Great hospitality at this little gem, if you like grape, you’ll love this place.
I had the most amazing experience wine tasting with strangers I met that night for a Valentines day event. The host really cool engaging all the tables, expressing his interest in wine and playing ice breaker games with everyone. Will sooo go back!
This is seriously such a hidden gem. Awesome food— Mediterranean + Turkish, loved the cheese cigars and the prosciutto and arugula flatbread. Affordable and delicious wine. Highly recommend the waitress Ezgi!! Will definitely return.

Quaint, lovely little place with great wine and cheese selections. While there arent alot of food options, they are simple and good tasting for what you expect. Great happy hour and descent prices. I always love the privacy this place offers and allows for great conversations and date vibes. Very special find.
Came here to meet up with a friend one random night. Its a small nice place. They have a great selection of wines and they let you test some out before getting a glass. Service was excellent. We did not try their food but I would not mind coming back here for their wine selection.I would recommend this place.

Small, cozy & good Turkish influenced food with fresh ingredients. Nothing complicated, simple.Fine wine selection, a few bottled beers and full bar, but from the name you should expect wine. Just a few steps off the beaten path and it really does feel like an escape from the noise and furor of hells kitchen. The owner is usually present, which always makes a place feel more accessible, because you know she cares.
Great wine selection with rotating featured wines. The grilled cheese sandwich is to die for, and the hummus is worth it for the phenomenal warm grilled pita alone. Best of all, the staff is amazingly friendly and make you feel at home.
This place had some great wines, was uncharacteristically quiet given its proximity to Times Square, and the bartender was super-friendly. Sat there for 2 hours with 4 friends and we shared a few bottles of wine. Would gladly go back again.
Great place for grabbing some wine and food. Usually pretty quiet and the bar tenders are very nice. Only downside is it’s a bit pricey, but that seems to be the case for most wine bars in nyc.
This is a hidden gem. Not easy to find, small entrance sign if you are walking distracted you might pass right thru it without notice! From the outside Wine Escape may not look like much, but its worth a visit if in the areaWine and food aside, it was a great place to sit down for a bite and actually have a conversation; wouldnt say its off the beaten path but the atmosphere inside the quaint wine bar is simple and relaxed. The perfect place to share a bottle of wine and a plate of meats and cheese or their delicious flatbread! Bartender is super friendly and knowledgeable
Great lil wine bar with a nice selection. Only complaint is it would be great to know wineries region and not just varietal and country of origin. Besides that service was friendly and accommodating.

There is no Happy Hour here and the wine by the glass is on the pricey side...but the small selection of wines by the glass are excellent indeed. The meatballs are incredible as well. I would defintely come back for those meatballs.
One of my favorite wine bars in NYC. Its relatively small, but its very cozy and comfortable, and even when its full it never gets too loud. Try to get a seat at the bar - this place always seems to have bartenders that really genuinely enjoy what they do.
All of one block out of the tourist area and there’s great service, good food, and good wine.
The ambiance is lovely and so are the bartenders. The food is amazing. Try the cheese cigars with the fig jam. Its a great place to sit and read a book or catch up with friends.

Good food and reasonably priced for the area. My girlfriend and I loved the flat bred pizzas and small entrees. Definitely a spot to try if you are interested in small settings with good food and wine.
The cheese and charcuterie was awesome. Five choices of cheese or charcuterie for $29. Two triangle pieces of cheese per choice!!
Great little wine escape (quite literally) in Hells Kitchen. Excellent selection. Friendly service. It can get a little warm when crowded, but its still worth it.
As so many people have said before. It’s a really small intimate kind of setting. Service was great, bar tender was very attentive and seemed to have a good rapport with his customers. I recommend the grilled cheese 😊

A cozy little wine retreat in the hells kitchen vicinity. Enjoyed a nice port (ok 2) in this low lit, intimate location. Stop in if your in the area, but keep a keen eye as it can be easily missed.
Nice place, intimate. Small hideaway. Ordered the cheese plate, nice cheese selections but the small slice they give for the cheese is ridiculous. They could be more generous for the $17 price.
Wine list and food menu is limited but its a cozy place next to the most noisy, busy, crowded place of world. So we appreciated the time spent there before going back in the craziness.

2021-08-06Quaint and nice. It was a “MeetUp/Social” type of event and was able to meet nice people, the event was for a summer rose wine tasting, I would go again. The salmon entree was perfect. The wine was good. Staff was friendly and attentive.

2022-06-06My wife and I were visiting NYC for a few days staying near Times Square. After a long day we just wanted some wine and a few small plates. We found Wine Escape online and decided to give it a try. We each got a flight of four wines and some appetizers. The wines were excellent, the appetizers delicious, the service friendly and the ambiance delightful.

2019-09-20What a treasure! If you want a local, quaint wine tasting/ cheese spot, head there now. We were assisted by Ugur, the knowledgeable young man who turned on to several great wines both domestic and primarily foreign. Likewise, the cheese board, warm pitas bread and the fig spreads were fantastic! I will be sending my friends here and most definitely return next visit to NYC.

2021-08-03My friend and i went here about 2 weeks ago and it was amazing! Ezgi was our server and bartender and she was so knowledgeable about all the wines and helped us make the perfect selection! She was also so friendly and sweet! I had probably some of the best Pino nior Ive EVER tasted!! I can not wait to come back here next time im in the city

2019-08-03Cute little place right in the heart of midtown. We came here for some wine and cheese plate and were not disappointed. They have a great selection of wines and cheeses. Our cheese plate came with some warm pita bread which was super delicious. The waiter even gave us another free basket once we finished our first one. They were so so good. Its a cozy little spot and great for dates and conversations. The tables are a little cramped but its not too crowded. Service was excellent and we will definitely visit again.
