I got food poisoning from salmon at this Whole Foods on March 11th of this year. I don’t cook so I always go to the pre-made to-go dinner area and get food from there. It easy, everything’s already cooked, just heat up & eat. Been loyal for years. I bought the salmon (not the teriyaki glazed, just the normal one) and enjoyed it for dinner. By the next day, I was violently ill. I couldn’t stop ‘purging’ for 8 hours. I couldn’t even take a sip on water. I thought I was going to stroke out as my body kept rejecting but there was nothing left in my stomach. I hired an IV doctor to come & give me an IV of zofran (anti nausea) & liquids. My back and body ached from the convulsing, my throat was burned from the acids, I couldn’t eat for days after. I had to get another IV later that weekend, heating pad, literally I couldn’t leave bed for two days after. Even after I was able to start functioning again, my body was a wreck, I needed massages, therapy, etc. Anyways, I contacted Whole Foods & let them know what happened & they had their insurance company contact me. The insurance company logged the complaint & said it’s too hard to prove that Whole Foods was the source for stomach poisoning in most cases. It was all I ate, so I have no doubt, but it was clear, the corporation throws their weight around to brush off complaints. I still haven’t eaten fish again, & I’m disappointed how the company handled the case. I’m now skeptical how long they keep the fish out raw for, and when it doesn’t get sold/ starts getting old, do they cook it & then leave it laying out for longer in the pre-cooked area? This experience left a bad taste in my mouth (pun intended).
If you come to visit the new World Trade Center, or the 911 Memorial Museum, don’t forget to come to this Whole Food market, either for a cup of coffee, a quick organic meal or for everyday groceries. You won’t be disappointed when you indulge yourself in this wonderful organic world! It is called the Healthiest Grocery Store the USA. My family love this grocery chain and visit it at least twice a month. Just come and see it for yourself! There is even a lounge room for you to relax a while when you got tired or bored.
This Whole Foods is very poorly laid out with the multiple entrances confusing shoppers and totally disrupting the normal flow of the Whole Foods experience. Besides that; it’s a great store with the expected high quality groceries, huge hot bar area and tons of drinks and snacks. They need to stock more Lemon Perfect! When I went they were out do the original flavor.
Spacious, clean with many many choices. We came here to pick up an Amazon package but found out the lockers were gone. You need to come before 9pm to pick up from the counter now.
Fine Whole Foods in the heart of Tribeca. I’ve heard it’s the busiest WF in the world, but that may have been pre-pandemic, as I have to say it’s no longer as packed at even peak times as it used to be.
Great store, wonderful location! Fresh produce greets you at the entrance and its the best thing ever. Never disappoints, love it! Also its the perfect place for a picnic shopping before going to Rockefeller park.
The food bar in the center is absolutely amazing, other than that it’s still a very nice Whole Foods.
Large selection, huge store, great customer service (though it felt a bit scattered because of the amount of people who were in the stores during my visit), well-stocked. I wish there was a way to feel safer about getting prepared foods during covid omicron (maybe prepackaged in glass jars or containers?). Lots of cosmetics and beauty products selections, and the price points arent bad, either, especially for the area and the quality of goods 😀. Unfortunately they had run out of big reusable bags quite early in the day (~3pm) which was a bummer since my friend was looking for them. Bring a cart or a big bag!
This whole foods location used to be amazing. But even before COVID, the location started feeling more like a warehouse for their delivery services. The salad bar always looks old and picked over. The freezer section is often broken, the products all have freezer burn.

Noticeable difference since Amazon took over. Staff isnt the same, quality of produce isnt the same. I bought a pint of 365-brand ice cream and started eating directly from the pint with a spoon. I got halfway down and found that the bottom 1/3 of the pint was a big empty air pocket!
Whole Foods used to be stocked with whole foods, the opposite of processed foods. The name represented healthy foods for the body, a place you could trust.Today, cookies at the end of every aisle, anything made with sugar at the checkout. They cater more to a path of diabetes and heart disease than what they used to represent.
Massive and complete with everything that you could possibly want in the world of food. Nice dining area upstairs, too, with window seats looking out on Manhattan. One city block wide, the store is supposed to be the 2nd largest in the USA
It was my first time shopping at the TRIBECA location. They had what I wanted. So that was good. The employees I encountered were nice also.

Many vegan option, salads bar and more. Im in love with the soy nuggets, crazy vegan pizza tasty as hell, as well as vegan brownies with peanut butter. Not cheap but very good food!

This Whole Foods is great. Very good location. The checkout lanes are color coded. You wait to be served when your number under your color is called. The cashier and other staff were helpful and pleasant overall. The ambiance of the store is mostly calm but theyre busy. The back of the store is located on West Street.
It used to be my favorite market. It is different lately. It is different since Amazon took it over. It lost its charm. It used to be a store for super fresh food. Not anymore. This prime discount is so funny. I never got discount more than a few cents. Even now I can not use a screenshot of the prime account....
Wholefoods is always nice to visit. This one had 2 microwave at the dining area, pretty cool.
The new Amazon whole foods market is really great. With the Amazon Prime Visa card, automatically 5% discount on everything here. Usually come here for lunch. Most Foods are freshly made daily here. Great selections. Usually go for the salad bar and my new favorite Strawberry Kale salad.
Huge place with bakary, fish and meat market inside. Also, they have food buffet. There is sitting in upper level. I usually go there for cakes and pastries.
Just like most Whole Foods, awesome! This one has a really big eating/seating area upstairs and the Burger bar.
Awesone grass fed, beef hamburgers! Big, and tasty - about 1/2 lb. French fries perfectly crisp. We ate here 3 days in a row. In the middle of the store. Sit down and enjoy yourself!

The only one small issue that makes it a negative shopping at a Whole Foods Market store is what I have encountered: wrong charges at checkout. It means lining up at another counter to get a credit. However, online shopping as a Prime member is sweet. Everything is a breeze. And delivery is quick. Items are what you’d expect. Really happy.
My favourite grocery store in NYC.There are often sweet deals for prime members and the membership pays off, especially when you use the video service too.The store itself is spacious.Pro tip: try to not shop on weekends. It gets crazy busy!
I havent been to this one in years. I see they have self checkout now. While shopping in the chip isle a customer put me on to Hippeas Barbecue. I must say theyre good. I will purchase in the future.

Really disappointed!Ordered a Ham roll and only on the top you get Ham and mustard. It was very nice displayed in the store. But once you finished the first 3 bites you come to the bottom where you only gonna find salat...You name it Ham and Swiss Roll but I think Salat Roll with Ham and Swiss would be more accurate!!

It was almost three stars. Over the last years, the quality of the staff and the general store have been slipping - hope it does not get worse now that amazon has bought them!- and with this update it is three stars - and possibly slipping - people are spending over 15 minutes to get served at the till - the produce is still good and despite a dwindling selection of products - worst is that the ethos whole foods was started with is also gradually but noticeably slipping away - the employees no longer seem proud of the company they work for - maybe their wages and benefits are slipping too? From great and inspiring, it now seems ever more humdrum and run of the mill - there is nothing wrong with an ordinary or normal supermarket provided the prices also matched the experience - a sad trend!Final update: with what seem like the effects of focus groups, profit maximisation mechanisms and staff that seem to look disenfranchised and glum, am starting to look for alternatives - v. sad. The cooperative spirit, even if confected has dissipated, replaced by Amazon Prime incentives and smiles.
Why are there no cashiers at this location. This push to self service is egregious. The lines are a 20 to 30 min wait. Also, when asking for help,, I have received several brush offs and rudeness.. Please take better care of your store and the community that supports it.
Used to be the place I would go a few times a day - for groceries, for hot food, sometimes for coffee, sit upstairs and eat, and always had a great time, and customer service, overall vibe was so upbeat and welcoming. Now, the variety is still mostly there, some good deals on meat and fish, healthy choices, but the atmosphere.. I guess thats what Amazon wants with their staff, but everyone is grumpy, no one is smiling, cashiers are silent and angry with no sign of even a remote smile on their faces. I still want to have healthy food and I like to pick good meats, fish and ripe fruits myself rather than order online, but coming here is draining my energy.
Their raspberry cupcakes are amazing. Cheesecakes are a bit let down. Tiramisu cake is good too! Plus the bananas for strange reason are great here. I also like their olive bar station.

Ive been shopping at Whole Foods Greenwich Street since it opened in 2008. Quality has diminished precipitously since Amazon took over. Items I used to buy like Italian Sweet Sausage which we now call STRAWsage, fish frozen & thawed, cheap cheese they dare to call locatelli romano are utterly unacceptable. The newest insult to shoppers is elimination of staffed checkout and forced self-checkout. Unfortunately there is no other food store in Tribeca & since Amazon knows they have a captive audience we are stuck with them. SHAME on AMAZON.

One of many supervisor in the back of the store insisted this was $3.99 and customer is wrong(definitively). When I went back to her she claims she never said $3.99. Stop lying and you should admit you weee wrong.
Love this location, great customer service, Eyerusalem went above n beyond to assist me and my girlfriend. We were trying toget packs of the Mia plant based prosciutto deli slices and the prices wasn’t coming up.
They offered a varieties of food stuffs. They have self cash out I left my phone on the counter while checking out and some kind nice person saw it and gave it to one of the ladys who work there.
Nice and clean inside however a lot of the employees dont seem to know or care about customer service. An exception would be the meat counter clerks, they are always helpful
The store was clean, and offered a large variety of assorted produce. The butcher was very polite and helpful. Picked up some juicy blood oranges and coconut shrimp.
Always a good experience. I consider it the best Whole Foods in NYC. Great selection of fish and caviar. Go and you will not be disappointed. It was better before the panic pandemic. Used to have fresh bread and pastries, but now wrapped and the taste is gone. In frozen they stock Spanicopita a Greek speciality that is great with sour cream. Try it, but be forewarned it is always shifted around so dig.
Love Whole Foods for meat, cheese, fresh breads and veggies, etc. All of the organic stuff is a gimmick and overpriced. I buy those items (non-organic) at the Target across the street!

Better pricing after Amazon purchase. But still prefer Trader Joes. Go on Friday for $1 oysters. That savings will make up for the beer and other stuff youre there to pickup.
I love shopping in Whole Foods, this is a place that has everything I need to get, and more. The staff is very accommodating and courteous. Fresh veggies, fish a great assortment. Meats spectacular.Prices very reasonable.When I shop there I have no need to go to another store.Oh and its close by my residence.Thank you.
Whole foods is for everyone who can afford to purchase whole foods and those in between. Im in between so Ill go sporadically and so might be able to catch a good sale, which they do have believe it or not. I salute them for the tremendous support of the local makers and their variety of choices. My experience at this location is always great. Checkout time is bearable and safe.

I went in to look around since I was in the neighborhood. They have a large variety of foods there. Its a very large space. Everything was organized and clearly labeled. The workers were nice too!
Probably the best location in all the WF Ive been to. Just overall cleaner. Employees seem less stressed. I dont see many Amazon shoppers. The aisles are wider. The selections are fresher especially for diary products. The cashiers and self checkout lanes are faster. Just overall what WF should be! Much better experience.

With quality foods and a big business name you can expect nothing less then the BEST from this supermarket chain. Consistency is key and the hit their mark, wish they would expand to other boroughs though, but still all good😉
Large Whole foods with everything you can think of. Their indoor dining areas is currently closed. But as an alternative, If you get their ready made food to go, step a few meters to the Washington Market park around the corner and enjoy your takeout. There are tables and restrooms on the park grounds. Enjoy!
Best Whole Foods in Manhattan. It’s big and in a nice location that isn’t hard to get to. They have a nice beer and cheese section. Huge produce section as well. Great for a grocery haul or just picking up a few items. Only negative is that there are so many shoppers fulfilling online orders around these days it gets a bit cramped at times. That’s the only reason it gets 4 stars instead of 5. Overall, it’s a great Whole Foods.
Love the gluten dairy free options. And sometimes I pick up something food to eat from the buffet

For me this is my go to grocery store in the neighborhood because of convenience and quality of food there. That being said the customer service is generally terrible at this store, and it’s impossible to find anything unless you look for it on your own, or know what it would be already. Perhaps I just had bad luck?Also, even during Coronavirus times this store is very crowded, and social distancing seems non-existent.If you do an online delivery order, they’re very good at fulfilling those in a timely manner.
Awesome selection of foods and products. Great lunch options if you live or work nearby. Employees are always very helpful. It gets really busy but they have a cool line system which keeps things moving very quickly. I love the fresh fruits salad bowls, always delicious ripe fruits in the bowls. Walking distance to great tourist areas so you can grab a healthy snack or juice and go.
It used to be a 5 star experience, but the quality of service has gone down noticeably over the last couple of years. Some of the cashiers and staff are borderline rude. Still, a decent supermarket overall. Hope they dont slide down further.

Its a really, REALLY big supermarket, with ALL the essential items you can think of. However, I couldnt find ANY of my usual brand of items that Ive always shopped for and enjoy. Also, their prices are incredibly high and unreasonable, especially for something Im totally NOT familiar with. I dont think Ill be shopping here again unless I need an item that only Whole Foods can provide...

I really love this store! It has good selection of fresh veggies and fruits. Nice organic options too! Many items are very reasonably priced. Lots of good sales every week. Now thanks to digital coupons you have a chance to save more. The store is clean, products are well organized by category. Express lines generally move pretty fast. I visit almost daily on my way to work!
This is one of the largest and most comprehensive Whole Foods locations Ive ever been to. It was such a nice surprise to see dramatically lower prices than most grocery stores in the city for things like frozen food. Also their 10 items or less checkout experience is surprisingly organized.

As always, this tribeca wholefoods location always has a good selection of fresh produce, meats, fruits and such. The staff is always helpful in assisting people with locating stuff. At 3:30 pm on Sunday, it was very crowded and social distancing was non existent. There were delivery people packing bags, There were staff trying to restock the shelves, there were groups of staff congregating at different spots and then there were the customers. The bread aisle was stocked only with the unpopular stuff. This was probably a peak time slot for this location.
I love to visit a local supermarket when Im holiday and this is by far one of the best. The link with Amazon prime is cool and opens you up to deals :), and everyone loves a deal :). The market looks fresh and selling good products. Every product we brought was tasty. Visited many times and fell in love with this supermarket. Not sure which I will miss more, new York or whole foods market 👍
Your typical Whole Foods. Decent selection of produce, although they may be out of items periodically. The fish and butcher shop staff are amazing. One call out are the cashiers, it would be nice to see a smile, hello and a thank you. They’re absolutely miserable. In general, 4/5 of the cashiers are unpleasant.
Great supermarket to run in and run out. Small compared to other supermarkets but prices are good and you can find everything quickly.
Its a wholefoods, what do you expect? The cafe up top is reaaally big, and a great place to meet up with friends. Some of the outlets sometimes dont work, but thats not too much of a worry. I will say that I liked it more before the renovations like two years back. Seems to be more loud more frequently now, and they took away the toaster oven :(
One of the larger Whole Foods store. It has all your usual items plus more. With a clean spacious Cafe on the second floor.
Amazing store a lot of fresh products. Excellent over all. The only complaint is that in order to play you have to walk all the way through the entire store to get to the cashiers. Not convenient for someone trying to get some fruits for their lunch. And the cashiers are not very fast but they are decent and polite at least.
You can find anything here. The machine that grinds up fresh peanut butter is the best!
Amazons takeover of Whole Foods is very obvious. The selection of packaged foods has greatly expanded and the shelf space has increased. Like Amazon, this store is less curated and the Amazon products are being marketed in prominent areas of the store. With COVID, the tasty burger bar has been closed and sample stations have been eliminated. Shopping during COVID also means vying for space on the aisle and in the check-out lane with professional shoppers instead of neighbors. Ive never been a huge fan of Whole Foods, but the grocery store basically has the monopoly on the Tribeca neighborhood and is priced accordingly.
I go to Whole Foods once or twice a week...great staff.. quality food..good sales but wish they had a few more regular supermarket items.
It is just a happy place! Fresh baguette and fancy cheese.. that more fi you need in life? I just really dont like the horse stall method for the checkout line. But the store is clean, well- lit, and fabulous selection.
I love going to Whole Foods when I can. They carry a large variety of vegan product.. Came home with some apple and cherry turnovers in this visit. The fruits and veggies are always fresh. You have so much to choose from. The store is always clean.
Well structure and spacious store. Has been fairly well stocked throughout COVID as well. If I have to recommend only one thing from here- Id say go for the tiramisu.. you wont be disappointed
Love this market. Yes, it is always crowded - but they do a super job of moving everyone through the lines, and they have literally every product or produce item you can think of. Expensive to be sure, but really worth it. Lots of samples, every person working there is knowledgeable about their products. Fantastic beer selection as well.
They have the New York Sirloin Strip Steak at a reasonable price and good quality. Love this place. I come all the way from the North Bronx to buy that and other stuff there when I have time. Highly recommend it!
I ordered a strawberry 🍓cake 🎂at the cake bar and asked that the box be taped. The male server turned to his female coworker and inquired when she said it was kept at checkout. He kept looking around when I said, dont leave the counter, Ill get it, as he rudely responded oh, I wasnt going anywhere. I replied, oh you fixed me, when he rolled his eyes stating you want the cake or not! And, I was certainly taken aback at the Aweful and Disappointing service. I go to whole foods every two weeks to purchase the strawberry cake and felt embarrassed 😳

Love this grocery store! Today, the employees Ash and Scott were so helpful, they made my day, and I now have a special appreciation for this store. And their produce section is top of the line! So many nice fresh vegetables.
One of the best Whole Foods Ive been too! Great for all your shopping and an unbelievable hot/cold food & dessert bar. Full deli. A specialized burger area. It will likely be crowded as its a hotspot to grab lunch for local workers but the lines are really fast and efficient (color coded?! awesome)
Its a pretty big whole foods and stocks a large variety of items to satisfy all your grocery needs and more. The staff is friendly and helpful and the produce is very fresh. Its clean and well maintained. The prepared food buffet and salad bar has good variety.The bakery does a good job of preparing a variety of breads, cakes and other baked goods. They have sales often.The bath products section also has a lot of interesting products to try.
This store can get crowded at times but the staff is friendly and their color-coded lines make the checkout experience faster than you would expect. They have frequent shortage of 365 Heavy Cream but the store is very well stocked-up for the most part.Try to shop there around noon on the weekends if you want to have a really good shopping experience.

Awesome whole foods. Good size place to eat. Lines generally not too bad. Toilets generally fairly clean, no line. In the evening, a lot of students working here, so atmosphere quite nice. Fairly nice view.
Stopped in with my family last night for dinner. Due to the extensive choice, we were all able to have plenty of options. Especially liked the very clean upstairs area for eating and restrooms clean as well. Overall really nice store.
One of the best foods market in the world! Yes... in the world. The quality and large selection is incredible. Since taken over by Amazon it seems that the prices are also more reasonable. The body care section is as well impressive. From one area to another local suppliers differ which makes these markets even more interesting.

As someone who has lived in Nassau County their whole life, this place is massive! Great selection of both groceries and fresh food including sushi, bakery items, Italian, Chinese, and salads with sufficient vegan options. Like most Whole Foods, theyre sometimes pricey but everything is clean and they are always happy to help you. The lounge upstairs is good for studying or hanging out. There are board game meet ups too.
Normally I love this store!!!! Today I had a particularly rude cashier be very annoyed that I brought my own bags. They asked if I was going to bag it myself or if they should, to which I responded either way was fine. So I started bagging my own to the best of my abilities. Then I tried to pay with my Whole Foods gift cards. They rolled their eyes when I tried to swipe it and said that they had to scan it. Then they said the gift cards weren’t working , when in fact they just didn’t know how to direct me to put in the code. They kept rolling their eyes and called the manager who helped alleviate the issue. And then they proceeded to be rude as I fumbled to finish bagging. To top it all off the watermelon juice spilled all over the inside of my bag on my hurry... very frustrating encounter...

Today my husband and I went into the store for a coffee, I go there every week for my coffee, absolutely love the taste, but today we had a very bad experience, there was a worker lady in there and she just left the coffee station after we were there for 5 minutes waiting to order our coffee, she did finished the other lady’s order and just left, without saying anything to us, not even a “I’ll be right back to get your order” or anything, we waited in there for about 3 more minutes and decided to leave, that was so rude and disrespectful

Huge place with a huge variety of stuff. Once stop shop for your home grocery shopping, and also to have lunch or dinner from the open buffet. You can also get upstairs to sit and enjoy your food, they have a big customer only seating area, which can get very busy especially during lunch time. You can sit upto 2h. I have never stayed that long so dont know what happens if you dont give up your start. You can also buy your coffee downstairs, or tastes good.
Convenient location 5 minute walk from WTC. Fresh produce. Great variety of organic and gourmet items. Also vitamins and supplements. I would go out of my way to shop here.
This Whole Foods Market in TriBeCa is really good! Its laid out well and has tons of variety compared to other stores in the country. They also run promotions sometimes outside giving you coupons to use inside. They have clean restrooms in the back as well.
I live in Long Island but I love shopping in this location specially. The space is massive compared to Manhassat and Jericho’s. I come here weekly after/before work. Their bakery is the best!

The hot food in the middle, ready to eat is not always that super fresh. So sad about it. Then the burger is something, but 6$ a little bit exp, because is not that big. Not that fair.The sushi too expensive and nothing special. Do not take the treats, those one you choose with tongs, because are not that fresh and people touch them, since there are not many tongs... disgusting. But good selection of local drinks (love ginger ale made in Brooklyn), good selection of chips and an amazing area to study upstairs.Watch out the hours, lunch is really full, not good to study. But you find always a sit to eat. Amazing area in the weekend, not too many people.
Recently, when I went to Whole Food Market, The price on the tag is often different from what I have to pay for it. Furthermore, The cashiers dont help and fool you around, so I went to customer service. They were no help whatsoever and their unacceptable services are nothing like they were before. Back then, they would help you adjust the prices, but they no longer do. I will never go there again. You should be careful and not get deceived.
Nothing groundbreaking about another Whole Foods location, however, I am writing to review their beer selection. They always have a great set of beers on tap and after buying a refillable growler, it makes a good option at getting some really nice craft beers at a cheaper price than usual. Happy hour can also get you a few bucks off between 5-8 during the week!
With a huge variety of good-quality items, youll regularly find new things to enjoy here. Hot food and many other dine-in options are available as well. A large seating area on the top floor exists for those to break and eat on-site. Lines almost always move quickly.
This is my favorite Whole Foods location in NYC. The layout of this store is very attractive and the fresh brownie bar is to die for. Honestly, I have never eaten a more delicious brownie than the cashew one, which was huge and loaded with an enormous number of cashews. What a great deal! Also, if youre into celebrity sightings, chances are youll see a few here.

My go to Whole Foods for lunch and breakfast. Always super stocked, upstairs seating area is vast and ton of room and even when packed it doesnt feel like youre sitting on other peoples laps. Recently they stopped letting you take out your own oatmeal and topping and this bothered me quite a bit so much so I havent been inclined to go back for oatmeal in the morning and keep it to lunch or just not going at all. Really wish this change would be reverted but in the mean time it gets the job done.
Great selection of organic food, great gluten free options in a variety of products. The juice bar is a great place for healthy beverages. Or simply coffee. The ample seating space upstairs is very inviting to have a good time while eating.
My best store to shop organic food and vitamins. Love their corn bread and many cooked foods. So many quality things for such a good price that if I start naming them they wont fit in the description box. 😉
No Whole Foods in Brooklyn and pretty much only bodegas in my neighborhood so Im happy this one is down the street from my job and right off the Chambers St subway. Very convenient. Great food and beer selection and. Love their bakery and cheesecake. Their weekly rotation of beer on tap for the growlers they offer is also awesome so theres always a variety.
I love this store. Every time I go there I spend at least an hour browsing all the departments. I really love their cheese section. The store consultants are VERY knowledgable about sorts of cheeses. Im still amazed by how helpful they were in getting me to decide which one I actually wanted. The only thing that I dont like about it is that sometimes the guys at the counter would charge me for stuff but would forget to put it in the bag! Not very attentive.
Embarrassed for normally tip-top Whole Foods after their Thanksgiving meal operation. They ran out of sides that folks had pre-ordered, ran a very poorly organized pickup and frustrated most of their shoppers with the way they filled orders. Seemed like it might have been outsourced with temporary workers as too many were standing around and doing look busy work. Again not normal stuff you see when shopping here.Update - Whole Foods generously credited me for the cost of bad stuffing and an uncooked turkey. Awesome customer service!!
Clean and organized. I can always find my vegan muffins and cookies also my vitamins. Every now and then I get my ice cream here. It has a big area to sit down and eat your food. Helpful workers can be found everywhere. Good market.
My absolute favorite grocery store
There is a huge lounge on the second floor with many long tables.I went there Saturday afternoon when not a lot of people were in the store.I saw several groups of people playing cards there. You can grab a snack and a drink downstairs whenever you want during the game. How brilliant! A good place to spend a casual time.
I’ve been going to this Whole Foods off and on for years and this is one of the best ones in the city. The seating area upstairs recently got a makeover this 2018 and it’s pretty cool. When I’m shopping they usually have what I’m looking for and what I want and the workers are friendly to me, it’s a very big store bigger than most Whole Foods in the city so sometimes things move around or are placed in awkward places but overall I like the store. I haven’t had any big issues here except other customer being rude or mean. Also sometimes celebrities sometimes come to this Whole Foods since it’s located in Tribeca and they live or stay in the area sometimes. It can busy some days, schools, a college and homes are nearby so it always has foot traffic.
Wow. I was amazed at the set up. That is my new favorite place. The healthy salad bars, the hot food section. It is great. And I can get all my healthy items in one place. I like Whole Foods better than Trader Joes is all I kept thinking.
This is the largest whole foods I’ve been in - larger even than the ones in the boroughs and definitely bigger than the one in union square. That makes shopping here a much more pleasant - less crowded - experience. The selection is great.
I love their produce, counter options, hot/salad bar and usually they are helpful, fast & efficient.

Blueberry carton was taped at hinged side resulting spillage in bag. This clear plastic was also stacked vertically. On my recent visit, I see they have improved sealing and stacking practice in a bag. Thanks
The best supermarket south of 14th Street. Its a fully stocked Whole Foods with a hot and cold salad bar, juice an coffee bar, upstairs eating area and a fresh meat and fish bar. Its well-run, clean, lots of registers, and a very friendly staff. Pricing us better with Amazon in control but its still expensive and thats why only 4 out of 5 stars.
I attended many Whole Foods stores in Seattle in New York. That is the place I really like. Here at Manhattan store is positioned as luxurious. But prices for fresh fruits and vegetables are affordable. Upstairs there is a great area to sit, take a lunch and use restroom. I do recommend this store to anyone!
Loved it.it was my first time seeing a whole food market and I though it would be like a regulars supermarket but its not.... Its just a mini Costco or BJ but with average size bag servings. I love it because it not far from my school, the staff were very kind and respectful and I would recommend this place with my eyes close.
Good for some things, as this is a larger space so they can stock more variety, but still unrealistic on most prepared foods, fish, and virtually all meats.They no longer stock the range of veggies they used to, so I dont go there nearly as much for a few of my favorites, and again, waiting in cashier lines can be a 15 minute or longer ordeal.
It has what every whole foods has, organic produce, salad bars and other amenities. The veggie area as expected us crowded but I think it has to do with the way the items are displayed . Once you get past that point its much easier to maneuver. Decent spaces upstairs to sit and eat, much bigger than the one at union sq. Prices are pricey since its Manhattan and friendly demeanor is much to be desired amongst the staff.

I like the fruits and food here, and I shop here every week. However, i had a very awful experience today. The cashier totally ruined my day! This lady had a poker face, and spoke NOTHING in the checkout process. She appeared that I owed her a 1000 bucks!!! Whats worse, she was not professional at all. First, she did not ask whether I had the amazon prime account. Second, I bought 5+ lbs items, and she only gave me a SINGLE SMALL bag. Didnt she realize how heave the purchased items are, and a single bag would break? Third, she basically THROW everything into the bag!!! Didnt she know some items are fragile??? Horrible experience...
They have a huge selection of every food item. And the store itself is structured ergonomically and easy to find the items from your grocery list. My only complaint is that whole foods is still quite expensive and the even though they have a great selection of organic products, it doesnt justify such steep prices.
The store has been redone since I used to visit it regularly. To me it looks a little shabby and worn. Item selection has been pared down a little, not necessarily a bad thing. I found the experience less enticing and more of a regular supermarket chore.
Nice WF, lacks alcohol other than beer. Self checkout line looks bad but moves quickly.
Best Whole Foods in the city... hands down. Hot bar is clean and always good. Sushi bar, cheese bar, brick oven and rotisserie deli, charcuterie, seafood and shellfish market, coffee bar, you name it... they have it. It can get busy (ofc), but it’s the most efficient staff, the layout is spacious and easy, and the upstairs lounge is huge with all the usual Whole Foods’ extras PLUS a kids area and lounge. Cleaner than most Whole Foods common areas (which are already v. Clean for the amount of people they serve in nyc). Makes paying the extra few bucks worth it.

Horrible they never have any vegan hot food or sandwiches(there burger bar hasnt had any veggie burgers in 6 months) , they never have any bagels or banana walnut muffins.please update the menu if your not going to serve certain foods dont have it up.thank you
Staff here is pleasant, parking in the area is slim. Luckily they have a service where they deliver. If you live in walking distance this is a great place to shop. A bit pricey though, but at least thats consistent with whole foods since their inception.

While whole foods is still one of the best options in the city for groceries, I have been pretty disappointed this past year in the quality of the fresh produce and fish. This past week, I found a worm in the flounder that i bought (I froze It and when i took it out of the freezer, there was a worm that had partially crawled out of the fish). Additionally, a few weeks ago, I bought a bag of carrots here that ended up being completely rotten when I opened the bag back home the same day. Im not sure if the quality decline has to do with the amazon takeover, but I havent ever had a problem with whole foods in the past few years. Pretty disappointing.

With spacious eating area upstairs, including lounge area, and wide range of food options from raw food to organic meats, this is one if my favorite locations for lunch. Its also family friendly.This place is too crowded usually but its ok since they have many fast cashiers with optimized check out system.If you are there during lunch time I would recommend Po Boys sandwiches, served in the middle area next to hot food section.Long for short, this place is definetely good for locals and tourists...

This is my favorite neighborhood Wholefoods. They make a clear effort to engage with the community and offer a variety of value added services. Shop here for organic and healthy products. They also have a great salad bar and a burger stand.
The prepared food bar here is awful. Poorly cooked and so much fried food it’s disgusting. Quality of Whole Foods in general has gone terribly downhill since Amazon took over. Remember they used to sell books? Free shipping doesn’t make for quality food. This place is trash. Bezos is trash. First the store has 3 entrances, which shows you how huge it is. If you have never been to a Wholefoods, its an awesome experience of culinary options everywhere you look. They have options for every dietary needs: gluten free, vegan, meaty, cheesy, and more, the idea here is that if you are looking for something they probably have more than three varieties for you.Wholefoods has a promise that what they sell and offer is 100% natural and they are the largest grocery store to offer organic foods.Shop without worries of buying the worst of whats out there.Back to this specific location, which has everything:Burger BarIndian BarVariety hot barKids play areaAlcohol (if that is your thing)Coffee BarGelato barBallet bar...j/k making sure youre paying attention.The staff is extremely helpful and efficient, they dont just point things out they take you to what you are looking for and explain benefits of your purchase.What makes this location even better is that you can eat in the dining room, as well as stroll over to the Hudson river and have a picnic.One additional feature for this store is that they have nutritional support from professionals as well as cooking classes.Ah bliss...you can not miss.Check it :)
A truly colossal Whole Foods with an epic hot bar. A great selection of process, including some that Ive never seen at other large Whole Foods Ive visited. This store offers plenty of checkout lanes, which is useful when youre trying to just grab something quickly and get out. Theres a spacious upstairs dining area if you want to eat your purchase in store.
I love shopping in whole foods bc I always find my favorites brands unfortunately at this particular location the fruit area left me a little disappointed, fruit seemed not fresh enough and limited variety.
Always long wait times at this location. Even during a week day afternoon. The lane and register signal is confusing. Self checkout has a long wait and takes forever when the scanner doesnt work.
Its a huge store, I work here but through a third party company. They dont sell anything that has too much artificial stuff in it. Theyre big on organics. They have a lot of healthy alternatives like hey make a lot of vegan, a lot of products have have a vegetarian option, gluten free options, no salt added. Pretty good on health factors. It gets pretty busy during rush hours so if you can avoid them try doing so. The foods at the food bar doesnt really change much they might change one or two items each day but its pretty much the same thing every day. They ha e ALOT of healthy alternatives so please consider taking a trip to atleast browse the place. To most people its an expensive place especially certain things they charge by the pound, if your not paying attention you can pay about 23 bucks for a meal lol. When asking for help I suggest asking more than one employee if they tell you its not there without helping you look, most likely its on a display or they just dont know where what your looking for is. You have maybe one or two grumpy people out the whole business but almost EVERYONE is friendly. They dont mind helping at all. They actually smile about it. They do not serve alcohol or wine but they do serve beers and ciders and things like that. They have a nice variety of cheeses and olives, milks and natural juices variety of nuts prices beans and coffee. They even have a coffee/ juice bar. They have a burger bar. A bulk section. They have a wide variety of everything. If your looking for cheap just look at the 365 brand usually the cheapest. And its a great price dont get it wrong. You cant judge until you look for yourself. They have almost organic everything. I recommend
I used to make special trips out of my way to go here, but not anymore! I still love the healthy, eco-friendly, and organic options Whole Foods has, but I dont love that their bulk rice/cereal has MOTHS in it. No joke. I brought the rice home and a moth flew out. Now I only buy canned or prepackaged food there, and shop for grains, pasta, and cereal elsewhere.
Out of all Whole Foods in Manhattan, this one is on my top list. Great selection of groceries, good customer service, and good location (Tribeca is my favorite area of nyc). It’s in the area, where you mostly see locals and not many tourists, so it’s not super crowded all the time. The prices are a bit high, but you can always find deals or sales. I like the fact that the groceries are always fresh and the customers are always treated with respect. Attentive and caring customer service is what most of the time brings people back.
Good overall. Two issues that stand out:1. The bagged salads are consistently mislabeled or misplaced, making it impossible to tell what the prices are.2. No Heinz for the burgers. Sir Kensingtons Ketchup is never, ever, an acceptable replacement.

It is a nice size place with alot of options to pay so you wont be on line for long the downside well for me was trying to get my amazon package because when I went to ask the workers I was told two different things and it felt like there should be some signage that would point me to the amazon pick up

Whole foods Tribeca is a fairly comprehensive store, generally will have things the nearby Best Market (also its main competition in the area) doesnt carry. 4 Stars as the prices for non-staples can be high. Meat is pricey also but high quality, Theres also a pretty good hot food bar at this location ($10 per lb)
This Whole Foods used to have the crepes and they were delicious! The whole section is under construction/renovation but idk what they will turn it into. This Whole Foods is very clean the line isnt as crazy packed as some of the other branches. One of my only criticism, is the layout between the seafood section and health/soaps section because they are way too close and the contrasting scents dont mix well. Overall, a great place to shop.
There arent a lot of options when it comes to ingredients for baking. I needed puff pastry and they only had one brand and it was gluten free. I needed vanilla beans and the only one they had was 20$ for 2 beans. I will only go there because it is the closest super market. But if I had another option I would go somewhere else.
Great selection of produce, groceries, prepared foods, sandwiches, hot food bar and cold salads, as well as desserts at this Whole Foods, as it is pretty large. Upstairs they have a nice large seating area to sit and eat. There is also a fairly large section of Whole Body personal care items such as shampoos, soaps, and beauty items in addition to vitamins, supplements and holistic remedies.
They had what I wanted: rice crackers and roasted garlic hummus. But the layout was a little confusing to navigate for this first time Whole Foods shopper.
Great up class grocery store. Always have the freshest produces thats why its so expensive. Staffs are nice and helpful but waiting on line to pain can be a pain if you in a hurry. Almost everything in the store is high priced. Overall great for people that and afford but no good for people in a budget.

Out of all wholefoods locations in NYC this is my favorite spot. Its huge and has a great selection of everything include the cafe section with grassfed burgers and fresh sandwiches and burritos. Its crowded but you never have to wait long unlike the place in Union Square.
Crowded a lot of the time but they do have every register working and a great selection! i just wish someone knew more about the drinks one person was handing out beer samples but completely snubbed me and my sister like we werent there only talking to one girl who didnt even buy it... we were actually shopping for beer....

This is a Whole Foods Mecca. The variety is impressive and the lines relatively manageable. Their fresh cookies are a variety of locally sourced confections that always catch my eye. Indeed, another strong entry from Whole Foods, nothing special, but certainly a great addition to the neighborhood.
What I love about Whole foods, even more than its grocery shopping, is its food and lounge area. Whenever I just need somewhere to get food and sit down in the city, there are not many options. Therefore, I am always able to rely on Whole Foods to sit down, relax and enjoy some high quality food really quickly.
The discount for Amazon Prime members (make sure you install Whole Foods app on your smartphone!) makes shopping here a bit less painful than it ordinarily is. Whole Foods should be commended for the efficiency with which it dispatches large numbers of shoppers through its color-coded checkout system.On the negative side for this particular store, Ive seen roaches among the bulk foods items. And even with the prime discount, Whole Foods still hasnt become the bargain many of us hoped for when Amazon acquired it
Love the cafe coffee but rude service
Unfortunately, this Greenwich St location has awful service. Employees look unhappy and show their misery. It’s my first time at this location and it’s a bad first impression. Ordered tea on my way out and it was like the server had to force a smile. Smiles are free! The good news is that the Union Square location always has great service. Been to that location several times and I’ll go there from now on. Hope this review helps shoppers.

2022-05-23I’ve received my second Whole Foods delivery order that arrived in single-use plastic bags that are thick, vinyl-like, and a massive waste of resources. My Whole Foods deliveries used to come in recyclable paper bags, but now Whole Foods has taken to a terrible environmental approach. Can you imagine hundreds or thousands of these bags being funneled into our landfills? I tried contacting Amazon and Whole Foods support and literally was passed along to five different people, none of whom were actually able to give me helpful information about why this has been changed or how to get paper bags again that I can recycle. Making matters worse, the plastic bags aren’t even used sparingly, as sometimes a single small item is placed inside a single bag. This terrible environmental practice means I won’t be ordering from Whole Foods again.

2022-07-05Situated just north of the World Trade Centre this is a large supermarket which also offers a good range of hot & cold dishes for those who are on the move or live nearby. There is a seating area upstairs which pretty big. There are some good healthy options, fruits, cold meats, fresh bread/rolls and we are all had something different. Although there were no complaints with what we ordered, it was strange to find that with the large range of breads, there was no gluten free offerings.

And obviously, this is Whole Foods, so you can get any kind of food you could possibly want to go with your beer.

2022-03-28We usually visit here when we have work around. Its deli food are very good and useful, specially hot bar or hat food. Bathroom for the customer available. It has enough space to sit inside and eat in second floor. I havent seen its parking. Store is usually busy.

Long lines are not met with increased numbers of checkout staff and several of the self checkout stations a frequently out of service. More of these and some that function would be welcome. We have few grocery store options in this neighborhood.

2022-05-02When I first stepped into Whole Foods it felt like the gates of heaven have opened up in front of me. This may sound a bit exaggerated but they really have a wonderful selection of everything a hobby chef could wish for. I wish we had Whole Foods in Germany too.

2022-03-21I used to love this spacious location. Now shelves are always scarce, esp produce and grab n go. I got 1 of last 2 Greek salads for lunch today. As I was eating it, I noticed sandy grit in my mouth. I picked out all the red onion, thinking it must be in that but couldn’t get the gritty taste out. They must’ve stopped washing the lettuce with labor shortage, anyway I had a tummy aches afterwards
