Wood & Fire Neapolitan Style Pizza in other cities:
First time visiting and I enjoyed myself. I wouldn’t recommend the rice balls or sangria but the margaritas and pizza was amazing. Our waiter was also very nice. He came around and checked on us and was quite funny. It was busy and we still received our order in a timely manner. I will definitely be returning this time to check out the brunch menu.
Where do I begin!? What a great dining experience. The staff was beyond friendly and attentive, and the food was delicious, from the appetizers to the desserts! A special thank you to Angela and Nichi, for being so gracious, attentive and just the best! Wood and Fire (scarsdale) will now be added to my go to list.
We were VERY excited to see that VINCENZO IS BACK slinging pies!!!!!!Highly recommend to anyone.Pizza *****Food *****Service *****Seriously an all around great experience every single time. We come as much as we can. I always have the risotto and it is always done to order and done perfectly. Always start with one of the wood fired pies, last night the Brooklyn Pie and it did not disappoint. We have tried almost every pie to choose from and everyone of them has been excellent.Bar staff are professional and very well trained at mixing.Above all else the wait staff is professional, courteous, attentive, and always make us feel welcomed.Lisa
Visited this Wood & Fire location for lunch with my friend and had a very good time. We shared some appetizers including the calamari, Rice balls, and I believe croquettes. I definitely recommend them all. The portions were generous and the staff was also friendly and provided great service.
First time visit was amazing! Came by for lunch with the family including 6 adults and 3 small children and the staff was courteous, food was delicious, and they were attentive to all the needs including some special changes to the food to accommodate the kids. We will definitely be coming back. Keep up the good work to the staff and management!
Andrew was great. Very helpful in addressing my food allergy concerns. Coming here since they opened..food is great. beautiful outside dining, but have always had a big problem with bees. I dine out quite a bit, they have a bigger bee problem than Ive seen anywhere else
Love the rear patio! Food is great as are the drinks! Pasta is phenomenal and the pizzas are the bomb! We always get a pitcher of the passion fruit maragarita with the paprika salt rimmed glass and ask to make it spicy.... sooooooooo freaking good!!!!! Cant wait to go back!
We haven’t eaten out but a handful of times in the past year and a half, and my mother in law was in town and we needed a break from our kitchen. Let me tell you, this was a fantastic experience! The wings were so good, we are still talking about them! Our server was so understanding of our 2.5 year old and all of our demands! When you book your table, make sure to ask for Andy!
They may not sell slices, but they do make some of the best pies around! The standard options are of course delicious, but the carefully crafted speciality pies really shine. Solid drinks, and a well crafted atmosphere make for an enjoyable, and somewhat more upscale pizza experience.
It is a very high quality Italian food place with nice people, outdoor seating and easy pick up options. While it may be a little bit overpriced, it gives you a good amount of value for the food you get which is delicious. It is Scarsdale though so what isn’t overpriced really. I will happily be eating here again.
Some local friends introduced us to this place. Truffle Croquettes, Shaved Brussels salad, Seared Scallop Risotto all absolutely delicious. Ordered the Wood & Fire Mussels without mostarda. Broth was like dishwater. Turns out the chef left out the cream also. After he redid the broth it was much better. All in all, a delightful lunch out with good friends.
Good food hood pizza and pleasant atmosphere. Parking is tight. But some on street spots are available. The service was friendly and good. Two things knocked the rating for to 4 stars, one, the pizzas ordered by a few of our party arrived much later than the other entrees, with apologies from our waiter, second, knock is a 3% surcharge for paying by credit card. Really? That seems somewhat petty, but its something thats an annoyance. Otherwise, it was a fun night for our family and worth a visit.
We came to the restaurant at 9pm, because google working hours show that the restaurant is opened till 10. There were people in the restaurant and it was half full. Manager came out and said - I am the manager and I have a discretion to close whenever I feel like, so I closed tonight. We are a family of 5, all adults.I guess the business is not needed. We were in the restaurant before and another manager was lovely although food was just ok. Beats salad had way too much dressing and Bolognese was fine but nothing special
Wood & Fire in Scarsdale, NY, is one of my new favorite restaurants. Ive gone with the family three times so far and I have not had a dish I did not like yet!! The food, the staff and the atmosphere are all amazing. My favs are the Fried Shrimp & Calamari, the Chicken Parm and the B & W Wings (😘). The hubby loves their spaghetti with fresh mozzarella balls and the garlic Flatbread. Our 10yr also loves the Chicken Parm with Spaghetti and the bread they place on the table when you arrive. lol They also make very popular, seasonal frozen drinks. I heard the Pizza is delicious as well!! I guess we have to return and see. 😊 Take the family, go with friends, go for Date Night....Just Go!! Enjoy.
Ordered a side order of meatballs. The meatballs were obviously baked not fried. When I went to slice them the interior meat was half cooked (pink) and tasted uncooked. The meatballs were obviously not cooked in sauce as the interior of them was also dry. The order arrived as if it was just dipped in sauce. Very bad experience and would highly recommend that no one should order these . They need to get someone who knows how to make and cook meatballs. One star is stretching it!
DO NOT order the Linguini Vongole. The presentation was great but there was sand in my clams. I thought it may have been just the one so I preceded to eat the next.. it only got worse. Literally a little ball of sand in my mouth. Worst clams I’ve ever had; even canned is cleaner than this.
Nice atmosphere and menu. Went to lunch there with a friend. The thin crust Roman pizza was delicious. The eggplant parm was not. There are big garage type doors opening on to a patio which made it breezy inside the restaurant and allowed flies in as well. Who likes flies on their food when dining in a restaurant?? No one! I will go back when the garage doors are closed and will try some other menu items.
H..O...L...Y C...O...W!!! By far, by far the best veal chop I have ever had. Perfectly cooked, the BONE IN veal chop, yes, BONE IN, is incredible. Not only is it the most delicious piece of red meat that Ive ever eaten, but the portion is seriously gigantic. I never leave a restaurant with leftovers and yet, I did not finish this thing! (I could have, but would have been struggling after).I am already making plans to come back with another group of people, to show them how good this dang chop is!! The service was also great, with one of the best waitresses Ive ever had. Cannot wait to come back!
Amazing pizza and service! Asked the waitress which was better, the ravioli or the spaghetti, and she recommended the ravioli. When I had tried it it wasn’t really the best and she was sweet enough to switch my plate for me to the spaghetti! Definitely the best service I’ve had in a while.
Food was delicious, creative and cooked to perfection. Service was attentive and polite from everyone. The remodel of the old space (formerly Mezzaluna restaurant) really updated the interior, and there is a large outdoor seating area. Great new dining spot for the Eastchester/Scarsdale area.
This place is going to get the rest together in terms of service Ive been here three times and the service has been horrendous every single time. This restaurant charges more than most so you would expect better. Weve waited 30 minutes for our food once once the waiter dropped our plate as he was serving it its just very frustrating because the food is good
Lots of pizza options & the thin crust pizza is flat bread style &more of an oblong shape & served on a wooden plank. The salads are large & good for sharing. The eggplant parmigiano was heavily breaded which gave a nice texture. The chicken scarparella (boneless chicken breat with crumbled sausage & mushroom sauce) was tasty. The only negative are that tables close together can make for a noisy experience especially when crying children are in attendance.
Food was good, service excellant, but you dont get bread at the table, no salad, everything is a-la-cart. It was very busy the night we went, I felt a bit crowded in, not much room to move. I had a glass of chianti they charged me $12.00 for 1/2 a glass. I thought that was a bit much.

2022-05-14Went there for dinner as a family on a Friday night. The place was crowded but we were given a table inside although we were advised that a reservation was preferred. The inside dining room is loud! The waitress was very polite and took our orders promptly. The food was very good. The pizzas were delicious! But a bit pricey. We spent about $45 per person.

2022-06-26Place is awesome, atmosphere is awesome.Food is over priced and over rated...Better off staying home and placing frozen dinners or pizza (too salty) and small...What I mean why pay almost $20 for 2 slices of brick oven pizza? Pasta is over $20 a plate and you get a small plate. If you looking for a good quality Italian food please look some where else. But if you want to flex $$$$ please visit this place.
