Wild Fusion in other cities:
Talk about going downhill. Since moving from the city, this and another restaurant we would patronize. We went in really late (8:45pm). I ordered beef basil, and my wife had the sizzling seafood platter. The food was brought out together and mine was made It was cold. My appetizer looked so bad, I didnt eat it. This is what they brought out as dumplings. The waiter didnt seem to care that I didnt touch my appetizer. It sad to see this, but we wont go back.
I have not had all there different items but I wanted to try them cause there close to me. As far as the kani salad goes if you are expecting a salad Great ,if you are expecting a good kani salad your not going to get it, this is a lump of crab meat on iceberg lettuce. Im sure other things are good but not this
The best asian-style fried oysters anywhere, and fresh and delicious sushi in a cool (if sometimes noisy) atmosphere. We also had Kung Pao chicken, which was also delicious, but if you want it really spicy, tell them when you order. (And btw, check out the restrooms - totally awesome 😎)
We enjoy eating out. Last night we went to this delicious restaurant which friends recommended to us. We enjoyed a lovely evening there with very good food and a professional stuff and a professional chef. We put this restaurant in our phone list and we will no doubt return soon. We highly recommend.
Went on a Saturday night for a family dinner. Place was busy, but had a reservation and was seated right away. Comfortable atmosphere and lighting. Servers are excellent. Ordered from the fusion menu, which was slightly pricey for the portion served. Food was fresh and tasty, a step above most Chinese take out but not by much. Im told the sushi is fresh and excellent, a rarity for this area, but I havent tried it yet. Overall a pleasant night out.
This place recently opened up the dining area for covid seating. I do TONS of deliveries for this location. The food is good though. The presentation is also very WILD fusion. Its a little pricey for the portions that you get in my opinion, this assessment was formed pre-covid though. So things may have changed since then. Nice place to take a group or a loved one.
We returned after looking at their updated menu online and noticed a change for the better. Gone are the misleading Happy Hour Specials and strange Wine prices. The Fusion Rolls are from $2 to $5 less than regular prices and the $6 Appetizers are from $1 to $3 below the regular menu prices. The prices have always been reasonable, they keep the Hand Rolls small to do this, so instead of 5 we order 6.The quality of the food here has never been an issue, its always excellent. We are once again regulars.
Eh, Ive eaten here a few times. The service is okay but not friendly. The food is just okay but over priced for what it is. They also wont give you fried rice as a side, you are supposed to buy a large plate of it. Every Chinese restaurant Ive ever been offers this. We also asked if we could have half chicken and half shrimp on an order. We were told this is not possible because the price is different. Why couldnt they just charge us the higher price? Very weird restaurant overall and i wouldnt recommend unless youre desperate.
I’ve been here several times and each time I left feeling disappointed. I highly recommend going literally anywhere else for Asian cuisine. They are extremely unfriendly and unwilling to accommodate you in anyway. We asked for half chicken and half shrimp, they would not do it even if we would pay extra. I also asked for pork fried rice instead of white rice and they would not give me a small side. What other Chinese place would not provide this? They where extremely rude each time we where there and the food in general is terrible. Please skip this place.
Other than eating here on a regular basis, whenever we have friends or family from out of town, one of the places we always go is here. Its very clean and always fresh. The people who work here are very warm and informative about their menu choices. The only downside is, there should be a frequent flyer program out some kind of point system. That would be great!!!
Just horrible horrible customer service. everytime I go in i see new wait staff. we ordered lobster fried rice, with no lobster, the manager came over and started to argue and started poking around w/ our utensils to say that the lobster was cut up...okay not for $18.00. they wont be seeing us for long time. too bad since we are/were good customers.
Lovely service but I ordered the udon noodles and they came out drenched in what tasted like spoiled bbq sauce, not that I expected anything here to be authentic as Im sure they cater to locals who are not familiar with food from the many different countries in Asia. Maybe the sushi is better? It seems to be what theyre known for...
This place manages to be weird and great at the same time. The decor screams nightclub and seems out of place for Mohegan Lake (the bathrooms have blue lighting and there are some weird murals.) Despite this, the food is great. Ive had appetizers, sushi, Chinese food, and curry here, and I havent been disappointed. Their takeout is also good.
Honestly the reason it gets two stars is because my significant other said the food was good. I am a vegan; which eating out at none vegan places can be challenging. I’ve been at this for a while so I know the questions to ask to make the dish accommodating. There was a very clearly stated vegetarian section which usually makes it a bit easier to alter some choices. However, upon further investigation asking some questions it was revealed to me that there is chicken stock in all the vegetarian choices. Labeling something as vegetarian is lazy, irresponsible and rude. I can’t even imagine all the vegetarians that have been exposed to chicken without their permission because of that label.
Great place, great pricing, great staff. My only complaint is that they are super busy so getting a seat at peak hours can be a wait. Deffo make reservations for a group of more than 4 if you want to go during peak hours. Their sushi is amazing, my friend is obsessed with their volcano roll.
If I could give less than one star, I would. This is hands down one of the worst Asian meals I’ve ever consumed. We ordered an assortment of appetizers and they were ALL grease-soaked and flavorless. I cannot believe that even the rice was terrible. Shrimp-fried rice with no egg, peas, or carrots. It just looked like white rice soaked in soy sauce (for brown color) and a few shrimp thrown in. Goyza that were unimpressive, and BBQ ribs that were dipped in a runny red sauce instead of being cooked and basted with the sauce. I was able to correct this at home by turning on my broiler and allowing the sauce to cook onto the ribs. I’ve had good meals here in the past, but the last several trips have been disappointing. This was a absolutely my last meal!
Barely 2 stars. Nice presentation but over priced, mediocre quality. Weve eaten there and done take out a few times, does not make the grade. Tuna is fibrous, rest of fish not really good, miso soup is middling. No rice or salad included. NYC prices without the quality. Were done with this place. If you are near Bonzai in Poughkeepsie, go there instead.
The food was good, but the staff was rude! Not to mention I sat down to order my food and went to pay. I didnt have cash on me and they failed to inform me (until it was time to pay)that their credit card machine wasnt working! Thank God my friend had extra cash on her. I will never return here!

2022-04-11Food was really good, a bit overpriced for the types of menu items being ordered. Ambiance is great, however, and the staff were really nice although they took a long time to come to serve the food and also to bring the bill and then again to collect it. It seems like a nice spot for an afternoon hang out, especially at the bar. May return for drinks. They do have a happy hour!

2022-03-21Got there around 5:30 and was seated immediately. The place filled up by 6. Service was decent. The sushi was fresh. Thought that $20 for sesame chicken and a scoop of rice was a bit on the high side, as was $10 for a garden salad.

2022-02-13Food is really tasty and well priced. Service is good. But the drink prices are outrageous. $14 for a jack and coke, $ 8coronas $7 Bud Lt’s. Those are Manhattan prices. I’d go back but water would be my drink of choice.

2022-05-26We like Wild Fusion quite a bit, and consider it the best local option for Chinese food. Its also fun to go there because their bar is totally geared towards getting you drunk. Nothing super crazy in any aspect, but a solid place.

2022-03-25The food and service are spectacular. They always have your food within five minutes, even if the place is busy. They cook the food just right, and I am ALWAYS satisfied after I leave. 5/5

2022-05-02Update: still keeping at 3 stars but they improved the interior recently by getting rid of the old, huge leather chairs and going with a new more streamlined interior. Food is ok. Sometimes better than ok. But not always. Still, a solid place to go, especially with young kids or larger groups.

2022-06-25I would like to see the manager at this restaurant is absolutely the rudest person I’ve ever met I would never suggest going to this place watching her yell at her employees while I’m paying big money to eat dinner there it’s not exactly what I call relaxing the manager should be absolutely demoted and remove from the position of manager
