They have the greatest selection of the BEST vitamins + supplements in the USA. If you have health issues or are immune-compromised, this store on Park Avenue will have the vitamins to assist you. Their staff is quite educated on everything.
The Grand Central Willner store is very well stocked with vitamins, minerals, herbs , books and related nutritional items from various brands. The staff is very knowledgable and will help guide your choices. Their prices are competitive and sometimes sales are offered on specific brands. In my experience, no other NYC vitamin store even comes close to what Willner offers. It’s a place to value and explore.

I have had very positive experiences with Willner Chemists and now I am attempting to locating a store in Queens or Long Island. If there is no store near this area, I would like to order their catalog. Their supplements are great!
The best supplement store in New York City. The staff is knowlegeable, helpful and know the characteristics of the products of the products they sell. I have been helped with suggestions for remedies as well as the proper dosage for each product. Experience has shown that the information they impart is correct and can be trusted. Would recommend this store to anyone tired of being poisoned by conventional drug company therapies.
I love this pharmacy! Everyone is extremely knowledgeable about the product and happy to answer questions. One fantastic feature is that you can meat with a nutrionist, a service offered to me the first time I picked up vitamins. Another great feature at Willner is that you can order supplements and pay for them ahead of time, just pick them up at the pharmacist in the back. A great old fashioned pharmacy for any and all supplements under the sun. Happy to come here again and again.
This store is massive. Their array of products is astounding and its a very lovely store. The staff however are extremely rude. Walked in, said hello and the staff at the register just stared at me like I had five heads. They did not greet or ask if I needed help. Ive never been to the store before, so I was going to ask for assistance, but after what I assume was the manager gave me the most disgusted look I decided to help myself. Thankfully the store is very well organized and I immediately found what I was looking for. Walked up to the register, barely got a hello and a thank you from the cashier and left. Im sure they have great products, but after being blatantly ignored by staff, Ill be sticking to VitaHealth.
If Vitamin Shop doesn’t carry a specific product, the staff at Willner Chemists are knowledgeable to perhaps suggest alternate products to address your concern. There is no establishment comparable for price and staff service than Willner Chemists that I know of in New Yawk :•}
F you buy your supplements in a store, this is the store for you. A good,selection of quality brands. Staffed by knowledgeable and helpful employees. There are discounts and monthly specials (on types of supplements, and also on brands. If you want to go somewhere where you can ask questions, receive advice and find the best type (form, brand, ect.) of what you are looking for, Willner is for you.
Love this store. Incredible selection of every vitamin supplement and herb you can imagine, and their prices are often better than you’ll find online.

Dane was a creative thinker solving a technical problem with my receipt. He is the experience Im calling excellent for good humor, flexibility and will to accommodate. Unfortunately, a criticism is that a previously approached male staff member did not give me confidence on two counts. He was looking into his phone, which I seemed to interrupt, and when I asked if he was free, he did not answer YES directly. Rather, How can I help you--a formality that has the irony of depersonalizing a relationship--was said twice. His argument was that I should accept his manner as the only answer I needed. I said there seemed to be a cultural difference and--happy in my choice--moved on to Dana who knew how to partner authentically.

The most complete and well staffed holistic - vitamin - supplement shop that ive come across in new york. their prices are comparable to similar brick and mortar stores but their selection is -not necessarily larger- but better. the best thing about wilner chemist is that, while vending bio products with little no no oversight, the staff is uncommonly knowledgeable of the products and brands that they carry.
Two other local pharmacies referred me to Willner because they themselves did not have the homeopathic remedies I needed in stock. I called Willner after the 2nd pharmacy said the same as the first.At first, I was disappointed when no one picked up the phone but decided to leave a message. Surprisingly, within five minutes Akin called me back, asked how he could help me and assured me everything was in stock and indeed he would set it aside for me.No lines or waiting when I arrived, and just as I said my name, Akin acknowledged me from his higher tiered perch and assisted his colleague in finding the bag he already set aside with my name on it.Felt like a concierge experience. Perhaps Im making a big deal about this but when youre not feeling well and your health practitioner implores you to get a specific remedy asap...then you just want to be assured...not delayed or bothered. This is my favorite vitamin shop. They have rare products that is hard to find in other stores, or you can find it online only. The staff are very knowledgeable and nice.
If you are a person of color, and would rather not be racially profiled during your lunch break, I suggest you instead do your shopping at the CVS around the corner. Despicable behavior was displayed today by the staff here.
I just called the pharmacy asking for information- I spoke to 2 people ( mike and Atkin) they were both amazing. They were helpful and made suggestions. I cant wait to go to this pharmacy in person

2020-01-14Excellent service thanks to the knowledgeable and friendly staff at Willner Chemists! I stopped by here to pick up a few items for my wife. She had called in earlier in the day to inquire about post-nasal drip remedies. The expert chemists here had just the ticket! The homeopathic remedy recommended made my opera singing wife feel great again.

2018-12-12I never will go anywhere else for my supplements. Willner has an amazing selection of herbal, homeopathic and vitamin supplements. I adore Felicia, she is so helpful, not pushy, and knows great supplements for middle-age women. I always look for her. And the two young women at the register are a delight. I truly love shopping here.

2021-06-15I used this store for a number of years. Mostly ordering on line. Recently I had to order over the phone. As a result I was charged twice as if I ordered two bottles of probiotic while I ordered only one. To argue with the people over the phone was useless. Apparently admitting mistakes is not something they were taught. Much easier to lie. Both persons were rude and suggested for me to throw another bottle away. No refund. Tough to be a Canadian! Wont use them anymore. Remembered, that some time ago I wanted to clarify something on their site and got mocked. Terrible customer service!

2021-05-25Went in with the intention to get blood pressure supplements. I had Danes help and we had such a pleasant conversation of different ways to naturally lower blood pressure. He was telling me about the 3-6-9 breathing technique (which Im using now!). Although I didnt buy anything, Im definitely coming back for probiotics!

2020-10-03Definitely a rip off. They charged me $55 for a bottle of Lions Mane supplements when I can go online and get the same thing for $15 at a higher mg. The same exact bottle costs $40 online with free shipping. Id look up whatever the suggest to see if you can get a cheaper deal before purchasing here. I have no issue paying a high fee if thats what it costs but I have an issue with stores taking advantage.

2018-03-10This is a rather unique supplement store with extremely qualified individuals. Ive been doing orders on the web for years! I started with them after I realized they have ENTIRE lines of health supplements (vitamins, minerals, herbs, etc.). I have never had a problem ordering online and I enjoyed calling for assistance because the people are so helpful and knowledgeable. Two hundred thumbs up to this place!!
