between North 3rd and North 4th. If not sure I would call the store to direct me to their parking location.👍
This Whole Foods Market Williamsburg features local food.On the ground floor, local breads are placed on the showcase. You can choose it and eat it at the table on the ground floor.You can buy coffee at the counter.The grocery store is on the first basement floor.There are so many local foods, beers, and so on.You will enjoy walking and seeing around the floor!And, I recommend you to buy the original Tote bag of this Whole Foods Market Williamsburg.This tote bag is made of Brooklyn Jeans!This is very cool, and very usable.But this tote bag maybe limited edition, so you had better confirming whether it is sold out.
This is a great store. Prices are pretty good now that Amazon owns it. Definitely get some of the organic sweet potato. It has a good price and its very good.
Great pizza. Love when pepperoni pizza is NOT greasy. It really was the best pizza I have had in a long time. Great out door heated area to enjoy your meal.
I came here to prep for the apocalypse but they were poorly equipped to deal with such circumstances.They were out of sourdough, frozen pizzas, and fresh pastas. Only gave it one star because I found some coconut water.
Great store for products but be weary of the hot foods buffet. Got mild food poisoning from the chicken tikka masala the other day. The store needs to clearly fix issues like this with served food safety.
The store modifies the music to affect customer shopping and behavior (we need some music discrimination here lol = especially if it does not promote pleasant upbeat mood), it possible the staff therefore have hard time being customer friendly or doing their jobs properly (I noticed this because the women at the register seems to think that customers/shoppers are there to help her figure out where to place the shopping baskets after purchase, if I were Jeff Bezos shopping at the store I wonder how she/staff would conduct herself/themselves)

This Whole Foods is thoughtfully curated given the space it occupies. With so much foot traffic, the tap room is a nice touch! Staff are very helpful to give customers a lay of the land - just ask.
I came here becuz I was looking for beer bone broth that I couldnt find at the other location. Here I found it. What I didnt find at either location was apricots. I walked around the store and its well organize. The workers walked me over to aisle I was looking for.
Always enjoyed shopping there except last Saturday...All the staffs are very kind and helpful except a cashier who does not know how to put things into the bag... she broke my flower...who does grab actual flower when you scan it!!! Very careless... I ask her to stop slamming and she was very upset...She even called manager that she does not want to take me...I should use buy less and use self check out to avoid her attitude or just not sho from there

Im visiting from Paris and I appreciate that everyone is very helpful and patient (its not always the case in NY...), one morning a cashier even took the time to teach me US coins 😂😂👍🏼

Whole foods market is always right. You can see beer brewed in Brooklyn and local food ingredients at once.
Love this Whole Foods, they always have staff available to assist, a large variety of items, and the lines move quick even during their busy times. They even have an almond/oat milk machine (see pic). I hate going to supermarkets because of the crowdedness and long lines but this market is so well set up I don’t even notice those nuisances here!
Although this location is quite busy, it remains my favorite in this part of Brooklyn. The staff does a great job of keeping the shelves stocked and organized. The deli counters and coffee areas are always showcasing some great items to take on the go.Now if only they would pay better attention to how messy the restrooms get, especially on the weekends.
It’s no surprise after Amazon bought it that the quality would go downhill. And sadly that’s exactly what has happened. Apparently they’re now charging $15 for a grocery delivery. I ordered a pickup order thinking it would be simple but it was anything but that. I’m fact my groceries never “came up” after waiting for 45 minutes even though I got an email that they were ready, checked in on the app and spoke to multiple people including customer service twice.Not sure there is solution except to find a different place to shop.
Whole Foods - it is what it is. Nice selection of middle and high end products, as well as a hot food section and a salad bar. Whole Foods is a bit on the pricey side, and not affordable to everyone. However, this particular location definitely deserves the five-star review because they have a restroom that both visitors and customers can use.
I had a very nice visit. The store wasnt crowded, and they just stocked fresh strawberries. 🙂
Awesome! A two floor supermarket - variety of products, good quality, nice and clean, friendly staff. It has a bakery, a coffee shop and even food to go. Feels like all in one place.
I go to this Whole Foods location every day. Never got everything that on my shopping list. If you don’t live or work in the area, go to a different location. Most of the times half of the shelves are empty and the line at the register is always too long.
Found what I was looking for very easily and didnt have to wait on a long line to check out
The layout can be confusing. As always, double check your produce as the berries I purchased went bad the next day. Some shelves are emptied out when I visit at different times of the day of the week.
Pretty decent whole foods. Most of it is downstairs and its big with good selection. Very extensive butcher and fish monger. Huge selection of beers. A lot of spaceI also like how the know have self checkout but even then it feels like checkout line takes a long time
Very well kept store with good quality produce. Employees were nice, it was my first time there and they helped me find what I needed. The food service places looked very interesting, will definitely try it next time we visit.

I really like Whole Foods I go to this location consistently because I live in the area and for the most part it’s great. Usually have what I need and most of the staff is really helpful. However the “managers” and employees who are supposed to HELP with the flow of the lines NEED customer service training. I’m am not a person who likes to leave reviews but the last couple of interactions/observations with the above employees have been awful. The nasty attitudes and consistent yelling are becoming reasons not to return. I’ve spoken to other folks who live in the area and go to this Whole Foods and it seems to be a common problem that should be addressed.
Love this store! Love Whole Foods!!They have parking in this bustling neighborhood. Super convenient.It’s awesome that they do discounts on certain items every week. Their bakery also has super reasonable and delicious cakes and pastries.Their beauty isle is so fun to explore too.Always exciting to shop at a WF!
I was having difficulties finding the fresh squeezed orange juice after coming there a few days prior on the hunt & they assured me that the next time theyll definitely have it. They made me a happy camper, I was there on a Tuesday night and I was able to purchase (3)64oz bottles and then I went back Thursday night and grabbed another just to make sure I was good. Great staff, very helpful & they mean what they say.
Employees by the self-checkout were beyond rude, barking orders at people and just being unpleasant. Basic customer service retraining is badly needed.
Somehow we end up here everytime we go to anything in the neighborhood for last minute groceries. The staff is always friendly and courteous. Its cheaper to it imported butters and cheeses here, but more expensive for milks and eggs from your local deli.
One of the only Whole Foods on this side of Manhattan that will refill coffee growlers -- only $6 for 32oz of cold brew! They are a little stingy though (as noted by my picture).
Whole Food is only a name no quality and cleaning
Beyond frustrated with this location. They never update the prime now inventory and everything is always out of stock on prime. For a month now I tried to place an order for their 365 brand tofu and its simply never available. Im thinking wow they must be busy. For weeks now I been having a hard time placing orders because everything that I used to order is not available/out of stock on prime now app....until I went to the store physically 1hr later. There were fridges fully stocked of 365 brand tofu, they had packs and packs of gluten free tortilla wraps (quinoa, chickpea, etc), they had a 365 brand nut milks despite them not being listed online. I couldnt believe it. I went on the app on my phone just to see if these items became available and nope...they were still out of stock. Now Im trying to place an order and yet again, everything is sold out. I dont live near whole foods and I used to place 2, 3 $100+ orders a week but now i barely do anymore, because they cant be bothered to maintain their delivery app. Really frustrating!

I just moved to Williamsburg And I stopped here today to get some grocery stuff .. and I just wanna say that it will be my second home :)So excited about Their collection of organic olive oil and cleaning Products, ice cream, Best bakery area ever and they have huge cheese department, they have Amazing coffee, pizza I haven’t tried but looks so good.. Besides everything else is fresh.. vegetables, meat, fabulous seafood Section and many Yummy things all around.
I love when NY cart gets stuck and I leave my purse on it. Ffiiirrre.Priced for bedford avenue folks. No surprise.As long as I got Skyrizi, I stay clear of this place on saturday evenings.

Whole foods offers a variety of organic and healthy products. The products are fresh, and high quality. The spaces are clean, and well organized. I love that they follow Covid-19 procedures. Every time I visited the store I feel safe.
I have visited many Whole Foods Markets in Virginia and this one ranks right up there with the best. They have a nice selection of beer, some of which is not available in Virginia. Sushi was really good and fresh. Pizza ranks as OK because New York is known for great pizza. Produce was fresh and the meat selection was good. Prices were decent for New York, just slightly higher than I am used to in Virginia.My experience is based on visits to the area and I am not a full time customer.
Price discrepancies - they charge more at the checkout than displayed on the price tag downstairs. Happened several times already. Talking about regular prices, not discounts.Ive talked to the stores assistant manager Ashar and he didnt give me any case complaint number or anything, he said they dont do that.Ive complained about the displayed and charged price discrepancies, personnel laziness since they didnt bother to check the displayed price on my request, and a specific person who gave me attitude instead of helping with my checkout process.Just followed up with assistant manager and he said that he cannot tell me if any action has been taken in regard to my complaints.
We saw the seating area with lot of people seating and consuming food. So we bought deli at Whole Foods downstairs, asked where to take forks, had no warning from anyone, went to seating area and was asked to leave it cause it “reserved to Whole Foods“ workers only. Maybe do not place such an obvious seating area and sell deli without any warning except some dude saying it’s closed for us at the very end?? We had to go back and returned our purchase

Very clean ,organized ,available hand sanitizer stands, folks- employees wearing masks and overall great experience . Line may seem long, however it goes by fast, will be coming again
Best time to go shopping these days is when the weather is not so good. There was no line! This whole foods is structured good for covid. One way shopping, its not that crowded. However today there were many virtual shoppers today. If they can make those also adhere to their rules it will be great!!
ON Saturday, Paid Butcher Dimitri $5 tip to LEAN trim the fat off a leg of lamb (4lbs worth) and grind the remaining lean lamb. Thats a $50 ORDER! Come home open the bag, ALL THE FAT WAS GROUND INTO THE LAMB. Looking at ~30% FAT BY WEIGHT.If i wanted ready prepared ground Lamb, i wouldve gotten 25% fatty lamb. I paid for a result WORSE THAN DEFAULT.
I think they have the best bakery area. There usually have a really good household cleaning product area. Supplements are usually really great here and they have a good seafood selection.
I always look forward to walking through this Whole Foods in our neighborhood. It’s well stocked and maintained despite how busy and high traffic the area is. Bravo to the team here for making this store as clean and well run as it is 👏👏

They keep cancelling my gd Prime deliveries!! Two in 2 days. How come?? And why am only only seeing 1-2 slots (10-11pm, 11-12am) slots available?? WF closes at 10! My ice cream would MELT.
LOVE LOVE LOVE this whole foods! Its HUGE with a whole lower floor and every wholesome food item you wish for. The cashiers are super nice as expected and their tea selection is amazing. Definitely work the visit and everyone should be a regular customer here. They also have alcohol if youre looking for some late night drinks with your friends.

Whole foods has best quality foods on my opinion there not to pricey and I always find what Im looking for staff are very friendly ready to help place is always clean and registers are always fast and ready to get you going
It carries Fresh Pet dog food when the chain grocery stores dont, but needs a bigger selection. Good deals on the best local sausage. Shrimp is also at better prices than most stores.

Not the biggest selection and often crowded. But for Williamsburg it does the job for fresh groceries. The new self checkout lines help a ton as you don’t feel rushed bagging your own groceries.

The layout of the store is a little inefficient I think. But other then that pretty much all positives. The buffet is good with a lot of choices. Good vitamin/natural section. And can find some decent beer there also.

Whole Foods as a franchise is well organized, well stocked, and awesomely diverse in the aisles. All produce is fresh. All staff members are readily accessible and willing to assist with customers questions and concerns. Prices are slightly more expensive than your average supermarket, but you get what you pay for! I love it.
They cant accept Amazon return orders because they said they dont have room for any more packages. Just disappointed to show up there with my package ( a broken jar of collagen powders from Amazon) and to be told they cant do anything.
I was happy to find a Whole Foods here in Brooklyn. The lay out was different in this specific location but practical based on the space provided. Nice area, clean environment, readily available selection of drinks. Employees are friendly and approachable. Accommodated my need to make a quick second purchase at the register. Good place to quickly grab and go OR sit down and relax after grocery shopping.
I go here often, for a multitude of needs. The selection is always great, fresh food, hard to find vegan options always a big plus.The customer service is unfortunately atrocious. From the Food Hall to the actual Customer Service desk, employees here would rather talk to each other than engage with customers. Employees are oblivious to customers walking by them, or standing in front of them.
I have visited this place earlier too and I am generally fond of their preparations. Last visit I had purchased gnocchi and vodka sauce which was nice. Current visit I bought Grilled Salmon which we reheated at home before consuming and it was still quite good. Their quality of food stuff is pretty good and compared to my first visit to their Union Square store about four years ago the prices are now fairly affordable. On a lot of stuff prime members get extra discount but sadly I didnt have the app.
The people in this store go out of their way to upset the people who live near them!! Early on Saturday and Sunday mornings they make as much noise as they can and a Doras naturals truck purposefully runs his engines loud so you can’t hear yourself think!! I will not be shopping here anytime soon!!
I like whole foods market the food is fresh and looks good and everyone is very professional.
My family and I expect the team members at whole foods on Bedford Ave to always provide courteous and professional service, and were disappointed since that was not our experience. Please retrain all cashiers, Bakery staff and line directors to be friendly and to lose the attitude. To greet customers and not treat us like we are begging instead of paying for this partially processed food.
Went here to pick up a catering order. Market looks clean. There are 2 levels, cashiers are 9on 1st level. Theres even a self check out lane for 5 items are less ( thank goodness)
My big complaint is the Amazon Prime shoppers. They leave their carts in the middle of aisles, push me out of the way (during a pandemic) to get the item they need, rushing down aisles, and always in the way of what I need without offering to move. Today one rammed into my ankle and didn’t even stop/notice/apologize. I already have a bruise forming. I get they have to do their jobs but it makes shopping here very unpleasant. I’ll be going to Foodtown instead. But kudos to the checkout counter people...they are very kind and patient.

The store is impossible to navigate ..it’s understood it can be busy but personal shoppers from Amazon prime are extremely rude and obnoxious ,they have no regard for reg customers leave their cards hovering over shelves.it has to stop.. 🤯also shelves with celery are constantly empty because there is no regulation .. there is a celery juicing craze and people buy full shopping carts of it .. there should be a limit per person !! customer service anyone? when I brought up the issue the cashier laughed at me .. but imagine if suddenly somebody came in and bought all of the eggs.. would you be OK with that?
The customer service here is the worst I’ve ever experienced.Everything always gets smushed in the bags and it makes the entire experience so negative. I’m sure employees are underpaid so this is a management issue but it’s really horrible every time. It makes me HATE shopping instead of loving it even though whole foods has the best food.
While the prices are high and the Whole Paycheck nickname is well deserved, Amazon has helped us out a bit and knocked down the prices of some of the staples. The kids corner thing is great, every time I go there with my child they let us choose one item for free which is nice. It keeps the baby munching and occupied. The return policy is excellent and the quality of the products at Whole Foods A+ and in my mind absolutely sets the benchmark. I buy a lot at Costco and their organic frozen blueberries while cheaper, are frozen in clumps, while Whole Foods are nicely frozen individually. Even after either one is thawed you can taste a difference. Their fresh fish while super expensive is fresher than anything else you will find, and you and see it and taste it. Basically Whole Foods is a place where you are getting what you pay for. If you havent seen how fast they move the checkout line on Sunday nights it is a sight to see. The line wraps all the way around the store into the basement, and even though there are hundreds of people in front of you, you get out of there quickly.
Found a freaking dead bug in the chicken sandwich container. Explain this to me Whole Foods. This is NOT ACCEPTABLE! I’m pissed.
Best coffee takeaway, employee eye candy although the attitude can vary from outright surly to guardian angel type loveliness; best skincare dept Ive experience in a whole foods although they need someone or some way of introducing the products as the area is mostly empty and testers unused. It can be intimidating. Also everything is under bright light therefore heated which degrades the carrier and essential oils these products are touted for in the first place. Some of them use only natural preservatives or even none so its important to keep them cold or in a dark place like every product writes on its container. I understand the products have to sell and people are not used to shopping in dark places. Maybe the stock can be put in the back and the front for display or the testers can somehow be shaded and cooled.Otherwise the selection is great the layout is somewhat confusing but the employees more than friendly and helpful. The Cafe area is great if a bit grim /right by the exit so perhaps not ideal for any activity that requires sustained concentration. I went in the winter so Im sure its improved by now.So to summarize the coffee/smoothie takeaway area upstairs is quite chic and nice. Could use more counter space to allow for more people to relax for a minute and that might benefit business too.Beauty area is full of local and well-thought out products of a homemade aesthetic but with quality ingredients and sophisticated branding/packaging that doesnt seem wasteful.Hipster eye candy and aging hipster eye candy galore. If thats your thing. If anything the high premium placed on style in this zip code makes for an a esthetically titillating environment.
Called this location o confirm pickup. Ran from Ridgewood Queens to return a small package and the store was closed at 6:40PM in a snowy Monday. Could have told me that it’s closing early, or posted the hours change online.
I love having access to a Whole Foods in Williamsburg. They always have great food selections and since the Amazon collaboration everything is cheaper.Great food selections, fresh baked and cooked items, flowers and they even have restroom.

I come here for the sausages they make in house, my favorite being the chorizo. Great selection and variety as well great flavor. The staff behind the butcher counter is always attentive and helpful. They also have amazing bakery selection and surprisingly the best challah i have had so far.
Updated: okay so things have changed lots since Amazon take over. Less choices than before. Employees are definitely less enthusiastic. Amazon shoppers are also roaming the floors. Its really not that great anymore. Add the covid lines and its seldom worth a trip anymore.Original: Better than the Union square location. Clean and organized with big selection. Big butcher section. Lots of butter and cheese products. Great for keto folks. Lots of grassfed butter. Excellent cheese sections, you can always get a free nibble. Employees seem a bit more enthusiastic than the Union Square as well.
One of the better Whole Foods in nyc. They’re mostly stocked. The lines were long as expected with any Whole Foods, but wait isn’t so bad. Liked their cafe upstairs although there could be more seating.
The Prime shoppers make coming here an absolute nightmare. I understand they’re doing their job, but perhaps Whole Foods could desígnate specific times when they’re allowed to shop.They clog aisles, are constantly looking down at their phones which causes them to run into people, they block the areas where they’re waiting to pick up bags and are generally rude.
Check your recipes each time you done for shopping because cashier always double charge the item or they ring different code item. 7 out 10 times I got extra charge, they will ask you to go back to store and give you refund but made like it’s your problem. The hot food was terrible and service there was rude.
It has a good selection of stuff, probably the best in the area. Some things like meat are more expensive, but other than that its really not much more than other NYC supermarkets, and the bulk section is nice. However, it is overrun with kale crazed hipsters and clueless tourists most of the time. It makes for an unpleasant shopping experience. You gotta go pretty much as soon as it opens to beat the rush and make shopping here bearable.
My go to place to pick up coffee, cheese and Halo top ice cream. Love that they carry the low carb chocolates that I love. Love to try all the samples. Also great prices on produce sometimes, especially items on special.
Great products. Can be pricey but the sales are good, especially with Prime membership. Love the nut milk machines.
Disappointing. This location does not meet the national standards of Whole Foods. Employees act like they’re doing a favor when you ask them for help — they chat/gossip with their co-workers instead of helping customers waiting in line. Service seems worse in early hours when management may not be on site— and they may not be on site a lot since every bad online review here is met with “please visit our website to complain...” I wish Trader Joe’s had gotten this location — their employees always seem happy to help you and proud to work there. The only reason I still go here is coffee emergencies — when I run out of their (excellent) decaf coffee beans and don’t have time to pick them up from another another Whole Foods.
Minimal kosher selection of fresh meat of any sort as far as I can tell. No kosher hotdogs, beef, or chicken. Only kosher turkey once in a while. It’s disappointing.I have to go to Chestnut or high end stores like Pomegranate or far away to Aaron’s to get kosher meat and end up buying a lot more there.Small/ non existent selection of kosher cheese.Can’t wait for Trader Joe’s for some healthy competition!
One of the best whole foods Ive ever been to- a splurge compared to smaller groceries, but you really do get what you pay for. They have a lot of interesting bulk options you wont find elsewhere, like fresh made pastas and a mozarella bar! A lot of the prepared snacks can be pricey, but if you stick to fresh produce and dry goods it can be very reasonable. I also like how they highlight local produce and tell you exactly where things are grown.
This market has two levels. The first floor has food stands for dining and the registers for payment. Everything else is on the lower level. There are escalators to carry you down and up again. There are so many food and product options! The food is fresh and the market is well organized. The employees are also very helpful.
I love shopping at Whole foods. Especially now when Amazon bought it, the prices on certain products are much better. This particular store is very convenient. I am shopping here usually late in the evening, and most of the stuff that I like is already sold out at that time. Most of the cashiers not paying proper attention to the customers. For some reason they always chatting with each other instead of asking you whether you prefer your items bagged in one or two bags. And after all they give you one heavy bag without asking you if youre fine with it.
This is such a beautiful Whole foods. Its big and spread out and the employees are to nice. The flower section in front of the door makes it even more welcoming.
Cant go wrong with whole foods. Only drawback for me in this location is the super urban setting. The parking is not convenient and the store layout is a bit tight.
Great market but the prices not great at all. High quality? Yes. But, I found Items there that were literally triple in price.The place is enormous but not really worthy of the name Whole foods. I went there in search of whole wheat berries, they didnt carry it? If youre looking to setup your pantry for a macrobiotic diet, go elsewhere.
A little pricey but nice place
It was my first time going to a whole foods and I dont think Ill ever be going back again I went there to get a salad from their salad bar and some fruit I put down the already cut fruit and took fruit from the salad bar thinking it would be cheaper my bill was so much more than what I was expecting I could have gone and eaten a meal at a restaurant for that price which I was trying to avoid doing. I was very disappointed. I would never go back go another whole foods they are too overpriced.

This Whole Foods is better stocked than the one at Union Square. It also feels cleaner. How does one really review a Whole Foods store in NYC, though? I think its fair to say we have all the same expectations. Its walking distance to Foodtown which is another good grocery option if youre ever feeling like you cant find what you need at the right price at Whole Foods.
What can you say about wf? You either love it or hate it. Their organic produce is fresh and actually reasonably priced. Their 365 brand is reasonably priced, too. This store is spacious and clean. I love that I can do bottle returns there- no questions asked.
We stopped by on Saturday night, usually a pretty busy night, this night being no exception. We really needed several cuts of meat, and not being huge meat eaters, we definitely needed some help knowing what to get. And Sam in the butchery department went above and beyond to give it to us. Not only did he recommend pancetta vs thick cut bacon for flavor but he came out from behind the counter and found it for us. He even carted around a whole pig quarter and band sawed us a fresh ham hock when they were soldout on the floor and in the case. I usually wouldnt expect such personal and excellent service from a big chain like whole foods, but Sam proved me wrong. He definitely deserves a raise.
Great supermarket. Wide selection of cheese, bread, seafood and other produce. The taproom is great, wide range of local beers that you can sample before you buy with games and a trivia night. One of my favorite places to stop by for a beer on the way back home.
I went into this location to buy Probiotics. While downstairs in the health section I asked a girl for her help in looking for a Liquid Probiotics she asked if I knew a name I wasn’t sure of the name but needed liquid she said we have a few different kinds in the back but if you don’t know the name try these probiotics in shots she did not want to go to the back to show me what they have. I kept looking at what they had in front of me when a male worker by the name of Jason heard our conversation he offered to go to the back get me the different liquids of probiotics they have so I can choose the one I wanted. Jasón went above and beyond to help me Whole Foods need more employees like Jason. Thanks again Jason for loving your job and going above and beyond to help your customers.

I have to go at least three times a week because each time I go Whole section of product has been pulled or no product at all. And I can never get everything I need in one trip. It is getting very annoying. And now for past 3 weeks no working elevator in the garage or elevator in store does not work either. You ask an employee. They are line we have no idea. If a handicap person drives into garage they can not get into store unless walking up steps or walking up garage ramp. I wish a store from the southwest called Sprouts moves in and kills Whole Foods. They are a way better store than you guys.
Don’t buy fruit from here!! I’ve literally never been happy with the fruit I buy from here and I’ve lived next door for the past year and a half. After this review I’m swearing off the cut fruit. It’s ALWAYS rotten or just bland. If it’s not fresh or in season then don’t sell it 😤Everything else about this Whole Foods is great. The prepared food is usually pretty good.
Pros and cons This Whole Foods Market is one of the worst..They allow dogs to go inside the store. Ive seen dogs inside shopping carts.The trashy people that go to this store. The gentrification in this area is the worst. This store caters to these people, they eat the food from the bar and leave containers on any corner of store. There kids eat the banans and eat the yogurts, Ive seen them put there hands inside the candy bar (Dylans) with paying Ive seen them bring banana peels to register with no banana inside..I must say the food prices are ok. After Amazon bought WF prices went down. Fruits are fresh and also the vegetables. The sales they have are very good. That 10 percent on top of member savings are great. Thanks Amazon!!! Last but not least, check out SMH .. Although the lines move fast at times, those cashier people are the most worst customer service in this planet. They curse, eat, they always talking to fellow cashier, Ive stand in line for about five minutes in an early morning 4 registers open and none calling to cash out customers..they are on there phones..and have the most nastiest attitude I have ever encountered..I have left comments in the suggestion box and see notjnot has ever happened. I must say there are few that are very pleasant and have great customer service. There is one that has cashed me out a few times and I have to say she is very respectful and has the greatest sense of humor, there has never been a time that Ive seen her that she isnt in a happy mood. I believe her name is Rosa. Wholefoods need to have a better hiring system.
Go early in the mornings, if possible. Its well stocked and few other customers at that time. Otherwise, your basic Whole Foods - nice selection of food and other items. Also, the N4 Taproom downstairs has a great rotating tap and pretty good happy hour ($2 off weekdays Mon - Fri and ALL DAY on weekends!) Get your growlers filled here too.

One of my favorite Wholefoods because of the options in the facility, beauty of this location, and how eco friendly it is. In the parking lot, they have an electric car charging, a greenhouse on the roof where they produce some of the vegetables. They have a growler station, the prepared Foods area is very organized as well diverse, from super health to cheat day eats. Store is small but has slot of offer.
I love that at checkout they instructed people to get in lines.At this location when you come off the escalator, you can go right into any line Giving instructions is good.
Its whole foods, you should know what to expect. Theyve got some great stuff. Some of its pretty pricey. Some things are more affordable now that Bezos bought the company. Its crowded when you think it will be. The seafood area needs some value buys added that arent tilapia or farmed salmon b/c that stuff is garbage.
Theres not a line when you go at odd hours but I dont like the layout of the store with the underground hallway-like maze. Its fine for a whole foods in Brooklyn though

Out of date products are a standard. Today it was Salmon spread that is made by Whole Foods and is kept over ice - 2 days after expires and the rest did not even have a label. It seems they still are trying to sell it which is just miserable if there is the need to do so. Marshmallows made by Whole Foods all top shelf expired and a shelf under is good till next year - that is bizarre and desperate for such a huge company to do such obvious BS. These things are around the full store constantly - Enjoy.
Great variety and prices didnt fluctuate since the pandemic started, I live in queens but I do my grocery shopping here because first of all it I love a quick snack will Im buying and sushi is my best option for that, also the pizza is a killer, second during the pandemic I couldnt find any eggs in my neighborhood and if I found something it cost 7.99 dollars (and they werent even organic), I dont know if it was the people living around whole foods that they more conscious when buying products or simply was the store that was restocking everything quicker that other.
Most of the time they are out of various products. 3:20PM on a Monday and half of their bread selection is out. And to make it the worst store ever you need to experience their customer service, they act like they pay for your shopping. But I guess this is how you become the richest man in the world, overpriced products with a terrible service.
Unfortunately, after the Amazon takeover the store looks like a warehouse. Its cpmpletely lost its appeal. Canceling my Prime account and taking my business elsewhere
Mixed feelings about this place. The staff has never asked to help, so a bit lacking on customer service. The selection is better than your average Whole Foods. Buffet bar is pretty decent also.
Definitely cleaner than some of those in the city. Allegro coffee supposed to close at 11pm and they never do so. Im there around 10:35 and most of the time they wont serve you -_-
This Whole Foods is really good! My favorite one aside for the one on Greenwich street in Manhattan. It can get pretty crowded on the weekends *specifically Sunday* but you can still be in and out pretty quick.

Right now, its October 2017. You should get there now before it becomes too popular and overrun with hipsters looking for Kale and craft beers. Same service you would expect from any other Whole Foods. Kind of pricey, but offering things that are hard to find and delicious.
If you have to go here due to location its fine but its not my first choice of grocery store or Whole Foods in New York or BK. The meat Dept wont ever do cuts when I ask, and they seem to have a limited range of products from other whole foods locations. Its just a stressful place to be 9 times outta 10
Standard whole foods. Good size place to eat. Toilets are a bit strange: you have to go back into the supermarket, with all the stuff you already paid for, and go downstairs, into the heart of the supermarket. I never really feel comfortable doing that, so I tend to eat elsewhere...
A beautiful new addition to the grocery stores in the area its around. It consists of 2 levels (1st floor & basement) that are connected via escalators. Theres free samples as well as a bar near the meat section in the basement level. The employees are so nice it almost feels like youre talking with a good friend or family member. Security guards always stand near the entrance of the store, probably to discourage shoplifting.
If you go later in the evenings, youll definitely have a better shopping experience with less crowds. Super clean and the staff is helpful
This might be the best Whole Foods Ive ever been to. Along with the typical fresh produce, baked goods, hot food, meats and cheeses, they have their own taproom with special nights (trivia, buck a shuck oysters, etc) where you can spend some time trying out beers and fine food. Upstairs they serve coffee and grab and go foods. Its worth a shop!
I love Whole Foods but sweet jesus this location is such a mess. Checkout line is always long, and trying to get up and down the aisles feels like the hunger games.

The hot bar is disgusting it never looks good, bread is dry, fish not fresh, poor selection of veggies, rotten fruit, wilted flowers. Rather go to Foodtown or Brooklyn Harvest, at least not so crowded.Not on par with the other ones in the city. Going to stop going here and will return to the one in union square, even though I walk by this one every day. sad as I live only two blocks away.I was so happy when I heard that it was going to open, but now the only good thing is that the property value increased due to them moving into the neighborhood.Whole Foods corp. should be ashamed of this store!
Usually pretty good. I entered through the parking lot for the first time, just to be kicked out in the cold to enter the store from outside. Made no sense.
This location is nice! It gets really really busy after work on weeknights and weekends and the layout is kind of weird. They also run out of shopping carts during busy times which can make shopping extra difficult.
The layout is beautiful and the deli, seafood, butcher and prepared foods areas are peerless. The fresh produce section is a bit limited and they are often out of stock of fairly basic items like asparagus or snap peas (particularly in their conventional section).

Excellent, just like any other Whole Foods. The only reason I dont give it 5 stars is because you need a code to enter the bathroom. This code happens to be in purchase receipts; which to me it means that they expect you to bring your food or groceries with you to the bathroom.

Bad experience at the fish department. I went there this morning to pick some whole fish (red snapper) and the gentleman that was there was extremely rude when I asked to pick the fish that I want. He was too BUSY doing nothing in the back I was the only customer. It was only 3 fishes to clean and he told me come back in 20 0r 25 minutes. Really 25 minutes just to ckean 3 fish. Can only image the wait time when he really gets busy? They need better customer service.

It’s a poorly designed store that’s inexplicably always out of mushrooms. wait times at the register are often 15 minutes or more.updating this to one star from two because this store somehow continues to get filthier and less convenient. HOW is it always out of everything? and why are Driscoll’s blueberries 5.99 when they’re 2.99 at Key Foods? i hate hate hate this store and everybody who works here is completely miserable.
Let me jus say I love coffee, I can chose my own coffee beans, by Allegro and in the same area theirs a big coffee grinder, grinds down the coffee beans down to dust for me I tell ya 😍, Also their is fresh grains, granola, veggie chips, all kinds of nuts u can chose from. Ohhh the milk machine serves and prepare Oatmilk and Almond milk sweet or unsweetened 😍 I can go on and on...u must visit to experience.
Good location. Close to subway and bus. Also on location free parking makes it easy to get in and out. Good selection of organic fruits and vegetables.
At first I was very excited to shop at this location. It is spacious and the layout is easier to navigate than most. I went over to find the alternative meats section, and right there across the way and unavoidable, are dead whole pigs dangling. Maybe this doesnt disturb everybody but a surge of shock and queesiness flooded through me and I felt like I could be sick. The staff was understanding and said theyve had many other complaints for the same reason. Needless to say, even though the staff was helpful, I will no longer be able to stomach shopping at this location. This was a really poor and inconsiderate choice on Whole Foods part especially in Williamsburg where a lot of the community of vegetarian/ vegan.
I went to get some breakfast yesterday around 930am the trays were completely empty I went to the food counter to ask if they were bringing anything out, they told me breakfast is over at 11 am, I said said ok but it’s only 930 I asked if they could have made me something? they told me they didn’t have anything in the back to cook that they were prepping for lunch, my question is why they say till 11 am?then the food is gone, then I go upstairs to get a bagel when I asked for it with butter he said there was no more butter and I asked if they could get some he said no, then I asked for two bagel he gave me one sticker for both bagels, I advised him he said tells me to tel the cashier to ring it up twice on the label, all of them very rude.
Employees are always playing around/ having side conversation all the time while they suppose to be working and the managers are always on the phone. About a month ago I seen two males that work there super high and smelled like straight cannabis. They need to get it together.
Whole Foods, yeah. Good food for the most part, at very high prices for the most part. But can someone tell me why does a store this damn large have one bathroom that has only one stall and urinal?
My Cashier was Amazing. As for the market staff, rude rude rude. I asked a guy for help looking for some oil and he acted as if he did not hear me while walking rite pass to get in front of me.
They are getting worse. They have less of tge good stuff and more questionable foods. I only go for organic meat because my local spot doesnt have good meat. The good gluten free stuff is never restocked.
Conveniently located a few streets away from the Bedford stop, this WF is well-stocked & has a nice expansive skincare section. Theres great made-to-order food options on the street-level floor. I do wish this location had more diverse vegetarian protein options in its hot bar—thats really the only reason why its not my favorite WF. The employees here are always really nice & Ive never waited very long in any line.
The best supermarket out there If your looking for fresh fish in some great products and food this is the place and even if theres A-line around the corner it goes pretty fast
Shame on you Whole Foods! Why do I always have to check expiration dates when I purchase dairy from your store? In the past and I have notified your employees after finding expired yogurts and riciric cheese on the shelf. They have always responded promptly and removed them.Today my S.O. bought expired low-fat sour cream after completing our shopping for the week!

First 2 floor whole foods i have ever been to. great selection of hot / cold / buffet line foods and produce just like all of the other whole foods across the continent. interesting check out system where they have 3 lines and an automated next call out system with an army of cashiers... this spot is ALWAYS BUSY especially since its the only market of its kind in the williamsburg area.
Nice selection of organic food but ridiculously expensive. Its a pity that they dont know how to handle if you bring your own bags, which means that everyone is being send home with too many bags. Nonsense.
Great selection of healthy foods. The stereotypical Brooklyn hipsters and yuppies can be a bit annoying, and the checkout lines are long, but the food is top notch. They also have a very nice juice and smoothie bar, and excellent pre-made sushi.
There are quite a number of deals on health items in an otherwise pricey locale. Other than some days/eves when it is busiest and the few occasions where my phone confirmation about an item & an event did not match the actual, I generally find the customer service and lines to be easygoing.

Had to write something after an aggressive employee made an attempt to humiliate me over a very minor detail.After purchasing a few bottles of beer at nearby Beer Boutique, I headed to the new Whole Foods in Williamsburg to do some dinner shopping. I entered the store, placed the beers (in a brown bag) in the trolley, and began to shop downstairs. Instead of dragging the trolley across the supermarket, I left it off to the side in the produce area to go look at soups. I ended up looking around at a few items and came back to my cart a little longer than I had planned, which was 10 minutes. The trolley and the beer were gone. None of the produce workers had seen it, so I went up to customer service and explained the situation. The employee was kind and radioed other employees to see if anyone had spotted it. Eventually, a surly employee came up and eventually admitted to taking it. He then picked up a small Whole Foods brown bag, flapped it at me, and asked if the beers had been in it, insinuating that somehow I had snuck the beers into a Whole Foods bag and pretended Id bought them elsewhere. He then raised his voice and claimed that the basket had been left there over an hour, walking away without allowing me to respond to this falsity. He returned about 10-15 minutes later with my beers (no longer in their bag) put them in the same Whole Foods brown bag hed tried to ridicule me with before, and handed the bag into my chest.Needless to say, it ruined my evening and my plans to shop there. I wont be back. Another case of the wrong people being in a neighborhood that is no longer even the shell of its former self.
This Wholefoods is probably one of the best ive been to. The employees are really friendly and the juice bar was the highlight for me. The juices are amazing! They have a lot to choose from!
I’ve never had an issue in here before, but on 03/01/2019, I went in to get a quick cake and had a HORRIBLE experience. There were two people ahead of me, they picked their cake and a young man, short, chubby, hispanic handed it to the girl in back of him, she was short, hispanic, black hair, as the customers were getting something written on their cakes, like “Happy bday” and she was the one in charge of that task. She asked what color frosting they wanted and showed them when it was done, and it looked nice, written in cursive, nothing bad. Then it was MY turn. I had already noticed that when I stood in line, the girl and the guy both looked at me weird but I brushed it off. When it was my turn, I told the guy what cake I wanted and instead of handing it to the girl, they whispered amongst each other, she stepped out and started looking at the bread and he went ahead and wrote what I asked for. He didnt ask me what color frosting I wanted, and I saw he had difficulty writing on the cake, like it was his first time doing it. He was laughing throughout and I didnt want to be rude or cause a scene. He showed me the cake and it was HORRIBLE! He even spelled the name wrong and smushed it and then gave it to me, while grinning at girl. I’m not going to immediately say it was because of the color of my skin, but I feel that was the only reason. I was nice, ordered my cake and saw how they treated the two customers ahead of me, which were white. This is absolutly disgusting and I ask that something be done about this. Wheather it’s a traning, a suspension, something! I didnt want to cause any issues, as I was FURIOUS! And knew it would get out of hand, but it’s completely unnaceptable and if these are the kind of employees you have, in such a diverse community, then please consider the location of this store. Yesterday it was me, tomorrow it will be others. If this is hiw they treat paying customers, I can only imagine how they treat their black coworkers. Smh.
I resisted this place so hard - spiritually - but they have really done an incredible job of curating this location such that it serves *this* community. Its also the most spacious and stress-free of all the Whole Foods in the city. And Ive been to all of them.
Sadly the coffee shop is terrible. The workers rapped a despicable and impolite rap song while people waited to order. One worker over charged a man and further held up the line. The woman with short bangs and half shaved head then asked if I was okay with BLOOD on my money.... the milk and sugar was spilled and last it took - 45 - minutes to leave the line and get my change. I found it to be an offensive and vulgar experience.Edit - i called this store to get information on a product and was hung up on 4 times. Worse employees i have ever sern they all need to be fired.

This Whole Foods does not cater to the WHOLE community of Williamsburg. At this location I can never find anything, it’s either sold out or they don’t ‘carry’ that product at this location. I have to do all my WF shopping at the one by Greenwich. For example: frozen broccoli, butter (kerrygold, goat butter), milk, they don’t carry Seventh Generation maxi pads (only the thin ones), same about hair products, skin, etc.
Every time I go to this whole foods there is always something wrong. The escalators and elevators are In constant disrepair, out of stock of almost everything, and the place is always a complete dump. Literally worse then the seventh layer of hell! Hate this place!
Even with the pandemic ongoing these employees find ways to easily get people in and out with no issue. Super easy and pleasant visit in these crazy times.

2021-02-25Coffee came extra hot so take care not burn your tongue. Solid drip, slightly cheaper than Starbucks. They also sell juice and theres a nice Korean style food bar next to it as well.

2022-03-01Love the selection of fresh foods and hot soups. This was my first time here and I put four stars because the cashiers are not friendly and seem miserable. I asked one of them if they were open (because all the lights on the numbers were off in that aisle) so I could pay and she just stared at me and I had to ask again and she just nodded her head.

2021-08-08Its a whole foods dont expect different. Most times the order pickers from amazon and assorted places clog up the isles. Produce is very nice and priced because of it. You are able to get pretty good deals on fish or frozen items. We tend to only buy a few staples at normal price and then only the items on sale. One thing you need to watch what is on sale since the stockers dont seem to care where they place things. Look at the photo and bring your glasses.

2022-06-04This Whole Foods has a really good selection. A good amount of plants and florals too (if that’s your thing) there’s parking too. Only downside is, it does get pretty busy because of the neighborhood but they are always properly staffed so the lines move along pretty well.

2022-04-30I love their meat and seafood departments. Their staff is totally knowledgeable and friendly. I love their fresh pasta bar and the self checkout line. The aisles are spacious and the place is always clean.

2021-01-05Excellent meat, seafood, imported cheeses, deli and organic produce. They have one of the best selections of fresh flowers and seasonal plants in Williamsburg - and at a good value. Their beauty, vitamin and dry goods selections are also impressive, although lacking many ethnic and international staples. The coffee bar just re-opened at the Bedford Ave door.The quantity of employees picking here for the free, two hour Amazon delivery service sadly distracts from the in-store shopping experience. It already was insanely busy when it was just a grocery store - before Amazon turned it into a e-commerce warehouse as well. Otherwise 5 stars.To avoid the lines and crowds, go weekday mornings, if you can.
