Food is great you definitely get yur money worth, plus good authentic Jamaican homestyle food. people there are great nice and warm vibes greet you with a smile all the time would highly recommend this place to others
NASTY ATTITUDES came to this establishment three times not because the food is great but because it’s local and there are no other Jamaican restaurants in the area, however will never go back each time they have had bad attitudes das if their doing you a favor for coming to their place of business and prices are extremely high for the bad service and just ok food
I’m leaving a 2 star review just out of kindness. For some reason whenever I come to this establishment, everyone has a nasty attitude. Paying customers don’t deserve the attitude.
This place is perfectly named. What a DELIGHT this food is. You MUST, you MUST, you MUST patronize this restaurant. The salmon...with PINEAPPLE...off the chain!!! Everything is delicious, I just wanted to highlight the fish, though. Im grateful for this establishment. And you will be too. Thank you, Willies staff!
My daughter just ordered two oxtail ,once she returned only to fine to big oxtails and that’s way it.I called to complain only to be asked what can they do about it that the portion they give and then laughed about it,shamefull.I know food is high but I would like to get what I paid for owner or staff didn’t try to solve the problems.👎🏽 Where’s my oxtails?
I just moved to Suffolk from the city and have been looking for a new Jamaican restaurant. Willies does not disappoint. I ordered food for myself and my family and it was so good. I ordered an oxtail with rice and peas for myself and it was well seasoned and bursting with flavor. I was told that the jerk chicken could use some more jerk as it was more like plain baked chicken, but that’s the only negative thing I’ve got to say. Since I found out about Willies I’ve gone here at least once a week, and each time I’ve received stellar service. Whether it was during the day or 15 minutes before closing. The food was fresh and delicious and I’m grateful to have found a great spot on the island. Nothing in Suffolk compares so far. They are also available to order online through your food ordering apps which is amazing.

The food was execellent the goat meat with cabbage and dumpling. The food not to spicy. My son had the jerk chicken with peas and rice and plantain. He had no complaints. It was my first time going there and i most definitely be back there again.
After being dissatisfied more than once at the other local Jamaican restaurant, I decided to try Willie’s out. The reviews online were good not only for the food but for how friendly the staff is. Today when I went in, I was greeted with a smile and happy to help attitude. I ordered the oxtail with rice and peas. When I asked for extra gravy on the rice, the woman showed me and then asked if that was enough. That would never happen at the other place. The food was amazing and the portion was plenty. Oxtails ridiculously tender, falling off the bone. I will definitely be back and tell others as well.
Good, homestyle Jamaican food. Was worth the price, as I was able to get 2 meals out of my order. Plenty of beef patties too; Ive gone to plenty of other Jamaican restaurants where the patties were sold out by lunch time.
This place is amazing. I called on a last minute request on July 4 to order food for at least 15 people. This place was able to provide all this food in a short notice on a holiday. The food was ready in an hour and it was delicious. I highly recommend this place.
The food is good. However, I am paying a different price (higher) every time when I go there. $15.00 for a medium oxtail dish is way too much and I was told that their prices are going up. I won’t be back.
Willies Delight has great Jamaican food. The jerk chicken is seasoned and cooked to perfection. The curry goat is the best curry goat Ive tasted in a long time! My family cant get enough of the food! Be sure to get some beef and chicken patty when you go.

I have 4 Stars for the TASTE of their food but I give 2 Stars in the SMALL SIZED PORTION of their food. You get 5 Oxtail in the medium size portion for $15 and 6 Oxtail in the Large sized portion for $19. I bought both sizes twice and counted the pieces when I got home. You are charged $4 more for 1 more oxtail. They need to be MORE generous like the other Carribean Restaurants in the nearby areas.
Their food is AMAZING! I am totally happy every single time I order. This is hands down one of the best restaurants in Suffolk County.I would add a picture, but I devour the food as soon as I get it!

This is the first time to Willies Delight and I must say it was pleasant the lady serving the food was very patient and kind she took my order and explained everything I needed to know the food did look delicious and it turned out to be great, my family did enjoy every morsel of it my only regret is that I live far away but the trip out there was more than worth it I will definately be back Willies your food is good.

This place is clearly one of the coolest place in the area. Anytime I come to this place I am highly happy. They maintain their very high level service and the topmost level of cooking they offer. You can never go wrong with this place. Very recommended.

Oxtail dinner didnt taste bad just dry and little to no gravey. Lady that served us need to check her attitude. Acting like she dont want to answer any question. 2 stars because of her.

Someone told me about this restaurant cause I wanted some Jamaican food I had a large oxtail and I never see Jamaican food so expensive like that in my life I pay $20.10 the ask me what side I want I say mac and cheese that usually came with your order they charged me $2 extra for the side and the food is not even that good so now I will wait when I go to queens to get some good Jamaican food.

2021-07-21I came out to your restaurant and got food instead of uber and grub hub ...so today I said let me go out again visit your restaurant ! I was charged 21.95 for large oxtails . If the lady working was going to charge that much then the other lady could have filled my tray up , my mom likes oxtails but I was on my way to to Ben crab Asian run business! I know you want more people to come out ! Best to quote some prices ! It’s cheaper online for a large ! Fried Chicken was not that fresh ! It’s 5 pm I dropped my mom her food earlier she was eating. She said 4 oxtails all that plantain glad we not sharing..

2021-12-11I paid $15.00 for the smallest plate of oxtails that I have ever seen. What a waste because it doesnt even taste that great. I paid $15.00 for some mediocre oxtails, and a childs plate. NEVER AGAIN!! Save your money!!

2022-07-19Its the best Jamaican food in this part of Suffolk county. Everything on my jerk chicken order tastes authentic and flavorful, including rice and peas, cabbage and plantains.And the spicy jerk sauce they have is actually spicy, like hot and spicy, just how it ought to be 😊!

2021-05-16This is by far one of the best Jamaican spots on the island. The food is DELICIOUS and I like the meat to rice ratio. Usually most places give too much rice and a small portion of meat but this place gives equal amount of each. I CLEANED my plate and will definitely order from them again!!!!

2022-03-21They chop the chicken in all the stewed dishes into chucks and the bones splinter and are small. Called to inform them my mother nearly choked and should perhaps consider not doing that to prevent someone from chipping a tooth or worse! Instead told me not to tell them how to make money lol wow I did them a courtesy but thats what you get sometimes with low class business owners cant take constructive criticism from a customer.Chew at your own risk people or eat elsewhere!!

2021-02-20My husband loves Jamaican food and is very particular where he eats it. We use to go to a place in Central Islip but when they changed ownership the food went downhill. So he tried different places through Door Dash and had been less than pleased. Whether it was the taste, price or quantity. We decided to try Willies today after I read the reviews. I actually read the reviews to my husband and told him he should try it. I was a little hesitant as if it wasnt good I would feel responsible for telling him to try it . Unfortunately on Door Dash you cant put special instructions so my husband called Willies and they were so polite and accommodating. Whew....he loved the food and was impressed by the amount for the money and most importantly he loved the flavors. Guess we found a new spot for Jamaican food! Yesssss!

2022-01-17Wanted Jamaican food so we stopped by this restaurant near my daughters house. I like escovitch fish with peas and rice, my daughter usually orders jerk chicken with peas and rice. I didn’t care for the fish it had no taste and the pickle was terrible. My daughter asked for a side of jerk sauce. They gave her bbq sauce that was extra spicy. Save your money. You don’t get your money’s worth. They are very expensive. If you are charging so much for your food we need to enjoy it.
