Nice small community park in the city with a nice pond at the center. Free parking. Some benches along the pond and a gazebo with benches to sit and eat lunch. Ducks swim at the pond. Bathrooms were locked. No playground for kids.
Tables and places to cook. Can go fishing. Playground for kids needs improvement. Dogs allowed and does have a bathroom. Love coming here.
The city of Gloversville took out the swings and slides, so they would have less to maintain cause the city is lazy.the park / Pond has been like this for a few years now. The old wooden jungle gym needs to be replaced but not with some thing stupid. I used to love going here but theres nothing to do but walk around the pond.... This used to be the go to place for families with hyper children so the parents could fish and the kids could play this city could fix up a lot of stuff to improve the city.
I enjoy the serenity here. Beautiful trees and a nice fishing pond. Bike riding, and now they put in swing sets. My daughter, and my Father love it here. I do to.
Quiet place to walk and is kid friendly with swings as well as picnic area. Can throw a line in to catch some fish or just sit on a bench and read a book.
They could clean the pond out dredge it I realy enjoy takin my kids and grand kids thear
A nice place to fish for a small family or just by yourself. Its even better after they fill it with more fish for annual fishing tournament.

2022-05-03Nice little fishing pond for kids. They have swings,picnic area and little grills. The path goes all the way around the pond and is wheelchair accessible. Sometimes the ducks visit.

2019-06-25The park is very beautiful. Its a great place for fitness training as well. There are a lot of trees a picnic table. Its an excellent place to hang out with friends and family. Its great for kids and adults alike. Its a good place to go when the weather is nice.

2018-12-11I like this little Park. We have had several events there. There are bathrooms available, if you wish to have a special event, by simply contacting the city offices. It is a peaceful Oasis in the middle of the city. There are picnic tables, benches, and a little Bridge Crossing the Inlet to the pond. This is not a large Park but definitely one of my go-to places when I just need a little bit of country.

2021-05-11I visited this lovely little park with two mighty men of God and we prayed for Gloversville. There was a wonderful witness of the presence of God. There was already an angel there in that pavilion when we got there. Several folks fishing. Nicely kept park.

2021-04-19Its sad that theres no place for kids to really go and single parents like myself with two kids who dont want to sit home and I dont drive so we want to go fishing we go to wolfords pond and theres garbage everywhere theres kids smoking blunts they stopped cleaning out the pond I just wish it was like the old days

2019-10-09Great place to take a break from the rush of everyday life. Quiet, very pleasant. If you enjoy fishing and want to get away theres fish in the pond. Short drive there or if you live in the Johnstown/Gloversville area, its a short walk.
