Incredible find! Rarely do I review restaurants, but this place just opened up and the Berliner was absolutely phenomenal! The brat, horseradish mayo, caramelized onions and pretzel bun would have all been noteworthy individually. But together, the whole sausage is a must try. The service was also friendly and quick. Dont think twice before stopping in!
This place is a great addition to our neighborhood! I had the Restaurant Week special and it was an amazing value! The chorizo bacon on my chicken sandwich was so yummy! I hope they add this to the regular menu. Treat yourself to the tasty fries, onion soup, and brownie too.
This is a brand new restaurant in the area, the food is outstanding and the space is beautifully done. It feels like a higher end Shake Shack with wursts instead of burgers. In any event I highly recommend this place. Also, make sure to order one of their homemade brownies it could be the best brownie that Ive ever had!
Had the Steak & Eggs, while my fellow foodie in crime had the Chicken and Waffles (Brunch Deal on PulsD). Excellent!!! Nice clean decor, customer service great, food presentation great. They scored a repeat customer from first bite!!! I hope the NYC community supports this restaurant and show them some well deserved love. I certainly will be back!!!
Well, the name is right - this is the world’s worst.I came here with my roommate during a lively Thursday, right on the edge of evening. Many other cafes and restaurants were filled with people (it is NYC after all). We wanted to check out WW because the name hinted at an exciting variety of sausage themed dishes. The lack of people anywhere near this place should have tipped us off that the Google reviews (~4.7 last I checked) were completely misguided.First: the atmosphere. The vibe of this place is incredibly confusing, like a teenager trying to figure out which posse they want to be a part of. The music is very jarring, a mix of too energetic pop music and the standard music you’ll hear on any Spotify playlist. Not bad in and of itself but it compounded the sense of loss of direction. The decor was equally well set up, with generic tables suggesting the lack of soul in this establishment.Second: the ordering process. To preface, the wait staff were friendly and in no way are they to blame for the state of the restaurant - that falls to the owners. I wish the employees all the best. Ordering here was unorthodox, using an online menu for users to select their meals, drinks, and which toppings to omit or add more of. This system makes customers feel like they are ordering fast food, not sitting down at a restaurant, which didn’t sit well with me. To boot, the system automatically includes a process to start a tab, as if this place were some kind of bar. When I paid for my own meal, the system also included the price of my roommate’s meal, which I would have liked to have had split. The food came out at a decent pace (I purchased the Berliner, a soft preztel, and the Coney Island draft beer). The format of the meals was extremely disappointing, mostly consisting of a single sausage in some kind of bun (i.e. a hot dog). The Berliner (the only German themed dish) only had the one aforementioned sausage in a pretzel bun with sauerkraut, carmelized onions, and horseradish mustard. I’m surprised there wasn’t and option to replace the horseradish with the more traditional dijon mustard, which is also served here with the pretzel. The beer was actively contemptuous, and even among chronically bad American beers pushed the depths just that much lower.Overall, there are some *major* structural issues with this restaurant that caused me enough grief that I felt compelled to write this review (I have never written one before, and certainly wouldn’t have under lighter circumstances). I advise anyone looking for an American twist on German cuisine to keep a wide berth of this place, swallow your pride, and just go to one of the biergartens scattered throughout Manhattan. Hopefully this review was helpful to you.
Truly delicious food. Brand new restaurant - you can tell they spent a ton of time on the decor. Can’t wait to sit down and have some beers here Post-covid (they have an amazing beer selection) but I’ll be doing take out pretty regularly from now on. Amazing addition to the neighborhood.
Ok? No more, more than OK! It is a great place to go, and you can actually see the Empire State Building on one end and the World Trade Center Tower in the other. We were safe outside, COVID-19 social distance, masks, cleaning great!I was here with my family ( Wife, Son 14 yo, Toddler) and we got the Brunch menu, you might think a toddler in a brunch place? Well all places were full and it seemed strange why was this not? So I walked in and ... it’s simple we need to order inside instead of someone taking orders. We had the special burger, Benedict eggs and Pancakes (the kitchen cooks took out the blueberries although that was the special, but my Son does not like as that), and yes 2 free / complimentary drinks. The beer ( please ask Earl to choose, sorry if I’ve got your name wrong), the beer was chosen to meet the Burger, an IPA with Summertime flavor, and just great! And my wife a margarita. At the end Earl came in to give my kids a couple of gummies, and that is being really good in attention! So great kudos to customer service here. After being around the Soho to find a place and nothing was available this place appears with great food, warm place outside, very attentive personal and great sights, could not recommend more for the walkers that like to see a better New York emerging.

2021-12-31I had been looking for a great NYC hot dog, I tried a couple of street vendors with mixed results. I’m sure there are great ones as well, but I wanted to try a restaurant. The staff were wonderful, I couldn’t ask for better service. We tried the “Berliner,” a bratwurst and the “Empire Dog.” Both were excellent, I haven’t tried anything else on the menu, so I didn’t give the a 5 star review. They also have some great special’s, and I liked the interior, but we dined outside. If I get back to New York I’ll go back and try something else on their menu.

2021-06-27What a hit! To be fully transparent about it, I came here because my bestie had a voucher to try it out. Not only was the service (shout out to Jasmine and Christian) but my meal was so damn delicious. I cant wait to return for happy hour, eat and chat it up with the staff. This is definitely a must try.

2021-02-28This place is simply AMAZING! The food is delicious (not just saying, actually delicious!), the drinks were great and got us tipsy half way through the first one (they are not just full of ice as in most places), the tables are comfortable and the music was really good and not too loud but still entertaining. But the best thing is that it all came with great prices and amazing service! The manager and the waiter were super friendly, funny and willing to accommodate all our requests! This was the best brunch I had in NYC since I moved here 3 years ago and it will be our go to place for weeks to come! I recommend the steak frites cause it was tasty, tender and not just a tiny piece of meat!

2020-12-13I’ve been waiting for this place to open! Such a great addition to the Greenwich Village area. Perfect for lunch/dinner/late night grub. Amazing staff and the chef comes from a cool culinary background. Highly recommend. I had the vegan beyond sausage (lots of veggie options!) and anything can be made with an alternative. Big portion size, so be prepared to eat. Enjoy!

2021-12-20Absolutely love the food they have to offer here. Corn dog, chicken & waffles, Mac & cheese and the chili cheese fries are my favorites to order when I’m there. The staff are kind and very patient when I ask questions about the menu. The manager there is wonderful as well! When he’s at the bar all we ever do is laugh and have great conversations! Would 100% recommend going if you were curious!

2021-05-31Some of the best “wurst” in the city, classics and inventive versions. Large plates! The pickled veggies was also fantastic.

2021-03-08Really loved this spot! The easy-going vibes contrasts really nicely with the superior quality of the food. Words cant describe how good the food is, so take my non-word for it and try this place out yourself.I went there for brunch, so I had the chicken and waffles and it was delicious, the spicy syrup they used was tasty as well. At first I didnt think Id like the syrup but I ended up asking for more. So be adventurous when you order. I can bet that everything on the menu is good.Drinks are on point, so Im hoping itll stay that way, because who doesnt appreciate a well made drink. The whole set up of the restaurant is comfortable with lovely colors and nice furnishings, overall very good place!

2021-12-19We ordered a Pulsd coupon for this restaurant for our group of 4, at $29 per couple. Each coupon included 2 meals and 3 cocktails for brunch. We had never been to this establishment before and were excited for the deal we had gotten. The food was good but the service was very slow. Upon receiving the check, we were told that our total was $30. We explained that we had already paid for the Pulsd coupon which included all of our meals and drinks. We were told that the $30 covered the “taxes” included for the meal. They were not able to provide any other explanation other than the receipt simply saying “food taxes”. A 50% tax on our meal is absolutely inaccurate and a complete scam. We felt entirely taken advantage of and lied to. We have reached out to Pulsd as well to notify them that customers are being charged this ridiculous amount for meals already paid for. I would not recommend coming here for overpriced hotdogs and poor service.
