Paid & placed an order online, called the store ahead to let them know I wouldnt be able to pick it up until the weekend, associate on the phone said theyll put a note on it and it wouldnt be a problem, got to the store that weekend for them to tell me: they cancelled my order and SOLD it on the sales floor.
JD here helped me find the perfect kitchen knives, and I’m very happy with my purchase. He let me hold several knives to see what felt right, and walked me through the various differences between brands and styles. Unfortunately, when I got home I noticed a crack in the knife block I had bought, but when I called JD he said to bring it back and he would exchange it, which he did. I’m really happy I wondered into this shop! Thanks JD!
Good experience. Received lovely service from Suzy!She was just very nice and warmly engaging.I helped myself to the peanut toffee two times. It was delicious too, but I went back for the third and final time as I was at the checkout, but someone removed it. Bummer.Michelle was at the checkout. She was about the business, but warned up as we engaged in a brief, yet meaningful convo.Earlier, I helped her as she was trying to place merchandise into a shopping bag and there you have it.As always, I thank you.
Helpful staff, always asking if guests need assistance; Michelle was very helpful in recommending a popular tea from London as a Christmas gift for a family member. I didn’t have to go searching for a gift for her at another store so it worked out ! Diana was also very warm, friendly and diligent! Will come back here frequently and being my family , Thankyou for a pleasant shopping experience! Especially on Christmas Eve !
For your kitchen needs, they carry almost everything you could possibly need. Top end pot collections are a must. Dont buy them individually. Go on a sale day like Memorial or Black Friday and take about $5000 with you and you can have their top products and fill your entire kitchen and home. A set for $4000, you can probably get for $2000 on a good sale day. Their rewards is slightly lack luster but every other aspect of this place is grand.
I registered with William Sonoma for my wedding, so my experience with this place is pretty expansive. I love coming in here and looking at the new kitchen and home appliances. Ive bought everything from birthday candles to pots and pans from here. Sales associates are knowledgeable, but I think the managers have an amazing amount of knowledge. This is a great place to register for an event or to just go and check out appliances. If you come in on the weekend, they normally have demonstrations and samples for customers!
I bought a gift yesterday that was quite heavy and I want to commend the sales people for their help in picking out the best gift, a guacamole mortar, and for helping me secure it in a little cart I brought in order to transport it home by train...which I did. I especially want to mention a lovely blonde middle age woman, perhaps the manager, who went out of her way to make sure my box was secure in the carrier.Service with a smile is appreciated....great staff.I tried to give a tip but it was refused.
Horrible company, misleading customers online. When I was placing my order it showed 3-8 business day delivery. 24 hours after purchase I tracked my order and I saw it was going to arrive 3 weeks later!! My money is still not on my account even though I canceled it immediately. They caused me a considerable inconvenience!!! I needed that product before my family arrives from Europe and now I cant buy another one (from a different decent company) until my money is back on my account. Misleading is illegal!!! Liars
I was late buying a friends wedding present and realized I couldnt have it shipped.Erik at this location patiently went to the registry, confirmed that each item was in the store, let me know that if I paid over the phone hed have it gift wrapped and ready by the time I got to the store and updated the registry.A good employee can make or break a place.This place is great.Thank you, Erik.
Beautiful store and JD the manager is EXCELLENT!!!!!! He is very kind, patient and actually understands how everything works. When I first discovered the store a year and a half a go he and Larry (now retired) came over and help me organize and set up everything I bought including a spiralizer, dishes, plates, knives etc. It is amazing to get such excellent service and I came back today to shop and JD even helped me find an amazing Indian spice which is vegan! I got more plates, spices, a stainless steel tray to back and more.A treasure in Chelsea and JD and a young man today were invaluable helping me!
This Williams Sonoma is large and airy. Excellent customer service and a great selection of cookware and accessories in the store. They out herbs in a rotisserie in order to perfume the store. Overall, it is a pricey store but it is a specialty store and the quality is excellent.
Excellent quality in all articles for the home.The kitchen and tableware sector has a variety for different occasions and themesInterior decoration, furniture, carpets and linen.Undoubtedly a place where you will find everything to equip your home.My experience was always very good!

2022-02-11What could have been a nice review of a surviving brick & mortar store competing with Big Box Retailer’s & Amazon; I’m sad to say this store had a chance to and blew it. It’s really a shame and one of the first times in recent years I’ve felt deliberately targeted and profiled; which really was upsetting. Especially considering two white women were in the store with no mask and no one speaking to them about that when that’s posted on the door. I’m wearing a mask, ready to actually make a big purchase and perusing what else they might have. Talking with my partner via text & picture mail on anything else we might need, and what would be a good gift; I was approached in a rude manner and tone followed by a discourse on what this employee found okay to do in store. There’s no signage or posting about any sort of photography but there is about masks and wearing them. I watched as the the duo was not harassed yet I’m singled out. Followed by being followed around the store and rushed along for my purchase. Which was all irking seeing this other group clearly treated differently; like night and day. Whether they made a purchase or not I can’t be sure but it didn’t seem like it. But because a black man is in the store , with a backpack and hoodie there’s some issue. Meanwhile I was at first celebrating how nice the store looked and the nice products. It was a shame and feeling the following around the store just felt gross. If I had time to go somewhere else to purchase this gift, I would’ve. Another employee at the counter (and was seemingly a long term employee) offered assistance in the area of the item I needed. Her friendliness and expertise was a bit more refreshing after the two other employees were so distasteful; but it doesn’t salvage the shopping experience. If i wasn’t crunched for time in my life I really would’ve spent these hundreds with anyone else or company; and remained not petty enough to next day air my decision through Amazon. But this Williams-Sonoma is likely not the pride of their stores and I’d avoid them. Shop anywhere else with better customer service.In my fashion of honest reviews I will say the store is very clean, well lit, well stocked, and the cashier did their best without knowing what the other employees did , said, and my ruined experience. If you choose to shop here I hope you have a better experience than I did.

2022-06-10Ive been here but I dont like this store. The staff here are racist. 2 of the staff followed me and my girlfriend as if they were afraid we would take their stuff. Still wondering why they stared us in this way. And a lot of things here seem so cheap.I hope Asians dont come here to be discriminated against. We buy in the store, not in the store to discriminate.

2022-02-20Dear Ms. Annie, please do the right thing the next time the sign in the store states that Home lotions and soaps are 20% off but the register and William Sonoma website do not reflect 20% off the dish soaps directly under the sign. Give the customer the 20% off. I hope William Sonoma will provide you additional training. NYS Dept. of Consumer Affairs please take note.

2017-12-09I generally look for 3 things in the places I frequent:Service - the staff here are friendly with just the right about of leave-you-alone.Offering - amazing range of high quality products.Atmosphere - so Christmassy! 2022-01-09I am glad that William Sonoma store is open to buy in. I bought the meater plus thermometer. The other items I was interested are offer cheaper in Amazon but the representative could not mach the prize. I think William Sonoma focus as a culinary seller is declining to focus in other parts of the group like furniture...my opinion.

2020-01-31Got the Harry Porter ice mold from Williams Sonoma last week. Im absolutely loving it ! The ice actually shaped like the golden snitch and it doesnt smell anything weird like the other ice mold I bought. It is easy to use as well. Highly recommend !

2019-01-31I purchased a breville barista express from this location about a month ago.The first machine acted wonky right out of the box. I used it for about three days and the machine began shutting off while making a shot of espresso. I called up the store the manager told me to bring the machine in.Upon arriving at the store we examined the machine and the manager determine it was defective and got me a new one. The customer service was superb and it really made me happy that I purchased the machine from Williams sonoma.After getting my new machine, the manager demo how to make espresso on the display unit. This was great because it gave me a baseline on how the machine was supposed to work.

2021-06-10Firstly, its a very pretty store with a lot of great products that vary in price. My only issue is that it seems to be a commission based establishment, so when I went in just to browse, a worker very kindly came to ask if I was interested in buying anything. The moment I said I was just browsing, but Im moving so I will come back soon his enthusiasm was gone and he just walked away. As I was walking out I told him to have a great day and Ill be back soon, he didnt acknowledge it even as he looked at me. The service just isnt there and it felt more like they just want to cater to the rich and will overlook the average joe. Giving it 3 stars because they have a lot of nice products, are very well stocked up and clean, but it didnt feel very welcoming. Wont stop me from buying from this company, but not sure Ill be coming to this location again unfortunately.
