I had a retirement party for my husband. We gad a wonderful time. The owner, her assistant as well as the staff was very much nice and all worked hard to make sure everything with well. Thank you
The staff was horrendous. They locked out our guests outside in the cold. They were screaming at everyone, they threatened to shorten our stay (even though we already payed for the full day beforehand) They changed our schedule in the day of our event. Our room was freezing so we asked multiple employees to heat it up but with no prevail. They even asked us to pay EXTRA! I dont recommend coming here.
They were so rude they left the guests outside for 30min and when the guests came in they wouldnt let them up.We booked until 12 they change it to 10 and wanted us to pay extra and wouldnt let us use a curling iron and the food didnt make it to my mouth before they took it.To specify, you waited till the day of the event to tell us about the curling iron, how is the bride supposed to fix hair. You should have told us prior.
If I could rate it a 0/5 stars, I would. This was the WORST service, experience, and situation Ive ever dealt with. I feel like I have been robbed and scammed by these peoples.To begin, the person in charge (Sangita) is unorganized, vile, and is money-hungry. Contract was tampered with. Here are a few reasons NOT to do business with them:1. The rooms were FREEZING cold. Our poor bride was shivering.. We asked for the heater on, and still its insanely cold. Such poor service, I wanted to leave instantly.2. The place was dirty! Fingerprints & dust on the cups, bathroom, walls. lights.3. Our guests were kicked out. They only agreed to open at 6 pm on the dot, leaving our guests in the freezing cold. Extremely disrespectful and the Sangita was inconsiderate and shouting at them. Who treats a human being like that?4. *Strict* rules: you canNOT use any irons whatsoever. Sangita waited till the last minute to advise us of this rule :/ How can a bride get ready?!?5. Communication was extremely off. She let us know we had the place from 6-12, then changing it to 6-11 on the *DAY OF.* This was brutal. We had to pay extra money just to keep our times.6. Food was cold and gross. We received unprofessional services. I barely sat down to eat, got up to dance, came back and food was taken immediately? Cmon, its a party! I cannot eat in less than 5 minutes.Overall, just dont do it. Dealing with these vile people stressed me out and robbed me of my money. Ive never left a place where I instantly became sick physically and emotionally._______________DONT RECOMMEND WHATSOEVER_______________
I cant even express how bad this experience was, definitely a 0/5 if possible. They literally started cleaning before the party was done, it was embarrassing and humiliating, I couldnt even fathom how the bride felt. Sangita, do better and treat people with respect.
Service was amazing as usual. Sanjeeta and her staff were very friendly, this was my third time coming here in the past month. I strongly recommend this hall!!
It was a horrible atmosphere . The cups were filthy, owner Sangita was impolite to the guests who had been invited, having them wait outside in the cold. They refused to turn on the heater in the brides changing room. Demanded that we pay extra to stay for the hours we had reserved.The booking had prior decore for another party displayed in a corner during our engagement party with no care. In addition,the lights were falling and there were markings on the walls.Youre horrible, Sangita.I dont know how you sleep at night knowing that you ruined a brides event for more more payment.
It was an amazing service. The food was really good and they ensured that everyone got to eat even though the party ran longer scheduled. Highly recommend it for hosting your party.
What a beautiful place to get our special occasions, the owner and his family is a wounderful business personality, they will work with you the dates and prices accordingly to the need. My function at their place was a great and best experience, I recommend every one to try this Banquot hall before you try anyone else around Jamaica queens .
Bad experience. I was freezing and felt very uncomfortable. Workers were staring as well as giving us dirty looks. Overall, I rather have booked at a park than this.

I searched for months to find the perfect place to share my milestone birthday - the big 50! I was having a black and gold Harlem Nights Roaring 20’s theme party. Then I found Woodhaven Manor and it was perfect! More than enough space with great food, open bar and most importantly a friendly and accommodating staff.Who knew a pandemic was about tochange everyone’s lives forever! Although I had to postpone my event 6 months past the date, Sandy was so patient and understanding through all the changes the pandemic brought upon us. I had the time of my life! The party was flawless!! Thanks Woodhaven Manor for making my special day one to remember for the rest of my life !
Beautiful venue and food is okay. Only complaint is dance floor area in front of stage looks dirty and old.

Just celebrated my dads 60th birthday at this venue. Very pleased with the service. Everyone was very helpful and couldn’t be happier for the way the night turned out. Staff was kind, friendly, and attentive. Bottom line, my family and friends had a great time! Thank you to the owner and staff! Bless you all!
Decent hall for family events, a little dated but Im there to celebrate not worry about decor.Though the food isnt amazing its what you expect at catering hall.The two rooms on the second floor have an issue with music in one room being heard in the other. The rooms are divided by a folding wall that doesnt block off sound.

The place is a well maintained space run by a family with lovely characteristics. My sons event (age 12) was very enjoyable. I rented only the space but the staff were inspired to assist and place the tables...which was much needed with all that needed to be done. It was clean when I got there ... thanks
Worst services, bad behavior. Got reception arrangements done here but extremely dissatisfied. They Charged full but gave just 50%services. The man in a management control is sweetly hypocrite . They know how to trap the customers. The way they asked for the payment was so rude and mean. Not recommended at all. If still anyone wants to experience then give it a try.

Was there recently for a bridal shower. The room was absolutely stunning and decorated beautifully. The food was also very good. I would like to try and book my sons communion party there next year and hope to be invited to another event. Will recommend to friends. Thanks smile emoticon
I was at an event there last night the front was looking very nice but when we started to take pictures the seats were extremely dirty with stains. lets move up to the grand room nothing impressive. The servers where not professionally dressed, their shoes were dirty and both of them looked like they didnt wash or comb their hair all day and didnt want to be there. ( grooming is key to a professional environment when your serving people.) lets move on, the appetizers look old and tasted just as bad including the soda which was served cold but flat. The main course was even worse. Towards the end we sang Happy Birthday and they took the cake to be served but never came out with the cake. people left and i was one of the last one to leave and still didnt see the cake come out. I will never recommend this place. Oh lets not forget that the bathroom stalls are so small that you had to squeeze yourself into the side of the toilet so then you can close the door. NOT THE GREATEST PLACE. I GAVE IT A ONE STAR BECAUSE IT FORCED ME TOO IF NOT THE REVIEW WOULD NOT GO THROUGH.

I booked the catering hall for my daughters sweet 16, on January 30 2016 and the food was amazing. My guests were to totally satisfied. I want to give a special thanks to Mandeep, his wife, Antony the manager and the rest of the staff for their professionalism and for making my daughters birthday the best experience. The whole venue was outstanding including the water fountain and the piano player, as well as the bartender and the chef. Overall, it was 10 stars and I totally recommend this venue. Forget about the bad reviews go see the place for yourself , you will fall in love.
Attended a party there and was very impressed with how big the space was, the amazing food... but most importantly the service. Everyone from the staff to the manager of the hall was extremely helpful and attentive. My friend who was hosting the party seconded that, by being that she had less to worry about, and as everyone knows... there is enough to worry when planning a wedding. If I do his a large party, it will definitely be at Woodhaven Manor - from a guests perspective... they pulled off an amazing party. Great Job!
The place was awful my daughters sweet sixteen was planned for about a year so I plan everything carefully and beautiful for her special day the owner told us we could come and decorate two hours ahead but one week before he call us and told us that their was a party before us and the staff will help us decorate not to worry whe we get there the party was for 7 pm and there still people there from the previous party the place was filthy and dirty so i was upset and so was my husband my guess was arriving and nothing was set up then right next to us the other room there was another party with the music loud we could not even hear our music as the peek into our party looking at 16 year old girls so disgusting i did not get to put any of my decorations that we bought and the parking we paid valet the lot was full my guess had to park their cars out side. When we came in they had come in through the back by the kitchen it was a bad experience i do not recommend.
Yet another awesome experience again. I have had several events at this party hall and it has been amazing. Prices are reasonable and very beautiful inside. Manideep and his staff are wonderful. Great location for all type of events. I would highly recommend for big and small events.
Horrible service I have ever experienced. We had a party Saturday night(June 29th) and my experience was terrible. Food was disgusting and staff were very rude. I extremely recommend not to book any party they are gonna ruin the party.
I don’t have any fight with the management or stuff so just doing an honest & fair review.I have attended many ceremonies in this place for years. This place is very clean and nicely decorated but has failed to provide good service and quality food. I’m feeling every year their food quality getting worse to worst. Usually have to wait long time until asking servers to refill dishes. I would not recommend this place for such & such thing.
An exceptional place to plan both formal and casual events. They rent out spaces suitable to your needs. Whether its a corporate event, a birthday or a celebration for a special occasion, they are ready and capable of providing you the greatest experience and offer multiple packages.
Pure scum. We booked these guys last month (September) for our wedding on the 23rd of November; left a deposit and signed a contract. We just received a call from them today informing us that they had already booked that day LAST YEAR. Information they somehow failed to relay to us at the time of the booking and the month that passed in-between leaving the deposit and the phone call.We called and spoke to some guy on the phone and his initial and only response was: Take me to court. The phone call lasted all of three minutes because it was clear this clown had no intention of honoring the contract and basically told us to pick up our deposit and screw off.I cant urge enough to anyone who reads this (and the other negative reviews left at the behest of this ownership) that you are taking a massive gamble from booking these guys for any large scale event. There are plenty of competing venues in the area who are less likely to pull this kind of nonsense. Please, do yourself a favor and avoid at all costs. You are doing yourself a disservice otherwise.EDIT: The post below mine is ownership making a false review of their own establishment. The stupidity is off the charts as evidenced by: There is always room for error in any event but they make sure that the customer.Get real you clowns.
When my husband and I stumble across Woodhaven Party Hall, we were not sure what to expect. However meeting Mandeep (owner), and seeing the hall we were confident that we had made the right choice. We did not wish to see anywhere else. Talk about pricing, this is the most affordable place from all the halls I inquired about. The bartender and staff was very helpful. Thank you Woodhaven for making our wedding reception one that we will always cherish.
Very large venue with multiple banquet halls that can be used for small weddings, or combined together to form a giant hall that fits up to 800 people for a large wedding. The halls are in excellent condition .The staff was friendly, service was great and food was incredible. I highly recommend.
Went to a wedding there last night and I must admit the room was huge and beautiful, but the service was horrible. For the finger food, they had one girl working and she kept going back to the same table, the wedding party had to get up and serve themselves after they started call the table to the buffet.The food was nothing great to talk about and not placed on the table well.
I had recently been there upon my girlfriends recommendation and I love to be there again. The food was delicious and it is a customer-friendly restaurant. Overall its an excellent venue for large parties like end of the year, graduation, etc.
Felt like I was in the 70s with all the leather and mirrors on the wall. The mens bathroom was really dirty. No one was cleaning it during the wedding I was there for. Auditorium style seating made me feel like I wasnt even at the wedding reception. But looking over it from a distance. Had good A/C for the heat . That was a good thing.

Im so glad we ended up choosing this venue for our party. We shopped around at about 10 venues and this was by far the best decor and price.The food was just as good as when we did the tasting. The customer service was phenomenial. All our guests complimented the food and service.
We had a good experience hosting a party at this place. Well managed, clean interiors, the manager is attentive and receptive to requests. Overall satisfied with the experience. I would definitely recommend it to others.
Absolutely terrible service . 3 waiters for 150 guests is completely illogical. Had to ask repeatedly for water, food. Food trays will stay empty until the servers are told to refill. While an event is going on there is absolutely no manager on the floor present. They run this place so thin with employees!
I would like to commend the staff at Woodhaven Manor for their professionalism when it came to the day of my daughters sweet 16. We arrived hours late - the same time our guests were arriving. But with the help of all the staff, no one saw my daughter before her entrance and it was a big hit! Everyone is still talking about how mouthwatering the food was and how elegant the venue was. People were so impressed by my daughters party, that one of my friends has decided to have her daughters sweet 16 here. We received nothing but compliments throughout the night.
Walking into woodhaven manor, you are pleased with just how clean and maintained the building is. You are immediately greeted by welcoming smiles. There is nothing that is impossible to do, whatever type of wedding or party you would like to host, the staff is more than happy to turn into reality. The employee Aurea is just amazing, not only is her professionalism and hospitality the best, but she puts your best interests before anything. I will continue to refer people to this hall, i am very pleased with the services i have received on the events i have attended over the past couple of years.
Nice place but the 2 times Ive been there it has been upstairs which to some people could be a problem. The food was good very tasty, the hall is very spacious and there is a parking lot which is a plus, I dont know about the pricing but I guess its reasonable.

Had a 50th anniversary occasion at Woodhaven Manor. The food was great as well as the service. The staff were very nice and helpful people. The hall space was very accommodating for our occasion or any other occasion. The owner of Woodhaven Manor is an amazing, helpful, and a wonderful person to work with. Woodhaven Manor can also assist with limousine, DJ , photography and cake services.

I have been part of events for the last 4 years for my congregation and every year the service and attendance has grown tremendously and a lot has todo with the fact that woodhaven manor has an extraordinary staff and customer service . They are always on point and willing to improvised any last minute need before during and after any event . This is not a place only for weddings and family parties but also for important conventions where people of different ethnic get together to celebrate in a safe manner. There is always room for error in any event but they make sure that the customer is always pleased and happy with the end results . Today we are planning our new event and we are happy and bless mes to know that woodhavw manor is our place to be .. 👏👏👏👏

Food was dry, very packed setup. Stage was pretty though. Stuff and manager starts to packup chairs as soon as guests finish eating. Had a steel slope on stairs for no reason. Downstairs setup was good.
Horrible service. I told them a week before the wedding that I will be doing a suprise for the bride which is turning a video on for her which holds her memory. After spending a long time working on the video, the day we came in to turn the video in the TV, they said the remote is lost. This made us really sad because we were really looking forward to it😢😢😢😢.

Woodhaven Manor Caterers & Banquets was my venue of choice for my 40th birthday celebration. The owner throughout the entire experience was always responsive to the most minuscule of details. He ensured that everything was seamless. He coordinated with my Dj to ensure that all was in place. They provided a bartender and security throughout the entire event even during the set up and clean up. Everything turned out to be exquisite. Thank you Manideep and your team of staff for A-1 service!
Congested. Ghetto. Outdated decor. Lack of maintenance. Convoluted. Depressant. Lack coordination. Servers confused on what to do. Etc. Etc. Etc. Oh, and the bridal/ groom party had to beg for food and drinks cause their event didnt start until 7pm and it was only 6pm. Btw,the happy hour was the worse. Never seen anything like it. Theyll choose random table to serve, skipping table or people they didnt like... like me! Didnt get one bite during happy hour. They just smiled and kept walking like I wasnt there even when I raised my hand.
My experience at this Hall was extremely horrible. The service is really very poor, food was expired and tasted really bad. The bathrooms are very small, unsanitary, and visible to others. This is the worst hall I ever went to, this place is only made for a fake show to look at, nothing else to do. Everything of this Hall/Hotel was cheap.

Went here for a wedding. There is valley and free roadside parking after 7pm. The halls are big and amazing. Amazing amenities but the hostess not that a 5 star. But every otherthing 👌.
We planned a wedding reception for 6 months to have it horribly ruined by Mr. Mandeep and his crew.One person threw up in the party after eating their food.The worst food Weve had at any reception to date.The goat curry had an awful nauseating raw smell.The goat tasted like a 2 dollar a pound goat found at a local deli.Many of the children were unable to consume it, they went home hungry.The daal tasted like raw lentils straight from the crop.Masala is not translated to sprinkling pepper on meat.I feel the chef probably forgot how to cook because it tasted like boiled meat served on a platter.On top of that we dropped off a cake the day before, it was not served, presented, or consumed by our guests.The contract says to pay a week in advance.....Please Dont do it....please.I can not believe they named themselves a Banquet or a catering service. I might as well have told my youngest daughter to serve us her little Debbie cakes, would have been better.By far one of my worst experiences Ill try to book a park next time.But nice hall though.....
Worst catering hall. No one to greet you at the door. No signs to say what room the parties are in. Out dated and dirty carpeting. Most of the recessed lighting hanging out of the ceiling. Cheap dryed out crackers and cheese on the tables. I could go on but you get the point. Feel sorry for the people that pay for venues here.
Their food quality is really bad, they took money in advance for 600 guest and prepared food for only 200 people. Moreover the behavior of the owner is very rude and harsh. Their service is bad. I will warn everyone not to book this hall for anything if you dont want to regret later.

Went there for friend wedding, have seen some terrible service & management are ridiculous. After you book the hall then you can see their real face. Specially the guy name “Mandep”Ask your friend or relative before you go there!
They place isnt handicapp accessible. Took me over 40 minutes to get my mom in the place. no management on duty to help or to lead you what you should do. Got stuck in the parking lot. someone parked in front of the gate. I wont be going back

My sister had a party at the Woodhaven Manor and we was very pleased and happy with the performance and service from the hall. The staff at Woodhaven Manor was very helpful and courteous . The owner Mandeep is one off the most wonderful, amazing, and helpful person u can possibly meet. Woodhaven Manor can also help out with services such as Limousine ,DJ , Photographer and Cake. Large spacious venue. Parking lot in the rear with rear entrance/elevator for disabled. This is the only way to enter 2nd floor for the disabled. The front entrance has a flight of stairs. The food is terrible. Needs more staff.
I witnessed to the prestige service at a wedding that Wood Haven Manor offer to their ClientsGreat Venue very spacious and curtious staff listen to every request askedThe waiters promptly served each table at the appetizer hour and , the dinner was on time and very hot and they replenished each dish thru out the dinner time , the accommodation for the bridial party was great, the have six fully air condition room and Acess to a bathroom on the same floor , the bride and her party was served while waiting to make their entranceThere was a bathroom attendant thru out the event for both male and female , that kept the bathrooms fresh , Management was there to over see the lay out of everythingGREAT JOB CONTINUE TO SERVE WITH A SMILEMR MANDEEP AND HIS STAFFI would recommend this place and u would experience the value for your choice
We had booked this place for marriage for around 800 guest. It was good, the staff was very cooperative. It all went very smoothly. Food served.

Owner of this place (Mandeep) is good enough to screw your party. The only thing he cares about is money, no service! Worst service I’ve seen in my life. Stay away from this place and Mr. Mandeep.
Went to a wedding held in this manor and the hall where the wedding was held was both spacious and clean. The only thing Id harp about is the food served. It was ranging form decent to uneatable.
The carpet needs replacing. The loading dock and service elevator are filthy...a place that serves food should be clean behind the scenes as well as areas the public experiences.
Ive been to many places like this and i could tell you that they dont clean dishes well some of this place was dirty, the bathrooms too, the staff is really rude. I did not have a great time there. WORSE PLACE IVE BEEN TO

It was a wonderful trip with friends and the stay made us enjoyable. Staffs are very friendly moving and had a smiling face always.

I’ve been to multiple weddings there and my cousins wedding was incredible and the staff was so polite and the food was great but sadly they serve the same thing at every wedding
Poor customer service and the food was horrible. It’s not fresh, I think they save leftover food from other party and serve it to the next party... I feel bad to give them 1 star. I wish, I could give less then that..
Banquet Hall With no elevator. This kind of Banquet halls expect guests coming with their kids with strollers and older Peoples but they dont have elevator for there services.
The management is awful. Took tall the money in advance. Then could not even serve food properly. It was total chaos. Never ever going back there.

2022-02-23This place is so beautiful and spacious. I really enjoyed myself my good friends husband surprise retirement party. I loved the mirrors that covered the walls. It made dancing so much fun because I love looking at myself. The staff was clean, on point and had great attitudes. I hope someone else had a party here. I well be there for that.

2022-02-03C&D Arts and Carpentry Inc. I rented it for the companys Christmas party. My bosses liked the place a lot. Because of the free parking, the food, the drinks and the elegant space of the place. The owner is very friendly as are all the staff. We hope to come to this place again. Highly recommended!

2022-04-11I wish I could rate them a 0. I’ve had a couple of occasions here years ago that went well but I won’t be going back. We recently had an occasion and my guest were completely dissatisfied. Food was cold and taken away before all the guest could eat. The liquor was bottom level and the bartender did not know how to mix drinks at all. There’s was a fire that happened and the staff was slow to respond, standing there instead of taking action. Words can’t describe my disappointment. The staff was rude, stacking chairs on the table to clean up as guest were sitting down, and simple things like having clean plates were overlooked. I wouldn’t recommend booking here at all.

2022-06-28Horrible service, we had a wedding on June 27, we were given old food, there was not enough for the guests. They didn’t give the given food we paid for, we had talked to the owner for a partial refund, because we were served old food, however they would not let us even enter if we hadn’t payed the full payment. Never ever book Woodhaven Manle for your wedding hall!!!

2019-07-10Big hall, but air condition is not sufficient for full hall. So keep it in mind before booking any party, especially in summer time.No free parking. Owner Mandeep always asks full money before any program, but in return he gives you a worse experience. Lots of Attitude and uncooperative mentality.High waiting time to get your food because of improper management. Only one or two people to serve food. Food taste is very bad.

They have immense space with spectacular decorations.The food was mouthwatering.The waiters are well trained and cordial.If you wanna plan any party for your near and dear ones just do it here .
