Dr. Wolman is wonderful! She see both adults and children - my husband, daughter, and I could not be happier. She is incredibly patient and very thorough. I have always been a bit fearful of having my eyes examined but she was caring and put me at ease immediately. Her diagnoses and recommendations are always spot-on. Her team is very professional and always so helpful too. I can not recommend Dr. Wolman more highly!

My family has been getting our glasses and contacts from Dr. Wolman for many years. She is very precise with prescriptions and has a great variety of glasses. I have a hard time picking glasses that look good on me, but the staff (thank you Maria!!) is great about seeing what is right for your face shape and coloring. And my daughter always loves seeing what will be in the monthly guessing jar--so family friendly!!

I had an absolutely horrible experience trying to get an updated prescription with Dr. Wolman. My family and I have been going to her for years and have never loved her service, but now we will really not be back. I went to Dr. Wolman this fall to get an updated prescription and then ordered glasses with that prescription. As soon as the glasses came in I could tell something was off (the right eye was very blurry), but I waited a few days to make sure it wasnt just my eyes needing to adjust. When I went in to see Dr. Wolman to figure out why I was having issues (I suggested perhaps the manufacturer had messed up or the glasses didnt fit right), she immediately became defensive and told me shed never given a wrong prescription, yet proceeded to give me an eye exam in which she changed the prescription she had claimed could not be wrong. She berated me for being so picky about my prescription and accused me of rubbing my eyes too much such that it changed my prescription (in a handful of months)... ??? When I left her office she told me she wouldnt recommend I use the second prescription (she had just prescribed), as it didnt make any sense to her that it had changed so much so quickly. I ended up resolving everything with my glasses manufacturer (Warby Parker, which Dr. Wolman had explicitly judged me for using but ended up being absolutely perfect in terms of expertise, customer service, quality, and price). When I later called Dr. Wolmans office with an inquiry she happened to mention that she had at some point realized my original prescription was a TYPO... but never felt it was important to let me know that??? If it had not been for the amazing customer support from Warby Parker, I would have spent several hundreds of dollars for several new pairs of glasses trying to find the problem (not to mention the multiple visits I needed to pay to Dr. Wolman). Needless to say, I was NOT pleased with Dr. Wolman and do not recommend going to her for your eye care needs (*although I have always found her staff to be extremely helpful and pleasant*).

What an amazing practice! With professional and individualized care and treatment! Our son went through months of extremely beneficial vision therapy with the help and guidance of Dr. Wolman and her wonderful, cheerful, personable and professional staff. Each week therapy sessions were conducted and personalized therapy treatments and assignments were administered. With clear dialogue, timelines and expectations, Dr Wolman, her staff, my son and I were all able to work together towards his goal of gaining better sight. I highly recommend Dr. Wolman and her vision therapy program. I only have positive things to say about her office environment, staff, and practices. We will continue to use Dr. Wolman for our regular vision checkups and completely trust her and her therapists to monitor our son’s vision as he has now graduated from her vision therapy program!

Dr. Wolman is Amazing! I always liked her as my eye doctor when I was in Westchester but I moved to NYC a few years ago and had to find a local doctor so I haven’t seen her recently. In the last few months I’ve had some issues with my eyes so I called her to provide a referral and look up old documents for me. She was extremely responsive and attentive to my needs and I’m not even a patient anymore. I would highly recommend her!

I’ve been working with Dr. Wolman for my post-concussion vision therapy and I couldn’t be happier about my choice. After seeing a host of therapists for various types of therapy after being hit by a drunk driver - I had been told there was nothing more I could do but “get used to my new normal.” I didn’t want to get used to it- I wanted to get better - I wanted the old me back. Dr. Wolman has worked with me using so many strategies, exercises and new techniques to facilitate my progress way beyond where I had been told I may be stuck. She is professional, thorough, insightful and always willing to help me understand exactly how each exercise will help me. She has been exceedingly flexible - working around my migraines, and also providing remote visits during the pandemic. I feel truly blessed to have found her because I would not be where I am today without her expertise.

I went to Dr. Wolman’s office for an eye exam after I suffered from a concussion. She gave me a thorough evaluation and suggested I use syntonics to address my symptoms. My headaches and eye strain subsided within a few weeks and I’m very grateful for her help. Overall, great experience and Dr. Wolman is a very professional and educated optometrist.

Awful, dishonest practice. Dr Wolman gave us a misleading diagnosis for glasses. She went and had my four year old son start picking out glasses while I was in the bathroom with my one year old daughter. A year later, we got another eye exam at a much better place and found out that he has 20/20 vision. She is much more concerned with her appearance and keeping those stilettos on.

Dr. Wolman is very knowledgeable, easy to work with and great with kids! The staff is pleasant, welcoming and knowledgable as well. There is also a great supply of glasses that are constantly being updated. I highly recommend this office for your eye care needs

Somewhat new to the Westchester area and I was hoping to find a good professional optometrist (GPO). Scrolled through a list of about 750 Providers as identified by my insurance company. Initially I thought, oh my stars...where do I begin..?? Then I remembered... and said a quick prayer. Got it down to a list of 3 and wouldnt you know it on the second dial attempt (the 1st optometrist office didnt seem all that interested in acquiring new business, hmmm??). However, on the 2nd call which Id placed the receptionist who answered the phone had the most pleasant disposition such that I immediately took notice. As we talked, she quickly revealed just how knowledgeable she was about eye care in asking all the pertinent questions. I took this to mean that the doctor who she supports and works with on a daily basis probably would closely resemble her in skills, energy, and have a welcoming demeanor as well. Let me just say that my expectations were exceeded -- and then some! Thank you Dr. Wolmann and Staff for such a caring and professional experience. I genuinely hope that someone somewhere one day reads this post and opts to choose Wolmann & Team.... as their next eye care provider.I rate this experience >> 5 stars *****
