SCAMMERS , unfair pricing AND SCAMMING FRONT DESK.This Place and the front Desk lady Theresa, absolutely scammers. She said to me I am weighed out of the scale at 420 POUNDS less then when I came in, she measured when I pulled in with me in the truck, and when going out when I was in the office! I only dropped off two mattresses and a small board, maximum 100 pounds, I was there less than 5 minutes, there’s no earthly way I was able to unload 420 pounds worth of stuff in under 5 minutes.DEFINITELY DONT USE THEIR SERVICE!!!

BUYER BEWARE! Been a customer for 15+ years and they decided to charge a $210.82 pick up fee (picking up dumpster after contract) in result of us moving companies due to the fact they were charging double the price as twin Bridges for the same trash removal. Spoke with customer service on the phone and they could care less, I’ve had this happen now multiple times (as they seem to always have a fee...) I advise everyone to stay away from this company!

Worst company on the planet. Incompetent and run by what I presume is 7 year olds. Signed up, paid 150$, had cans dropped off, first two service pick ups were missed. Called to find out what was going on only to find out they don’t service my area. How as a company do you even let that happen? I’ve seen lemonade stands ran better than Waste Management. Do yourself a favor and take your business to twin bridges or county waste. Far superior trash removal companies.

WM has persistently missed our pick-up over the life of our service contract, including twice in the last few month and for an entire month this past July. It was determined after the first instance in July that the driver was going to the wrong house and noting that our bins were not out. Despite knowing this, customer service and the route managers did not take steps to address the problem and it continued to happen for the entire month of July. Each time I called, I had to explain the entire situation and had to convince each new representative that our bins were out and that the driver was in the wrong spot. Customer service obviously did not care to actually address the root of the problem and it has continued to occur. WM was unwilling to send the trucks back and has given refunds for some missed pickups, while refused to give refunds for others. I currently have garbage sitting outside my house from another missed pickup (the second time this winter) and customer service has failed to give any response to my missed pickup report.

I moved into a new home and ordered waste management for trash pickup. The cans were delivered as scheduled. They waited until the cans were on the curb for pickup the following week to inform me they DID NOT SERVICE MY RESIDENCE. Yes, they dropped the cans off at my house just to tell me they dont pick trash up from my house. I said fine, remove the cans immediately. They said no that could not be done. They were to be picked up at the end of the following week. Now I am storing their cans for free. Great. The end of the following week came and they did not pick up the cans; now reeking of old trash. I call to ask why and they said that they had rescheduled my pick up without telling me! Now they were scheduled to be picked up the end of NEXT WEEK. After speaking with three different representatives and waiting on hold for an average of 13 minutes each time, the cans were picked up 3 weeks after the initial delivery date. My new house smelled terrible having trash bake for 3 weeks in the August sun. It only took them 4 weeks to finally refund my money. Thank you for the convenience Waste Management.

This is the second week this month that they haven’t picked up trash or recycling. Pick up day is Friday morning; I have my bins out Thursday night. The first time it happened I called the automated system (because they’re closed all weekend) and it stated pickup was delayed and it would be picked up Saturday morning - which it was. This time, I got routed to an operator who said I’d have to call back Monday morning and she couldn’t help me. Meanwhile my full trash and recycling bins sit at the end of my driveway, and I have bags and cardboard piling up outside my back door.Absolutely unacceptable. I’ll be demanding a refund and switching to county waste - who I hear is cheaper anyway. That’ll be a fun way to start my Monday! DO NOT recommend waste management. Don’t waste your money. It’ll be more of an inconvenience than if you didn’t have any garbage service at all.

Credit card expired and the auto-pay did not go through. Went online to update the payment info, paid the quarterly bill, and the following month I was charged a $74.18 Reconnect fee. I think this is a sneaky, dishonest way to do business, so I cancelled my service. I received an email that autopay was disconnected, bins were picked up and I thought that WM and I had gone our separate ways forever.This morning theres a new email that says, We have received your payment. Checked my AMEX account and indeed they have. Called again...We cant see the payment yet, call us back in a few days when it shows up on our end, is the response. So I will call back, in a few days, then when/if I receive a refund for my cancelled service, I will report my credit card stolen or missing so that WM can no longer charge it.There are better & cheaper options in the Albany area for trash service. Personally, I would rather haul it myself than give this business my credit card number.

Well 2 trucks sew came to my apartment complex today at 420 am and decided to back down the road not once but twice and sit talking with the trucks running . Trash day is FridayNeedless to say I was woken from a sound sleep. Town noise ordinance is 7am they do the all the time and sometimes dont even pick up our trash or recycling leaving it to just sit outside.

I immediately regretted switching service to waste management, since the very first week they didnt show up. Since their policy was no refunds after a quarterly payment, we felt stuck, so we muscled through the cycle. Several more missed pickups or they came a day late. Will be using someone else.

Eric Boughton goes above and beyond for this company and it’s customers. He is always there to offer a helping hand and go the extra mile for the customers on his route. It is very much appreciated and he should be recognized for such. Thank you for all the hard work throughout all this chaos in the work Eric. It is noticed and appreciated.
